I suggest that we add an item, something similar to a training dojo, but for shops. It would give a +30% bonus to zenni for every faction member in the current thread. This would allow for zenni based factions, things like Z-TV. It would also allow for people to form small 3-5 people factions based on specific shops.

That would be nice, but considering nobody I've seen has purchased the similar based item called "Training Dojo" yet for their factions I don't see a point in making this an item. To add to this point, Group thread status and multipliers from this should act as this proposed "Joint Shop" would. Anyway, it ultimately boils down to something not usable in my opinion.

They used to allow entire groups to use a shop but then a group exploited it and they got rid of the group zeni stuff and only the owner of the shop gets the extra within.

I have a dojo ): Zeni dojos could be abused though. Think of a faction like scar. If they all joined in a thread and got a 210% zeni boost each and then pooled all the earnings together? Just one thread could buy nearly every item on the site.

Maybe then it could add a +10%, then it would be practically useless with one person, but with a multitude of people it becomes better, but not OP?

Brisk Then you're one of the few people I now know of. Mimikku , #921 Must everything be group oriented bonuses? As you just pointed out Mimikku they shot this kind of idea down before and even if we go with the kind of idea you're now proposing #921 I still don't see it being very effective for the site to have this kind of item. Here's my personal reasons why:1. Training Dojos exist yet not many people use them as they could I see. 2. Because of this we can't really test how much of an effect the effects of a shop like this would have because there's no other item like a Training Dojo on the site. Unless I'm missing something on that? 3. In light of information Mimikku just gave staff would probably have to dig through many threads to see how to properly balance this where this "zeni issue" that occurred in the past so it wouldn't occur again. 4. Group threads seem to give a pretty significant boost in PL or Zeni either way. 5. We'd have to figure out if only players of the same faction could run these shops, NPC bodyguards or minions they own, etc. 6. The highest rank shops do give out a high bonus of X2 your normal Zeni.
I've not been around long but in the short time I've been here I think I've collected 30k worth of Zeni at least. With that in mind, had I used a regular shop or anyone else I'd have double the Zeni I normally would have to pool from. That amount (60k) literally lets people buy everything the shop already has. You'd have to come back for a few items, depending on what you wanted, but you still would have free reign to pick and choose.

I also have a dojo. iirc Z-Fighters also have one? I thiiink SSE does too, or maybe that was a gravity chamber. For a fact the turtle school has one and the Crane USED to have one.
Anyways, the idea seems pretty neat~ I'll talk to my boyyyyz.

That's not a bad idea! Perhaps having it as a sort of upgrade path for members to use... Alright, so right now it's:
25% Level 1 50% Level 2 100% Level 3 200% Level 4
If we wanted to do a sort of group faction dynamic for this, it have involve a player limit to how many can go in and earn money. Has to reflect the operation of a business here... Ok, here's a method we could do. First off, it has to have a base minimum of a level 1 shop... Also, a note would be that this faction business employs the people in the faction and can't be used by those outside of the faction. The business is intended for players to either support the faction, or they can work with their partners by splitting it up. Owners, however, would get the largest amount of money, as they've gone through the effort of buying and upgrading it in that manner.
Level 1 (25%) -> Level 2 (50%) -> Faction Business Level 1: Owner still gains 25%, but it has a similar level scheme to how much total zeni is earned via 50% split between up to 4 others. This would mean the employees would follow a pattern of 6.25% for 4, 8.33% for 3, and 12.5% for 2. This would mean that zeni's getting split evenly and can still operate as though it were a level 2, but it gives other a chance to talk and work with each other. Value would have to be the same as a level 2 as well. --> Faction Business Level 2: Equal to a level 3 shop, in terms of zeni earned and pricing. However, owner gets a 50% increase, and employees get an increased staff grouping of up to 6 people. This would mean it follows- 8.33% for 6, 10% for 5, 12.5% for 4, 16.66% for 3, and 25% for 2.
You can get the idea of what I'm going with at this point. So, as I was typing it up, I came up with the idea that, if we wanted to, this would simply be a minor upgrade to it. Say... Half the price of the original level shop. This is about the pricing and how it works.
Lets think this: As it is, the shop is acting like a private contractor, where 1 person gets all the money. However, with the faction bank, this becomes a group business. While the single individual gets a large payout for their individually operating shop, the group business can get a massive payout because they're able to work off each other and produce larger results... It may result in a quality vs. quantity scenario, to be honest. Yet, the prospect of this idea's intriguing!
