(This thread is going to re-establish Alaistair as a force on Earth. Those who wish to meet him, come! Starting Power Level: 1000)
How long had it been since Alaistair stepped outside? The presence from Zucar hadn't been existent for some time, yet his power hadn't returned. He knew the boy was alive, this was certain, yet the matters of what had happened, that month ago, had haunted him. The clown breached his mind, unleashing a terror that he could not control. The pilot he had the pleasure of coming here with had been alive, narrowly having escaped the Demon. He had ripped out of the enclosure of the demonic entity before it annihilated the Western Capital port. The BBA forces agreed to leave him be, but they had become wary of Alaistair, not fully believing the story. However, it was enough for him to become recluse in his Cherry Valley Loft. The three entities agreed to leave him in the room, knowing the tortures of being driven mad under the Makyo Star's gaze, taking care of small matters in the loft and whatever money came from it.
Alaistair agreed to these things and decided to wait for the Star to pass, but as he waited, he found himself thinking deeply about this entire event, as well as how he was before he was tossed into HFIL by his brethren. He recalled that the Star had lingered over that day as well, when he decided to intervene in the war on that forgotten world... Right? That was the reason why he attacked his brethren all those years ago!
"Thinking about that time again, are you?"
The voice... It was that demon again! Its poisonous words invading his ears... Or was it his mind? Alaistair hadn't slept in quite some time. Ever since escaping months ago, actually. His tortures in that realm were what prevented his slumber, as well as this... THING!
"And what's wrong with me pointing it out, boy? It is as though you hate the truth being pointed out to you!"
The demon's maddening cackle tried to shake Alaistair's core, but this time he's spent in the living world, with no real interaction with the outside was actually more relieving to hear. However, Alaistair had been longing to hear the voice of others. Their muffled voices would reach upstairs, as well as the sound of music played on wind and string instruments to lighten the mood. He also heard the sound of explosions countless times through the month and it was something that bothered him. Energy dropped left and right, as shock-waves shook the walls of his loft. His presence, as well as that of the others, had been strong enough to keep the walls up, but in his silence, the outside had been quite damaged.
"You've become so BORING, since a month ago! Where's that vigor that gave me indulgence, Kaioshin... Oh wait, I meant Makaioshin! You should check on your 'friends' outside this junk-filled room, so your plans don't go awry."
"... Wow," Alaistair responded, laughing as he did! He looked at all the objects around himself, before looking at the clown inserting its ghostly hand into a large Tiki statue. The laugh caught the demon's ears and immediately, it rushed to Alaistair, smiling widely!
"Oh, yay! I get to have some more fun after all! I was getting SOOOO BORED! I thought nothing would make y-"
"Not that, clown... You've actually said something that's made sense for once..."
The clown was confused by this statement. Despite being intelligent, it hadn't been so wary to what it spouted, this being one of those said moments. As Alaistair stood up, grabbing his sword as he did, and floated over to the door; the clown asked the devil, "What in the black pits are you talking about... HEY!"
He went through the ghostly clown and around the musky desk, past stacks of bronze and gold memorabilia from ages bygone to today. Upon reaching the 2 massive doors leading into his office, he pulled it open, the wood scraping against the floor as it did. The noise caused the voices and sounds from below to halt, as it reverberated through the whole space. Only the light taps of the devil's leather shoes on creaking wooden stairs could be heard.
Alaistair realized that, as he was walking down stairs, the stench from him would've been god awful. However, he'd have to request one of the demonic 'residents' to acquire some fresh clothes as he cleansed himself of the filth he accrued on his body. He made his way to the bar, where the demon that disguised himself as the original owner was, and told him, "Good day, lad. I need you to grab some fresh clothes for me, as these rags are absolutely fil-"
Alaistair paused, noting that there had been a large hole in his building from something that happened recently. People were trying to get it repaired with wood to match the old style of the building. He made his way to the hole and peered through the gaps at the outside. His eyes widened, as he flew through the gaps and into the city streets, ruined from the constant attacks! He looked around, flabberghasted at what he was seeing! Lines of people were trying to get into the loft, to try and experience what they've lost over the last month, wrapped in blankets and scraps of clothes they tied into lengthy scarves.
The demon residents, as well as those already inside, rushed outside to see if their eyes were deceiving them! However, they were not deceived at all. They had been seeing the owner and provider of sanctuary in the ruins: Alaistair, the benevolent! Some were chanting this on their knees, bowing and praying to him as if he were some sort of god. He did not witness them, though, for the flattened buildings of what used to be the Western Capital and raging fires had gripped their 'god' in rage! His power had shot up tremendously, a dark red aura flaring up and air jetting away from him as he bellowed out, "What has happened to my city?!"

