Thread PL: 202,938 X11 Permanent Bing Gan / Lord Xylo It was bright out, just like always. There didn't seem to be days or nights in Hell, just the ever constant dull glow and endless wasteland. One of the few dots in the ever-same mire was the enclave that the fallen Lord Tuner had created. It was this location that had become Walker's temporary home while he searched out Cernunnos. Ever since he got his body back, he had been searching for the demon lord. So far, there had been no success. For whatever reason, he had lost his trace on the being after he got his body back. Perhaps the demon had felt his energy, and decided to go to ground. Musing over this, Walker frowned slightly. What to do... he hadn't seen Tuner in a bit, but it was true that he didn't necessarily mind. He did enjoy having family, but he also wasn't entirely certain about the Mazoku lord just yet. He was friendly, and had been teaching Walker a lot, but he had something... off about him. Dampening down the feelings of discontent, the tree strode down along a boulevard, looking around at the various ne'erdowells that inhabited this little patch of Avernus. Suddenly, from the distance, a power level came into his senses. It felt much like Tuner's, and his own. His Ki flared immediately, and he ascended to a point well above the minarets and rooftops of the city. From what appeared to be a very distant mountaintop, a power was approaching. Given what Tuner, Alastair and Kizuki had said... this must be Xylo. That, or another child of Tuner/Essence Donor, and he was about to feel like an idiot. One or the other. As he hovered over the city, waiting, he wondered what was causing Xylo to come this way, and fidgeted slightly. Then, blinking slowly, he smacked his forehead. Just because he couldn't contact anyone he knew in the Living World... He did feel like an idiot, but for a different reason than he expected. Focusing his mind, he contacted the approaching Power Level, sending a concise message through his Telepathy. "Pardon me, but are you the son of Tuner known as Xylo? Our father had mentioned you, and it seemed most likely from our similar energy. My name is Walker, a magically created life-form... and I suppose I would be your brother." Message finished, he rested in the air, arms folded behind his back, and considered what to say or do when Xylo arrived. He had never met the Namekian, but he had hear some things about him. Well, he was in hell, after all. He might as well get used to everyone being somewhat evil. Still, it disconcerted him just how casually accepted it was. The sooner he found Cernunnos, the sooner he could leave. At that thought, it occurred to him he had no idea where he would get out in the living world. He had found the place he intended to escape, but if he came out in the middle of a war zone....

[Thread PL: 122,533 | Heavy Weights OFF]
The Namekian Warrior shot across the sky like a bullet, his little Wizard friend trailing close behind him. The duo were on their way to the Blood Pond, as the Wizard had suggested they attempt to steal a golden peach from some legendary tree that grew near the pond. Xylo could vaguely recall seeing a tree near that pond, though he wasn't certain if he saw any golden fruit growing from its branches.
As he soared through the sky, his ears began to twitch. He heard someone... No... He felt someone speaking to him. It felt similar to Alaistair's telepathic ability. The person questioned who Xylo was, as well as adding that he was related to the Namekian. "Yeah that's me... You say you're my brother eh? Why don't we see how true that is. Wait where you are, I'll be there soon." With his request made, Xylo's aura ignited, causing the Namekian to start flying even faster than before.
It took him only a moment to reach the Tree Warrior. He eyed the creature oddly, arching his brow as he felt out the Warrior's Ki. It felt similar to how his Father felt, though it was mixed with the Ki of others, making his true origin hard to discern. Still though, he had Mazoku blood in him, making him at the very least his half-brother.
His serious expression was suddenly replaced with one of joy. "Well! It seems you certainly are a brother of mine! I can feel the Mazoku blood coursing through your veins!" He moved forwards, extending his hand for a handshake.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Walker. Tell me, what made you end up in this dump? Did you get slapped around by one of the Warrior Caste?"
As the two conversed, the Wizard sat patiently behind Xylo. Though he didn't mind the wait, he would have preferred that they keep moving along to their destination.

