Mako had only been on earth for about four hours. His old space pod landed, or well, crashed and fell to pieces effectively stranding him here. Not that he minded however. Being a Human born another another planet made visiting earth rather exciting, though he wasn't here for fun and games. He was here for business. He had a job to do and He was going to do it to the best of his ability.
The first hour or so of his time here was mindlessly wandering, looking for any bit of information and civilization that he could. The Second hour was him gathering much needed supplies, and the third hour was him heading out into the wilderness to set up. Now in the forth hour his campsite was finished. It was set in a clearing between some trees as the sky grew a bright orange hue. The sun was setting and it was almost time to get hunting.
All around his camp he had set traps; Most of which were Nets, bear traps, and his favorite the Rope Trap. Nothing would be sneaking up on him while he rested. Not a thing. He sat at his campfire, cleaning his handcanon, His own personal hunting weapon. Sitting besides him, stabbed into the floor was his fathers Lyon Blade, which was twice the size of Mako, yet he had no problem dealing with its weight.
Mako sat by his campfire as he cleaned out the handcanon, while he waited for the squirrel he had caught earlier to cook. Might not of been much, but he had never eaten Earth animals before and needed to start out small. A smile crept over his face as he pulled the cleaning rag out of his Canon's barrel and nodded. Not long after he'd begin to whistle a jolly tune as he picked up the Lyon Blade and got to cleaning that.

The encounter with Katsu, which eventually developed into a strong job offer had left a sour taste in Noxa’s mouth. Well, her exit did. Katsu was an intelligent man. Noxa had garnered some respect towards him — which in itself was something new. That ‘respect’ made it all the more frustrating for Noxa, how she had seemingly offended him. She had walked and flown out of that desert — spent hours and still could not find exactly what she did wrong. Overtime the redheaded woman grew the feeling that it was her dismissive nature that set him off. It was very possibly the case — a serious man who dealt in serious issues.
The event in question had troubled Noxa enough already. The woman’s eyes focused below, taking in the scenery that sped by. At some point over the last few hours the colors had changed. The droll khaki and browns of the Gizard Wasteland had faded into lush greens. Noxa had no idea where she was now, but the darkness that closed in told her what time it was. The woman could settle down for the night here — maybe even find something to eat. Something to drink.
Her sky-parting flight slowly began to grind to a halt. Eventually the woman simply floated in the air, gently descending into the leafy forest’s lush ceiling. She broke through without much effort. The change in temperature was instant, as was the change in her mood. The entrance into the cooler, damper atmosphere was a much-welcome change after a day of traveling and flying.
The woman lulled herself lower, eyes shut. Her red aura illuminated the world of green around her. The stark scarlet began to dim. It has fully dissipated by the time her foot came to a gentle touch on the floor. Her metallic carapace heels, however, erupted with a fierce, clanking sound. That isn’t what she expected from touching down on a bed of roots and grass. The woman bent forward just a tad. Having gotten enough space to look down to see that her right lad had been tightly clasped by a bear trap.
“What…?” Noxa was slightly confused. This was clearly a hunter’s tool. The woman effortlessly pulled her foot free, causing a terrible screech to tear through the forest as the metal scraped against her carapace.
Noxa brought the tool of the hunt closer to her face. Definitely a trap of some sort. Given its inefficiency and the fact she had only arrived… Well, it was clearly not meant for her. Normally Noxa would simply toss the thing over her shoulder and find a nice place to sleep. However, recent experience had changed her perspective on social interaction a bit; Katsu made the entire idea of talking to people far more exciting.
Noxa’s nose sniffed at the trap. She captured a musk — a scent. Organic in nature. Definitely that of the hunter. The woman’s nose then rose into the air; her olfactory senses taste the nearby environment.
‘He is close.’ the thought rolled through her mind.
The Bio Woman tucked the broken trap beneath her arms, and got a move on. She made her way close to the hunter. Foliage began to crunch beneath her bio-armored heels; Noxa was making a point to step hard — each movement a ‘stomp’. She needed to make her presence known. She’d hate to have to bite a bullet because she’d snuck up on someone in the eve of dusk… It had happened before.
“Heeellllooo?” Noxa called out, “Anyone heeeree? I found one of your litt-- fearsome traps!”
