After his agreement with Tomare, Ichi realized he needed help he was nowhere near strong enough to face such a foe, however he knew someone that was. South capitol was the second city Ichiba had seen since his departure from his homeland. It still was amazing seeing such large buildings shiny in the sunlight, but Ichi had no time to be awed he had to find Raisu! He had to know the secrets of the universe so instead of doing this the normal sane way he decided to summon Raisu another way.He flew towards South Capitol in a hurry his aura sparking around him as he yelled,"RAISU!!! MR.RAISU!!! I NEED YOU" Well maybe Raisu would hear him, but in such a big city Ichiba thought there was no way someone could even perceiving what he was saying so he took another approach. His black aura sparked around him in the air a small black dot visible even from the ground in front of the sun. Someone as strong as Raisu could definitely know he was here....right? Maybe not he had to try another way just in case. In the light of the sun Ichiba decided it was a good idea to charge a big ball of ki. Ichiba placed his hands above him as he focused all of his energy into one ball of ki. A small pulsating ball formed inside his hands however that wasn't enough; he focused harder and began expanding the ball by pouring more ki into it. Focus and draw out your inner power, focus....the small black ball of ki began expanding pulsating rapidly. Soon it became bigger than Ichiba's head and continued expanding....maybe he poured to much ki into however now wasn't the time. There was no way Raisu couldn't notice this.

(Thread PL: 165,230. Heavy weights on. Weighted PL: 41,307)
Raisu was sat on the sand, meditating as he lounged in the sun. If one could call it mediation, that was it. It was a simple mindfullness of breathing exercise, nothing fancy. But it was calming, and Raisu needed all the calming he could get these days. In and out his breathes went, one by one. He was so incredibly aware of his own breathing, it was as if he was alone in the world. Pure peace. That was a feeling Raisu didn't get much of these.
But of course, nothing ever lasts. Raisu's face twitched as he felt a familiar ki signature rising. Ichiba? The little halfblood he'd encountered in the north? Raisu had said Ichiba could always come find him if he needed someone. But so soon? Damn, he thought, what kind of trouble was this kid in? Raisu pulled himself to his feet, brushing the sand from his faded, grey jeans. He hiked them up; They had stated to slouch, because of his lack of belt. All he was wearing was his jeans, a black tanktop, and his weights. Quickly crossing into his house, he retrieved a belt and ran it through his jeans. No time to waste, he thought as he took off into the air, even leaving behend his boots.
Raisu steered himself towards the South Capitol. What was Ichi doing there? By Kami, he thought, what was this kid doing? Raisu finally approached the city, wind whipping at his hair. He was close; Ichiba's ki was acting like a beacon, drawing him in. And there he was: the little white haired half-Saiyan. He didn't seem to be in danger. What was his game here? Raisu flew closer, shouting across the sky to him.
"Ichiba? What do you need?"

Raisu in a matter of minutes was there, dang that was fast "Mr.RAISU! TRAIN ME TO BECOME STRONGER!" Hmmm....Ichiba thought for a quick second maybe he should add more and tell Raisu the whole story about the crazy monster saiyaness that would tell him the secrets of the world! "This weird, mountain monster saiyan woman....The Mystic Tomare? Said she would tell me where babies come from if I beat her in a fight!" The ball of ki in his hands had dissipated by now as he flew slowly towards Raisu. "You will help me right?" Ichiba questioned as he pouted slightly, if he couldn't beat Tomare he wouldn't know the secrets of the world, but more than that he wouldn't be able to prove himself to be a real saiyan. He didn't want to be a silly little half-saiyan with a bad tail forever he needed to become strong strong like Raisu or Tomare maybe even stronger. His hair swayed in the air as he neared Raisu his tail wiggled in anticipation of Raisu's answer.

Raisu looked at Ichiba, a blank look on his face. So this is what he needed? It was so... He didn’t want to call it stupid, but it certainly was not what he was expecting. To be a kid, thought Raisu. At least he found something to keep him busy. And Tomare? How was she involved? How had they met? Raisu blushed at the thought of the Saiyaness. Now that had been an interesting encounter.
"I see..."
Raisu sighed. Okay, he thought, how to answer. He looked at Ichiba through squinted eyebrows, his brow crinkled. Did he disapprove? Perhaps. But it wasn't his place to judge. The bigger question was whether or not he was going to be an accessory to this...
"Alright, I'll train you. But! We're going to do this the proper way."