Walker raised an eyebrow at the odd figure behind Xylo, extending a hand at the joyous Namekian. Who was that? "It is a pleasure to meet you as well. As to why I am here... well, it was partially my own choice, due to a desire to find someone, but I suspect my attempt to blow up Vegeta and halt the SSE's war machine didn't help much. I might have ended up here regardless." It was true, as well. King Yenma had seemed skeptical of his goodness after that. It would take quite a bit to recompense for that if he ever intended to stay in the Afterlife. Still, that seemed boring, if he was honest, and he had only been alive for a year. He intended to push the next death as far as he could.
Turning, he faced in the direction that Xylo was headed. "Here, let us talk while we fly. You appear to have somewhere to go, and I don't want to detain you too much with my intrusion." Heading towards the Blood Pond, he turned to the side, looking toward Xylo and communicating via telepathy as he flew. "As to my actual death... with the SSE's victories on Namek and Kanassa, they are currently poised to fully conquer the major powers in this universe. Thankfully, Namek's Dragon Balls were going to be made by a Namekian named Helix, who wasn't on the planet, but Earth."
He chuckled slightly. "As such, I and another fighter, a Bio-Android named Rei, took a spar. If she won, she could absorb me, boosting her own power to give us a chance while I trained in Hell. I believe you've met the Bio Koramund? He apparently has escaped a few times." He paused for a moment, then muttered "Not.... sure how. He seems to be a complete lunatic, as far as I can tell, but...apparently he has."
"Anyway, I took the risk, and am currently using the afterlife to train. I am only at about 2.3 million PL units or so, at the moment, and the Queen of the Saiyans is more than twice what I am. If the SSE is going to be stopped, I can't remain as I am. Speaking of which..." He flipped over, folding his arms and flying backwards. "I heard that you had a run-in with them as well? I assume I can guess how it ended, but other than that."
He hadn't expected Xylo to be quite so friendly, but apparently, just like his father, he was quite fond of family. The phrase "Blood in your veins" wasn't entirely accurate, given blood didn't actually run in his notably absent veins, but the sentiment was there. He appreciated that, honestly. Still, he would have to keep an eye on Xylo... the Namekian had ended up in Hell somehow, after all, and assuming it was minor was likely to be a mistake he would regret. Still, the afterlife was fairly binary. Perhaps he was just too violent for heaven.

As he heard Walker's explanation, he couldn't help but burst out into laughter. "PFFFFFTAHAHHAHA! You tried to blow up Vegeta?! You might as well have signed your life away as soon as you entered their air space!" He places a hand on Walker's shoulder as his laughter begins to die down. The Namekian wipes a tear from his eye as he speaks again. "Hoo boy ... My apologies, but that is the best thing I've ever heard. I mean, I tried plotting with Alaistair to overthrow Zucceta, but at least we didn't stand on the rooftops and shout out that we're up to no good!"
The Mazoku nodded as the Tree decided they stay on the move. It was for the best in Xylo's case; the faster he got that fruit, the better. The duo began to fly at a decent speed, with the diminutive Wizard following closely behind. Still, the Wizard spoke not a word.
The green-skinned warrior listened intently to Walker's tale. It was interesting, to say the least. Not many would willingly offer themselves as a meal to their opponent if they lost. Even offering that showed Walker had a hefty amount of bravery under his belt. "I see... I hope you gave her one hell of a beating before she did you in." At the mention of Koramund, Xylo couldn't help but chuckle. "Yeah, I know him. We fought together on Namek before it all went to shit. If he can escape hell, then anyone can."
As the topic of conversation shifted to Xylo, he hesitated for a moment. He contemplated playing up his death, but there was no real point in lying to someone when you were already dead, especially someone related to you.
"Well, let's see ... After my brief alliance with the Red Eclipse, I travelled to Vegeta. Whilst there, I met up with both Kizuki and Alaistair. We got along fairly well, so we decided to do some ... Shall we say ... Evil plotting? We wanted to take over the Solar Empire's home world while the Queen and her best soldiers were away on Earth. It was a solid plan, but the war ended quicker than expected, so we dropped the idea. In hindsight, it was probably for the best; Zucceta survived, so she could have ended our usurping within seconds.
