There was something to be said about the tranquility of the frozen highlands of the north, jagged plateaus seldom traveled by mankind lining the landscape covered in frost that sparkled against the sunlight. The air was frigid and heavy, and the land sat still and lifeless. The only activity was the howling of a chilling wind across the deserted landscape, which rushed against the stones and blew what little vegetation their was fiercely. Atop one of these plateau, which stood higher than most, was a littering of obsidian archways that had been crumbled and decayed with time. For those that would inspect further, they would find displaced cobblestones across the ground. For many, this would seem a pointless place to visit, some relic of an old age. For those with a sharp eye, they would locate something peculiar; hidden behind a large boulder was a concealed staircase that would spiral downwards into a darkened ruin lost to time. Surprisingly, arising from the ruin was a smell not entirely unpleasant... the aroma of some sort of meat and vegetables filled the air around the entrance, and a distant nagging voice of an old woman could be heard echoing throughout the unknown depths.
"I cook for you, I keep your clothes clean, I make your bed!" the raspy old voice could be heard coming from below. Within, down a narrow corridor left dark, came a wooden door that had a faint light behind it. Inside, stood a woman with graying hair and a deathly look about her. She wore drab grey robes and was slaving over a cauldron filled with a dark meat and various vegetables that she stirred. The area around was a small but disorganized hovel with a small kitchen, and piles upon piles of books that were stacked in various piles. In the corner with his back to the woman was a man who was leaning over a table. In the center of the room was a small fire pit that emitted an otherworldly purple flame that emitted no smoke, it kept the room relatively warm. "What do you do?"
"I carry out our ancestral mission to resurrect our ancient demon overlord to bring about his second coming, mother..." A voice replied sarcastically. A man in a black coat with dark purple accents and a feathery black collar stood over a diagram etched on parchment which bore what appeared to be blueprints for a structure upon it. He seemed to be intensely focused upon it, etching upon it with a feather quill pin. He stopped for a moment to look at the woman, who made a huffing noise. "Besides... I am pretty much never here anymore, I've only been home fore a few days,"
"Well maybe if you'd stop fooling around you'd have made some progress by now, Verpa, out there wasting time playing scientist!" Verpa's mother replied. She then pulled a wooden bowl from a disorganized shelf and scooped it into the bowl of stew before making her way over towards the man.
"We've been over this before, I have access to more resources this way, I've brought back more promising artifacts in these past few years than you did in your lifetime," Verpa said.
"I'm not dead yet!" the woman replied.
"Unfortunately," Verpa sighed under his breath.
"What!?" the woman barked.
"Unfortunately even with the progress i've been making, everything is just theoretical... I fear that it could still be hundreds of years before we can get a working model unless I make a significant breakthrough," Verpa replied. His ears then twitched and his eyes shifted towards the door that led to the exit of the hidden hovel, scanning past the heaps of occult books that were littered around the floor. He could have sworn that he had heard something. Emer -zeni reward with human bonus.

Heavy Weights on Thread Pl: 41,549
The frozen north was not ideal for the Kagami. Even though his body kept him warm throughout the blasting winds, and the buffeting snow grains. It was still uncomfortable for anyone. His white opalescent hair glowed within the sun the shined down. Why was he here exactly? Well Irith had talked Emer into exploring this planet some more. Before he had almost destroyed it, blown everything up. He remembered that time, thrown into a rage by the woman named Mimikku. For her betrayal, and yet all he did was knock her out? And instead of just destroying her alone, he was going to take the world.
Such a childish way to act, he should of thought of it more clearly. He had clearly taken care of the problem, he simply could of banished her from his sight. To never have to deal with her again. And yet, the tall Kagami had decided to simply go on a rampage. Without consideration for the rest of the lives on this planet. How many of them had been simply living life day by day? How many innocents was he planning to sacrifice for his undying rage? To many for him to even count.
