Hyelia Village was located south of the capital, a popular crossroads on the winding road that led to the capital city and to several other populated areas. Despite being rather small, with only a few blocks of one story housing made from sandstone, it boasted a vibrant bazaar that bustled with trade. It served as something of a halfway point between many important trade routes, and had ultimately grown into one of the biggest bazaars outside of the capital itself. Aside from the permanent fixtures, many covered wagons filled to the brim with various goods lined the outskirts, belonging to transient traders temporarily making their place there as they unloaded their goods for purchase. Many of the bazaar customers were actually merchants from the city, purchasing items at a cheaper rate and marking them up when they returned to the city walls. Many of those that had permanent housing in the area where brokers, guards, and others who provided services to the traders that moved in and out of the market.
What had brought Carama to this mundane merchant’s utopia? Several reports of missing children had been filed to the Capitol. Many of the trade caravans consisted of large families, and at least five reports had been filed in the area since the fall of the Kashvar governance. With the Kashvar removed from power, the remnants of the organization had been continuing their experiments in the shadows, snatching youth whenever they could in order to serve their dark interests. Carama had been stalking around the village in a dark cloak that concealed his face, today not bearing any marks of his position within the inquisition. He had gone undercover, and was given a small stand that sold “good luck charms”, while he kept his ears sharp. Luckily, most people were not attracted to his useless knick knacks and ignored his stall, though he did have the occasional customer at least stop to ask him questions about his inventory and its authenticity. Never removing his hood, he would be difficult to pick out of a crowd unless someone could sense his inner power… as he had come to know it from the cyborgs that now ran the planet, it was known as power level.
Meanwhile, behind a sandstone building several blocks away, stood another cloaked figure with reddened skin concealed within the shadows of the alleyway. Menacingly he stood, watching the customers of the bazaar carefully as he lurked in the shadow. The cloaked Kashvar had taken particular interest in a power level reading of a nearby child, which was off the charts for a child of that age. His own power concealed, he would wait for now, as he could sense other strong power levels nearby that he would have to avoid. @misfortune (thread pl 9k) (zeni reward)

