What A Numbssskull
Jormungandr strolled down one of West Capitol's many busy streets, whistling idly. She was in an unusually good mood, having recently engaged in some heavy introspection, and having decided that the recent changes in her behavior were a good thing. She still didn't have enough money to buy a house, which had been her main goal recently, but at that moment, she didn't care. The rising sun shone bright, the air was comfortably warm, and everything was great!
She frowned briefly, however, as she realized she hadn't eaten properly in several days, and her stomach was killing her. She shrugged and looked for a restaurant or cafe. It took a while, as she still didn't know the city very well and didn't know what such buildings looked like around here, but eventually, she spotted a place she was pretty sure was a cafe, and her hunch was confirmed when she walked in.
The buzz of idle chatter surrounded her as she approached the counter. "I'd like...." she said, then paused, looking around. "I'd like what he's eating" she decided, pointing to a man busy devouring a muffin, along with a plate of pancackes. "And a cup of coffee" she added as an afterthought. "black. no milk or cream or anything like that." The woman on the other side of the counter nodded and prepared her order, and Jormungandr smiled as she took it and sat down at a table near the door. |

"WHAT!? NO MILK!?" Cried someone, a few people behind the snake demon in line. There was the sound of moving and shuffling before A skeleton came to stand besides the snake demon. "Don't you know how important Milk is to your every day life? Its one of, if not THE MOST important part of any meal!" The skeleton frowned. "Its got Calcium! And Calcium not only is the life blood of the universe, but also the secret to incredible power! It could make you the strongest person ever if you drank enough!"
The Skeleton moved past her and slapped down a credit card and frowned. "Two big glasses of Milk added to that Meal!" He narrowed his boney eyes. "I will show you the real power of Clacium, while Also Paying for your entire meal!"

Jormungandr stared at the skeleton as they moved to stand beside her, then slammed a credit card onto the counter. Her eyes widened in disbelief as she finally managed to process his rant. "I-I'm sorry, but what?!" she looked at the credit card, then stared at him. He was going to pay for her meal? not that she was complaining, of course - she wasn't exactly rich - but....... why?!
"The.... real power.... of... calcium?" she asked, thoroughly confused. How in the world could calcium make someone the strongest person ever? as far as she knew, it just strengthened your bones a little. But, she didn't really know that much. She didn't drink milk very often, after all.
She shrugged, deciding to just go with it, and accepted the milk, though rather hesitantly. What exactly was this....... person planning? why were they obsessed calcium? She had many questions, but she wasn't really expecting any of them to be answered. She hardly ever found any answers to the questions she had. |

The skeleton turned his head towards her and frowned. " Yes! The power of Calcium!" He said. "Its the most important thing ever!" He huffed a bit, crossing his arms before shaking his head. " Just because you have scales and aren't human doesn't mean you can ignore it!"
He'd wait by the counter, tapping his foot with a frown. "I'm going to show you the deliciousness that is Calcium! And how it makes everything better!"
When the order arrived he picked everything up, sat at a nearby table and picked up his glass of milk. "You see this? This is the most important thing in the universe! Its full of Vitamins and nutrients that all life forms need! Its the most important thing ever!"
Just to emphasize his pint he'd quickly down the whole bottle in one go, where it went no one would likely ever find out.

She watched, still just as confused as ever, then shrugged and sat down. "if you say so....." she muttered, then picked up the other glass and sipped it. ....you know, it really doesn't taste all that great...
As she sipped her milk, she examined the skeleton. hm.... not very strong. probably a demon, though. don't know what else he could be, really..... she shook her head. It didn't really matter what species he was; he was just weird. |

"I do say so!" Said the Skeleton with a frown. He put down his empty glass before crossing his arms. "It doesn't matter what you are or who you are. Milk is very important to everyones Diet and well being! Not only does it fill you with Calcium and other vitamins, but its also a good way to quench your thirst without drinking water! And it tastes better." He sighed shaking his head.
"Its also the secret to Ultimate Power. Legend has it that if someone were to drink over four hundred Gallons of it in their life time that they would become invincible! They'd be the strongest there ever was!" He chuckled to himself. "I don't know if its true or not, but if someone actually did that, that would be pretty neat."

Jormungandr stared, speechless, as the skeleton rambled on about how amazing milk was. Just how obsessed could you get? Her face twisted into an expression of utter confusion as he told her of a legend that said that someone who drank 400 gallons of milk in their lifetime would be invincible, then nearly choked as he chuckled and said he wasn't sure if he believed it.
"that's.... interesting" she managed to say despite her complete lack of comprehension concerning what was going on. "....when did you start thinking so highly of milk, might I ask? something must have happened to instigate this..." She inquired, figuring she might as well get to know this ridiculous individual.
