[Thread PL: 10,550] After taking in the scenery on Earth, Polar had decided it was time to get some help finding his way around here. The problem was, who could help him? He was an alien and, as far as he could tell, this planet was highly primitive. He wouldn't be surprised if they'd never seen an alien in their days. Therefore, he couldn't just waltz into the city like he owned it. He needed a plan.
He looked up as he felt water hit his blue jewel and stream down his face. Clouds were gathering, and he could he thunder roaring in the distance. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to fly further.
Landing in a farmland, he looked in the distance. On the horizon he could see bright lights and towering buildings; a city. That might be a good place to start.
"HEY!" shouted a man with a thick country accent. "No trespassin' here. I suggest you turn on back where ya came from!"
Polar turned to see a man in a hooded poncho waving around a shotgun. He looked ready to use it was well. It seemed he was the owner of this land, and when he saw Polar's face, his eyes widened.
"Wha...what the hell are you?"
There was no response from Polar, who was trying to figure out what the farmer was doing, exactly. Obviously, as an alien, he was unfamiliar with Earth rifles, but he definitely recognized it was weaponry similarly used by Taiga's weaker troops. Polar merely crossed his arms.
"NOT ONE MORE MOVE!"
Unphased, Polar took a step forward and the farmer blasted the weapon. It was not as effective as he hoped, however, as the Arcosian was easily flicked it back at him. Polar approached the corpse.
Pity.
There was no point in letting the poncho go to waste. He fitted it on. It was a raggy old cloth, but fortunately the man was a bit taller than him. The poncho went down to his lower shins and the rather roomy hood managed to conceal his face. It wasn't the best disguise, but it would have to do.
----
The poor weather continued even as Polar entered the city, which worked in his favor. There were very little people out here to get a closer look at his misshaped and discolored form, save for a small little girl and her mother who walked past.
"Mommy, mommy!" shouted the girl, "A blue man!"
The girl's mother, luckily, passed it off as the imaginative ramblings of child and rushed off with her child to presumed shelter.
Polar passed through an intersection and, unfamiliar with the street signals, walked in as a car made a right.
BEEP! BEEP!
"Damn jaywalkers!" the angry driver ranted.
The Arcosian sighed, and turned off into an alleyway. He was so unfamiliar with this world and it's rules. It baffled him. At this rate, he might as well carry a sign that says, I am not of this world.

[Thread PL 185,575] Jarvis was chuckling a bit not far off a squad mate in BBA armor helmeted and masked standing next to him loading some goods into a trunk. Weapons mainly but nothing too out of hand. He just wanted to arm his squad with some non regulation goodies. He wasn't condoning gun running merely... arming the right people. He's second only chuckled as a Arcosian seemed to turn the corner into the alley. "I'll keep the contact in mind... As well as make sure he knows not deal in west city at least besides to us. I'll leave this to you boss..." The soldier eyeing Polar then hopping in the hover car never taking off his helmet and jetting off quickly.
Jarvis whistling a bit and looking back to the Arcosian. A little curious in expression as what a frosty was doing all the way out here? Oh right home burned didn't it... Or got fucked by some tree. What a way to go. "You lost Boyo? You seem to waaaay out of your element. You ain't one of the survivors from back are ya? I heard the saiyans gave it a right arse kickin. An here I thought that damn empire would never fall. But even empires crash down after so long I suppose. Heheh." Coming off as a little mocking but he never knew how to gauge these arcosians first off. Jarvis walked a little closer his blue saiyan tail swaying behind him. He always expected Brenchians and Arcosians to give him a rough attitude just like saiyans for his clear blood line as well as the fact it was clearly not pure.
"Are the Frosty's fleeing to earth? I expected you all to die out fighting the monkey tails? Or did you get out while the getting was still good? Didn't go for the whole guts and glory end most wanted?" Jarvis's hands in his pockets he didn't really make a attempt to suppress his power level either. He'd pull out a cigar as well from one of his pockets and would blow out a line of thin fire ki from his lips a light illuminating the alley as he lit the cigar in a rather showy way with his fire breathing ki. Before placing it his lips there after taking a nice long enjoying drag. His eyes not really giving the arcosian any type of worry. He could sense him well enough. Jarvis had nearly died once a week ago and had been training his ass off in gravity or enjoying his celebration of life with many and all who wished to join him of the female variety. As well as even shared drinks with the Kami of earth. But if anyone wanted to pick a fight they were gonna find someone who wasn't willing to hold back. Sure he wasn't gonna go killing anyone... had to keep BBA and Bing happy with him. But fucking people up was a different story. If they didn't want the dog to bite don't go disturbing him while he sleep.

