”I think that’s an excellent idea. Both of you step away. Now.” A tall woman with braided brown hair and a loose, red kimono that showed off the dragon tattoo on her right shoulder walked onto the battlefield. She carried a glaive with her, and was currently looking back and forth between each side of the fight with a stern look on her face. The woman had tossed a look up to the man that was spectating above to acknowledge the fact that he was there, but that was definitely not where her attention was focused at the moment. Kaiyo looked over in the woman’s direction as soon as she heard that all too familiar voice. ”What the hell are you doing here, An? This doesn’t involve you!” the teenage growled rather loudly. Her stomping on the Saiyan beneath her had ceased for the moment. ”I could say those exact words to you, Kai. That’s enough from you. Step off,” Anzu snapped back at her younger sister. ”Normally I don’t care about your nightly adventures. However, when I wake up in the middle of the night and feel that kind of power coming from just outside of the city, all of that goes out the window.”The younger of the two of them clenched her fists and was about to shout something back at her sister, but she was met with a harsh glare before she could utter even a single word. Even in her altered state of mind, she knew very well that Anzu wasn’t playing around. Kaiyo gritted her teeth and reluctantly took a few wobbly steps away from the downed Saiyan. She was keeping her eye on him though. The moment he tried to stand up and attempt anything funny, she would disregard her sister’s warning and resume the trashing. ”As for you...” Anzu turned to the Saiyan that was currently threatening Athren’s life, satisfied with Kaiyo for the moment. ”I don’t know why you’re here. Frankly, I don’t care either. What I do care about is you causing trouble around my city.” Anzu took a few steps closer to the two of them and rested the pole of her glaive on her covered shoulder. The harshness in her tone had let up just a little bit compared to when she was talking to her sibling, but there was still no mistaking that she meant business. ”Whatever you came here to try to do is now forfeit. If you wish to leave here alive or with what little pride you have still intact, you have one option. Leave the guy next to you alone and immediately go gather up your friend over there. You said his name was Celric, right? Once Celric has been secured, fly away. Don’t bother looking back. Don’t bother trying to make excuses. Don’t bother trying to do any further harm to your opponent.”Anzu motioned over to Kaiyo to back further away from the downed Saiyan, which again she reluctantly obliged. She then motioned to the one she was talking to once the way was completely clear for him. Had the only remaining scouter not been attached to the side of Athren’s face, it would have told him that Anzu’s power level was sitting at well below the 100 mark. However, judging by how Kaiyo reacted to her even in such an enraged and empowered state, it was clear that she was suppressing her true power. ”The choice is yours. What’s even better for you is that this way you can return home and spin whatever story you want about what happened here today. If you decide to ignore what I’ve said, I suppose the first thing I could do would be to lop off both of your tails and send you back even more bloody and broken than you are now. This isn’t the first time I’ve tangoed with Saiyans. How would your buddies react to the two of you returning home thoroughly beaten and missing your tails, only to later find out that it was a couple of human women that you had lost to?”

He watches the proceedings with interest and realizes he s no longer needed to ensure the survival of the two , he still watches though just incase . After a bit he begins to fly off after waving "I'm gonna be so late on this case " he says with a smile in spite of himself
(He has no real other reason to be here anymore so I'm going to make another thread for his case )

Zaleio looked over at the new comer, his eyes scanned her down from head to toe slowly as she wasn't anything but a play toy to him. "Tough talk for such a small thing. You really aught to watch that mouth of yours woman." Giving Athren one more boot he cancelled out his Kiblast that he had been waiting to use on Athren. He surely intended to get back to Athren once these two women were dealt with.
" After I shut you and that other girl up, I might just use the both of you as my toys for a little while. Before I kill you that is." He then paused, only to continue as he began to slowly approached Anzu. " Those so called saiyan's that you've dealt with must have been pathetic low life scum if you're still around to talk about the encounter. I'm a true saiyan warrior, a saiyan elite and I won't lose to either of earthlings." Without his scouter Zaleio was clueless as to how strong they actually were, little would he know this would be the ending of his time on the Earth. If he wasn't so stubborn and didn't put other races below him, he'd actually realize the potential of these two earth women.
