Thread PL: 172,020 Articho took a bite from the burger in his hand, his teeth sinking through the warm bun and juicy meat. He let out a contented "mmm" as he walked down the street of the North Capitol, his free hand tucked into his jacket pocket and his tail swishing behind him happily. The young hybrid had decided to just forget about everything that was going on, at least for a little while. No Zucceta, no Robo-Bing, no looking for a new Kami, nothing. This was his time just to enjoy himself and his burger. He took another bite from the sandwich and chewed thoughtfully for a moment. While he was able to let go of things he wasn't directly involved in at the moment, he couldn't seem to forget about his last fight on Vegeta. The memory was always flashing through his mind: Arias lying dead on the ground, Alexander possessed, the two White List members leaving with the little plant girl who he hadn't seen since, and Mayze watching the entire thing... Articho sighed, his next bite halfhearted and his chewing slow. In a moment of boredom, he focused his senses for a moment. He could sense the usual power levels around the earth, some familiar, others not, but one in particular intrigued him. One he had felt fading not too long ago. Arias, alive and well, towards the north. The hybrid looked up in the direction of her energy, his face remaining emotionless as he stared. He slowly floated off of the ground and flew in her direction, still eating his burger. He reached the area where he could sense her energy and descended to the ground below. His boots sank into the snow, making a quiet crunching noise. Articho looked around, finishing off his burger as he did and his face still expressionless. Where was she? Arias

Arias was meditating within a dark purple sphere of ki energy. The sphere opaque, it also muffled sounds from outside the sphere, providing a good way for her to meditate without much distraction. Her eyes were closed and her ki senses suddenly picked up on Articho nearby. Shit
The ki sphere began slowly melting from the top down, Arias uncrossing her legs and looking at Articho with a rather blank expression. She was indeed alive, standing right in front of Articho a little ways away. "Morning, Articho.. I see they spared your life on Vegeta." She said coolly.

Articho finally saw the floating, dark purple sphere that Arias' energy was radiating from. He watched as it melted away and Arias stepped out. She didn't look much different since he last saw her, save she no longer had a giant hole through her. He broke his stony gaze to smile and wave at the older woman. It was good that she had returned to life, but he wondered if the same could be said for her children. Did the afterlife work like that? The hybrid shook the thought away quickly, knowing it was probably best not to ask about such a loaded subject.
"I wouldn't say 'spared,' so much as no one stopped me as I tried to get away," Articho explained, tucking his hands into his pockets. "No offense to you, but I didn't see a point in sticking around to fight for a dead woman I barely knew. That, and Kay, I think her name is, got away with your vegetable daughter before I could stop her." He looked away for a moment, slightly embarrassed to have failed to achieve anything he had wanted in that fight. The hybrid looked back at Arias and continued, "It's good to see you alive again, at least. Have you managed to find your daughter since then?"

"Good to know you're not dead. No, my daughter is missing and I cannot find her anywhere.." She sighed, running a hand through her hair. "It's all my fault.. I lost my twins, my daughter, even my own life. I need to get stronger.." Tears would be in the hybrid woman's eyes, as she blinked them away while keeping her head turned away. Kami forbid him seeing her crying.
Regaining her composure, she looked at Articho blankly. "Did you have a reason to seek me out, if you did?" Her stomach would have a minuscule ki resting within it, and she seemed to be a bit nervous about it.

"It's good to know I'm not dead, either. That would have been terribly inconvenient and I'm not entirely sure that heaven even has any food in it. That is an afterlife I am not willing to live just yet," Articho replied with an amused smirk. It fell away when Arias went back to her daughter. He kicked at the snow slightly and stared down at his shoes for a moment. "Any idea where Kay might have taken her? She seemed kinda torn up with killing you after she did it. Maybe she still wanted to help you out and keep her safe?"
Articho shook his head. "It's not your fault. Running off was not the worst thing you could have done. Walker was the one to put a hit on you and the Galactic Patrol hired Kay and Pin to kill you. It was my fault, honestly. I wasn't fast enough or strong enough and I got bogged down outside and before I could do anything, you and your twins were dead and your daughter was gone shortly after. So, I'm sorry for being such a loser." He looked back down at his shoes again, shrugging at Arias' next statement. "Nah, just sensed your energy and investigated. It was either you or Fuku, so I investigated."

