“All system's are good to go Bana, we can take off whenever you want just give me the heads up” Jala said as she continued doing the remaining flight preparations for the ship as her daughter, the Commander of the Empire, sat on one of the ship's protruding fin like engines, thankfully for Habana the engines of the Eclipse did not need to be active until just before takeoff meaning that she need not discover if her transformed state could withstand the heat of a star ship's engine. “Sounds good to me, I think we should make our way back home as quickly as possible. I've probably left Vegeta unattended for far too long with how many enemies we have out in the universe.” and those enemies would likely be growing with the recent events. Another Tree, another dead world. This time however things were at least a bit different at least on the galactic scale, Kanassa was not the slaughter that Arcose had been. Arcose had been a systematic effort on Zucceta's part to remove as many Arcosians from play as possible.
Kanassa was just a means to an end, an ideal location to plant the Tree due to its choice to become neutral after the Arcosians failed to protect them and the SSE successfully devastated there world, it had only taken a single Saiyan to do that, idly Habana wondered if the Kanassan's had seen Mayze's attack coming. There had been, from his reports, little actual resistance. Perhaps they had known that Mayze would not actually finish the world off? The precognition possessed by the fish like people of Kanassa was a dizzying thing to think of. One would think that if they truly had such insight that they would have worked to become strong enough to fend off the attack personally.
Of course just because it was not as likely for the SSE to receive as much backlash from Kanassa as it had from Arcose in the galactic scale of things, the more specific scale of Earth's warriors was an entirely different ballpark. Zucceta hadn't just beaten the Guardian of Earth, she'd KILLED him and considering his ability to telepathically contact her she had to imagine he had used the very same ability to speak with others more close to him, others who would likely spread the news that the Queen had murdered the Guardian.
Flexing one hand Habana could feel her new power coursing through her system, now however the dangers Earth's warriors posed were hopefully less substantial, there would certainly be some response from them, but with Zucceta's new form and her own increased power Habana felt confident that any backlash would be made irrelevant. Tossing the object in her other hand in the air Habana caught it taking a moment to look it over. It was a fairly unassuming fruit, but Habana knew quite well that its appearance was quite deceiving, she'd already eaten one of them and felt the surge of power. She'd held onto this one with the intention of offering it to her mother, but to her surprise Jala had declined, she wanted Habana to have it, to make sure that she was as strong as she'd need to be to protect the Empire once Earth made there likely inevitable move.
Pushing off of the engine Habana would plant a firm foot on one of her platforms before kicking off flipping into the air and landing in the co-pilot seat of the Eclipse, for the ride back her mother had volunteered to pilot, mostly Habana believe in order to avoid having to deal with Habana's driving. Personally Habana didn't quite understand her mother's problem with pushing the Eclipse to it's top speed at all times, it was exhilarating to move so fast. But regardless she had accepted, it would give her time to think without needing to keep as close a focus on not crashing into a meteor or planet.
“Lets get this show on the road” Habana said with a grin as the Eclipse sealed itself, Habana heard the telltale rumble of the engines as the inside of the Eclipse lit up with an almost overwhelming amount of information, Jala was quick to take it all in and take off setting a course for Vegeta, for home.
-Indeterminate Time Later-
The ship hummed quietly as Habana stared out into the vastness of space, at some point her mother had initiated the ship's autopilot in order to catch a bit of sleep, part of Habana had been tempted to take the reigns and rocket onward but instead her attention returned to the fruit, she'd still not eaten it, now was perhaps as good a time as any though, she'd been tempted to save it for someone like Pin but Habana was frankly unsure if he'd even benefit from the fruit considering his nature as an entirely artificial being.
Flipping the fruit over in her hand once more Habana brought it to her mouth and took a bite, initially it was quite similar to the first time she'd eaten one of the fruits, a rush of power, a tensing of all of her muscles... but then there was a strange jolt that ran through her body and then everything became blurry.
Habana's first thought was that she had somehow gotten a 'bad' fruit that there was something inherently wrong with her second one, or that perhaps not simply eating it right after it was picked was causing some sort of detrimental effect rather than simply making her stronger. This thought persisted even as the blur began to fade as Habana realized she was no longer sitting in the Eclipse, she was standing, somewhere that felt familiar but the strange haze that seemed to be permeating all of her thoughts prevented her from identifying it exactly.
She tried to move but found herself incapable, then quite suddenly her body DID begin to move, but not where she had wanted it nor would it respond as she attempt to regain control of herself, and try as she might to shout she remained silent, she pushed open a door and inside the room was another figure standing with it's back turned to her, it took a moment to recognize it but the telltale silver hair helped immensely.
And then he was gone, and then the world was gone, Habana was plunged into darkness, but she heard a voice, familiar and yet strangely foreign until she recognized it as her own. “Zucc what have you done...” her voice sounded deeply disturbed. And then as if she'd just blinked her eyes Habana was back on the Eclipse, the fruit in her hand already mostly eaten she could feel that it actually had produced it's standard effects in addition to... whatever THAT had been.
