THE PUN-DERGROUND i am proud of this title pun for once
There was a lot of commotion in Ginger Town today. People were flocking to go see... something. Capper had stopped in the town to refill the Aurora- his spaceship's- gas tank, but it seemed like there was quite the ruckus going on inside the island town. Curious as ever, Capper decided to take a chance and see just what was going on. He was only going to be on Earth for a few more weeks, and wanted to see everything the planet had to offer- dangerous or not. Parking his ship in an abandoned parking lot, Capper strutted out of the vessel, turning around and clicking a button on his keys to lock the spacecraft. Briefly waving back to his Plexbits inside the large starship, Capper turned around and began to head off to go on his own little adventure- what was everyone fussing about here?
Following the crowd, Capper trotted behind several humans, all heading to the same location. Picking up a newspaper on his merry way, Capper looked at the gray paper with it's faded black letters, reading up to see what had happened in the town. Apparently a large catacomb system had been discovered beneath the town! It was hundreds of years old, but nobody who went in ever came out alive, or sane enough to tell the tale. The very few that came out of the underground graveyard were scarred for life, becoming insane and only mumbling and shaking in response to their endeavor underground. Wow. Reading on, Capper found that many speculated the system to be haunted by the souls that were lost there. Some people said that the walls were made of human bone in the deepest reaches of the chamber! Folding the paper up and sliding it into his new brown backpack, Capper ran forwards, following the address listed in the paper. The paper mentioned that people were looking for brave souls to travel the catacomb and record their findings. Capper was weak, but he had seen some real shit on his time back at Vegeta. It was hard to rattle him and his immense, newfound curiosity for the Earth! Squeezing his way through a tight crowd near the listed address, Capper stopped near an old well. The bottom of it could not be seen- the once shallow wooden bottom at the bottom of the water reservoir had collapsed, revealing a iron ladder descending into darkness. Many people backed away from the well, eyeing the curious saiyan that approached the hole leading to hell so readily. Whispering was heard bwteeen the Earthlings as they looked at Capper, who promptly turned to them with an unamused expression. "Oh, come on. You're all scared of this? This is child's play compared to what I've seen, Earthlings!" The saiyan spoke, sitting on the edge of the well. The town resident's whispers grew, causing the saiyan to fold his arms and eye the group. "You want people to go investigate this supposed hellhole, right? Well, I'm your saiyan for the job!" Capper spoke proudly, moving a fist over his heart, a confident smile on his face. He, a Solar Saiyan, endured Earth for over a year. There was nothing he couldn't overcome! Folding his arms again and loweing his eyelids, Capper spoke again with a bored roll of his eyes. "Now if some of you could man up, tighten your stockings, and get over here and join me, that would be greeeeat." Capper eyed the group, seeing if anyone would come forward. Not all of this town's population were a bunch of pansies, right?

(Thread PL: 6033) (KP: 3/3) 921 walked into a town, intrigued but also a bit frightened. He had heard yelling coming from this town, and yet no one appeared to be there, at least from his perspective. He ran in, beginning to speak himself "Hello? Is anyone here?" "No one's over here I'm afraid." Came a voice from the porch of a house "Everybody's gone to the centre of the town, someone's found an ancient crypt underneath a well, and now everyone wants to get their hands on what's inside. If you're looking for people, you best set off that way." The voice said. Looking over, 921 saw that it came from an elderly man, short and bald but with a long grey beard. "Interesting... I think I shall head over there, thank you." He said, beginning to walk to the direction the old man had said to go. The cyborg saw a large crowd of people, huddled around a well. He heard a person next to the well begin to talk, asking if anyone would be willing to come with him down the well. "I believe," 921 said, walking over towards the well "That I would like to come as well."

