Despite having to focus, and this bitter cold, Marcel's cheeks would still turn a bright red with a soft, nervous chuckle at the fox woman's comment of taking her to dinner. She was cute he honestly couldn't deny, but he knew how awkward he was around women, so the idea of taking anyone out seemed like it would end in disaster. Plus the hybrid had this training to focus on right now which wasn't going well due to said cold. How anyone could operate in such a temperature was beyond him, but then again it was probably because he lacks training in this department.
Not noticing at first, Hinawa would come down, and observe the meditating hybrid more. Once she spoke, Marcel's eyes shot right open at the closeness of her voice. To him, her voice sounded soothing, soft in a way like you wouldn't expect her to have...anger issues. "I-I'm fine." he'd claim, still shaking some obviously before closing his eyes. He could still sense her presence near him which he tried his best to ignore, or he'd end up tripping over his own feet somehow. She'd instruct the man to keep trying as she flew off, the hybrid sensing the fox woman's energy grow farther. He wondered where she went off to, but not for long as he wanted to do what she instructed, and continued on with his meditation despite his butt freezing off from this damn cold air.
Slowly, Marcel inhaled, and exhaled in a pattern as he paused in between them at the right moments. He was determined to learn this technique, determined to never hurt another who didn't deserve it.
Finally, Hinawa returned with some resources she found, using it along with her magic to create a bonfire between the two. Marcel didn't see this happen, but he could feel it slowly warming his skin. A gentle smile risen on his face as the shaking stopped. Finally he felt at peace, listening to the words Hinawa spoke.
But...something didn't feel right. It felt....too easy.
Marcel's soothing smile vanished as he dropped his mediation stance. He walked closer to the fire with his eyes still closed before stopping. "I sincerely appreciate the warmth, Lady Hinawa." he claimed with a smile before planting a foot on top of the flames until they were extinguished. "But I doubt the enemy would do the same, if you understand what I mean." he said, opening his eyes half way to look at the woman before backing up to his spot, eyes once again shut, and back into the position. As polite he may be, there was no denying that Marcel was still half Saiyan, meaning he had their pride coursing through his veins. Not only did he need to work on his focus, but also his focus in different temperatures since one could never truly know when, or where a battle could break out. He needed to gain a resistance to it even if it meant freezing his ass off.
So once again, he returned to shivering.