With that, Zaleio lunged himself forward and used his Ki to push himself quicker. "Now I'll show you what a real saiyan is capable of!" He cocked his fist back and as he got closed he prepared to launch it.

Anzu threw her head back and laughed rather loudly up at the night sky at the man’s comment. She then focused her red eyes back on the mouthy Saiyan with a smirk on her face. ”And YOU talk tough for someone who’s only sitting at around a power level of five thousand. I haven’t been that low for a few years. Tell me, what’s it like being so frail? I’ve forgotten the feeling,” she snickered. "I might have had cause for concern if there was a full moon in the sky, but that’s poor planning on your part.”
Head on approach, huh? Anzu had just the thing for him. She stood rooted to the spot, hips cocked to one side and arms crossed over her chest. She still wore her confident smirk, even as he lunged right for her. However, when he launched his fist at Anzu, the Saiyan would find that she was completely intangible. It was an afterimage technique. Suddenly, the older of the Habane sisters appeared right behind him and grabbed him by the tail, clenching her fist down on it. ”I’m sorry, what were you saying Mr. Saiyan Elite?”
Kaiyo watched the scene from her spot next to Celric. Or, she was trying to at least. The incredible surge of energy that had filled her form was starting to fade. The crippling pain that had wracked her body before her transformation was coming back, and she soon found herself unable to remain standing. The red haired teenager collapsed onto her back and found herself staring up at the starry sky above her, listening to what was happening on the battlefield not too far away from her position when she wasn’t too busy groaning in pain.
Anzu continued to tighten her grip on the furry appendage, listening to the Saiyan cry out in pain as he stood there paralyzed. She had warned him that she would make his life miserable if he stuck around. Why the hell did all of these Saiyans have to be so prideful? It seriously got in the way of their better judgment. Oh well, she was about to show him that the women of the Habane family weren’t to be trifled with, and that they always kept their word.
While holding him in place, Anzu gave the back of his head a hard whack with the pole of her glaive. She then swung him by the tail and smashed him down face first into the dirt. Stretching out her arm until his tail was taut, she then made a swift cut at the base of it with her blade, completely severing it from his body. The dark haired woman tossed the severed appendage to the ground, mere inches away from his face. ”What’s the matter? Can’t handle playing with a mere toy? You’ve got until I finish up with my sister over there to gather up what’s left of your dignity and get off of my planet. If you want to wait and take your soon-to-be tailless friend over there with you, go for it.”
Anzu paused for a moment to survey the area. Her sibling had finally fallen to the ground, that Celric fellow hadn’t moved at all, and the one that she had heard called Athren was still passed out it looked like. ”Try anything funny and you’re going to be finding your way home with broken limbs on top of the loss of your tail. I won’t hesitate to demonstrate what this ‘small thing’ can do a second time. Or a third. Or a fourth,” she called back to him as she made her way towards Athren. After all, he was the closest one to her at the moment and might be able to shed some light on what the hell had happened here if she could get him to wake up.
Once she had reached him, the human woman pulled out a couple of Senzu Beans that she had tucked beneath her belt. They had been left over since the last adventure she had gone on with her mother, and decided to grab them when she had first sensed the battle from their apartment. Pressing down on his chin with a single finger just enough to get his mouth open, Anzu popped one of the beans in there before shutting it and nudging the side of his face a bit. ”Hey, if you can hear me in there, try to swallow that. It’s time to rise and shine,” she spoke to him before moving away and walking in the direction of Kaiyo and Celric.
Celric, who she decided to stop at first, appeared to be quite unconscious as well. He was still breathing though. She lightly kicked him over so that he was lying flat on his stomach. Anzu then removed his tail with her glaive much like she had with the other guy. The older of the Habane sisters finished the job by grabbing one of his ankles and flinging him across the makeshift arena to land a few feet away from the first Saiyan she had taken care of.