((#1 in her story, heavy weights enabled))
“Are you sure you want to stay here…? In this city…?” Zerori asked, leaning casually against the wall of Denizen’s office as he looked through the paperwork left to him from the projects Zerori didn’t care to know about. It had been a day since she’d landed the Descent in the Northern Hemisphere of the planet where she’d keep it safe until she was ready to use it again. There were few inhabitants and plenty of cold to keep it from any wear and tear the heat might bring to it. Denizen, not wearing it signature black trench coat as it hung from the rack off to the side, simply shook his head.
“You think I got a choice in the matter?! Capsule Corporation is here and that is my competition. If they don’t leave,” He looked up at her with a serious expression, eyes trained on her, “-I’m not gonna be a pussy about it either…”
Zerori raised her hands in surrender, an annoyed frown on her face, “Fair enough. But if some shit goes down when I’m not around-” She pointedly threw an index finger at the window that showed the town already in ruins but gradually be repaired once more, “-I ain’t gonna just hop my happy ass over to save your skin. Preventive measures, Denizen!” She chastised and he just gave her an obnoxious click of his tongue and waved her off.
“What-the hell-ever! If you’re going to stand there and insult me, get out!” He demanded, looking back to it work with intent. Zerori, for her part, seemed unperturbed by his stubbornness and simply shrugged before leaning away from the wall to walk toward the door.
“Your call,” She muttered as she opened the door, throwing over her shoulder as she left, “-I’ll be in touch.”
“Yo mamma!” He threw back before she closed it and shook her head as she walked towards the elevator. With a push of a button and a quick walk out of the building once on the first floor, she was leisurely walking the streets of the West Capitol. It was then that she heard a loud cry from what sounded like a man; following suit was her scouter quickly showing the rise of a power level in the 18,000s. Disturbed, but not perturbed, she swiftly ran towards the direction her HUD showed her. When she finally reached the location – or very close to said location – she stayed close to a wall as she eyed the giant hole in a building.
There, standing in the middle of said hole, appeared to be a male (by his physique) sporting armor that obscured much of his true features. His power could be felt as it raged and though it did not match her own unfettered power and he would still be quite a challenge if she did not relinquish her weights. As she stared for a moment or two more, contemplating whether she should approach him or not, something about his presence… his power… felt familiar.
She made her decision. I just hope I don’t regret it…
Walking out from the corner, she tilted her head as she approached him. He was at an angle where he stood over her from the second floor of his building and so she was sure he’d notice her somehow, “Hey,” She cautioned as a greeting before raising her head to face him fully, “-You don’t know what happened here? Have you been asleep or did you just get here?”

(Hmn... So where was that restaurant Daiki showed me last time we where here?) Gleciar was entering West City, still in the same bad state that he found it last time, it looked like it had been a battlefield and it annoyed him, he wanted to come here for a bite, but every time he saw this he simply wanted to find whoever did thid and beat said person up.
He landed on an alley a few blocks from the restaurant and started walking towards it, but as he did he felt like something was... wrong. A slowly growing ki in the background, not as strong as his own, but still, it was steadily growing by the minute. It was hard to get a read on it, it felt comflicted, but he also couldnt feel the source. He wanted to check it out, but he wasnt sure if it was an actual problem or just his imagination.
(Do i go check out whatever it is or do i go to eat... Last time i went to check something like this out i was trapped between the most dangerous people i've ever met, specially considering how strong master Ninjin and Daiki are... I could always go to eat and keep feeling the ki... Yeah, ill do that, i wont do much in a fight if im starving anyway.)
He finaly got to the restaurant and after talking to the owner for a bit he ordered some dinosaur ribs with bbq sauce and fries. He did his best to enjoy the meal as he felt that the ki kept growing. Soon enough he simply got everything in his mouth and paid as he still was chomping down the food, then quickly ran off to where the ki was comming from, finally getting a grip on its source.
Once he was close to the source he heard a scream, he was varely able to make out the words, but he also heard a second one soon after, the first one male, the second female, he was a little afraid of getting near them, they both had a darkness in their ki that he hadnt felt since Akumaji. But he approached anyway. "Actually, i dont know either and I've been curious to figure it out since the first time i came to this city..."

(Clarification: Alaistair is wearing a torn up, 2 piece black suit. The armor is getting waxed and fixed. Carrying on!)
