(Thread PL: 11,157)) Gizzard Wastelands
Deep in the Gizzard Wastelands sat a hidden lab, embedded into the side of a mountain. Inside it lay two robotic entities: Dr. Breech, and his assistant Golm. Once again, it was time to begin testing his new bodies systems. Breech had finished with repairs, and was even outfitted with a few upgrades. If he did not succeed in testing his combat systems properly this time, then he would need further improvements. The elderly looking android stood up from his research desk and walked over to the lab doors. Before opening them however, he contemplated for a moment. He wasn't the only one here in his lab, he also worked with his trusty assistant Golm. The android was only recently outfitted for combat capabilities, but he was already shown to be a useful asset in this re-purposed form. "Though bringing him along would be useful, I think one more solo test would be preferable. I'll have to give Golm a secondary task to distract him for the time being."Walking towards Golm, Breech spoke in his usual cold tone of voice "Golm, I have a task for you. As you know I've been deciphering the LED-Drones' data, and I've finally cracked it. The data shows the coordinates to a thought-to-be destroyed piece of technology: a piece of The Resillium Core. With it I'll be able to upgrade both of us, so go and collect it as soon as possible. While you're gone, I collect one of the other pieces." With a wave of the hand, he left Golm to his own devices. Breech needed to test, and with Golm being given a new objective, he could do so without interruption. The doctor walked towards the lab doors and exited into the cold whiteness, heading Eastward. He flew through the cold skies with haste, heading to a village that was labeled on his map. Eastern Lands Breech slowly floated across the sky, nearing his destination. It was only about 2 miles away, so to keep surprise on his side, he descended to the ground and began walking. From here, his scouter was already picking up a few higher than average signatures. There was a grouping of them, all around 500 Power Level. It wouldn't be the best test, but it would have to do for the time being. He just hoped no do-gooders would interfere on the way. ( Golm you might wanna read this post for inspiration on your next training post.)

Raisu whistled as he walked, a tune he didn't know the name of. He'd heard it on a street corner a few days past, floating from an electronics store. It was a catchy tune, sticking with him, or at least the part he'd heard. In fact, it was even a bit annoying, repeating the same lines over and over, not knowing what comes next. Well, he thought, maybe he'd hear it again. Still, the whistling made his heart feel light. Ever since he'd left home, he'd found plenty of things that did. The stars at night, the sound of birds singing, coffee. The list goes on, and now he could most definitely add whistling to the list. And walking. There was something peaceful about it, as he just walked with no particular destination in mind. He vaguely remembered someone mentioning a village this way. Maybe he'd come across it and find a place to stay for the night.
In the distance, he could vaguely sense Ki signatures, stronger than normal people. For a second, he considered whether or not it would be best to avoid them. He shrugged it off, changing his course towards the ki. He increased his pace, hoping to reach them soon. His stomach growled and he frowned, increasing his pace even more. Maybe they'd have food to share. Or buy, though he'd prefer not too. Money was still tight, though that couldn't be helped. Well, it could be. If he settled down and found a job, that would help. Or, perhaps he could learn to hunt. It couldn't be too hard. Maybe he'd try it if he kept up in the wandering.
He walked for some time more, making his way towards the signatures. His eyes went along the way until his eyes fell on a man walking the same way. Another traveler? What a coincidence. Raisu vaguely wondered if this village got many visitors, though he supposed it didn't matter. He picked up the pace and ran up beside the other traveler, eyeballing him as did. He looked like an older man, grey hair abound. He grinned and waved to the stranger.
"Going the same way, guy?" He asked.

The doctor walked along the dirt path for a while, keeping his built-in scouter keenly tracked on the village ahead. He assumed nobody would be coming this way, but he was proven wrong quite quickly. From afar, he could hear faint whistling behind him. Though his assumptions were incorrect, the reading he was receiving from the whistling person was quite interesting. It was much higher than the average human, even reaching the same level as that young saiyan boy from before.
"Power Level of 6,000? Interesting indeed. I'll keep my intentions hidden for now. Fighting this warrior along with that village may prove to be a more interesting endeavor," Breech thought to himself.
The whistling person finally caught up to Breech, revealing that he was also a Saiyan. He had the bushy, monkey-like tail, and the power to boot. What was interesting however, was the boys choice of clothing. It seemed quite casual, making Breech assume that this boy may be a simple traveller rather than a fighter.
The boy asked a simple question, wanting to know if Breech was headed the same way. Doctor Breech nodded, speaking in his usual, nearly monotone voice "I believe so. I assume you're heading to the gathering of notable power signatures not far from here?"

