"My.. My size is five." Arias replied quietly. Being so shy she couldn't help but partially hide behind Carva. Her face was somewhat red and even she didn't know why she was so shy. She rubbed the back of her neck shyly, avoiding the shopkeepers gaze.
Telepathically contacting the shopkeeper, her telepathic voice was apologetic and soft. My fiancé is a little harsh.. Please forgive his roughness, he is quite the brute sometimes. The random apology was her human side getting ahold of her, and she couldn't help it.

Yes, he could be quite harsh at times. He was the perfect picture of a Saiyan warrior, as those who didn't know any better wouldn't even guess he had Kabochan blood. That grin. That very same grin Arias had come to know and love, it would appear on his face as the shopkeeper would remove the beautiful ring from the case. He'd then move about behind the counter, grabbing a small envelope and filling out a card. "Size 5...and may I ask who this beautiful piece of jewelry will be for?"
His features softened as his mate was brought up, his fiancee. A he looked back at Arias. "What are you so shy for, Arias?" He looked back at the shop keeper, his tone very direct. "Address the package to Carva LePumpka and have it sent to the Yunzabit Highlands post office. Here is the money for the item..." Carva drew out his makeshift wallet and handed the shopkeeper two hundred and fifty zenni, as promised.
Now, Arias would not only have his mark on her neck but also a beautiful ring to compliment her eyes. As the two walked out into the street, Carva held her hand, encouraging her to stay close to him. He wouldn't let ANYONE hurt her. He leaned over and kissed her cheek then smiled. "So...you wanna go see a movie? Kick some people's asses? I'm game for anythin', love. This is a perfect date."

Arias did love Carva, regardless of how much of a pain in the ass he could be. He was stubborn, proud, arrogant, cocky, a typical Saiyan. But she loved him. She loved him deeply, and she held his hand staying close by as they walked.
The ominous warning Walker gave her still tormented her. She didn't dare do anything with Walker basically breathing down her neck and waiting to kill Carva. There was no way she'd let him kill her mate. I have to destroy that tree. It's the only way my family will be safe.
And the only way to bring Walker down was to get stronger. She had to train more. What was she thinking slacking off so much? I should be out there in the rugged terrain, honing my skill and prowess. I need to get stronger, that filthy tree is a menace and needs to be cut down.
A sharp cry filled the air, a young girl running towards Arias crying. "Mommy!" The girl cried, leaving Arias frozen. There was no way, this was a hallucination of some sort, it had to be. It was her daughter, Fuku.
Sniffing, the young child would throw her arms around Arias' neck as the warrior stooped to scoop up Fuku. "Fuku, my sweet sweet little girl.." Arias whispered, hugging her tightly and beginning to cry. She was so relieved to know her daughter was okay.
Would Carva notice the reunion of mother and adopted daughter?

As he held her hand and the two walked down the street, the warrior's pride wold show. He held his head high, hair blowing in the light breeze as he did, holding the hand of his fiancée. It was true that most men wouldn't have been able to land such a powerful, beautiful mate and he felt both honored and very happy to be with her. Every second was proof that Carva himself was a success.
She had told him mant things during their time together, but when he heard the shrill child's cry, his eyes narrowed. He saw the child run up and throw her arms around the neck of Arias. With a tilt of his head, he thought to himself. "Hrm...a child? Arias never mentioned this. Indeed, she is a woman of many suprises." He was a bit confused. He hadn't remembered his mate mentioning another, though there were times when he was distracted by her beauty. Sometimes it was hard to catch every detail.
At first, he was stand offish, looking off at a shop window with his arms folded over his chest. He didn't know how to feel. Did she have another mate before he and Daika? Worse yet did she love him more than Carva? Carva sighed. He wasn't stupid enough to just fly off the handle and "freak out" as Earthlings called it.
He moved over to the two females and dropped to one knee next to Arias, smiling slightly. "And...who is this, my love? I don't recall you mentioning your daughter." The kid was cute. He wasn't angry in the least and his tone was level and cool as he analyzed the situation. Noticing the child looking at him his eyes met Fuku's.
Awkward silence.
Suddenly, Carva introduced himself to the young girl. "Hi...I'm Carva. You must be..." He probounced her name perfectly, his accent possibly making it sound funny to the child. "...Fuku, is it?"

Arias looked at Carva, speaking softly with her arms around her daughter. "She's my adopted daughter, but I love her like she is my own flesh and blood. We've been separated for months, and to finally have her back is a blessing from the stars.."
As her mother spoke to Carva, Fuku would look at Carva with large, round amber eyes. "Yes Carva." She replied softly, the human girl being very gentle toned and a little shy, obviously a mothers girl. The kis of the duo would almost match in an somewhat identical matter.

New child syndrome. Carva had no idea about the child, but he trusted his mate no matter what others may say. He would look at the kid, his own emerald eyes locked on her's for a moment. Generally, this would be a tense situation but Carva...he once again softened. He loved Arias with all of his heart and the child being a part of her would cause him to accept her like any real man would and should.
He was actually a bit shy as he approached the child, kneeling next to Arias with his arm around her waist. He smiled at the child warmly. "It's nice to meet you, Fuku. You've got quite an amazing mother, you know."
Carva slowly extended his gigantic hand to the young girl, which would likely dwarf her own small hand. He wasn't evil, no, not at all. He was a typical Saiyan male. Proud, strong willed...a good soldier. But the man's heart was, deep down, filled with honor and Arias would see that. He looked at Arias. "She's adorable, Arias...and I know it wouldn't make much of a difference if I did or not, but I do accept her as my own if we are to be married. I will treat her no different than our own child..."

Fuku had no tail, but their kis were so similar in feeling that it would be confusing if someone sensed Arias in two places at once. The young human girl looked at Carva, before softly placing her tiny hand in his. "Hello.." Replied the girl, other arm around the neck of her mother.
Arias looked at Carva, relieved that he was accepting of her daughter. Remembering Presto, a painful jab struck her heart. Why did she have to be without her Majin daughter. Realizing that Presto probably hates her by now, Arias fought back distressed tears.

He knew her better than she'd like to admit, and as he looked at Arias and saw her eyes welling up a bit he'd frown. He couldn't just stand there and not ask what was going on. He knew nothing of Presto either. "Arias, what is wrong? You look...distressed..."
He didn't want to pry too deeply into her past life, but he shouldn't have had to. She should have been like an open book to him. It seemed as if there was so much more to learn for Carva.

The past creeping up on her, made grief wrap its fingers around her heart, squeezing it so painfully tears started to drip down her cheeks. The distressed Saiyaness held Fuku tight, slowly hovering into the air and flying off for the north. Whatever was bothering her, it was quite bad..

Seeing her in such distress was quite disturbing for her mate, but Carva was a very patient man. He knew that she loved him and that in due tike, she would tell him what was bothering her but still, there was no way he wouldn't comfort his mate. He had to...he loved her.
With a sigh, the warrior slowly hovered from the ground, his aura flaring slightly as he blasted off into the blue yonder toward the north. He'd followed her ki signature, and once he found her and Fuku, he walked up to the two and kneeled next to them. Sliding his arms around Arias' and their adopted daughter, he spoke. "You are the white cloud in an otherwise darkened sky, Arias. And your daughter will be treated no differently than our own child. I don't know what's wrong with you, but I know that in time you will tell me." He smiled and whispered. "When that happens, I will be here for you. Always and forever. I love you, Arias."
(Exiting thread with that sweet moment. Pl please.)