The devil's eyes were filled with a rage that he was trying to control under his skin. However, he looked from place to place and into every nook and cranny he could view from his high position and found the water about ready to explode from the pot. He heard a voice call out, one that had a power far stronger than he had been currently. It belonged to a female saiyan... No, not just a saiyan, in spirit. Something similar what twisted himself from that 'god' to what he is now.
Another voiced, and this one too, was stronger than himself. It belonged to an Arcosian with orange shells on his shins, forearms, and head. He wanted to know what happened to this city, as well. Alaistair decided to respond to the 'saiyan' woman first, as she possibly knew more than the 2 of them. She was wondering if the Devil had been asleep or something... A question that, in truth, wasn't too farfetched.
"Asleep... No, I wouldn't call it that. Rather, I'd say, 'distracted,' is the word here, despite the destruction that happened around here," the Devil responded, brushing his hair back with his right hand as did, "And it is very clear now I should not have been distracted in the first place!"
He floated to the ground towards the woman before him, not at all terrified of the power, for it wasn't far from his own. That, or his control was becoming difficult to maintain for what he felt. He proceeded to ask, his eyebrows furrowed as he pointed at her, "You know of what has happened to this city, 'saiyaness'? You must tell me now, if you do, so that I can find and flay the skin off the aggressor that did this!"

The man before her seemed bedraggled when he took notice of her. For some reason a chill ran through her when he did and, though she did not fear him, it slightly disturbed her how familiar this darkness felt. At distance came another whom saw the man's power, or perhaps even felt from what she heard of these earthlings, and came to investigate. When he also wanted to know what happened here, Zerori felt a twitch start to come over her eye.
If they just... Asked someone, they would know! However, even as she thought this, it didn't escape her the opportunity that presented itself.
Looking the demon male over, she gave a simple nod, "Sure, but in exchange I'm gonna need some information," She waved the thought away though, "-later." Choosing a small birdbath next to her, she leaned her posterior against it as she started her half-assed story. "The people of this town were attacked by some sort of beings known as 'Vampyres', but don't ask me what they're like because I wasn't here. The leader of the so-called vampyres was a queened named Kiara... I think," She raised a hand to scratch her head contemplatively, "Treason there's no guarantee of that is because I met a 'Queen of Vampyres' but the leader was already slain before I got here," She looked between the two, "Something about the Blue Banners benefit of being prepared for situations like this."
Finished, she ended her story with a tilt of her head - ready to demand her exchange for her words, "Suffice to say, this is protected one way or the other but now I have a question for you. What are you? 'Who are you?' Is also a good question I'd like to ask." Despite having another person listening in and luckily getting a free story out of her participation, she would ask about them later. At the moment... She needed to know about this being that felt too familiar.

It was then that he truly noticed the female, a Saiyan with a strange aura around her and an incredible power, he couldnt believe he hadnt noticed, even if he was focusing solely on the man, her power should have been felt from far away. He tried to shrug that thought off and gave her a quick glace, noticing her weird glove claws. That was certainly weird.
Then he finally looked at the man, he was wearing a torn up two piece black suit, he didnt look that impresive, but something about his was both unnerving and intimidating, even if his power was weaker than his own. And those eyes, they where filled with rage and hatred, it was obvious that he was trying to keep himself in check, but was failling to do so.
Then the female started explaining what happened, an attack by vampires, he had read about those when investigating human culture, most sources about them where comflicting and they had a lot of weaknesses, the most well known one being the sun, even if one of them two main sources of information claimed it made them sparkle, which is uterlly ridiculous, the burning thing made much more sence for a creature of the night.
Once the Saiyan had finished explaining the situation, which was a lot more simple than what he thought, he looked at the man for the answers she had asked for. "Actually im interested in those answers too, mister, oh whats your name? Im Gleciar." He then turned to the Saiyan. "Same goes for you, who are you?" He gave he time to answer then spoke again. "Oh, Im pretty sure its vampire, not vampyre..." He said as he fixed up his gi.

She wanted information. A thing that, in fairness, probably wasn't the best thing he could work with at the moment. However, this was the request and he'd give her something for her troubles, but later on for her request. She took a position next to a small bird bath, cracked, yet in surprisingly decent condition otherwise. Her voice carried a questionable tone with the beginning of her story, as if contemplating what had happened here. The Devil had left his scouter in his office in the dark building to their right, to review the news for what had actually happened.
She explained it had been a group known as, 'Vampyres,' creatures Alaistair had been all familiar with from his time in Hell. Souls that had escaped to the Demon Realm that, upon escaping, were transformed into blood suckers capable of siring more from their 'love bites.' The story would have been more believable, had she not been contemplative about the story. She recalled this, 'Kiara,' a supposed, 'Queen,' of these Vampyres here on Earth being fought against and slain by the Blue Banner Army.
