Afterimage [SU3] (36k) Through a sudden burst of speed you leave behind a controlled image of yourself to distract your opponent, you have complete control over it and the image is capable of preforming any feats you yourself are capable of, it cannot however actually harm an opponent, this technique allows you to completely dodge techniques beneath 300% of your PL. This technique uses 3 KP in KP Battles and cannot be charged.
[MP3] Ultra Ki Barrier: (42k) Through some proper Ki Manipulation, you've gained the ability to summon a barrier made of Ki! It charges at 100% per turn, and if the Barrier is broken by a technique, any bleed-through damage is halved (IE: If a Ki Barrier had 2,000 PL, and was broken by a 3,000 PL attack, the bleed-through damage would be 500 PL instead of 1,000).

CHAI'S TECHNIQUES (80k PL SLOT) BULKING [UT]: Mastering his ki flow, Chai is able to push his body to it's limits. Bulking and agumenting himself to ehnhance his offensive properties results in a decrease to his defense as well. This technique adds a +x1 to Chai's Offensive modifier, while a -x3 is subtracted from defense. It can be activated or deactivated only once per post.
(84k PL SLOT) TELEPATHY [UT]: The basic form of Telepathy allows Chai to communicate with those he is familiar with across the planet he's currently on via mental transmission, this can be blocked out by those who do not want to hear Chai if the effort to block them out is put forth. This passive technique uses 0 KP in a KP Battle
(88k PL SLOT) RAINBOW ROPE [N1]: Chai spreads his fingers apart, causing a thin rope of ki that glimmers with all the colors of the rainbow to form in his hand. Throwing the rainbow rope forwards, Chai ensnares his opponent in the ki whip to disorient them. This has no special effects, and charges at 33% intervals up to five times. Costs 1 KP.
(92k PL SLOT) SPANGLED STRING [V2]: Chai spreads his fingers apart, causing a thin rope of ki that glimmers with all the colors of the rainbow to form in his hand. Throwing the rainbow rope forwards, Chai ensnares his opponent in the ki whip to disorient them, and disrupt charges as well with a shocking STUN effect. The Spangled String charges at 33% intervals up to five times, and disrupts charges within 80% of the attack's power level. Costs 2 KP.
(96k PL SLOT) LOTUS LARIAT [UV3]: Chai spreads his fingers apart, causing a thin rope of ki that glimmers with all the colors of the rainbow to form in his hand. Throwing the rainbow rope forwards, Chai ensnares his opponent in the ki whip to disorient them, and disrupt charges as well with a shocking STUN effect. The Spangled String charges at 66% intervals up to five times, and disrupts charges within 80% of the attack's power level. Costs 3 KP.
(100k PL SLOT) KI GATHER [SU1]: Chai gathers his ki for a post, charging a weak mystery technique. An aura engulfs the goatman's body, causing his ki to build in preparation for an attack. He can use this skill to charge any individual skill of hers and build it stronger, before then channeling it into other skills. This technique allows Chai to charge any N1 attack without disclosing the name. Costs 1 KP upon charged tech use.
(104k PL SLOT) KI CHARGE [SU2]: Chai gathers his ki for a post, charging a weak mystery technique. An aura engulfs the goatman's body, causing his ki to build in preparation for an attack. He can use this skill to charge any individual skill of hers and build it stronger, before then channeling it into other skills. This technique allows Chai to charge any UP2/V2 attack without disclosing the name. Costs 2 KP upon charged tech use.
(108k PL SLOT) KI COLLECTION [SU3]: Chai gathers his ki for a post, charging a weak mystery technique. An aura engulfs the goatman's body, causing his ki to build in preparation for an attack. He can use this skill to charge any individual skill of hers and build it stronger, before then channeling it into other skills. This technique allows Chai to charge any MP3/UV3 attack without disclosing the name. Costs 3 KP upon charged tech use.
