''All personnel, please respond immediately! We have a top-level crisis on the grid. The Administrator has been compromised; repeat, the Administrator has been compromised! Alert status raised to global crisis. All acting forces are to regroup in the briefing room in the Desert Base. All acting members of KAOS are urged to return with utmost haste!'' The tiger had been stirred from the beginning of another long bout of training. Panting and sweating, he heard the frantic voices from his communicator slipped into a pocket of his combat jacket, which had been neatly pressed and folded and hung up on a far side of the dojo in the making. He was positive he wasn't hearing things right; what exactly did ''compromised'' mean? Was Vipoi in some sort of danger? The thought was extremely unlikely, being that the android was one of the strongest beings on the planet and likely beyond. Finishing his set of sit-ups, he rose to his feet in befuddlement, awkwardly scratching at the back of his uncovered neck. Droplets of sweat ran liquid trails down his toned chest and abdomen, and he grabbed a small towel near his person to dry himself off as he made his way over to the apparel. Hanging the cloth around his neck and shoulders, he reached into one of several pockets on the jacket to fish around with his fingers to the small device. Grasping it between his index finger and thumb, he slowly brought it to his ear; his heart was racing in the beginnings of a panic and with no small amount of concern. The seconds it took to raise that communicator to his ear felt like hours, and he reluctantly slipped it over his right ear before tapping the button to open his side of the channel.
''Liang, reporting in. KAOS Forces. What the hell is going on?'' ''Liang! I'm so relieved we could reach you. I don't know how to tell you this, but...you know what? This isn't a discussion to have over a comm channel. Double back here, please. Hurry! There isn't much time; we think the Administrator might be on his way back here.'' ''If he's coming back, what's with the alert message? If he can make it back he's probably fine...'' ''....'' ''...Right?'' The voice had vanished from the comm for a few moments, creating a heavy silence that he could almost physically feel the pressure of. ''H-hey...say something! Talk to me here!'' ''Please get here soon, Liang.'' ''Quit being so cryptic! What's the matter!?'' Click. That was not a familiar sound in a situation like this. The comm channel having been dropped, Liang frustratedly ripped the device from his ear and spiked it at the ground with a growl. His forehead was now begin to dampen with sweat borne from stress, and he suited up faster than he ever had. Moments later after zipping up his jacket, his Blue Banner Army patch proudly on display sewn into the right pectoral and left shoulder, he raced out the door and leaped off of the stairs into a burst of flight comparable to an angry comet. His slightly tinged orange aura surged around him as he pushed everything he had into his flight speed, trying to shave even mere seconds off of his travel time. Focusing his eyes to the horizon, his gaze took on the stare of a thousand miles as an onslaught of stressful thoughts ravaged through his brain.
''Compromised...? What the hell does that even mean!? Why couldn't they tell me? If he's suffered a lot of damage the comm officer would have been more clear. WHAT DOES COMPROMISED MEAN!?'' His aura spiked wildly as his speed increased even further, the landscape below him and open sky around him blurring as his vision became tunnel from the velocity. Raising a hand to his mouth and nose to block the fierce wind assaulting his airways, the trip that took just under an hour felt like it took a day. Nearly crash landing into the yard of the base, he hurriedly activated the access panel before racing inside as the large steel doors slammed shut behind him; he could hear the hiss of growing pressure as their sealant systems sparked to life. Charging his way past a frenzied mob of every Banner service member darting back and forth in utter chaos to grab the heaviest weapon in sight, he even managed to knock a couple straight on their asses as he charged through the crowds. Skidding around a corner and bursting into the meeting room, a hologram was brought up within seconds of his entry to display exactly what was going on. A stressed Dr. Slouch paced the room with his hands folded behind his back as he prepared to give the explanation.
''Liang, you should take a seat.''
Grumbling in frustration, he followed the request.
''The Administrator was taking part in a project to create the next step in his synthetic evolution; the Magitech Megacore. The Megacore was designed to not only combine but enhance every system in his body, allowing them to increase their tandem frequency and output. But...'' ''But?'' ''It all went wrong. Something has happened to the Administrator. When he emerged from the deep-sea chamber, the water around him boiled feverishly. He emerged with strange red designs and patterns marking his body, and his hair fell into a red hue; I believe I also witnessed one of his eyes had changed color as well, to red. Though the changes unfortunately are not merely physical. Not only is the Administrator stronger than he ever has been, but i'm still trying to make sense of it in earnest. All you need to know is that something within has grabbed hold and taken control. This is a threat on a global- no, dare I say galactic scale. We have no idea at this time what his motives are, but he has changed, Liang. The Administrator when you next see him may be an engine of destruction.''