'Emer, I sense something near by... It's faint but it's there.' Irith spoke up within his head. It was true, even within his deep thoughts, he sensed a power not to far away... In fact it seemed to be coming below him. Looking down towards the ground, he saw several different rocks... yet what stood out to the young Kagami was the fresh footprints. The snow had already begun to cover them up. Curiosity striking up within his mind, the tall giant began to move swiftly following the prints before they vanished into the white abyss surrounding his every being.
Finally coming to a stop at a rather large boulder, that seemed to be a mismatch for the environment he was currently in. Placing his hand against the boulder, he easily moved it revealing a darkened pathway. It looked to be some sort of stairs. Irith was warning Emer not to go down, but being the stubborn male he was the Kagami paid no head to his goddesses and slowly submerged himself into the darkness. Sounds of talking could be heard further within. What was the human saying? Curiosity often killed the cat? Or something very similar to that or what not.
'Emer, I think you should be wary. This isn't a place we should just waltz into.... You're already wounded, what will ya do if a pack of stray saiyans live down here? Or perhaps people that aren't so friendly?' Emer let out a small grunt towards the woman as she was spouting all of this nonsense out to him. Just how often did she worry like a mother towards him? 'Irith, don't worry about me so much... If it's saiyans they're weak... I can barely pick up one of them, the other has a decent level to them...'
However the further Emer had progressed into the tunnel, the more he had to crouch, the tunnels obviously not meant for someone around seven foot eleven. He finally found himself in front of a wooden door. The talking seemed to suddenly halt... Taking a moment mostly out of hesitation, the Kagami placed his hand against the door, oblivious to such things as door handles, as he lived on a ship where everything was automatic. He stood there frowning slightly, before just simply pushing the door down with raw strength and stepping inside. Once inside a small room, with a cauldron settled in the middle.
He saw two beings, a male clad in black and purple, and an elderly woman hunched over a cauldron. As the fire beneath it flickered, the light made his hair glow in different colors. His blood red eyes seeming like a predator as he looked around a bit more. Books had been scattered everywhere, the younger male in the room, stood over a purple flame. His eyes however had been glued where the door was, but now where focused on the dark cloaked figure, that stood around seven foot eleven in his full height. As the roof inside had risen to where he could fully stand.
"Pardon me for my Intrusion.' A deep gruff voice flowed throughout the cramped room. The two humans standing in shocked at the dark presences filling the room. At least they hadn't been saiyans, or the blood lust would literally roll off of Emer at the mere sight of a filthy monkey.

Pl 1,125 each brother. (Heavy Weights On)
Both brothers climbing side by side as the harsh winds were truly unkind to them. Climbing up the rigorous mountain without the aide of flight, proved difficult for Damu. Sweat covered his moist body, and Samu being a few feet higher and chuckling at him.
"Damu... come on.. your the one who wanted to climb this damn mountain.. and now you complain because your tired and their are no more ledges for you to grab.."
Damu exhaled heavily and responded back while almost being out of breath.
"Samu... why don't you try being 300lbs... it's difficult.."
Samu face palmed himself as he still held on with a tight grip and responded back.
"Maybe If you stop eating donuts and actually worked out.. maybe you would actually be physically fit.."
Damu turned his exhaustion into anger as he took his leap towards Samu and grabbed a hold of his ankle. Samu just barely able to hold on as he responds back to the reaction.
"You idiot!!! Let me go!! You are gonna drop us!!"
Damu replying back with a much louder tone of voice.
"Who you calling idiot!! This is your payback for insulting me!! Now climb!"
Both of the brothers spoke volumes of a high tone, and then, bits of snow started to fall on Samu's head. The way the snow fell, gave Samu a santa beard and hat. Damu laughed loudly as more snow fell on Samu's head. Samu was wondering why so much snow fell on his face and finally got his vision cleared as he looked up.
"Uh... Damu.. stop screaming..."