The woman spoke in staccato, each word separated from its neighbors by a comfortable pause. She chose them carefully. Between Katsu and Celmaru Noxa had learned one thing: she needed to choose her words carefully when interacting with others. Acting on instinct and going on ‘auto pilot’ was an effortless activity, but it often got her in a world of shit.
A thought suddenly came into her mind — something that Katsu had said before their party. Something about ‘ki’; Noxa had learned some people could sense it. That gave her an idea — use ki! Give them another way to possibly find her; to feel her coming! A pressure built within her body, before she spirit flared outward. A silent kiai ripped through the forest, tearing loose branches from trees and silencing whatever melody the nocturnal animals had been performing.
Her thunderous, singular movement came as a surprise to herself. The blast of air — it was much stronger than she intended. She HAD grown far more powerful than she expected beneath the Earth… It seemed her time with Katsu was far more rewarding than he let her onto. After all, even with her power inhibitors activated Noxa had seemed to nearly tip over the closest tree to her. She glanced over, looking over the roots, which had unearthed a good portion of soil from the tension of her blast.
Her glowing, piercing yellow gaze looked around. Everything else looked fine — even a little cleaner, as some of the smaller debris and loose leaves had been viciously pushed away by the sudden pressurized air. ゴ ゴ ゴ ゴ “Oops.” Mumbled the redhead. Noxa made a mental note: do not power up — or use blasts in a city. AT ALL. With her current abilities the kind of shit she pulled many times before would no longer fly. What she did before to clear a path would now easily erase a building — ESPECIALLY without the effect of the artificial lid of her power inhibitor.
Noxa had to be very careful from now on.

Mako was rather occupied with his polishing and whistling to hear the tell tale "CHOMP" of the bear trap. However the screeching of the trap cause him to drop his polish and look around quickly. His senses kicked into gear and he picked up his hand canon. He spun it quickly, loading each chamber with a large caliber shot, and looked about. He narrowed his eyes before he heard the voice of a woman. He blinked.
"H-Hello?" He called into the forest. "Its not safe here, whoever you are. There's something big and nasty around. Making all sorts of racket." He looked away for a moment, only for there to be a sudden gust of wind, strong enough to send him flying into a tree. Not only that but it put out his camp's fire and effectively destroyed his camp sending his supplies every which way.
He hit a tree with a grunt then got back up and cocked back the hammer of his canon, which let out a rather heavy "CLICK" when it was pulled. He put the sword on his back quickly and looked about before noting Noxa's two glowing eyes. That is what was causing the mess. Maybe it was the beast he was hunting? He narrowed his eyes and quickly pulled a net from the backpack on his back. It was small, way too small to be of any use on anything larger than say a squirrel or Racoon, but either way he had it. He crept closer quietly, before whispering. "Fly my child."
He let out a grunt as he tossed the tiny net in Noxa's direction, and should she not move, or see it coming, it would no doubt land right on her face and wrap around her head.

The absolute silence the forest had been plunged into gave Noxa the platform she needed. There was no chirping, chittering, or rustling. It was the kind of suffocating silence that could deafen someone used to the bustling noise of a city. Thanks to this sensory deprivation Noxa was able to turn her head at the sound of the loud ‘thud’.
‘It could’ve been a rock.’ Noxa rationalized, looking yonder in that direction just long enough to lose interest. Were it not for the response Noxa would have simply walked off, dismissing the sound as nothing much — but both came from the same direction. Noxa sniffed the air a bit. The scent had thinned out a little, but it was still there, despite the canned hurricane she had opened.
Noxa began to step towards the sound. Her vision, even in the darkness of the forest, was near-perfect; she had no problem in finding her way.
Another sound — another metallic sound got her attention. A little ‘click’ that sounded like a metal latch being fastened. It further helped Noxa zero-in on whatever she was looking for. Noxa stepped through a little foliage and around the side of a tree. The glowing xanthic eyes were quick to ‘snap’ into those of the boy. She stared directly at him.
She watched as the boy ‘stalked’ closer.