Raisu tilted his head, curious. The monotone sound of the man's voice did not sit well with Raisu. Maybe it was just a matter of what he was used too, but just the very cadence of it made Raisu feel uncomfortable. Still, he shouldn't judge. He'd met all sorts on the road, he was just another kind of person. But what he had said was even more curious. Could he sense Ki? He'd not met many others who could. In-fact, he'd only met one person who could aside from himself. And that was the person who taught him how. Was the skill more widespread than he had thought? It was possible, he had to admit. Raisu certainly was not the most worldly person, so he couldn't say for sure. It would not be the first time he'd been surprised on this little journey of his. It seemed he had a bit to learn about the world.
And even more curious was the fact that this man seemed to have no Ki signature himself. Raisu walked in silence for a few moments, and closed his eyes, focusing on the man in his mind. He shook his head, confused. Nothing. Nothing at all. Now, if he were an average man, he would not be surprised. Weaker signatures could be hard to sense. But from a man who could sense Ki in his own right? He didn't know what to think.
It occurred to Raisu that the man had asked a question. He nodded slowly, and began to speak, "Yeah, I am. Figured I might stop there for the day."
He walked for a few more seconds. He spoke up again, "So, you can sense Ki?"

The walk was mostly silent, which, while surprising, was alright with Breech. He watched the boy with his peripheral vision, keeping his eyes straight ahead to avoid raising further suspicion. It seemed the young boy was trying to sense Breech's ki, sadly for the both of them, he would sense nothing. This would most likely cause some possible issues to arise, unless of course Breech revealed the fact that he was mechanized. For now however, he would continue to keep his robotic self a hidden fact.
Trying to keep the conversation away from himself, Breech began speaking of the village they were headed to "I hear this village houses many powerful warriors. Apparently many nomadic wanderers come here at one point or another to test themselves." Of course, what Breech said was information he didn't actually have any basis in. It was a fib, a lie, or in other words, incorrect information. Though what he said could be true, he didn't know it himself. "Is that why you're headed this way, to test yourself?"
The Boy posed a question, asking if Breech could sense ki. He stayed silent for just a moment, thinking of how exactly to answer. Simply saying he had a scouter built into his head would most likely instantly tip off the boy, but otherwise he might have to come up with a grand story explaining where he learned it. Deciding to keep it simple, Breech answered vaguely. "...you could say that, yes."
Trying to divert the conversation once again, Breech posed yet another question. "So...what's your name?"

The man was vague. A little vague for Raisu's tastes, but the man seemed not to want to pursue it, instead asking questions of himself. But the mention of powerful warriors was interesting to Raisu. He'd not had much of a chance to test them lately. In fact, most of the people he'd met so far could not give him a challenge. Perhaps someone in the village could? Not that he had sensed any major ki signatures, though it occurred to Raisu that they could be suppressing their energy. Much like Raisu himself could. As he should have been doing. He'd been careless. You couldn't be too careful these days, or it would seem that in Raisu's case, you couldn't be careful at all. Raisu briefly wondered if the man had sensed him, and if he did, what he thought of him. Raisu briefly wondered exactly how he stacked up to other people the man had met.
But he had asked him a question. His name? He hesitated. There was something oddly off putting about this man. Between his tone and the dodging of questions... Raisu shook his head. He was probably overthinking things. Yes, that was it. And besides, it was only his name. What was the harm in that? He grinned, slowly.
"The name's Raisu. Just traveling, though now that you mention, it might be worth my time to test my skills."
He nodded. Yes. That would be a good way of being. Never a wrong time to try his hand at new opponents. He looked back at the man.
"How about you? Your name?"

