"Super Saiyan?" The words rolled slowly off Aiami's tongue, concerned as she thought them over. "Unsettling... but this sounds familiar. In the fight I was in, the one I barely survived, something... happened. For a time, I was stronger. much stronger. I was able to even get enough time to get away. It sounds like what you're describing. Though... it was temporary, and it hurt. A lot. My blood felt like fire, and my muscles were tensed and not, all at the same time... I couldn't move after, not for awhile." She shook her head.
Aiami sighed and settled back, thinking to herself for awhile. She was silent for a time before speaking again. "Protector of Earth? Group you're a part of? What group is that?" She asked, before smiling faintly. "Or is that a secret, as well?"

When listening to Aiami talking about her personal experience of a power boost, the young Arcosian would nod lightly, he had never heard of something similar in his life but was okay with accepting that, he could believe in an early state of transformation that drained too much power for a body that was too weak to handle it, that wasn’t really impossible, and later that transformation would become stronger and painless, maybe even permanent, but that was just on Core’s mind, he guessed so but wasn’t sure for now. ‘’ Well, I guess this power of yours is only temporary, b but maybe it’s because you’re trying to use a future form without the power to sustain it so your body collapse, who knows. Anyway, I can assure you you’re going to have a painless potential someday and you’ll be able to compete with the people that you see today as too strong.’’ Core would tell her with hope in his eyes shining through the cowl.
While Core was overlooking the city’s street for a moment, he would smile at her question and turn back to her. ‘’ You know what, no it’s not, and if you even find my true alter-ego, then it will be a win for you… the group is called the Galactic Patrol, we’re a group of person that tries to protect people in the whole galaxy against injustice and make the law respected… but they don’t know this version of me that you do, so if you connect the dots, I’d ask of you not to yell on all the roof who I am…’’ Core would ask of her very seriously, he knew that being a vigilante was a crime and that some people on the Galactic Patrol wouldn’t be okay with what he was doing here.
After their discussion, Core would hear another scream coming from the streets; he would turn to see where it was coming from and extended his cloak before looking back at the girl. ‘’ You can follow? Because we’re going and I don’t want to lose you in the process… well… if you still want to help me that is~’’ Core would say as he jumped toward the crime that was going on. Something wasn’t right about that crime, the sceaming had stopped, but even worst, Core could feel that most of the criminal were ki-users, this fight might just be a harder one for him and his friend, and he was going to protect her, he got her into this mess after all.

Galactic Patrol? This was all starting to sound way over Aiami's head. But then again, she should have known that given the strength of who she was talking to. "Well, if I ever do figure it out, I'll be sure to keep it quiet. Consider it a promise. Not that I could give you a name besides the vigilante in South Capitol, anyways." She chuckled, and returned to the silence. She had learned much from this conversation, especially about this idea of transformations. Pulling up buried power, if temporarily, to augment one's strength. She would have to think more on it later.
"Of course, I'll follow you." Aiami nodded, white aura slowly appearing around her as she charged herself, blasting off at high speed to keep up with Core. She, too, could sense some other powers in the area, and while they were weaker than Core considerably, they were closer to her own level, if still a little less so. That was fine, that would make it good training, and she was curious what a group of people like that were doing roughing up people in the streets.

The young Arcosian vigilante would look at her in the eyes deeply, that way, he would know if she was sincere about her promise, and she was, or at least he hoped so as he needed his identity to be a secret. ‘’ Thank you, and you know, if we ever meet when I’m outside of this vigilante costume, you’ll get a name… actually, I kind of want to meet you outside of it as I think you could be a nice friend, if you don’t mind having me as a friend that is’’ Core would tell her honestly before he heard the scream. He knew that the talk about transformation was making an idea grow in the human’s head, but that was the right thing, as Beryl did the same thing with Core mentioning that maybe he had a couple of form above the one he had then, and it turned out to be true.
It wouldn’t be long for the vigilante and the human girl to arrive on the scene, or on a building just above it, and Core suddenly realized that it was a gang of smartass that sat up a plan for him and him only. In their rank, there was a girl, probably the one that screamed to begin with, and many thugs were around her. The thugs were wearing heavy-duty metal armor, clearly made to match ki-user’s strength, and the girl in the middle, simply wearing a training gi, had a power level a cut above everyone else, except Core that is, she was actually pretty decent, one that could actually damage Core if he didn’t payed attention. The Arcosian turned to Aiami. ‘’ Okay… if we want to do this right, we’re going to have to strategize a bit, and it’s going to be a great training for you as well as me. I’m going to jump in the lower street next to the crime scene, that will undoubtedly bring some of those armored guard, I’ll take them down… then we both jump toward this group, I’m taking care of half the guard and the girl, you take the other half, deal?’’ Core would ask her, making sure she understood the plan.

