Kaula stood on the very end of Snake Way. The tail, to be exact. Not the end she had started from. However.. She felt slightly jipped. She was told that King Kai was at the end of this damn snake. And now she was here! Where the hell was he? The Saiyaness growled, a finger reaching up to scratch at one of her pointed ears. "Where.. The h-.. Was I lied to?" the girl mumbled to herself. She turned, glancing back to where she came from. Sure, she could always head back if she wanted. However.. She felt like she'd end up missing something over here and would have to be sent back or something stupid. She sighed, closing her eyes as she went to sit down. "I swear to the now dead and robot kami. If this was one of those bullshit 'the training was in you the whole time. it's the journey, not the destination..'" the girl muttered, crossing her arms before moving to sit criss cross applesauce, "I am gonna be pissed." she muttered. She eventually opened her eyes, glancing forward for a second. Nope. Nothing there. To the right ma- Nah. There was nothing there either. To the lef- Nope. The mocha skinned girl sighed, leaning backwards as she arched her head back. "I swear. When I g-" she cut herself as she spied something up above. It was up there that she noticed it. A small speck up above. It was, clearly, a planet! A small one at that! Kaula sighed as she slowly stood up, dusting herself off. "Might as well try it. Looks pretty far away." the girl mumbled. She crouched down before she would rocket into the sky, her blue aura overtaking her as she took flight! Of course, it didn't take her long at all! No, not at all. It turns out what she thought was a normal-sized planet just really far away. Was a.. Very.. VERY small planet just kinda far away. She hovered near it for a few moments before getting closer. Of course, this worked out poorly for the unprepared Saiyaness as she was sent careening to the ground, slamming into it painfully with a groan. Well, she didn't know that the gravity on this small thing was so immense. She started to slowly stand up. Luckily for her, she was accustomed to such higher gravity settings than normal. The girl took a few seconds to look around, "I think I can walk around this whole planet in a minute.." she mused out loud, a smirk rising on her face, "Probably less." she said as she decided to approach the only building on the planet. Her hands laid firmly on her hips. "This is probably where he lives or something.." she muttered, her emerald eyes glancing at the car for a second, "Cool ride." she muttered before returning to look at the house. She cupped her hands together over her mouth, "HEY! Anyone in there! I was told to come over here to meet some King Kai dude! You in there!?"

"Ahh ... Another day, another flower."
The diminutive King Kai stood up, sighing happily as he dusted off his hands. He had just finished planting some more seeds for his garden on the underside of the planet. Even though he had a student to train, he still needed to have some time to himself once in a while. It wasn't like Pieter was going anywhere, after all. He turned to Bubbles, who had suddenly become absent. The little monkey was right next to him only moments ago; where did that little rascal run off to?
Before he could solve the mystery, however, a loud thud could be heard from the opposite side of the world. The Kai's brow raised in interest, as he slowly strolled over to the opposite end of this very small planet.
Meanwhile, Kaula would find herself greeted by a very cute little monkey. He grabbed at the girls pants, tugging at them as he looked up at her curiously. Just like the other new arrival, she had a brown tail! Bubbles started to dance around her, occasionally clapping with glee.
Soon enough, a voice would come from behind the former Crane Sensei. "Ah, I see you found Bubbles! Good work, miss."
King Kai walked towards her, his hands placed behind his back as he approached. "You must be Koala, yes? King Yemma told me he sent you my way. It's a pleasure to meet a warrior of the old Crane School."

