“You tried to- what?! NO, you didn’t! All you did was just stand there and give me a stupid look!” Zerori argued, hardly paying heed to the livid saiyaness as she roared. Thinking maybe she was talking about her trying to convince Zerori to not go in this direction, she shook her head vehemently and snarled in the direction of the ogre, “I may not know what I’m doing but I’d rather die to this thing than run off like a coward. Thanks for the help but no thanks!” It irritated her that this woman was trying to command her like she had any power over her. Sure, she was strong the last time they fought… but right now, they were equal.
Equally weak against this giant monster…
As Arias made to try and run around the Ogre, prompting the large sentinel to try and keep up with a low growl, Zerori would look around on the ground to search for something useful. When a branch caught her attention, hardly anything threatening, she just scoffed and snatched it from the ground.
“HEY! DOWN HERE!” She would yell, holding the branch in her hands like a sword, she would challenge the beast as Arias made to distract him. Turning around to face her, the Ogre would give a loud hardy laugh at the pathetic and amusing vision before him.
“You’re either quite a warrior or quite a fool to challenge me! Tell me… what quest have you in Hell?” He would ask, his own curiosity getting the better of him as these flies flown about him. He could squash them, but what fun would that be?
Confused, Zerori’s sword stance faltered a bit as she tilted her head with a soft, “Huh? I, uh… I don’t know. I think… some guy named Beelzebub wanted me for some reason?” She lurched forward, threateningly yelling at him, “And I want my body back! I don’t care how!”
Pausing, he would look at her with a different light in his eyes before he slammed his hand down around him to stop the little ghost. She was hardly distracting him with her small size. “You’ve come for Lord Beelzebub? Go, then, for I have no qualm with you. If the Lord wishes your presence, then you must go to him and do not disappoint. In exchange,” He would look back at the other little ghost of Arias and chuckle, “I will allow your friend to escape, but she will not pass me!”
Blinking, Zerori swallowed and wondered if this was the moment she needed to escape. Yes, she did want Arias help, but… with the way she wanted to handle things and how much that conflicted with how SHE handled things – she’d rather take her chances alone. Yelling towards her, Zerori waved, “Arias, this is where we part! Thanks for the help but I think our paths will need to cross another time. My gratitude for the pep talk!” Turning around, Zerori rushed back in the direction of the large mountain.
