The Bounty Hunter
I have to learn it sooner or later
"Power: 32'000"
Weights and Katana
Rose believes it was already time to improve her own skills set a little more than her current skill set. She knows this was one weakness she might not be above to overcome but it was also important for her to do so since the woman knew she was blind to combat. She relied on her eyes a little too much during battle leaving her open for tricks such as concealing themselves with a covering like Smoke, dust and more. Flashing back to the battle she had with her father after meeting him again for the first time after a few years, she was defeated easily due to a major blow on her limbs but that attack was almost a free hit since the girl did not know her father knew how to compress his killing intent and knew how to bypass her Hunter instinct easily. She underestimated him yet she was not prepared to fight him at all. Rose felt like it was something that could have been considered a huge problem so she decides she was going to train herself until she was able to sense energy. So she did not have to face problems such as covering and speed blitzing faster than her eyes could keep up to. She knew she was behind the others a little too much so with the money she made from bounty hunting, the woman bought a new and improved house though it was not anything too big. Below the house, she made sure that she added a training area underground which was filled with equipment’s, an arena and a training section. She told herself the training from the wasteland would not be equivalent to the training she would have obtained here since she could control or randomize the temperature in this room, training her endurance while she was also practicing her swordplay. The woman wanted to try a few things purely out of excitement since she had a lot of equipment’s that bends to her current needs; however she wishes for only one thing at the moment. Definitely, the hunter wished for the able ‘Sense’ so she would be able to keep track of and sense whoever is around her, killing off ‘Surprise’ attack chances, or even lower it. From what she understands from this technique, the user will be able to sense living creatures so she decided to capture a few special sets that she knows works like a pack, had a good amount of energy she will more likely sense and of course, one of the main reason so capture this set of creatures was because they can see well in the darkness unlike her. Keeping them locked up in a remote control cage downstairs hungry, she figures they will all want to eat her once they were free from their prison. Her training plan today was as simple as it comes, she will enter the room with only her Katana and weights then turn off all the lights so inside was darker than midnight and finally release the monster so they all can attack her. She was clearly going to limit herself to the point she will not use Ki attacks whatsoever so the creature could have last a little longer against her. This training seems harsh but it was something that needs to be done before she could progress a little closer to her true goals, for this, she wants to complete her personal goal.
Rose shoves her door open to reenter her bedroom, it seems the room she was currently exiting looks like a bathroom with a large bathtub that might be able to hold three. She was a hunter after all, a tub of that size only proves that her job could be really stressful at times. She was wearing nothing much her snow white bra and matching white underwear with light gray fur around the elastic areas. It was rather clear that she had just taken a bath and was now preparing herself for the main event. Rose glances at the bed whereas she lays her eyes upon her current layout and weapon of choice then gaze over at the table where her weights and other weapons were put to rest. One the bed was her Heavy metal black Katana, the young adult wish to only use this weapon mainly because it was one of the weapons she knows well and the only weapon that will be useful in this situation. Rose knew if she left her other Katana or Guns behind, she would be putting herself at a little handicap against the three bloodthirsty demons. As Reckless as it seems, it was safe in her eyes since she was trained well in the art of Kendo, Iai, Duel wielding and many more thus assuming that her pure swordplay was enough, anything extra would have been overkill or negating the point of struggling and adapting. Rose was currently debating with herself, wondering if she should carry her weights with her or not. They have both positives and negatives effect on her; the positives were right off the top and easy to list, one was to help with her overall training while the other was to help weaken herself enough for the monsters to truly injure her. The Negatives were as simple; the young adult suspects the weight’s effect would have been a bit of a challenge for her since she was already facing a few restrictions and the other negative was technically if the training were to gone wrong, she would not be able to remove them all fast enough. Her plan was sounds rather simple even if it’s nowhere as close to such. It was something that could put her into an early grave or even into a serious condition unless she learns the basic of the technique before such happens. What she wanted to do was fight them in their attribute, the time of the day they hunt for their pray, she wishes to have her battle in the darkness, giving them the advantage while discarding one of her own senses, her sight. Rose hates the idea yet agrees with it since she normally learns exactly how to fight, learns her techniques by pushing herself through a type of training, once she performs such, she tries her master it or at the very least, use it at will. Indeed, Rose learns from experiences she earns from battles, training or anything along those lines, adjusts quickly to her surroundings unlike an average warrior.