Damu get laughing more loudly as he found Samu's face kept getting hit by snow. Samu being angry, responded back with a louder tone of voice.
"Listen you moron!! If you don't shut the hell up, an avalanche will come down on us!!!"
Damu replying back with a puzzled look.
"Samu.. what's an avalanche?"
A snow avalanche falling down on the brothers and bringing them down off the mountain and bringing them to a rather much different area. Samu getting out of the snow and looking at Damu lifting up a boulder. Samu having his hand over his chin as he stroked his beard and spoke to Damu.
"Damu.. isn't it strange for that size of a boulder to be way out here..."
Samu started walking around and scanning the area as he discovers a staircase leading downward. Damu now being behind Samu and looking at Samu with a curious look.
The brothers heard chatter down below as Damu placed his ear on the snow and Samu looking at Damu and speaking to him.
"What the hell are you doing?"
Damu replying back in a whisper.
"Brother... the ground is speaking to me.."
Samu face palming himself and pulls his brother from the ground and brings him to a standing position.
"The voices is coming down this staircase.. let's go.. follow me.."
The brothers walking down the staircase in silent and slow footsteps as Damu kept whispering.
"Brother.. I'm scared.. what if a dragon is down there?"
"What if a monster is down there?"
"What if our parents are down there?"
"What if we found out that we were actually adopted?"
Samu placing his hand over Damu's mouth and whispering back to him.
"Shut the hell up.. I can't concentrate with your side chatter.."
The brothers finally making there way to the end of the staircase and Samu looking at the individuals in the room, along with the cauldron. He smells the unpleasant food and folds his arms across his chest. Damu on the other hand sits on the ground like a child and picks up a book and reads it upside down.
"Brother what is a slleps?
Samu responding back with a face palm.
"The books upside down.. and the word is spells.."
Based on the word alone and the scenery around this area, Samu only thought of one thing.. and that whoever is doing all of this work is a wizard.. as to who the wizard was in the room, he kept eyeing the old woman covered in her robe.
Damu rose to his feet and stood along side his brother as he left the book on the ground and Damu cracking his knuckles together. Samu speaking to all of the individuals in the room.
"Sorry for intruding.. my brother.. really is a special kind of Ogre.. we will be going.."

Verpa’s eyes widened as the wooden door to their private sanctum quickly fell to the ground, causing a layer of dust to fall to the ground after it, standing in its place was a tall giant of a man with strange hair that glimmered under the firelight. The ceiling was definitely not built for such an imposing figure, and Verpa felt a bit of fear running up his spine. Would this be the end of his lineage? Hundreds if not thousands of years of effort had been passed down to him, and now someone had found his abode and could very well be here to destroy it all. Had he been too careless in his endeavors? He stood for a moment, unable to find the words to say.
“Verpa, you didn’t tell me we were having company over for dinner!” the old woman said, giving the stranger a one toothed smile. “I am Pizizales,”
“I didn’t…” Verpa began, folding his hands in front of him, trying to remain calm. The stranger than apologized for barging in. At the very least, it didn’t seem like something someone who was here to kill them would say. But maybe that was what he wanted them to think.
“Oh don’t be silly dear, we love having company,” Pizizales chimed. Verpa gave her an uneasy look, but then shrugged. Before Verpa could say anything more the old woman had turned to grab another wooden bowl off of the shelf and poured a serving of the stew into the bowl. She shuffled towards the man, intending to hand him the soup, when a rumble from above could be heard. Verpa sprung forward, towards his mother, but then stopped as he heard footsteps coming from the corridor. When the two blue ogres emerged from behind the giant, Verpa’s mother let out a gasp and quickly handed the bowl of food towards the kagami. “Oh! More visitors, i’ll need to throw in another rabbit!”