Ginger Town.... the town Duri was flying over. It had quite a crowd today, and Duri would be curious of what was going on. Apparently there was a large crowd headed in the same direction. Duri would smirk, and could easily kill them all, but he'd rather not cause trouble... yet. ["Well maybe I should follow them?"] Duri would then start hovering above the crowd, catching some of the populations attention. Commotion would start in the crowd, as Duri would be wearing his armor today. He was sure the earthlings would be rattled of someone in this style of armor.
The crowd would surround a well, with no water in it, revealing a iron ladder. Duri looked over in it and it had nothing but darkness in it. ["I wonder whats down there..."] All of a sudden, the crowd would start backing back. He would see a small what seemed to be a saiyan approaching the well. He watched as the small saiyan turned to them. "Oh, come on. You're all scared of this? This is child's play compared to what I've seen, Earthlings!" He watched as the small saiyan sit on the well and fold his arms. "You want people to go investigate this supposed hellhole, right? Well, I'm your saiyan for the job!" Duri would smile a bit, the small saiyan would be putting on a little show. He watched as the small saiyan put a fist over his chest, and then folded his arm back. The small saiyan would speak yet again. "Now if some of you could man up, tighten your stockings, and get over here and join me, that would be greeeeat." ["Smart ass."] Duri would float down in front of the small saiyan, and would talk in a deep voice with his arm crossed. "Yo."

Gekido had been told by his Shelly dan that he needed to get to know the people of earth so that what he was going to do, he had arrived in a small town, which he heard was called Ginger town to get to know the people of earth. He had only been to a couple of towns afterall, he was going to be here for awhile and koldar had seem to just poof out of existence. Perhaps, he had to deal with something but for now it seemed he was just going to have to find something to do, and it seemed he found what he was looking for. A large crowd had gathered around a small saiyan child, who was about to head into some hole of some type? He had no idea what he was doing, like why would he want to adventure.
"Seems were about to take a trip to the underground." he said as he walked forward looking at the Duri, it seemed he was another saiyan the heran looking him up and down, he was not sure what he wanted to say but he looked quite well built, perhaps he was a fighter for the sse or maybe just a saiyan allied with earth he really had no idea. He also looked at the android who was joining, of course he didn't know he was an android but he didn't look normal either, he just at this point assumed everyone who didn't look normal was an android, he was probley an android racist but whatever, he hated those hunks of bolts anyway. "Yo names Gekido guess i'll join on your little adventure." He said raising his arm as he began to stretch, he wanted to see where this would go.

Jormungandr hummed softly as she strolled through Ginger Town. She was curious about the lack of people, but after a moment's contemplation she decided it didn't really matter all that much. So she wandered her way around the town until she heard voices in the distance. She paused for a moment before discerning that they were coming from the center of the town. When she went to investigate, she saw Capper, talking about how he was going to go down into the well, which was apparently a hellhole. He asked if anyone was going to join him, and two people stepped forward, while third person descended from above. She frowned, as this third person seemed familiar. She pondered this for several moments before remembering her fights in the desert. He was the first person she had encountered on that adventure, and the weakest, though he seemed to have gotten a good bit stronger. She approached the group, grinning. "hey Capper! what's this all about?"