The proper way eh, sounds interesting! Maybe it has to do with lots and lots of eating thought Ichiba as Raisu accepted his inquiry. Hopefully Raisu would make him much strong, but just the thought of "proper training" man Ichi squirm and tingle with anxiousness. He had been having so much fun since he left his town everything in the outside world was so interesting and exciting that he never wanted to leave. This people were so strong, so cool maybe even Ichi could be like that one day. Maybe he could even get a big sword too ah the world was so amazing. But he had more important matters to take care of beating the old saiyaness that said he was to young. Ichiba put on his serious face, his face became stern yet it looked hilarious at the same time. He pointed towards Raisu as he spoke, "Alright then! Im going to train till Im strong enough to take over the world!!" Ichiba then imitated a wolf by roaring up at the sky. He started swaying back and forth bouncing about "Let's go!"

Raisu nodded. He could train Ichiba. It wouldn't be hard. The boy already seemed to have some background in fighting, and definitely in ki manipulation. That would make things much easier. And besides, what Raisu had in mind was simple enough. It would just be some basic exercises and some sparring. Maybe he could teach him a few tricks as well.
"Alright then, follow me. We're gonna do this on the ground then."
Raisu burst through the air, rushing out of the city, descending as he went. He flew for a short time, his eyes on the ground, looking for a decent spot to begin. And there it was: a nice flat, clear chunk of land. It looked nice, close to the road too. There was even a tree nearby if they needed the shade. Raisu landed and waited for Ichiba. Knowing the little halfblood, he probably was hot on his trail.

Raisu had taken off out of the city and Ichiba....wasn't paying attention. However he caught a glimpse of where Raisu had went and trailed behind him at full speed. When outside of the city Ichiba caught a glimpse of someone descending and Ichiba smirked as he thought about his entrance. He flew close to the place Raisu had landed onto, but right before he reached it he stopped flying and preformed a flip in the air. One front flip, two flips, three flips and then finally he touched down onto the ground unscathed! He then would turn around to see Raisu, however not for long as the next thing he would see would be the ground below him, he had tripped on the air itself.

Raisu watched as Ichi collapsed on the ground in front of him. Well that happened, he thought. Maybe the kid was just clumsy. Not that it was a bad thing. Some people just were. But usually even they didn't trip out of nowhere. Raisu looked at the kid intently. Maybe it was good that he was down there. Saved him the trouble in a moment.
"You okay? If you are, just start doing push-ups. That's the first thing we're gonna do. Here," he said as he took a knee and began to do his own push-ups, "I'll even do 'em too."
Raisu's arms pumped up and down, his body going through the motions of an exercise it had done thousands of times before.
"See, the basics are important. They make up the center of any good workout, even if they're boring. Never forget your essentials, Ichi."

Ichi pulled himself up slightly placing both of his hands towards either side of himself. "The basics huh I can do the basics backwards forwards sideways and even upside down" he said as he began pushing up and down in a repetitive motion. He then continued to yell out every time he had done a set "1....2.....(etc)" He then thought it was about time he got crazy, he moved his left foot upwards slightly as his placed it on his right ankle. He continued doing push-ups like this only this time his notifications came a lot slower. After sometime however around the third set Ichiba began breathing harder however he had not given up! He kicked his foot against the ground launching himself up slightly as he broke into a handstand and pushing himself up and down in that position.

Raisu sighed. Those weren't the basics. Well, they were, but not the kind he'd intended for him to do. What should he have expected? Ichiba was a kid. Of course he was going to stray from the path. That's just what kids did. But training was about repetition as well.
"Hey, Ichi," Raisu said between push-ups, "I appreciate that you're trying new exercises, but part of this training is settling into a routine. See, routines build self-discipline, and that's an important part of fighting, you dig?"
And that was enough push-ups for now, Raisu decided. It was time for them to move onto something else, something just as basic, but just as important. Raisu dropped to the ground and rolled over on his back, beginning his crunches.
"Alright, Ichiba, move on. Let's start doing some crunches. They're good for your abs, but be careful: if you do 'em wrong, you might hurt your back."

Crunches eh, Ichiba was amazing at those. He smirked lightly as he dropped backwards onto his feet then onto his back his pure hair being carried along. "Crunches are my speciality" Ichi said arrogantly as he began to put his hands behind his head. He pulled himself up towards his knees once, twice, several times as he began to get tired. On his downward arch he moved his hands down to his lower body, the waist exactly. He pulled off his shirt and jacket now in nothing, but his jeans. Sweat dripped down his body as he continued doing his set off crunches as he, every so often, did a turning crunch. In between sets he spoke panting slightly,"This is to easy...give me a real challenge!"