After that, Namek suddenly re-appeared. If you somehow weren't aware, this 'Re-alinger Red' fellow had turned the whole place to dust, which infuriated me. Once the planet returned, we bee-lined it to my home, because, obviously, we wanted to take it over. We had little trouble ... At first. Apparently, Namek attracted the attention of the Solar Empire as well. They sent a Super Saiyan named Mayze, and an Android named Pin. Suffice it to say, we didn't win. I'll say this though! We almost got him! If it weren't for that damn Senzu Bean the planet would have been ours."
He sighed dejectedly, folding his arms in disappointment before he continued. "At the very least, this trip to Hell might prove good for my strength. Apparently I've attracted the attention of a Demon Prince known as Beelzebub. My assumption is he either wants me as his evil errand boy, or he wants to train me. Either way, I'll get a good workout."

Making a dismissive grunt, Walker glared over at the Namekian. "Yes, well, I actually would have gotten away with it if my allies didn't get all fussy about it. It's worth noting, I walked out of there just fine. As much as they likely would have given me a bad time, they also didn't want to start a fight with me." A bit of a bending of the truth, but that had actually stung somewhat. He and Alastair had planned to overthrow Zucc, though? Presumably before she had managed to completely outclass most of the known Galaxy in terms of raw power. It was rather astonishing, honestly. A level beyond Super Saiyan... he would just have to find a level beyond that. Dismissing the topic for a moment, he listened to Xylo's story, musing on the implications of his words as the Mazoku recounted exactly what had happened on Namek. Hmm. So, they had.. gone to his home? He was having trouble deciding how to categorize his half-brother. From the sound of it, the fairly peaceful Namekians had been quite harsh on their more warlike brethren, which might have been somewhat justified... but based on Lusca's fear of being called Mazoku, despite doing nothing to earn it, and the utter lack of use the Warrior Caste had been... it sounded like they were having more issues than just Mazoku behavior.
Besides, if you ostracize your warriors for centuries, things like being forced to rely on the SSE occur. That was... less than optimal. "I see. While I confess, I don't believe we're quite on the same motivational path, I do agree with quite a few things you've said. One, that Family is quite important." He firmly believed that, regardless of what else occurred. He might not LIKE what his new relatives did, but so far, it just seemed more self-interested, and their actions were definitely better than the SSE. "Secondly, the Queen of the Saiyans needs to be hurled from that throne of hers via the most violent means possible."
His voice took on a slightly mocking tone. "Although, I have to say... I have a student, an ally much like Kizuki is to you, who is part Saiyan. In the time since I met him, shortly after the news of the attack on Namek, to just before I died, he has reached Super Saiyan. He started at around... oh, 35,000 units? Somewhere around there." He chuckled. "He got a bit uppity when he transformed, I was forced to knock him out." The entirely unsubtle jab back at Xylo after his mocking about Vegeta taken care off, Walker coughed.
"Although, about the Earthlings... part of the reason I'm here, actually. Most of Earth is basically ignoring Namek at the moment. I believe the current belief is that it's now owned by the SSE." The tree was audibly irritated by this, and the reason wasn't long in forthcoming. "There aren't any Earthlings headed to Namek, as far as I'm aware. They're just sitting at home and letting the SSE steamroll the Galaxy while getting all indignant. Something I suspect is quite familiar to you."

Xylo nodded, his brow rising slightly with interest as Walker revealed who exactly had stopped him. It wasn't often those opposed to an empire would stop its destruction. It took him a moment, but the Namekian soon realized the problem. He let out a groan. "Oh, you work with those hero types often, don't you? I'm not well versed in Earth lore, but I do know they've got a lot of powerful Ki Users. If I had to guess, they probably consider themselves 'righteous' or 'warriors of justice' or some other foolish crap. Those types hate solving things simply! You've always gotta take the monotonous, 'peaceful' approach when working with them."