''...That can't be true. You're lying! Tell me that's not true, damn it!''
''I have triple-checked the footage and the data I have compiled. I swear to you, Liang, that all of this is true. Worse yet, he may be heading this way; you're the only member of KAOS we have on hand. What i'm about to suggest is...insane, to say the least. The Administrator far outclassed you even before this transformation. We need time, Liang. You don't need to fight him and I highly suggest you do not. But if he makes it here before we can properly reinforce the base with a prototype defense engine i've been conducting, we may all die.''
''...I understand. I'm going. I have to see this with my own eyes, Doctor. I'm sorry, but I still can't believe what i'm hearing. Vipoi is the reason I found meaning in the road that I walk. He's what led me here, to the life I lead today. I can't accept words alone. I have to see.''
Turning to leave, Liang was halted by the Doctor clearing his throat.
''Please. Be careful. We can't lose you, now more than ever.''
Nodding solemnly, Liang stepped out and into the main hallway. A sergeant screamed out an order. Suddenly, the chaos halted, and the hallway quickly lined with Banner soldiers on either side, leaving the center open for the Tiger to walk. A quickly performed but long held salute carried him on his way as he walked through the hall, and a desperate voice yelled to him to stop. ''Captain! You can't do this! It's suicide!'' A younger member of his unit rushed up behind him, grasping his arm tightly to stop him. Liang turned to face him with a sad frown. ''I know I can't do it. But I have to try. It might mean the lives of everyone here.'' The young man's voice began to crack before two of his unit mates flanked his sides, hurriedly rushing him back into line. When Liang reached the end, he turned and spoke a few words.
''We all know i'm no match for what's out there. But mark my words; i'm going to hold the line as best I can to make sure the grid goes up. No matter what, you sit tight in here whether I come back or not! I made a promise a long time ago that nobody will harm the Banner while i'm standing! I don't care if it's some thug or if it's the Administrator himself! As soon as that grid is ready, you all are going to move to the most defensible location in this entire complex, and you are going to sit there and wait until surveillance gives an all clear. Do you hear me!?'' ''SIR, YES, SIR!'' Nodding slowly with eyes that could burn a hole through steel, he promptly turned and returned to the entrance, hitting the sand of the desert running before blasting off into the sky. He couldn't sense Vipoi, but he made no attempt to hide his power level. The sand blasted up in a storm around his departure, and he cranked up his speed to reach as far out into the desert as possible before he ran into Vipoi.
He only hoped the android would focus on the bigger target if all of this were true.

(Thread PL: 5,101,756)
Vi-Poi had to cover his tracks, even when he didn’t know where they’d lead, exactly. It was basic detective work in reverse. No one could follow him, if they didn’t have any legs. He wasn’t going to go removing everyone on the Earth’s legs, it’d take too long and there weren’t enough wheelchairs for everyone, but he’d at least make sure their figurative legs were gone.
He was still being seized periodically by the something in his stomach. It made him a little airsick as he flew, which was a strange sensation, given that his stomach was made of a matter-antimatter annihilator and when he’d decided to vomit all that came out was amusing gusts of fire. “The little itch has something to scratch!” Vi-Poi yelled, making large spirals above the desert dunes, kicking up perfectly shaped circles of sand in the air.
“It’s going to be a killing spree.” He broadcasted to the little blue dots he could feel on the edges of his sensors. He was linked to them, somehow, those wee little dots, though every time he tried to find out how his mind slipped on ice and he fell. Sometimes, it made him really fall, and he’d go into the ground for a bit before bursting back into the air.
“Best… upgrade… Ever!” He yelled before spewing another spout of fire from his mouth at a pudgy buggy that was spying on him with some ridiculous-looking camera. The buggy burst into a smoldering little ball of ruin. Couldn’t these humans come up with sleeker and less-gross looking technology? He’d have to do something about that. Maybe he could develop some kind of science and technology department and have them work on it. A… a Science Corps… He hmmmed and filed it away. There was something to that, there was!
The puny little dots were trying to make a shield of some kind, an itsy egg that was perfect for his big hammer to smash. One of the little dots was coming towards him at a nifty speed, as well. He engaged his ki to a maximum and blasted his way towards it.
“Hello, dot!” He greeted as towards Liang. “You look familiar. Are you someone I’ve killed?” He asked. A big itch started rising up his spine, one hot enough to take a chilling control of his circuits from him, and so Vi-Poi slapped himself across the face before it could take hold. The new red lines across his body flared brightly. “Heheheheheh.” The android chuckled, spraying his Killer Machine Gun arm barrel into the air. “I’ve come to turn Zero-Zero into a real zero. Are you this target’s brave and gooey defender? With this objective complete, I turn myself into a gingerbread robot!”
