To north of West City, there was a small town that was actually a suburb- Ginger Town. This one even if it was just a suburb, its size was rather modest. Palaces, houses and shops could be found in abundance without talking about the occupied streets and citizens. It was a lively day, the sky was as clear as pure springwater, only a few clouds could be seen and the wind blew lightly through the mountains nearby the city.
Above the palaces it seemed like there was some kind of monkey jumping and running, but it was no creature and he was not jumping around. Who was close enough could see that it was a humanoid figure and was not jumping from a palace to another but flying. He seemed to be inspecing the town and its inhabitants, also he looked like a human but he wasn't. It could have been clear by his humanoid appearance, but he also had typical traits of a certain alien species. His black eyes and hair, the latter one being spiky- swinging by the wind. His muscular body was covered by a blue dogi.
The man was Cornatto, by first sight he looked like as if he was just chilling but he was simply inspecting the city.. not really in the most civil way though. The Saiyan suddenly landed on a palace, taking a careful look at his surroundings before jumping off the palace, landing in the middle of a street, almost causing a crash between cars as he forced two drivers to switch ways due to his sudden appearance and both almost landing a hit to each other's car. But Cornatto just walked to the sidewalk as if nothing just happened, while most of the civilians looked at him curiously- others looked wry and others were more afraid than intimidated. Did I do something wrong? - he kept wondering, but he didn't think so- in his opinion, but probably the others' opinions were quite different.

“Do you really think that this guy could be here somewhere?” The blond human gazed down towards his red feline brother. They were trotting along a path in the Western regions. This path evidently lead to a city called ‘Ginger Town’. Supposedly, there was a guy there who could lead them in the right direction in terms of finding one of the four scrolls that were apart of Ruby’s Salvation. Their last adventure was on the complete opposite side of the globe, all the way over in the Eastern Lands. There, they had impersonated famous Rock Stars while in search of one of the scrolls. They had met up with one of their good friends, the red-headed hybrid, Raisu. He was also kind of ‘dragged’ alongside them as they journeyed into their fake ‘Musician’ adventure. Ultimately, they ended up not finding anything out about Ruby’s Salvation. The only real good thing that came out of it was that Chaz got some new weapons. A pair of knuckle-dusters with blades trailing off the ends. They had come to be a big part of Chaz’s fighting style.
After saying farewell to their good hybrid friend, they set off. The Delicious Duo, not wanting to take a break without at least one good lead, wound up in the North. After experiencing some very harsh weather conditions, and in Chaz’s opinion, delectable ice-cream dishes, they found what they were looking for. They had caught word of some famous chef stationed in the West. He supposedly had a scroll, or at the very least, knew where one was. The fact that he could point Chaz and Ibby in the right direction was good enough for them.
“Yes. The old man said he was in the Western Region somewhere.”
Upon entering the city, the Delicious Duo was quite surprised to see how lively the city was. Civilians were hustling and bustling about. Children were running through the streets playing whatever type of outdoor activity that was popular at the time. The rumors were wrong about this place. Chaz and Ibby had heard speculations and gossip about Ginger Town. How it was a rundown place with barely anyone living there. How it was so ‘unlively’. Quite the opposite sight. Chaz and Ibby were expecting a ghost-town, but they got something much, much better. The more people, the higher the chance they’d have at finding this so-called ‘famous cook’. With the amount of citizens waltzing about, at least ONE of them had to know something about this guy.
A shadow had crossed the ground, soaring overhead. Chaz and Ibby were able to catch sight of it. It wasn’t anything like a birds, no. It was much, much bigger than any type of avifauna. The shadow was too small for any type of air-craft, though. What the hell was it? When they turned their eyes upwards to catch sight of whatever was flying through the air, they saw that it wasn’t any air-craft. It wasn’t a bird, either. It was a person! This guy was flying like no tomorrow. He looked to be pretty skilled at it, too. This person seemed to be scouring the city, looking for something. Or someone. It was a little suspicious, but hey. You should never judge a book by it’s cover!
Chaz held his arms out, looking up at the sky. “Alright bud, lift me up! I wanna go talk to this guy!” A puzzled look crossed the red felines face. “Why…?” “Because this guy can fly! Look at him! He obviously has some control over ki. Enough to fly around! Plus, he might know somethin’ about this chef guy.” Ibby levitated into the air, wrapping his little paws around Chaz’s arms. “Are you sure… I mean, you are sca-” “Don’t talk about that! Just do it! I won’t look down!” Ibby lifted Chaz into the air. Chaz closed his eyes shut, beads of sweat already starting to form on his face. He almost immediately felt pee rush down to his nether regions. He really, really didn’t want to do this. His eyelids were clamped shut, and he began snapping his fingers. That was one way he was able to keep his mind off of things. If he was ever in any uncomfortable situation, or in a lot of pain, closing his eyes and snapping his fingers helped relieve it. Even if only a little.
Ibby began flying towards the man, holding Chaz tightly in his arms. “Don’t look down.. don’t look down… don’t look down..!” Chaz opened one of his eyes slightly, staring down at the ground. He slammed it shut once again, trying to concentrate on not totally peeing himself. “Oh my kami!! Just get this guy’s attention and put me down!!!” “Hey! Hey, sir? Could we talk to you for a minute? Y’know.. on the ground?!”

The Saiyan was flying around once again while looking around, the city was certainly interesting- mostly because Cornatto always lived in the forest and was curious about cities. Though he didn't feel it was a fitting place for him, he thought there was not much to do in such a place. Everything seemed dull to him, buildings could be interesting to admire but they were nothing so unique. Streets were exactly the same, it wasn't really his place.
It seemed to be an ordinary day, until Cornatto took note of the two individuals- whose attitude was.. funny. The Saiyan looked at the Human that was being lifted by the animal. He was so confused that he couldn't help but raise a brow. "What the.." - He muttered, a puzzled expression could be seen on his face. He noticed that the Human didn't seem to enjoy his situation, for some reason that was unknown to Cornatto. The two didn't seem to be any real danger, or at least that's what the Saiyan thought. Cornatto decided to descend and stand on the ground, glancing at them curiously. "Uhm.. do we know each other?" - he asked, keeping his gaze at them.