GUARDIA'S TECHNIQUES (60k PL SLOT) TRIPLE BLADES [UT2]: Chai grabs Guardia's hilt by the handle with his palms, pulling hard and splitting the hilt into three smaller blades. While dividing Guardia's power into thirds (33% per Guardia), Chai can command Guardia to attack thrice during a turn, since there are three of him now. He can also connect the two of the three blades together to create a literal double-edged sword to slice his opponents with, or let his allies wield a separate Guardia.
(66k PL SLOT) PARRY [SU1]: Guardia's blade is adjusted in such a way that it blocks an attack, negating the damage completely against his blade. The attack is diverted aside, not completely destroyed, so this won't protect other people or areas. Allows Guardia to dodge an attack up to 100% of his power level! Costs 1 KP.
(72k PL SLOT) DIVERT [SU2]: Guardia's blade is adjusted in such a way that it blocks an attack, negating the damage completely against his blade. The attack is diverted aside, not completely destroyed, so this won't protect other people or areas. Allows Guardia to dodge an attack up to 200% of his power level! Costs 2 KP.
(78k PL SLOT) RICOCHET [SU3]: Guardia's blade is adjusted in such a way that it blocks an attack, negating the damage completely against his blade. The attack is diverted aside, not completely destroyed, so this won't protect other people or areas. Allows Guardia to dodge an attack up to 300% of his power level! Costs 3 KP.

Refunding "Pip's Stare of Telepathic Proportions" (My stun tech) and getting my new Demon Technique
Oblivion [SPC]: Gathering up all his hidden hatred and anger (as well as a bit of demon magic), Pip can create a pip-sized ball of Blackish-Purplish energy above him, which with a motion of his arm can be launched forward and used to attack stuff. Charges at 100% to a maximum of 300%. Uses 3 KP and add's a x2 multiplier during its use.

(Same context as Ki fist strike)
[N1] Iron Monolith Style: Blood Moon Arch - 33% power Funnelling his key into his hands, he sweeps the blade allowing his Ki to feed into the blade tip with the swipe sending a large arch of Ki towards the opponent. (IE: 33% > 66% > 99% > 132% > 165% )
[UP2] Iron Monolith Style: Blood Moon Arch - 66% power Funnelling his key into his hands, he sweeps the blade allowing his Ki to feed into the blade tip with the swipe sending a large arch of Ki towards the opponent. charges at 66% per turn
[V2] Iron Monolith Style: Twin Moon Arch - Splitting Funnelling his key into his hands, he sweeps the blade allowing his Ki to feed into the blade tip with the swipe sending a large arch of Ki towards the opponent (Used by both blades) 33% power
[MP3] Iron Monolith Style: Blood Moon Arch - 100% power Funnelling his key into his hands, he sweeps the blade allowing his Ki to feed into the blade tip with the swipe sending a large arch of Ki towards the opponent. Power 100% per turn

Chai: All approved! Pip: Bio-Androids don't get a Demon Special. Not sure who alluded that you would, but it's simply not something on the table for Bios. You get an extra slot. Cado: Your first multiform can only split once 50/50. Your next can split 3 ways. Your third tier can split infinite ways. So change this to only splitting once with 50/50 and you're good to go. Levlidian: All approved. Ryder: Approved and the rules don't forbid that, somebeyoushouldaskpplthatknow

Post by Alaistair on Jun 12, 2017 22:52:19 GMT
I wish to be replacing my overly complicated Demon tech to match the current update to the Demon technique. [b]Devil's God's Wrath (Demon tech)[/b]: The energy within Alaistair has become dangerous and contorted from his repeated experiences of allies turning on him, his once more benevolent energy no longer able to be gifted. Bright orange energy envelops either Alaistair's entire arm, where his arm was if he lost it, or from his sword. It becomes an enormous blade that can dice up strong foes. It charges at 100% pl per turn, to a maximum of 300% and additionally increases the user's transformation modifier by +x5. This technique costs 3 KP to use. For instance, if a Hakaio/Destruction King (×18) is charging their demonic tech, they treat the mp3 pl charge as if they had a ×23 multiplier. This is in regards to update that happened here.