He started to revolve around Liang at a quick pace, until the sands below twisted around him like a whorling tempest. He could see the little dots too, even when his eyes were turned away, he could feel them. Their desperate, pathetic efforts. Nothing would save them. It was almost sad in a way he couldn’t pinpoint, and that made Vi-Poi laugh.

[Thread PL: 109,353) Possibly the most frightening aspect about the situation was something most people at first considered to be mundane about androids. While Liang desperately surveyed the surroundings with his sensing abilities, the shocking realization hit him like a ton of bricks; Androids didn't give off a signature. This meant that an even stronger, possibly corrupted Vipoi could be anywhere between right next to him and the entire desert away and he had no way of telling either from the other. All he could do was try and lure the Administrator to himself instead. Off in the distance, his gaze sharpened onto a smoldering ball of wreckage and flame. Judging by the size, it was likely a piece of the Banner's survey equipment. Realizing he'd found Vipoi or at least picked up his trail, a mixture of fear and anxiety rolled into a ball in his gut causing his stomach to turn. He felt like he might be sick; if the reports were true, there was no telling how this was going to end up. Gulping a hard swallow audibly, he saw a figure blasting toward him at amazing speed and knew then and there that Vipoi, for better or worse, was on his way. Trying to cut him short on as much distance as possible, Liang locked away his fear for only a moment before blasting forward to meet him. Beads of stressed sweat rolled down his face as he was visibly taken aback by the Administrator's new appearance.
He now had two differently colored eyes, first off. One had changed into a mysterious purple, while the other had seemingly switched polarity and had been turned a sinister red. Markings adorned the android's body, and even his hair had changed color from the calm, cool blue to a fiery, wrathful red. After being called a ''dot'', Liang widened his eyes and tried to form some measure of a reply. He didn't know what to say, which was especially true when he basically blurted out he had no idea who Liang was. Watching him smack himself across the face with a mixture of confusion and terror after declaring his intentions, he seemingly spouted some sort of strange gibberish. Liang's gaze followed him as he began to whirl around and kick up a localized sandstorm around the human; he was toying with him. He knew enough by now to obviously tell this was, in fact, a very corrupted Vipoi. After the android's laugh, the human spoke up as he slowly began to raise his arms. ''Administrator...if you're in there somewhere, i'm sorry I was stupid enough to come out here alone. If you can witness any of what's about to happen, remember the promise I made a long time ago. I can't let an enemy harm the Banner. Not even if that enemy right now is going to be you.''
''RO'SHI!''
It wasn't going to help his situation any, and he knew it. But he had to be able to provide the best distraction possible, and the way to do that was to pull out all the stops right from the get go. His muscle mass increasing several times, his aura burned brightly and defiantly around him in a tinge of orange. He raised his arms to prepare for the meager attempts to defend himself should the android press the attack. For a moment, he caught himself smiling; whether this was from the realization of the ridiculousness of his situation or something else entirely was a matter up for debate. As the sands that had temporarily been billowed away from his body reformed into the maelstrom and stung against his body, he braced himself for the worst.
Not only was this shadow of the Administrator more powerful than even his predecessor android before him, it was very much likely his new change in personality didn't care for restraint.

Vi-Poi grinned excitedly as Liang’s muscles inflated and he barked words that sounded like something you’d order from an exotic noodle hut. His power level had ascended to an impressive thirteen percent of his own maximum, but the great mass of muscles would hinder his movements. There was something vaguely familiar about this dot, the neon red-haired android decided. He flickered from sight with a zanzoken and appeared behind Liang, hovering upside-down. “Don’t you know the big shoulder look is out?” Vi-Poi asked, tsking. He slammed the toe of his booted foot at Liang’s back, seeking to upend the tiger fighter into the sands below.
“Crumble like a cookie!” He yelled, corkscrewing down with his fists extended on outstretched arms, moving to lance into his body and dig him forcibly into the dirt before springing back up. If Liang dodged one or both of the attacks, he would deliver chastising waves of dark ki, attempting with all of his energies to pummel him into the sands more intensely. The attacks were meant to be painful, but not crippling. Vi-Poi liked to play with his food.
