It was a slowly approuching night, a cloudy sky, multiple cars going down the streets as a single cafe was there, a single cafe, emptied out of its customers preparing for close down... Preparing for everything to finish up and go back to his own comfortable home. Nobody would have expected the darkness that was encroaching, the darkness as the sun slowly went down dressed in hoodies and mouth caps as guns were raised and he was pinned to the ground... - It was a great darkness tonight, Cars were riding towards a single cafe, their vehicles loud with the sirens of multiple cops. Hundreds of shouts, thousands of participants, nobody was really knowing what to do with the man locked in the backroom and a few armed bandits standing infront shouting orders into the crowd, shouting their demands continiously to stop this nonsense. They wanted their money, they wanted their escape... Nobody would be going away alive if this were to happen with small plasters of c4 spread everywhere along with a heart beat monitor for if somebody were to fire a single shot inside. Yet in the night sky, outside of their reach, the symbol of a single arcosian was depicted on the night sky clouds. A request for a single person to come and save the owner as a old fart stands on a nearby roof top, awaiting his arrival to start giving him help from his location, He couldn't just let him lose this favourite location of his. Today would be a change, Either this arcosian would become the savior of Satan city or the cafe would be blown to smithereens, officers trying to call people back and away as quickly as they could. Tonight was the blackest night that the young Arcosian child known as Core had ever seen in his past few months in Earth, the moon was completely non-visible, making it impossible to barely see something if there wasn’t a human-made source of light around in this place, which was making it hard for the young Arcosian to see really far as he was relaxing in the forest near the city, his enhanced senses able to pick up sound from both nature and the city as he was gently relaxing on a tree branch, not really minding anything but is own buiseness, Core was really trying to take a night and watch the sky, the stars were bright in between the clouds and it was giving him a really nice view, but everything was going to change real quick and turn suddenly into a really unexpected night for the young Arcosian.
The young Arcosian would begin to pick up sound from the city, weirdly, it was coming all from one spot of the city and the more he was listening, the more it was starting to sound like maybe people were in need of some help, but it was only when he looked at the sky above the city, a spot of light depicting an Arcosian was obviously visible, clearly, it was a call for him, or at least he would believe so. The Arcosian would stand up and look at the light in the sky, it was coming from a roof, if he wanted to know why he was called upon, that’s where he would have to go, and were he did went as he jumped toward the sky and began to fly toward this place that was calling for help, which was near to the place were the light was coming from.
On his way toward the light source, Core would bump near a roof were someone was leaving his laundry at night, which was really weird but Core didn’t had time to questioned what was going on there, he would jump from roof to roof, not realizing a clothes was on his back, attached to his two shoulder pad-like bio-armor and making him a black cape, which was flowing in the wind behind him like a flag. When he finally landed on the roof where the light source was, he was barely the same, his mouthpiece was on, the black ‘cape’ he had was hiding most of his body, he would walk toward the old man whom he figured was the old man called Ayumu and looked up at him. ‘’ Uh… is that thing for me? Because… if someone needs my help… I’m right here… what’s the problem Ayumu?’’ He would ask the old man, having a smile under his mouthpiece.

It was a human, dressed in a large suit of frozen energy, he was known as the cold dark, the coldest creature on the planet of earth, always requiring a temperature that water froze in to sustain, he cursed the previous incarnations of heroes that he decorated his wall with. Their cleaned skulls happily ontop of his frozen fireplace, never having used it even once, questioning its use as he slowly opened the door towards the owner of the cafe, slowly inserting one of the cannisters of his own special blend of freezing suprise. Today would be a chilly hellstorm, with these presents to turn this entire city in a frozen wasteland...
-
Turning of the spot lights, Ayumu simply nodded and started to pick a mental connection towards you, talking and honestly figuring out a way of interacting with you via a non vocal route. Wanting to be certain that nobody would be able to bring forwards a single greedy finger in this little jar of justice!
'Core, It is time for you to save that place, i have tried to call upon you with the arcosian symbol of justice...'
Slowly turning his body towards you before spreading his eyes softly, a few images of his memories were a arcosian was crossing the streets, the man that was justice itself moving from place to place. Continiously showing people how justice was performed before meeting a grueling end, he was a true warrior with his mythical belt that allowed him to transform into something beyond a normal arcosian, Something more royal...
