A certain hybrid decided it was time to practice Ki Suppression. Given that this particular hybrid had supposedly begun to climb the ranks of some of the most powerful warriors on the planet...he hoped that he could hide himself until the time had come to fight. Figuratively crushing his Ki within the container that was his figure, the hybrid sat with his legs folded in his home's courtyard. The bright spring's day was cloudless and serene. The nearby hills and mountainous terrain sat beside the massive river, each surrounded by flora and cherry blossoms alike. The hybrid warrior Celmaru Waterfield had sat in a partial state of meditation, forcing his newfound Ki into a heavily suppressed state; below that of many warriors he knew. Behind him, his very own home stood, radiating a slight aura of homeliness to it. The only current resident of the home, the hybrid's wife Phae Waterfield rested atop the patio, near the doorway. The seaweed woman held her head in her palms, hiding her discontent and her bloated stomach. ' Celmaru...are you to spend the day practicing suppression?' ' ...Yes, most likely. I must learn to suppress my power so I won't become immediately noticeable.' ' I'll flare my energy around~' ' Phae, please don't-' Unfortunately, it had been to late for the hybrid. The bundles of seaweed's Ki had flare up and about, flickering every which way repeatedly. It wasn't as noticeable as her husband's at first glance, however it was greater than most. Phae's Ki was akin to a nervous flame, darting about in ceaseless fear. Two other Ki signatures dwelt within Phae at the very same moment, fluttering lightly as they continued to develop. Shifting his gaze slightly, the hybrid sighed, grinning weakly at his wife's antics. A tiny signature piqued Celmaru's interest mere moments later, simply as the weak grin faded away into a neutral expression. It was seemingly faint, yet prominent; enough to face any generic Human, yet nowhere close to even Phae's physical body's prowess. " Husband, his energy is akin to a-' ' Child, yes. If he approaches us, we'll see if he has any hostile intent.' Within such a heavily suppressed state, the hybrid's aura was akin to a realistic flame, licking at the air with deep blue limbs of Ki. The hybrid's aura could barely envelop his entire frame with such a mere level of power, however whether the minuscule Ki would arrive or not; the couple would be beside their home in the meantime. Celmaru took shallow breaths as he sat, his arms folded along with his lower limbs. The hybrid's Ki would only fluctuate partially as he sat still, never moving to either the wind, nor the elements...unless that element was his stomach; then there would be an issue. Before the hybrid, a well-forged blade was promptly placed between the cobblestones, standing upright proudly in the sun's glare. Aetherius Brand wasn't outside its capsule for any particular reason, however the hybrid believed that it were to remind him of what he trained for as of now; family. Regardless of such thoughts, Celmaru would only help but wonder. ' I wonder if that signature has ever heard of a Super Saiyan...'

Sai had just woken up from his make-do camp area, and his muscles ached like hell. He was situated besides a river, which was good when someone was camping. The only reasons behind his camping was his growth, he wanted to get stronger. No, he needed to get stronger. He slowly stood up from his make-do bed, and began to warm his body up. It was mostly just a series of exercises before he went into the cold river water to take a bath. “Stretch to the left… Then to the right… Ah… Feels good to be alive this morning!”
He then removed his clothing, and jumped into the cold water. It wasn’t as cold as the water he used to bathe in at Mountain Frappe, but it was still cold enough to make Sai shiver. After his bath, he dried off, wore his father’s old green and orange dogi, and walked bath to his camp-site. There, he sat down, in a meditation pose, and began to focus his ki. The longer he focused his Ki, his aura began to flicker around him. It wasn’t anything like the Super Saiyan transformation Sai had seen, but it was enough to make Sai smirk a bit. He was weak, and he hated being weak. He needed someone to help him, or even train him; since at this rate, he wouldn’t get stronger much faster.
A few minutes later, while his was still focusing his ki, he began to sense a large energy level yonder. He didn’t know who it belonged to, but speak of the devil. While he had just talked about someone training him, he knew that whoever this had been he or she was destined to be Sai’s Sensei. Sai hopped out of his previous pose, with a smirk on his face, and began to hover over the ground. He had to investigate, it was just normal for him. He flew over to where the power was resonating, and began to look around when he arrived. All he saw was a seaweed woman and a man that was just sitting there, it seemed as which he might have been focusing his ki just like Sai was doing earlier; but Sai never knew whether he was wrong or right. Sai just walked up to the two and calmly said, “Hey you two! My name is Sai!”