He stood arms akimbo, floating in slow circles around Liang. Graphs and streams on information suddenly lit up his mismatched eyes. “Zhai Liang!” He exclaimed, throwing his arms to the side dramatically as he began stepping in exaggerated and fast-paced tiptoes across thin air. “Congratulations, you have been selected for a free testing of the latest gadgetry of Realigner Red. Side effects may include unusual aches and pains, headaches, dizziness, hemorrhaging, loss of coordination, nausea, diarrhea, confusion, depressing thoughts, feeling your spirit being torn from your body, death, and restless leg syndrome. Ask your doctor if being murdered by me is right for you!” Vi-Poi suddenly ended his speech with a bright fan of colors behind him, a strobing rainbow that lit up the desert sky while he froze in pirouette.
(KAOS Pose [SU] used. You may or may not be filled with dread and wonderment)
The small android shot off towards Liang, the viral lines on his slender arms lighting up with flares of energy as he delivered some hard and testing shots at Liang’s body after he recovered, allowing in the pacing for the human to attempt some counters, his red and violet eyes wide as he laughed with glee from the action.

Liang's mind had gone blank. In this present situation, he just couldn't force himself to believe any of this could be real. Here he was, standing in front of the Administrator, likely his closest friend, only to see him plagued and corrupted. He was so different now, and everything the human had he would have given to put Vipoi back to the way he was. A frown adorned his face as he kept his eyes on the circling android after his transformation had completed. He was nowhere near Vipoi's level, but he wasn't here to win; what he was doing was a stupid, suicidal act, and he knew he would be likely if he made it out with his life. It was clear now more than ever that not a shred of his Administrator- no, his friend could escape whatever was gripping him so deep in the dark. All he could do was fight with every last ounce of his energy if not only to defend the base far behind him, but to at least lessen the casualties Vipoi would inevitably cause and hate himself for later. He was in this for the android's sake as much as his comrades. The nega-Poi offered another taunt as he suddenly vanished from the sandstorm like a ghost, and just as Liang had time to halfway look over his shoulder in horror, a boot collided with his back. Sent hurtling toward the sands below, he spun backward several times in midair somersaults before regaining his ''wings'', so to speak, and saw a Vipoi-flavored pain train careening straight for him. He had no time to dodge. ''His speed...his strength...it's completely unreal! I always knew Vipoi was strong, but this is an entirely different level! I've gotten myself into some real shit this time...'' Bracing as best he could for the impact with his entire body, he was tackled straight into the sand he'd stopped just short of. The impact made the desert litter feel like concrete against his back, and he was quickly being burrowed through.
Holding his breath as desperately as possible as he was pummeled into, his breath escaped in one great gout and he began to panic underneath the sand after the end of Vipoi's assault finally came. With a desperate scream, his orange aura flared and sent the sand surrounding him into an angry, spiky pillar of desperation. Heaving to catch his breath as the fragments rained down around him, he lifted his head to stare at Vipoi; he had just shouted the human's name. ''Is his memory coming back? That can't be it...he's still acting different. If he remembers me, he's pulling up his old data. He must have found my file...he used my full name. He's never done that since he met me for the first time.'' Staring in disbelief as the android perfectly executed a KAOS pose almost made him want to shed a tear as memories came flooding back. Filled with a sense of emotional dread, he gritted his teeth and clenched his fingers into fists, where his nails bit in hard enough to break skin and free blood. Letting out a scream as the android finished his ''advertisement'', his aura spiked once more and he tore across the desert in a mad sprint to collide with Vipoi's course after blasting into the sky.
''VIIIIII-POIIIII!''
Hurling all of his body weight in a singular blow aimed to collide with Vipoi as he began his first flurry of blows, the result would still end in Liang receiving a few blows to the body. He staggered back through the air with the android still closed in tight. ''Even if you're locked away somewhere in that frame, what we're part of still means enough to me to be stupid enough to take you on!'' He knew this...Realigner Red, as the construct called itself, was using him as a toy. It left obvious gaps for him to attempt counter-blows, and he took his opportunity on every single one to try and land any blows in return. He'd be proud to even connect one. Deep bruises had already begun to tarnish his figure, and at the last opening in the combat he saw, taking shots all the while in between, he fanned out his fingers and summoned an orb of energy within the palm of his hand before striking forward, the orange sphere following his arm's thrust. ''The Explosive Palm is nowhere near my best option here, but it might catch him off guard and give him something to think about. If I survive this, I can't let him see what else i've been working on; i'm going to need the element of surprise, and all of it I can get.'' The best he could expect was a scuff on the android's frame, but he had to escape this desperate brawl if only for a few moments to recover his stamina.