It seemed Polar had walked onto something of an unsavory element. There was armaments, similar to the farmer's, definitely enough to supply more than one more. It seemed they had taken notice of him, as the former had jetted off to a place that Polar could only guessed. The latter fellow, a blue haired one, turned and faced Polar, immediately recognizing him as an Arcosian.
Initially, he came off as a bit of a taunting sort. Polar didn't mind it, though the nicknames agitated him a bit. By the sound of it, it seemed like he was the only Arcosian to have been seen since Kanassa. Whether or not that was because of Earth's limited communications, he could only assume he truly was the last of his kind. He could, perhaps, take advantage from the man's ignorance.
He looked down and sighted a tail. Could it be that this man was a Saiyan? It would make sense as most Earthlings had never heard of an Arcosian, much less seen one. As the Arcosian had initially thought, Saiyans had dark-colored hair and eyes. This man, a rather short fellow, instead had blue hair and matching eyes. Yet the tail...it was unmistakenly the tail of an ape. He had to restrain himself. The Arcosian had no idea what he was dealing with, and his scouter was currently out of his reach.
Polar had noticed his stoic silence as the blue man walked around him, blowing cigar smoke. He looked down at the man and spoke in his usually accented baritone voice.
"I came from Planet Kanassa, yes," Polar admitted, and left it at that, leaving the Brenchian to ponder on the rest. Perhaps that would give him some time to formulate a plan. If the Saiyans were really on Earth...he didn't even care to think of it.

Jarvis growled a bit but only chuckled. "That dirt ball? Really? I didn't think the Frostys like that place. They always seemed so eager to get back to their uppity ways back on the home planet. Or at least that's how it was when I was a boy and grew up there." A little unsure what to think of this. He slid his hands into his pockets letting his lips and teeth along hold up his cigar that slowly burned away in light embers. The smoke bellowing from his lips. "So why'd you come here? You know their coming here next apparently right? The queen with the fine ass and the bad attitude apparently wants the whole galaxy for her little kingdom. Heh. Crazy little bitch... Not that I like you lizards any more then that. No offense. Not that I really care." Jarvis in swoop insulting both empires.
He'd take in a long drag as the smoke burned at his lungs but saiyans were built tough smoke and drink hardly did the damage to them it did to normal humans or weak alien races. He'd just eye Polar wondering if this guy was gonna pull out some pride or just cowl down. He never did like these guys but then again he only met a handful. Of course he did have... fun knowledge of a few of their more female in figure brethren. But that story was for another time. An likely only if you mixed Saiyan whiskey and arcosian brandy to get him over the edge to actually tell you it.

"They're coming here?"
There was a certain distress in Polar's voice that he couldn't help. First Arcose, then Kanassa, now Earth? The Saiyans were really carving up the galaxy and, if Arcose and Kanassa was anything to tell, Earth wouldn't be a pretty sight afterward. He couldn't him but clench his fist under his poncho. What was he going to do?
He looked back up at the Saiyan, and a thought hit his mind. This alien didn't seem to be too concerned by the prospect of the Saiyans coming.
"I would care, if I were you," Polar cryptically answered in a solemn tone. He turned away with the swoosh of his poncho.

Jarvis reached out as the man turned and attempted to grab the cloth of the Poncho chuckling out. Letting out a chuckle of a heavy laugh as if to find it amusing at the idea of caring for the saiyans threat. "No boy. We will put them down unlike how our frozen home failed too. That Queen has allot of threats to deal with here. I don't fear them nor hear lap dogs! You see I got a bite of my own... An those dogs of hers all bark and very little bite. Stick around.... Maybe you at least get to watch them get beaten. Since I doubt after that little war you'd know what that looks like first hand yet. A victory I mean." Exhaling smoke towards the arcosian as he huffed in heavily on his cigar.
"Also.... Just so were clear! You aren't planning any trouble are ya?" Pending the Arcosians wits Jarvis would go to plant a strong fist into the Arcosians gut trying to raise a upward punch low and fast into the mans stomach with the full effort to be aimed at knocking all the air from the mans lungs. "Nothing personal besides the fact I hate stuck up Frost Demons... But please don't make me have to do worse... I know you guys got your honor codes or racial bravado or whatever. But please know if you or any of your ind try to start shit on earth I won't hesitate to remove your tail and strangle you with it. We understanding each other? IF its understood we can be friends!" Jarvis smiling large at the man in a cat like mischievous way of appearing innocent while being dark as he just struck at him if it hit of course. Jarvis thought it was easier to be direct then beat around the bush with a Icer. They could talk for hours and twist words so it was better use a fist. Who knew maybe the guy would realize it was just to save them both some time.