Upon the arrival of the younger hybrid, Celmaru's eyes shot open. Immediately shifting his gaze towards Sai, the hybrid spun on his behind to face him properly. Quirking a brow towards the child, he uttered his name as he made his silent, yet spirited greetings. Celmaru's arms and legs remained folded, his gaze flickering towards his wife periodically as he spoke towards his newfound acquaintance. " Hello there, my name is Celmaru Waterfield, and the rather lovely woman over there-" Phae had picked herself up off the patio, floating elegantly above the cobblestones as she unintentionally interrupted her husband. " -Is Phae Waterfield...my wife. I recommend that you refrain from harming her, as you will have to face me if you were to do so...it wouldn't be enjoyable for you." " Don't be rude husband~" " Yes yes, just notifying him of potential consequences of harming a person that doesn't deserve such foul treatment." Celmaru pushed against the cobblestones, beginning to stand upright. As the hybrid did so, the seaweed woman grasped her husband's forearm, resting atop it affectionately. The hybrid's Ki Suppression had begun to slip upon that action, however, with a slight fluster tainting the hybrid's facial features. Unfortunately, several other signatures had appeared, brandishing weapons and suspicious substances developing within any open orifice. Each of them, five in total, spotted Aetherius Brand, marking it as their next target as they scrounged for weapons. Despite being mere bandits upon first glance, these five had a vile creation spawning from their frames, increasing in both power and potency. Before he could continue the seemingly brief conversation with the newcomer to his home, the hybrid took note of the oncoming bandits. Their abnormal power measures were concerning, however, as Celmaru wouldn't be able to practice suppression as efficiently as he had previously. " So what business might you have here, at our home, Sai?" " ...Excuse me for a moment...we have other guests. Sai, please feel free to continue to speak to Phae, once again I recommend you never harm her." Gently detaching himself from his wife's grasp, with a slight push. A mere moment passed before an immense gust of wind swept throughout the courtyard, the hybrid nowhere to be seen. The bandits sprung out of the nearby foliage, making a forward charge towards the upright blade; Aetherius Brand. Their eyes, noses, even their ears were infested with a sort of fungus. The fungi began to glow oddly as their Ki increased exponentially to the hybrid surprise. Phae, meanwhile, stood before Sai, her forearms melting away and shifting into vastly sharpened tendrils. Fortunately, with a flash of white, each bandit froze. The seaweed woman began to relax, however the fungi upon their orifices remained, squirming and throbbing. " My, what...is-" " A bunch of fools!" Mere feet before the two, Celmaru reappeared, his suppression returning as a tiny sphere of red, outlined with white, was launched into the group. As the orb made contact with the Earth, the cobblestones barely moved, however the bandits were caught within the weakened blast radius. The ruffians were all forced onto the courtyard's surface, their bodies unconscious. Folding his arm, the hybrid raised his hand once more, another sphere forming. " This Ki isn't natural, nor is their strength...this grotesque fungi is likely to be the cause." Celmaru paused for a moment, pondering over a thought. " Sai, would you like to eliminate this fungus? Surely you have a grasp of Ki, given that your own energy is akin to my own, as well as a few others. My best guess would entail that you would be a Saiyan Hybrid, however I can only judge that later...as of now, if you'd like, take them out....well, their unnatural Ki enhancement, that is." Lowering his palm, the hybrid faced the other, gesturing towards their offenders with a extended finger. Outstretching his left arm across his chest, he pointed towards the unconscious bandits, each being slowly infested by the fungi. There was an air of rushed decisiveness about Celmaru; if Sai wouldn't do anything, he would. Phae's limbs returned, resting atop each other as she floated above the courtyard, albeit not by much. A concerned, yet uncomfortable expression permeated throughout her facial features, however the hybrid would simply look away, staring at Sai for an answer.

Sai smiled as he was introduced to Celmaru Waterfield and his wife, Phae. He was caught off guard when Celmaru told him not to harm his wife. He understood where he was coming from, but Sai couldn’t harm her even if he wanted too. “Don’t worry Celmaru-san; I wouldn’t hurt her even if I wanted too.”
He smiled at Phae as she asked about what he might’ve been doing here, then immediately Celmaru said that he had other guests. Sai didn’t understand what he meant but he talked to Phae a bit. “Well, I was training earlier and then I sensed your Ki; really strong if I must say so myself. I just wanted to pop by see you two for myself!” Then Sai turned around and saw Celmaru fighting off a few weird looking fungi creatures. Sai wanted to get in the action, as he began to stretch his body again; his signature move before a battle. He then saw that Celmaru had quickly rendered them all unconscious, and Sai was beginning to sense a much higher Ki in him. He didn’t know what Celmaru was up too, but then he asked Sai to eliminate the fungus.
Sai smiled at Celmaru and said, “Of course! I’d love to eliminate this fungus.” A small ki green ball rose from his hand, at the size of a baseball as he walked over to the Bandits that opposed the threat. He then threw his first one at one of the bandits, and he instantly got on fire. Not a shocker, fungus was flammable; but he still threw his Ki blasts at all of them instantly removing the fungi by burning it.
He then walked over back to Celmaru and decided to begin a conversation. “So, Celmaru I see that you can suppress your Ki. Any way for me to see you at your full power?” He smirked at Celmaru, as he placed his hands on the back of his head in a relaxed pose.