KEY "Capper's Normal Dialogue" 'Capper's Telepathy' 'Capper's Thoughts'
THE PUN-DERGROUND
So the town was not compromised of cowards. Tilting his head, Capper examined the forces that were willing to aid him. There was an android, or at least, that's what Capper preumed #921 was with all those metal bits and armor on him. His power was an average six thousand and thirty three. Nothing too special, but a mechanical ally would be of assistance. Maybe he sported night vision or had some extra perks to help navigate the maze below? Next up was another saiyan! Capper always enjoyed the presence of more of his brethren on Earth- the earthly saiyans seemed to be more docile than those on Vegeta. Capper was not sure if this man was aligned with the SSE or not, though. His power was more than twice that of the android's, clocking in at thirteen thousand, seven hundred, and seventy four. Nice. Third came... a Heran? Blue skin, orange hair, super buff- yup, a Heran. Brechains couldn't be that ripped. Capper was no stranger to the well-known brutality and strength to back it up. His power was not very impressive- a measly three thousand, five hundred, and sixty four. Then again, Capper was familiar with Ki suppression and the use of training weights... Fourth was- oh! "Jormungandr!" Capper's expression rose to a smile when he saw his close friend. If it weren't for her, he wouldn't be here right now, to be honest. Her strength was less than last time, namely because the Mayako Star had gone back into hiding. Doing the math, Capper counted that they all had a combined base power of thirty-two thousand, nine hundred, and forty seven. Not bad, not bad.
Standing up tall and folding his arms behind the back, Capper stood percariously on the ledge of the well, clearing his throat before speaking in a professional tone- well, as professional as he could get with his high-pitched voice. "Anyways! It is a pleasure to be at your service. It is relieving to know this town is not made entirely of cowards." He spoke, closing his eyes and standing tall and proud on the edge of the well, not faltering. "I am Capper Hofferson, for those of you who do not know. Technician and Mechanic of the Saiyan Solar Empire, at your service. And you two are?" He spoke, looking over to Duri and #921. The two had not given their identifications yet. If they were all going in this together, they would have to at least know their names. Capper was the brains of the newfound exploration squad in his mind, and the leader of the group! Nobody could say otherwise to the small saiyan now. "So. Mission briefing- we found a hole. We're going down it." Capper spoke buntly, pointing down the deep well. His voice echoed down the deep cavern, with no bottom in sight. That was all he had to say, really... But then he remembered the newspaper in his pocket. "Oh, and this." Capper spoke, pulling the rolled up paper out and unfolding it, tossing it over on the ground in front of his "followers."
Inside the newspaper that just red, a strange tale was told. People went insane after visiting the catacomb. Some thought it was haunted. Some said the walls in the deepest reaches were made of human bones and skulls. Either way, something was clearly amiss, and no human was willing to investigate. The strange lair had struck fear into the hearts of the town, and someone had to find out what was going on down there. "Can you believe it? Walls made of bones? People going insane? Hauntings?! Earthlings are more feeble than I originally thought!" Capper would speak once the group was done reading the paper he set down. Capper was one for facts, not assumptions. He wasn't a believer of the afterlife, ghosts, or any other skeptical topics of the sort. Raising his arms up for a moment, Capper spoke once more, proclaiming the group's main goal. "We are now tasked with finding out what's going on in this weirdo catacomb. Objectione One is to find out the cause of everyone going nuts down there. Objective numero Two is to, well, not die or go insane. You're all in this now- no backing out!" He demanded, pointing a finger at everyone when he declared that none of them could back out. After that, Capper would close his eyes and cross his arms. Introductions? Check. Briefing and mission objectives? Check. Everything that had to be said was said.
With everything in order, Capper grabbed a hold of the rim of the iron ladder, closing his eyes and lifting one foot up, letting his body dangle in front of the hole. "Well, everything is in order now, team. You'd better not slow me down!" Letting himself fall backwards into the hole, Capper grasped the left rail of the ladder, sliding down the deep hole like a pole. "Weeeeeeeeeeee!" Capper would yell, his voice growing fainter as he slid deeper into the hole, until it completely diminished.
It took Capper a full minute to slide to the bottom of the catacomb's entrance. Everything was pitch black, save for the fading light from the surface entrance. Tapping a button on his scouter, the screen flickered to life, projecting a wide beam of light to light up the area. The walls were laced with plant roots around the entrance, and the ground was covered in an inch of icy cold, murky brown water. Ahead seemed to be a hallway with many branching paths. That reminded Capper- he and his group could NOT get separated. Bad things always happened in horror flicks when the main group got separated! For now, he glanced back up the entrance, waiting for everyone else to climb down.

921 saw another man, a rather muscular one, descending from the sky and landing in front of the small man who had been speaking. He spoke a rather hasty greeting, a simple one derived from slang. Another man walked up, as he did, with blue skin. He spoke in slang as well, introducing himself by the name of Gekido. "Well then, looks like we have a crowd already." He said, gesturing to all the people gathered. As he did, a serpentine woman walked up, seemingly recognising the small person who organised the group. He began to speak shortly after the man asked who he was. "Well, my name is #921 presumably, and I am a cyborg. I was living in the wilderness for..." 921 stopped, attempting to think about how long he had spent "I'm not exactly sure. It was a rather long time, I am sure of that." He picked up the paper Capper had set down, barely waiting for the others to speak. The cyborg read of horrors within the well, walls made of bones, people coming back driven insane, or never coming back at all. He shuddered at the thought of going in, both frightened and slightly excited at exploring the depths of this ruin. "Though I have one request, I have recently found a new resource, known as 'Money'. Would you be willing to trade me some of this, in exchange for exploring this ruin for you?" He said. Realising the man had begun to jump into the well, he leapt into it, falling quickly, taking about 7 seconds to fall all the way. The cyborg landed with his hands first, having one knee on the ground and both hands supporting him. Surprised by the depth of the well, he was stunned for a moment, before getting back up and brushing off his legs. His mechanical eye immediately activated a sort of night-vision, allowing him to see fully in the dark, as well as see sources of heat, through the usage of infrared light. "So," He began to speak "Where to?"