”Kai, Kai, Kai... What am I going to do with you?” Anzu sighed, moving to stand over her immobilized sister. ”Sh-Shut up. I was doing just fine,” the younger of the two of them groaned. ”That must be why you’re sitting here in a pile of bruises and broken bones. I’m going to want a word with you when we get home. Now, open up.”
Kaiyo scowled but did as she was instructed and opened her mouth. She watched as Anzu dropped the last of the two Senzu Beans and gulped it down the moment it hit her tongue. The pain started to fade away as she felt her body begin to mend itself. The teenager wasn’t looking forward to the earful she was going to get back at the apartment, but it was better than longing for the sweet relief of unconsciousness. Maybe...

Weakly, Athren chewed and swallowed what ever was in his mouth. The taste really didn't suit him but what followed him swallowing it did. It happened so quickly too, his body felt one hundred percent healthy regardless of the beating and battering that he had received before and the best thing was that now there wasn't even a bruise on him to show it. Not only that but Athren's energy level went back to normal, it was almost like he hadn't fought at all today.
Quickly Athren's eyes opened. Once they were opened all he saw was dirt. He turned his head and then looked up into the beautiful night sky. He then placed his palms above his shoulders and pushed off up the ground, getting airborne he slammed his feet into the ground and look around. He saw Brahma's dark and cold corpse where it had been left, he had then seen Celric down followed by Zaleio on a knee in disbelief and he didn't have a tail and he wasn't feeling the greatest.
Athren's eyes then landed on Anzu and Kaiyo, with a faint smirk on his face he slowly walked over. His eyes tried to lock onto hers. " What the hell brought you to follow me? This wasn't your fight and you could've been killed over it." His voice was a little bit stern at the moment. If she had been killed and he happened to live he couldn't have settled with it too easily. She was the first person to ever step in and really help him in a dire situation and he wouldn't want that first person getting killed over his problems. "But...." His voice softened up as he lifted his right hand to scratch the back of his head. He was preparing to say thank you, but it was slightly difficult considering, it would show on his face that he was quite grateful for her arrival as he assumed he wouldn't be having this conversation if she didn't.
He then looked to Anzu and dropped his right hand only to raise his left to press the button on his scouter to try and get an accurate power level reading. "And who the hell are you?" he didn't mean to come off rude, but he didn't know her at all and he didn't know what part she had in this other than assisting him with his. Looking to them both, or back and forth he asked another serious question that kind of confused him. "What the hell happened? I don't remember much after taking that blast for you and as for those two, Wouldn't hurt to finish the bastards off." It was true that Athren had fought a little longer after it, but he was too weak and struggling. He couldn't focus on the then and there so it really wasn't stuck in his head, all he knew was that he had hit the ground and been defeated by Zaleio very shortly after he had taken that Kiblast for Kaiyo.

”You’re welcome,” Kaiyo grumbled as she climbed to her feet. She briefly returned the eye contact before walking over the where she had tossed her hoodie at the very beginning of the fight. She was able to get a good look at the battlefield now that she was back on her feet. Anzu really did a number on that bastard. Tossing the oversized article of clothing over her shoulder, she returned to her spot next to Athren and her sister.
Kaiyo opened her mouth and was about to answer his question, only to realize that she was a little hazy on the details. She remembered charging head on at Celric and getting her ass kicked big time. The teenager could still hear her bones being crushed and snapped like they were nothing. Her memory got a little bit fuzzy after that point. She knew she got seriously pissed off to the point that she was looking to see some blood, but it was hard to recall much more than that.
”Well, when I got here, Kai was stomping the daylights out of that Celric guy. I think the other one was about to do you in over there though,” Anzu spoke up, placing her glaive at her feet before crossing her arms over her chest. ”I tried giving them a chance to get out of here with what few bruises they had at that point, but no. And what do they have to show for it? No tails or dignity, that’s for sure.” She made sure to raise her voice for that last part, making sure that she would be heard by the two downed Saiyans assuming that they were still conscious.