Post by Liang on Jun 13, 2017 20:35:09 GMT
Making many much needed adjustments to some out of date techs, bringing Liang up to a more modern and balanced standard. (I am so sorry.) Cash-ins:These techniques are no longer necessary, and in an attempt to de-clutter Liang's laundry list of techs i'd like to get rid of 'em. [N1] Breeze Splitting Claw: A rush attack where Liang focuses his energy then uses it to coat his hands in a hardened form of a kiai. Afterward, he will blast forward to his opponent and fiercely transition into a flurry of claw-handed blows intended to batter and damage his opponent's body. The combination strikes for 33% of his PL per charge. [UP2] Wind Slicing Claw: An upgraded form of the Breeze Splitting Claw, where the kiai coating his striking limbs is more intensely focused and compacted. This combination works in more rotating strikes using momentum as additional force, causing much more of an impact when the strikes land. Strikes for 66% of his PL per charge. [MP3] Whirlwind Carving Claw: The maximum potential of the Breeze Splitting Claw, the kiai coating his hands is now so intensely focused that the invisible wave of energy seems to generate its own focused current of wind. Anything near Liang's hands will feel this effect (hair near his hands will billow as if in a breeze, clothing and fabric flaps against it, grass will bend as if in a strong wind, etc. Yay flavor!) Liang will intently focus on more vulnerable points on his enemy's body, then blitz right for them and deliver these powerful, rotating, claw-handed blows in a fashion similar to a crazed dervish. Strikes with 100% of Liang's PL per charge. [N1] Tiger Tornado: A technique that refines and hardens a kiai around Liang's body, only using his legs instead of his arms. Winding up, he will unleash a devastating spinning kick after focusing his energy. The result is a ferocious current of battering wind following the physical blow. Charges at 33%. [UP2] Tiger Tsunami: A refined version of the Tiger Tornado, where Liang more accurately focuses the center point of the kiai to be released which in turn unleashes battering winds at a heightened velocity and force to ravage his opponent when the blow lands. 66% Charge. [MP3] Tiger Typhoon: The attack on a whole has developed to a perfected version. Liang now focuses the kiai around each individual muscle in both legs, striking with a dervish of spinning kicks to crush bones, tendons, and muscles. The whirlwind that follows is nothing short of a condensed storm that rips into the opponent, creating a vacuum of wind that not only batters them during and after the physical strikes but launches them away, ransacking them with breakneck wind currents. 100% charge. [N1] Prowling Gale: Another rush technique where Liang delivers a specifically-targeted flurry of blows to a single point on the opponent before blowing them away with a heavier strike, then finally finishing by launching a kiai ball at the opponent from his palm to strike them with focused energy. Strikes at 33% per charge. [V2] Hunting Gale : An upgrade to the Prowling Gale, this variation of the technique allows Liang to not only punish his opponent with the physical strikes, but he can also follow up with the kiai as a separate attack to follow the rush instead of needing to chain them together. This allows him to split the 33% charge into two attacks to fight two opponents at once, or to surprise one opponent by assaulting them twice. The split is always divided evenly, but in the case of a 33% charge, it is split to 16% and 17%, respectively. Charges at 33%. Essentially, this is a Splitting Variant. [UV3] Roaring Gale: The Hunting Gale's power is increased, charging at a rate of 66% while still allowing the attack to split between two opponents or batter one opponent twice. The split remains even; as an example, at a level one charge, it would be split 33% to the rush combination followed up by a 33% kiai. This is an upgraded Splitting Variant. [N1] Tiger's Nails: A difficult technique to manifest which often causes a physical reaction. The Claws in question are formed on energy, but sprouted from the knuckles on each hand. Unstable and unpredictable, a reduced output of power and stability is witnessed; the claws of energy are quite literally forced out by flowing energy through the entire construct of each arm, often causing a draw of blood on the summoning limbs. Nevertheless, this technique augments the physical power of physical ability often in a single rush of sharp, dangerous appendages of energy. 