Where once was a grand palace was rubble; and, amidst the rubble, a shinseiju... or, as Zucceta would soon term it, the Tree of Might. In only forty-eight hours, it had grown large and proud, perhaps the largest tree she had ever seen, as tall and wide as the palace had stood; and still she could feel it swelling, as the grass and dirt beneath her feet billowed into the wind as dust and sand.
Something light orange catches Lady Death's gaze, something glowing in the light of the Arcosian sun. She rises into the air, a smile playing at her lips, while she ponders the last few days.
After Wyntre's defeat, she had rested for an hour in Kouda's rejuvenation facility; she hadn't many injuries to heal, it was true, but she had felt exhausted from the battle despite the difference in power, the mixture of adrenaline and excitement a draining concoction for even a seasoned fighter. And so she had recuperated, quickly, and then left to oversee what remained of the resistance forces.
Arcose had fallen within two hours. That was surely a record in the history of the tensions between the SSE and the Planet Trade.
The saiyan losses had been notable, but leadership by Zucceta's chosen squad had minimised their own losses and maximised their victories. Even now, space pods screeched through the sky, coming and going from Vegeta. Many of the ground troops had already returned, although a sizable garrison still remained with Zucceta and company.
All the PoW's where summarily executed. Zucceta had seen to it personally. Arcosians allowed to escape, regroup or train were one potential threat too much for the queen of all saiyans. This strike was decisive, and the Arcosian Empire was a frail, shattered thing, but it was not yet dust on the winds of space.
But, Zucceta considers as she plucks the orange fruit from the Tree, it soon would be.
She stares at the fruit for a moment, biting her bottom lip, before placing the fruit to her mouth and chomping down.

[Heavy Weights Equipped]
Kouda had been monitoring the growth of the tree from a window in the Golden Fox. While he brooded over several matters breeding within his mind, his body stood fixated on the strange tree as if it were just a scenic view.
Today however he decided the tree deserved his attention. A tree would seem harmless to the ordinary person but Kouda knew the danger such an organism could bring.
Kouda descended from his ship within his ball chair along with two Red Eclipse Messengers. They hovered above the ruined city with cautious stillness. They were ghosts in a graveyard. Zucceta may see the city as still a threat but Kouda in his long life had once been raised and lived within the population center. He knew that this city was only dead now.
Kouda and his two mmessengers, Guit and Ghidra, landed on a growing root. The two young messengers helped the elderly Kouda out of his chair. Guit the namekian placed a long cane with red moon ornament into the Ee's hand. Ghidra the human simultaneously helped strap on a strange respiratory mask on to Kouda's face. "There ya go,you old lizard thing" she muttered as she finished adjusting it to his face. When the messengers let him go, Kouda bent down to feel the root growing underneath him.
"I've never seen anything this big grow this quick" Guit spoke.
"Fascinating, isnt it?" Kouda said, his voice altered by the mask.
The trio looked around and continued to inspect the tree's base. Guit began taking photos of the roots while Ghidra scouted around in any case anyone ambushed them. Ghidra had vanished as she was quite good at doing but only a moment later a message appeared on Koudas wristpad alerting him that Ghidra had spotted the Queen at the branches of the tree. Kouda immediately spread his wings and flapped up to one of the branches. He landed on one of the wide branches and waddled along it with his cane.
There she was. The Queen's lips were locked on to the edge of an orange fruit. She seemed deeply enraptured by it.
"Lady Death" Kouda addressed the saiyan queen.
"This tree...I've hardly seen any organism like it. A plant this size...this ambitious...works both ways. Its intake will match its gigantic growth. This war seems like more than a due vendetta now. How long have you planned this (tree)? What have you wrought here?"

Icarus was on the scene shortly there after and had already been... plucking small samples of this strange phenominon of a tree to study when back home. Since the battle had ended as well none had seen him rest or even stop moving of late from treating injured to sorting through data some of which had been reported and whispered he was being secretive over. Things of the Arcosians information that he chose to keep to himself. As well as no one seemed to have been reported what his drones had done with the late wyntres body. That he at least for now had set in burial as best he could for Arcosian fashion in the ice fields as she asked. To find said location one would need get entry his brain personally given he detonated the drones shortly after. A courtesy of sorts to the well mannered Tuffle scientist.
