After his meeting with Defrosch Lord Retsu had done some thinking. The other Arcosian had challenged him to protect the earth. At the time Retsu had accepted the challenge with little problem, but now he was debating how good of an idea that was. He wasn't the strongest Arcosian out there. Far from it actually, but yet he felt a connection to this planet. The same way he had felt a connection to the one he conquered. It filled him with Determination. The will to get stronger, to train hard and become strong like some others he had met in his life.
Surely the warlords of his race with their power levels in the millions had to train. They couldn't of just Gotten that strong right off the bat could they? Surely not. He was going to have to train like he never had before. Retsu sighed to himself, now standing in the battlefield that was once the spot where he killed his first enemy on the planet. They had attacked for no reason, and as such Retsu saw them as a threat and killed them. Thinking back on it and the challenge he was given, he did a service to the world. Clearly that hybrid had been mentally unstable, and as such killing them would save potential others from being attacked.
A smile crept across his face as he brought up his fists, quickly punching in the air to warm himself up. Nothing was going to stop him from getting stronger.

Thread PL: 283,719 x33 Permanent 9,362,727 It wasn't really anything concrete. It was just simple curiosity. He had felt the power of someone snuff out, someone that felt similar to Kazar. It was rather low, compared to the foolish hybrid, but it was quite close. Perhaps a sibling? Either way, he didn't much care. Most likely, they were doing something stupid. It was the person who had ended them, and the fact they had returned.
He arrived as he typically did. A rift opened in the air, and the massive form stepped out, the folded portal vanishing behind them. Surveying the Arcosian, he stood still for a moment, then bowed, his robes rustling around his massive legs. "Greetings. My name is Walker, one of the warriors of Earth. Who might you be?"
(Sorry it's short, but I just recalled about this)

There was a flash of warning from his scouter when Walker arrived. Retsu turned to face him and stopped to stare. He had seen most species in the galaxy, but Walker was something new. He stared for a few moments as walker bowed and spoke. Retsu quickly shook his head and cleared his throat.
"Good afternoon." He spoke, bowing his head in return. "I am Lord Retsu. Ex-General of the Arcosian Empire." He looked the bio-android up and down quickly before shaking his head. "Please pardon my staring. I've never seen one of your kind before. Its... rare I meet a species I've never once seen."
He quickly brought his hand up to his scouter, tapping its button to read Walker's Powerlevel. What came up... Well Retsu hadn't been ready for it. He took a step back his eyes going wide as he read that power level. "N-nine million, three hundred sixty-two thousand, seven hundred and twenty-seven." He took another step back, completely in awe. "H-How? How is that possible?" He swallowed hard. "How are you that strong? I-I've never seen a power level like that before."

An Arcosian general. Interesting. He had a fairly average strength, but he was polite for once. Usually, these munchkins felt the need to bluster and brag about their might. He was wearing a scouter, so it seemed unlikely he had sensed him beforehand. A genuinely polite introduction. How refreshing. "I am Walker, and what I am could not properly be called a species. I was formed from the wooden tomb of a Demon, the magic of a Namekian, and a Human's will. I suppose I am closest to what you would call a Biological Android."
The tree couldn't help but chuckle slightly at the shock. "Would you believe me if I said lots of practice? In truth, it is perhaps through stubbornness. Even now, I refuse to accept my current state, my current limits of power. I admit, I had never seen the exact number before. Intriguing." He laughed gently, eyes closing for a moment. "Still... I am not the only one at my level." Pausing, he thought for a moment. "The Queen of the SSE, Zuccetta. Administrator Azure of the Blue Banner Army, current leader of Earth. Another Android, whose name I will not say out of respect. Then there is the former master of the Crane School, Kaula, and a few potentials. These are the beings who I would estimate are on par with myself, or perhaps even slightly stronger." Vipoi could surpass Walker with his Overdrive, and Zuccetta was a clever fighter with more experience than the tree.
He was curious about how this Retsu would react, but also about one more thing. Turning away slightly, he peered around, and asked casually "So, why did you kill them?"