33% charge. [V2] Tiger's Daggers: An upgrade to the Tiger's Nails, in which the energy on each hand's claws are focused evenly allowing him to attack with both hands independently and cause harm. A splitting variant, where each hand is powered by half of the current charge level. This effectively means he can strike twice before the charge of the attack is dispersed. 33% charge. [UV3] Tiger's Blades: The endpoint of the variant tree of the Tiger's Nails, the energy within the constructs are more intensely focused and balanced which increases their power output to 66% per charge. In addition, they retain their splitting quality; he can still strike twice before the technique ends. [SU] Tiger Style: Wall: A new technique developed after fighting a grappler capable of dismantling energy, Liang drops into a new defensive fighting pose he's worked on personally to expand his style of martial arts. He then uses his ki to create a deterrence field directly around his body, cloaking him in defensive energy. A 33% PL Barrier. [SU2] Tiger Style: Sanctuary: An upgraded form of Tiger Style: Wall, Sanctuary redistributes the energy in a more potent and efficient manner, further tightening his defenses. The aura is stronger and much more prominent, and it offers a potent defensive option against harm. He resumes the same defensive posture, only tightened. A 66% PL Barrier. [N1] Aura Assault: The user focuses a small orb of energy at the tip of the middle finger and floods it with energy, charging before swiping their hand at the target. A trio of three energy orbs will launch from the charge point, arcing away from each other shortly before arcing back inwards and exploding in unison at the target area in a large explosion. [UP2] Mystic Aura Assault: This technique is a direct upgrade to Liang's Aura Assault. Now striking with 66% PL, the variation of this technique now summons a sphere to the tip of each finger, firing five orbs at once with the same arc-out and arc-in pattern before exploding in unison at the target area. The orbs are larger after expanding than they were previously, glowing a bit brighter to reflect the upgraded power. Result: refunded 16 Slots.
New:[N1] Tiger Style Martial Arts: Liang's personal martial arts system handed down to him by his beloved Master. By infusing his chi into his striking limbs, he is capable of causing incredible damage through the myriad of uncanny and explosively powerful maneuvers. Charges at 33% PL. [UP2] Wild Tiger Martial Arts: By focusing even more chi into his striking limbs and performing more advanced and more damaging maneuvers, Liang can boost the power of his chi-enhanced martial arts to charge at 66% of his PL. This technique is also capable of splitting strikes between multiple opponents. [MP3] Beast King Martial Arts: By keeping his body and chi in perfect harmony, Liang can maximize his flow of his energy to enable his chi-enhanced martial arts to strike at a staggering 100% PL per charge. Only the deadliest moves are reserved for this deepest level of his martial arts form. Like the previous technique, this one is also capable of splitting. [UP2] Mystic Bomber: An upgraded form of the Mystic Shot, the first projectile Liang ever learned. The orb grows in size, going moderately past a beach-ball before it is fired with one hand in a large explosion after concussing the opponent. Charges at 66%. [MP3] Mega Mystic Cannon: The fully mastered version of Mystic Shot. The orb now crackles with volatile chi electricity, swelling up to over twice the size of a beach ball and compressing an insane amount of destructive force into its construct. The explosion released on impact is massive. This technique charges at 100% PL. [SU] Rite of Postponement: With his newly heightened ki manipulation, Liang is capable of charging energy for first-tier attacks. When the time is right, he is capable of switching to his desired technique in a flash to release that energy. [SU2] Rite of Postponement: Like the previous technique, Liang can now not only charge first-tier attacks in this manner, but second-tier attacks as well. [SU3] Rite of Postponement: Like the previous two techniques, Liang can now disguise the charging of first, second, and third tier techniques, excluding Ultimates and Specials. Net Result: 8 Slots un-refunded. Renames/ReworksTechniques I thought sounded