But the time for samples and the like were behind him how shortly after this he was within the scene Icarus for now was in his usually fine coat of the of well styled and functional type of clothing. His boots a little muddy and instead of just a shirt he was wearing a sleeveless chest plate. Perhaps a little cautious of the war as to why he'd actually be wearing armor. He'd be lightly on edge quickly moving past Kouda and moving to a nearby limb rocket boots crushing down on the limb that he seemed to attain prefect balance atop with light ease. Paying little attention at the moment to Doctor and his little assistant. Icarus eye'd Zucceta and her treasure still unsure what this phenomenon was nor could even fathom how saiyans could have something like this at their disposal Icarus eye'd the tree and her as something was bothering him lightly but he still kept the aura of respect as to not give offense. Always well mannered and proper in his small stature appearing a giant in posture even if smaller then nearly all those in the force. He'd finally speak as he scanned the woman and the tree before them. "Was executing them all really necessary... Total destruction like this can only be answered with further war. Such choices are rather brash and don't give any hope of negotiation in the least if things don't always favor us my queen... I beseech you to consider the opinions of advisers perhaps before we just put any more forces to blade and end lives in such mass droves." None too pleased at all the arcosians cut down he'd heard of. Although he understand her worry of such beast like creatures he still didn't like the idea of genocide. A attempt at so many after regicide of the arcosian empire could easily bring about more fire and war to Vegeta. There were unknowns and who knew if any other force was out there to aid these people. Icarus was only scratching the surface of looking through the massive amount of data he'd pulled from their archives to know for sure how far the empire could call for allies.
He'd scan the tree briefly as well as seem baffled at its origin or whatever it truly in fact was. "What is this... thing as well? Forgive me but... in my past I find it impossible that saiyan minds alone could have constructed something like this... Tree? Is it? What is happening its growing at such a fast rate and when I look to the soil I can see its roots burrowing deeper into the planet then any foreign force should take.... AT this rate how will we even occupy Arcose? The planets soil bellow is being torn asunder.... If this thing keeps growing by speculation is things could go rather bad for all on this planet. Forgive me for possibly being a little worried but what purpose does this serve? I saw nothing of this in any of the battle plans or preparation and I..." Pausing momentarily before speaking. He still didn't know if the queen was ever aware how much of the SSE information database Icarus and wormed his way into. How he'd been giving himself access to things he may have access to when Vennel gave access and neglected to ever give such things back. "..Have not seen information of it. Even among our own... special archives." He'd likely flinch a bit. Worried about any back lash as Icarus was at times worried around this Queen. She had that aura about her that warrior spirit of her people that just made him feel his shoulders tense and the tingle on the back of neck that told him to be cautious. His feelings knotting him as it was sometimes hard to clamor out the words. It made it a challenge to keep up proper appearances like he preferred at times. He clearly seemed a little distressed at something he'd not calculated for. Staying ahead information wise was what gave him his edge. This mad him worry of Zucceta's cunning a bit more now.
"If I may be so bold... Please explain....? I am conflicted. An I fear only my queens thoughts and words will quell my mind at the moment." Not being specific as if he meant between the tree or clearly in his eyes the genocidal way of treating all captured forces. A blush on his cheeks and for a moment quiver of his lip. The sign he wanted to give no offense or risk her wraith as he preferred to seek better relations. But staying silent in this and he'd not only learn nothing but reside himself to be a coward... AS possibly the last of his people as far as he knew. He had to have some pride and strength though when appearing before her. Otherwise he would truly be nothing but the last of a people long since destroyed. Nothing more then a reminder when he sought to right his own chapter on this world not just be a reminder of the old. Looking to Kouda only for a moment as if a acknowledging stare. Icarus was still young when he became what he was. He needed answers and had a conflicted young spirit when it came to war. But he knew well of it even from back in the war with the Tuffles.

Zucceta twists to her ally, the proclaimed head of the Red Eclipse, a smile playing at her lips as she feels something changing inside of her, a sudden surge of power erupting from her mouth, throat and gut, a white aura blasting up around her. Her power would jump from one hundred and ninety thousand, to two thousand units, as she swallowed the remainder of the fruit.
So, then, it was confirmed; its fruit was a fruit that gave strength to its consumer. Yes, this weapon would help her cause, solidify her victories. She would be remembered as the final conqueror of the Arcosians, their fate sealed by the godly tree.
She chuckles, folding her arms. "This potent seed was a recent acquisition of mine, my dearest Kouda."
She smiles. "Although I did not plan this invasion, initially, to test this biological wonder... I believed the trashed world of Arcose would make a fitting test of this new weapon in my arsenal, no matter the consequence of its usage."