“Ahem… welcome to our home,” Verpa said, bringing the attention back to himself as his mother moved to a small basket near the cauldron. She raised a small white snow rabbit out of the basket by it’s ears as it looked at her with a terrified look. With a knife she quickly cut it by the throat, a bit of blood speckling against her face. “We are not used to having company, I apologize for the mess,”
“It wouldn’t be messy if you put your spells away,” Pizizales chimed as she nonchalantly began to skin the rabbit. “It’ll be a bit before more stew is ready, we’ll have you boy’s fed in no time,”
Verpa glared at his mother. She had once been a ruthless bitch, and in her youth she was a frightful witch, these days though she was senile and he wondered if she could even remember much any more. His glance then turned to the blue creatures, he wasn’t sure what species they were. Perhaps they were some sort of demon?
“Well… what are your names?” Verpa asked the three strangers. He had to assume that they had come together, the odds of two groups wandering in could only be a fated encounter or something more bizarre.

Awakening That was a slightly funny expression on the young man as the door fell to the ground. He seemed to be looking at Emer in surprise and shock. However, the young man wasn't the one that approached Emer, holding out a small bowl of soup to him, was the one engaging him. A toothy grin was exchanged at the price of her name, as Emer looked down at the soups contents. Inside there was some meat and vegetables. His stomach nearly curled at the sight of meat, as it was poisonous to the Kagami, as their diet had always been fruit and vegetables.
Reaching out with a hand he shook it slightly as if to tell the woman no. As he did so, his cloak split revealing the badly damaged body underneath. All the bloody bandages that where there. And to top it off, the man seemed to be covered in scars. The most notable thing missing with his right arm, as there was nothing but a stump there. His dark blood red eyes seemed to scan the room, before resting back on the young male. He seemed to clear his throat, and welcome Emer. There was an emptiness in his voice as he spoke.
"I do not mind the mess... In fact it seems that I stumbled into another abode... I was curious to as if I'd find something I truly disliked here." He was referring to some saiyans, but the way his voice held itself. It sent a chill down through everyone including himself. As he was actually hoping to run into some down here. At least in thoughts and ideas. He didn't know what he could do if a real one was to pop up at the moment. However right now he was listening to the bickering of the two in front of him. However, suddenly two people fell down into the room behind Emer.
Turning around slightly, he saw two blue colored men. He hadn't seen anything like them before, as their bright blue skin seemed to stand out among the group currently assembled. The bigger one, seemed to be trying to read a book upside down, causing the brother to physically slap himself. Stating that it was upside down, and then apologizing for his brother. Causing Emer to tilt his head slightly, thing where starting to get crowded inside of this small area. However he didn't worry to well in most cases.
He heard the woman named Pizizzales mention needing to put on more, as he turned to the young man as he asked for their names. "I'm Emer... As for these two, you'll be lost just as much as me. I assumed they where acquaintances of yours." The tall Kagami said as he turned his attention back to the brothers, there was something strange about this whole situation, and he just couldn't put his finger on it. Meeting in a bizarre underground house, with people studying some witchcraft. It almost felt taboo in a way.
More than likely it truly was a bad omen. 'Emer, for now lets stick around... It doesn't seem that any of them are aggressive yet... This may provide us with more allies in the future, just keep yourself calm. I know crowds don't really sit well with ya.' His goddess speaking to him from within. At least she knew Emer, he was getting a bit antsy in the small room, with so many. But his mind seemed to calm down slightly at least, as well as the signs on his body relaxing slightly, probably bringing comfort to whomever was watching him.

Before Samu had turned away, he noticed the Verpa speaking to the three of them and with a simple cough, Samu replied back while folding his arms.
"I'm Samu, and he's Damu.. we are Ogres.. we come from the afterlife.. and we don't mind the mess.. you should see Damu's room..."
Samu taking his lean against one of the walls as he plants one of his foots on it. Damu having an angered expression as he cracks his knuckles in front of his brother as he responds back.
"Brother do you mean by that!"
