Alaistair nodded in response to the Queen, noting the slight stammering of the words she spoke. She took it well, but, it seemed he did strike a nerve. Maybe not strongly, but it had its effects and that's all Alaistair needed. The Queen was strong willed and intelligent, but the idea that she didn't have the best of eyes made it apparent for Alaistair to start planning ahead.
"I think we're good here, lads," Alaistair messaged Xylo and Kizuki, "I've gotten an understanding of whom the Queen of these people are... She's proud, and a strong leader. Perhaps misguided a bit by her lack of a council to help her plan, but a good leader. I must admit, we won't be able to take over the empire with her around. For the most part, we will need to move elsewhere. We'll take a look at planets in between the AE and the SSE territories and see what we can do there."