The woman narrowed her eyes. Just what in holy hell was he trying to do? It looked like he was attempting to creep up on her, like some kind of stalking predator, but… Between the pink hair and goofy clothes… Well, he just didn’t look threatening at all! He had something on his hands — something that Noxa was able to easily recognize; It was some kind of pea-shooter. The kind that tickled her a bit, or at least it used to way back in Zilyana. Given her development Noxa had begun to wonder if that kind of thing would even have any effect on her anymore. The clearly visible handle of the massive blade he carried was another thing she was able to identify, although that was even less threatening to her than the gun. It was just some blade — a barbaric weapon; something she figured was better suited for handling meat than anything.
Oddly enough, despite his stalking stance, the boy didn’t seem to brandish either of the weapons. Not with the kind of stance or intent needed to even attempt to harm Noxa. The boy, instead, seemed to grip at some kind of net. It was tiny — the size made Noxa’s features curl into a smile. The miniature hunter’s tool was just too cute! The idea that he wanted to use it to capture her made it even THAT much more adorable!
The woman’s red mane began to writhe; it came alive. The mass of scarlet shifted and swayed, with a few strands and locks beginning to stick out and lick at the air. The adorableness of the little predator had excited the progenitor.
The action that had born from her hair proved to be a mistake.
Then he whispered something; Noxa missed it. It’s not that she was incapable of hearing his hushed wording — she was. The problem was her focus; Noxa was distracted.
Just as the simpering Bio Android was ready to speak the net was made to fly. It rushed at her face. Noxa didn’t move. She didn’t try to dodge. It was surely a harmless little thing, right? It landed. The tiny net was quick to wrap around her face. Her hair, however, seemed to find itself entangled almost instantly. Before the woman was able to register what was happening she felt the net being tightened against her face. As one side of her mane tugged to free itself it simply tightened the opposite side of the net to her features.
“W-what in the devil is this?!” She yelped as she felt her hair being pulled “O-oww!”
The woman reached up. In doing so she let go of the beat trap, which instantly came smashing into the ground beside her.
“G-get this damn thing off me, you maniac!” Hissed the woman, whose talon-like armored gauntlets began to teach up into her hair, attempting to free the writhing mass from the entangling trap!
Noxa — nearly panicking — took a wrong step. Had her mind been clear, this 'error' would not have occurred; her mind, however, was currently pre-occupied with the damned net! Her metallic heels found themselves atop of a half-burnt log. The remains of his bonfire — which had been strewn about — latched into her inconvenient footwear. The woman, overcome by physics and gravity, found herself promptly on the ground. She began to roll around, moaning and grunting as she attempted to pry the damned net without causing too much damage to her luscious head of hair!

Mako smiled wide as his net flew and struck true, only for Noxa to speak. It took a moment to register in his mind before he gasped and realize what he had done. "Oh geez." He said. "Sorry about that. I thought you were some big nasty beast coming to eat me. Glowing eyes are pretty common on the bigger beasties."
He uncock his gun and turn the safety on before pulling a pocket survival knife from his belt. He noted her rather comical fall and stifled a snicker before shaking his head. " Right stay still so I can get you out." He said. "If you struggle you'll get more tangled in it. That's the point of a net." It would be a difficult task with her rolling to and fro.
It would take a few minutes but eventually he cut her free from the net. She'd be able to feel the net going slack and him pulling it off her. "I'm really sorry about that miss." He pulled something from his back pack, a small lantern, which he turned on to get a better look at her. He looked her up and down, taking in her appearance before he realized two things. One, that she was a beautiful buxom woman, and two, that she wasn't wearing any clothes. Or at least that is what it looked like. "O-Oh my god." He said quickly before covering his eyes quickly. A thick blush came over his face. "W-were you kidnapped? W-why don't you have any clothes? Were you stranded here in the forest?"
He turned from her, quickly fumbling with taking off his back pack. Once it was off he quickly opened it and dug through it, only to pull out a pair of shorts, and a tank top. He tossed them to her. " There. They aren't much, but at least you wont be naked."

“Sorry about that. I thought you were some big nasty beast coming to eat me.” He said.
Noxa stopped struggling at that moment. She looked up at him, a singular eye burning behind red strands restrained by his damned trap.
“Don’t give me any ideas.” Her warning came as a mumble under her ground — one likely lost to the grass before it reached his ears.
The bound Bio on the ground let out a snort, remaining still as per his request.