She twists to Icarus, her other scientific ally. "I intend for further war, until the last vestiges of resistance from the Arcosian empire are destroyed and they submit to the superiority of the SSE. The arcosian warriors themselves are too big a threat to the continued security of our soldiers, who sadly only match them under the kind eye of the Blutz Waves."
She frowns at the Tuffle. "The last king to rely on his advisors was weak, and his death paved the way for these advisers to form the Ministry that wanted my head on a spike. I will not repeat his mistakes, tuffle, and I advise you watch your tongue."
The saiyans thrived on fire and war. They would never be truly destroyed; they would rise from the ashes like a phoenix should a solid counter-strike deal them damage.
They would survive, persevere, and then thrive once more.
She then turns back to the tree, which even now she could hear creaking with growth. "I never intended to occupy Arcose; it is symbolic to our enemies but almost worthless in resources. It was to be destroyed, one way or another. This... Tree of Might," she smirks, naming the plant rapidly raping Arcosian soils, "shall do the job for me, while strengthening my forces with its fruit."
She smiles. "I suspected as much from the visions those old crones sent me on Landfall. I passed their test, and the seed became mine to wield."
She twists to her two advisors. "I like to keep secrets, comrades. Especially from an ex-PTO officer, and a Tsufuru-jin; remnants of two now-extinct enemies to my people; to me."
"Now then," she muses, "how do you suspect this tree operates?"

Icarus had appeared, very upset at that. He expressed his discontent with the Queen's ruthlessness with her occupation. Like Kouda, Icarus had begun to suspect something awry with the roots' massive size and the probable repercussions that would arise from them. He also was curious of Zucceta's intentions with the gigantic tree.
Zucceta dismissed the tuffle's accusations with her own self righteous claims as quickly as she denied informing Kouda and Icarus about the tree and its secrets. As she aptly put it, Kouda and Icarus both had origins with long time enemies with the saiyans.
Kouda placed a claw beneath his chin and gave a smirk.
"And your caution is not misplaced at that," Kouda remarked on the Queen's choice to not tell him about the tree, "it is true that I was once a spy for the Arcosian Empire and because of that I understand that a secret can be sharper than any blade in the world hehehe...You are a wise ruler, Zucceta, I'll give you that. But maintaining your grip can be even more difficult than conquering. This tree, this 'Tree of Might', as you claim, has the power to strengthen your grip. Such power...can be a double edged sword...IF one wields it unwisely. That's where I lend you my counsel, my service. Strange galactic organisms are my specialty, after all."
Kouda glances at Icarus and then back at Zucceta.
"I'm certain Icarus can aid you in this endeavor as well."
Kouda then begins to pace along the branch.
"How does your 'Tree of Might' operate? *lightly chuckles* You entertain a raving thought, your highness...well, this tree must be eating something if its this large in such a short span of time and when I look out at the city, this place is only but rubble and corpses. The dirt here is rich with the fallen. The sudden shift in the environment could have allowed a species to become far more competitive perhaps even an invasive one. But the question that stabs at me still is that it the area where its drawing power from can't be only these ruins. A tree this size, growing at this rate...no...there's more to it than meets the eye. I suspect this tree's roots might be growing beyond this city and into the tundras but there's no way for me to tell as of now. Even then, I've never heard of any kind of plant thriving like this here on Arcose."

Icarus gulped back a bit at the idea of needing to watch his words. He'd give a light sigh and bow his head for a moment. Not something he did often giving proper respects even as the gentlemen the was. A sign of respect that wasn't seen often at least in this style of a direct bow. Normally he spoke brashly while keeping his gentlemen like and mannered behavior. Although he did roll his eyes and chuckle when Kouda agreed with her for a moment of her comment on their races. "Oh yes... Big worries brewing among the old ruins of home... I sometimes fear I'm all that's left. Needless to say though you have no worry of me in that regard. I'm sure if any do still live I've long sense become untouchable to them. Given where I stand with you my queen they'd surely see me as one of you now rather then a Tuffle." Speaking quickly and to the point. Truthful and lightly painful though. He had nothing to return to besides home of the SSE now. If his people did exist it would be bitter sweet in discovery if it were to come. Although some part of him still did desire to know of the fate of any and all that may have made it off the planet in those days. what ancestors mayt have remained or colonized other planets.... But that was just a dream. A dream that would likely never see the light of day.