Kaula stood there for a few moments. She glanced down at the ground, tapping her foot lightly on the ground. "How does such a tiny planet.. Have gravity even stronger than Vegeta's?" Kaula asked herself, musing quietly. It was hard to believe. Though she shuddered, encountering the possibility it was some weird hokus pokus magic mystic stuff. That stuff was always confusing. However, lost in through she soon noticed the little hand reaching out to her. She blinked, looking up at the monkey for a second. She crouched down for a second, narrowing her eyes as she stared at it.
"Are you.." she started, thinking for a few seconds, "... King.. Kai..?" she asked before she heard the voice behind her. The girl flailed, falling onto her ass before looking backwards. "Huh.. Found.. Bubbles..?" she asked before looking towards the monkey. She blinked a couple times before she put two and two together! No way! That means the monkey.. ISN'T KING KAI AT ALL! She quickly moved to stand up, turning to face the.. Little blue man.
It was a bit to take into. Was this really King Kai? For a second she almost preferred the monkey. "It's.. Uh. It's Kaula." she said as she dusted herself off. "I take it you're this King Kai then? And just how do you know I am part of the Crane School?" the girl asked as she blinked.

"Oh, Kaula! I knew I must have gotten the name wrong somehow. I'm not too good with new people, I guess. Besides, Koala seems like a very silly name for a Saiyan, anyways." King Kai's mind wandered for just a moment, snickering at the idea of a Koala Bear with golden fur and electricity dancing around him. He stifled his laughter, coughing lightly to clear the air.
The Kai nodded. "Yep! That's me! King Kai. I watch over the entire Northern Galaxy, making sure no universe-threatening things begin to arise. Like that tree the Queen of Saiyans keeps planting. I train heroic warriors like yourself to become the best they can be! I've trained quite a few powerful folks! Perhaps you've heard of ... Well, no, that's before your time." The Kai trailed off for a moment, trying to think of a more recent example of one of his students. Before he could pick one, however, Kaula posed a question.
"Hm? How did I know? I'm a Kai, that's how! It's not hard to know things about powerful warriors if I check in on them from time to time." Though this sounded quite impressive, it was also quite false; King Kai had never once heard of Kaula before today. It was only due to King Yemma sending a copy of Kaula's life file that he was aware of her tutelage under the School of Crane.
He walked past the girl, heading towards his house as he spoke. "Would you like some tea, Kaula? I've got some boiling inside if you're interested." Without waiting for a response, the Kai would step inside, heading to his teapot, which was beginning to whistle...

She flashed a smile when he finally got her name right. It was okay. At least he finally got it. To be fair hearing it pronounced wrong kind of irked her. Wait.. Did he say he watches over the whole northern galaxy!? "WOAH! Really!? The WHOLE Galaxy!?" she asked, clearly a bit surprised. That was when she was mentioned. The queen of the Saiyans. Zucceta herself. Her eyes narrowed and her arms crossed, the girl was clearly frowning. "Assuming you heard how I died then?" the girl asked. "So.. If you train heroes.. And that means I'm a hero. Do you want me to get the seed away from her or something? I mean I could do that. Probably. I think I was pretty close to her in strength. After all we both have obtained the final transformation of the Saiyans!" the girl said with a goofy grin. And her grin only got bigger when he said he knew about opowerful warriors when they checked in. That clearly ment she was certainly powerful and that gave a nice boost to her ego. "Eh? Tea?" she asked, a bit surprised at the offer, "Well.. I-.. I guess. I'd like to get training right away. There's someone I have to find after I finish my training." the Saiyaness explained with a determined nod.

King Kai's head lowered for a moment, a somber sigh escaping him as he replied. "Yes, I am aware. The former Kami was the one who killed you. It's a shame, really; he was strong, and quite a good Guardian... Now he's just a shell, kept alive solely for destruction. Someone needs to defeat him, to free his mind from the anger it is now entangled by. Once that happens, we can all rest easy."
The Kai turned back to Kaula, chuckling lightly at her next question. "Well, I suppose if that's what you want to train for, you can go ahead and do so! Keep in mind though, there's not many ways to actually return to the living world--if you don't do it through the Dragon Balls, then you'll need to figure out some other, less simple way to get back to your realm."
With a smile, the Kai sat down at a small wooden table inside his home, gesturing for Kaula to sit opposite him. "Your training will start soon, we just need to talk first."
His antennae twitched briefly, causing the Kai's telekinetic power to grip the teapot nearby. It floated over to the table, pouring tea into two separate cups, before floating one of the cups over to Kaula. The teapot floated down to a nearby stove, waiting patiently to be picked up once again.
"I hope you enjoy. It's a special blend I've been working on for years."
The Kai took a sip of his tea, sighing happily as he lowered the cup. "So tell me, who are you looking for? Is it the girl who died just before you... Reikiko, I believe?"