'The hero known as Sun of the night has fallen in the past, for years our streets look empty and real heroes are too little in numbers compared to the past, even the not-so-much-justice league and the Y-men have fallen apart... Will you take up this mission to go in there? Will you go in there to safe that cafe that you love so much and shoulder the burdens of a true hero!?'
Reaching out his arm towards the building, extending his fingers towards the crowd and his palm aimed towards the building... The building where everything had been in pure chaos, where cops had been surrounding it and trying to get everybody to stop, but firing and killing people would only cause every single explosive in the vacinity to go off. He wanted you to not play some make belief hero, he was asking you to do something that may be a life time occupation, a occupation that nobody can know about as you strive to succeed.
The man that was always happily greeting you in that building was waiting, alone, afraid, praying for his life as you were here outside, looking towards the building were everything was happening. Was there even a single reason to not accept this belt he was holding out towards you with his other hand, this black belt that would cause a suit to appear around a person, transforming them with the power of extreme justice?!

When the young Arcosian finally arrived were Ayumu was waiting for him, he would land on the roof with a bit of an impact, though it wouldn’t damage the building itself, but it was enough to show that Core had rushed toward this place, making sure he got there the fastest he could so there wouldn’t be any lost time, if people needed help, he wasn’t going to let them wait, it was his job as a part of the Galactic Patrol, helping people was part of the contract that went with the nice training gravity chamber and the ship, and Core was always up when it came to helping people, the young Arcosian, without really having a sense of justice, knew when to interfere and liked to save people as it was greatly helping in his integration in Earth’s society and making the image of Arcosians shine a bit more.
When the mental connection started up with Ayumu, the Arcosian would tilt his head, was there a chance that someone was around and listening to them? If so, how could this person escape Core’s sense? It was really putting Core on his guard, and he was looking a bit aggressive with that black cape and his mouthpiece covering half of his face, he truly looked like a comic book villain at this point. When he heard Ayumu’s voice in his head saying that he needed to save this place, Core would look down to see the café he liked some much where things were obviously going down with many police force. ‘’ Can I really do something? This situation look tense… eh… who am I kidding… I can take care of it…’’ He would tell to Ayumu through their mental connection, looking down to the café he loved so much, he could still feel the manager’s presence; the old man was still alive at least.
Ayumu kept speaking about the heroes of the past, apparently there was an Arcosian that had been a hero in the past, which was really making Core a bit proud that he was learning more and more that his species wasn’t always bad, and that in fact, there was many of them that were highly considered, another name on the list of dead Arcosian he had to honor alongside Wyntre, the previous empress, whom had worked on the empire’s image for a long time, trying to make it look better for the rest of the world. ‘’ Well Ayumu, if this city needs a hero… I can take this role… I might be young and with not that much experience, but I’m smart… and I am strong enough to handle most of the people that could be evil…’’ The Arcosian would admit, though something felt wrong, there was something that was missing from this to really start, of Core was to be a hero… he needed something for people to recognize him without having to reveal that it’s simply him, they needed to believe in something more.
When the man offered the black belt of the previous Arcosian hero to Core, the young Arcosian smiled widely, he knew the old man wasn’t unfamiliar to this story like most people, and he could bet he was more involved than he would admit, but that were question for another time. The Arcosian grabbed the belt and putted it around him, quickly; the belt would create a suit around the Arcosian, giving Core a whole new appearance and a shocking style. Most of his body was now covered in a thin yet opaque black material that felt resistant, Core could actually feel his ki flowing in the material like it was his second skin, some parts of his costumes, like his bio-gems, had holes in it, making appear a logo very similar to the one of the Arcosian Empire, though it wasn’t exactly the same, and it was glowing from Core’s bio-gem’s light, though the rest of the light wasn’t getting through the suit, making it look unnatural. The Arcosian turned to Ayumu and a smirk could be seen through the mask he was wearing that covered his mouthpiece. ‘’ Well, it’s time to get to work’’ Core would say as his cloak floated in the wind, standing on the edge of the building, the darkness of the night was blurring Core’s form, making him look like more of a shadow, two things being really visible at all time, his logo on the chest's bio-gem and his fiery-red glowing eyes.

While taking out his large weapon, carrying a few pockets of ammo within it to increase its weight he could feel the resistance of flesh as he bashed into the face of this man, shouting questions at him. Shouting questions of a single person that always visited this cafetaria every single day, hoping that he would be given the information of this person he deemed to be his rival. Having been part of a previous group of a mafia taken out by this kid, he had experimented on his own body to attain more powers, taking ideas from those stupid comic books that people saw, he knew that the way to take out this kid was to be just like those villains in the comic books, to become one of those things he looked up to.