Two women wandered onto the scene of the market place intent on blending in, despite how easily they stood out. They had just recently arrived on the planet and hoped to not find much trouble. The first was a lady with lilac locks that reached down the slope of her back on her back was strapped a long bow and quiver and on her front a baby with gray hair dangling in a cloth sling. She wore a red vest, yellow shirt, and some white shorts with sneakers and had on her wrists some oversized bracelets. Next to her a woman with a long, gray ponytail skipped around her blue green eyes full of mirth as she tugged at a purple and maroon tie-dye shirt she owned and looked down at some black spats and boots she had on. "Mama! This whole place is crawling with vendors! Do you think I could buy some clothes in this area to help us fit in?" She asked enthusiastically while looking into the other stern woman's eyes. She wheeled around on her feet causing her torso to spin elegantly as she patiently waited for an answer. The other woman, named Denim rolled her eyes and uttered, "Silk, you do realize that's not going to help. We can't mask our power at all." She walked right past her and the young lady slumped over before clenching her fists and deciding to prove that notion wrong. She dashed back and forth from stall to stall clearly letting her tail be visible to all in the area as it flapped in the wind. Denim slowly walked behind her and kept an eye on her from a distance since she had only ever been to the planet Konats once before, and although it had been nice, things always changed. Silk would eventually get past all the parked wagons, finding nothing of interest at them, and halt herself before a tiny little stand that had charms hanging from it and cloaked vendor standing at it with what she felt was a bored salesman. Her eyes would grow wide and she'd slam her hands down on the table crying, "You look so cool! Do you sell capes here? I want to buy yours!" She hadn't even looked at the merchandise he actually sold, which were charms dangling from the stand's beams, but now found herself leaning forward in order to get a good look at his cape. Denim who heard her daughter's loud voice quickly stomped over to the stand, shifting baby silk around onto her back, and yanked the back of future Silk's shirt hard. "Silk! What did I tell you before!" Silk's neck careened back and she had to dig her fingers into the wood in order to try and stop her mother's wrath. Denim let go slowly, feeling frustrated, especially when she noticed her daughters nails literally had torn off the top finish of his stand. She shoved Silk aside and quickly bowed to the cloaked man. "I'm so sorry... I-Silk is well a hyperactive friend of mine." She couldn't come out and say she was her daughter for to do so would seem rather crazy since there was a clear age difference between them that wouldn't connect. Her coming from the future was extremely hard for her to believe but as she bowed to the cloaked figure at his charms stand she couldn't help but notice he had quite a lot. "I'm sorry to ask this but please would you happen to know anything on magic? I have a particular problem concerning my friend I need to solve." Neither she nor her daughter would know the ramifications of meeting with this shop vendor this day. As Carama peered wearily into the boring crowd of consumers and traders, hoping for some sort of action to occur, he eventually glazed over. Having grown annoyed at the sounds of customers haggling with their chosen merchants for trivial things, and of the distinct smells of the caravan creatures that rested nearby. When he was born, Carama began in a military family that was provisioned everything they needed. When his father was marked a traitor and fled Konats, he and his mother didn’t have the coin to spend at these places. Even being in a bazaar gave him a sour taste in his mouth, remembering his mother arguing with merchant after merchant for the best price on scraps of bread that had only the smallest amounts of mold on it. In a way, his career as an inquisitor began here in this very village, as he had sworn he would restore his family's honor as a young child so that his mother could live in peace. It was funny that things never work out the way you’d hope, she passed from a sickness before he had even gotten through his training, and now he only had himself.
As the day passed forward, Carama began to whittle away at a small wooden effigy, carving it mindlessly to keep his hands occupied. There was little happening, and nothing in the crowd had given him an ounce of suspicion. Finally, he heard a voice in the crowd coming from a female yelling out the word ‘Mama’. At first his heart raced, hoping in a strange sort of way that there was someone in danger that might lead him to his mark. When he set eyes on the source of the voice, he at first let out a sigh of relief, before double taking and glancing nonchalantly towards the young woman with the grey pony tail. Her clothing looked foreign, and she had a tail as well. Finally, he recognized the girl and the older woman that was accompanying her with a babe slung against her and a bow at her back. They were the foreigners. Not one of the ones who had come to claim a stake at Konats, apparently, but foreigners nonetheless. Carama watched discreetly as the younger woman moved from cart to cart, nearly cringing when she unexpectedly made her way towards his cart. Quickly, he pulled his crisp black cloak to shadow over his face as much as possible. Though he had no reason to detain the visitors, he didn’t trust them and if he could have the advantage of not being known then he would most certainly take it. When the girl asked him if he sold capes, he blinked at he for a moment. Did it look like a clothing stall?
“Oh this?” Carama said, pointing at his cloak. “I am sorry, but these are just my clothes… I don’t really have any to sell…”
Perhaps a real merchant might have sold the cloak off of his back, but that would mean unveiling himself from his hood. He also wasn’t a salesman, so he was rather lacking in the charisma department. Before the conversation could go much further, the woman with the child who was now on her back came forward to grab the woman named Silk away from his stall. All the while, he only observed standing very still without saying a word more.
“It is of no consequence,” Carama said rather dryly as the woman corrected her friend. He watched with curiosity as the woman peeled Silk back from his stand. He tried to think of the right thing to say, but he found himself fumbling for the right words and decided to keep his mouth shut. The off worlders were strange folk, and he didn’t know what he should ask to glean more detail of their true purpose here on Konats. Luckily, the older woman spoke first and he didn’t have to come up with another question. She had questions about magic… did that mean she was interested in the charms that hung from his stall, and was looking for some knick knack or dream catcher to decorate her home with? Maybe they had come all this way just for a little shopping… but the fact that she was asking made him concerned. Was she here to steal Konatsian secrets? Either way, he decided that it would be better for him to respond rather than remain silent in a train of thought.
“There are many magical things in this land… and I know many things,” Carama replied. “What is it that you are seeking?”
With this, he might learn the true intent of the visitors. ---- Meanwhile…
“There’s the one,” a being hidden between nearby alleyways muttered as he watched the interactions of Carama, Silk, and Denim. He was also wearing a dark cloak, though his skin was of a reddish hue. He watched the group from the distance, his eyes fixated on the babe who was now conveniently upon the womans back. The Kashvar thought to move on the prospect of capturing a prime candidate for experimentation, but he wasn’t yet prepared to make his move.