" 'San'? Don't use honorifics, that just makes me seem important...or worthy of such formalities. Drop them and we'll both be more comfortable, alright?" The hybrid noted Sai's formal speech as he began to disintegrate the fungus. Celmaru was never used to being respected in any way, however for a child to do so was even more surprising; as many would just throw sticks and stones towards him...if they were allowed to. Folding his arms once more, the hybrid mentally spoke to Phae as the younger hybrid went to work, concluding the incineration process. ' Did he mention anything about why he was here?' ' Sai noticed our Ki, and decided to find us for himself~' '....That sort of blind curiosity could get him killed...' ' Wasn't that how you met Walker?' 'Ah...er...that's different. Sai is a child, he should be more careful in his young age.' ' Whatever you say, husband~' ' ...You don't believe me, do you?' The seaweed woman didn't respond as she nestled upon her husband once more, analyzing the blazing collection of fungi. Specific sections of it all seemed to have resisted the plasma-esqe Ki; before becoming ash like the rest of it. The hybrid quirked a brow towards the orifices that bore the fungi, revealing partially warped skin and muscle tissue. The bandits lied there, twitching periodically as the hybrid once again separated himself from his wife, batching the limp bodies together. " We'll have the community below handle these five. They never do anything down there except live their lives...they could use something to do." Chuckling slightly to himself, Celmaru lifted all five of the bandits, tossing them down the steps that led to the community below; a near microscopic village that houses a mere one hundred people. Each unconscious body fell and crashed into the stone steps with an audible THUMP, one after another, tumbling down towards the village. Phae shook her head, smiling in amusement as Celmaru continued to chuckle. However, Sai noted the evident Ki suppression atop the hybrid's Ki, which made him sigh. Making such a relaxed pose as he casually made an inquiry of the hybrid husband's true power...what a child this one was; he truly was a hybrid Saiyan. Turning on his heel to face Sai, Celmaru's facial expression was nothing more than serious; as his own power could destroy the planet. " You want to see my true power?...Well, prepare to be surprised...well, possibly." Standing upright, bending his arms at their respective elbows, the hybrid accumulated his unrestricted Ki. A pure white, blazing aura ignited about the hybrid's figure, the invisible numbers representing his power measure escalating in massive increments. Thirty-four thousand, ninety-nine thousand, one-hundred sixty-six thousand, two-hundred thirteen thousand, landing upon the number two-hundred forty-seven thousand two-hundred eighty-five (247,285). However, Celmaru wasn't concluding this showcase here. Grasping his Potential from within his very spirit, the hybrid thrust forward his Trained Potential, increasing his Ki fourfold. The cobblestones beneath his feet began to crack via the immense pressure that was building. This allowed Celmaru to stand at an impressive nine-hundred eighty-nine thousand one-hundred forty (989,140). ' Nearly a whole million with my Potential alone...astounding.' Lurching forwards for a moment, another power accumulated. Loose debris within the courtyard began to rise, floating uncertainly above the Earth's surface. There was a flash of gold for a mere fraction of a moment... Then Celmaru's irises melted away into icy blue hues.
With a swift shift of his dark brown hair, that of which spiking skyward, along with another massive surge of Ki, the hybrid had once again transformed into Super Saiyan; however a scream couldn't ever hurt. " HAAAAAAAAGH!" Celmaru's transformation was complete, however there was something else within him, awaiting to see the light of day. Refraining from using such a strenuous form, the hybrid concluded his increases, shifting his gaze to meet Sai as he spoke. The purely golden aura of a Super Saiyan flowed about his frame, dancing with the power it beheld. " This is my true power, that of a Super Saiyan....yet I could go a level beyond that, if you so wished...however I prefer not to." " My, my, I remember when you hadn't mastered Super Saiyan...you were such a handful~" " Yet you seemed to be the one that despised my actions the most." " Touché, husband." Celmaru noticed fluctuating winds and a massive amount of loose debris colliding with the courtyard as he spoke with his wife. The hybrid could only scratch his head sheepishly upon such an over-dramatic display. Making a brisk stride towards both Sai and Phae, the hybrid dismissed his golden aura, simply allowing it to fade into nothing. The previously golden locks of hair had shifted into pale blond shades as Celmaru rested his palm atop his wife's right shoulder, standing beside her towards her left. With a final remark, the hybrid began to revert to his base form, a weak grin spreading across his face. " However Sai, for now..." The pale blond locks of hair began to melt away into a dark brown shade, as his even darker brown eyes began to shift into their normal hues. Celmaru's Ki plummeted to its normal parameters, and he concluded his sentence. " ...I'm not going to be a beacon for the SSE, alright? Now, to discuss where that fungus came from..." The hybrid facial expression shifted rapidly, going from a welcoming, yet weak expression to strange curiosity, yet nervous intrigue. If this fungus was to empower mere ruffians to generic super-human levels, they could pose an issue. A slight slip of green slithered about, hoping to escape without its counterparts. Unfortunately, the hybrid noticed this little escapee, tossing a Ki sphere towards it with little regard for its existence; simple disdain. " Ah, you've missed a little one there..." With a brief flash, another minuscule flame was lit; the final escapee lighting aflame within it's last moments. Celmaru shrugged with his free arm, unsure what to make of this currently worthless threat. It could pose an issue for Sai, however if anyone near his strength or even that of a lesser power was around...he would surely be fine. Phae covered her mouth brief with her right palm, just noticing the remaining scrap of fungus that was lit alight. " What an unfortunate end..."