Samu noticed Damu's veins growing out and extending outward from the body. Before Damu could go with his plan in causing a scene, Samu sending a powerful fist strike to his stomach, with his pump up transformation concealed to Damu. Damu dropping to the floor and aching in pain as the tension in the room fades away. Samu placing his hands in his pocket and speaks to two of them.
"I do apologize for his rude outburst.. all Ogres aren't like that.."
Samu walking back to Damu and lifting him up from his down state of holding his stomach. Damu walking over to the two of them and speaking to them in a sad tone of voice.
"Damu sorry, Damu no mean trouble.. Damu good.."
Samu entering Damu's body and the Ogres becoming one again. The Ogres taking a seat at the table as both of their heads next to one another with their own neck. Samu controlling the right side and Damu controlling the left. They were ready to eat and Damu showing it by his tongue sticking out so slightly and Samu sighing at Damu's rude manners.

When the tall young man refused her cooking, the old lady made a sad face, but quickly placed the bleeding rabbit corpse down on a counter to recover the bowl and slid it in front of the ogres. She was about to offer the man something else when her eyes caught the wounds and bandages that he was concealing beneath his cloak.
“Oh my, you are quite wounded,” Pizizzales cooed as she began grabbing things off of an upper shelf filled with different herbs. She found her hands on two jars, which she was able to pop open herself despite her frail look. She took out a mixture of a green herb and a bit of white flower petals that had been preserved, putting them into a small bowl where she began mashing them together with a flat object. Eventually a sticky pale green substance was formed, and she offered the bowl to the stranger. “It is just a cream that should help against infections… now about that arm... “
“Mother, no…” Verpa said, shifting uncomfortably. She had gotten too nice over the years, but she also was a bit crazy.
“A Rokurokubi demon would suffice, but they are hard to find… might be some in Fukurou,” the old woman said as if it were a casual thing. “Bring me one’s arm and i’ll be able to make you a new one,”
“That could work… I guess,” Verpa said, but he didn't necessarily want the whole room to know that they were skilled demonologists. “Anyways, welcome Emer, you are welcome to recover your wounds here. I do ask that you not share our location with others,”
Verpa turned his attention to the two ogres, who now had both the bowl that his mother had offered Emer and another bowl. They had fused together with one another, and Verpa looked at them with an interested intrigue. Ogres were from the beyond, the very place that Verpa was trying to open a gate to. Had an answer to his family's mission just stumbled in for dinner? Suddenly, Verpa seemed to get quite a bit more friendly.
“Hello, Samu and Damu! Enjoy your meal,” Verpa replied. “Just curious, if you are from the afterlife… how do you get here?”
It was a simple question, but the answer could be vital to his studies.
"Oh leave those boys alone, let them eat their dinner," the old witch said. Verpa frowned at her, had the senile old hag forgotten everything that they were working for?

Awakening Emer stood there for a moment as he glanced around the old dusty room. The old woman seeming to greet everyone at the same time, even going so far as to offer his own bowel to the ogres. When it came down to it, he had no clue as to what to make Samu and Damu out to be. They seemed to be good spirits in some regards.... However the one that took an instant interest in the blue men had been the young man. What did the woman call him? Verpa that's what it was. Emer remained quiet as he took in the situation.
Here he was somewhere underground, in a dusty old house, with a man squashing a purple flame. A woman cooking in a giant black cauldron, filling the enitre room with an exotic smell of cooked meat, vegetables and some herbs. However when Pizizzales spoke to him about getting a new arm, the young Kagami raised an eyebrow slightly, just what exactly was going on here? What was a Rokurokubi demon? Some weird mythological creatures that the humans had drawn up? Like the one they call god, or those they call angels? To be honest it made little sense to Emer.
However, he took the small green rub the woman had offered him. Looking down at it, the Kagami wasn't the most trusting person on the planet, but he also didn't just assume right out that everyone was trying to kill him. His one arm holding onto the small bowel, he placed the strange herbal remedy on the table beside him, just ass the smaller of the two, blue ogres, punched the larger one square in the abdomen. Causing Emer to blink for a moment, a similar situation long ago appeared in his mind. One that had been a fond memory.
