It had been quiet since his last encounter with the strange Alien out in the frozen wastes of the north. He had felt the sting of defeat that day and his arm still ached where it had broken from the impact with the humanoids armour...although he suspected that even under its armour his limb would have been defeated, the creature had hidden a tremendous amount of power when it had faced him and the other Alien with the black hair. Despite their best efforts they had failed to even slow it down and had retreated to lick their wounds when the white skinned creature had declared the fight over.
So far he had no idea if the other had recovered fully but the Demon knew it had taken him a good long time for the wounds to heal to get him back into place so that he no longer felt any pain when used his arm in training. It had limited what he had been able to and frustration had mounted until he had almost broken the bones in it again striking one of the stone mannequins that litter the old training yard in the ruined temple. It had taken time but the arm had healed properly and soon the impacts that had once caused him pain now were nothing more than a dull memory from a battle lost. It would be with him forever but he would learn from it with time.
He’d cleared the area in the ruins only days before, training daily in the cold quiet stone surrounds, recovering the skills he had lost so long ago and letting his mind trail back where he had once been surrounded by others of his kind. He’d lost himself in the past for days, training...sparring...fighting...till the rumble of thunder over the mountains brought him back to the real world…
Alakaz was airborne in the storm, letting the winds toss him about and take him where they wanted, fighting against the winds when they threatened to send him tumbling head over heels or dash him against a mountain side till finally he was high above the frozen wastes once more, away from his mountain home, the eye of the storm catching up with him as everything became still, no breeze reaching him in that calm centre as he floated above the ground, watching the winds disperse in the distance to leave him all alone with his thoughts for the moment, eyes closing as he enjoyed the stillness once more after the raging of the storm.
He knew the calm would not last, that the storm would catch up with him eventually but for now the red haired Demon could see all around him for some miles, the eye being so vast across he couldn’t feel the effects of the winds out on the edges, the blinding snow giving way to a brilliant blue sky and s un that shone down over the quiet land below, buried beneath a blanket of fresh snow...

It was his time for a breather, a visit to an ally could be what he succumbed to as a desire to which lead him into these dangerous mountain tops. Unsure they even occupied the area, Levlidian knew it'd be a glorious place to start and a smidgeon of control practice wasn't something he'd pass up so eagerly. A storm circumnavigated the area in which he soared, blood red ki swelled about him in a controlled manner, something he'd been practising on and off for some time.
The storm had passed through whilst Levlidian rode the winds as he'd always done, eyes drawn closed to the notion of control and allowing his Ki to run wild whilst he ventured on into the misty mountains, coiling tendrils snared his bastion figure and span the Saiyan and yet he strode for the effect of gliding amongst the gods that saw him ventured after his demise. Still, beneath it all lay an energy that sparked excitement and thus his eyes spread once more to direct his trajectory. snow gathered upon his mane, a long the length of his narrow jaw and he descended into the sunlight. There it was, just ahead and as he drew closer his blood boiled with exhilaration.
Drawing to a halt before the unknown entity, the young saiyan couldn't help but boast his usual bravao and fold his arms to a weft of flesh and dark cloth. "If I were a betting man, I'd say you were waiting for something," he scoffed and his black Gi fluttered in the oncoming breeze. It had been a long while since he'd seen his friend, however, it could wait for one more interesting meeting between beings, surely.
The days alone, hidden within the mountains and fending demons both mental and physical alike had done nothing for his swelling pride, power had swollen in him and how he begged to let it loose; however the notion had to wait. Obsidian eyes burrowed into the onlookers and a small, smarmy grin bloomed about his tanned lips.