Sai’s level of excitement rose as he began to see Celmaru’s power level increase gradually. He placed his hands on the back of his head, in his normal laid back position, as he looked at Celmaru shout as his power increased. Then when he reached almost a million with only his potential, Sai’s eyes couldn’t help but pop out. He didn’t know what to say, and this man hadn’t even become what people called a ‘Super Saiyan’.
Immediately, debris began to form around Celmaru and his hair began to spike upwards. This was a form familiar to Sai; not in the way that he used it before, but he had seen it. It was amazing in Celmaru, the yellow spiky hair, and the aura the surrounded him. He looked really cool, and it seemed like Sai was much further than ever getting to this stage. This made him want to train even more; much more. He didn’t bothering listening in on Celmaru and Phae’s conversation, nor did he care about Celmaru killing another one of the running Fungi. Sai smiled and walked over to Celmaru, in a rather calm fashion. He expressed no emotion at all, a blank slate on his face. He plopped himself on the ground, with an ‘Aloof’, right in front of Celmaru. He smiled and said, “So Celmaru, would you mind being my Sensei?”

The hybrid was taken aback by the younger hybrid's sudden comment. "Sensei" Celmaru...the very thought seemed foreign to the hybrid. Shaking his head briefly, Celmaru waved his left hand about, unsure of what he could do for someone at Sai's current strength. Phae pondered this thought, alongside her husband, placing a single finger atop her lips in thought. Chuckling in a rather nervous manner, the hybrid could only explain to Sai. " Er...I'm not sure I can-" "Surely Celmaru can train you!" ' Phae, what are you doing? He's barely over-' ' He's but a child, husband~....Sai has plenty of room to learn and develop his ability!' ' Your Ki can overwhelm his own in an instant!' ' That doesn't mean mine would forever do so~' ' You're still suppressed by your physical body.' ' Exactly! Now, wouldn't you be such a kind husband and support Sai?' Phae shifted her gaze towards her husband, beaming brightly in persuasion. The hybrid grumbled mentally for a moment, potentially regretting his decision; however a hybrid to one is a hybrid to another, and a potential asset he shall be. Celmaru's expression contorted rapidly upon concluding upon an answer for Sai, extending his hand for a brief shake. " I might as well, Sai! I shall train you, however you're going to have to be tested beforehand, understand? I'm not going to be easy on you, either. Prepare for grueling sessions of only training, and the only mark to end your training..." The hybrid gestured towards Aetherius Brand, his lips smirking weakly as he concluded his initial remark. " ...Is to lift Aetherius Brand. Since I can barely lift it in my Ascended Super Saiyan form, I wouldn't think you'd be able to wield it for a while. Feel free to attempt to do so now, however I can't recommend that you should attempt to attack anything." ' Phae, please move away, I guess we're both going to spar now.' ' Understood husband~' With a swift kiss atop the hybrid's cheek, Phae floated away from the two. Shifting his irises towards both his wife, then Sai, the hybrid immediately adjusted his position, entering his usual stance. Placing his right foot promptly behind his left, crouching slightly, the hybrid's arms began to adjust themselves accordingly. With the left arm bending at a ninety degree angle via the elbow, alongside the right arm near his facial features, their respective fingers appearing akin to claws within their current standing, the hybrid had prepared for battle. " Alright, this will be the introductory sparring match. This is only to judge your ability, so fight at your best, understood?" Suppressing his Ki once more, Celmaru shot forwards, arcing his fist backwards to prepare a strike. Thrusting his left fist forwards, the hybrid intended to land a single blow towards Sai, following up simply with a flurry of physical strikes of multiple varieties; punches, kicks, elbows, knees, etc. Celmaru wouldn't use any sort of Ki-based attacks if need be, however he wouldn't hesitate to use such abilities once Sai did. This sparring match would either end too swiftly, or take all day!