However, his attention was grabbed by Verpa who seemed to be welcoming him. To recover his wounds here if need be. All at the small understanding that he wouldn't reveal where the two stayed. Truth be told that thought hadn't even crossed his mind. If they wished to be in secrecy, than who was he to ruin that? However when the two ogres fused together, named Samu and Damu, it surprised the young Kagami. He had never seen two beings fuse into one... Their heads sitting right next to each other, they seemed to both be enjoying the meal before them.
When Verpa mentioned the after life, Emer stiffened slightly, and a cold breeze could be felt coming from the Kagami. He remembered dying, he remember being stuck in Limbo forever... It wasn't the most pleasant feeling ever... Hell it definitely wasn't the most exciting in any way shape or form. He couldn't feel anything, he couldn't see anything, couldn't smell anything. All he had was his own thoughts, his own warmth couldn't even be felt. That place was a nightmare for him, only his thoughts rang out during that time, yet with no one to hear them but him... Slowly drove the young Kagami insane in his time stuck there.
Shaking his head to clear those thoughts, Emer noticed something on the ground that caught his eyes. Reaching down, it was a book tilted vengeance. Dusting the book off with his hand, it was in a weird cryptic text. The words inside as he flipped through it was different as well. Instead of normal letters that most humans read, it was in pictures almost, as if it was playing out a scene before him. Though even without having prior knowledge of the things before him, he began to guess aloud. "The king... fallen from grace and banished... Swore his eternal vengeance against those that had rallied against him. Claiming to vow his return... in the years to come... Promising a great destruction, and revenge against the families of those that had betrayed him..."

The brothers chowed down on their meal. Damu hate like a dog with no manners and slurped loudly, while Samu took his time enjoying the meal. Pieces of meat and veggies latched onto Damu's beard and Samu just felt disgusted as he left the body and scooted his seat away from him. Before Samu could continue his meal, Verpa approached the brothers and giving a weird expression and Samu deciphering this by his tone of voice. Samu heard his question and decided to let him know the truth. A smile appeared on Samu and a respond was given after.
"There is only one way to get there.. and that was is through Death... however.. if you are an Ogre, we are born in the Afterlife.. which we are given special privileges to go to Otherworld and the living realm.. Damu over here accidentally sent us here.. and now we are stuck here until we can build enough strength to return.."
Samu then turned to look at Emer after finishing his meal. Damu had already finished his meal and decided to take a nap on the floor near the books. Samu began speaking to Emer as he walked over to him.
"Revenge is never the right way to go about things.. what would of you done if you were put in the King's position?"
Samu chuckled as he attempted to pat Emer's shoulder and took his walk over to the old woman. He had a kind smile on his face as he spoke to her.
"Thank you for the food, my brother and I enjoyed it very much. However, we must be going.. we are things we must do.."
Samu took his walk over to his brother, who immediately had woken up due to hearing the footsteps coming closer to him. Damu rose to his feet and Samu speaking to him with a smile.
"We are going Damu.."
Dumu nodded and walked over to the old woman with a smile as he spoke to her.
"Thank you for the food, it was lovely, Damu full!"
Damu lightly patted her head and walked away as the brothers said there goodbyes through a wave, and attempted to leave.

"Oh goodness, you must think I am trying to poison you,” the old woman said with a cackle that soon turned into a small coughing fit, she thumped her wrinkled old fist against her chest, seemingly amused by the idea. She didn’t didn’t seem insistent though, turning back to the rabbit she had butchered and chopping it into chunks to prepare more food.
