((It's cool, I've been out all day too.))
Breech was right, it would go poorly for him. As violet light filled the room, Raisu felt a knot tightening in the bit of his stomach and he knew he'd made a mistake. He'd been too obvious, too open with his attack. And now he was going to pay the price. The violet bolt of energy crashed into Raisu's own beam, and the two struggled for a few short moments, Raisu's arms trembling before the might of breech's attack. And suddenly, his own beam gave way and it accelerated into his chest. It burned at his flesh, the white hot energy a figurative iron against his body. His teeth grit and he resisted the urge to scream. It was his first time having felt an attack of this caliber. How could anyone take this kind of punishment? This doctor was on another level entirely.
The beams dissipated. And Raisu was left standing, having managed to stand through the pain. His breathing came hard, but he wasn't out yet. His blood commanded he grit his teeth and bear it. He even laughed a little, before speaking. "That stung a little," he cracked. There was a feral line of thought in his mind, one that fueled his next attack. He charged, wild, hopping from side to side as he charged across the small distance that separated them, hoping to throw the doctor's aim. And as he closed in, he leaped through the air, leg extended before him, hoping to crash squarely into the doctor's chest.

As the beams inched closer and closer to Raisu, the expected occurred. The combination of white and violet smacked into Raisu's chest, burning the Saiyans abdomen. Shortly after the two attacks disappeared, leaving the duo at a standoff's distance, eyeing down one another. The building continued to burn, flames growing wilder in every direction. It would probably burn down entirely soon enough, but that probably wouldn't affect these warriors in any way.
Raisu laughed, grinning like a madman as he let out a quip. Breech simply stared him down, waiting for the moment that an opening would present itself.
Suddenly, the Saiyan began his approach. Hopping side to side to assumedly attempt to throw off his aim or some such. It wouldn't do much, but it was still smarter than simply charging forward like a raging buffoon. The Saiyan hopped into the air near the end of his charge, and extended his leg from above, intending on slamming it into Breech.
With a quick motion, Breech would attempt to grab Raisu's ankle. If the grab was successful, Breech would then pull his arm back and fling it forward, attempting to toss Raisu into a nearby wall.
If the grab was unsuccessful somehow, then Breech would simply be hit by the kick, and stagger backwards.

Amid the smoke and flames, Raisu felt the cold hands of Doctor Breech slip around his ankle. His heart dropped as he was flung around and sent sailing into a nearby wall. He slammed against, hard, and felt the wall give a little beneath the force of impact. The air escaped his lungs, rushing out in a single rasp. He slid down the wall, landing hard on his side as flames crept along the floor. So long as his clothes didn't catch, he wouldn't have to pay the flames any mind. He closed his eyes and shook his head, trying to focus. He breathed, trying to recapture the air that had been knocked from him, but only the acrid smoke would fill his lungs and sting at his eyes.
As he laid there, it dawned on him. He was completely outmatched. He slammed his fist into the ground, splintering the floor beneath his fist. And he thought he was strong. Nothing like meeting an android to prove you wrong. He opened his eyes, the smoke stinging them as he gazed up at his adversary, raw anger, and maybe fear, in his gaze. He'd never been challenged like this. And what could he do? The man would be able to meet all of his attacks and then some. It was useless.
Small sparks leaped at his hands. It stung, like a bite from a small insect. Hurt even. He bit his lip. Not like that blast he'd taken to his chest. Not like the blast the elder had taken to his chest. Damn Breech! He raised his fist and slammed it again. No, he thought, not like this.
He raised his hand again, squinting through the smoke and began to gather enough ki for a basic blast. The doctor would probably block it, but if Raisu didn't try, what was he worth? The ki shot from his hand, and Raisu prayed it would strike true. He sent low and fast, towards the doctor's lower mass.

Breech let out a satisfied chuckle as he felt his hand grab leg. With a deft display of strength, he tossed Raisu into the wall, indenting it some and lowering the amount of time this place would stand tall. It was honestly surprising how sturdy this place was. Shimu certainly was a brilliant man, if the structure of this building was any testament. It was a shame he had to die in the name of progress.
Raisu sat slumped near the wall, seemingly cursing himself for his actions. He slammed the floor multiple times, splintering the wood in a bout of furious rage. Breech slowly walked forward, hands placed behind his back once more.
The android watched as Raisu slowly charged up another attack. This one seemed much weaker than the last however, and was most likely just a desperate attempt to cause some form of pain to the mechanized doctor.
The Saiyan threw the Ki blast out, aiming it low. Breech simply hopped over it, allowing the orb to impact on the wall behind Breech, causing the entire building to rumble angrily. The aging house was on its last legs now.
"You know, it would be much simpler if you just gave up and let me kill you. Although this is an excellent test of my abilities, I have some other business to attend to, and I'd rather not have you following me around like a vengeful puppy."
His artificial eyes filled with violet energy once again. He was going to end this battle, with or without Raisu's compliance.

The ki blast sailed harmlessly under Breech, and exploded into the wall behind him. The house groan and shook, protesting the further abuse it took. A bit more and the house would come down around them. The doctor stood over Raisu, taunting him. Important business? Raisu's eyes narrowed. This was important business! At least to him. In this moment, it was the most important thing in the world, at least to Raisu. Was it really such a casual encounter for the doctor? As violet light flashed across the room, illuminating Raisu's face, the truth was evident: He was outclassed. This beam would finish, and he'd be lucky to escape alive. But damn, if he was going down, he was going down on his terms. He smirked, and looked up at the doctor.
"You're right, Doc, I think we're done here. At least for now."
He would have to be quick. There'd be no time to charge his attack, and there would be no guarantee this would actually work. But, one way or the other, this fight was going to end in the next few moments. He stuck his tongue out at the doctor and rolled to the side, his body complying reluctantly. He raised his arm in a familiar fashion and quickly drew ki into his hand, and let it go in a single white flash. Not aimed at the doctor, no, that would be useless. Instead, Raisu put his hopes in bringing the whole damn house down on them. The brilliant beam of light went careening towards the wall, and Raisu sent a single prayer along with it. As the beam exited his hand, he hunched into a ball and hoped for the best, ready to either be blasted or buried. Either result was inevitable, he just hoped he'd be walking away.