All Sai could do was wait and look at Celmaru and Phae as they looked at each other. He didn’t know what they were doing, but he sensed that they were talking telepathically. He really needed that, it would come in handy sometime. There were so many skills that Sai didn’t even know off, or didn’t even have. He was yet, so petty compared to anyone in the galaxy. His mind and body were both like clay, with the ability to be molded and shaped as desired. Yet, when Celmaru told him that he would train him; Sai couldn’t help but give him the widest smile he had ever given. He couldn’t help it, he was overjoyed. He never had someone to train him, even though he asked many; he was always turned down by the gap between his master and himself. They would always say, ‘No, it’s too large; I might kill you.’ Sai didn’t enjoy hearing bullshit, but he put a smile on his face and continued his day. Sai’s attention moved to the blade which Celmaru called Aetherius Brand. When he told Sai that even Celmaru could barely pick it up, and when Sai could pick it up fully that would mark the point of him finishing his training with Celmaru. Sai smiled and said, “Celmaru-Sensei! Arigato, Arigato; and I will not put you down!” Then Celmaru prepared his battle stance, and claimed that they were going to spar. Sai had light weights on, and couldn’t take them off at a time like this; he had to fight Celmaru with his weights, which wouldn’t be easy. He got in his own battle stance, and prepared to fight his Sensei. Sai didn’t enjoy attacking even though his opponent was much stronger than him, and with much more experience. Sai held his position and awaited his Sensei’s next move. Then when his master began to throw mad hands at him, Sai couldn't do anything but block; which is exactly what he did. He grabbed his Sensei's fist in his own, even though he couldn't stand holding his fist for much longer. Sai also blocked Celmaru's kicks with his own legs, which were kind of painful; since he knew his master was suppressing his own Ki. He then quickly jabbed his free left hand at Celmaru's face, trying to get in a cheeky hit on his master.

The hybrid was admittedly unsure what language Sai was uttering, however their spar was the tiniest bit more important at the moment. Grinning excitedly, the hybrid taunted his newfound "student" slightly, poking at this lack of displayed ability. Sure, Sai could block half-hearted strikes, but could he even dodge? Suddenly, a childish fist made its way towards his facial features. Celmaru's lips curled into a light grin as he immediately caught the stray fist. One subject came before the other this time around. " Fair enough work on blocking my strikes....but how about trying to DODGE!" Suddenly flopping backwards, seemingly onto his back, the hybrid promptly placed his right palm atop the cobblestone, shifting his weight around rapidly to sweep his legs across the younger hybrid's feet and calves. If Celmaru was successful, he would swiftly propel himself upwards using a mere Ki Blast's burst, spinning about in midair. Stopping within the azure sky, several feet above Sai, the hybrid would outstretch his limbs, two spheres of Ki forming within his palms as he floated about. A mere fraction of a moment later, the orbs of Ki multiplied in exponential multiplications, being unleashed upon Sai carelessly. Celmaru's arms were a blur as he released an immense plethora of basic Ki Blasts in a seemingly ceaseless barrage. Loose debris began to form within the moment as dust began to accumulate within the courtyard. If the hybrid were to fail in his initial attempt at a knockdown strike, Celmaru would simply zip around the young hybrid, attempting to attack his spine directly. With a bright flash, a red sphere of Ki, outlined with white, formed within his palm. Refusing to utter its name, the hybrid would make his attempt at forcing the orb into Sai's spine, in which it would explode on impact. Regardless of what would occur, Celmaru would shout as he attacked. " DODGE OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!" Whilst Celmaru was sparring with his newfound student, Phae was busy spectating from a safe distance; clutching her stomach as she did so. With her stomach ever expanding, the seaweed woman bore two children at once, both of which increasing her stomach mass by only a partial amount via their recent embryogenesis. Phae's recent growth was noticeable, albeit somewhat subtle. ' Husband?' ' Yes, Phae?' ' Do you ever wonder what our children will be like?' ' I apologize Phae, but is this the best time for this conversation?' ' Sai can't hear us~' ' Regardless, I'm trying to gauge his ability at the moment-' ' Family comes first husband~' ' You're impossible to argue with...' ' You love me and you know it, husband!' ' Er....y-......yes....' Phae smiled mischievously as her husband begun to blush slightly. Among sparring matches and intense battles, the couple still somehow found time to speak with one another. Regardless of private, yet embarrassing matters, the hybrid would cease his assault once his dust and debris were too much to see through, or if Sai was successfully knocked towards the cobblestones. Standing upright, Celmaru folded his arms across his chest, speaking directly to Sai telepathically. ' If we're going to spar with one another, this can't be so one-sided. FIGHT BACK! Show me what you're made of! I told you that I wasn't going to be easy on you!'
Great Blast Crash potentially used for a possible 495 PL! If used 2/3 KP remaining! Sai

Sai’s cheap shot was blocked by his Sensei, and he expected that. He was the great Celmaru after all. Then when he heard about dodging, Sai knew he wouldn’t be able to dodge anything Celmaru threw his way. He felt Celmaru’s hand right behind his spine, he knew he had a sphere of ki right behind him and Sai couldn’t do much really. He then heard his master’s voice in his head. Was he speaking to him telepathically? He had never heard of such a thing, and how one would ever do that. It was confusing and it kind of hurt his head just thinking about it. Yet, he knew he had to focus now and think about what he could do. As he rapidly began to analyzed his master’s previous moves he thought that Celmaru focused much more on hand to hand combat; meaning he might’ve not been the strongest with his legs. Celmaru had Sai in a checkmate position for a bit of time, but then Sai dropped then and attempted to sweep his leg against his Trainer’s. He hoped that he would land this shot, and hopefully make Celmaru-san fall off of his balance. Ultimately, dropping down meant he could avoid the Ki blast for the time being; hopping again his master wouldn’t drop it on him. Most of the time, when this technique succeeded his opponent would be on the ground and Sai would hop up on top of them. Yet, he wasn’t sure if Celmaru would fall for this trick or not; after all he was fairly experienced.
