Namorel
Powerlevel: 2,700
"Father... I-I'm sorry... I maybe could have done something... I could have saved you." A young Namorel sat in a cave, sobbing with his hands pressed against his tiny face with tears racing down his arms and into his lap. He sat alone in a small cave, so deep with in that light was almost completely estinguished. Namorel almost always came here whenever he was upset for some reason, but he never went back this far. He had faced a sadness one his age should never have to suffer through.
"Namorel... are you there? Everyone is worried about you." A voice, a soft and calming male voice, echoed through the cavern. An elderly namekian was trekking through the cavern, keeping his hand pressed agains the wall as to not lose is balance or way. "I know you are hurt... you more so than the others. Your father, he was a great man." The elder namekian pressed his hand against Namorel's head in an attempt to calm him, to bring him back out to his brothers so they all mourn together.
Namorel turned to look up at the older namekian, tears still streaming down his face, he was very, very young and much smaller than the fully grown elder. "I could have saved him... maybe I could have done something..." Namorel stammered out, still chocking on his own tears as he tried to speak. His small eyes looked up to his elder namekian with a loss of hope and full of conviction. He was hoping for answers or at least comfort in the older namekian, somehow also knowing there was almost nothing the older namekian could do for Namorel right now.
The elder namekian looked down at the smaller Namorel, sadness in his eyes and a frown lining the lack of answers in his mind. "YOu can't dwell on it Namorel... everything must die eventually." The elder spoke to Namorel, he was running out of words to offer the small green man. After this he turned his back on the small namekian. "When you are ready to join us... come and find me." The namekian spokke to NAmorel, letting out a sigh as he walked back towards the exit of the cavern. Leaving the small namekian on his lonesome to deal with the loss he had faced.
Namorel always felt like his father was taken from him too soon, like it was planned. Namorel always felt like there was an opportunity he missed to save his father. He was almost always by his father's side when he wasn't training with his peers to be a namekian warrior, his father happeneed to pass during one of those times. THe cause of his death was seen as unknown, but many of the dragon clan assumed it was merely a natural death of old age, but Namorel found it hard to see it this way, seeing as he saw his father as a purely healthy namekian despite his age.
Namorel's eyes shot open, he had awoken from an intense meditation, sweat pouring down his face as the memories flooded to him. He felt a small amount of tears pooled beneath his eyes as well. "Why am I still plagued by the thought of your death?" Namorel asked himself angrily, anger simmering from his core. He didn't know why he was angry, te emotion just flooded over him due to the memory.
He once more closed his eyes and felt his mind spiral, swoopingly slowly into another memory from so long ago. Another time of emotional stress on the namekian.
It occurred not too long after the death of his father, a few years actually... it was the day he started to train with his peers again. The day he realized the gap in power that had occurred between him and his fellow trainees. Resentment began to grow in his heart, grief and envy tore at his very being, how could he be strong enough to defend others if he was this much weaker than his peers?
"I can't get any rest with these damned dreams. I need to resolve them.. to uncover teh meaning of what my elder meant..." Namorel said to himself as he rose to his feet, putting his namekian shoes on. He stepped out of the cave and looked up to the moon. "Much has happened since I left, and yet little has changed. Forgive me father." Namorel then stepped outside for a midnight training session.