“Watch the hair, would ya?” This time her voice was loud, clear, and confident. “I lose a strand and I’ll have your head.” The woman hadn’t yet decided how literal she’d take that statement — but there was definitely some truth to it. Noxa could’ve very well destroyed the net herself, but she wouldn’t want to harm one of the only qualities of which she’d come to have vanity over.
“The more I struggle the more I get tangled?” Despite his warning it seemed the boy WAS going to keep giving NOXA ideas… Maybe she could design something with the same premise — biologically or artificially… Although the latter would likely need some heavy supervision from Katsu.
Or, better yet, she might be able to do something similar with her hair! Though, on the other hand that idea would be putting her prized possession in harm’s way…
Choices, choices.
Through the duration of those handful of minutes, Noxa remained on the dew covered floor. The ideas for a new technique blossoming within her mind. It was something far more complex than she ever really considered before — all of her arsenal so far revolved around brute strength and little finese.
When he apologizing came Noxa barely minded. She was really just more than happy to be free from that terrible fate. The Bio Woman reached up, clasping her hands together. She grunted, reaching for the skies as she stretched. Behind her the red mane followed suit. It expanded in all directions, forming a sort of porcupine-like afro of scarlet.
Everything about her posture snapped back to normal as she smacked her lips. There was definitely a bit of a ‘dirt’ taste. A bit of a frown laced her features, reaching up and picking bits of net from her hair. Reveling in the disgusting taste of soil that lingered in her palette.
“Maybe I shouldn’t have been talking while on the floor…” She said, only to be interrupted by the boy’s exclamatory statement. With that statement the Woman’s gaze returned to the boy. Just in time for him to continue to spew out theories and wording.
“Kidnapped…?” She repeated after him. Noxa wasn’t entirely sure what to think of that theory it was… Exceedingly inane — even by her standards. Although that was mostly due to the fact she failed to see things from his perspective. “What are you implying?”
Noxa narrowed her eyes, “I’ll have you know I—” she stopped herself short, remembering the entire point of 'Bexy Sitch'.
Noxa cleared her throat, getting ready to fix the statement she’d begun to put out.
“I am NOT nude, first of all. These ARE my clothes.” she took a hold of whatever light source the boy held and redirected it to her sides and shoulders. The line shone onto her carapace. OR, AT LEAST, THAT IS WHAT SHE WOULD HAVE DONE. Just as she made a reach for the boy he’d begun to turn around; taking with him the light source. “I am a c-coss plaayur.” The word ‘cosplayer’ came out slowly and with much effort. The Bio Android was careful to not butcher it too much.
The redheaded Bio watched as the boy gathered himself and scampered off to his goods. She didn’t speak. When he returned and handed her the clothes she simply stared down at the items — which she was swift to grab from his hand.
“I am dressed as a character named ‘Bexy Sitch’ from THIS manga.” She pulled something from behind her hair — the equivalent of a ‘pocket’ to the woman. She brandished a lewd manga cover, which held her image on the front cover. ‘Dirty Deeds Done So Sweet’, read the title in big bold red letters.
“As a c-cos-- that thing. As that kind of model I am naturally out in the woods. Alone. Searching for… Model things.” While Noxa spoke and explained her hair began to writhe about, riding a soft breeze that wasn’t there. The movement of her hair’s meshes were akin to those of someone underwater.
That wasn’t where the situation ended, however. Noxa was keen to take a look at the cloth handed to her. The sensation of this clothing wasn’t a suave and pleasurable as the one Katsu had handed her. Whatever this was made of was clearly of far inferior quality to ‘silk’. Noxa sighed, mentally cursing herself for not having taken the silk pajamas that had been handed to her by Doctor Katsu.
Still… Maybe putting these on would help the boy ease himself a bit more around Noxa.
Noxa brought the tank top to her lips, holding the white cotton clothes between her teeth. She was going to work herself into the pants first. It proved to be a challenge. The first issue was her carapace. It was hard to fit the boy’s shorts over it, so naturally Noxa absorbed the metal-like tissue into her body. The process was silent and inconspicuous. The second challenge Noxa faces was the size of the item — it was too small! Noxa was a curvaceous 6’3” woman. In squeezing herself into his shorts there was a few audible tears of fabric being stretched beyond its intended purpose.
Thankfully, however, the short’s seams held.