Sai used his leg sweep technique dealing 429 damage and taking one KP from Sai if Celmaru chooses to accept the hit. Celmaru Waterfield

" Now you're using that Saiyan biology of yours!" The hybrid noticed a sudden shift within Sai as he dropped to sweep through his mentor's legs. With the Great Blast Crash in hand, the hybrid simply sprang upwards, albeit not very high, spinning about a certain axis himself to drop a forceful strike upon his student. Despite being a simple drop kick, the hybrid was surely able to land such a simple maneuver. Another telepathic message was given to the other Saiyan hybrid, giving him a word of advice. ' If you're anything like me, or any other Saiyan, or hybrid variation...you'll face a plethora of enemies, each with their own style to fighting; be able to adapt at least somewhat, or else you'll find yourself at a disadvantage.' The Great Blast Crash began to fade within the hybrid's palm, fizzling into nothing as he concluded his brief sparring match. Regardless, Celmaru would allow Sai to counterattack, if need be, however the hybrid would simply dodge or block if need be, adjusting his position to do so. Phae, meanwhile, smiled contently, finding pleasure in knowing that she'd be by her husband's side soon, near the safety of an immense power. Regardless of such supposedly facts, Phae was simply gleeful of where she was within this universe; beside her love interest, pregnant with his child. The hybrid, meanwhile, pressed against his nape slightly, a subtle POP audible within his bones. Exhaling with a hint of satisfaction within his voice, Celmaru's lips curled into a weak grin as he verbally judged Sai's ability. " You have the idea of combat down flawlessly, however sometimes you need to know when to go on the offensive. In certain moments you need to make the first strike, regardless of the likelihood of failure within said strike. That could open more opportunities of future combinations, understand? Now...for your current level of Ki...we have a long way to go for you....a mere one thousand three hundred is not sufficient to protect, nor destroy this planet. A comrade of mine, Walker, wouldn't even bother with you...er...not to offend you. Otherwise, you have plenty of potential for an experienced combatant within you, however there should be something to motivate you a bit more....possibly some heavier training weights? They suppress your Ki, however with the ones that you have currently, I assume, are only so helpful in any sort of training." Suddenly clapping his palms together, he gestured towards his home, asking a simple question. " For now, however, would you like something to eat?" Phae waved towards the two, a tiny platter of cups beside her. Three cups of tea sat atop the platter, one of which was being refilled as the hybrid spoke. The tea, however, wasn't the main attraction here; a small meal was being prepared as they spoke. A minuscule Ki was approaching, revealing itself briefly as a bear; a mere grizzly, to be exact. Another Ki Blast was shot towards the animal, however it wasn't from Celmaru; it was the self-proclaimed cook, Phae. Floating above the cobblestones, bowing as to excuse herself, the seaweed woman acquired the bear to prepare it as a Saiyan meal. " Please give me a moment~" " Take your time, Phae! Now Sai, please tell me about yourself...I do need to know the person I'm teaching, after all."

As his Teacher quickly avoided his attack, Sai couldn’t help but admire Celmaru. He was strong, delightful, and just flat out a great person. Once the spar was finally over and Celmaru gave his student some advice, Sai stood up in a position of gratitude. “Thank you Celmaru-sensei. Thank you. Someday I’ll be like you, Sir.” He said with a grand smile on his face. Sai was fairly hungry, but it would’ve been rude to ask for food or anything so when Celmaru said it was time to eat, Sai was in heaven. As Sai took his cup of tea, and begin to gently and respectfully drink it; he was approached by a question, disregarding how Phae just killed a bear. “Well Sensei… My father use to be in the SSF, or whatever it’s called. You know the evil Saiyan group. He was born on Veggy planet yet bullied for being weak. He moved here met my mom and they made me. Argo, they aren’t here that much so I don’t really care; but I do love them and want to protect them. I’m just an 11 year old boy who wants to get stronger, sensei.”