Icarus couldn't help but as well smirk smugly when Kouda mentioned as being able to help. They had a similar theory of the tree sucking out power itself and the life energy of the planet. A planets 'ki' if you would. Its very essence. Icarus would in a moment after Kouda had finished not wanting to be rude and cut him off would wait. Then the second they both were quite Icarus would take in a deep breath and burrow his mind within their scouters wirelessly. He'd been making sure the empire was up to date with latest Tech so the images would come through clean. Kouda of course had his own tech but he knew there was no way the doctor would be using lack luster equipment. Icarus had a respect for this man so certainly he had up to date equipment.
"A little aid... Visualy aid I find often is a much better teacher then words alone! As you can see Kouda our queens tree is in fact devouring this planet as we suspected." He'd say his eyes gazing downward at the soil. But what he saw was not soil but beyond that deep within the earth. He could see the roots growing and expanding before their very eyes now as through his view and as best the scouters could display the video feed they would see it as well. "This planet is being sucked clean... My scans not only see these roots digging and destroying at the planets layers. Creating faults and destruction to its stability but I can also tell you the nutrients in the soil what little there are on this ice planet are being drained. This tree of might is one of power and death... Beauty and destruction I suppose its only fitting in that regard as to why my great queen is the one to have held it so close. They share the same qualities in that regard. My speculation is... When this tree is done. From the damage already caused whatever remains won't be much. In fact if I may be so bold given the growth rate and the current speed the roots are taking place in expanding... This planet likely will either be just a lifeless husk when we leave... Or not in one piece anymore. The tree itself is already becoming the thing of ifts destruction as well as the only thing holding it together. I must admit... it takes the breath away." He'd say with a blush forming on his cheeks. This was death but art as well. A beautiful thing that he had never dreamed of possible. This was why he knew he'd made the right decision sticking with this empire. "You ate of its fruit... That I am unsure of though... I imagine this tree has its use given history details most saiyans would kill a planet in a way like this normally. Most prefer the more brutish ways and showing of power. This however comes after wyntres fall... Does by chance that equal your goal..." Throwing ideas together as the soil closed to the roots was already losing years of nutrients. Dead soil that would no grow nothing and never be enriched again enough to shed life. Yet the tree bore fruit... "Careful deduction... But I'd wager you are consuming the planets spirit... Its power. Those fruit grow from a tree in now lifeless soil." He reasoned this had to be a reach for power of some kind. Why else take such a lovely and artful way of destroying a planet she could likely just do with a wave of her hand and a blast. No she had more at work here then that and she already feasted on one of the fruits. His eyes fixated upon her at this time likely cutting the feed for them both. He had no scouter on his face so it may have been a odd experience having their tech hijacked for the moment. But he didn't expect them to take offense given it was purely to share in the discover.

(Heavy Weights On)
Luffa hadn’t been this exhausted in years, not since his turbulent upbringing by the vile Viceroy Mustad. He dragged his shimmering golden cloak through the muck that the massive tree’s roots had kicked up. Everything had happened in a daze, after he’d lost his Great Ape form from the fizzled moonball. The process of reversion was exhausting. After shrinking down to size, he’d been attacked by a changeling holdout in the ruin of Wyntre’s palace, and nearly killed. He’d fought desperately to defend himself, but only a lucky swing that threw the changeling back and the additional good fortune of one of the tree’s massive roots sweeping through the blasted halls and crushing his opposition flat had saved him. He’d spent much of the rest of the time crawling and then stumbling on shaky knees towards the shade of the tree. His once-regal red tunic was torn and scorched, a ki blast giving him a fresh and fleshy burn that cut into his shoulder and chest, battering and singing his emerald aegis. Another deep cut ran down his arm, where he’d blocked a sweeping kick from the changeling who’d surprised him in the palace. The acrid smoke and soot from the raging war still clung to his body.
When he finally staggered amongst the others, caked in sweat, his black hair matted close to his young and scarred face, he gave a dry chuckle. “Your Majesty. It seems we’ve won.” His golden scouter chirped with pulsing readouts from the tree, which seemed to be sucking the entire planet dry, like a Vegetan raptor did to a rival’s egg.
Luffa leaned back and gazed up at the dark monstrosity. It was titanic, several dozen kilometers high, enough for its impossible trunk to break through the icy clouds of Arcose, and at least three times as wide. It seemed to be growing larger still, with each pulse of energy. The Queen and the others seemed much stronger and reinvigorated by tasting its fruit. What sort of alien vegetable could produce such results? When it was his turn, he floated in a shaky, beaten manner up to the high boughs of this lofty vampire, and reached out with trembling fingers, grasping at the spiky coral-shaded fruit.