At Athren’s suggestion to finish the both of them off, Anzu shrugged her shoulders. ”I don’t know. I think it might be kind of amusing to send them back to where they came from in this state, bloodied and beaten at the hands of a pair of human women. I know you Saiyans don’t generally see us capable fighters,” she said with a bit of a laugh. The elder of the two Habane sisters then looked to Kaiyo with a mischievous look in her eyes and a grin from ear to ear. ”What do you think Kai? Think we should take a picture and send it to Planet Vegeta?”
”I think you should have stayed home and let me take care of it. I had everything under control,” Kaiyo replied, a scowl still on her face. ”Keep telling yourself that. Sorry, but I would rather not piss Mom off by showing up to the next family reunion with a corpse for a sister. You should just be lucky that I still had a couple of leftover Senzu Beans on me, or you would be stuck in a hospital bed.”
Kaiyo grumbled something under her breath before looking out into the distance. It was obvious that she wasn’t happy about the fight had turned out, and even less so that her sister had seen what had happened. Anzu couldn’t help but chuckle at her sister’s behavior before ruffling her bright red pigtails and earning a small growl from her. She then turned her attention back to Athren. ”Anyway, they called you Athren, right? The name’s Anzu. I guess it’s up to you what you do with those punks since it’s not really any of my business. I would like to ask what the story is with them though.”

Athren arched a brow as he listened to their conversation and how they bickered. It was quite amusing to see how these two got along. Especially since he found out they were sisters. He didn't have any siblings and didn't quite understand why they acted like that, but it put a smirk on his face regardless. He remained quite up until the point where Anzu's attention turned to him.
In the meantime, His scouter read her power level. It stated that it was at 75. With a confused look on his face Athren pressed the button to turn it off. ~ She's either hiding her power level somehow.. or something else did this to these two saiyans.. Maybe Kaiyo did it all?~ Whatever the situation was, Athren really didn't care.. but this did have him stumped.
Once asked the question, Athren responded with an honest answer and tried to give as much detail as he could possibly remember. "My story? It's quite simple actually." Upon saying this Athren had saw Zaleio walk over to Celric and toss him over his shoulder. He then began to fly away.
~ The hell with it, I'll let the bastards go..~ Against his better judgement he figured he'd let them go. If they came back he'd make sure he was stronger and more prepared for them. It would be a good way to test his abilities in the future and if he ever went home he could potentially rub this whole situation in but that was unlikely to happen.
"Anyway, As I was saying.. The events that led to this start back on Planet Vegeta.." he paused, trying to figure out all the little details in his head before continuing. " If you know the saiyan race, you'd know that a full blooded saiyan is always born with pitch black eyes and a brown tail.. " He'd then flail his tail and make it obvious for her to see the grey colour. "Somehow, I'm an exception. I've got this grey tail and blue eyes and I'm not sure why.. It caused me to be a target for all the other saiyans. I was picked at and beat up often for it. Though I'm grateful for that as it did make me a stronger fighter. Anyway, A few weeks ago I decided to go get some training out in a wasteland.. Those three clowns that you just helped fight off decided to follow me. Long story short they decided to gang up on me, knock me out, toss me in a ship and send me here.." He paused again and looked around the battlefield.
"Then they showed up here, apparently blowing up residence in the process and found me.. and you see the obvious outcome of their visit." With that Athren stopped and glanced at Kaiyo before attempting eye contact with Anzu. "That's pretty much it. This all happened because I'm different. Shitty, Isn't it?" With that he looked off in the distance.. he wasn't too impressed with it all, but he simply had to roll with the punches.

Hearing movement behind her, Anzu turned her head to see both Saiyans flying off into the night. ”Aww, that’s too bad. I was kinda looking forward to having a quick photo shoot with them before they left,” she sighed before turning back to the other two. She noticed Athren lookin in their direction as well, but he seemed to have decided against finishing the job.