The Arcosian wanted to know his name, introducing himself in mid sentence. He asked the woman as well, and stated the pronunciation of the race as with a 'y,' and not with an 'i.' The woman proceeded to ask whom Alaistair had been, and what he had been as well. To this, the Devil replied, "A man who owns a stake in this city. Of the nature on what I am, that is something I leave the people my business takes care of decide. That name is Alaistair, and I own the Cherry Valley Loft on the corner over there that looks like something from a far, bygone era."
As explained this, he pointed towards the dark wood building that the people were pouring out of. The boiling rage ceased quickly, upon seeing them, as he uttered, "And I'm the fool who's made the youngsters distracted and fearful... Everyone," Alaistair bellowed in a calmer tone, that beckoned for a moment with confidence, "Please head back inside and warm your bellies! I'll be joining you in just a moment, to catch up and plan out the repairing of our city! I've a need to calm myself down, with these two people right here, so don't be alarmed."
With the sound of his voice, the people made their way inside, including the 3 demonic tenets assisting with the efforts in the Loft. Alaistair released a sigh, as he turned back towards the two, "My apologies on that matter... I am a figurehead here in the Western Capitol now, ever since the Reikiko Games, and even before that, when that dreadful Super Saiyan and the Blue Banner battled here in the city. Things, since then, had been very stressing, but that's a story for another time. You say, 'Vampyres,' had done this damage, and had been eliminated upon their destructive act..? That, alone, does not seem to be the only cause. Would this be correct?"

The Arcosian beside her seemed just as interested in her questions as she was, but didn’t miss the odd correction he seemed to offer out of what seemed like random. Glancing at him with a look narrowed gaze, her brows knitted towards her eyes, she seemed to almost telepathically try to say, ‘Are you fucking kidding me right now?’ When the man started to speak, she turned back to him but not before throwing one last cautious glance at the boy before doing so.
She listened with a brow raised and her tail curved in an arc behind her as it moved and twitched with every word the man spoke. His name was etched into her mind, ‘Alaistair’, and noted to research more of that up when she had a chance. So far, she’d gathered that his manner of speech was not from this era – who really spoke so eloquently? So he’s definitely older than he looks… Despite not answering her question about what he was, and she knew he knew what she was talking about – the sneak – she confided in herself that he must be of some sort of important family of beings. After all, something was definitely not human about him and she’d met plenty of aliens to get a good point of comparison.
Introduced to the two, but not entirely satisfied with the answers she received, she was about to continue questioning him before he noticed people watching him from outside of his Cherry Loft. Raising her head to look down her nose at them curiously, she noticed that they all seemed to have a different appearance. When he turned back to them, finished with the consoling of their nerves, she gave a nod to his explanation of his presence.
At his question, she simply shrugged, “That could be absolutely true, but I’m afraid unless we have a more monetary exchange, I wouldn’t be able to give you that kind of information. You see,” Her face cleared of curiosity to break out in a sly grin, “-research isn’t free and I certainly don’t do it on an empty stomach.” Finished with her only partially teasing responses, she leaned from the birdbath and closed the distance between them as she raised a hand towards his own in an earthling gesture, “Wanted to wait ‘til the right moment to give it to you, and since you’re all at a disadvantage to me… Zerori,” She would wait until he either shook her hand or didn’t before letting it fall, “Zerori of Vegeta. As you can see, I am not… completely saiyan like most of my appearance implies. Half of what you see belongs to the demonic side of my mother and the other, my father.”
Chancing a glance at the city behind her, she scoffed, “I came here to see what treasures I could find, information on that part of my heritage being one of them…” She looked back at them, glancing between the two before she grinned with teeth showing, “So, who’s next in this game of Twenty Questions?” Trying to be humorous.

He did his best to not be intimidated by the Saiyan when she glared at him, he stayed calm and with a neutral expression the whole time. He knew it was whatever weird thing emanated from her aura that made her so much more intimidating and he knew the man had a similar characteristic, but he still couldnt pin it down...
It was then that Alaistair introduced himself, he had great elocuensy in his speech, though it seemed quite outdated... As if it was over a hundred years old... Maybe millions from what reading he had done. His observations where derailed by a mob coming from the building he owned, but after a couple of words they all calmed down and went back inside. A few of them had a similar energy signature to the other two. (Damn it... What is it...)
Then the female spoke again, offering information for food and money, a reasonable exchange since she could probably manage to get more information during the meal. It was a simple yet clever plan and if he could manage to butt in and get a free meal for himself that would be nice too. It was then that she introduced herself as Zerori and extended her hand towards them. He waited to see if Alaistair would shake it, whether he did or not he would quickly shake it himself.