The hybrid had sat down beside the platter of tea as he acquired his own cup. The young hybrid tanked Celmaru, noting that he'd desire to one day be akin to the Super Saiyan hybrid himself. The hybrid sipped his tea, noticing the ambient commotion of nature surrounding his home. There was an audibly light crashing of minuscule waves within the nearby river, echoing towards the home, alongside the abundant chirps of a plethora of bird species. A light breeze had brushed past the hybrid's dark brown locks, his hair shifting with the wind as he replied to Sai, chuckling slightly as the student took a gulp of his own beverage. " No, Sai...you don't want to be like me. There are only so many things a person may tell another without becoming uncomfortable, however some things must never be told. My childhood was a bittersweet nightmare, infused with brief moments are regret and ire. A mere five months ago, I was barely above where you were, Sai...I couldn't even bring forth my own Hidden Potential at will. I was alone and bitter, secluding myself within the wilderness to train against something......something that was never a threat to begin with. Well, I guess one word that could've described me back then, despite such a minuscule time frame in between...was simply....er..." The hybrid contemplated his vocabulary for a moment, fiddling with his partially filled cup of tea as he drowned within his thoughts. " I suppose....angst...er...is a proper term for it." Meanwhile, Phae was preparing the animal for both harvest and consumption, albeit the prior was already concluded by the time the hybrid was explaining himself somewhat. The bear was already in thick slabs of its red meat, several sections stacked high atop one another for two Saiyans. The seaweed woman didn't require an oven for this, however, as within moments, her Ki had simultaneously fried both stacks of bear; cooking them to a succulent medium-rare and well-done respectively; the prior for her husband, Celmaru, and the other for Sai. Outside the home, the hybrid continued, informing Sai of why his instructor wasn't all that amazing. " I'm a bit more pessimistic than you'd think....alongside being rather easily flustered. The latter, er...is due to my wife's rather straightforward advances that she made when we both first officially met...er...on a physical plane of existence, that is. That, however, is a story for later." Celmaru took another sip before continuing, remembering the words of a certain elder; that to wet your tongue rather than spilling everything you knew at once. " I'm short tempered, I can never bring myself to strike anyone without a reason...yet that is rather hypocritical of me to say, as I've beaten quite of few of those that I've despised in the past. My mind is hyperactive and over-analyzes every combat scenario I'm in, I also happen to escalate certain thoughts beyond what would be considered normal. I'm almost crippled by ceaseless doubt about everything I've ever done or over anything I've ever said. Hell, I might even regret uttering anything regarding this to you, simply because I was convince myself that you'd judge me. Gah, I apologize, I've been rambling...please, feel free to answer what I asked of you earlier." The hybrid sat upright, his cup somewhat empty by now. The younger hybrid had mentioned his parents, and the origins of his Father; none other than the SSE. Celmaru attempted to hide his disgust for the almighty faction....however it wasn't a very effective attempt. The hybrid nearly shattered his expensive piece of china as he suppressed a minuscule shred of ire. " The SSE is a rather....infamous organization. Their leader, the Queen of All Saiyans, otherwise known as Lady Death....or simply by her name; Zucceta. She's a selfish epitome of Saiyan greed for power. The Queen's most valuable asset to her power is a vile plant known as te Seed of Might....which sprouts the Tree of Might....another story for later." Sai's Father, a Saiyan, had migrated to Earth and eventually mated with a Human female; classic. This young hybrid, however, wasn't very educated of his terms regarding Saiyan locations and intergalactic superpowers. " The planet your Father likely hails from is Planet Vegeta, please remember the name." More mention of his parents, alongside their apparent absence. Regardless of the hybrid's initial, albeit mental protest against such dismissive guardians, Sai simply stated that he was an eleven year old child hoping to become stronger. Celmaru grinned weakly, his right palm patting atop the child's cranium. " A simple desire, albeit shallow. Find a motivator, something you hold dear you want to protect, or an item that's valuable to you. Anything that would motivate you to become stronger would definitely support you in your goal...as my immediate family did so for me. Be it a family member, or a family heirloom, or possibly a hidden secret those that came before you had tucked away for another generation...something would surely come your way, a sign would be bestowed upon you. Until then, search for something that you'd want to protect, or savor; whether its this planet, or your family, or anything else within this vast universe." Despite repeating himself somewhat, the hybrid hoped that he would send Sai towards a more selfless direction. The seaweed woman, fortunately, had appeared once more, the lovely sensation of freshly cooked meat permeating throughout the nearby atmosphere. The hybrid placed his cup down immediately atop the platter, shifting his gaze towards his wife as he did so. " The meal is ready, husband~" " You made some for yourself, correct?" " Plenty for both you and Sai." " Take some of mine, you need the sustenance. Those two in there will thank you later." The hybrid pointed an index finger to Phae's stomach, that of which was slightly bloated by now. The couple tainted their facial expressions via a soft blush as Phae handed a truly filled plate of rather well-done bear meat to Sai. Once the younger hybrid collected his portion of the meal, Phae would floated across the patio, promptly sitting beside her beloved husband. Grasping the lukewarm plate of bear meat, Celmaru began to consume the meal swiftly, akin to any other Saiyan his age. Between massive, albeit sloppy chomps, the hybrid slipped several slabs of bear to the seaweed woman, allowing her to eat as well. ' This is for you, as well.' 'I'm not particularly hungry, Celmaru...' ' Can you say the same for the twins?' ' ...I...I cannot.' ' Exactly, now eat...if not for you, then for them.' Hesitating for a moment, the seaweed woman complied, grasping a thin slice of bear meat and chewing upon it periodically. Celmaru was already between his fifth and sixth slab, however that didn't restrict his speech within the meantime. " For the moment....what did you think of that fungus, Sai? It was intriguing how it seemed to have enhanced the Ki of those bandits earlier....any thoughts on it?"

