Raisu stood there, gathering his energy. It was not like the gathering he did when he tried the super Saiyan transformation and failed. No, this kind of ki gathering was more practical in nature. Here, he was not grasping at straws. Raisu was gathering his ki with the idea of using it for attacks. Of course, he could simply charge the attack he was hoping to use, but this was better. More flexible. He didn't have to commit to any one attack. Which made him even more dangerous in a fight. His foes might never know what he's going to do next.
Raisu could feel the ki flow around him, like some kind of field of energy. But he could improve it. Raisu closed his eyes and focused, imagining the field of energy in his mind, himself at the center. Yes, he could see it now. There were ways to improve it, make it more reliable. He breathed out slightly as he adjusted the energy inside him. That would do nicely, he thought to himself. Still, there was a pressure building in his chest. It was not painful, like when he tried to ascend to Super Saiyan, but still it was uncomforatable. Perhaps it was just a side effect of this being his first time doing something like this. Or maybe he had finally torn his body apart and torn his spitit asunder as well. Still, Raisu had succeeded in what he had set out to do today. He'd begun learning how to channel his ki for those kinds of purposes. Still, he could stand to improve them.
For now, Raisu would content himself to walk among the bamboo. He'd had so many interesting encounters among the bamboo. Perhaps he'd have another? Come to think of it, he'd met lots of interesting people lately. People like Treylech and Ichiba who he'd been training. Hell, Cornatto too, now that he thought about it. This world was full of interesting people.
