How could he be so fast? And so strong? At every strike, Duri was there to deflect away from him. Try as she might, she couldn't force herself to go any faster. His guard was impenetrable. What's more this headlong assault was burning through her ki fast. She didn't have much time to keep up this level of combat. With a start, Taro realized Duri wasn't lying. His power level must be far beyond hers, even with his weighted training clothing. Then, in a blur of motion too fast for Taro to follow, Duri struck out with his energy ball. Taro desperately tried to sweep her forearm downward to deflect Duri's attack. The move was too slow, and Duri's strike connected, sending her reeling backwards. She dug her heels into the ground and slid backwards, kicking up shoots and leaves and leaving two twin trails in the dirt. After she stopped, Taro sunk to one knee, staggered by the blow. Taro started to rise, but then pain shot through her abdomen from Duri's ki attack. She sunk down to one knee. "I don't care about losing!"Taro roared defiantly. Those that lost only did so when they gave up, "Or how strong you are! I just have to give it everything I got!"
With that, she rose, more slowly this time back to her feet. Taro grimaced at the pain. It stung like fire. Then, she extended her right arm backwards and summoned her ki. A small purple ball of energy flared to life in her right hand. It crackled and hummed as it grew steadily. Taro's hair started to ruffle as she summoned more power to put into this one attack, and a light blue aura started to outline her form against the green bamboo forest. As if they sensed concentration of ki, the Forest's insects, lisards and birds quickly scattered from their forest perches to seek shelter elseware. Her power started to increase steadily as she charged the attack.

Duri grinned as Taro flew back, she had a lot to learn. This was also good training for her, to increase her strength. Duri entered his multi-purpose stance, getting ready for anything else. Duri motioned his feet, holstering a grip in the dirt. He watched as she came to a stop, resting her knee to the ground. Duri swiftly looked at her and locked his eyes on her, paying close attention to what she did next. She was a tough saiyaness, after all. She was bound to get very strong someday.
She didn't care about loosing, she had the pride of a warrior. She was not like most other saiyans, as they would be very sore losers. Duri would smile, and would reply. "Well let's keep on going!" Duri would watch as Taro formed a ki ball, but Duri decided he wouldn't fire his own in return as it could potentially kill her. Duri exited his stance, she was truly putting power into this ki ball. His scouter detected the level of the blast quickly. Power Level: 1,000.
After all, Duri could quickly put up a shield if she were to launch it at him. Duri quickly floated from the ground and lifted himself into the air, raising himself up near a bamboo stalk. ["Ill stand on this... so if she fires that ki ball it won't go directly into the forest."] Duri then perched his feet atop a piece of bamboo, concentrating his ki so that he could stand on the stalk. "Lets see what you got."

Taro redoubled her efforts and pumped more power into this attack. She wouldn't disappoint. She stood, a totem of power in the lush forest. With all the fauna nearly fled, the only sounds were the hum and hiss of the raw ki flowing into the attack and the rattle of the bamboo stalks knocking against each other, blown back by Duri's and Taro's outsurge of ki. Taro strained as she charged the attack. There was no snippy retort or curious inquiry. Taro needed all her focus to charge this one attack. This one attack that would make Duri remember that she wasn't just another saiyan. ---------------------- [Charging: Breaker Shell, KP is still: 1/3] This turn | Next Turn | 66% | 100% | 2,000 | 3,000 |

Duri stood there as the bamboo sticks rattled along, managing to keep his feet placed on the stalk by using his ki. As all the fauna removed themselves from the area, Duri would keep his eyes locked onto Taro. His scouter then scanned the power of the blast, circling in on it. Power Level: 2,000. ["Well, she's managed to get the blast almost up to her power level, maybe she'll keep charging it."] Duri would stand there, waving. He wasn't too worried about the blast, as he could easily take it on. Besides, this could drive the saiyaness to get stronger.

Taro charged up the massive blast. She raised the impressive spinning maelstrom of spherical energy well above her head. This was her limit. Any more, Taro realized, and she risked causing an explosion that would level a good chunk of the forest. Taro snarled as she saw Duri only calmly waving on a single bamboo stalk. His poise, speed, and grace in combat was a stark contrast to Taro's style. Her stance was wide and low, as stable as a mountain, but as maneuverable as a large Earth Truck. With a slow, practiced motion, Taro strained to control the pulsating purple strike. She pivoted to bring her left foot forward as she brought the sphere behind her to her right. "Breaker!" She called the attack, as if yelling would somehow make the blow stronger, "SHELL!" In a blur of motion, she punched her right arm forward and launched the blast forward at Duri. Her knees bent to absorb the recoil, and the shot raced towards Duri with a high-pitched zwiiing. Taro smiled, waiting to see the impact and the devastation. -------------- [3000 PL attack coming at you!] KP still 1/3 This turn | Next Turn | 100% | ---- | 3,000 | ---- |

Duri quickly smirked as Taro was about to release, until she finally did. He stood there on the stalk, with his arms folded looking at the blast coming his way. 'Breaker Shell' was quite an interesting name to him, but he really didn't shout out the names of his moves when he did them. Not doing this would add to the surprise and swiftness of the attack. As the shot raced towards Duri, he made his own comment. "Nice try." Duri then quickly set up a pulse of ki around him, causing the blast to dissipate upon touching it. Of course this pulse of ki was not visible, anyhow.
Duri would still be in his same calm position, before looking back down at Taro, as he was focusing on the blast. "Nice to see you put effort into that, with a little more training you can improve the strength of it!" Duri quickly stepped from the stalk of bamboo, before touching down on the ground in front of Taro. Duri would wait for a comment before saying anything else.

Purika 2,361<-- Word count2,408 <-- Zeni gains718 Zeni --> 3,126 Zeni~-~-~-~ Taro 2,527 <-- Word count3,639 <-- PL gains3,000 PL --> 6,639 PLBtw, just a note Duri. I know that the fight didn't continue so there's no need to make changes (though I'd like it anyway lol) but for future reference. If you're using a [SU1] to block/dodge a tech coming at you, it's going to cost you a KP. So, at the end of your post where it shows 3/3 KP - you'll reduce that by 1 upon use of your tech.