Arias looked at Articho, tail flicking softly as she thought of her daughter. "Well child or no child, if I find Kay-El she's getting the exact same treatment I did, and I hope the bitch goes to hell like I did." Her voice was venomous, lips curled in a frustrated, upset snarl. Her power level had risen greatly since they last met, and Arias seemed dead serious on revenge.
Shaking her head, the Saiyan woman sighed before offering a small smile. "Well, I don't know. Do you want to spar? Something to get our minds off this rather.. Dark subject?" She offered, tail flicking. Should Articho accept, she'd sink into a battle stance, curling her tail around her waist.

Articho frowned and shook his head. "Killing her isn't going to solve anything. If you want, find her, beat her, and get your daughter back. Nothing more. Killing her will just put you in a cycle of constant revenge and hate. Plus," he paused, looking down at her midsection for a moment, "it seems like you've got another bun in the oven, already. No need to go dying again." He gave the shorter hybrid a snarky smile and crossed his arms.
"Sure, we can spar," Articho replied, taking his jacket off as he did. He stretched his arms across his chest, keeping his eyes on Arias. "How about a wager? If I win, you let go of the whole Kay business and stay alive so this baby of yours actually gets a chance this time. You win, I'll leave you to it. Sound fair?"

Arias ponders what Articho offered, a part of her wanting to decline and seek Kay El to make the other hybrid bleed to death before her very eyes, by her own hand. But the rational side of her saw some of the truth in Articho's offer. "Fine, deal. If I win, you leave me to exterminate her." The female replied.
Cracking her shoulders while in the battle stance, she prepared for Articho's first attack by shifting her stance into a defensive one, keeping her eyes locked on the younger, taller hybrid. His snarky smile irritated her slightly, however.

"Don't expect me to go easy on you, then," Articho replied, dropping into his own stance. "I'm going to have to prevent any chance of you actually being allowed to kill her." He smirked again, then vanished from sight, reappearing directly behind Arias. He didn't feel like trying to finish her too quickly. He'd make sure he'd have a little bit of fun with it.
"My question is," Articho started from behind her before moving away over to her right and away from any attacks, "why do you keep throwing yourself into danger when you're pregnant." He crossed his arms, studying the other hybrid as he spoke and waited for her to make her move.

As Articho sped around her, she tried to swipe his face with her sharp nails but missed. Tripping backward but preventing herself from falling, her upper lip curled up in a snarl. "I never asked to be chased. I wanted somewhere where my kids wouldn't suffer from prejudice like I suffered from. Now look, they're dead."
A nerve has been touched, sending the mother into a grieving rage. She roared in anger, eyes flashing aqua and hair becoming a bold, shimmering gold. "Hmmph. Time for you to see exactly what a god is. You're standing in her presence."
She sneered, launching an attack of her own by firing a round of ki blasts, followed by a head butt directly for Articho's torso should he be too distracted by the blasts to notice her.

"You did choose to run away when that threat was over your head, though," Articho replied, brushing a snowflake off of his sleeve. He watched her stumble around, his smirk gone and replaced with a more neutral look. "In my opinion, you should have waited or talked to people. Worked out a deal of some sort. That's just what I think, at least." He looked back up at Arias and gave her entire body a once over, an almost bored expression on his face.
"If I had five Zeni everytime I heard that..." Articho said quietly while he rolled his eyes. He watched as the ki blasts were fired at him, his own hair and eyes shifting colors as he ascended to his Super Saiyan state. He batted the blasts away and let her slam her head into his stomach. He stared down at her, his bored expression turning into an amused smirk. "Plus," he said, rearing back his right hand, "what's a god to a nonbeliever?" Articho punctuated his statement by bringing his right fist up in an uppercut towards her chin followed by a powerful sidekick aimed at her nose.