And once she finished explaining who she was that it all clicked together, she was half demon, so was Akumaji. And Alaistair was a full blooded demon... Posibly his men too. But he did seem like a reasonable man with the best interest of the city in his mind. It seemed quite comflicting, but it wasnt imposible that all demons where evil, right?
He wasnt really sure what this Twenty Questions thing was, but by the name it seemed pretty obvious what to do. Turning to Alaistair he spoke once again. "Im pretty sure, I've figured out what you are, sir. But what i want to know... Why do you wish to rebuild the city? Not that I'm complaining, but someone of your kind doesnt seem exactly like the type to do charity work..."

(No worries. I got the idea. ) The gall this woman had, teasing Alaistair like this! It was rather amusing to the old devil! So much so that he actually smiled at the comments flying out of the woman's mouth with whimsy. Even overhearing the telepathic message to the Arcosian was amusing! When she finally introduced herself as Zerori and held out a hand to shake for a deal concerning the information, he responded, "That's a matter I can figure out on my own, once I take a good look at the news through the scouter I've got up in my office... Would you care for a pot of sabertooth stew with, a now rare, Jingle Village drink?"This Arcosian lad seemed to have been reading into the way Alaistair was responding to these comments, to which the Devil replied, "A word to the wise, Gleciar. Read into a book too much, and you'll find yourself absent from reality...""Aww... I knew you cared," the clown's voice called out, taunting the devil. "However, that doesn't have to be the case. Come inside my abode and I'll show you how it means to be treated like a King and Queen... And as for your reading, you are not wrong about me being something not human. But it doesn't mean I don't have to care about a city. Come inside and I will explain," Alaistair continued, having a brief pause between his last statement to get a message across. He motioned for both to make their way into his establishment. He purred, "It would be audacious of me to not serve those who have potential to more than what they are now."

Shaking Glecier’s hand, and Alaistair’s own afterwards, she looked towards the building Alaistair had come from as he mentioned getting some food inside. The thought was appealing, seeing as she could hardly turn down a meal in exchange for a simple run-around.
As refreshing as it was to see someone enjoy a joke Zerori made, she felt as though he took it much more mundane than she had hoped. I wanted to be paid; not fed, She though idly, ignoring the appeal but didn’t think to amend her thoughts. She had no inkling that he could reads minds, much less read her own. Following him inside, she raised one eye brow while creasing the other in confusion, “I’ll try any thing with alcohol once, but the way you say ‘rare’, makes it sound like it can’t be recreated anymore,” Following him inside, she continued, “I tried to visit said place but there really… wasn’t much of anything there. I figured the village was literally a pub on a snowy hill…”
As she walked with him, taking cautious foot steps, her eyes seemed to be led to nearly every object in the room. It was like a museum of the odd and she wasn’t just taking about the inanimate kind either. The beings were so different that she had to double take a few times when her gaze lingered on a man whom seemed completely made of stone. Shaking her head slightly, she coughed to try and cover her slightly embarrassing moment of awe.
Chancing a glance at Glecier when their large host spoke his last few words, she pondered what he could mean by that. However, instead of speaking in her own mind, she cut the middle man out, “What do you mean ‘Potential for more’? Don’t get me wrong, you sound like a wonderful host, but I didn’t take you for the ‘Sage Master’ type.”