It seemed the boy was more comfortable with sharing information than Breech was. He revealed his name as Raisu. While the name seemed strange to the doctor, he wasn't going to mention it anytime soon. It was then that the boy posed the same question to Breech. The mechanized doctor contemplated whether or not he should reveal that information. He surmised it was only fair, especially because Raisu seemed to be much too young to know who he was anyways. Stopping his movement briefly, Breech gave a simple, yet purposefully slow bow to the young boy.
"I suppose its only fair for me to say it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. The names Breech, Doctor Breech Aris."
Raisu might recognize the name. But he would have to have done some extensive research on Capsule Corp and its endeavors 30 or so years ago. Breech might be famous to others in his line of work, but to anyone not in the know, they might barely recognize his name as showing up in a few newspapers a decade or so ago, mentioning the oddity that was his sudden disappearance with surprising lack of comment from Capsule Corp employees.
A faint beep signaled to Breech that they weren't far from the village now. Raisu would probably hear it, and if he knew anything about scouter tech he'd most likely recognize the sound being from such a device. It might come off as odd, but hopefully Raisu wouldn't pay much attention to it.
"Looks like we've arrived much faster than I had expected," as he said this, he pointed to the village which was no more than a few hundred feet away. "I suppose we should introduce ourselves..." With that, Breech picked up his pace, most likely arriving in the village quicker than Raisu.
The village proper was a very average place. There were small houses littered around here and there, with a large well-like fountain in the middle of everything. Kids were running around and playing, while men and women alike were scattered about, tending to livestock or generally engaging in some type of work activity. A small group of young men were doing light morning exercises at the edge of the village, meaning they were farthest from where Breech had entered the village.
Placing his hands behind his back, Breech addressed the village in its entirety "Greetings civilians. I am here to speak with your leader, may I please be directed to where he currently resides?"
One of the younger males, a spry young fellow wearing a white Fighing Gi and sporting a Power Level of 300, approached Breech. He spoke in an excited, welcoming tone "Hello there sir! Welcome to Shimushi Village! I can take you to the elder if you like, just follow me." The young man turned to lead.
Before Breech followed along, he waited for Raisu. Offering to let him follow along. "Raisu, we traveled all the way here, would you like to accompany me to speak with the elder? I can understand if you'd rather not."
If Raisu decided to tag along, they'd both follow the boy to the elders house. If Raisu refused however, Breech would go on his lonesome.
((Doesn't matter which choice you make really. Either you stay in the village proper and engage with some NPCs you can write yourself, or you can tag along and engage in a brief chat with the NPC elder I'll be writing for.))

Raisu nodded as the man revealed his own name. A doctor? Not exactly what he'd expected to meet on the road, but life is full of surprises. Doctor Breech Aris... He made a mental note of the name. Maybe that explained why he could sense ki, he thought. After all, doctors were supposed to be smart and know a lot of things. Maybe the ins and outs of ki were one of them? It would make some sort of sense to Raisu, and that might even be why he was headed towards the ki signatures. For... doctor-y reasons. Yes, that was probably it. It was the only thing that made sense to Raisu now.
Raisu's ears perked at the faint beep that seemed to originate from the doctor. The faint electronic noise filled the air between them, but Raisu paid it no special mind. Surely, it was some kind of electronic messenger. It only made sense for a doctor to have one on him at any time, though Raisu did briefly wonder why the doctor paid it no mind. Perhaps he'd not heard it? The man did look old, and maybe his hearing was starting to fade. Or, perhaps he simply ignored it, for his own reasons. For a few moments, Raisu weighed pointing it out in his head, on the chance that the good doctor had not heard it. No, he thought, if he had heard it, he might take offense to Raisu pointing it out. And of course, the doctor would surely check his messages later. He was a doctor, he would certainly be mindful of such things.
Raisu looked at the man again. He didn't look like a traveler, at least not like the rest of the vagabonds and drifters Raisu had met along the way. Perhaps he was just making a house call, or he had temporary business in the village. Which again, made plenty of sense to him.
They'd arrived in the village, various people and buildings scattered about. It was a pleasant village, he decided. Maybe he'd spend a few days here, getting to know the locals. Spend a little time with the young group of men who were exercising. He felt ki signatures emanating from them after all, when he focused. They must have been the ones he felt. The good doctor mentioned introducing themselves, and within moments, one of the trainees approached them. He called this place Shimushi Village, and extended an offer to take the doctor to the village elder.
The doctor waited and looked at Raisu, asking if he would come along. Raisu nodded. If he were going to stay here a few days, he should most definitely introduce himself. "Sure," came his answer, "I'll tag along."