"Where the fuck is that kid?!"
His shout would be able to be heard as blood was sprawled over the wall...
-
While the glowing red eyes were visible as you took to work, It was obvious that were were six entrances, five being obvious while the last one was a secret one in the back, one known by many people to be the clothing shaft, one with enough room to fit two people yet to open it they needed to know the simple quirks behind it. It was a piece of metal that was stuck unless you managed to know the owner well enough to know that single trick, should not be too much of a issue towards you as the entrance from this area would open up in to a large hallway.
The hallway had the usual carpet on the ground for the personal area along with a single person standing far down the hallway with a ear piece visible on him, discussing small events towards the person on the other side of the line, which voice could be heard within the room on a door across this man. The man in question that was talking in this hallway seemed to be a arcosian himself, having taken up the work of a crime syndicate to prevent people from just belittling his race and wanting to strive to eradicate everybody for a mere price of a cup of coffee. Wearing a brown suit along with a small blindfold that had thin slits for his eyes along with a snowflake symbol in the middle, there were six other presences in the main room, two doors ahead of this hallway, keeping a eye on the bombs for if anybody came in the main five entrances.
'Core, be carefull of the people you may encounter inside, There is a large chance that they have heart monitors, so killing them is no way to save everybody! You require to knock them out before they can notice you are here! Surely this old man who believes in you, everybody outside who believes in the darkness of the night that saves everybody can trust in that you are able to do it right?'
Making certain to also note a few little traps in the hallway, they were mostly strings attached to cannisters to prevent careless people from sneaking in without having nobody notice their attention. They were hard to notice, yet for an arcosian with their increased sight potential it would be a moment of concetration to notice the large layers of string that were spread around. Especially the heat detectors that you would require to deactivate, especially knowing that a few blobs of C4 were attached to their wiring, it would not be a happy suprise if suddenly everything went up in flames!

When Core, easily adapted to his new costume, was now looking to the building, trying to see if there was any way to get through all of this without being too easy to spot, there was just something about this case that was personal, the café were Core was coming every single day was in danger, and as Core, with his enhances sense, would hear a man inside shouting to someone, asking where someone was and hitting the man who didn’t wanted to answer, the young Arcosian smirked, he knew someone was waiting for him and he was already looking forward to it. His rage would build up as he heard the hit of the weapon the guy had hitting the face of who he figured out to be the manager, what a waste of time for him, the manager had no idea where Core was, the man was going to pay for that.
Core would notice the sixth entrance, the clothing shaft, this was the one place they wouldn’t expect him to arrive from, especially since they weren’t expecting for someone like him to step in, they were only protected against the police and this protection wasn’t going to help against him at all. Core would jump near this new entrance and melted the piece of metal that was stuck with his heat vision, making it easier to enter it than usually and he slid down into it, stopping himself only when he was about to drop into the main hallway, he had to analyze the situation, he wouldn’t just step in and try to punch everybody, he had to play a stealth game, not being seen, stay in the shadows and take them out one by one, many presence were felt in this hallway, this was going to be the first round.
The young Arcosian saw the situation, only one man standing in the hallway, speaking to someone who was clearly out of the room, it wouldn’t be too hard to take out this one, Core had more than one trick up his sleeve. The changeling reached for his hand forward toward the man, using his Psycokinesis to open the door behind him. Like anyone would, then other Arcosian henchman turned to see what was up with the door and closed it back, but when he turned, the only thing that he would see was the shadow of justice lowering his first on him and passed out, but still alive as Core didn’t wanted to kill anyone, he then dragged the unconscious man in the bathroom, the first guy was down, there was five people to go, but first, Core had to take out the traps, the canister to make sound weren’t all that bad but the heat detectors could be a problem ahead.
Core would locate the next five guy, they were simply well spread on the last hallway between him and the hostage, the heat detector would also make it impossible for Core if they didn’t displayed them in open area, of course they were covering more ground, but they had a weakness. Core went to the right wall and pulled the fire emergency handle, making it rain in the building and breaking the heat detector, he could hear the voice of a bit of panic with fear in the other room, he smirked as he heard such words. ‘’ What are we going to do? ‘’ The first man would say, another one answering. ‘’ We do what the boss says, the police can’t open this door without getting hailed with bullets anyway!’’ The other answered, giving Core an idea.