Decision on what she would like to use after a long debate and examining the effects after this training, she believes it would have been wise to carry her pistols. She had to fight up to three of them in their turf: the darkness. Surely she wasn’t stupid enough to believe that her swordsmanship would be useful if she couldn’t defend up to two places at once. The Bounty hunter was reckless but not stupid, she knew her limits and she didn’t want to abuse such so of course she carried her guns instead of anything since that was her easy way out of a dangerous situation. Equipping their belt like holster, she slides both inside of their rightful slots. Before doing so, she changes on their condition, to see if they had any technical problems before entering the battlefield. Rose was not the base when it comes to hand to hand combat though she could have held her own. If her weapon(s) were to stick on her during such, then it would have more likely been the end for her unless she was able to turn the lights on afore the monsters eating her alive. Once everything was checked out and proven to be working correctly, the pink hair half breed finally made her way towards the door. “Time to fight..Hopefully this does a little more smoother than I planned before.”. Closing the door behind of her, she looks ahead, preparing herself for the battle between her and the three creatures of the night. With her current attire, she figures she will have to learn this technique quickly or else their attacks are going to hurt her a lot comparing to the aliens and saiyans she had fought and also hunt in the past. She arrives to the brown well design door heading to hell, her eyes leisurely lock with the golden door knob. Staring down into her reflection, she felt as if this might be the last time she would have seen her face like this without any injuries or scars after these training sessions.
She twists the doorknob fairly softly. With a slight movement, her legs glide back as her weights rests upon it. Moving her front leg back, she pulls the door towards her. Accompanying such an action, the hunter opens the door. Taking her time to enter the room, her eyes scan the area. The room was filled with lights, brighter than every other light in her house. The area was completely empty as if the training equipment’s were in another room. The only thing that was in sight for her was a large cage with the three monsters she plans on fighting. She seals off the door so they don’t try to escape from and during the event. This act was good and bad since she sealed herself inside with no escape as well. The light system she installed was programed to function with her voice and a command. This command was something rather strange yet for a good reason. She slowly glides to the center of the room. Her eyes locks with the area she assumed were the center. Walking by the cage, she heard some kind of glow from the beast. It was clear enough that they had the appearance of a black two headed wolf with glowing like red eyes. Once she had arrived to the center, she rests her hands on her Katana’s hilt. Her eyes slowly guise around the room to make sure there was no way they could have escaped. Once everything was clear, she yells the command, “Unlock lights, power off, Lock lights!”. The lights followed her command as they slowly dims until it was completely dark. Like midnight, she was unable to see anything around her. She wasn’t even able to pick up on the beast’s grows. Without a doubt, they’ve entered stealth mode and have already positioned themselves to pounce the moment the cage was open. The battle field was already prepared for such. She grips onto the blade tightly afore drawing slowly on the item. She did so until the entire weapon was out of its protection or one could say holder. The weights effects were still putting a toll on her body and mobility. Controlling her breathing, she finally calls out with, “Unlock. Cage open..”. In her head, this was a bad idea. She had no escape, she was unable to see them and she was fighting up to three at once. At the moment, she was only depending on her hearing and smelling to keep her alive. A click sound was heard following by a loud bang. After the echoes from the cage, the room was in complete silence. It was time for her to fight for her life. Sense or die unless she was given enough time to repeat the light command.