Deni leaned forward on the vendor's counter top placing her right elbow gently on the wood before resting her head in her right hand. She smirked at him and uttered, "That's good to know. My friend and I have a little problem. I've exhausted every known means of human science to answer the baffling question she placed in my mind recently while I was on a planet called Namek. It was, 'Are you my daughter?' to make a long story short and by means of science this claim is true, however, I cannot believe her story of coming from the future. I won't go into detail what that future's like but it brought me here because this planet I know is a safe place for me to think, and you all remind me of creatures on my world we have in stories called fairies due to your pointed ears. Anyway, they use what's called magic and since you just stated you have magical items here maybe one can prove her story true."
It was a longer explanation then Denim would have liked but the man seemed willing to listen, for a price likely, and with that Denim decided to straighten up and pull out a small purse. She emptied out all the zeni she had in large and small bills of 1 one hundred bill, 2 twenty bills, and a 3 one zeni bills. "I don't have much, but any sort of magical item to help me prove or disprove her claim would be nice. She does kind of look like me, however, after a blood test showing heavily dominant Saiyan features, and something called Ferrosian, I'm not really sure what to think anymore since I'm a human being." She was taking a big risk with this since she wasn't sure how either alien group was seen on this planet, however, the planet's leader Plato had been nice to her in the past and Celmaru who was in part a Saiyan himself.
She shifted around her baby too and let the merchant see her then Silk stepped forward and whined, "This is boring... This guy won't sell us anything. I want to go punch people now or train. Anything other then here." There would be an extremely clear resemblance between the two, especially when present Silk opened her resting eyes to reveal they were the same color as this past Silk's eyes.

The long haired archer leaned forward into his stall as she began to explain her situation. She spoke of many places that he had never heard of, but he believed her words. After all, many outsiders had been frequenting Konats as of late. It was funny, years ago outsiders from other worlds would have caused him to scoff in disbelief. But Arcosians, humans, and other strange visitors had began to frequent the plant. The human, at least, did not share the unpleasant appearance of some of the other alien creatures he had seen. For the most part, she seemed to be normal beyond having ears that were small and rounded at the end. As she spoke of her daughter coming from the future Carama squinted a bit, unsure of what to take of the idea. The inquisitor inside of him thought that it was likely a hoax, but couldn’t figure out what kind of con game they were trying to play. His eyes turned back to Silk when she spoke of being bored, noticing their was quite a resemblance. When she spoke of different alien races they flew over his head, having no real inkling of what the different races were. The name saiyan did bother him though, he knew that it was the beings known as the saiyan’s that had tried to invade his world not long ago.
“While I have no such item… I can tell you of a Konatsian Legend, though it is likely just a fable,” Carama began. “Long before the Kashvar began to plague the world, Konats was ruled by a queen who had given birth to twins. The first twin to leave the womb, by birthright, was to become her successor… but this queen could not tell her children apart. When being groomed for the crown, the boy who was to be king often complained of his duties. His brother, who was more interested in power, would often change places with his brother in hopes of taking his identity and assuming the crown… The mother grew suspicious of this and had a royal magician craft an artifact that would solve this problem… Madeline’s Bijou, as it was called, would glow when she was in the presence of her first born. Later the boy’s had an imitation made that did the opposite, and the second son rose to kingship against his mother’s will,”
Carama finished telling the tale to the best that he could remember it. The moral of the story had been that there was no substitute for paying attention to your children or something like that. But the more important thing to the stranger was Madeline’s Bijou.
“I know not if the jewel actually exists or not, but if it did it was enchanted in such a way that it could give you the answer you seek… “ he explained. He gazed at the baby as the woman held it up, not sure of what to make of it.
“But I also have a family charm, said to bring luck to the family of those that wear it… so maybe if one of you puts it on, and the other is more lucky after it would be proof enough?” Carama said, he had to at least try to act like he wanted to sell things. He held up a small wicker bracelet that had small ornamental stones adorned to it.