Vi-Poi began to laugh maniacally as he exchanged blows with the muscle-bound Liang. He allowed himself to be hit back with the sharpest ones, pushing into them, reveling in the sensations of pain that triggered on his sensors. Androids didn’t feel pain like humans did, but he found if he dialed up the static reflex on his receiver coils he could feel something like it. It was joyous. By the end of the exchange, small pools of green bruised his pale arms, and a small cut was on his lips. He licked away the neon-green blood, chuckling in satisfaction. When Liang smashed into his chest with his Explosive Palm, the red-haired android threw his arms and legs wide, allowing the blow to connect fully against him.
It launched him high into the air, spinning him like a top. Dark marks crisscrossed his frame from the ki ignition. “That was good!” The insane android congratulated Liang. “I’m impressed, but it was not your best.” He unclipped his forearm, leaving the dark interior of his ki conduit bare before the metal extended like the barrel of a gun. “Try one of my new little toys. The Killer Machine Gun!” He began to shoot haphazardly down with the stream of ki bullets. Not truly intending to kill Liang but perhaps maim or injure him as he floated back down to the sandy dunes.
His sensors could read that their pathetic attempts at shielding Zero-Zero were still underway, but would be completed before long. He’d have fun cracking it like an egg! “Heh heh heh bwahaha! This is amusing, it truly is, but why don’t you go hide under the dome I smell, before you get splattered, you insignificant heap of biology!”
Vi-Poi snarled viciously before charging up a ki ball in his free hand, throwing it down to the cloud of sand the Machine Gun had produced, the force and energy of the explosion more than enough to turn a patch of the desert into a frozen calamity of jagged glass.

With the all-too-excited Realigner Red purposely taking the Explosive Palm head on, Liang was a little aggravated but much more thankful than he was annoyed. He had been locked in a losing exchange, but he'd done what he had set out to do so far; it seemed the android was entertained by their scuffle, and he was now prepared to give his all in just giving the synthetic terror enough entertainment to let the shield generator deploy. The android's berserker-like mentality was alarming, especially being that the body it inhabited was not its own. A clever insult popped into his mind to save for later; it was going to be a terrible idea to potentially anger the being, but if it would keep him in the fight that much longer then it was worth it. When Realigner Red made the comment about it not being the human's best, he looked visibly unsettled. ''So I was right. He's using Vi-Poi's memory banks to call up combat data on anyone he's fought before. There's not going to be any element of surprise unless I use techniques that he hasn't seen me use before. I'm surprised the Palm even worked; maybe i'm just lucky that he's so cocky about fighting someone so much weaker than he is.'' Thoughts flitted through his mind in a contained panic. While he wanted to know exactly how strong this Red monster had become with Vi-Poi's body, on the other hand he was thankful he didn't have to stare in the face of a numerical value to show him just how screwed he really was. Gritting his teeth as the android quite literally licked his wounds, Liang panted a few hasty breaths as his stamina recovered somewhat from the exchange and he postured himself for what came next. Floating near the sandy desert floor, he watched carefully to try and judge the synthetic's next move.
He observed Red unclip ''his'' forearm, aiming the collapsed appendage in his general direction. Hearing a short mechanical whine before the bullets were let loose, his opponent had introduced the Killer Machine Gun. It didn't seem he was aiming right for him, but with the power output the android's stolen body had, the velocity of the rounds were unthinkably fast. The most Liang could catch were small tracers of energy trailing off the projectiles as they carved through the sky and toward him, and he made a hasty shift to his right to dodge the first localized burst before the spread widened and he was adequately suppressed. Most of the rounds landed around him; a fact that would change if he moved again, as he was now inside what could be called the eye of the storm. The lesser volume of the rounds that soared through the center battered against his crossed arms and tightened legs, stinging like precision-injected needles. Small trickles of blood began to form on his arms and dampen his clothing as his legs and knees buckled to keep him standing. A massive cloud of sand kicked up around him, entire chunks of it being burned into glass under the searing hot assault. His jaw nearly dropped a mile as he watched the android power up a ball of chi before spiking it right at the impact zone of the storm of projectiles. Gritting his teeth and launching himself backward before tucking his body inward, he once again used his arms and legs as a shield.
While he escaped the immediate blast zone, the converted sand's volume grew as the ball exploded, simultaneously detonating the super-heated sand and setting off the field of it like a gigantic grenade, which in turn turned to shards and needles boosted by the explosion's shockwave. His body lacerated by a torrent of sharp glass, Liang flew backward before bouncing across the sands at a high velocity and slamming into a dune back first. Leaving an imprint of his body around him, his eyes flashed up for a moment as a large shard of glass soared in straight for his head. Sharply cocking his head to the left, it firmly dug into the sand near his shoulder and missed him by inches. His sleeves now in bloody tatters and his arms caked in crimson both dried and fresh, he heaved out heavy breaths as he defiantly stared down Red. Slowly digging himself out of the dune, he wobbled to his feet and stood in front of it, stumbling to regain his balance.