He brought it to his lips, and gingerly pressed his teeth against it. The rind was hard, its skin difficult for even his Saiyan jaws – which were used to breaking bone -- to clamp down on. But eventually he broke through, and the Fruit of Might’s sweet nectar hit his tongue.
His eyes widened in shock at the flow of energy, and he quickly shoved the rest in his mouth, devouring it savagely. He gave a cloud-bursting scream, a shimmering green aura flickering around him as he spread his arms and legs, descending back towards the ground. His small arms and legs buged with muscle, temporarily inflating from the huge spike in power. “Heh heh heh heh! I’m ready for more of that!” He growled fiercely, grinning toothily at Queen Zucceta. “We need a whole orchard of these trees! We’ll be able to crush anyone like an insect!” He zipped back and forth around the entire circumference of the tree, brimming with a wild sort of energy. “My power level has nearly doubled! My Queen, with this food, there is no foe that the soldiers of the Solar Saiyan Empire won’t best!” His eyes gleamed maniacally. “Or we could take it for ourselves, and rule or destroy as we see fit.” He suggested, the Fruit’s effect having gone straight to the boy’s head.
(+10,000 to Luffa's PL, Fruit eaten. Next fruit in 2 days (6th fruit), when it will go to Mayze then 2 days later to Xylo. @hitora, you were skipped but there is a fruit for you waiting. Kouda, I don't know if you ate.)

Hitora sat atop what was once a large and important building. The sun was setting on this doomed planet that he and the other Saiyans that Queen Zucceta had brought. He chuckled as he surveyed the damage that lay around him, he thought on the fight with the one Arcosian who had gave him any real trouble, what was his name? oh well, it didn’t matter nor did the names of any other Arcosian he’d killed that day. He also smirked about the taste of the Arcosian he had eaten, it was still a tasty thing he had eaten and he’d enjoyed every little bite of the former living being. The taste reminded him of what the earthlings had called chicken. It was for the sake of this strange tree that Zucceta had called him, something about it having the ability to make him stronger than ever. He didn’t care for the non Saiyan’s being here, the only one he didn’t mind was Kouda since he’d long since proven himself a worthy being and worthy of Hitora’s respect and the promise that when he takes over the universe that Kouda can work for him in some capacity or be given a quick and painless death.
It was then that he felt a strange rumbling in his stomach and saw the fruit of the tree. They were strangely shaped, and didn’t look all too appetizing, but he wasn’t one to judge food based on how it looked or smelled but solely on how it tasted. He got off the rubble and walked towards the tree, he then plucked one of the fruits off the tree, as others were now starting to do. He looked at the fruit, wondering just what it would taste like. He then took a small bite from it, to try and taste it before he indulged his hunger fully. The fruit had a sort of bitter taste to it, but he’d eaten worse in his lifetime, he then shortly thereafter felt a sudden burst to his strength, it was miniscule compared to his current power level, but then again he’d only taken a small bite of it. He smiled almost evilly as the thoughts of all the things he could do had he had more tree’s like this that he could eat. Hitora then began to eat the rest of the fruit, quickly, almost scarfing the fruit down entirely.
Hitora finished the fruit quickly, within a few large bites in fact, he frowned slightly when the effects from before weren’t immediately felt. Was that all the fruit was good for? Such a tiny boost, it was just when he finished that thought that the fruit suddenly took effect, almost as if it had gained sapience his own aura flared up fully, his strength increasing in a large amount suddenly. His muscles bulged all over his body before settling down into their normal spots, and he could tell that he was suddenly much stronger than he was before. His hair too had became sharper briefly, standing up more towards the sky before returning down to its normal amount of spikiness. Hitora then blinked rapidly a bit, before looking down at his hands, the right covered in the juice of the fruit that was left behind after he’d eaten it. He then looked at each of the people gathered here to see if they had the same kind of reaction to the fruit that he had, however he didn’t see any of them doing the same thing he did. That however could simply be attributed to him being distracted by the sudden surge of power he’d just had.
Hitora then looked to Zucceta and said “What was that? I’ve never eaten anything that had that kind of effect on me before…” Hitora, being the usual guy he was hadn’t been paying attention to any of the prior conversation even before his experience with the fruit, and still had not even the slightest idea what it was he’d eaten, for all he knew the fruit was supposed to be poisonous. Hitora didn’t care at this point, he just wanted to know more so that he could try to find it or grow it himself to get more strength, to become even stronger than he was now.