(I'll be shifting this thread along and have your character be brought inside with us, Gleciar Avierno.) The two took Alaistair's offer of hospitality, for the sake of learning information, though in truth, he would be able to handle that on his own time. Alaistair led them into the dark building, and as they went in, the devil noticed that Mr. Dorgia had been near by. Of the three, the old crag was the most interesting, despite the fact he was only the doorman and an assistant to the leader of the 3. He asked the elder, "Mr. Dorgia, could you please bring up the Снег слеза (pronounced Sneg Sleza) upstairs, to my office, along with some of the... What do you call it? It's a type of stew from the Eastern Capital made from beef, carrots, cabbage, and something else...""It'll be brought up to you. I know what you speak of... And might I ask whom these two are?""People of business, despite my small 'outburst' earlier. How long will it take for this to be prepared?""An hour, minimal, and 2 maximum. Eres is in the midst of handling the food orders and has been preparing the stew non-stop, due to the amount of people coming in to eat. As for Arthus... Well, you know how youngsters get at times, around beautiful women," Dorgia explained, the cane wielder pointing into the lounge for Alaistair to peek at. The demon was in a magical disguise, appearing as someone with long orange hair, a black vest and pants, with the shoes to go with the outfit, and a button down, long sleeve shirt. A red tie hung down from the 'youth's' neck, as he sat down in a bronze embroidered love seat, a glistening silver saxophone next to him on one side and a dark skinned woman in the other that he had his arm over as he chatted with her. She was giggling at some of the things whispered to her, as she whispered another back. Alaistair shook his head, as he muttered, "Indeed to say, Mr. Dorgia. I don't expect to see Arthus anymore tonight than I am now. I will be taking my guests to the office, now. I will see you within an hour or so.""Very well. I will see you," the old man replied, yawning in mid-sentence, "at sunset."Alaistair would lead the two up the oak staircase, listening to the question that Zerori had for him. To this, he inquired, "I'm an old man, despite the appearance, Ms. Zerori. So old that the combined age of most of the people in this place wouldn't be able to consist of a fraction... And if my wits are correct, this would include yours and Gleciar's. As for your comment about this... 'Sage Master' type of person you purport me to be, you are right, and you are wrong."Alaistair and the 2 would reach the top of the stairs, to the massive doors leading into his office. He pushed both doors open enough for Zerori and Gleciar to come inside before closing heavily on their own. He grabbed two simple chairs en route to the lone desk in the giant room. He set the both in front of his desk before walking around to his own chair. As he did, he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath, as he prepared his energy for something. Mentally, he sent out a message to his subordinate, Zucar, whom had gone missing from the last time he saw him, here at the loft. The message was as follows, "Zucar, there seems to be a trifling matter at hand, concerning my personal well being, as well as concerning the events of the future. You have my trust as a loyal warrior, and thus, request you build up your power in silence. I will maintain contact with you through telepathy, to let you know when it is time to resurface. For now, I will be needing all my strength, to prepare for the days ahead... Be prepared, in a year's set of time to fly to Planet Vegeta. Do not be foolish and may your wisdom guide you, my young Knight."After the message was sent, Alaistair's eyes flared open, becoming amber in color as a red mist flowed into him. Alaistair had realized the boy was in the bar area a while ago, getting drunk as he met with some saiyan that, to be honest, was far stronger than him at the time, even with Alaistair's power. However, the saiyan hadn't done anything to the boy. Alaistair felt the boy's presence there, even now, and with this power, recalled the energy from the boy down below! The dark, empowering energy flowed back into him, giving him the sensation of feeling whole once more! He breathed in deeply, before releasing the tension his body had felt from the power returning! Muscles became strained, as they had to adjust to how much power his soul actually had! "MMmm...! There we are," the devil painfully groaned, clasping the ends of the armrests, before releasing. The two guests of his, no doubt, were probably jumped by the sudden increase in power Alaistair had, and thus, the devil would have to apologize for that. He soothed out, "I do have to apologies for that display you witnessed. You see, one of the things I have learned to do over the years is bestow a gift of power and mental connection by inserting a piece of my personal essence, provided willingly, into their bodies. A gift that I can take away, should a problem surface up for whatever reason... Hurts like hell giving and taking away, on both parts, but it's only a temporary thing, but that's something else for another time. I've a question to you, now: Are you satisfied with what you are now, knowing that you will one day come to die..?"(@mrpups, the mark has been taken away at this point, and thus, you will no longer have the 2194 pl boost. As of now, Alaistair's full PL is back to the 30,142. The devil is currently stunned in his chair, incapable of moving arms and legs for a turn.)

She watched the interaction between Alaistair and the older man with interest, even as they were led and introduced. She nodded to the older man, looking up and down at his appearance. He was obviously of repute with the lord so she made a mental note to be respectful to him, just in case. Looking around at the boy they seemed to mention, she raised a brow at the woman and well-dressed gentleman. With a swift glance at the man she made a soft sound of uncaring before she followed him up the staircase. Her thoughts, despite the almost surreal feeling this place gave her, still kept resurfacing to the obvious. Who were these people? Yes, it felt obvious that these were demons but something just seemed… off. With a purposeful look thrown at the man she mused, He acts nothing like my mother, yet… I can’t deny that he’s hiding something. Just like she did.
His cryptic, yet also enlightening, reply to her statement didn’t go unnoticed and she crossed her arms as she followed. She risked a glance away from him, “So you’re that old, huh? Couldn’t imagine what that would feel like…” Her thoughts on immortality were very black and white; why live forever in world that only got shittier when you could live with the time you had left and make every second feel like your last? It was a matter of value to her, value that could always be weighed in coin or other desires.