The super-hero changeling would slide next to the closed door that was separating him from the henchmen, he knew this place like his own pocket, and he would take advantages of this to play those men in his hand, they were five, not enough to kill him even if they tried. Core slowly turned the handle and let the door slide slowly to open, the thugs were getting impatient and shot through the door like crazy. The young Arcosian used his sword that he kept with him to deviate a few bullets right were he wanted them to ricochet, right in the room’s light, now they were in perfect darkness and chaos was getting the group. ‘’ Dumbass! You took the light with your ricochet!’’ One would tell to the other angrily. ‘’ Me? You shot way more than me, you’re the one that can’t control his fire!’’ And their conversation kept going as Core had already slipped in the room, it was a matter of time until they were falling. They couldn’t see anything, but each few seconds, the sound of someone trying to scream but betting chocked could be heard until the last one standing lit up a flare, showing that Core was already right in front of him. ‘’ Boo.’’ Core said jokingly, the man falling on the ground out of fear.
Core would then look at the last door, this one was leading to the man he was supposed to stop, he was alone, he could feel it, looking at the door directly, he would wait for the right moment to break in, but if he was to lay one more hand on the manager, Core was going to make him pay for that more than he would even think, the Arcosian had a bit of anger inside him.

While you were handling everything like a child, granting mercy to these warriors, it became obvious that your actions were slowly cascading into something extremely massive before your very eyes. From the soldiers starting to be knocked out to the heat detectors and alarm blaring through the building, it was known that on your path there were a select few soldiers, yet farther outside large groups of soldiers came in, smashing their way through glass and some even slamming open doors with their equipment, unloading magazines upon the 'villains'. The sounds echo'ing through the hallway with a sudden explosion starting to go off, a man inside the lone room glaring towards the sound of this chaos.
"Fuck!, I need to buy time... "
Before taking a look at the man that he had been using as a stress reliever for the mere moments that he had, a thick red cover on his fists while taking a few pieces from his rather elaborate pockets, his height making him look like a giant in all honesty. Going up to 8.2 Feet in height, he had been using this heightened room to his liking, not having to bent over to even get to talk to a person with blue coloured materials visible underneath his trench coat.
"Listen, If you are not willing to sell your information about that arcosian flesh... We need that to be able to survive for when the earth is fucked, which it already is. So have this little present"
Dropping packages all over the owner of the cafe, a smile slowly becoming visible in the dark shade of his facial expressions, it was not much more than a expecting grin while he started to take out the wall infront of him.
"If you wish to survive you better hope that kid wont go after me, one wrong move and i will blow this entire place to high heaven, that kid is responsible for over fifty trained policemen trying to storm the building, for your life, even for losing this building that you oh so hold dear. Next time i wont hesitate to pull the trigger and cover the walls in your brains, i swear to god i wont hesitate... Fucking brother."
Slamming his fist into the man his face, knocking him as far to the side of the room with the obvious ticking of the bomb strapped to the room, the bombs strapped to the buildings, everything was connected to a single mechanical box in the room that would send a signal to blow up this entire shithole. Making a escape at speeds that were seemingly impossible for a man of his height, he was hoping to get away before the bigger dangers in the vacinity could pick up on him. This would not be the first time he would have escaped from something as simple and weak as this small little rodent. You are but a small child after all, unless one grows up he would never expect you to even stand a chance.

Core saw all around him the chaos that was about to be brought by his actions, he saw the villains on the ground barely able to move in their ‘sleep’ and saw the soldiers were about to shoot them. He would think to himself as he easily figured out an idea to save them from bullets. Core pushed his palm toward the soldiers, creating a shield of ki-energy to protect the knocked-out villains from getting hit. Core then activated his voice modifier and shouted. ‘’ To all the police, those man can’t defend themselves, they are knocked out, you just have to capture them and bring them to justice…’’ Core would first stay before waving his cape in front of him. ‘’ If you don’t, and if one of them is killed without him resisting the arrest… I’ll personally make sure to find the one who did this…’’ He would finally say as he disappeared behind his cape, his threat was real, if someone was to kill someone, that wasn’t justice, it was an execution, and these people weren’t threats anymore, only thugs with broken bones.