Arias let out a sharp cry of pain, the uppercut striking true and the kick hit with a loud crack and a spray of blood.. Articho had broken her nose. Sent flying by the force of the kick, the smaller Saiyaness felt her nose, looking at her hand which had been somewhat soaked with blood.
"What the fuck Arti?" Arias snapped, having no way to stop the blood flowing from her broken nose in steady trickles. "YOU BROKE MY FUCKING NOSE!" She roared, standing up and spacing her palms apart, before firing a ball of purple ki, which split in two, which split into six on the seperate beams, seemingly surrounding Articho.

Articho waved his hand dismissively at Arias. "Eat a senzu bean," he said, not showing much concern for the Saiyaness' broken nose. "It'll fix your nose and keep you full for ten days. Might keep cravings under control, keep you away from eating too much junk food and getting fat." The hybrid paused for a moment, a mischievous glint coming into his eye. Deep down, he knew he really shouldn't be doing this, but he felt that he should punish her at least a little for endangering her unborn children's lives. "Well, fatter," he continued. The deep down feeling rose a little bit and he thought that maybe that was crossing some sort of line. He had seen his father saying something similar to his mother recently and promptly receiving a sharp smack to the face. Did Saiyans even think like that or did they just not have a decent sense of etiquette?
Articho looked around at the six purple beams. "Already busting out the big guns and we just started," he said, crossing his arms as he watched them converge on him. At the last second, he dashed away and left behind an afterimage of himself that would last until a little after the smoke cleared. He was behind Arias now and gave a small impressed whistle as the image began to fade. "That looked like it actually might have hurt," he acknowledged. "Glad I wasn't there when you shot it. Has anyone ever told you you need to work on your aim?"

"Fuck you." Arias snarled at Articho, anger blazing in her Aqua super Saiyan eyes. The blood from her nose was getting a little bit heavier as she thought about Articho's.. Rather rude comments about her being fat.
"I am not even showing you little bitch. I don't have cravings yet either so why don't you go to the fucking library and read up on shit before you spew gibberish and wrong facts from your mouth." Her teeth were a little bloodstained from the nosebleed, the Saiyaness licking her lips and teeth to get the blood off, before attempting a roundhouse kick.

It seems that either the rumors of your death were greatly exaggerated, or you decided to imitate my method of escape." The telepathic voice of Walker seemed to echo from nowhere. Then, from the ground, a single shoot emerged. It rapidly grew upwards, as the ashen form of the tree-man spun out of a rift like a Djinn from a bottle. His form was quite different from the last time that either of the Saiyan Hybrids had seen it. His massive fists clenched behind his back, and his feet had grown huge and clawed. Moving upwards, he completed a triangle with the two fighters. Slowly, his head turned to Arias, eyes quite literally blazing. "I'm honestly rather surprised. Regretting your choices? I'm afraid I don't take kindly to your presence. You see, you abandoned my step-daughter, left her father alone and inconsolable, lied to Celmaru and myself, and so forth. Anything to say? I should mention...." With a slow exhale, he raised one fist, before extending all the fingers on said hand in a sudden motion. Like a wave, his Ki exploded outwards, overwhelming the two Super Saiyan's signatures for a second. Ki Setting Removed: 9,200,994
Bolts of lightning crackled around the tree, arcing from limb to branch to tail. His eyes were two miniature purple suns, misty Ki wafting off each orb. "I'm not really in the mood for sass from an entitled traitor right now. I won't attack you, but believe me, I would love nothing more than to defend myself from a petulant outburst." His fist closed again, the crack echoing across the landscape. "So. Start talking."