The quietness of the storm's eye had a been a strange relief from the battering of the hurricane force winds that had assaulted him when he had first taken flight, forcing him to fight as it buffeted him this way and that, working to wrench him from the skies but now here...in the centre of that swirling mass he had a found a strange peace. The Demon smirked to himself as he floated effortlessly in the middle of wide centre, his own eyes closed as he took in the serenity of the area and the lack of sounds around him...not even bird song reached here, this high above the earth's surface in the heart of a storm. It had seemed to strange to him after so long trapped that he always found himself drifting back to the teachings he had been brought into the world with the first time, the teachings that had been beaten into him and the others all those years ago but now he found himself pulling on those lessons more and more to find the peace then held his sanity in check. Every moment of violence, every drop of blood spilt felt as though it pulled the monster inside closer to the surface, constantly threatening to claim him and take away what separated Alakaz from a mindless murderous beast. The calm allowed him to think...to find himself… And now it was being disturbed once more… While he couldn’t sense anything until the man...because it was a male voice that disturbed him...he had heard the rustle of cloth as he pulled himself to a stop in front of the Demon. Alakaz held his hands behind his back, eyes still closed as his chest rose and fell slowly with every steady rhythmic breath, letting the man speak in that cocky arrogant tone that seemed to be popular amongst all the people of earth he had met to date...letting him finish before he opened his own eyes to gaze into the obsidian orbs of the man before him. He looked human...but then so had several others he had met so far since his awakening so one could never be too sure...perhaps he was one of those Saiyan’s he had met before...or something entirely different. It was in the Demon’s mind an odd question to ask. Why would one choose the centre of a violent storm, high above the ground as a place to meet with someone? There were easier place to reach and await a guest but the man did have a point...as the red haired Demon was quickly learning...that in a world where beings had strange power and could fly why would you not choose a storm as a place to meet privately. Alakaz’s red eyes simmered gently as he looked the man before him over...letting his gaze run slowly, nothing rushed about his movement, his arms unfolding from behind him as the male in front of him folded his, the rustle of Gi’s almost the only sound between them as the silence stretched out, the tanned warrior considering his answer before speaking, his voice deep and gravelly in the stillness of the clear skies. He still hadn’t liked the man's tone... “That is a bet you would lose in that case...i did not seek to meet with anyone...you however seem to have sought me out despite the storm…why?” Words would not hurt for now, if the man wish violence then the Demon Alakaz would be happy to return it but for the moment he strained to remain calm, to hold the monster inside for a little longer... It wasn't a question he hadn't forseen, honestly it was usually the first to coil from the lips of his converse choices and with a snort, the beast tilted his head to garner the creature before him with a lowered set of obsidian orbs; the burning, rampant flames buried within betrayed much but his tone remained as cocky as it had during the birth of it at the beginning of this conversation. The spines of his shaggy mane sloped with gravity's inviting tug and thus came his voice once more; "You felt strong, I was curious as we Saiyan's usually are. Unless of course, my odd little friend, you're not the sort to venture out for combat,"
It didn't seem likely that this one wasn't, the way he held himself, the retort and the fact the desolate ground beneath them boasted a destruction spied only on fields of battle. Yes, Levlidian had garnered a brief summary from the little details he merited to fit the assumption he provided, but a wary hue donned the mans visage. Something wasn't feeling quite right, settled in the mirth of his abdomen clawed that sensation, the sensation that he'd be in a level of trouble if he felled the guard he wore just to court with fate again. He'd met one like this one before, an energy so black it jump started his adrenaline with the least amount of effort and a raw savagery.
Again, he scanned those red eyes, "Your energy, it's almost like staring into a putrid, dank dungeon, I've met people like you before. It only ever boasts trouble and as a Warrior of Earth; perhaps its my new found duty to be sure you hold no ill will toward my adopted home," Honour flourished in every word and his tone seemed to gallivant with it. "If you were a threat, I'm afraid I'm going to have to find out how big that threat is," his grin reemerged, "I'm not here to kill you, that level of power you own alone is reason enough to keep you breathing. You're a challenge I'd happily have again,"
Unbeknown to the demon, Levlidian harnessed his own Monster, be he a man of honour or not; every Warrior saw his fair share of carnage and every Warrior, every -true Warrior- carried a blood lust that eventually; developed a mind all of its own. The winds drew a serpentine coil of their clothing once more, Levlidian's head righted once more and he merely awaited the response as tension bled between them like an open wound gouged by a serrated blade.