Verpa realized that the ogres had eaten his share, but he was never a big eater as it was anyways. He watched his mother carefully, she wasn’t usually this stable. Eventually he had turned back towards the ogres to ask them about their abilities and origin, but found his gaze turn toward the mysterious wounded man, feeling a small draft coming from his general direction. Verpa convinced himself it was just a draft, the ogres probably didn’t close the door upstairs. He turned his attention back towards them, taking in their answer.
The smarter of the two ogres seemed to indicate in his tone that their was only one way for mortals to see the afterlife, an answer that did not satisfy Verpa, though he did his best not to indicate his displeasure. They explained that only ogres could perform such feats to move back and forth… and he immediately wanted nothing more than to dissect them and see if he could figure out how they worked. He wasn’t sure if ogres were demons, but he was sure that years of demonology would be enough for him to understand the supernatural creatures and perhaps one day harness their powers.
“Well… when you do decide to return to the afterlife, i’d love to witness your departure, purely for academic reasons of course,” Verpa said, before turning to hear familiar words emanating from the man whose hair changed with the light. He found himself completely distracted and stunned as he listened to the man read from one of the three sacred texts of the Karasu clan. Its secrets were written in incantations upon the page of the book, and to his knowledge only members of his clan could decipher the codes written with demonic magic. There were other ways the spells could be unlocked to reveal the contents, such as demonic blood or even being of a greater evil, but Verpa had never seen such a thing occur.
Before he could respond, the ogres seemed to rush away in a hurried leave, thanking them for their patronage. Normally, Verpa would have stopped them, or at least tried. They were a catch of the day, and willing or not they could be of great use to his studies. He found himself distracted though as they walked out of the door, by the sound of his mother’s voice changing shortly after the ogres departed.
“The herald has come,” Pizizales spoke, her voice seeming to change to a much more serious tone, the precious grandma routine fading from her voice. “The return is upon us Verpa, you know what this means,”
Verpa glanced at his mother in disbelief. He had always been a skeptic, and his mother had often been the opposite.
“No, we don’t know that for sure,” Verpa said sternly, talking to his mother as if Emer were not in the room. He turned his glance towards the alien stranger, unsure of what to make of it. Their was some old legend in a text that was disputed among his dying clan, some had said that the return of the king would be signaled by a herald… but the texts that stated this themselves were lost when the majority of the clan was killed eight generations ago, their home upon the peaks of the north brought to ruin by the people of earth who sought to bring them to justice.
“Emer,” Verpa began. “Please… tell us a bit about yourself…”
Emer if you don't wanna roll with the herald thing, the old lady can be wrong xD

Awakening Emer stood there for a moment, listening to the old woman cackle. Only for her to start laughing after a little bit. However, when the blue ogres walked over towards him, the smaller one began to ask him a question. However he wouldn't get the time to answer, as they seemed to be leaving. However, he didn't seem to press or ask any questions from the two. Instead he looked back down at the book in his hand. Turning the pages slightly, reading through them. At least piecing as much as he could of the pictures within it together. It was a strange contraption.
Though, as soon as he had finished reading the passage from before, he heard the old woman talk about something along the lines of a herald. Tilting his head slightly, humans used strange words at times. However, she seemed to lose her peaceful grandmother look. And turned into looking like an actual witch. As she had a serious look upon her, as the young male turned to looked towards her. He seemed to have a bit of disbelief on his face. As if he couldn't believe what the woman had just said. Emer was about to pipe in but the male spoke again.
He spoke with a stern voice, as if he was telling the smaller woman, that she didn't know that for a fact. However, Emer seemed to be lost slightly within this place. That's when Irith began to laugh within his head. It seemed that she had been amused by these two. And she had been surprised that Emer kept his cool for as long as he could. His eyes gazing around the room some more. Noticing that the more attention he paid to this place, it seemed like some ritual area... One in which had caused him a little bit of discomfort.
