Appearance:
The Yardrats come in colors varying from pinks to blues to greens. Young yardrats have large, roundish egg-like heads, sometimes with small protrusions poking outwards, with small pupils and wide mouths. As Yardrats age, they develop pointed, elfish ears and wrinkled spotted skin. Their large, egglike heads become less wide and more tall. Their eyes become naturally squinted, and grow small whiskers poking out from just under their eyeballs.
Background:
The Yardrats are a very old race, proceeding humanity by hundreds of thousands of years. Thus, they have evolved to become very advanced intellectually and spiritually. Yardrats have been utilizing the power of Ki for billions of years, and thus have evolved specifically to suit this focus. Their most powerful gurus are legendary for being able to manipulate the fabric of even space and time itself, as well as for developing several unique and extremely useful Yardratian techniques. However, in general, as a race, they are not particularly powerful.
Yardrats initially stayed firmly rooted in their own planet, resulting in a form of cultural isolation that lasted for billions of years. They developed completely unique technology, but were eventually infiltrated by the overwhelming cultural force of the planet trade organization. Since then, they have obtained spacecraft, but due to their legendary capabilities as a coherent planet, have been left largely alone by the rest of the turbulent galaxy. Some Yardrats now venture out to trade on other planets, working as merchants, and even rarer Yardrats call other planets their home. However, as a whole, the Yardratian culture has remained equally static and mysterious since it's original conception.
Now, planet yardrat serves as a new hub for arcosian royalty, something that has caused the society to clam up and become slightly harsh towards outsiders.

Unique Characteristics:
Transformative Struggles: Yardrats first two transformations have limits on how many times and for how long they can be used per thread, and the third transformation requires a Dojo + School to be used.
Ki Latency: Having been developing the art of Ki for billions of years, Yardrats have a latent connection with the mystical life force and are able to tap into fuller natural reserves. This gives yardrats four Ki Points instead of three to work with. Special techniques still require all four of the users KP.
Natural Gurus: Becoming a master of unique techniques and knowledge is an essential part of yardratian maturation. Thus, while on planet yardrat, a yardrat gets 25% off on Dojos and Academies.
Huge Appetite: Yardratians are known for having massive appetites, even larger than that of saiyans.
Transformations:
Vitality Boost [x4]: A signature Yardrat technique, passed down to every young member of the community, this ability allows a Yardrat to power up for the duration of a single technique with a powerful white aura and slight bulking. This can be used twice per thread. At 70,000 PL, a Yardrat is able to use Vitality Boost three times per thread.
Vitality Boost 2 [x8]: When a Yardrat reaches amasses a significant amount of strength (20,000 PL), they become able to further their power, drawing forth an even more drastic amount of Ki by mastering their Vitality Boost technique. Their powerful white aura billows out freely. This can be used once per thread.
Guru [x10]: At 110,000 PL, a Yardrat may become a guru, a master of a specific Yardrat technique, and capable of incredible feats of strength that are usually rare among Yardrats. The user looses some of their natural wrinkles, and becomes taller, permanently bulking out and becoming more lean at the same time. This transformation is permanent, and requires 110,000 PL and a School.
Super Yardrat [x17]: A yardratian guru ascends even further, learning a technique available only to the elite wise sages of the Yardrat race. By reversing the original Vitality Boost technique, and internalizing the energy that would have been drawn out, they unlock a powerful new transformation. Their skin glows a glorious gold, and their aura disappears completely, being contained entirely inside of them. This technique requires 160,000 PL, the Guru transformation, and the Ki Supression technique. This technique can only be used for a limited amount of time, and is exhausting to use for prolonged periods.
Mastered Super Yardrat [x22]: The user of this technique has mastered the super Yardrat technique, and is no longer tired out by utilizing the golden wisdom of their race. Requires 250,000 PL.
Super Yardrat 2 [x43]: A form seen only twice in the 12 billion year history of the Yardrat race. The user taps into some unknown power, possibly unrelated to the original Super Yardrat form, and gains infinite wisdom as well as incredible power. The user's mind becomes linked with the collective Yardrat conscience, and they gain unmeasurable strength. Requires 490,000 PL.