"That is.... Quite the backstory." He said, still dealing with the shock of being in the pressence of something that completely smashed his perception of strength. He swallowed hard and tried to regain his composure. He brought his hands behind his body and shut his eyes before he began to take a few deep breaths, trying to calm himself.
"I... I suppose I could. Its the only conclusion that would make any sense. Practice. I just didn't know you could get that strong. The strongest I've seen is five hundred thousand." He swallowed once more as Walker began listing off those with similar power levels. Retsu clenched his fist tight and stomped a foot, causing a crater.
"DAMNIT!" He shouted. "How is the Monkey queen so damned powerful?" He seemed to glare at nothing. "No wonder Arcose didn't stand a chance." He got over that anger quickly however, returning to his calmed tone. "...I... Apologize for that."
When the question came of him killing someone he blinked. "Why did I kill who?" He asked. He looked around the battlefield then frowned. "...Oh. Right." A sigh escaped him and he shook his head. "That fool is dead because of their own decision. They attacked me for no reason, attempting to kill me. When I asked for a reason they spouted off nonsense about some master turning them into a woman and then the reason for trying to kill me. Because I made a Noise." He stared at Walker. "A NOISE." He brought a hand up to the bridge of his nose and pinched it. "...Clearly they were mentally unstable and violent... So I got rid of them for the betterment of literally everyone."

Blinking, the sorcerous tree watched Retsu react with rage to his comment. "If it makes you feel any better, I met Empress Wyntre in the afterlife, and again after we had both returned. Not sure how she managed it, actually. I just tore a hole in reality and escaped, but she didn't seem to have figured out Riftwalking when I met her." Speaking of that disastrous day, actually.... He listened carefully to Retsu's story. Frowning slightly, he almost disbelieved it. Someone turning their opponent into a woman? It sounded as though they were fighting a total lunatic. Then, a memory surfaced. Celmaru had been hanging around Ayumu, that odd old man he had met in the Fortuneteller's desert. It had been mentioned at one point that he had a technique that could change someone's gender. Interesting... given Celmaru's occasional encounters with Kazar, it made sense that he and potentially a family member would also have encountered Ayumu. It was reasonable, but the odds of someone guessing enough to propose that randomly seemed quite hard to believe. He looked down at the Arcosian, silent for a moment. After a slightly longer than necessary pause, he chuckled. "I believe you. I originally noticed the fight because it felt rather like Kazar Winters, a Saiyan hybrid I had encountered, and another participant came to my home recently.Kazar was similarly irrational, once attempting to block an attack of perhaps 5,000 or so with a massive blast, which would have likely killed many of the people in the buildings around him. He then claimed I was a monster for knocking him out before he could kill numerous civilians with his idiocy." Raising one hand, he gestured, and a slightly wavy image appeared in the air. It replayed the events of Wyntre's return, and Kazar's stupidly overdramatic attempt to defend Walker. Scratching the side of his face, the tree shrugged. "So, if the person you fought was any relation, I'm more than willing to assume they were... what was that term I heard from Sergeant Correrro... Ah yes. 'An Apocalyptic Fuckhat', that was it." He said this in the same polite, deep voice he always used. It was a bit coarse, but he really wasn't overly impressed with the Winters and their shenanigans.

