Sasha peeked into the living room and saw Articho look up from his... comic book? (Oh god he's a comic book nerd I'm so screeeewed!) she thought to herself. (I know only the stuff that's commonly known... and I've only ever read one comic... What was that one called again? It was a really famous one...) She mentally shook herself. (Now is not the time for this, Sasha!)
Articho had supposed she was ready to go and asked if there was a particular place she wanted to go whilst she was ruminating on comic books. She paused to gather her thoughts back on the right track and nodded. "Yeah I'm ready to go... I don't really know the area so I don't really have a specific place in mind... So yeah if you want to go anywhere I'll be down with that." She internally winced at her awkwardness. This is why she didn't really socialize, she was too painfully awkward at it and it just... seemed way too intimidating to talk to someone she didn't know. But she knew when she set out on this journey that she might have to do just that... though now she had to do it for different reasons than when she left home. Besides, Articho seemed nice... though Sasha knew that appearances weren't everything.

Articho studied Sasha for a moment, cycling through a few ideas in his head. He could tell that he needed to take her somewhere comfortable and fun for her. The problem was that he didn't know what she thought was fun. Thoughts flew around his mind before a light bulb went off. "What do you like to do?" the hybrid asked her. "Pitch me a few ideas and I'll think of somewhere around here that fits."
Articho noticed her wincing and his smile faltered. Sasha was uncomfortable and he was probably making it worse. He needed something more than just one place she would enjoy. The hybrid ran a small list through his head. Somewhere fun or interesting, something to eat, a movie. His smile returned as the pieces fell into place. This could still work. "How about after we go somewhere you would like, we grab some lunch and catch a movie later?"

"Well..." Sasha gave the idea some thought. The only place she could really think of that she would like to go would be a bookstore... or a music store... or... yeah, pretty much a store of some sort. Which, she knew from books, would bore most guys to tears. The bookstore was probably the safest bet, since he evidently liked comic books, but loosing hours reading books was probably not the best way to spend a date- those implied two humans interacting at a consistent pace for several hours, something that Sasha had never really been good at. She went more for short bursts- an hour at most really- before she defaulted back to introvert recharge mode, which for her usually involved locking herself in her room and reading books until she lost track of time and oh shit it was now 4 am and she had things to do tomorrow. Sasha realized she had probably been thinking for a little too long and heaven knew she didn't want to start another endless cycle of awkward silences again, so she said "...well, I'm not sure where I want to go." she ventured. "There are a few things I've been thinking about getting, but you probably don't really want to trail after me while I wander around a store... so yeah. But lunch sounds pretty good right about now." she said, suddenly aware of exactly how hungry she was. Which was pretty hungry, actually, since she hadn't eaten much since... and anyway she hadn't had breakfast. "So maybe... we could go get lunch now and decide where to go after that?" She ventured a little timidly.

Articho studied Sasha as she stood thinking about where she wanted to go. He could tell that this wasn't something she did often. He shrugged in response. "Today's about what you want to do, Sasha. If you want to go to a store, then we can go to a store. There's always something for me to do." The hybrid smiled at her as he started walking towards the door. "But grabbing lunch would be the best thing to do first. It'll help me keep out of your hair while your browsing. How's that sound?"

(oh right... Saiyan guys are usually big eaters... or so I've heard...) Sasha thought. She absentmindedly brushed her bangs out of her face only for them to fall right back where they were, as she said, "Alright... how about we get lunch and then go to a music store? I'm not really picky about food, so anywhere you'd like would be good." she responded. There was a new album by her favourite band that she had been meaning to find out if it had been released yet. Plus, she was sure there were other albums from other bands she had been meaning to pick up.... And anyway, it would be a lot less likely for her to get completely lost and ignore the person she was with at the time in a music store. And that way, she might find out more about him.

Articho nodded in response, smiling. A music store wasn't too bad of a place to go. He knew the one in the West Capitol was close to the electronics store and he wanted to show Sasha that video game starring Bing. Mostly to show off his own inclusion, of course. He still felt pretty proud of that one. "Sounds like a plan," he said, opening up the door. "We can choose a place to eat as we fly over to the West Capitol. I'm not sure what I'm wanting to eat just yet."
The hybrid stepped outside and gestured for Sasha to follow. "Don't get into too much trouble, Gleciar," he called back to his friend. "And expect my mother to treat you like one of her own when she finally comes down. Bing be with you on that one." Articho looked back at Sasha with a grin as he finished. "You want me to carry you on my back or in my arms?"

Sasha smiled in relief when Articho smiled and agreed with her plan. She swallowed nervously when he mentioned flying. (ohshitohshitohshitohshiiiiiiiit I don't want to fly I don't want to fly) she thought frantically. She forced herself to calm down and forcefully thought to herself (the last few times you flew with him you were just fine. He didn't drop you and it was perfectly ok. You. Will. Be. FINE.) Sasha followed him out the door as he called something to Gleciar that Sasha didn't really pay much attention to, focusing more on Articho's grin. Then he offered her a choice of how he was going to carry her. Sasha fought down the anxiety over flying once again and tried to think about it logically. (On his back, it'll be a little safer because we'll both be holding on to each other... bridal style is more intimate though... but I'll also look pretty silly... Right, let's go with the safer option then, I'd rather be safe than romantic, really.) "On your back sounds good." Sasha replied, trying to keep the anxiety out of her voice and, she feared, failing miserably. She forced a grin and said "Well, let's get going!"

Articho could hear the fear in her voice, which he could understand. Sasha was scared of heights, but the hybrid didn't have a car or any other means of transportation from his house to the city. He thought back to Zerori, who had a fear similar to Sasha's, though her use of threats and curses were more commonplace in her flight with him. "Hey, there's nothing to worry about," Articho said. "Four out of five passengers recommend to fly with me and you should ignore the fifth guy. I've told him multiple times that I didn't see that plane coming." He laughed a bit facing his back to her and hoisting her up.
"And we're off!" Articho said, slowly floating up into the air. He started flying forward, slowly at first but quickly picking up speed. He made a mental note to try and teach Sasha how to fly one of these days. "You feeling peckish for anything?" he said over his shoulder to Sasha.

Articho's joking, while obviously well-meant, was not helping matters, but Sasha wasn't going to tell him that. She just held on as tight as she could when he took off. She bit her lip to keep herself from screaming in terror as the feeling of (ohshitI'mgoingtofallI'mgoingtofallI'MGOINGTOFALL) gripped her mind. She tried to push that away as she heard Articho asking her what she was "peckish" for. Amusement at his choice of words helped her forget her fear for a moment as she thought. "Pizza sounds good, actually." she said, fear leaking into her words a bit. "But I could go for a sandwich, too. Your call, really." She ducked her head down, burying her face into his shoulder as she tried to forget she was floating in midair and the only thing keeping her from falling to certain death was her own strength and the strength of the man who was carrying her.

"Hmm," Articho thought for a moment. What did he want to eat? He did like sandwiches and he could always go for one of those. But the hybrid did have the discount on garlic bread at that one place in the West Capitol that he hadn't used yet. "I say pizza. I know a place in West Capitol that is gave me a discount when I helped save the city from vampyres. Might as well use that." Articho turned in the direction of the West Capitol and flew towards it. He felt Sasha bury her head into his back, smirking as she did. "Don't worry. I've got you," he assured her.