Compliance was something Breech was not graced with often. Though he'd only begun his more vile acts recently, all of them had been met with intense resistance. Raisu's words, for a brief moment, made Breech smile. The Saiyan wanderer said they were done here, and while Breech took that as Raisu accepting his death, it obviously had a very different meaning to the one who spoke it.
Raisu stuck his tongue out at his mechanized opponent, inciting a curious look from the doctor. With an amazing display of dexterity, Raisu rolled to his feet and began charging another attack. "The futility of resistance is only making this harder on you Raisu. Submit to the sweet release of death!"
What Breech had thought was another attack aimed for him was surprisingly aimed at the wall. Breech stared in disbelief as he realized what Raisu was planning. "NO!" Frantically he tried to match Raisu's blast with his own, but he missed just barely. Instead, Breech's Ocular Lazer also hit a wall, further cementing the fate of this building.
The building began to shake, and Breech gave Raisu a look that was a mixture of rage and respect. It was an excellent strategy for escape, and Breech couldn't say he expected this. All calculations were pointing to Raisu's life ending here, yet somehow he was able to beat the odds. Breech had to give him some form of respect for that.
"I suppose this is the end of our encounter. Until we meet again..."
Before he could finish, the building gave in to the damage it had sustained. The wooden house fell inwards, smashing into Breech like an avalanche of wooden fury. Though he was an android, it would take him much more than a minute to remove himself from his improvised prison, giving Raisu ample time to escape.

The doctor fired his own shot with a cry of disbelief. Raisu braced himself for the blast, but it did not come. Instead, the building shook even more and it groaned as it began to come down. Raisu sat up, and looked at the doctor for a moment, right in the eyes. They'd meet again. Raisu was sure of that. But when they did, he'd be ready. Raisu looked at him hard, trying to commit everything about this man- no, this machine, to memory. Oh yes, next time, he would be ready.
And, as if on cue, the wood began to crash down all around them. Raisu's heart started to bat ever faster, he'd need to get out if he was going to take full advantage of his plan. He jumped to his feet, his body aching. Frantically, he began to knock wood aside, even using ki blasts to burn it away. As if he'd finally caught a break, he was not far from the hole Breech had blown in the wall when he'd killed Shimu. He stumbled over fallen wood and smoke bit at his eyes, and board after board impeded his way. He punched and kicked his way to freedom, splinters snagging at his clothes and exposed skin. And suddenly. light! He stumbled out unto the hard, natural ground outside, gasping for the fresh air. He looked back at the house and sighed a single breath of frantic relief before pulling himself to his feet. He looked around him, chaos all about. Breech, he thought, would pay for this. Someday, one way or another. Karma's a bitch, after all.
And Raisu was still not out of the proverbial woods. He looked around, feet twisting in confusion, and finally he chose a direction and ran from the village. His feet pounded against the ground in his flight from the small town and his cheeks burned. Was he right to leave them? Breech wasn't going to be happy. Not that he likely ever was, but still. He'd abandoned them. But he'd make it right someday. At least he told himself that as the land seemed to stretch out before him.
Run, run, run, he told himself. Suppress, suppress, suppress, he chastised himself. He calmed his mind, and focused on hiding his own energy as he made his way from Shifu village. Someday, he might come back. See what was still standing, if anything. But for now, he had one thing on his mind: survive. And another thought would form in his head: revenge. Or better yet: justice.

While Raisu had made his desperate escape, Breech had gotten caught in the wreckage. It crashed down hard, and would have been excruciatingly painful were he still human, but thankfully he was no longer human, so instead it only infuriated him. He was stuck there for quite a long time. Every time he made progress in removing rubble from his path, more fell onto him. This was going to take forever, even if he began to use Ki attacks! That damn Saiyan was going to receive Breech's full wrath someday, but sadly that day was long from now. From outside the wreckage, someone began moving some of the house away. Blasts of energy smashed into the house and yells from outside continued to grow louder as the wreckage was cleared. "I think I can see him there! Shimu, Shimu can you hear me?!"One final, massive chunk of wall was moved, and Breech was finally free from the wreckage. The young man from before was the one who found him. The young man smiled as he put his hand out for Breech to grab. "Ah, stranger, you're alive! Do you know what happened here? Did that strange boy attack the elder?"Breech grabbed the boys hand and stood up. The doctor surveyed the nearby area thoroughly. Multiple Gi wearing men were using Ki or simple buckets of water to put out the fire, while others were looking through the rubble and wreckage for Shimu. Breech turned back to the man who helped him up, and spoke in his eerily cold tone. "The boy had nothing to do with it, I was the one who killed your dear Shimu.""W-what?! You can't be serious sir!""Oh but I am serious boy...Dead. Serious."A burst of violet energy, and a scream. The young man in a Gi falls to the floor, with a hole through his chest that is still smoking. A group of people come to his corpse. A few of them start crying, while others search the area for his killer who is already gone. Breech watches from the sky, Resillium Core casing held firmly in his right hand. With a confident nod, he flies off, heading back to his lab in the North. "One piece of the Resillium Core is in my hands now...only a few others remain. Hopefully that Saiyan won't interfere in the future."[END THREAD] (Zeni Requested) ( Raisu Hanamura what do you want as a thread reward?)