As her and Glecier were led into an ornate office, furnished with many objects that never failed to catch her attention, she would glance back at the chair she was offered. Grabbing the chair, she turned it around and sat in it backwards, her front facing him with her legs straddling the chair. It was a personal preference to sit this way for the comfort of her tail but secretly, she grasped for a familiar comfort zone in the presence of the lord. For a few moments, she waited for him to speak when he came around the desk but he just stayed still with his eyes closed. What’s going on? She mused in suspicion.
Then, something did happen and it nearly had her readying to attack. Jumping from the chair, she held the top of it tightly as the red miasma (or what looked like it) flowed from seemingly no where into him. His reactions were strained but she could see that it was empowering him! To prove this, her scouter could depict the number rising by a good chunk of 10,000 before it stopped. This would complicate matters if he wanted to fight…
When he next spoke to them, an apology divvied out between them for what they witnessed, she listened intently to what he explained. As she listened, a cold chill ran down her spine and she suddenly had no doubt about whom or what he was. The power to bestow power a person? Speak into their mind? Such things made Zerori uncomfortable but also intrigued her greatly. On her saiyan side, she had power and the durability to back up the power. On her demon… magic, and the unpredictability that came with the potential. His words could only elicit questions from her.
Choosing her word carefully, she responded with no amount of hidden caution, “What I am right now, I’ve come to terms with. Death does not concern, nor worry, me in the least, either. I am both half saiyan and half demon, and despite the hatred I’ve received on one side – I couldn’t tell you how I felt about the other…” For a second, she thought about what she might feel if she had to give an answer. “-Maybe anger… fear? My mother was a saiyan for most of my life so when it was revealed that she was… not… I didn’t take to the news lightly. However, for sake of power, strength and finding my place - I’ve stayed open minded about both sides.”

(To clarify, Gleciar had told us to write up what he's doing for the thread. Also, my apologies for the story I've given.) Alaistair's body felt as though it could begin moving soon, but it was not enough to do what he wanted, as far as he could tell. He listened to Zerori's statement, and as he did, he observed the Arcosian being aghast by what had been getting put on the table before him already, despite having only been meeting Alaistair and Zerori. Once Zerori finished speaking, he would begin his own reply, feeling his statement had been misconstrued. "Ms. Zerori, though it is good to know that you know what you are, it seems you have taken the context of my question to you and Mr. Gleciar here, who seems a bit perplexed at the moment at what has happened. I was directly asking about your thoughts on knowing one day, you would die... Let me explain more on my statement, so that you may understand the point I am coming across," Alaistair explained, realizing the error in his question, "As you know, this realm of life is watched over by great and powerful entities, known as Kaioshin, and of course, there are other entities of equal caliber, such as the Makaioshin and Namekians, whom in particular pass on their knowledge from one generation to the next in their Guru, but that is not the focus here. The focus is on the Kaioshin, whom call themselves the Gods of Life, protectors of the Universe. In all their power, which is vaster than most entities that have existed, they choose to do only act when a power rises up that equals their own. Many thousands of years ago, after an event in the past involving a-""OH! You're telling them how you met me?! Don't leave out the gritty details, boy," the demon clown interjected with giddy, bringing up a child's plastic chair and transforming into one himself. He looked up with a toothy grin as wide as his face, waiting for Alaistair to tell the story. Granted, the two wouldn't be able to see this, of course, as this was nothing but a maddening hallucination the Devil had. It still caused the Devil to pause for a moment, to gawk at this sight, none the less! After about five seconds of staring, he shook his head, apologizing, "Sorry... I have these moments now these days, due to what I've been through in my life and death, where I see the oddest things that take me a moment to process... But back to my explanation. Back in the early days of my 'previous life,' I was not the ravishing devil you see before," he jested, "I was once a Kaioshin. A 'God of Life,' who intervened with major disasters happening throughout the universe. In my training, I have witness the deaths of billions of souls, with the birth of even more. The thing, though, that had led me to becoming what I am now was a demon, not much different than your mother... I suppose I could say. The difference would be, unlike your mother, the demon was vastly powerful because of his power over madness."The clown clapped, as he shouted, "YAY! I knew you remembered! Tell them how I broke that one particular woman's mind by showing her a repeated clip of a dog drooling while the-""He would go from world to world, inserting his demonic essence into anything that could think, that was living. This included plants, as well. He would shatter the minds of people, and in the process of doing this, steal parts of their souls and become stronger," Alaistair explained, his voice being raised to interrupt the childish clown. The clown crossed both arms, frowning as he muttered, "Party pooper..."The devil lowered his voice, as he resumed the explanation, The Kaioshin knew of his existence, but would