Kaula frowned at the thought. Sure, she wasn't member number one of the Bing fan club. That position probably went to Maeve. Or Etoru. Still, Kaula didn't like seeing him as a robot. Hell, made her mad! He was a puppet more than anything. Still, the Saiyaness let out a cough as she moved through out the room. It didn't take her long to take her seat, scootching the chair in slightly before she leaned back.
Would that be why she wants to train? To get rid of that seed? To destroy Bing? Or.. She paused. Those were two legit ideas she had. Both were a danger to the galaxy, she supposed. Why not both?
She simply nodded to him in response, taking up her own cup. She looked at the tea before sniffing at it lightly. Kaula was starting to take in a sip when she heard her wife's name. Of course, she was caught off guard, nearly choking on what she was drinking.
After a few seconds she cleared her throat as she started to nod slowly, "Y-yeah. She's my wife. Why wouldn't I be looking for her?"

King Kai's antennae twitched lightly as Kaula revealed she was indeed looking for her love. He searched Otherworld for but a moment, before quickly finding the woman Kaula was referring to. It seemed she was sent a different way. "Your search shouldn't last too long, then. She's in Hell." He took another sip of his tea, before continuing. "Her misdeeds were too great, it seems. Knowing her though, she'll find a way to escape sooner rather than later... And to be honest that worries me. She might be vindictive upon returning to the living world..." His brow furrowed as he fell into thought. Would Reikiko turn out to be worse for the Universe than even this Queen is?
The Kai let out a fake cough, quickly returning to the present moment. He hoped Kaula wouldn't do anything too rash in the moment after hearing the news. "I know you probably want to try and rip your way through to Hell and meet up with Reikiko, but that wouldn't be a very good idea. You'll both be able to get home someday, so let her do her thing while you do yours up here!"
His muscles tensed slightly. He wanted to ask a couple of questions, but he waited a moment. He had to be ready to try and stop her from jumping off the planet, just in case.

Kaula seemed to sigh. So it was true, then. Reikiko wasn't mistaken or anything. She was in hell. She just sorta sighed again, her free hand rubbing at her face lightly. "Yeah. I know that much." she muttered out as she went to sip at her tea a little bit. "However, I'll keep her in line if she goes off too crazy and all. Hopefully, at least." the Saiyaness explained.
Despite her usual tendenacies to do rash things, she didn't act. Not yet. A hand came up to wave lightly. "Nah. She has this.. Telepathic stuff and she was talking to me a little on the way here. She told me to get what I need to get done up here first before I go find her. Which I will." she said as she smirked.
"Besides, I sure that I will need whatever you'll teach me to help kick her ass if she goes all 'vindictive upon returning to the living world'. I mean, no offense to her. But she isn't really the kill all people type. She's more of a.. These people hurt my feelings so I'm leaving you for a few months, Kaula." the girl said with a slight eyeroll.
"Really ticks me off sometimes, you know?"

King Kai blinked in surprise. She wasn't just going to run off? That was... An oddity, for sure. The Kai sighed in relief. "That's good to hear! I was getting myself ready to track you down if you ran away." He snickered lightly at the idea of essentially playing hide-and-seek with a Super Saiyan. As Kaula explained her annoyance with some of Reikiko's actions, King Kai nodded. It was normal for married couples to have problems here and there, after all. "I see... That puts my mind at ease, then. Perhaps her return from hell will simply be one filled with pouting and passive aggressiveness."
He drank some of his tea, but quickly realized he had run out. It seemed in his earlier nervous state he had drank all of his delicious tea! The teapot from before slowly floated over, pouring him another cup. The Kai placed his cup down quickly, speaking in a curious tone.
"Now, Kaula, I have to ask... Why is it that you fight? Is it just for fun? Or maybe you just want to better yourself? Everyone has something different they want to accomplish by fighting, after all."