Aiami felt the powers below them with her senses before observing them with her eyes. The guards looked intimidating, but she could take a few of them. However, her eyes stayed on the woman down there, wearing a gi. She was a martial student, like herself? The idea of someone using similar skills to what she was taught for selfish reasons and crime... It didn't sit well with her. The young martial artist clenched her fist, feeling her anger rising to cloud her thoughts. It wasn't even minutes ago she was talking about how impotent and weak she felt, compared to those like Core. But against the gi wearing woman down there? It would be tough, but she could take her on.
Adrenaline was starting to course through Aiami's veins in preparation to drop down below. Part of her was scared, was trembling at the thought of the fight ahead. Visions of her last battle flashed through her mind, giving her inward doubts an outlet. Yet another part was determined, however. This was her chance to prove to herself she could hold her own in a fight, especially against someone that was using something she held dear for wrong. This was her chance to prove she wasn't powerless, and she wasn't scared.
The white aura flared once more before she stood, looking to Core. "No, I'm going to take care of her. I have to do this." Aiami confirmed, not giving him a chance to respond before she sped below, immediately engaging the other gi-clad girl with a furious set of strikes, rounding out with a forceful crescent kick.

The young Arcosian was a bit afraid to get Aiami injured, the people don’t there weren’t simply things, they were real fighters and advanced technology to counter that kind of fighter as well, they were something to judge lightly or underestimate or this could turn bad for both the human girl and Core, though Core wouldn’t be able to be beaten by such people, he didn’t especially wanted to destroy half the city in order to defeat those criminals, he’d prefer staying quiet and unknown by most for a while, even though apparently some people already knew of his identity. Core could see something growing on Aiami’s face, though he couldn’t tell what she was thinking right now, but he could get that it was a bad idea and that it wasn’t going to be as easy as he first though it would be, he just hoped not to regrets having her with him.
After his speech about the ‘plan’, Core looked at the girl, perfectly knowing now she wasn’t going to follow it as an idea if what she was about to do came to his mind, he sighed to himself, knowing what was about to happen but still hopping she would not do such a thing. Hearing what she said just before leaving the building in a propelled charge, Core jumped down as well to support her, if she was going to lead a fight against this gang, he wasn’t going to leave her alone, she was under his protection of some sort, so he couldn’t just let her fight those guys alone, especially since it was his job to begin with, she was only there to maybe train and learn a few thing, but apparently she wanted to take the rough route to power, which Core could respect.
When Core landed on near the armored thugs and the martial artist, he landed on one of them, crushing his armor to the ground and leaving the man knocked out, he when quickly turned to two of them that were too surprised to notice something and threw two ki-blast, one to each, and that pushed them in the lower-street. ‘’ Do what you must, but I’m here if things go wrong!’’ He would shout to her as he jumped above the human girl and drop-kicked a guy that was about to attack her, if she wanted to take on the gi-wearing girl, then she was going to be left alone while doing so.

Unfortunately, Aiami couldn't much give much of a response to Core at the moment. She was too busy being distracted by her opponent, both trading blows and ducking and dodging one another. It was a close match, but the other woman had a little bit of an edge, Aiami could tell. At least, in raw power. The only think allowing herself to keep pace was her training, and her dedication. The woman was stronger, but Aiami was the better fighter. Which meant she had to fight smarter, not harder.
This was tricky for Aiami in the middle of the fight, and it was only made more difficult by the fear and adrenaline shooting through her veins. The familiar unsteadiness was there, the worry of losing the battle and meeting her fate. But she wanted that, she had to beat that. She had to force through it and win in spite of it, so she could work past her doubts.
So that's exactly what she would do. Aiami kept an eye out for any of the woman's goons, but she trusted Core to take care of them while she fought. This let the weaker woman perform a feinting maneuver, acting as if to charge a ki blast before moving quickly forward and unleashing a furious kick into her gut. The woman stumbled away, clutching her middle while Aiami backed off, keeping her stance on guard for the time being.

The young Arcosian vigilante was following the fight of the two women while protecting them from any outside interference pretty well, the two of them were on an equal match, though not perfectly, Aiami was using smart moves when the other was trying to win over with her brute strength, which was really something nice to see, but right now, Core had to protect Aiami from getting backstabbed by one of the many mecha-thug that kept getting back no matter how hard Core punched them, the machine was truly resistance to kinetic force. When Core realized that, he would smirk while his eyes would glow an even brighter red and suddenly shot a strong laser in a circle area, melting the command of each of the armored suit, making the wearer fall on the ground under the simple weight of such an armor, none of them being able to lift it in the slightest. ‘’ That was… easier than expected…’’ He would say before turning to Aiami and her opponent.
While the fight was going on, Core was analyzing their fighting techniques, both of them were pretty good, but also were probably holding back a bit, the Arcosian could notice that both of them had a limit that they gave themselves, or maybe they didn’t knew they had such limit. Core would widen his eyes at the impressive move from Aiami, she used both ki-manipulating and strength to put the other girl down, impressive, but the Arcosian knew it wasn’t going to put the thug down.
The girl stood back up and rub her hand on her jaw, staring at Aiami in the eyes intensely. ‘’ Damn you! I’m going to kill you both!’’ She would shout before getting out a knife, the blade slowing glowing a bright blue color as he leaped toward Aiami and tried to stab her in the stomach, if it failed, she would get in her balance with a spin kick all around, trying to hit her opponent on the side.
Seeing that, Core would stare at the girl and throw his sword behind Aiami. ‘’ If you ever need a blade also, though make sure to give It back after!’’ Core would say as he was convinced she could win this but wouldn’t let Aiami’s opponent win over with an unfair advantage, which in this case was, using a weapon when her opponent had none.