Alakaz smirked as the Saiyan spoke of an interest in the strength of his power and the mention of a little friend...the Demon was not a small creature by any means, layers of thick corded muscle on a stout frame and yet this man before him spoke as if belittling him with such words. His power was constant, nothing hidden and all on show, he knew no other way but to show his whole and leave it raw for everyone to see. It was much a part of him as were his skin and bones. It irked the Demon, the edge of his smile twitching, eyes boring into the orbs that stared back at him that he would be spoken to like this...again the manners of strangers seemed to be worth little. The stillness in the air was only broken by their voices and the quiet rustling of their robes as they shifted their positions, eyeing each other warily across the distance between them. The Demon watched as his opposite floated in the air, the fingers of one hand reflexively opening and closing down at his side as the tension drew on...watching as the man's expression changed, only subtly...but it was there, behind that mask he wore, behind the bravado and cockiness, in the way his eyes held those of Alakaz, unblinking and unbowed by his presence. He felt something different that put him on edge. “A warrior of Earth? You are not even Human yet you shoulder responsibility for this planet? What makes you think there are any here worth saving...they need to shown the path.” Alakaz chuckled, a deep rumbling that rolled from his gut to his lips and through the distance between the two warriors when the other warriors grin slid back onto his lips after an open challenge...his sharp teeth glinting in the light from the clear sky overhead...the edges of the storm still a ways off from them. The winds would reach them soon enough but there was plenty of time for this contest that had all but been requested by the new comer. “A test then...a proof of worth...your strength against mine until the storms hits once more.” He drew back from the Saiyan, the fist of one hand pressed into the palm of the other...pushing out in front of him as he bowed slightly, eyes never leaving his now opponent. There was no explosion of energy, no flaring of light, there was no power hidden in the Demon he was simply there in honest truth. A simple parting before a bow of respect to this stranger out in the middle of nowhere was all that passed between them in those moments, gazes held, muscles loosening and tensing unconsciously as both prepared themselves for what they would be coming next. He drew a breath and exhaled, calming himself, holding back the monsters that wished to be released in that moment...but now was not the time for them to take hold...an untested adversary was not the person to lose control against, he knew this first hand, and as thick as many believed his skull to be he was slowly learning this fact. Time passed between the moments as he allowed his opponent time to collect himself before bursting forwards to close the distance, a flurry of strikes flying forth, punches...knees...elbows...fast and up close...but surprisingly light and with very little real force behind them...like a boxer testing his jab... "I chose them for my own reasons," he answered, a blunt and short replay of his answer to the often asked question, the Saiyan blood that pumped through his figure began to claw at him, suddenly his prode swelled and swallowed his Honourable notion of protection for a blood lust as old as time itself.
The tension was brittle just as the ice might betray pressed to a sheet of steel, deep set orbs of sunken obsidian remain locked about this physical emissary of macabre and his fingers soon coil into a thick, meaty pair of fists. Even this one offered a modicum of respect and Levlidian matched it with a short bow of his spined crown. Within the reflective surface of the first fighters eyes one could derive the rising animal or cruelty and in up taking his well practised stance; Levlidian committed to this on coming battle. Just as the monster vented his intentions he was upon the youthful Saiyan, the very power unnoticeable at distance now swept about the Demons opponent, eyes widening, levlidian could feel the murderous intent squeezing at his very lungs and yet the fear was short lived.
With the steady beating of a heart filling Levlidian's ears, his very blood singing to the dance of death and a deep boom filled the scene these two fighters occupied. Within his right palm sat the Demon's first attempt, squeezing the knuckles angrily, the second drew in at speed catching his Alien opponent off guard. Another boom filled the air but with a swerve of his back, relinquishing the first fist, Levlidian whipped his forearm out like a shield followed by his knee and then the other forearm. All the motions set about a blur of an exchange of attack upon defense, the unstoppable force met the immovable object in more than a figurative way.
from the feel of those that struck and those he protected against, he couldn't feel the same murderous intent within his limbs as Lev' saw in the opponents eyes and it garnered a strange grin about his lips, finally a heel flexed against his jaw sending the Saiyan back a foot or two before the air about him flared with ki to pause the movement. Tilting his struck head back, a thick pearl of crimson trailing the crevice of his lower lip and he snarled. Without an invitation, the offensive was up taken by this bestial warrior. About him swamped the very ki he'd summoned before, an outwardly expelling weave of a blood red inferno courted the air and he adjusted his trajectory before tearing back into the fray.
Blow after blow was mirrored back at the Demon, speed orientated, mock like jabs and curving snaps of his thighs saw him indulge upon Alakaz as he had done him not moments ago. Testing the emissary of rage for the exact power to which he faced whilst all the while grinning sadistically as though the very aura of of his opponent traded the Honourable Warrior in for the Honourable Savage.