not act until he was strong enough to threaten entire galaxies at once, which would mean that he could threaten the Kaioshin and their life. 2 others that I trained with and myself, of the newest generation, were called to fight him. I, being the oldest and strongest of the newest generation of Kaioshin, would have to weaken his grip on the minds of those on the world we tracked him to by unlocking their potential to do good and become stronger from it, while my brothers would go destroy him at the source once the minds and souls were purified of his essence. This was so he would not resurface from anyone's body, should he have had the ability to do so. This, though, was not true, as his essence got stuck to me and transformed me into what you see now... It's a bit much, but there is a reason for why I'm telling you all of this," he elaborated, trying to move one of his hands and failing to do so. "I retained my sanity, but my form was corrupted by the demon's power. Yet, in the process, it had dragged me into an area of thought my brothers and elders can not reach in their lives. I was slain, after going to a world being reaped by a worldwide Civil War its people were in, and sent to HFIL for the rest of eternity for my 'arrogant' thinking and supporting the just side. After careful planning and distributing my energy, I escaped not too long ago and came here to the Western Capital, to begin a project intended prevent death and would allow all people to live in pleasure and sanctuary. This includes the Makaioshin who are wronged because of what they are and not for what they do..."Alaistair relaxed for a moment, to focus his energy on moving his left hand to point at Zerori and Gleciar. His body shook whilst his hand rose from the armrest to the table, where it fell flat. It was close enough, though, so he resumed, his voice sounding antagonized, "There are, though, things in this universe that are venom... Things that seek to destroy life for the sake of destroying life because it is their choice. Saiyans do this many times, but they are able to be reasoned with, for they are a warrior species. Even Majin are reasonable... However, some choose to destroy for the sake of fun. Tell me, have either of you met someone who goes by the name of Komoto?"

It was with distaste that Zerori rolled her eyes; she had a feeling that wasn’t what he wanted, but something more specifically mundane. However, when he made mention of his error and intent to explain, she had a feeling it was going to lead into a lengthy – and possibility even debatable – discussion. She settled herself back down into the chair and motioned for him to continue. All the while, she would glance in Glecier’s direction to grin at his expressions. He was obviously not used to being taught history by a demon elder; should they meet again not in class, she’d tease him about it.
The beginning of his explanation covered some knowledge that Zerori was only scarcely aware of – as in, she read texts on the subject but it didn’t interest her too greatly to follow up on it. However, to save derailing the explanation (and her fragile ego) she didn’t bother to correct him or speak against his claim. It proved to be wise since he continued to explain what she needed to know to understand his point. However, when he paused – as if seeing or thinking of something that was suddenly thrown to the forefront of his mind – she narrowed her eyes and hesitantly moved her head to see the direction in which he was seeing. N-Nothing’s there…? What is he doing? Going senile?
When he recovered second later, she looked back at him to blinked incredulously at his claim, “’Life and death’ visions? Looked more like you saw your naked grandmother for a split moment,” She joked, unaware of what his naked grandmother might look like and really not interested too either. The conversation continued like this for some time, touching up on the subject of a demon that could manipulate madness and steal parts of mortals’ souls. In all honesty, it chilled Zerori to know beings like that existed and that she was even remotely similar or related to such people.
Maybe those looks aren’t because of my tail and breathtakingly powerful muscles… Her thoughts seemed to cheer her up a bit as the story dipped into the history of this demonic entity and how it related to Alaistair - it was interesting and dreadfully long winded at the same time… His body seemed almost nonresponsive when her gaze was slightly pulled to one of his twitching hand.
Finally, a key word caught her attention when his history lesson finished exploring the morality of his desire to help the demon people whom were discriminated against for who they were. It was frightfully similar to how the saiyan people were being treated on this planet… The keyword that caused her to suddenly focus her attention wholly on him was ‘Majin’ – a simple five-letter word that was tossed around multiple times in the texts she searched for. However, something seemed off about what he was saying and the knowledge she’d accrued. Are Majin and Demon different, somehow? Was my mother correct in that the magic we use is of the same source but utilized differently? She still didn’t have the answers she wanted!
At his question, she grimaced – the name didn’t ring a bell in the least. She didn’t go around looking for Majin to answer her questions with all the stories she’d heard about them able to transmute something made of one thing and change it into something completely different! Such things defied science and logic; two things that – despite her use of magic – she clung to as a means of comfort and reality. She shook her head, “No, but if I did hear about him, I imagine I wouldn’t stick around long enough to bother finding a reason to track him. What’s he got to do with death, though? Does he kill people for fun or rip them apart for a laugh?”