Anzu listened carefully to Athren as he told his story. Even Kaiyo stopped her grumbling and turned to face him. Sure she had gotten bits and pieces of it already, but she hadn’t actually heard the whole thing up until this point. Yikes. She already knew that the society he came from didn’t accept him from because of his looks, and she had already kind of had an idea that the three they had fought had been the three he had mentioned in his story earlier, but the teenage had no idea that they had left him homeless. That was rough...
”Man, that sucks. I was wondering why you looked a bit off from the other Saiyans I had run into. Seems like a stupid reason to alienate someone,” the elder of the two Habane sisters commented before turning to look at her sibling. ”And how did you get mixed up in all of this?” Kaiyo seemed to flinch a bit as Anzu turned her attention to her. ”Well, I lit a dumpster on fire, we talked for a bit, and then those assholes showed up and started causing problems. I wasn’t gonna just stay out of it. It’s not like there’s anything else to do around here at night. Besides, he dropped his computer thing...”
Anzu looked back and forth between Kaiyo and Athren, studying them both for a few moments before laughing again. She was still planning on giving Kaiyo a talking to later, but there was something about the situation that she found amusing. ”You mean to say that he saw your pyrokinesis act up and you two still managed to have a nice little chat? That’s a first,” she commented lightheartedly. Most people didn’t react well to someone when they learned that said person could make things spontaneously combust around them, even less so when such an ability seemingly happened at random. Maybe it was because the guy was a Saiyan who had been through plenty of crap in his life already. Still, she thought it was good that Kaiyo finally had someone to talk to that she didn’t scare off.
”Sounds like you’ve been through a lot. You said that they destroyed the place you were staying at, right? If you don’t mind sleeping on a couch, you can come crash with us at our apartment. It’s kind of small, but you’d have a roof over your head. All you have to do is clean up after yourself and keep the noise down when I’m trying to sleep,” Anzu offered with a grin after turning back to Athren.
Kaiyo looked up at her sister and raised an eyebrow. ”You sure about that, An? You’ve known the guy for less than five minutes.” ”Of course I’m sure. What? Do you have any objections?” The teenager looked at Athren and shook her head. She didn’t have any problems with the guy at all. She just thought it was a weird thing to suggest out of the blue like that. ”Good. Now that that’s settled, what do you think Athren? Feel like sharing an apartment with two other misfits?”

At first Athren's eyes went wide with surprise, he couldn't believe what she had just asked her. Figuring out that these two were siblings by this point Athren replied ensuring that he had heard her right. "Wait - What? Did you just offer me a place to stay..?!" He couldn't really believe this. He went from his home planet and getting abused and beat on to.. a girl saving his life and another offering him shelter. Really, since he had been here his life had gotten better.
After sounding like a clown Athren scratched his head. "Well.. " He didn't want to say yes but at this point he didn't have a choice. "If you're sure this is okay.. I will. I mean I need a place to stay.. Though, I've got a few conditions before we go through with this.. First.." He didn't mean to be picky here, but it was for their own good. He didn't give a damn about himself at the moment, he simply didn't want to cause shit for them. " Mark down every single damn full moon on a calender or something, I really don't want to wander outside during a full moon.." At this time, He glared at Anzu assuming that she would know why. "Second, Let me know what time you's wake up and sleep.. Just so I can be a little bit more considerate and respectful of your space." Otherwise, he really couldn't think of much else to say. He didn't want to be loud and wake them up..