"I'm afraid Empress Wyntre holds no power any longer. The Empire is in the hands of someone else now." He shook his head. "Its one of the reasons I'm no longer part of the empire, besides the fact that ours literally crumbled with the fall of Arcose." He sighed. "I ran into another of my Kind. His name was Defrosch and he told me of someone named Koldar, whom was working for someone to reunite the empire."
He'd fall silent as Walker went on to speak about Kazar. An odd story indeed. "If he was so mentally unstable why did you not just kill him?" He asked. "I know its probably not the way for other races. But when you see someone like that you have a duty to rid them from the world. Its clear he's a threat, and dangerous to the inhabitants of this world, so why not just Pluck away his life before he does any Real damage?" He'd watch the events through the image produced and frowned. "If anything he is the monster. I've always been one to keep collateral Damage and death to a minimum. Even when conquering planets it was about keeping the planet as intact as possible. After all, how productive can a people be when their homes and work places are destroyed? Its a waste."
He blinked for a moment, after Walker had repeated the term he had heard. He cleared his throat for a moment. " Yes well... They had to die. It was too much trouble to keep them alive. I had the help of a saiyan purebreed by the name of Raima as well. She aided me in fighting them, and then we spared. I ended up being victorious, as I shattered her shoulder bones."

Nodding, Walker crossed his arms. "I considered eliminating Kazar, but he had not done anything overtly damaging. If he had actually killed civilians, I would done so, but as no such thing occurred, I elected to hope he becomes wiser for the admonishment." It was a rather harsh one, to be sure. The technique he had used had fired at his full power, and even with only a portion hitting Kazar, it was enough to knock him out of the fight. Still, after his reckless decision to show off, the imbecile deserved it. He was also rather impressed to see that Retsu was a pragmatic sort. It seemed the Arcosians he had met favored such things, a trait that was quite preferable to the chaos and destruction the SSE seemed to enjoy. Either way, he approved.
"I know. Raima is one of the reasons I noticed the fight. She had visited my home not long before the fight, and I found her quite interesting. Feeling her in battle sparked my interest." He gestured to the area. "When I felt the unknown quantity in that encounter return, I decided to come and see who it was." So far, he was quite intrigued. Retsu seemed pragmatic, reasonably strong, and respectful. He needed to train quite a bit, but that could easily be rectified. "You say you left the AE. Do you intend to return at some point?"

"Even if he didn't kill anyone, it is perhaps a better idea to get rid of him before he does. Nip it in the butt, as I've heard humans say." He looked Walker up and down after speaking before shaking his head and sighing.
"I see. That would explain why someone of your enormous power would approach me. Compared to you my power, even at full is nothing compared to yours." He chuckled softly. "If I had been saiyan I would of probably attacked you and would be dead now. They are impulsive like that." He smiled to himself at the thought of a saiyan dying so quickly in battle, a chuckle escaping him. Then came Walker's question about the Empire. He frowned and sighed. "I do not." He said. "Not as it is now at least. Should our empire return to its former power and might, I will gladly rejoin. But should we stay broken I believe it would be better to stay away. Perhaps forge my own path away from the prying eyes of the other Lords."
He thought for a few moments before speaking. "Though... I suppose I cannot call myself a lord any longer can I? I no longer rule over a planet, as it was destroyed by a meteorite. I only just narrowly escaped." He shook his head and shut his eyes. "I suppose I am just Retsu now..."

The tree chuckled as well. "Yes, they are, aren't they? I had a relative of my friend's try just that. My response was to catch her Ki blast in one hand, and paralyze her with telekinesis. She seemed quite shocked." It seemed the Arcosian was a rather practical type. Interesting. "I see. Well then, I am curious as to what you plan, exactly."
No longer a lord, then? Sensible, the empire was in shambles. "The Lords go without Thrones, it seems. Still, titles only have as much meaning as you give them, in the end. It is a shame you were unable to defend the planet, but it seems you had little choice in the matter. I must ask... How did you go about conquering and ruling this planet?" His robes flapped slightly in the wind, revealing an emblem that the Arcosian would likely not be familiar with. A silhouette of a tree, with a strangely shaped claw in front of it. The emblem of the Wild Hunt, not that he had any way to know this. Still, the Arcosian had intrigued him, and he seemed pragmatic and not the type to inflict needless cruelty. It was possible he was lying, but it didn't seem like it.
Perhaps... yes. "You know, there are other factions on this world, and others. There was the Galactic Patrol, or the Blue Banner Army, the Z-Fighters, and Wild Hunt." Purposefully leaving the last hanging, Walker waited to see how Retsu would react. It seemed like a good fit, but that remained to be seen.