Whereas most men would probably smile at Raisu for taking offer of tagging along, Breech continued to keep his stone-faced expression. It was even a bit unsettling for the young man who was offering to lead them, but to avoid being rude he didn't try mentioning it. He was an old man after all, old and weak, seeing as no energy was coming from him. Breech might come off as odd, but his aged appearance definitely worked to his advantage. Nobody expects the elderly man with a tall hat to secretly be a villain.
"Very well then, let's get going. Young Fellow, lead the way when you are ready."
The young man in the Gi nodded, walking at a brisk pace towards a slightly larger house compared to the rest. The house, while impressive compared to the others around, seemed quite worn. It must have been built ages ago, yet it still stood strong. It was a testament to human tenacity, and one that wouldn't stand much longer. Breech could only detect a single life form inside, resting casually at a Power Level of 1,500.
Stopping at the front door, the young man turned and spoke "Here we are! It's a beauty isn't it? Elder Shimu built it with his own two hands 5 Years ago!" The young man seemed proud to tell the brief history of the house. With an awkward cough, the man turned and knocked on the door of the house. Within a few moments, a weathered old man opened the door from inside.
Though it was apparent that time had not been kind to Shimu, he was still much stronger than everyone else in the village. His bushy white beard and hunched over posture only added a bit of a goofy air to the situation. Shimu placed his hands behind his back and spoke warmly to his two guests "Welcome to Shimushi village. My name is Shimu. I heard you were looking for me, Mister..."
"Breech. Breech Aris. It's a pleasure to meet you Shimu."
Shimu seemed wary of Breech when he heard the name. There might have been some history between the two, but if there were, it was hard to tell what exactly had happened before now. Shimu nodded, presenting a faux smile as he responded. "Likewise, friend." The two old gentlemen shook hands, and Shimu turned his attention to Raisu.
"Hello there young one, may I ask of your name as well?"
After Raisu's response, Shimu would beckon the two of them inside to sit down for a cup of tea. Breech would follow the Elder quickly.
The inside of the house looked as ancient as the outside. Though it wasn't dusty or run down, it just had an air of age to it. Shimu sat down at a small table, motioning for the two guests to sit on the opposite side. Breech took the seat on the right, motioning for Raisu to take the left seat should he wish to sit down.
Shimu smiled once more "You caught me at a good time, I was just sitting down for some tea. Would the two of you like some?"
The Elder offered the two guests some tea, but Breech refused politely. Though Shimu thought it odd, he didn't press the matter. If Raisu accepted the offer, Shimu would pour him some tea.
Shimu sat in a more relaxed posture as he finished pouring himself tea. Taking a sip, he let out a sigh of relief. After his sip, he turned to Breech and spoke in a curious tone "So then, what exactly brings you to my humble village?"
Breech waved his hand dismissively. "It's quite rude to ignore your other guest. Why not ask Raisu first?"
Shimu gave a confused, but seemingly knowing nod. Turning to Raisu, he asked a similar question "Well, seeing as your friend seems to want to let you take the reigns in this conversation, what brings you here to my village?"

