Articho stood in front of a tall tree, his hands poised and ready to strike. He took a deep breath before quickly striking against the side of the tree with his right hand. His gloved fist smashed against the wood, making a loud crack ring out into the air. The tree broke along a line nearly even with his arm and began falling over. The hybrid reached down and gripped the base of the tree, tossing it into the air before jumping after it. He jabbed at the base of the tree with short, precise strikes. After a moment, the tree shattered into multiple wooden logs, which began falling back to Earth. Articho dashed around, grabbing each log and stacking it neatly next to his fire pit. It was about that time that he needed to refresh his supply of logs and he figured he might as well get some speed and precision training in. Strength only got him so far. After the last log clacked into place, Articho landed back on the ground and brushed his hands together. The stack towered over him, just like the first one had when he had made it. Back when he was still naive and his only goal was to beat his father. The hybrid looked around at the clearing. It hadn't changed much since Ninjin had first brought him here. It didn't reflect its sole inhabitant as much as it did before. It was still fresh, mostly unchanged, and ignorant of the world around him. Articho, while still young, had seen a lot for his age and grown with each encounter, constantly changing and learning new things about the world. It was certainly a strange place to live. Articho stomped one foot on the ground next to the wood pile. A few logs toppled off and he caught them before tossing them into the fire pit. The logs clacked against each other as they settled into the pit and the hybrid blasted the wood, quickly setting it ablaze. He sat down next to his fire and relaxed. It had been a while since he visited his little clearing and he found it was nice to be back. No one to bother him and nothing to ruin his moment of peace. Etoru

Etoru was flying across the sky. He was soaring nice and high looking for more rukus to cause. He wanted to day to be a fun day. Hopefully scare a few civilians. Or maybe mess with nature it's self! Bottom line is, he needed to find some fun! Fast! He loved irritating people, especially when it was warriors he was irritating. Usually it was the warriors, considering the civilians were too scared to really talk back to Etoru. Some however did talk back, to blind in their selfish pride to be pushed around by a mere child. But Etoru was no mere child. So...we all know how that ended up for those few unlucky souls. Although, they probably would have ended up dead even if they didn't talk back to Etoru. As Etoru was flying, he sensed a powerlevel near by. It was extremely high as well. Etoru grinned. This was gonna be fun. As he flew, he saw a bunch of trees near by. There he saw a warrior sitting by a fire. Etoru had a feeling this was going to end up like the battle with Conan. Ah...wild fires...Etoru grinned maniacally.
Etoru was in his space like armor/trench coat and cape. He grinned at the warrior below him, although it was sort of hard to tell who it was. Etoru squinted and soon realized that it was that selfish fool, Articho. He remembered the battle at Satan City where he decided to take on Mayze alone, even though he needed all the help he could get. Etoru floated in the air staring at him with his arms crossed. The child had a smug look on his face. "Well well well...if it isn't Articho..." If Articho could sense, he should be able to feel a dark presence stirring up in Etoru. It was pretty obvious at this point as well because Etoru flashed a dark sinister purple aura. "I don't think being alone right now is the best option for you ya know..." Etoru decided to rile him up by doing something drastic. Etoru grinned as he pointed his palm to a tree. He fired two ki blasts on his left and right to make it harder for Articho to block in case he had any ideas of stopping him. IF Etoru was successful, his blast(s) would start causing a few trees to catch fire. Soon the fire would spread, causing intense lighting between the two warrios. "Reminds me of the battle with Conan..." Etoru mumbled to himself finding it rather amusing.

An energy signature flashed through Articho's senses, prompting him to look up from his fire and in the direction of the power level. It felt familiar to him, a lot like Etoru if he thought about it hard enough. Yet, it felt...different. Sinister. He frowned as he stood up and adjusted his gloves. He felt like a fight was coming on, but he had the sinking feeling it was one he wouldn't want to play a part in. A spot in the distance, the source of the energy, steadily grew closer until the hybrid saw that it was indeed Etoru. Though there was something very different about him. He was wearing some sort of odd trench coat and cape outfit, nothing that seemed like it was from Earth and the young boy wore a cocky grin on his face. Articho squinted in confusion at Etoru. Something was very off about the kid. He didn't remember Etoru ever acting like this before. What had changed?
"It is indeed me," he agreed, staring unflinchingly as a dark purple aura exploded around Etoru. "Being alone is kinda nice. I get some peace and quiet and no one usually comes to bother me. I guess that's over." His jaw tightened in alarm and anger as the boy shot ki blasts at two trees in the clearing. This was his spot and he wasn't about to let anyone damage it. The blasts struck the trees and fire caught on both of them. With a mighty shout, Articho let energy explode off of his body and push the wind around him in a powerful gust. The fires went out as quickly as they started, including his own fire pit fire. "I was enjoying that, you know," the hybrid commented. "What's got your tighty whiteys in a twist? Grandpa skip out on dessert for you or something?"

Etoru smirked when Articho began to speak. This one was...different. He wasn't like all the other goodie goodies! All "Oh my gooosh! Etoru what happened to youuu! Blaaah!" Knowing Articho's annoying attitude, Etoru assumed this was going to be a blast! Etoru's sinister grin grew even more when he claimed that no one USUALLY bothers him. "A comedian huh?" Etoru laughed a bit. "Funny..." Articho was quick to react at the ki blasts. Once the fires started, he let out a gust of wind causing the flames to extinguish. Etoru's grin faded. Darn...well that was a bummer. He wanted to see a fire! It always made these battles look more intense! Oh well. Articho then had more comments up his sleeve. Etoru's grin faded as he was reminded of the word grandpa. It made him think of his uncle, Sheenu, who he assumed was his grandfather for his whole life now. Until a few months ago of course. Etoru's good side slipped out from that a bit, but just barley. He snapped out of it and grinned. "You're all talk Articho...too much talk. Not enough fight..."
Etoru slowly descended to the ground with his arms crossed. As he descended he began to talk. "Just know I'm not the same push over you met back at Satan City..." His feet caused a crunching sound as it crushed the grass below him. The boy glared at the elder warrior as he stood there, in the cool night air. His hair was being swept along with the wing, as well as his cape. Etoru put his fists on each side of his waist as he prepared to charge up. Etoru's hair began to rise as he let out a mighty roar. A purple, sinister, aura that was once white, flared as he charged up. The aura caused the ground to crack a bit. Etoru grinned as he knew he surpassed him right now. That is if he wasn't holding back of course. "Let's start then...?" Etoru smirked.

Articho smirked arrogantly at the boy. "You think so?" he asked. "I've been working on the act a bit. I'm planning to pursue stand up comedy." The hybrid's eyes narrowed as he cracked his knuckles. The kid was certainly different. A lot snarkier and mean than he remembered, as well as seeming to have penchant for arson. He wondered what had made the little boy start acting this way and why it was so different from his usual demeanor. Eight year olds don't usually change from innocent and good to psychotic and evil without something either mind controlling or possessing them. "I'm sure you'll find my bark worse than my bite, kiddo," the hybrid continued as he rolled his shoulders, loosening them up.
"We were fighting giant apes, kid," Articho retorted, rolling his eyes. "Why would I think you're a pushover?" He dropped into a fighting stance as his aura appeared around him. He blinked in surprise as Etoru's power level rose, but grinned soon after. "Oh-ho! Putting on the big boy trousers, huh? I knew you had it in you, Etoru." Articho kept his grin up, though inwardly, he was grimacing. Etoru was stronger than him and most likely could go Super Saiyan. He would have to play it smart if he wanted to win and, if it came down to it, he would transform and put Etoru down before the younger hybrid could transform as well.