However, Verpa turned back towards Emer, asking a simple question to tell him about himself. He started to reply, but it seemed that Irith had different plans. As Emer's normally blood red eyes, turned to a soft blue, and instead of the gruff deep voice from earlier. A soft calm one came out, no that wasn't the only thing about it. The voice belonged to a woman, and it was as if it was a mother speaking to some children. It had a warmth that flooded throughout the room, enticing everyone within the place.
"Well, Emer it seems you've stumbled upon an interesting group this time around.... Haha where's my manners, I'm Irith... The goddess living withing the man you're speaking to. Be careful, he has a bit of a bite to him. However, if you do some how make friends with this brute, he does seem to take care of those he takes in. Shh, don't let him know anything I've told ya thus far." Suddenly Emer's eyes flashed back to the deep red they had been. He had no clue Irith had just taken control of him again. As he was in thought as to how to respond.
"Well... I'm Emer... As I've already told you. I was a Kagami slave held by the saiyans... I fought every day for my freedom, even going so far as to kill those that would dare oppose me in my quest.... I have been tortured, I have been beaten, I've died... I've had everyone around me destroy me, and break me down. Even attempting to kill me..." His words where ice cold as he looked at the two of them. They where humans right? He had seen no signs of them being saiyans... So he didn't need to hide anything right?
"My goal... to free my people. And Mass murder the filthy monkey's that keep them as slaves. Either for doing household chores, fighting... Or even going so far as to simply just use them as breeding stations." His eyes staying locked on the two in front of him.

Verpa looked upon Emer with curiosity as he watched his eyes change from a deep red into a soft blue. Verpa had been much the same, his eyes red upon use of demonic magic but otherwise a pale blue as cold as the treacherous zone of earth that he made his home. For a moment he thought that Emer might have been performing the same sort of magic in reverse, but it was different. His voice suddenly changed from it’s normal masculinity into that of a soft spoken woman. The assumed entity that had possessed his body introduced herself as Irith, explaining that she was a divine being. Verpa held his tongue, the being warned that Emer could have a temper. What he was more worried about at this point was that the being itself would be in conflict with the deity that he served himself. He would have to be careful with what he said going forward. Pizizales, however, did not seem to share the same sentiment, returning to her senile old self.
“Hello, Irith!” the old hag said with a friendly wave, although by the time she had spoken the man’s eyes were in the middle of transitioning back into a red color. It was possible that he wouldn’t have heard this, depending on how disorienting te transition was. She waited for a moment, but then Emer began to explain himself and the old woman backed away a bit to begin collecting the dishes that the ogres had sullied.
Verpa listened carefully to Emer’s words. The name Kagami ringing something of a bell. If he had recalled correctly, he had heard of a member of the Blue Banner’s KHAOS unit that hailed from the race. He had never met her personally, but had gone out of his way to know of as many blue banner members as he could to protect his cover. But he hadn’t been aware that saiyans held slaves, though he wasn’t overly surprised by the revelation. He could feel a darkness in Emer as he spoke of freeing his people, perhaps a noble intention that would lead him down a path of vengeance. In his mind, he recounted his own experience with the saiyans. He had owned a museum in the North Capitol that he had to take an insurance policy out on when realigner red attacked the city, and shortly after getting his museum repaired the saiyans came and wrecked everything again, and the insurance company went bankrupt. Needless to say, he wasn’t a fan of the race himself, although for somewhat more petty reasons.
“I lost much in the saiyan invasion. I was a curator of a museum, where I held many priceless artifacts,” Verpa explained. “While I can’t imagine something as terrible as slavery, I imagine that was the fate they had intended for us here on earth,”
Verpa had seen his opportunity to make an ally that seemed to be quite powerful, and who also seemed to have the favour of some sort of deity. The question was if he could convince both the diety and the man that he was friendly. He wasn’t convinced that revealing his true mission, to open up the gates of hell, would be quite a good idea, at the moment at least.
“Freeing your people, what would it take?” Verpa asked. “What would stop them from being enslaved again?”
It was a simple question, but perhaps not as open ended as it seemed. Emer