silly, or were app'd with an incorrect formula or where I desired other changes. [N1] Breeze Splitting Claw: Through intense chi manipulation, Liang is capable of manifesting a pair of ki claws from both of his hands to slash opponents. These can also be used as flavor weapons when he desires a more lethal option than the Satya Yuga staff. Charges at 33%. [UP2] Wind Slicing Claw: A direct improvement to the Breeze Splitting Claw, the claws that manifest spring into existence faster, are more durable, and hold a more refined edge. With a claw on each hand, this technique is capable of splitting but only once. Charges at 66% PL. [MP3] Whirlwind Carving Claw: The maximized form of Breeze Splitting Claw, the edges are honed to a razor's bite, the claws spring forth instantaneously, and they are extremely durable. Again, with a claw on each hand this technique is capable of splitting but only once. Charges at 100% PL. [V2] Stone Slicing Claw: In this variant that charges at 33% PL, the blades of the claws become more narrow and end in sharper points while the rest of the constructs remain more fragile. This is a Piercing Variant, allowing the claws to strike simultaneously (no Splitting) to combine their new shape in order to shred through the PL of barriers and defenses by half. [UV3] Mountain Carving Claw: The maximized variant of Stone Slicing Claw, the constructs become durable, the blades elongate and taper off to a narrow, ultra-sharp point, and the claws strike together at 66% PL per charge (again, no Splitting). This is a Piercing Variant like the one before it, ignoring half of a barrier's PL. [N1] Soul Parry: With his new heightened control of chi thanks to his Third Eye mutation, Liang is capable of shelling his body within a field of hardened energy. This is a Barrier that charges at 33%, and any bleed-through damage is halved. [UP2] Soul Deflect: With training, the thickness of the chi woven into Soul Parry is skyrocketed. This increased output allows it to charge at 66% PL, and as a Barrier, any bleed-through damage is halved. [MP3] Soul Force: With mastery comes maximized output and not an ounce of wasted energy. Soul Force charges at 100% PL, and as a Barrier, is capable of halving any damage that bleeds through it. Net Result: 8 slots un-refunded.
Total Net Change: None. 16 Slots refunded, then 16 slots used. Note: The below techs of the Soul Ember tree were applied for and approved what I believe to be incorrectly. I found the DoT formula, and these seemed to be off so i'm correcting them. [N1] Soul Ember: Liang's connection to his Third Eye has given way to a heightened mastery of chi manipulation. He can form an ember of ''raw chi'', that is, a spiritual construct with no hardened shape or form. Often forming at the tip of a finger, a knuckle, or in his palm, he can supplement his strikes with this ember, causing 33% damage on contact. [V2] Soul Flame: The Soul Flame is the heightened form of Soul Ember, where its usage takes a drastic turn. Liang can now coat an entire hand or foot in the flame, and after striking an opponent he leaves the impact zone alight with the raw chi, causing 33% PL damage per charge, dealt over the course of three turns. (Example: Turn 1 11%, Turn 2 11%, Turn 3 11%) [UV3] Soul Wildfire: Now able to manifest the flame as a coating to his entire body, he transfers all of it in one strike at the opponent, even capable of lashing it off of his body completely for a strike with far extended range. The spiritual flame will engulf the struck enemy, causing 66% damage per charge over three turns. (Example: Turn 1 22%, Turn 2 22%, Turn 3 22%) No Change. These three were kept, only corrected.
I apologize to anyone who has to look over this huge mess. I hope this is okay; a lot of Liang's techs listed incorrect charge stats, so I re-balanced a huge chunk of his techniques with correct stats.

Alaistair Wacky PL Sharing Special from a super long time ago has been swapped for the newly updated Demon Special. Enjoy! Takeshii Looking good except for that splitting variant. Splitting only applies to UP2's and MP3's, so you'll have to edit the V2 into one of those two when you have time. Liang alright, let's take a crack at this wall shall we? All tech refunds approved thanks to their outdated nature. All new techs approved EXCEPT for [SU3] Rite of Postponement. It cannot charge Specials or Ultimates, only MP3 and UV3's. Fix that when you can and I'll let you through.