The two walked for some time before being brought to the house of the village elder. It was a worn looking house, but to hear that the man had raised it himself? It was an impressive feat, nonetheless. Inside, a ki signature brushed against Raisu's mind. Large, compared to the other people of fighting status in the village. Massive, compared to the average person. Raisu imagined a large man, aged but still an imposing figure.
As it were, life was less impressive than imagined images. The man inside was the inverse of what Raisu had expected. Weathered and a white beard, hunched over. This was the man whose energy he had felt. This was the elder, Shimu. Still, one should not judge a book by its cover, or so he told himself. How many times in his own life had be been considered small and unimpressive? Too many to count. And how many times had somebody who seemed unimpressive surprised him? Well, in truth, significantly less, but he could certainly name one he'd encountered today: Doctor Breech. He'd not expected the good doctor to sense Ki. Yes, to judge someone on first looks was silly. A man of massive stature could be less formidable than a child. Still, preconceived notions were hard to dismiss.
The two older men exchanged words briefly, and Raisu was glad to hear the elder Shimu's voice. It had a certain warmth too it, a stark contrast to Breech's cold, even tones. And Shimu had asked him his name. Clearing his throat, Raisu spoke, "Hello, sir. My name is Raisu."
The man nodded, and beckoned for them to sit. A kind gesture, and Raisu's legs were glad to take a break. The dust of the trail hemmed his jeans and covered his shoes. He brushed at his legs softly, chasing what dirt he could from them. He could go a while longer without washing them, he decided. Perhaps at the next stream he came across, he'd take the chance to bathe. One could only imagine the horror his mother would be struck with she could she him now. It'd been some time since he'd called her. She was always the worrywart, at least when he was a child. He tapped the ground, his fingers bouncing against the floor erratically. He'd have to ask if they had a phone later.
The elder offered tea, and Raisu leaped at the chance. He nodded his thanks energetically, and took a long sip of the tea. The drink was hot, boiling even, but against Raisu's trail-parched throat, it was as refreshing as a spring rain. His head must be empty, for he forgot to stock up on water in the last town. He'd buy from the locals later, but for now, he was glad to have this tea.
The two engaged in converse again, even more briefly as Breech had deflected the conversation to him. What had brought him here?
"Well," Raisu began, "I'm wandering. I was coming here to maybe stay the night, but the doctor here mentioned people came here to fight. I think I might do the same."

Post by Dr. Breech on Aug 2, 2015 21:20:31 GMT
Shimu listened with curiosity. Raisu mentioned he was simply a wanderer, but he might stick around to fight. The elder smiled as he began speaking "Rest or rumbling, you can find both here! We've got a few villagers who would be more than happy to take you in for the night should you need it, and our small village also houses a small group of fighters, one of which brought you here. I'm sure they'd be more than delighted to help spar, despite your advantage in strength." Shimu's statement implied he could sense Ki as well, though it could also simply be considered a compliment based on Raisu's looks.
Unable to ignore the elephant he perceived to be in the room, Shimu turned his attention back to Breech, who was sitting calmly. His cheery demeanor was replaced by a serious one as he addressed Breech. "Now that I've learned of Raisu's intentions, I still need to know yours. What brings you here...Doctor?"
What might be jarring is that Breech never mentioned his doctor status to Shimu. Doctor Breech chuckled, responding with a prideful tone in his voice "Well done Shimu, I didn't expect you to remember me after all these years. We'd only met a few times before. Was it your brother, Beekah, who told you of my exploits?"
"I know most of what has happened to you, what still puzzles me is why I cannot sense your Ki. What have you done to yourself?"
"Let's just say I've made a few improvements to the base model."
The room grew silent for a moment as Shimu processed what he had just heard. Breech was a kind soul in his younger years, but now he held himself with an air of elitism. Something wasn't right, perhaps Breech finally cracked the code and made himself an android?
Breech stood up from the table, clearly no longer interested in idle chatter. He spoke in his normal, cold tone once more "Well, if you remember who I am...then you know what I want don't you? Your piece of the Resillium Core. Give it to me."
Shimu stood as well, his face filled with fury. "I don't know what you're talking about Breech! Get out of here before I have to do something we'll both regret!"
A look of disappointment etched onto Breech's face. He'd rather have had this go smoothly, but Shimu was a resilient bastard, so he'd have to do this the hard way.
"It seems your mind might have lost a few bits of information...I know you have that piece of the Resillium Core, so I'll just have to take it by force..."
Breech's eyes began glowing, filled with a violet energy. Shimu yelled angrily, but it was too late. Breech's attack shot forward, a thin beam of violent energy. It shot through Shimu's chest and hit the back wall, causing a violent explosion that blew away most of the house. Smoke and fire corrupted the calm summer skies as panic and confusion spread amongst the village.
Breech walked calmly through the burning building, searching for the piece of tech he came here for.