Duri's hair would flutter around in the wind like it was alive as more people showed up to the screen. ["Quite a big audience."] He watched as Capper scanned them all. While Capper did that, he scanned everyone else. There was only guy stronger than him in his base form, the Heran, but that was it. Then the small saiyan mentioned he was a member of the SSE! He would also tell him he was later, but he figured it was obvious since he was wearing his Battle Armor today.
He'd listen to everything the little saiyan Capper had to say after. Slow him down? The small saiyan couldn't be for real. Also about the inside... Duri wasn't scared, and he really didn't care if the walls were made out of flesh! He'd watch as the small saiyan slid down the ladder. Duri then looked down into the hole, and appeared almost instantaneously at the bottom of the ladder. The darkness wasn't a problem for Duri, as his night vision naturally carried over from his Oozaru form.
He also watched as Capper's scouter lit up the area. ["So he really is smart... small too..."] He folded his arms and walked around the entrance room.

Gekido finished stretching looking at the saiyan before turning to capper, "Sse huh." He muttured, normally he might of had to do something about it but he was not going to try anything funny. He grabbed the paper reading through it, "Oh a haunted place huh if any ghost try and attack me, well those ghost won't be lasting that long that is all i got to say." He crossed his arms, claims of haunting were not going to scare him, if any ghost did exist well he'd just punch them, no flawed logic in that. He laughed as capper gave them their goal, figure out who was doing this and then stop the, but they were also not suppose to die. He laughed once more, "I think we'll be fine whoever doing this will be stopped." He said a gleam of bloodlust filling his gaze, he did want to fight of course, but maybe just maybe if they didn't find anything he'd fight one of them instead.
He watched as capper jumped down the hole as he looked at the others before heading towards the hole to climb down the ladder. He headed down to reach Capper, though to be honest he would want to explore on his own but for now since they were in the starting of the tunnel he would stay with them, to be honest with himself, he did have 1 great fear hopefully in that musky cave they would not find any...well spiders. Gekido was not going to lie to himself, he hated spiders, he didn't know why perhaps it because on planet hera they have giant mutated spiders twice the size of herans. Maybe that increased his fear or maybe he was just a coward, no he was a warrior. "So where do we start Capper." he said scratching the back of his head.

The demoness grabbed the paper when the Heran was done with it. As she scanned it, she nodded, murmuring to herself. "not a bad setup... wouldn't have minded having a lair like this myself before I met Capper..." She glanced at the Heran, having noticed the gleam in his eye and recognizing it - after all, she'd gotten that same gleam countless times. The serpent shrugged and dropped down the shaft in pursuit of the group. When she landed, she immediately placed herself next to Capper, between the little saiyan and the over-eager Heran. She didn't trust that gleam, guessing that if this guy was anything like she had been, he would turn on them in a heartbeat. She would've asked what the first course of action would be, but everyone else was already doing that. She shrugged again, content to follow Capper and protect him.