In the silence, pitch black room, Rose tried her best to listen closely to the noise around her. Since she was unable to see, she shuts her eyes and put everything upon her Ki, ears and noses. As far as she knows, the monsters have yet to exit the cage due to the quietness. Within moments, she heard the sound of wood scratching against the tile. She wasn’t sure what that was; all she knew was that the sound was sudden. Her guard was up but her experience against them was nowhere close to battling against these monsters. To her surprise, the sound was actually the nails of one of the monster’s claw brushing against the ground. It was a pounce but it was a little too late for her to react. Its sharp razor claws rips through her natural Ki defense and through the skin on her back. The wound was not as deep but hurts the same. She flinches from the sudden attack and staggers front. That movement puts her into the assault of another one of the monster. This one she was unable to hear or even smell. It knocked her off her feet with such a forceful tackle. She was in mid-air, face first, falling to meet the ground but it was not that simple. The final monster out of the set swiftly pounces and digs its claws into her back. It lands onto her back during mid-fall, applying a bit more force. The creature launches her towards the ground like a spring. During this process, it slashes through her back deeply, deeper than the previous wound. She was quite lucky they weren’t enough to leave scars on her back. She smacks into the ground with a force, strong enough to crack the surface around her body. With the weights, this wasn’t helping as much. It was quite strange as well, she was learning as she battles. She knows whenever she heard the sound of wood scratching against the tile, she needs to move. She also knows that they fought as a team so if one attacks, the others follows behind. Her only problem now was to quickly adjust her body to what she had learned. Rose slowly picks herself up with the assistance of her katana. She stabs the blade into the ground and balance herself using it. While she was doing so, she felt teeth digging into her open right shoulder. One of the beasts follows up shortly with another set of teeth which locking onto her left open leg. Finally was the tail of the last striker coiling around her neck tightly, choking and pulling. If she wasn’t able to act fast, she was good as dead. She felt as if she was going to die here. She wants her body to adjust but she might be killed before that. She wanted to turn on the light but she was surely unable to make out words much less the comments. All three wolf monsters thugs on the area they had hold of. They were trying to rip her apart piece by piece . Luckily for her, her Ki was keeping her intact.
The situation was worse than she expected. It was grim because she can die if she doesn’t act now. She was thinking as fast as she could under pressure. She had one free harmless arm and leg open. She also had her Katana which should have been in front of her and open. She used her free hand to grab hold of the blade’s hilt. Her goal was to get them off of her at the moment. Within a second, she attempts to stab down into the monster holding onto her leg. Of course it was able to sense her intention and movements before it happened. It smartly released her before she was able to perform such an action. Once one released, the rest followed them. She understood that they were like humans but leads each other. It was like they were trading around leadership but withdraw together as a unit. Rose’s back was bloody, the blood was pouring through her new freshly made bite wounds as blood flows down her mouth. She looks like the living dead. Her skin had a pale texture and she looks as if she was about to lose consciousness. Her hair rests over her blood covered shoulder. Soaked with her own blood, she was sure she needed to end this quickly before everything else goes south. It was about time for the third wave of attack. The three prepare their assault upon Rose. This was looks rather bad for her since she was still unable to sense her targets as yet. Using what she had analyzed from the before, she quickly pushed herself forward. This maneuver assisted with evading the first attack however not the other two. The second assault monster briskly spears it’s head into her right side, launching her in that direction. The third wasted no time in its assault. With a quick sweep of its claws, it attempts to slash deep into her chest. In a quick flash, her hands moves forward, carrying the blade with her. In just that moment, the sparks from its claw clashing with her blade ignite brightly. For a moment, she could have felt it’s movements. She wasn’t sure what it was but it was rather faint. She focuses her Ki as much as she could though her current plan was to survive this round. Within a small range, she was able to slightly pick up on the Ki that was able to attack her. For the first assault, she lifts her blade up in a blocking stance. She could have felt their presents, not their action. She felt the claws ripping through her upper left arm, decreasing her strength lightly. The next on the other hand, she was able to block its head-butt. For three final assaults, she sensed it moving towards her as she quickly moves herself out of its path.