Raisu grinned. He was glad to hear he'd be welcome, both to sleep and fight. Though, his offhand comment about a clear advantage in strength took him by surprise. Could he sense ki, too? It would not surprise Raisu if he did, given the elder's own far above average ki signature. He must be able too. After all, Raisu, while fit looking, was not much more impressive than the other men outside. In truth, many underestimated the lithe young man. Or perhaps it was the clues of his Saiyan heritage that tipped him off. Raisu, however, suspected Shimu could, in fact, sense ki. Why, he asked himself, did he bother learned to suppress his ki if he never did. He'd need to remember to do that. His old teacher would have his head if her training went to waste on him. Some would say it already has. Still, Raisu was glad to be met with such hospitality. It made the road worth traveling.
But soon the atmosphere of the room turned harsh, as if a heavy weight hung between the doctor and the elder. In a way, the two were already stark opposites. Raisu carefully watched between the two. They'd met? The elder had a brother? And what were these exploits Breech had mentioned? Just who had Raisu met on the road? So many questions bounced across Raisu's mind, like beads in a child's toy.
And now the elder had mentioned the lack of ki coming from Breech, an oddity that even Raisu had noticed. The doctor's mystery grew by the minute, but soon he'd said something that made even less sense to Raisu in the moment. What was this about improvements to a base model? It was almost as if the doctor was talking about himself as if he were a machine! And then it clicked. A realization that sent a wave across so many synapses in his brain and a chill down his spine. The doctor was a machine. And, if Raisu was understanding him correctly, he'd made himself that way.
Breech mentioned something called a Resillium Core, something Raisu could only assume was like a computer or the like. The air in the room took on a sour feeling, and a feeling of impending disaster loomed on Raisu's mind, and only intensified as the elder began to shout. Raisu's heart began to beat erratically and his mind began to cloud. This did not bode well at well.
And everything seemed to stand still for just an instant as violet light began to fill Breech's eyes. Raisu began to gasp, but was cut off before long. The violet beams shot from his eyes in a flash, and the elder gave a shout. It did nothing to deter the blast of violet energy that cut through him like wet paper. Heat burned against Raisu's face as the fire explosion tore at the back of the house. Breech stood and walked calmly through the wreckage, as if the slaughter of an elder was a casual, daily occurrence for him. He seemed to be searching for something.
Raisu opened his mouth, but no sound came at first. Soon, he was able to shout a single word, a harsh, strained shout that cracked with the sound of youth, "Murderer!"
Raisu, still shocked, dragged himself to his feet, feeling a fire burning in his core, as if his blood were starting to boil. His eyes narrowed and his vision began to fog and become tunnel like. He clenched his jaw hard enough to hurt, but his mind was somewhere else. He screamed, an unintelligible noise of rage and charged. He vaulted over the wreckage, fast, ready to attack. He came up behind Breech, fist pulled back and ready to strike. He swung with his body, torso twisting with his fist aimed squarely at the back of Breech's head.
((Sorry, was at work. Also, time to see if I understand how combat work.))

Shuffling through the wreckage, Breech wondered why people attempted to resist him. In a world where Shimu had simply given up the Resillium Core, he would still be alive, and his house would be 100% intact. Instead, Shimu is now a corpse, and the building he spent decades fixing up was now a smoldering heap. Breech sighed outwardly as he kicked over a pile of wood. A small glint caught his eye, but a yell from behind forced him to turn. Raisu had yelled at Breech, insinuating that he was a murderer.
Breech gave a chuckle before turning around to continue his search "Murderer? He was not as innocent as you think. He was trying to obstruct progress! Once I find all of the pieces to the Resillium Core, I will become six times stronger! Isn't that amazing?"
He searched for that glint once again as Raisu let out an incoherent war cry. Breech smiled as he bent down to grab the item that was shining on the ground: The Resillium Core, or at least the outer casing. "Perfect...now I must--"
A mighty fist colliding with the back of his metallic cranium interrupted him. Breech was floored, literally. His metallic frame slammed into the ground, embedding him into the wood. He ripped himself out of the ground and stood up, allowing a sickening sight to reveal itself. Breech's hat had fallen off, revealing that his brain was still there, only it was in a jar, floating amongst some type of green fluid. Breech reached for his hat, clicking it into place on his head as he eyed Raisu menacingly.
"I had hoped that you would attempt to engage in combat. This will be an excellent test of my abilities."
Breech placed his hands behind his back, with the piece of the Resillium Core still held tightly. He walked forwards, a scowl etched upon his face as he suddenly rocketed forwards.
The doctor attempted to ram into Raisu with his head. If the attack was successful, he would follow it up by swiveling his entire body around to aim a kick towards Raisu's midsection. If the kick hit its mark, Raisu would probably be sent back a bit.
Standing upright, Breech would address Raisu again "Your power is within 60% of mine. While that is an impressive feat, you won't win unless you have luck on your side."