Denim listened to the story while holding younger Silk in her hands. Her future daughter Silk just stood there with her arms crossed in response to the story and rolled her eyes. She didn't want to hear this from some alien guy, especially since her mother was the one who got him to talk like this in the first place. She still didn't believe her at all! Denim then slowly placed Silk back into her sling on and twisted it around so it was facing behind her. She then reached forward with her left hand to grab the charm and pushed the money with her right hand towards the vendor. She could buy anything from this man she felt since he had a good, honest sounding tale and voice to her. She held up the ornament in her hand and the small stones on it glowed red under the hot sun. Her arm would then reach over to Silk and pin the item to her chest. "Wear this for a while or I'm going to hurt you badly later," Denim stated although a bit nervously. She had sensed Silk's power level before and it was nothing short of shocking as it rested at 7100 PL or thereabouts. Right now it was that way, since she couldn't turn it off and neither could Denim for that matter allowing for anyone to sense how strong they were in the area. This is why Denim hadn't wanted to interact with anyone too much, however, buying things from a merchant couldn't hurt them too badly. She turned to the cloaked man and uttered, "Thank you for the gift. I'll go ahead and go now since I've paid you well I believe." Denim then twisted around and started strutting off. Silk would follow along shortly afterwards whining, "We're leaving now really?" She wanted to stay but Denim didn't want to. She could feel someone in the area with a power level of roughly 9000. It was something more then enough to give her daughter a little trouble and she didn't want Silk getting hurt on their first true outing together if they were really nearby. Unbeknownst to her the vendor was this person yet he was not the real problem. The real problem was yet to come in terms of a person cloaked at a building nearby the market place. And, it was only a matter of time before this actor showed their face in the crowds now coagulating more in the market together. Carama

Carama didn’t appear to flinch as the younger lady seemed disinterested in the tale that he told. After finishing, he simply finished his story and adjusted the brim of his hood. Despite his passing interest in the alien lifeforms, they seemed to be relatively innocuous. As they conversed a slight breeze rolled over the area and shook the small woven trinkets that hung from the stand.
“Enjoy…” Carama replied as the woman thanked him for the trinket. As the two turned away, the girl seemed to have a change of heart as she seemed to now want to stay at his stall. It was in many ways peculiar. He eventually shrugged his shoulders, turning back to his bored watching as the two departed.
Meanwhile, at the corners of a nearby alley, another cloaked figure with salmon toned skin watched the two women with interest. His form was difficult to see under the drapes of his clothing, and he remained hidden in the shadows of the alley. Finally, as the two women walked closer, he stepped out of the alleyway. When he appeared before them, he hunched his back and looked up at Denim with interested eyes.
“You seek great magic, yes?” the man asked. He appeared to have been eavesdropping on them for some time. “I have the greatest magics you will ever find, tell me what troubles you?”
As he spoke to the woman, he straightened his back a bit, his gaze seeming to focus past Denim. If anything, he was somewhat unsettling.

"Hm," Denim muttered stopping in her tracks. Someone had stepped into their path and now was blocking it. They started speaking about magic and wanting to sell it to which she quickly responded, "You sir are a bit late in that endeavor. I already got my fill of magical items today." She couldn't see under his hood, however, there was something off about this man compared to the merchant she had just peddled with.
"Momma I don't like this guy." Silk stated stepping forward with Carama's charm pinned to her chest.
Denim quickly threw her arm in front of the girl and stated, "Then don't be a fool and step towards me and him. And I told you not to call me that." Denim knew there were two types of merchants in the world the kind she just met and the shadier kind she was pretty sure she was staring at.
"Did you?" Silk asked raising an eyebrow as she followed her mother's instructions and stepped back. Her tail began to tuck under her legs almost like a dog's as a slight bit of fear gripped her body. It was an odd expression of it yet Denim simply grit her teeth at the man and ignored it.
Denim wanted to make sure he wasn't going to pull anything funny on them. He was likely going to feel and see her emotions as she took a step forward and balled up her right fist. She intended to smash his head in with a strong punch in case he did anything funny. In her defense of herself and her daughter she accidentally let too much ki leak out and began forming energy for a Destructive Fist. She let it rest in her hand though uncharged for the time being as she awaited the stranger's response.