Next Noxa took care of the tank top. Just like with the shorts, Noxa had found herself retracting her ‘armor’ beforehand. She swiftly swiped the item from her mouth. It wasn’t long after she began to slide her shirt that the problem of ‘size’ was once again made present. Thankfully, this item was far more stretchy than the last. Noxa, despite feeling way too tight within this one, didn’t hear any tearing upon having slid into it.
It reached down to just over her belly button, and it left Noxa constantly having to adjust the top-side of the item just to feel comfortable, but other than that it was fine. Not a problem. After all this crap would just come off once she was done interacting with him — her normal getup offered both better protection, convenience, AND it was more comfortable.
“There.” Noxa said finally, a fleshy finger hooking beneath her shoulder strap, raising it, and letting it ‘snap’ down in place. All of her carapace was now gone.
“What about you, ki-- hunter? Why are you here? Food?” Noxa found herself pushing very close to him. Soon her face was only an inch from his neck, where she began to audibly ‘sniff’ him.
No! I-it couldn’t be! That smell! That kind of smelly smell… The kind of smelly smell that smells…. Smelly…!
‘Zilyana’ — her home planet. The Bio Android would NEVER forget the smell of burnt sand and gunpowder that encompassed all of that godforsaken wasteland.
Noxa realized all this, immediately afterward she found herself pulling away from him. Taking just enough of a few steps back to be once-again encompassed in the darkness of the night — away from his light.
“What city are you from? Satan City?” Her question was wrong. Obviously wrong. Still, she wanted to hear the boy admit to his home world. Noxa absolutely did NOT want to jump to conclusions… The last thing she needed was another ‘Military base’ incident on her hands.
[Thanks for the tank top and daisy dukes lmfao]

Mako decided to ignore Noxa's comment about taking his head, thinking that perhaps she was just overly fond of her hair. He blinked at her explanation of being a cosplayer. "I don't know what that is so I'll take your word for it." He said. He looked down the the lewd manga's cover and made a face before pushing the object back towards her hand. "I'll take your word for it."
He'd shake his head. "Either way you shouldn't walk around a forest so scantily clad! What if you got attacked by some animal huh? That stuff is hardly practical against a threat. Its not even armor." He patted his vest. "Gotta wear something thick like this to even make a difference when something big attacks you."
He'd turn away from her as she got herself dressed, however the sound of seams tearing cause him to let out a sigh. He wasn't going to be able to use those shorts again. He'd stay silent, with his back to her until she spoke again. He'd turn to her and stop to stare, a subtle blush creeping over his face before shaking his head.
"Me? I'm hunting something." He said. "A big nasty bug beast that's killed a few hundred people... Or at least that's what the bounty said." He shrugged. "I'm going to kill it, then claim the reward. Ten Million Zeni. My biggest hunt yet." He nodded. "I might eat it though. Depends if it looks appetizing or not. Its said a hunter gains the power of whatever they eat, so I do normally take a bite out of whatever I hunt."
As she got closer that blush only intensified. "W-what are you doing?" He asked before he heard her sniffing. He went rigid for a moment. "W-whaaaat?"
When she backed away into the darkness once more he blinked. "I'm not from any city really." He said. "I'm not even from this planet. I come from Zilyana. A small village in the middle of a desert. No one really bothers us." He looked her up and down. "Where do you come from?"

The woman didn’t know what to say. She hadn’t ever come across as situation like this. She wanted to laugh, but couldn’t. She wanted to smack him, but it was too soon for that. This kid from Zilyana not only called her defenseless, but also suggested whatever he wore offered him any protection.
Noxa really wanted to say something. Then it hit her — the dunning-kruger effect she saw in him.... Was it exactly the same thing that others had seen in her up to now?
Noxa’s shoulders sagged just slightly as a vague depression set in. From any one’s eyes it could very easily look as though Noxa was simply accepting her ineptitude.
It wasn’t until the mention of his hunt that Noxa looked up — returning her attention to him. The fact he was from Zilyana and was here hunting something set of more alarms than she could count.
Something in the back of her head already told her exactly what his answer would be — but she decided to ask anyway.
“Really? Ten million zeni? And what, prey tell, is a hunter from Zilyana looking for on Earth?”