Retsu would stay silent as Walker spoke. He shut his eyes, taking in Walker's words before he spoke. "I suppose I can keep my title. I may not rule over a planet any longer, but I still act as I did then." When the question came about how he conquered and ran the planet he opened his eyes. "At first I had my army make a foot hold. A base of operations. The people of the planet, although weak from a civil war banded against me and began fighting my army. They threw everything at me and both of our sides had very heavy casualties with alot of Collateral Damage. I became rather sick of the killing. It's a shame when something dies when it shouldn't have."
He sighed. "So I gave them an ultimatum. I would duel their worlds strongest hero in one on one combat. If I won, they gave me rule of the planet. If I lost, I and my army would leave. I won, and as such became a lord. My Opponent became my right hand man, and I helped them rebuild, even fixed up their economy as time passed." He nodded. "If the planet hadn't been destroyed I'm sure we would of reached a golden age of Prosperity. I gave them peace of mind. They would be defended from threats, and they had a stable government once again."
He noted the Emblem, giving it a quick glance before looking back up to Walker's face. "I know of many factions yes. Earth is extremely popular. Even planets in the outter rim have heard of it and wish to be it." At the mention of the Galactic Patrol his expression soured however. "Galactic Patrol. They try to police the galaxy but don't understand they have no real power." He sighed and shook his head. "I was told of the blue banner by those I work for now, though I have not heard of the Z-Fighters, or the Wild Hunt before."
He brought a hand up to his chin, tapping it. "Though if I go by their names... Z-Fighters sound a bit like a mercenary group. Perhaps going planet to planet, taking odd jobs? As for the Wild Hunt..." He tapped his foot and was silent before snapping. "Bounty Hunters! Bounty Hunters with no rules. Hence the Wild in their name." He smiled and chuckled. "Am I correct?"

The tree chuckled. "Not precisely. We are... I suppose you would say we are those with more honorable intentions, but more realistic views of the world. For example, ones who would not let a murderer walk away out of some misguided belief of "mercy", or that simply beating them was enough to stop them. Rather like what you did with this half-Saiyan, and what I should have done with Kazar." Shrugging slightly, he gestured around. "There are elements of this universe that should not be allowed to run as rampant as they do. ESPECIALLY the deluded fools who endanger others while trying to show off, laying false claim to an undeserved title of hero."
Kazar had nearly killed many, and Plato had believed himself a hero for planning a genocide. It was clear that there were many problems that must be solved. Still, he couldn't do it alone. "I wonder... you said you had lost your cause. If only for a while, would you be interested in perhaps aiding mine? It's not particularly odious as duties go." He looked around, then laughed. "I suppose in a sense, you did it already. So, in this case... I suppose I'm offering you my own assistance, and that of others, if similar situations arise. Although I guess you could turn in bounties too, I don't really use money that much."

Retsu fell silent once more, listening closely to the Bio-android's words. He shut his eyes and nodded. "I see." He said when Walker finished speaking. "I've always found mercy only viable for those that you know wont do anything wrong. Such as a child, or say a random civilian... Those whom are mentally unstable, or a true threat don't deserve it. They deserve to be wiped out so they can't cause harm to those around them." Retsu smiled, a soft laugh escaping him. "Oh yes. Especially those that parade around with the title of hero. Those that pine for it and the kind that often will do anything for it."
"I have lost my cause yes. I haven't had much to do since I got here, except live on a farm and help the people that own it." He closed his mouth as Walker continued, thinking to himself as the conversation continued. He shut his eyes and nodded for a moment. "Gain like minded allies, and those the likes of which are stronger than me? It almost sounds too good to be true." The Arcosian opened his eyes and chuckled to himself. "But I wont allow this opportunity to pass me by..." Retsu extended his hand, offering a handshake. "I accept your invitation."