For now, we will use the age old method of choice, split paths! I won't be choosing here, you guys are the one deciding where to go. Don't lean on your "leader" for guidance too much! Anyways, let's play a game called "Spot the Foreshadowing!"
KEY "Capper's Normal Dialogue" 'Capper's Telepathy' 'Capper's Thoughts'
THE PUN-DERGROUND
Before the saiyan hopped down the well, #921 spoke of wanting some cash in exhange for his services. Capper spoke, waving a hand dismissively. "Oh, you'll be getting a share of whatever we find down there, don't worry. I will also be able to offer you my services as a technician in exchange for you to be my shield down there, mmmk?" The saiyan spoke, quickly sliding down the well afterwards, his new band of fighters in tow.
Capper watched his new and old teammates hop down the well behind him. The saiyan engineer looked once more at his apparent followers, flinching a little when he saw that murderous gleam in Gekido's eyes. That was the same look so many back on Vegeta and here on Earth before he met his new friends gave him before he was beaten to the point of nearly getting a Zenkai boost, but the saiyan always got away at the last second. With all of his allies beside him, the saiyan quickly inched over, clinging to Jormungandr's gown, eyeing Gekido fearfully and suspiciously. The violet-scaled snake woman was Capper's closest friend, and the person he actually knew and trusted the most out of the allies he just rallied. She'd protect him from this mean Heran, no sweat, right?
Capper remembered his previous concern that the group would split up. He did have to lay some ground rules now, right? "Oh! One more thing. I'm going to have to set up some ground rules for this expedition. You will follow them, or else you're kicked outta the squad and on your own!" The saiyan cleared his throat, standing proud and looking at his teammates, the ray of light from his scouter basking them all in a gren glow, and leaving the area ahead left in darkness. "Rule number one! DON'T separate. If we go have to part ways at some point, we will be using the buddy system. If you've ever watched any horror movie ever, you'll know that splitting up is a bad idea! One of us must always be "standing guard" as well." Safety came first. Capper was not, nor was he going to responsible for any missteps these clods might make. Pointing a finger forward and narrowing his eyes, the saiyan brought his next rule into light. "Rule number two! Don't engage what you don't know. Don't eat any suspicious plants, don't walk into dark rooms where you can't see, and so on. So please, use common sense." Capper glanced up at the roof of the catacomb, watching as some dust fell from the bricks above them. This place could fall apart any second! Shaking his head, Capper moved his arms back to his sides, narrowing his eyes once more before bringing his final safety rule into light. "And the third and final rule, avoid fighting at all costs. This place looks like it can crumble at any second, I'd say a few good Ki blasts to the ceiling and we'll all be trapped under heaps and heaps of rock! This will be a Flight over Fight mission. All of these rules are for our own safety down here."
Capper sighed, slightly winded by his little rambling. "And NOW that concludes everything. If you have any problem with these rules, you are free to adventure on your own. But you won't be getting a share of the loot we find!" And with that, the leader of the group turned around, trotting down the dark passage, lighting it up with his Scouter's flashlight function. His boots splashed against the thin surface of water coating the dirt ground, heading down the bricked passage. Leading the group, the saiyan found his attention diverting down to the watery surface he was running in. Were those... footprints in the muddy water? And awfully big ones as well... Naw, they were probably from someone else who came down here and failed, coming out insane. Their group was the only one down here, right?
Coming to a screeching halt, Capper noted how the path ahead diverted into two. The first path to the left led across a bridge, surrounded by a constant darkness no night vision or scouter flashlight could pierce. A large cavern seemed to surround the bridge, causing everyone's voices to echo down the dark path. A faint sound echoed down the dark passage... a waterfall, perhaps? Capper tilted his head upon hearing the faint sound of falling water, before looking at the other, less open path. It was short, cramped, and laced with many large, purple cobwebs, with spiders moving around inside them. However, one could see this path was very short, ending with a sharp ninety degree turn to somewhere else. The path was narrow, everyone would have a hard time squeezing through, save for their tiny and flexible leader. Pieces of wood held up the narrow path which was lined with jagged rocks, the only residents of the are being the spiders, who watched with their eight eyes at the next group to come down the hole to hell. Another group? Turning his head and looking back and fourth between the two paths, Capper looked back to the group with an uncertain expression plastered on his face. Clearing his throat, the saiyan spoke. "Alright, this is fine... We can split into buddy groups OR all elect to go down one path. I will let you all chose where to go or what to do."