He glanced over to Kaiyo quickly with a faint smirk before looking off at Brahma's corpse, he didn't want to look at her too long. That would probably be awkward. " Uhh, and.. I think that's it. Though I'll only stay until I find somewhere else... That's probably best. Plus, I'll probably be out training a lot.. So.. I guess I wouldn't be in the way that much.. but yeah. I'll stay with you's.." It probably would have been a little bit obvious that he wasn't quite himself at the moment, or at least that he was out of character for a saiyan. The whole situation felt overwhelming and new to him. He didn't really know how to take it. Another thing was that he really didn't want to get too attached and he may find that difficult considering he found a light interest in Kaiyo. Her abilities were unique and she was pretty, really what more does a man need to go on to want to get to know somebody better? Hell, this could be a bad situation.. but he did need somewhere to stay.. What the hell could he lose... Right?

”Hmm... did I?” Anzu asked playfully. ”Why yes, I believe I did.” The dark haired woman definitely had her reasons for making such an offer to the Saiyan in which she had just met. It was about time that her sister stopped moping about and actually had a friend to talk to. If there was one staying in their apartment that she knew wasn’t scared off by her pyrokinesis, that would be a pretty big first step for that. For now, she just listened as Athren named off his two conditions, taking note of his glare when the full moon had been mentioned. ”Ah, good thinking on that one. It had almost slipped my mind,” she answered nonchalantly. ”Both of those are fine.”
Kaiyo looked back and forth between them with questioning eyes. What the hell were they talking about? However, Anzu shook her head at her before she could ask. Damn it, she hated being kept in the dark. She would just have to ask them later, or do a little digging herself. ”Stay as long as you want, but I gotta remind you. The dumpster back there? Not an isolated incident. There’s a reason the apartment is packed full of fire extinguishers. Do you know how to work one?” Kaiyo asked as she reached into the pocket of the hoodie hanging from her arm. She pulled out the small, red canister that she had been carrying with her all night and tossed it to him. ”It’s important to know if you’re going to be staying with us.”
Anzu moved to place her hand on Kaiyo’s shoulder. ”Speaking of fire, could you pop on over back to the apartment and brew some coffee? I’m going to need a cup if I’m going to stay awake for work tomorrow.” ”Huh? Aren’t we all heading there anyway?” ”We’ll be right behind you. I needed to go over a couple more things, but you know that old coffee maker of ours. It takes forever to get going.” Kaiyo eyed her sister warily. She wasn’t stupid; Anzu definitely had something up her sleeve. Unfortunately, there was no arguing with her on this. With a defeated sigh, the teenager waved at Athren before taking off back to the city at full speed.
The younger of the two was no longer in sight, Anzu turned back to Athren. ”I actually have a third condition as well,” she spoke in a bit of a lower tone than before. ”Don’t tell Kaiyo I told you this, but I want you to talk to her. Her pyrokinesis hit her a lot harder than it hit me when she started showing signs of it. She refuses to open up to me about a lot of things and has basically shut me out of everything I don’t HAVE to be there for. Having someone to talk to would do her some good.”
Having said that, Anzu turned and started walking in the direction of West Capitol. ”Assuming that's alright with you, shall we go?”

Athren watched as Kaiyo had left, what was said next wasn't to Athren's expectations. He didn't really expect to be asked to talk to Kaiyo. I mean he was going to be living there, wasn't he? He didn't really have much of a choice in the matter. Even if he did have a choice though, he would still make an effort to communicate with the girl.
"Really, That's all you've got for me..? Is to talk to your sister. Consider it done." Athren figured that it would be quite an easy thing to do. Though, It could go terribly wrong at any point in time. With the fire extinguisher in his hand he smiled lightly. "I really don't think I'll be needing this." With that he quickly tossed it aside. It wasn't that he felt confident in her abilities to not burn him. It was simply the fact that he believed in his own abilities far too much. I mean how much damage can fire do to a saiyan warrior? Right?
"Yeah, I think I'm ready. Nothing left for me here." With that Athren lifted himself off the ground a couple feet and would have followed Anzu to the apartment building. His last glance of the battlefield laid onto the dead body of Brahma. Athren smirked before looking ahead to see where he was going.
With that, They would have slowly made it to the city and to their destination.. Athren's last words that could be heard from the battlefield that he had just made would have been. "What the hell is a coffee?"