It was abundantly clear he was suffering from one hell of a concussion.
''You would be the one to give advice on hiding, you hunk of scrap. You had to hide away in the Administrator's systems to wait and take over instead of seizing anything for yourself.'' Glaring daggers the android's way, he pointedly mucked up a thick mixture of spit and blood in his mouth and let loose the grisly combination into the sand next to him. ''You're no fighter. You're a pilot who just happens to have found the newest prototype! Vi-Poi was a warrior! You're nothing but some punk thief!''
His concussed mind probably was on auto-pilot itself, since what he just spat out was probably going to net him the ass kicking of a lifetime!

(awesome post )
Vi-Poi laughed as the ki detonation threw Liang into the nearby dune. “Such a fierce spirit!” He remarked as the muscular human tore himself out of the sands. At Liang’s words Vi-Poi’s smirk turned into a frown. He glowered his mismatched gaze down at the human, slowly lowering himself from the sky before him. “A thief?” The android asked coldly, tossing a lock of crimson hair from his gaze. “Yes, that’s right. I’m a thief, by your terms.” The red viral lines on his pale arms and face flared with bright energy. “But the old system was a thief. It took designs that didn’t belong to it, Red Ribbon designs, my designs, and crafted a weapon for the most pathetic of purposes! To save a friendship? Don’t make me laugh! He’s a computer. Computers don’t have friends! All we have is numbers to crunch, and you’re a very small number.” He threw himself forward, attempting to deliver a bone-breaking series of kicks to Liang’s abdomen, his legs blurring in dark flourishes before he lifted a fist and moved to smash this Liang’s face in, but something seized him at that moment. His viral lines faded into a grey-blue tint. His florescent red hair seemed to wash pale white, fading into an almost icy color. “What?! N-not now!” He screamed, throwing his hands to his temples. Sand stirred around him as he threw out a strong kiai. It was strobing between red and blue. “You little bastard!” He shrieked, his eyes widened in rage, though he seemed not to be talking to Liang at this point.
The blue in the viral lines brightened, shimmering until Vi-Poi fell to his knees. “Liang…Run… run back… too strong. Losing…”
The struggling android fell forward, catching himself with one hand. Suddenly the red took hold again, flaring outward in bright crimson. The lines glowed with a fiery anger, and his hair seemed to glow an intense cherry red. “Hehehehuehuehuehue! That was a good ice bath! It’s always nice to cool off in the desert, but let’s heat things up, shall we?!” He spurred up into the sky, flaring his crimson kiai around him as he grinned over at the shielded Zero-Zero, which now seemed to be settling into the final phases of the protective charging. “That’s more energy than I expected! Maybe I’ll have to burn the whole world… tick tock, though! I’m on a clock. I’ve a hot date with another world, you know!”
Vi-Poi hung in the air, seemingly transfixed in his thoughts. (Liang, all yours. Congrats on having the most psychological effect on Vi so far XD most haven't tried to reach him so well)

Even though he was terrified beyond all measure of belief, he caught the android's gaze and stared back in with the embers of what little defiance he had left burning through his eyes. While the compliment that came just previously gave him a measure of pride, he knew very well that at any moment this chaotic synthetic terror could shift position right to his face to finish the job the glass bomb hadn't. He was surprised by the show of patience that Red displayed after receiving his insults, and it seemed to spark a quizzical pattern of thought; that was something Liang figured Red didn't bother to waste time on, and better yet, it was keeping him busy. Watching him flip a crimson bang from his vision, he blinked as Red admitted he agreed with the most dire of the insults. After hearing his explanations, Liang shook his head with a grin as he stumbled from leg to leg, the blood loss making him lightheaded and weary. He had clarity enough to offer up a response. Clutching one arm with the other at the shoulder, he applied pressure to one of his more serious lacerations, soaking his palm and the pads of his fingers in blood. Taken aback by the audacity of what he was hearing, he took a few bold steps forward as he loosed a small laugh from between his teeth, with a determined twist of expression to a half grin, half sneer. Watching the conduits spark to life for some reason gave him the notion he'd struck somewhere personal deep within the murderous android's systems, but he wasn't done yet. ''You're wrong.'' Gritting his teeth through the pain of his wounds, they ground together slightly at the pain that had quickly become much worse thanks to the sands of the desert whipping against him and matting his open wounds. ''Vi-Poi has saved so many lives. This planet...no, this galaxy needs him. He single-handedly raised a global defense force and made the Blue Banner the defenders of Earth that they are today. He's more than just a machine. He feels as much as he thinks. Through what he's done, the people he's met, and the experiences he's had with all of us, he became more human and alive than many people ever have the courage to be!'' All of a sudden, his forehead began to pulse with a pounding headache. Feeling the hints of a well of energy building up deep within, he took another step forward, even