Aiami could feel everything fade but her breath as the knife appeared. Her home, Kota Town, may be old, but the martial arts school there was very aware of new techniques, and did occasionally offer training on how to handle an armed threat. At least, one armed with a knife. It had been awhile since she practiced or done anything like it, and she operated purely on instinct when the woman came into stab her. Aimai shifted back, but reached out the arm mirroring the one the woman was using to stab with. She grabbed her attacker's arm, just a little above the wrist, twisted out, and then finished by crossing her free arm out to strike the underside of her wrist joint. The woman let out a cry of pain, twisting in the direction of the blow and dropping the knife.
Feeling confident, though, Aiami didn't see the woman using that twist to build momentum, and was kicked aside. She landed roughly, right next to the blade Core had tossed. Unfortunately, she was unskilled when it came to weaponry, but her opponent didn't know that. She jumped up, sword in one hand and charged the woman. Just before her first strike, she twirled the sword so the hilt was facing the woman and launched it at her. With a nimble dodge the woman jumped out of the way... and into Aiami's waiting attack. She delivered a kick to the back of the woman's knee, making her fall, before Aiami twisted her hips and plowed a knee right into her face.
The woman fell over with a grunt and Aiami was left standing there, breathing heavily. Looking down at the woman, she still felt her indignation, but she also felt relief. She had won. But it felt different than the fight before, the one with Contagion. Was it that she was closer to this woman's level, or was it her training that had prepared her? Guessing the former, she reached down for the sword, which had bounced harmlessly off the alley walls, and moved to return it to Core. "Thank you for the help."

The young Arcosian was absorbed by the fight that was happening between the two girls, there was such intensity and technique being used, this was a true fight between two strong martial artist, no matter their power level, Core knew that Aiami was in fact probably more capable then him in a fight, and was pretty sure that in equal power, he’s lose a fight against her, which was really making him think deeper about himself, he should really get more martial training in case this happens; should he meet an opponent equal his strength someday, he wouldn’t want it to simply be over because of his lack of training, but he’d have plenty of time to train with this new hobby of his, plus some training with Ninjin would solidify everything and he’d get stronger than he was actually, by his own way of training which he was proud of. Core was present enough to notice the twist in the fight with the woman’s kick that pushed Aiami on the side, making him worry as if the woman would have thrown her further, she would have cut herself in half with the blade he sent her to help, which would really make him feel guilty. When he saw Aiami throw the sword at her enemy and missing, the young Arcosian would burst towards it and catch it in mid-air, he didn’t want his honorable sword to be tainted by the dirty water on the ground. He then returned to where he was, cleaning his sword’s blade at the same time by turning the blade fiery red and burning every single thing on it before returning it to normal and putting it back on its hilt just as Aiami landed her knee-strike, putting the girl down for good as he smirked. ‘’ Good job miss, that was a breathtaking fight there, you can be proud that you won!’’ Core would tell her as some police-car could be heard coming down the street. ‘’ D-dammit!’’ He would say, grabbing Aiami in a hug-like way and flying up a building before they could be seen, he would then retrieve his hold and look at her. ‘’ Sorry, I couldn’t have me identity being spotted… I want to keep that a mystery so people don’t go looking for me wherever I go… I think you can understand right?’’ Core would ask her as he cracked his neck a bit, the sound being oddly different from a normal neck-cracking since his bones were highly-movable already. ‘’ So uh, the sun is going to rise in a couple of minutes, I’m going to have to go and…. Change you know… uh, thank you for giving me a hand for tonight’s patrol, I’ll keep that in mind if you ever need help’’ Core would tell her with a bit of a smile before leaving the area, jumping from the building and into the air, his cape floating in the wind brutally at the point were most cape would just tear apart. "I'm glad you let me come along." Aiami nodded, smiling at Core. "It was... important for me, I think to do this. Good luck, friend." She offered, before she watched Core jump off into the night-turning-dawn. She rolled a shoulder, taking a deep breath to help calm herself after the battle, before she turned to look over the scene. The vigilante had been very through with the rest of the thugs, she noted, picking up on the slumped forms and the muted groans. She looked down at her own opponent, bloodied in the face, and let the breath go. A step towards recovery, but she wasn't healed. Not yet.
Shrugging off those thoughts for now, Aiami drifted slowly into the sky, deciding to take it easy on the flight out of the city. Perhaps she would head west? She had never seen the deserts out that way, and it might be good to find some solitude there. Or maybe see West Capitol? Wherever she ended up, she was sure there would be even more interesting people to meet, like that vigilante.
Exit post, kind of short, sorry. Zeni, please!