The last thing he would hear when he gets in the room was the ‘fucking brother’ said by the villain when he smashed the door, he also heard the man punching something.. or someone… before leaving the room, he was going to get rid of that guy, but what Core saw in the room was more alarming than a single man. Core quickly looked around; there was a ton of explosives on the ground and on… the manager. ‘’ It’s going to be our little secret mister~’’ Core would say as he figured out the manager would recognize him under this costume anyway. The Arcosian then began to blur with speed and bring the entire explosive in one easy-to-lift pile before wrapping them together. ‘’ Now mister, I have to leave…but you’ll see me in the morning… with that hell of a night… I’m going to need some sugar to wake me up properly~’’ He would say in a joking ton before looking serious once again and lifting all of the explosives out of the building, he carved a hole with his laser-vision through the roof and brought the explosive in the air, into the night sky, he had to get rid of it now.
Core though quickly, there was one easy way to get rid of all the explosives now, and it was to make them explode in a safe place. The young Arcosian would smirk as he let go the huge ‘box’ of explosive he made out of them and punched it toward the sky. Then he used his laser-vision once more to eat it up and make it explode, making a huge firework in the air, and making his shadow all the more visible from the light of the explosion, a frame in the night, cape flowing way too long for him, blowing in the wind and two glowing red eyes.
Core quickly returned to the café only to see that the police saved the manager, he couldn’t return there, and he couldn’t see any trace of that immoral bastard who brought all of this, he knew there was something more to this, but he had no clue were to start. Core, a bit angry that he didn’t caught the main bad guy, would go back to the roof with Ayumu and would remove the cowl and look at him sadly. ‘’ I’m not the one you want me to be… grandfather… I couldn’t stop that guy…’’ He would admit, laying his head on the projector.

While you had given a warning to most about the bandits that were upstairs, you had the people downstairs, the people below that were fighting as the first defensive perimeter you would have avoided from the shute be taken down in stretchers. Red lights glowing everywhere as ambulances made their way through the night, cutting into the nearby area of silence. Refusing to ever become quiet for those surrounding everything it was just a blurred sound for a single man who looked down upon everything, the markings of his fist on a metal apparatus while a trickle of blood went down his chin from the corner of his mouth. Burning rage in his heart as he had trouble contacting the nearby people that were known to him, even his machines that refused to listen to him upon the moment of need. Having wanted to bring forwards a warning to this person called... This person that called himself his great grandson, just how could he fail him so hard.
'Fuck...'
Slamming his foot into the metal sheet of one of the components as a small light flashed, fire starting to gather in it while taking a quick few paces backwards before running as soon a small explosion took out many of its components. Only hidden by the large flash of fire in the distance from a single child saving us all. A single child that had given his all to bring forwards a chance for every single person in the vacinity to walk away without becoming a victim, this entire busy street that was almost given a disaster makeover due to the disconnection of information.
"FUCKING HELL"
Simply running back towards the burning heap while starting to stomp down on it, it was the cold night sky that made him feel these droplets on his cheeks more and more. Continiously cutting down his fragile skin while cursing his weakness, knowing that he could not call back that woman that was always protecting his sorry skin. Being incapable of even making a single change on this world, he would spread his lips while wanting to utter another swear, looking at the ashes that were visible from the doused flames with a pained expression.
"I should have treated this like a life emergency... i should not have send her to dig that shaft..."
Seeing the fragments of flame slowly make their way downwards, knowing that he would soon arrive, knowing that from the appearance of the lights travelling away that everything panned out worse than expected, he could not show even a single fragment of weakness towards this child. He was clever enough to understand everything yet his innocence was worth protecting was it not? Slowly opening and closing his fist, Ayumu could feel the stinging cold against the bare flesh of his torn knuckles, feeling them as a cold reminder of his humanity while uttering a soft few selective words about how it was better to just bite the dust if this all were to continue.
'somebody who could not keep up with the big guys would just become a weakness in the eyes of the big players would he not...'
Gazing towards the sky and hearing the movement of a arcosian starting to approuch, he had no time to bend under the force of life while placing his wounded fist in the pocket of his pants, searching around for something at first before letting it rest there, hiding the wound while having wiped away to his best ability of any facial give aways of what had transpired, only the smell of burned components ontop of this building while he then responded softly.
"You have not done badly, you are learning are you not?"
His grim facial expressions were soon interchanged with that content smile that he had been saving up for his children, to greet them when they were back again, yet he had been throwing it to everybody who he found deserving of it. Refusing to waste these precious emotions within himself, he found himself looking at everybody with a strange affection, a feeling that every person was as precious as family itself while balling his visible fist before relaxing it into a stretched out hand.