Polar turned back around as the man continued to speak. He seemed very confident in Earth's ability to repel an invasion. Though his bravado hardly convinced Polar, it was woth looking into. Other than that, Polar ignored the other comments, including the blatant mocking. Of course, the smoke being huffed into his face agitated him, and forced him to shut his eyes for the moment.
As he opened up his eyes again, he found a fist being thrust into his gut. It was a tough hit too, forcing down the Arcosian to one knee whilst holding his side. Knowing better than to get into a fight with a Saiyan who was most definitely much stronger than him, he bit his lip. Forcing a smile, he glanced up at the now-towering man.
"Oh, we're crystal clear..."

Jarvis huffed... This one was no fun. He was smart... I mean that was good but Jarvis half expected a fight. "Bah! Clever fellow. Just be careful out there... Er... There are safe houses I imagine you can find when the saiyans do arrive... Just. Try and stay out of trouble." Jarvis just scratching his cheek and feeling a light grumble leave him as he turned to walk off in the direction the hover car had speed off moments prior. A light blush in his cheeks as he felt a little bad now. He was used to expecting the worst from Arcosians so... Heh now he was embarrassed. Perhaps that's why he at least offered the friendly advice at the end for when the saiyans did in fact arrive.
"Just tell me one thing... did anyone make it off Arcose? Or did they kill everyone? Let anyone get away?" He didn't look back but he had to ask. He had to know if it was possible. Just perhaps so that little voice inside him would stop eating at him like a gnawing monster. Regardless of his answer unless he tried to stop Jarvis. Jarvis would make his leave and head off back to the club. Likely adding in a thank you softly under his breath as well if the man answered honestly. "This planet... Its not like home. You might just come to find you'll like your stay here regardless of this meeting." The though of home was sombering. He almost wanted a fight even more being forced to think of it and the family... No the blood was all it was. That was no family... But he still wondered of their fate.

Polar stood in his present position until the Saiyan turned away. For a moment, there was a cumbersome silence. The Arcosian lifted himself off the ground, just as Jarvis began to speak--with a hint of guilt in his voice--of some safe houses. If the Saiyans do arrive, Polar wondered, he doubted a safe house could be of help. Or maybe he meant some help? Regardless, Polar turned away with the swoosh of his cape to leave; that is, until Jarvis asked a much more sobering inquiry.
Did anyone else make it off Arcose, he questioned. For a moment, Polar was dead silent.
"There was one, but he perished..."
And it is for that reason I am talking to you today.
"The rest, I cannot speak for."
Jarvis maundered on, about how Earth was so different from Arcose. It wasn't anything Polar hadn't already heard from himself. Indeed, the Earth was so different and so strange from Arcose.
Just before he departed, however, Polar turned to face the man one last time.
"These safe houses, you mentioned. Where may I find them?"

Jarvis would take a moment to sigh as he was walking away but stopped. He'd tap his scouter a couple times. An pull some paper from his pocket. A monkey's paw club reciept and write on its back. Returning to Polar a moment later and extending it to him. Direction as well addresses to places the BBA he thought might set up areas for the civilians to get to safety at least if the heroes could hold of the invasion. "I imagine these places will take you in... AT least during the fighting. I'm not normally all chummy with your kind but not really that into seeing you killed either for no good cause... Just go to one of those locations. You might learn of more on your stay on this planet but those are the only ones I know of.... As for ARcose... I guess the fate of how it had to be is what came to pass. Still would have liked possibly to know what they thought.... Farewell Arcosian. If the planet doesn't burn to the saiyans Maybe I'll see you again in better spirits one day." Jarvis needing a drink as he made his way away. Waving a hand hating he encountered a kind one rather then the normal fighters. Now he just felt rude... He needed a stiff drink.
[Thread Exit this time for real PL please] (OOC: I figure the BBA would have safe areas and plans for civilians or at least I believe so)

Polar nodded in gratitude, and glanced down at the sheet. He didn't much care to run and hide during the fighting, but this 'Blue Banner Army' may be able to help him in some way. He certainly didn't have the capability to take on the Saiyans alone if they were anything like the ones at Kanassa.
Looking up, the man was already long gone. He didn't even get his name, he realized.
Thank you.
Pulling the baggy hood closer over his head, which was already soaked from the rain, he walked down the alleyway further as thunder roared in the distance.