He pointed a finger at Walker, deciding to speak aloud rather than use their telepathic link. "Regardless of how opposed you and I are on the scale of good and evil, we have to agree: sitting on your laurels and hoping the enemy doesn't attack is going to be Earth's downfall. You need to retaliate for the Saiyan Invasion, but you can't do it alone. Even a God can be felled by insects, should he have no friends to defend him from the swarm."
The Mazoku quietened for a moment, listening to Walker as he revealed his own want to destroy the Queen in a most painful way. Xylo chuckled. "Yes, destroying the Queen seems to be a feat many wish to accomplish. Nowadays however, it seems that feat is becoming harder and harder to achieve. She is increasing in strength all the time. Even here in the depths of hell, murmurs have spread of her villainy. If her deeds can reach all the way down here, then she must already be as strong as multiple Super Saiyans combined..." Xylo frowned. He wanted to be the one to end the Queen, but with her being so strong already, there was no way he would ever be her equal, let alone her better.
His ears twitched as he heard the Bio-Tree speak of his student. It was a clear jab at Xylo's inability to deal with a single Super Saiyan, while also boasting of his own strength. He considered throwing out his own insults, but decided against it. "You've trained up your own Super Saiyan, eh? Not bad. Kizuki is on the cusp of that legendary form as well, I believe. He just needs some kind of push, though."
Walker moved the topic back to Namek, revealing that Earth was not actually on their way to the glorious green planet! A vein bulged in Xylo's forehead, revealing his anger before he even spoke. "Are you kidding me?! I was content with knowing that the damn Super Saiyan would get his lights knocked out by your Guardians while I was busy training here, but he gets to go home to celebrate?! Looks like I'll have to train even harder; first to kick Mayze's ass, then to kick your friends asses for being unhelpful lollygaggers!" Xylo's aura began to pulsate around him as his fury rose. For a moment, Walker would be able to sense Xylo's full power; an honestly unimpressive 857,000.
The Wizard, who was until this point silent, flew closer to Xylo. He placed a hand on the Namekian's shoulder pad, attempting to calm him. "Now now, Xylo, there's no need to start raging around like an Oozaru. We're closing in on the Lake of Blood, after all."
Xylo blinked rapidly, his aura dismissing as he looked ahead. As the Wizard said, they were indeed closing in on their destined location. The Blood Lake was just visible in the distance, meaning it wouldn't take long for them to reach it now. The Mazoku smirked as he picked up his speed. "Very well then, let's keep moving!"
As they continued to fly, Xylo turned to Walker, speaking in a curious tone. "So, Walker ... Got any kids?"

It wasn't polite to laugh, but Walker was sorely tempted to do so after the obvious annoyance of Xylo. He didn't mean to be quite so pointed, but it was obvious that barb had hit close to home. Still, it was nothing compared to what came next. Xylo's expression much matched his own at noting that nobody had ever bothered to go to Namek. What the hell were they all doing? Well, in Toma's case, Ninjin, but that didn't excuse anything. Had they just decided "Oh well, Helix is dead, no reason to go now." and left it at that?
"You would have to get in line. I'm getting rather fed up with Earth's incredibly ludicrous lack of ability to take action until they have a barrel of monkeys literally thrown at their face." It may have been rude to refer to Saiyans as monkeys, but people referred to him as tree. He didn't know what the difference was, and honestly, at this point he didn't much care. Earth had failed to aid Bing, forcing the Guardian to abandon his planet, while Vi-Poi and Kaula did... whatever the hell they were doing. As far as he was aware, Kaula was still on Vegeta for some reason, despite being considered a traitor to the SSE. Mentally screaming in frustration, he barely registered Xylo's last few words.
"Yesss... I'm rather displeased with how things are going. Still, that... person...?" He paused, staring at the Wizard. Who WAS this? "This fellow is correct. We should press onwards." Moving back into position, he continued his flight, briefly wondering why they were headed to the Blood Pond. Was there something there? All he was aware of was the large bloody fountain, and a tree of some kind. He wasn't particularly interested in it, especially as there was likely no way he could take a snipping out of hell for his own garden.