To be honest, she was surviving longer than she expected. She thought she would have been killed by now. Her fight for survival was rather obvious since she had a few things she wanted to do before dying. The longer she fought, the better she was at it. She was able to pinpoint their presents and movements but not direct action. Her sensing range wide the more she focused on the task at hand. Her mind was blank and her body began to move on its own. It was able time for her to fight back for her own survival. What she was able to sense at the moment was more than enough she needed to defeat these monsters. She ignores the pain as much as she could afore regaining her stance. Her concentration heightens just in time for the first assault. She had already read the first assault as the beast attempts to slash at her stomach, possibly rip her internal organs out. She times them and waits for them to arrive to attack her. Within the moment it was about to strike, she sweeps her blade upwards. With the swiftness, she was able to slash the creature in two before it performed its attack. She cuts the beast down the middle causing its pieces to fall both side of her; half on the right and left. Only two out of the three remains now. Her body was feeling a little heavy from the blood loss. She wasn’t sure how long she had left in the battle. Though she was able to kill one, she had to repeat the same cycle with the other two. As much as she hated to admit it, she was in a small situation. All the damage she had obtained up to this point felt like extra weight upon her body. Panting heavily, she tries her best to focus under this kind of pressure. The heat around the room spikes causing her to sweat while the smell of blood burns in the air. It was fairly easy for the beast to pinpoint her now due to it.
Without the leader, the two lost their tactical approach to her as they rushed in. The longer this fight progresses, the better she was becoming at Sensing the Ki around her. She figures out how they would have normally attacked her. Since she could have sense their movements a little better, she moves to the side and prepare. With her hilt pointing up and her blade pointing down while she moves to the left. The sound of the claws collapsing with her blade echoes along with the sparks flying. Now that she knows exactly where this monster’s arm was, she proceeds to counter! Switching her hold upon her blade, she grips the end of the hilt afore she arcs it in a circular swing. This attack cut deep into the monster’s back, literally cutting it down the middle as well. To her understanding, her power was much higher than the beasts. This was the reason why she was able to take them down so easily without many problems. For the damage she had obtained, even if they were weaker, their cuts were Ki cutting sharp. It was sharp enough to slice and slash through her nature Ki enhancement. It was now her against the final beast. She already knows how to sense its Ki to some extent. This battle was surely coming to an end, all that matters now if she kills it or it kills her. She flashes the blood off of her blade then turns her head to the location of the beast. She took a basic Kendo stands as she grips on tightly to her blade’s hilt with both hands. Waiting on its movement, she widens her stance a bit and thinks of the action it was planning to use on her. From the attacks before, it starts off a little calm as the attack lethal levels improve overtime. She could have figure from just a tackle to backslash to trying to rip her apart. Just a few moments’ seconds after she took the stance, the beast finally rushes down on her. She narrows her focus on the beast; she slowly glides the blade to her side afore placing one leg forward. This placement was not wide enough for her to lose balance but enough to push herself into a dash. Lifting the blade a bit to waist height, she waits on it to close in on her enough. This was so she would have been able to counter its attack and punish the beast for it. The beast was closing in as it jumps, attempting to remove her head or badly damage her neck using its claws. Once in range, she pushes forward, applying all her weight on the leg in front and surely, slash to the horizontally. While doing so, she slightly twists her body away from its attacks. She twists just enough so her blade length was still able to reach while avoiding or lessening the amount of damage she was supposed to obtain.
Crossing blades and claws, they both soar by each other. Both at a standstill, blood sudden burst from her shoulder and a little from the neck area. For the beast, it suddenly fell onto the ground. Blood exploded from the heads down to the tail though she didn’t cut this one in half. There you have it, she was able to take down all three but she took quite a large amount of damage as well. She drops the Katana; fell on her knees and covers up the blood bleeding from her neck. This little event taught her something a little new. She learned that at times, she has to take a bit of damage at times to figure out how to counter and understand their fight. Looking up in the pitch darkness, she sighs and commands, “Unlock, Lights on, Lock.”. Just with such a command, the lights slowly flick on revealing the damage around her body and the bodies on the battlefield. The floor was filled with blood, both red from her and green from the beast. Scratch markings for the monsters were also engraved into the floor as well. She knows she had to clear up this mess but she also needed to clear herself up first. Her wounds weren't as serious but plentiful. This means if she took too long, she might bleed out. Forcing herself off her knees, she staggers her way out the room for the first aid kit. Her goals now were the stop the bleeding and apply a blood bag onto herself. This was just another day as a bounty hunter though not as harsh as her missions.