The blows traded between the two combatants were fast and light, blurring in the eye at speeds that they shouldn't have been able to maintain nevermind reach...beyond what any ‘normal’ member of any of the multitude of species that called this planet home now should be able to achieve. Strike, block, dodge, strike...the pattern repeated time and time again with every variation subtly different than the one before, ever changing to find the gap that would give one or the other the upper hand in this contest of strength and speed. The Demon may have harboured a murderous intent inside but for now it was kept in check as his body moved and reacted to the various angles of attack and defense he was forced into by this Saiyan’s assault. It brought a smirk to his lips and a gleam to his crimson eyes as he watched his opposite number return his strikes with the same speed, precision and lack of killing force that he had initially started with. Here was an opponent that enjoyed the thrill of the fight, the contest between two equals and the drawn out exhilaration of the near victory in a sudden moments notice. The grin on the man's face and the look in his eye told him almost as much as the man's movements and strikes did. He was confident and proud...but there was something else in him that threatened to escape...carried by the snarl he released on his own offensive against Alakaz. Something he had felt before and knew more than a little about. It threatened to escape every time he was pushed down, to take control and fight back when he knew it would only lead to defeat. It dawned on him and he was joyful. Theirs auras fought their own battle around them, ever forcing to encroach on the open space between them, to push back when quelled as if they lived and breathed as their own separate beings instead of extensions of the fighters inner strength. The red haired Demon laughed loudly as they fought...little more than a sparring contest for the moment before skipping back through the air to separate them by several feet...rolling his shoulders and shaking off his arms...wrists rolling smoothly at the end of his muscled forearms. The Ki around each of them had flared somewhat as the speed of their strikes had increased rapidly till they were light against the background of the storm like beacons for lost ships at sea...but now Alakaz allowed his to simmer, fading a little with a grin on his lips...eyes focused on the orbs in the face of this challenger. They bored into each other with an intensity that threatened to quieten the storm around them...the silence returning after the rain of blows that had preceded it had thundered through the sky “You fight well, it's been a long time since i met a skilled opponent as you” He drifted slowly round his opponent, never closing the distance, as if blown by winds that didn’t exist in the eye of this vast storm, the edges a whirlwind of gusts and rain that still gave them plenty of time to understand each other better. His heart pounded in his chest and the sound of blood rushed through his ears as he breathed in deep, sucking in lungs full of clear air, feeling alive...more than he had in weeks of waiting around and training. This was what he lived for and his monster roared for it, pushing him ever onwards. Knowledge he gained in the Monastery of his past was all well and good but this was his purpose...this is how they had raised him and here there were no lies to be told. “Hold back at your own peril now...we have said our greetings and know where we stand better than any words could explain...let me see your demon if you dare.” The smirk vanished and he exploded forwards, right knee hammering upwards towards the Saiyan’s sternum, the burst of power holding nothing back now, everything the Demon could muster pulled from inside to fight. “Defend yourself!” Thread PL: 19,420 WC: 701 TWC: 2411 Levlidian

"Consider myself holding nothing in reserve," he roared, through the mas sof matter between his ears did pulse the rush of blood and a thunderous heart beat. The young Saiyan had felt nothing like it in all his years, the savagery this monster attributed to drew from him his own; like a summoner created a beast from the earth he could feel himself sinking into that inner Oozaru's instincts. "I will simply defend, I seek victory!" came the sudden roar.
The tone shifted all of a sudden as the demon drew backwards from the onslaught they'd shared in, the scene devolved into one that radiated with the brutality to come and it was as though the universe begged for it. Drawing himself low as the monsters adversed to assault him with the solid mass that was his knee; before his attack developed the length of his forearm detracting the trajectory entirely as about them, the molecules burst with the sound waves venting like a crack of thunder. The strain was obvious in his limbs but Levlidian stood firm, the quivering, flexing muscles of his bastion flared as he'd extinguish the attack's devastation with his own determination. Thousands of years of Saiyan heritage pumped within him, Warriors that knew no equal in their tactics nor detrimental styles, it was there he sought to deliver his own fist unto the chest of his opponent.
Beyond the battle cried a storm in its infancy, clouds correlated with one another and sang with the strong winds that bound it like a chain. Even here, upon this planet its life force the level of destructive force these fighters represented and swept about its own defense to negate them. However, this invasion of the universe still needed time to evolve into a full fledged storm and thus the pair owuld continue un hindered for now. greyness swallowed the blue, clouds merged and the gentle patter of rain began to fill the air.
It was a monstrous action, their exchange turning heated and pumping the severity they both shared. Levlidian himself comprehended nothing but the animal that clawed its way to the surface, peeling back his flesh and replacing the Saiyan once persistently there; a new monster crept into the show, this monstrosity cried out for blood, for battle and as they continued hindered by nothing but their opponents skill; it was a truly terrifying battle. "Fight harder," he commanded, "When I beat you I want no easy end to this,"