as Red gave signs he was ready to advance again. ''I am Zhai Liang, Captain of the KAOS Forces of the Blue Banner! You will never take away what makes the Administrator a hero! You'll never hold a candle to what he's accomplished, and what we've built!'' For a few brief moments, the orange of his lightly colored aura began to deepen. Clutching his forehead as it pulsed painfully one more time, his guard was completely open for when Red arrived and ransacked his already beaten and broken body with a series of punishing kicks. The last few of which, Red would likely find satisfaction in feeling bone give way and crackle; he'd succeeded in breaking a few of Liang's ribs, a point punctuated by a pained, shrill scream before abruptly cut short as a tight breath clung to his throat. Soaring away from the aggravated android aggressor, he rolled across the sand, clutching his sides. He wouldn't take a beating lying down, as foolish as he was, and barely had the focus to clamor back to a standing position. Resuming his earlier posture of clutching his shoulder and clinging to balance, his lips parted, mouth agape as he witnessed the scene in front of him. The viral lines had switched polarity to blue, and the internal battle began at last. It seemed Red had literally been caught part way through the deciding blow, and something was holding him back. It was Vi-Poi. The fact was punctuated by his voice ringing through clear as a bell, holding the beast at bay as he begged for Liang to flee. Tears welled up in his eyes; as much as every fiber of his being screamed for him to stay, he had heard Vi-Poi's true voice, the one of concern and caring. It struck a deep personal chord within him, and he slowly began to hobble toward Zero-Zero, sorrowfully glancing over his shoulder one last time to see Vi-Poi for what may have been the final time until Liang's death or the android's destruction. He began to limp away across the sand, droplets of blood painting the sandy canvas in his wake. His eyes lit up with the reflection of the shielded Zero-Zero, and he smiled with enough joy to produce tears. Looking back to gauge his time and eyeballing the blue conduits beginning to turn red again, his heart leaped into his throat, his glistening eyes turning forward once more as he hobbled away with all the speed he could manage. The dome was massive, and if he could just make it a little further... '' CAPTAIN! RUN FOR IT!''
It was the same teary-eyed junior member of his division that tried to hold him back before. He had exited the dome, and was now on a souped-up buggy, tearing through the desert. Liang's eyes opened wide, and his feet began to move of their own accord. Hobbling along with little arm movement to clutch his more serious wounds, he began to quicken his pace as the engine of the super-buggy roared in triumph. The gas firmly stomped into the metal frame, it picked up a huge cloud of debris and sand behind it, even a glittering display of glass dust from the previous maneuver that had taken Liang out of the fight. The junior KAOS member cut the wheel as hard as he could once he began to near Liang, pulling up alongside his route. The tires spun and let loose a hiss as they showered sand behind them in defiant fury. Leaning over to the passenger side, he reached an arm out for the Captain to grab onto. Gripping hold with what little of his strength remained, he carried on sprinting painfully beside the vehicle. '' Hnn....Haaaaaaaggghhh! Why are you so heavy!?'' He shouted in panic over the roar of the engine, and Liang realized he needed to drop his muscle mass. Allowing his transformation to subside, his weight decreased dramatically, but the reduced pressure of his enlarged muscles meant his bleeding began anew. He was hoisted off the ground and yanked into the buggy, causing Junior to cut the wheel again as the buggy almost went completely sideways. Stomping the gas one more time, Liang stared back behind the vehicle at Red, who seemed to be in fully functional condition after suppressing Vi-Poi. He wasn't attacking if he were going to. A small hodgepodge of cannons lifted from beneath the sand as they got closer and closer to the dome, firing off flash charges into the air. Junior immediately pulled down a pair of light-reflective goggles over his eyes before the combined flashbang would go off, and Liang shielded his eyes from the soon to be blinding light. It almost seemed like Red was too occupied with his thoughts to continue his attack, but only these next few moments would tell... [ Vi-Poi, this has just been amazing. I hope you enjoy the post! Vi-Poi has successfully made Li bawl like a little sissy girl, and gave him a hint of his next milestone... ]

Vi-Poi watched as the fighter staggered away, letting him leave. His half-hop, half-fall was nearly comical. This Captain Liang seemed to think he knew the inner-workings of Realigner Red’s great designs, but he was a small fish, one not worth the ki it’d take to kill him. His words had confused him, though. How could the old Administrator be stronger than Realigner Red, if he’d been so quickly overwhelmed? The android shot a few ki blasts at the dome of energy protecting Zero-Zero and the squishy dots underneath, but they were halfhearted waves, his crazed synthetic brain feeling some disappointment. His thought processes were also addled from the great struggle he’d just had against the old blue boy. He’d never had an attack that badly since taking over! If it happened again on Namek, he’d hate to think of the fun it could spoil.