921 watched as one of the other explorers came down, and scanned him. He had a battle power of 13,374. Not bad, not bad at all. Another climbed down, the peculiar man with blue skin. He measured him as a battle power of 14,256. The serpentine woman jumped down, giving him an opportunity to measure her power as well. 9,976 the closest to him, though still above. It appeared he was the weakest of the group until he scanned the small man, the one who had brought them all there. He had a power level of only 20, insanely weak! And he was the one who had just been calling others cowardly? Insanity. Deciding not to speak of it, the cyborg looked back over at the man with blue skin, noticing a glare in his eyes, a glare that he recognised, that he had seen before. This was the eyes of a man with hate. A man filled with a lust, for something primordial... a man that wished to kill. The cyborg set his eye to track his movements, he must be certain that he would not hurt anyone. He heard the leader respond to his request for money, saying that he would get a share of whatever was found. Excellent, though possible bad were they to not find anything. The small person continued, laying down simple ground rules, saying not to interact with the unknown, not to go by themselves, and to avoid fighting. Reasonable, those seemed like the best to avoid harm. But it slightly worried him, for it was not something the more hot-blooded members may agree to. Nevertheless, they were agreeable to him. He followed the small man as he walked further, and the path branched off. He told them that they would have a choice, whether to go down a smaller or larger path. "I recommend that we stick together, but I'd advise that we go down the bridge. It would allow us to see better, though I can see in the dark I am not certain that our other members can. Though I will stay with the majority, so if more people elect to go down the small path, so be it."

Duri explored around the entrance area as Capper laid down his ground rules. Duri let out a laugh after Capper got done saying so. He'd then sigh in relief as he began to reply. "Your scared aren't you? Nothing in here could wipe the floor with us, well everyone besides you." Duri paused." Even if we do send the roof crumbling down, the only person who would get hurt from that would be you. We could just dig our way out! These rules were for YOUR safety, not ours." Duri was absolutely amused from this. "Most measly humans have a power level of 1 to 5! No wonder they get crushed by cave-ins! I think your trying to pay us off the loot for being your security." Duri would continue rambling on. "I can handle myself, and most others in here can to. The dark is not a problem for me. I can just produce ki from my body to brighten up the place, watch!" Duri would then start radiating ki from himself, lighting up the whole chamber as an whole.
He folded his arms as he waited for the others reaction to this.

"Relax, i don't fight kids, that is benith me, i got my pride you know." he looked at the kid a small smile kind smile forming on his face. He didn't attempt to pat the child, in heran culture that would be an insult and he had no intention of doing that. He walked deeper in the cave looking at the company as he heard the other saiyan talking, "The kid won't get hurt and i don't think this is a joke either." He tongue was sharp as he walked, "I been in caves like this on my homeworld, they are not fun to travel through and this cave may be just as bad." He said sharply looking at the saiyan, "Plus if their is a fight we just won't blast the wall and we should be fine." He added looking at the place, capper was not lieing when he said, the place could fall apart around them, but gekido was not worried about that.
He stared at the saiyan began to blabber around he would not be crushed by a cave in he looking at the saiyan, "You sure you can lift thousands of tons of rock without running out of air, trust me if were in a deep enough cave you'll be trapped like a bug." He put his hands together slamming them together hard, "Splat just like the bug you are." He said looking at capper, "I'll head down the small path with the saiyan over here, you guys go..." He stopped looking at the spiders his eyes widening slightly, "Hmmm, spiders huh." He blinked a couple of times before turning, "Alright yah, me and the saiyan will go down the cramp spider filled path you guys go down the bridge." He said not showing any the fear he actually had, though his fear of spider was only minor, spiders of that size were not that scary but spiders twice his size were. those were the spiders he were use to and those which would scare him bad. but their was none of those so after looking at the spiders for a bit he was ready to go.

The demoness listened attentively to the little saiyan as he layed down a few rules, nodding occasionally in understanding. As she contemplated what her vote would be on the issue of where to go, leaning towards having them stick together, she heard Duri begin to speak, starting with an accusation that Capper was afraid. Jormungandr snorted. Even if Capper was afraid, he was fully justified in feeling that way; His power was miniscule, and to her knowledge he had no way of manipulating his ki. But the serpent doubted her friend was all that afraid; he'd come down here, after all. And she was here to protect him. She walked up to the arrogant saiyan warrior and poked him in the chest, growling, "And if you meet someone else who's come down here for loot who's stronger than you, and does't much care for the idea of sharing the wealth?" When the Heran spoke up to berate the over-confident fighter as well, she nodded her thanks to him, surprised at how reasonable he sounded. She peered at the Heran as he announced in a strangely flat voice that he and the saiyan would go down the "cramped, spider-filled path" while everyone else crossed the bridge, then shrugged. "If you say so."