"Congratulations on your first day on the job, you are doing well, you have done your true best, i am certain of it. But never let the darkness over take you please, i am just here to teach you the worth of these burning emotions within us..."
Thinking back of when he had last smashed his fist hard into his torso, tearing into his flesh, it was so long ago, having learned from those reckless days he just brought up his fist and simply smiled forwards. Gritting his teeth while a hollow echo blasted outwards, it had no damage, it had emotional force while a soft cough could be heard, containing the pain from having his torso smashed in so hard by his own hand.
"If you ever feel like you are happy core, then be fucking happy!, If you ever feel that burning sensation like you need to tell somebody something... If you ever feel like you should tell somebody that you should go somewhere alone... You have to do that! I once felt the butterflies in my own stomach and i went and proposed to my wife, and i got her along with a fa-, along with a beautifull past"
Coughing lightly as a soft shimmer in his right eye was visible upon mentioning this.
"So who the fuck am i to say that you have done bad when i know that you have caused the first step in travelling down the path to a hero!? if you ever feel something is going to happen or something should happen, go do it. You have done what i wanted today, you have become a goddamn hero people will look up to, a arcosian people will respect and feel happy about. A true gaurdian of darkness! So go! Escape this area before their soldiers find you!"
Pointing into the distance, Ayumu would merely wait for you to go, hoping honestly that you were going away so he could limp his way back home to drown in the pain, giving a begging stare towards the arcosian.

When he landed back near the old human man he held so dearly to his heart, the first thing he would notice was his blood, on the ground, easily noticeable but… he seemed so happy, that smile on his face, it felt like something more, something he could have never fully used, something he was trying to fix with it, though Core was pretty sure it wasn’t him that he was trying to fix at all, there was something more to this, but he couldn’t just ask for this kind of thing, it was personal, he knew it. Hearing his answer to his first hero mission, Core would look back at him, so he had done good after all? ‘’ T-thanks you grandfather… I don’t think I could have done more when the urge of the situation… but at least… everyone is alive. At least I was able to save those innocent live… and I promise you, I will save all of them.’’ Core would tell him, his voice betraying his faith in his words, which was stronger than anything else.
Core had the feeling inside of him that this job would be for him, but before this moment, he was doubting a bit, what if there was better people to do it, what if some people were better than him at it, but seeing the expression on the old man’s face, he knew he was doing at least something good, to earn such a smile even if the old man was injured, which he now could scent, the scent of blood, in his pocket, along many hints that he was in pain, even the brightest smile couldn’t hide this from Core, not from a person he cared about and wanted to be happy no matter what. When Ayumu congratulated Core, he would lightly blush and look down. ‘’ A-ayumu… I promise you I won’t… if this was good, if what I did tonight is what I’m expected to do… then I’ll do more anyway, I’ll save everyone, I’ll bust the bad guys… I’ll do anything I can to protect this planet from crime… and… what are you talking about… the burning emotions?’’ He would ask, a bit confused, not seeing the link between the two subjects.
The answer to his question came rapidly in the form of a speech, which he would listen closely, his attention and curiosity would be taken completely by the speech that he was giving, somehow, Core felt it had more important than he would first though. The first thing that would hit Core was the mention of going with someone somewhere alone, which brought him a tough back to Kay-El, the promise that next time she would be on Earth, they would meet and spend a day together, followed by Ayumu speaking of his wife, and speaking of it as a past, which suddenly hurt Core’s heart a bit, he understood what was going on, he knew what was wrong with Ayumu right now and so he went and embraced the old-man dearly. ‘’ You are not alone Grandfather… you have your family. Celmaru, Phae, me… and many others… you’ll never be alone, I swear on everything I hold dear…’’ Core would tell him, his childish hope voice would echo with his lightly more mature one.
Core could feel, as Ayumu kept talking, that he was sad, hurt and many more things that the young Arcosian couldn’t understand, though he hoped that his embrace could make him better for a small time, even if it was just a little, if Core could help him, he would. When the old man told him to leave the place, Core would nod lightly, pecking the old-man’s cheek before going on the edge of the building, on the other side of the street. ‘’ Bye Grandfather, I’ll see you again soon enough, don’t worry~ and I’ll make you proud!’’ He would tell him before flying away from roof to roof, somehow, he felt like it was just the beginning of a thing too big for him to understand for now.