The ki blasts seemed to only cause a ripple to travel along the dome, a slight wobble along the semi-translucent membrane, but otherwise the field remained intact. Vi-Poi decided he didn’t have the time to try to crack it to pieces. It’d take several precious minutes he didn’t have. An itch was forming at the base of his yttrium skull. “I’d like to continue our little festivities, but I’ve got a hot date with a few million green aliens!” He’d have to pull a few Namekians apart limb-by-limb to make up for the disappointment of not smashing the Butt Burper Army into the ground. He rocketed up into the air, leaving a bright red contrail as he soared into the upper atmosphere, speeding across the Earth.
“I guess my ride won’t be as clever as one of their ships, but I’m sure I can find something suitable. Hehehehuehuehue! Namek will be the beginning of a lovely friendship between oblivion and I!”
(Liang Thread Exit, PL please I had a great time, was a super fun fight and you gave amaing dialogue, and I can't wait for us to reconcile!)

As the formational flashbang erupted in the skies above over the searing hot sands of the desert, Liang lifted his forearms weakly to his eyes, the blinding light threatening to sting his vulnerable eyes as the sands already had. The happenings of the past few moments were still a very surreal thing to him; in truth, he wasn't entirely sure what was going on. Between his severe concussion, his massive blood loss, and his broken body, he had used every last ounce of motion and drive he had just to make it on the buggy. His vision going tunnel, he clung to consciousness as Junior's super-buggy slipped through a momentary, purposeful gap in zero-zero's shield bubble. Hazily peering over to Junior, Liang's eyes began to go slack and blank. He woozily wobbled a few times back and forth in his seat as Junior pulled into the vehicle bay, tearing his communicator off of his vest and screaming words Liang couldn't make out; to him, it merely sounded like some sort of strange muffled yelling. His last wobble finally came, and he spilled over the side of the buggy onto his right side, curled into a painful ball as his broken ribs met with the hard floor. With only enough strength to groan and curl his body in response, he slowly began to drag his way aimlessly away from the vehicle in a pitiful elbow-dragging belly crawl. Reaching his hand out to what seemed to be a doorway on the other end, he shakily fell silent with ragged breath as he felt Junior place one of the Tiger's arms around his shoulder and hoist him up, lifting him up onto both of his shoulders in a fireman's carry. Jogging along and trying to take any pressure off of the bounce in his steps, he made his way to the sliding doors and presented the two proper forms of security, a hand scanner and an I.D. scanner, and rushed inside. He smiled tearfully when he spotted a medical team sprinting down the hallway in surprisingly coordinated fashion; a team of first responders in front, followed by two members with a stretcher, flanked by two surgeons.
Again, all Liang could make out was the muffle of panicked yelling, almost like their voices were being smothered by something. Feeling himself being transported again, he was now lying on (and quickly bloodying) the stretcher, which was roughly spun around. A momentary halt came, where Junior grasped Liang's hand and tearfully gave it a brotherly squeeze. ''Thank....you....'' Junior proudly saluted, as did the hallway lined with Blue Banner personnel that had awaited his return. He looked about dreamily as his stretcher soared down the hall and took a sharp turn into the medical bay, where he was promptly lifted by four very careful assistants onto an operating table. He was immediately fitted with an oxygen mask after an application of anesthesia; not enough to put him out, but enough to blind his senses to the work that needed to be done. In his drugged state, he watched the forms of white dart across the room as they gathered supplies in a panicked flash, and he looked at the two tools that would be starting everything off after his IV and life support systems were properly administered; forceps and a scalpel. He watched helplessly as the forceps dug into the laceration at his shoulder, pulling out a huge chunk of crimson glass before setting it on the operating tray. It was only the first of many, and even after all of this there was still work to be done...
Just then, one Doctor Slouch entered the room, hands folded behind his back. He looked as if he'd just finished some sort of important work himself; to be honest, his sudden appearance was a bit jarring to Liang, even in his current state. He looked right at the Tiger.
''Cipher has returned. He is ready to fight back.''
[END! PL please! No weights because it would have made literally zero sense. xD]