As his Sensei, continued to gabber on; Sai couldn’t help but get bored, after all he was a child and his attention span couldn’t be held for this long. It wasn’t his fault, he didn’t mean to be rude or anything, but as Celmaru began to talk about his life, Sai’s eyes wandered off. Yet, when Celmaru-sensei talked about the SSE Sai’s attention rapidly paid attention to him. The more he learned about them, the more he hated them. It also seemed that his Sensei also hated them, but maybe not as much as Sai. He smirked as Celmaru finished speaking and said, “Zucceta? Hah, I’ll be the one to kill her. Don’t you worry.” Planet Vegeta… What a weird name from a planet. Sai couldn’t wait to talk to his father and talk about all the things that happened to him and the things he learned. He hoped both his father and mother were alright, Sai just had a feeling that they weren’t safe. “My motivation… [pause] Sensei! I’ve got it! My motivation shall be to conquer the SSE, and beat them all! I shall not let them continue or try to hurt anyone! I will not let them hurt anyone!” When Phae-chan brought the food for them, Sai slowly ate his food. He saw that Celmaru gave his wife a bit of meat, and hinted that she was pregnant; with twins. Sai was fairly a slow eater, and didn’t really like to eat rudely. Unlike, his master however who was eating very very very rudely. Sai didn’t seem disgusted, he was used to the way certain Saiyans ate; after all his father had a big appetite. “Well, I’ve never seen something like that fungus. I’m sure that it might’ve come with some throwbacks other than increasing their Ki. Maybe, they don’t have control over their body. Maybe, they can’t even think for themselves. You never know Celmaru-sensei…”

Sai's confident claim to be the one to defeat Zucceta concerned the hybrid; another lesson appeared to be in order for this young hybrid Saiyan. Fortunately for Sai, this lesson would be for another time, as Celmaru suppressed the urge to immediately prove his newfound "student" horribly, horribly wrong. For now, the hybrid would pass a piece of advice from one hybrid to another. " Sai...have you ever seen, or ever sensed this sort of threat? I plead to you, for your safety, contemplate the potential possibilities beforehand...as the Queen has reached a level beyond Super Saiyan, surpassing the majority of this universe in strength. My own mentor is currently unable to match the Queen, and he's surely found a way to swiftly surpass me." Celmaru paused for a moment, a thought occurring to him from a memory; a memory of a similarly ambitious child. " ...That remark...it reminds me of the child Etoru. The first time we met...he was stronger than me, even....at least, at that time. Yet, I'm sure that he's trained a plethora of times since then, reaching well beyond me than ever before. Etoru is a Human-Saiyan hybrid, like us. I wonder if you two could ever meet one day." " Now now, husband...please focus on Sai for now, yes?" " Yes, Phae. I know." Sai continued with his confident speech, boasting that he'd eventually be able to conquer the SSE; destroying them all. How naive this child was...to believe he could eliminate an entire empire by his lonesome. Underestimating such things would lead to a swift, albeit agonizing demise...albeit if he wasn't careful. The urge to prove Sai wrong grew ever greater within Celmaru's mind, however he still suppressed the urge. The hybrid grinned, however the left corner of his lips twitched in a forced fashion, a subtle movement usually noticeable by Phae. Watching the person you're married to grow up does have its benefits. " Its plausible that one can suppress their violence, however defeating an expansive empire such as the SSE will need to be a combined effort of multiple parties." The hybrid's foodstuffs have vanished by this point, along with Phae's. Fortunately, the seaweed woman knew when to conserve leftover food; as she stored several slabs within their home, inside a refrigerator, of course. However, the subject of the suspicious fungi persisted, the curiosity of the hybrid expanding beyond his usual parameters. Suggestions made by the younger hybrid created an immense influx of thoughts within their eldest hybrid's mind, each swirling around and about his cranium like atoms....despite their actual existence being electrical signals sent to and fro via his brain. The constant and random motion of his thoughts escalated as per usual, each ending towards a laboratory location of sorts. " ...Its possible that someone could've engineered this fungus. Natural fungi wouldn't attach itself to unsuspecting Humans. I'll have to look into this further. Feel free to offer any input, Sai." " ...?" Celmaru guided his hand to his chin, an impossible plethora of ideas floating about in his mind; this could take a while.
I apologize for the delay, Sai! Final Exams are painful and time-consuming. ;-;