As Raisu's fist slammed into the back of Breech's head, he felt a surge of primal satisfaction. His head was hard, like some kind of metal. It probably was metal, given the recent information that had come to light. Regardless, Raisu grinned as the man slammed into the ground, hard. Most people wouldn't be getting up from that, but Breech wasn't most people it seemed. Breech tore himself from the ground, the splintering sound of wood filling the room as he pulled himself up.
As Breech's hat toppled to the floor, a horror came to be, and Raisu's grin turned to scowl. Raisu, swallowed, resisting the urge to vomit. Atop of Breech's head sat a jar filled with a sickly green fluid that made Raisu think of illness. And inside, sat the brain of Breech. Perhaps it was a trick of the light and flames, but as Raisu stared, he could almost see the mass of gray matter twitching in it's dome.
The doctor leaned forward, reaching for his hat. Raisu could only stare as he lifted it over his brain and put it in place, the audible mechanical click of it popping back into place. He spoke, saying he'd hoped for this. A test of his abilities, apparently. Such disregard for life. Raisu clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white and popping in place. One hand hurt, the one that collided with the mechanical monster's head. He should have used an open palm, but he'd been blinded.
And soon, the doctor thrust forward with a headbutt. It crashed into Raisu's own head and his vision blurred as the mechanical skull bashed against hi. He staggered, trying to brace himself for a recovery. But a second blow came quick, a kick coming straight for his midsection. No time to dodge, Raisu tried to prepare himself for the blow. As it turns out, the old man was much stronger than he looked. The blow sent Raisu sliding back, and eventually falling back on his backside. He coughed, the wind in his lungs leaving him. He jumped back to his feet, and stared at Breech as he spoke again. What did he mean by Raisu's power only being sixty percent of his own? The difference was staggering.
Raisu coughed out his own sentence, a simple one of defiance, "Bite me."
He threw hi right arm in front of him, bringing the left up to his elbow to brace it. He gathered energy in his hand, a white glow emanating from his palm. A white bolt of energy shot forth from his palm, aimed squarely for Breech' chest.

((Sorry for the wait!))
Breech's robotic head slammed into Raisu's organic one, causing the young warrior to stumble painfully. Soon after, Breech swiveled around and delivered a punishing blow to Raisu's midsection, forcing him backwards and causing him to fall prone. Breech would have smiled, but the outcome of his assault was exactly according to his calculations, so instead he simply kept his stone-faced expression.
As a response to Raisu's odd choice of words, Breech raised his brow in confusion. He had never heard such a strange insulting phrase before, was he really that out of the loop? "I must say that is an abnormal request, but not everyone one has a normal last request..."
The young Saiyan brought his arms together, with the left arm giving the right elbow support. Suddenly, a brilliant display of light began to form in the boys palm. It seemed he was charging an attack! Breech scoffed as he brought his own arm up for retaliation. He began charging his own blast in the palm of his left hand, filling the room with an eerily familiar violet light.
"I wonder how you'll fair against this? My calculations suggest the outcome to be poor for you."
As the boys blast left his hand, so too did Breech's. A thick beam of violet shot forth, aiming to collide with Raisu's bolt. The two attacks smashed into each other, creating a shrill shrieking sound as energy pushed against energy. It was clear however, that Breech's attack was winning. Though Raisu's attack was holding on valiantly, Breech's was much too strong. It pushed the attack back, and any moment now both attacks would collide with Raisu...