“Relax, darlings…” the man said slowly. “Those third rate knick knacks aren’t going to get you anywhere… what you need is some real magic, from a real wizard,”
He scanned them slowly, being careful not to make any sudden moves. His intent was to somehow take the child from them, but the wizard could read their power levels and knew that they would be difficult to steal from.
“Please forgive my appearance… an awry spell from my youth left me with a disturbing appearance,” he said, appearing to be calm. “Tell me… what is it that you truly seek here on this world? If I cannot do it, then no one can,”
From behind the women, a pair of other cloaked figures stood in the crowd. They were watching and waiting for an opportunity to grab young Silk, a perfect specimen for experimentation. They needed a new vessel that could hold a powerful creature in hopes of one day regaining power over Konats, but the mother and the teenage girl alongside her would prove to be quite the obstacle.
Meanwhile... Carama had begun to close up his shop, gathering the merchandise and putting it into the cart. The charms stand was just a cover operation, and although he still locked up the good to avoid suspicion, he left them for the most part unattended in the lock box under the cart. It was just another boring day at the market, aside from the two alien tourists. Perhaps this area was not a hot spot for Kashvar activity after all. @misfortune

Denim lowered her fist glaring at the man then responded, "Third rate? I am certain I got myself some real magic from a real wizard already." She pointed her thumb back at Silk's chest where the charm dangled and smirked. "That there is a lucky charm. If anything bad happens to me good luck should occur for her and vice versa is what I was told. Yet what would an old man like you understand about magic? I got it to prove my one goal right now which is to prove or disprove the young woman with me is my daughter from the future. That's all I want to know right now because she's been yanking my chain about it for a while. She could be lying even after a blood test so I want to know she's 100% correct in being my actual kin."
Silk slowly frowned and uttered, "That's not true. I'm not lying. I am your daughter really."
"You certainly haven't sounded like any daughter of mine at times." Denim stated she walked closer towards the short, cloaked man and stated to him, "I want you to prove that lady is my daughter, and if so, I may feel free to take on other magical services. Like finding a set of items called the 'Spheres of Destiny.'" Although she had no clue what those were per say a visit to Namek and meeting with two Namekians named Accordio and Gitar had revealed them to be powerful magic devices. She could feel the men coming up behind them with her energy sensing, however, she dared not turn to face them for at this time they were surrounded and in a slightly dangerous situation.

"Hmph," the man snorted. "I've got more magic in my little finger than that little charm, you've been swindled darling..."
“Hm… daughter you say? Well given that she doesn’t appear much younger than yourself… the only way that it could be so is through magical power,” the man said curiously as he scratched at his chin. “Is the one upon your back a child of yours?”
The strange man looked up, his whiskered face intently studying the trio. His pupils were black surrounded by jaundice yellow sclera, wide with bloodshot red veins. He kept his hands upon his chin, scraping it slowly with his yellowed fingernails.