Kaula relaxed, closing her eyes as she sipped the tea. "Psh. Like you'd be able to keep up with me if I ran off." she mused to herself with a soft chuckle after the sip. "But yeah." the girl started with a sigh. "I, at least, hope it will be that. I certainly hope she won't end up as a second Zucceta." the girl stated, frowning, "Would hate to have to stop that." she tacked onto it.
That's when he hit her with the hard question. One of those questions. Fuck those questions. They annoyed her. Not because she heard them often. But because she had no real clue. The Saiyaness sighed, setting down her tea cup to answer, "Before.. It was to prove that the Super Saiyan wasn't a legend. That I was.. One of the strongest alive." the girl started, chuckling as she scratched her head.
She recalled past events. Avalon.. Meeting Reikiko.. Protecting her. Loving her. Meeting people like Bing, like Xitica. Like Cipher and his wife. Etoru. Seeing her mother again. Meeting her brother for the first time. Seeing his wife and the children.
"However it's not really.. That anymore. It's more of a.. It's just what I do now. I am not going to end up as some loser behind a desk for the rest of their lives. I don't want to model. I do this to protect people, I guess. Some who can't defend themselves. Some I don't want to get involved in the fight." she answered, simply giving a shrug. "I mean, I guess that's an answer you probably get a lot if you teach people but that's kinda it. It's all I really know. You won't see me, like.. Writing a book or anything."

King Kai smiled happily at Kaula's response. Sure it was a common one, but that definitely was not a bad thing in the slightest. "Protection is a noble cause. I wish it were a more common answer, honestly." He set his cup aside, taking to a stand with immensely surprising dexterity.
His sincere expression shifted to a more serious one as he pointed directly at the girl. "Starting now, I will teach you the way of the Kaio, and the strength we possess... But! You must prepare yourself! This will be the hardest training you've ever undergone! Are you prepared for the challenges ahead, or do you wish to back out?!"

Kaula was, to say the least, surprised that the old and somewhat rotund man could stand up that fast. And she was a bit surprised at the sudden shift in expression. She sighed as she set one hand on her knee, the other setting down her own tea cup as she moved to stand up. She didn't stress about moving too fast. After a second she dusted herself off, "Of course I am prepared!" she replied with gusto, laughing a little bit, "Though do not underestimate me! I have been through a lot and I am one of the masters of the Crane school! I will be able to take whatever training you throw at me, old man!" --- (Sorry for the short post as well!  ) |

A bright smile appeared on King Kai's face. Kaula's enthusiasm was a good thing. He folded his arms, nodded, and spoke. "Excellent! We'll begin training... Tomorrow."
The Kai made his way outside, waving to Kaula as he exited the house. From the outside, he shouted toward the Saiyan. "Get comfortable, Kaula! Your training will take quite some time, but I promise you it'll be more than worth it!" King Kai entered the garage next to his house, and closed the shutter quickly.

Kaula blinked a couple of times as she stared at him. So it was starting.. Starting.. TOMORROW. Not today!? She was shocked! How can.. Someone who was apparently so powerful.. Be so lazy? She went to stand up, the shock now visible on her face.
"Wait! Shouldn't we be starting as soon as possible!?" she asked as he started to leave. It would take time? But.. All the threats! All of them that were threats RIGHT NOW! If she took her time, then what if those threats get stronger than her!? Wouldn't it be best if she took them out.. Now!?
She pointed at King Kai.. Or rather where he was as he left, "Just you watch! QUITE SOME TIME MY ASS! I WILL FINISH IT FAST! FASTER THAN ANYONE YOU EVER HAD!" the girl exclaimed.
Right, she thought, eventually sticking her hands on her hips. Well, she had a free day. Might as well get some short solo training in.
