No matter how many times he came to the Glacial Belt to train, Tundra could never truly get used to the extreme cold. Since his meeting with old sparring partners, his power had grown significantly. He had even managed to ascend to a new transformed state. He had seen others of his kind reaching this ‘brutish’ form. It was fairly common among his people. It was certainly a better alternative to immediately going to his true form in battle. He would tire out too quickly if he did that. He learned that the hard way while training with his father years ago. Now, it seemed he was possibly even stronger than him. Still, he had a long way to go if he wanted to escape from this wretched empire.

He stood at the edge of the Belt, once more shivering at the subzero temperatures that threatened to make his bones ache once more. Before him was yet another glacier, towering before him, challenging him to destroy it like the others. Today’s session would be…tremendously more difficult than the others. He grinned and held out his right hand, charging his energy into the palm. A bright blue ki orb formed and was subsequently launched at the massive block of ice. It burrowed its way into the center before erupting into an explosion, shattering it into pieces.
He grinned as he flew into the air, holding up his hands as he used the power of his mind to catch the numerous shards as they scattered. His smirk faded quickly. This was quite the chore, already giving him a dull headache as he gathered the pieces together. He then hurled them straight into the sky and dashed beneath them.
”It’s dangerous, but worth it,” he assured himself. Not only would it test his strength both physically and through his ki, but it would also test his agility. The shards whistled down and Tundra began his work. He slammed his fists into several of them, then kicked, and used his tail. He did everything he could, until something caught his eye. Someone was coming closer. He didn’t have a scouter, so he couldn’t measure its power…but then, once this person came into view, he didn’t need one. His eyes widened in shock. ”No…Zexama?!”
One of the Arcosian Empire’s stronger warriors, loyal to the Empress. At least, that was what he had heard. Everyone knew what this strange, short, bubblegum monstrosity looked like. While he was distracted, more of the shards continued to rain down upon him, one of which managed to scrape his arm fairly deep. He couldn’t keep training now, especially if he was in some sort of trouble. Surely he and the others hadn’t broken any sort of law holding their small tournament. Then again, he did severely wound his last opponent. That couldn’t be the reason Zexama was here…after all, the injury was far from fatal!
Regardless, he flew out of the range of the falling shards of ice and slowly lowered himself onto the snow covered ground, watching as she flew closer and closer. Perhaps if he was lucky, she would fly past him…