Raisu smirked. A real challenge? Raisu had just the thing in mind. But he'd get to that in a moment. First, he had to finish his own set of crunches. He might be training Ichiba, but he had to stay true to his own routine. He'd be a hypocrite if he didn't.
As he finished, Raisu sat up. His hands went to his ankles and began to unfasten his weights. They weren't doing him much good anymore. It was time to pass them on. And besides: Ichiba had asked for a real challenge. Raisu stood, undoing the weights at his wrists now. He held all four bands in his hands now.
"Alright, Ichi. You want a real challenge? Let's see how you handle these, bud."
Raisu crossed to Ichiba and stood in front of him. He held the weights high in the air and let them drop. They smashed into the ground, tossing dirt up around them. Raisu remembered the first time he had worn them. It had been one of the worst experiences of his life. It had been so painful; He'd moved like a turtle. But he'd gotten used to them. Hopefully he wasn't going to push the kid too hard. But it would put hair on his chest.
"Put those on. And take good care of them. They're a gift, from me to you."
Just like the farmer Sam had given them to him. Maybe Raisu should go back and see Sam and his family...
PL is now unweighted. Sitting at 165,230. Handing these weights over to Ichiba, I'll put this in my shop thread shortly.

As the weights Raisu was wearing blobbed onto the ground, it began to shake slightly under Ichiba's feet causing him to lose headway on his crunch. He lay on the ground just starring at them....was he really supposed to pick those up! His crimson eyes dilated slightly however he wasn't going to take up a challenge. He got himself off the ground, sweat dripping down his body as he moved his hands towards the weighted wristbands hooking his hand around them. They wouldn't budge and inch so Ichi decided to put more effort into it as he dug his feet into the ground slightly, the lifted alright, but only an inch off the ground. This was going to be difficult Ichiba thought as he decided to take a different approach he moved his wrist into the wristbands 'a bit of a loose fit' however they were able to hold tight as he moved his arms across the ground. His legs and wrists started to ache slightly as the weights slid across the ground less than an inch. 'Welp' he carefully attempted to slid the ankle weights over his shoes and as they hit his ankle he thought 'what now?'. The weights then slammed downwards towards Ichiba's foot crushing the base of his foot. "OWWWWW Holy!" that was going to leave a mark. He then moved his arms towards his feet, slowly but surely the weights dragged across the ground tapping against the tip of his feet. He dug his feet even deeper in the ground as his hands lifted slightly off the ground. Ohhh everything hurt like crazy, his wrists were on fire and his foot twitching in pain 'push through it' he thought to himself as he managed to move the ankle weights around his ankle. Ichiba then stayed in this position for a moment building up his strength as he quickly lunched backwards his waist burned, it screamed in pain as he somehow managed to stand upright his arms dangling down by his side in pain. Then he decided to try and move towards Raisu however he was stuck in the ground. Dagnabbit "A little help" he asked Raisu as he stood several inches into the ground.

Raisu had to laugh, just a bit. It almost reminded him of his first time wearing the weights. Though there was a big difference between the two of them. Raisu was an adult, at least biologically, for one. Ichiba was a child, but a half-saiyan one. Whatever his other half was, he certainly had an inner strength to him. Raisu thought he'd do just fine in time.
"How do they feel?" Raisu asked as he tried to help Ichiba free himself. This kid was an interesting one, that was for sure. Raisu was sure that it would work out just fine.
"It might hurt, but trust me: they work. You all set to go? Because I'm going to show you an interesting trick for fighting Saiyans."

As Raisu helped him out of ditch. Dang everything hurt a lot Ichiba began to ponder if he had taken on to much of a challenge however he realized that challenges are what make you stronger. "Yeah I think I'm fine" this was quiet obviously a lie however he attempted to play it off by giving Raisu a forced smile his arms still dangling by his side as his feet twitched a little from the sheer weight. Sweat dripped down Ichiba's body as he heard Raisu speak; he knew exactly what he was talking about and Tomare had told him about it. Ichiba decided to test out Tomare's theory someone as strong as Raisu must have already trained his tail right. Ichiba attempted to leap slightly in the air lunching at Raisu's tail. His excitement overpowered his body making it the only thing on his mind as he pulled his hands upwards with all his strength not realized the intense pain his whole body was going through. Everything burned and hurt however Ichiba ignored them all for his goal as his hands raised in front of his face in order to come into contact with Raisu's tail. He failed plummeting towards the ground due to the sheer weight of his entire body, however his fingers neared Raisu's tail most likely skimming it if he hadn't moved it. Heavy weights were fairly punishing, they even take the fun out of things; Ichiba pouted in his mind.