The man before her was creepy, especially with the way he stared at them with pitch black eyes that possessed a hint of yellow in the center of them. It was almost like he was some kind of cat the way he looked at them and scratched his chi and whiskers except for the fact that his eyes were bloodshot with some maddened attempt to do something later possibly and the fact his nails were unkempt compared to a feline's claws.
Denim twisted her child around so she could be seen by him, however, she held her closely and did not let the old man reach for her. Meanwhile, Silk spoke up and stepped forward pulling off her lucky charm and crushing it in her hand. She stated to the wizard, "That upsets me. Momma bought it for me, and I can assure you even without it I can prove my time travel's possible. I-I already told her I came from the future in a time machine and I've got it on my for sure."
Silk, to prove her point, began rummaging through her pockets for a pink Capsule Corporation dyno-cap she stored it in. When her hands went into her pockets though she started to notice they were completely empty. She continued to move her fingers around in them hoping they hadn't fallen out of her spats. Yet after a thirty seconds of doing so shock gripped her body and her eyes widened.
"Where are my capsules!" she cried. She hadn't removed them at all from her pockets since she made the time jump and returned them to the safe place within her pants. This was before heading to her mother since she was certain at that time she had wanted to secure her only means home. She gripped her right hand to her forehead and attempted to remember what she had done with it. In the meantime, Denim upon hearing rolled her eyes and tapped her foot as she slowly handed coddled her child.
Silk rubbed her temple hard until it left a red spot in the middle of her forehead. For whatever reason she couldn't remember where the ship had gone. In truth, she had been to this time more then once yet she didn't remember. The first time was on Namek to see her mother from a distance a month ago when she was with the Namekian Gitar and the second was her interaction with Accordio and Gitar on the planet. It started to slowly come back to her in this brief discussion. The Arcosian Empire in the future had built a time machine in the form of a small, compact cellphone but the first time she went it had been to test the device.
"They sent me with a robot equipped with a camera to take a picture of you mom!" she suddenly remembered trying to now rummage through her pockets to see if she had it or the picture. This was not to be the case for in her remembrance of the events the moment she got back to the future only a few seconds had actually passed yet the machine had been drained of all its power in the time jump. The scientists involved knew it was a success because they could make out Denim's present self from their future robot's camera, however, upon looking at their time device knew it could not run again for quite some time.
She sighed when these thoughts caught back up to her then stated, "I remember them taking that stuff away from me though when I came... back... Then they gave me a new phone later that year? I think, or was it the same one, I can't remember well. Yet somehow I think they came back and told me, "You tested our first time device well. We're going to make a new one though it'll take a year. But good job."
She scratched her head then uttered, "Not really sure if they ever came back with that device. I feel they did, but I don't have it on me anymore. I don't know where it's gone and I have no proof it seems it ever existed."
She had prattled on long enough but she hoped her mother understood and believed her. As it stood, however, the strange wizard's words of her being possibly brought here by magic were starting to sound more believable in the impatient woman's mind. She handed the wizard younger Silk since he seemed so interested in seeing her and stated, "If Silk and 'Future' Silk are the same prove it to me now by casting immediate, real magic on them so that I can see it for my own eyes. If they are the same person it should effect both their bodies." Sadly, the woman had no idea the man's real, evil intentions.

After closing up his shop, Carama was moving along the beaten merchant path. He would have to return to his encampment outside of the village to write yet another boring report to send up to higher headquarters. There was little to report, and he had to worry that the inquisitors might be defunded if they could not continue to serve their purpose. The Kashvar were dwindling, and finding them had grown more and more difficult. As he walked along the path, he noticed the alien women had gathered with cloaked strangers... he quickly shuffled behind a corner.
The wizard held back a grin as the woman handed over the young babe into his hand. Still, he could tell that the two could most certainly overpower him and his companions in the distance. Even with the child in hand, he could be none to careful… luckily, her request gave him plenty of room for trickery and deception.
“Most certainly, darling!” the wizard said as he held the babe up in his hands. As he stood in front of the two women and held the babe there was a moment of silence before he began to speak magic words in a strange tongue. “"Akula norn moiparran sular!"
As the wizard finished muttering his magic words, there was a blinding flash of light that lit up the market place. Several people gasped, and as the blinding light faded, the wizard had disappeared… though a black feather lay where he had once stood. If one of the two women had the fortune of looking into the sky, they would see a large black vulture like bird in the air grasping the young silk in it’s talon.
From the shadows, behind the two women, came three other cloaked figures formed small bolts of fire that they lobbed towards Silk and Denim. The third of the three stood further back, charging a large crackling bolt of lightning. From out of the shadows, a fourth figure emerged… slender and bearing the same grey robe as before, the man from the merchant shop landed with a burning blade in his hand. As he jumped towards the wizard forming lightning, he thrust the bright blade into the beings chest. As he swung his blade, the charm’s merchants hood fell off, revealing his ash grey hair and bronzed skin.
“Your child!” Carama yelled, watching the large bird flying off and into the distance. Carama attempted to rush forward towards another wizard, but a column of flames began to circle around the wizards and the two women- creating a wall of fire around them.