He was silent for a little bit, as he looked over her features. He noted her posture and cleared his throat when she spoke. "Yeah Ten Million. People on zilyana really want this thing dead for killing all those people." He'd stick his tongue out, fishing around in his backpack, before pulling out a piece of paper. He'd hold up the old paper to her. It was yellowed thanks to the dirt and sun, and there were little bits of damage here and there. It read as follows:
HUNTERS WANTED
INSECTOID BEAST RAMPAGING ACROSS ZILYANA, KILLING HUNDREDS. ALL ABLE BODIED HUNTERS WANTED TO HUNT DOWN AND SLAUGHTER THE BEAST WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE. THE BEAST WAS LAST SEEN HEADING TO EARTH.
WANTED DEAD
REWARD: 10,000,000 Zenni
He smiled up at her. "Since my family originally came from earth I thought now would be a good time to come back. Not only does it give me an opportunity to work, but it also gives me a chance to see this beautiful planet. Its a lot better than Zilyana ever was, and I've only been here for a few hours!" He chuckled to himself. "I would ask if you wanted to come along and help, but its going to be really dangerous. I couldn't ask someone to help. But if you want to I wont stop you."He stretched lightly and stood up. "Its night so I should get back to hunting it either way. Its said to give off a smell you can follow. Something like gunpowder and sand. I should be able to track it using this information. And Hopefully I'll find some sort of trail it's left behind." He picked up his backpack and put it back on before checking his things. He nodded and turned to his tent which he frowned, as it was draped over a tree with a branch sticking through the fabric. He sighed and shook his head. "Well I guess I'll should get going then."

“What do you mean it ‘gives off a scent of sand and gunpowder’?” The woman found herself asking, raising an eyebrow — just what in the hell was he talking about? What kind of hunter was this kid? The woman felt her jaws clenching for a moment.
“You do realize that’s literally what all of Zilyana smells like, right? Sand and gunpowder. All the time.” The woman shook her head, “You could be smelling anything that came from Zilyana. Including your clothes and your ship.”
Noxa crossed her arms, tapping her foot in a display of impatience. “It doesn’t make sense. At all. Besides — I doubt you’re hot on this thing’s heels. Chances are it has been here for a long time. If that’s the case the scent of Zilyana would have rubbed off long ago.”
If he was this absolutely incompetent it was quite possible he wasn’t here after Noxa after all. Besides, if Noxa recalled currently her own bounty wasn’t anything that extreme. With an odd glance at the paper Noxa would come to the conclusion he was incredibly misled. Not that it surprised her. Back in Zilyana it seemed like every other traditional hunter, or bounty hunter always came at her with misinformation.
She didn’t get that at all. Why would a contractor offering a monetary reward lead employees into their deaths so often? It could’ve been any in a myriad of factors. Noxa had thought on this topic plenty, before she came to Earth; the woman always figured it was one of two things. The first possibility was that other hunters or bounty men trying to weed out the competition, by putting up false contracts and leading those who fell for them into their deaths. The second, which Noxa found far more plausible, was that the contractor was simply incredibly ignorant. Often imparting inaccurate, or false information due to filling out their contracts in the heat of the moment.
Noxa supposed it would’ve been both, but then again… For the moment she supposed it mattered little. Whatever this greenhorn was hunting was probably way out of his league either way.
“I’ll let you in on a little secret, kid: I am a great hunter myself. I may not look like it, but I am here on a little relaxation trip. I had no idea this area was dangerous — so I didn’t bring any of my gear. Just some stuff for a photo shoot.” Noxa’s arms unraveled themselves from beneath her chest; her hands soon came to hold onto her hips.
“What do you say?” Noxa asked, “I’ll help you on this little ‘adventure’ of yours. I won’t ask for anything in return. All I want to do is see how an alien-born hunter in the same trade as myself performs. Learn something new, you know?”
Just to sweeten the pot and add a little bit more detail Noxa pointed to her eyes, “See these? They are implants — sight augmentation. It helps me hunt in the dark, as well as see a few other things.” Noxa nodded, before repeating her question again; she posed her offer for a last time:
“What do you say? Hunting buddies, for the trip?”
There she stood, with her line cast. Making taking the bait or not was entirely up to him. All the woman could do was stand there amid the darkness of the nighttime forest, awaiting his response. There was a little hint of excitement, too. The woman would be lying if she said there wasn't a good deal of personal interest into whatever he was hunting. Whatever it was, it'd be notorious enough to be persecuted off-world, much like she was. It was also smart enough to actually manage to pull it off — to make a getaway from a war torn world. Something plenty of refugees couldn't manage.