He raised an eyebrow and nodded as Xylo asked about kids. "Yes. Made much the same way as Namekians make theirs, I believe. Currently, only two, Slither and Bastion, although I had a small orchard ready to grow before I left. Seeds rather than eggs, but much the same basic concept. Bastion's grown quickly. Only a month old, and already over 50,000." The pride in his voice was quite evident. His son was doing quite well for himself. "I hate having to leave him alone this quickly, but he's the equivalent of a full-grown adult already, and I don't want to lord over him, forcing him to live in my shadow. If there's any time I'm willing to risk leaving him on his own, it'd be right now. What about you? Any children?" Now that he thought about it, he wondered what Bastion was up to right about now. He would have to go check later, keep an eye on the boy. He hadn't encountered many Mazoku, but then again, he hadn't been to Namek yet. Although.... "I must confess, a thought occurred to me. Is there a current lord of the Mazoku Caste? Because there's a concept from Earth of a 'Wartime Leader', someone who guides a faction or nation through a particular battle. I don't know if you have a way to get out of Hell in time, and you have a valid claim... but I am considering leading the Mazoku in ensuring the SSE can never impose their will on Namek again, one way or another."

Xylo smiled brightly as Walker revealed how many children he currently had. It was always good to hear about family, especially when learning about new family. "Good to hear! From what you say about your child's Power, your children are doing better than my own, honestly. Even still, I'm proud of them. They're respectable warriors! If I had to guess, they could probably take down a squad of Saiyans if they worked together!" Of course, Xylo didn't mention any names, but if Walker asked he'd certainly tell him.
Suddenly, Walker brought up the subject of the Mazoku Caste. It was a subject that was quite interesting for the Tree to bring up. "Well, I was the unofficial leader of the Mazoku Caste for a time before my demise. I was trying to rendezvous with my people when I returned to Namek, but I wasn't able to track them down. I figured that assaulting the Capital would make them show themselves at some point, but ... Well ... You know the story on that."
He pointed his finger at Walker, a more serious tone creeping into his voice as he spoke. "You can try to claim the throne of Mazoku if you wish, just know this: You will have to prove yourself a true warrior; one who is absolutely the right choice for our people. Just because you have big muscles doesn't mean you can lead well! Beside that, I think you can certainly try to stake your claim ... Just know that you aren't the only one in the running."
They flew for only a few moments more, before finally reaching the edge of the Blood Pond. Xylo smirked as he turned to Walker. "Well, we're here! Excuse me one moment while I grab myself a quick snack..." Before Walker could get in another word, Xylo departed, the Wizard following closely behind...

As they kept flying, Walker listened to Xylo, rather interested to discover that the Namekian had children of his own, and that he sounded... rather proud of them, actually. Perhaps it was a family trait? Tuner had seemed similarly happy, and Xylo had been excited to find out he had a half-brother. If that was how this worked, anyway. He wasn't entirely sure how that functioned with his bizarre genetic structrue.
The dark Namekian also made an excellent point about his intent. He did not actually have muscles, per say, but the point was valid nonetheless. He would not be the only one, and he needed to decide whether or not he was doing this for the right reasons. It would be all to easy to simply claim the Mazoku Caste's Lordship merely for the power, to have an army at his back. Was Revenge really a good reason, however? Frowning slightly, he nodded. "This is true. I am merely considering it for the moment. I have yet to decide if it is a good choice or not. "
He shrugged slightly, as they arrived at the edge of the Blood Pond's clearing, a tree faintly visible down below. "I don't know what the situation will be when I return to life. Still, at the least, I would attempt to ensure that the SSE is no longer present on Namek, Earth, or any other planet but their own. They're a cancer, and the thought of them with the Dragon Balls is horrifying."
Nodding, he watched Xylo zip off, heading for the tree, and chuckled slightly. He certainly had an interesting brother, and he was glad to have met him, even if they might be of different factions. Still, that was a benefit of the afterlife. What point was there in fighting about it down here, when the living world was the battleground. Turning about, Walker rose a bit further upwards, and tried to sense Tuner's energy again. Where had he gone? It was like he was hiding himself or something....