The moment the wizard reached for her daughter and disappeared in a flash of light Denim found herself forced to cover her eyes with her right arm. When it was over she and Silk gazed around and spread out their energy sensing to search for present Silk. They were too late though for Denim immediately looked up into the air after a moment's pause and found her daughter in the clutches of a black vulture creature running away with her in its talons. "Give back my daughter!" Denim screeched whipping her bow off her back and pulling an arrow from her quiver to attempt to aim and hit it. She was too slow though for a moment later. She felt power come behind her and nearly got hit by an incoming fire ball, luckily, Silk reacted in time to it and pressed her to the ground. "You fool mom! You handed me away!" She shouted at the lilac archer. They weren't done yet though for one of the three wizards were just about to fire off lightning at them. "Squelch!" Blood spurted from the magician's body and someone with strong ki could clearly be felt before them. Denim looked up from her laying position to find a man with a flaming sword and ashy gray hair standing before them. He had pointed years like all the people that were attacking them and she couldn't help but quickly rise and charge him. She stopped though when he yelled, "Your child!" the voice sounded like the merchant from before. He ran forward but when he did flames surrounded them all. "Silk!" Denim cried strapping her bow back onto her back. She wheeled around and stomped over to Silk who rolled backwards and immediately stood at attention. "No... Why'd you let him take her." Silk slouched and uttered, "I didn't you let him take her. You handed her, or well me, to him mom. Now we've really gone and messed up the time line." She then jumped up with all her might and with the grace of a gymnast flew over the wall of flames with her strong Saiyan muscles before planting both her feet on one of the remaining, attacking wizards' heads. She smirked then dashed over to one now attempting to flee and slammed an explosive elbow strike into the wizard's stomach. They went flying in a single strike and slammed into a stone wall on the other side of the alley. She clasped her hands together and a second later used both of them to hammer the side of the wizard's face in thus ending his assault on them. Denim stood up still stuck in the surrounding flames and took to leaping over them as well. She turned back to the swordsman and said, "Come on, you-you well nice strange swordsman... I need help and I can't trust this daughter from the future to do this for me. I want to and need to save my child." She then twisted around and began to run off trying to feel for the vulture's ki. It was far outside the village now though and she knew that there was nothing she could do so she skidded to a halt and waited for her comrades. Silk soon followed her and she hoped the swordsman might come too. Carama

Stepping out of the crowd, several men adorned in light armor approached Carama. He quickly pointed a finger at the wizards who had been defeated.
“Save them if you can, take them directly to Inquisition Headquarters for interrogation if they live,” Carama demanded. The guards made a salute at Carama, who returned one hastily and turned away from them and towards the two women who were at odds with one another, trying to decide whose fault it was.
“I am Carama… If the Kashvar took your child, it was only a matter of time before they found a chance to take her. There is little purpose in arguing,” the konatsian said, so that the woman would have a less lengthy title to call him by. He looked up at the creature gaining distance on them now. There was very little chance that they could gain ground on the being, but Carama would do everything that he could to keep them in his sights. Given that a kidnapping had just occurred it was likely that the child had been selected for Kashvar experiments… which could only mean that the warlock was transiting the child to a secret facility. He followed after the women, after all, extinguishing the Kashvar was his job. He thought about trying to fly after the creature, but two things stopped him. The child could be at risk if he flew after them, and… he wanted to know where the Kashvar base was.
“They are headed west, into the mountains…” Carama replied as he ran forward, signaling for the women to follow. “The Kashvar used to rule here, and we used to sacrifice our young to them in honor of an agreement… now that they have been deposed they have turned to kidnapping, and I fear your child is their newest victim,”
Carama felt a bit of guilt, as he always had, about seeing the concerned look of a mother after her child had been taken. Before the rise and fall of Plato, part of his job had been to collect chosen children for deliverance to the Kashvar. While he was now free from that gruesome duty, he could still feel the weight of the families that he had torn apart in his tenure. How many had he made feel the same way that these women were feeling now?
There was one other problem that faced them, beyond the cruel cragged stones of the mountains and ravines that were lying ahead, the sun was slowly but surely making its descent into its nightly slumber. Sitting low behind the mountains and peering out from the peaks, the slightest of red hues was forming in the horizon. It wasn’t quite sunset yet, but the day was coming to an end. Carama could not guarantee they would be able to find the child, even with his knowledge of the Kashvar they were very tricky beings. He didn’t want to tell the two women that, for once, Carama wanted to put a mother’s pain at ease. @misfortune