Just what was he hunting?

"How do you know what Zilyana smells like?" He asked with a frown. "I'm pretty sure whatever you are wasn't around on Zilyana. Not a bit." He crossed his arms. "And Its not me I'm smelling. I know my own smell. I've smelled it my whole life." He puffed out his cheeks. "And I am too! This was its last known location! All I have to do is follow the trail it no doubt left behind and then kill it.... And maybe eat it."
He huffed at her, before turning away. He began walking. "You're lying." He said, shutting his eyes. "No self respecting hunter would minimal body armor like that. Even if it was a terrible costume." He stuck his nose up into the air. "I bet you've never even hunted before! Not even killed a deer with your bare hands and ate its heart." He snorted. He didn't even pay her any mind when she explained about her eyes.
"I don't need your help, if you are just going to make fun of my capabilities." He looked back at her and narrowed his eyes. "I don't want to be followed by a jerk."
After that he'd just start walking, heading deeper into the forest. He'd walk, and walk, and walk. He wouldn't stop, even if Noxa followed him for whatever reason. That was until a wet squelch was heard beneath his boot. He stopped and shuttered for a moment before looking down. He held his lantern up to his foot, noting the bright purple goop he had stepped in, and the trail it left behind. He made a face and covered his nose, the smell was horribly foul. Like rotting fish mixed with Rotting eggs. He shook his head and decided to push through it. "I'm close." He muttered.

The air of ‘cute’ had rapidly become something a little annoying. It’s not that his questions and accusations as to Noxa’s knowledge of Zilyana were baseless. By what she had told him his assumptions made perfect sense. However, the logical aspect of it all didn’t ease up on the absolute irritability. Not even in the slightest.
The little arrogant Hunter had more than essentially told Noxa to fuck off. He had called the Bio Android a liar; he had insulted her carapace’s elegant aesthetic; he had insulted her predatory prowess. The woman stood there. Stunned. Should she be angry? She felt like that was definitely the normal course of action, but at the same time there wasn’t any anger to lash out with. No indignation. Words like that coming from someone like HIM just felt absolutely flat. There may have been some sort of underlying humor behind all this, or maybe even pity to be found.
Noxa’s nose twitched. With a grunt she looked down at the weird clothing she had been given. His lingering smell was still stinking up her body. With a split second her carapace had fully shot from her body, returning to its natural position; the clothes she wore casually having been shredded without skipping a beat. The remainders of the clothes lulled to the floor, busted seams and a fluttering cotton dust now littering her at feet.
The scarlet-haired woman had been almost completely certain that he had been here for her. In fact, somewhere in the back of her mind she had almost hoped it was the case… Though that hope was as inane and illogical as the Hunter’s attitude.
Even if Progenitor CXV wasn’t the intended target that did not absolve Noxa from her involvement in this. He still hunted something from Zilyana — something dangerous. Something menacing and apt at killing to that point that it is either: One, used to bait up n’ coming hunter or bounty hunter to their deaths. Or, two, so proficient that it was effectively ran off-world just like she was.
That meant that Noxa would have to deal with this situation one way or another. If this creature wasn’t dealt with it was more than likely just going to bring more attention to its origin — possibly bringing in more off-world bounty hunters to give her a headache. She didn’t want any more attention being brought to Zilyana, its lore, or herself.
This naturally meant Noxa had to make sure this ‘beast’ the boy hunted was efficiently eliminated one way or another, and given his skill it was doubtful that he would be able to kill something of that level. Which, of course, she assumed would be nearing her own power during her arrival on Earth.
Noxa decided to stick to the shadows and follow him until at least daybreak. If, by then, nothing was to take place, she was going to simply leave. The woman, using her ki, began to levitate. The redhead quietly rose amid the branches and leafy canopy of the forest, where she would stay. She moved with care and diligence. Quiet and out of the way, Noxa kept her distance.

-The writer has told me he will be quitting the character and transferring Mako's resources to another character; this thread has come to an abrupt ending.-
For continuity: Noxa watches as Mako successfully kills a random monster. He believed it to be Noxa and lived on his life in blissful ignorance.
I request Power level; he will take zeni.
