From her position across from him, leaned against the able, Zerori’s eye twitched at how quickly he seemed to cave to her demands. It wasn’t unappealing but quite suspicious. As he mentioned the objects she had indeed remembered glancing at in the room (and the room below them), a slight smirk came to her lips. I can have anything I pick, huh? Well… that is what one way to treat a lady, She thought with a wry grin and tilted her head in his direction, “Alright, I will. Thanks for the permission…” She spoke in a sultry voice, just after he got up to walk around the table. She watched his reactions, noting his he stared at the tapestries and he recounted the need for some of his patrons to receive aide. Her lips twitched and she turned her head back around with her back facing him.
It wasn’t in her nature to just jump up when someone asked help of her, so when he started the impromptu briefing, she leaned away from the table and walked around the room. Her eyes scanned everything with observant precision, noting the quality and the craftsmanship – grabbing a few and holding it in her hand as she measured how heavy and balanced it was. Earth treasures, and this room were filled with it, had always been her original goal on the planet.
And he had quite a lot here. If he spoke the truth that meant that money wouldn’t be an issue at all for a long, long while. Giving a shrug, she brought the object up to her band on her arm and typed in some manual codes. It wasn’t finished yet and the atomizer matrix was shoddy however, for her goals, she needed a test subject to see how well the object would hold under the holographic limbo. With some much here, he wouldn’t miss an article or two if this one happened to break. She looked up as he walked to the door and followed, hands on her hips as they continued back down stairs. If Glacier was following, she’s toss him a grin and mouth ‘score’ before returning to listen to Alaistair.
Giving a nod at the information Zerori chimed in, “That’s typically how it works, assuming you pay them enough to not turn on you,” He threw a mention to Eres about her interest and Zerori balked, nearly missing a step before she called out, “Ah, later Eres! I think Glec wanted dibs anyway!” She wasn’t going to start a debacle with the demonic woman, if she really was a demon. Oh, right. Was that really a question now? Shouldn’t I just… accept it? With a huff, Zerori walked through the held open door and looked to Alaistair with a cool expression. Finally, she asked before she got a few paces, “So, you’re a demon… right? Everyone here,” She gestured to those inside, “-and you are all, in fact, demons? And you want to protect this planet?”
With a final scratch at the back of her head, she waved, “I just want to be absolutely clear about all of this. A job is a job so I’m not worried about what dirt I have to get my hands into once paid, but being thorough is what keeps me alive.” At his mention of the scouter, she tapped hers at her side, “-Not a problem. This place has been logged for now so, I should be able to contact you. So, where to?” She could already a feel a sliver of impatience lace her voice and she coughed awkwardly, “I’m… eager to get started.”
((Sorry for the lateness ><))

(Don't worry about it! We'll keep this thread moving along now! Gleciar Avierno, when you're ready to hop on in again, let us know! ) Zerori had said her goodbyes and had made her way out the door, with a few articles in hand. Alaistair took note of this and, as she made her way out the door, she came right out with a question from left field about what he was, specifically if he was demon and all those in the Loft were demons. The devil laughed at this, as he explained, "Those three in there are the demons. Myself..."Alaistair paused for a moment, trying figure the wording to describe what he is. He put a finger on his goatee, stroking it a bit, before developing the description in which to describe himself. He opened with, "I am one of those who were once 'Gods' but were twisted up into the form I am now. However, given the power I had back then, I was able to forgo the full extent of insanity that came with the twisting. A 'Fallen One' if you will... Or in fairly common word, a 'Devil'. But, only in method and appearance. As for the job, I will be as thorough as I can be, given that I have been locked away in that office for I don't know how long. I'll be using the scouter to gather more information as we go about."Alaistair lifted up into the air, as he stated, "Then again, that's only my over-abundance in confidence and charisma! Take with that what you will. Now, lets see here... Ah, it seems his presence is indeed South of here, but it seems there are some others that I'd rather not linger around near him as well! A visit is due, indeed! Come, allow me to show you some of this ruined city's people and why I choose to defend it."The devil sped over to the area, hoping Zerori would be following suit and Gleciar as well! However, the boy seemed lost in space, in his own thoughts when he was in the office, so it'd be up to him if he'd come along or not. The devil was on a mission for this world's sake, and by his will, it would be met! Alaistair arrived above what seemed to have been a nearly falling apart workshop, the windows all blown out. No one was around, save for what seemed to be at least ten people inside. The gaps where the windows were had been large enough for someone double Alaistair's size to go through. Alaistair floated through, arms crossed behind his back, as he observed around. Papers and concrete were scattered around the workshop, but the sound of machines were on. He could also hear the sound of unsavory words being sloppily barked from someone. "Where d'hell are you hiding your ships, Trevor! I need'em for my exports and I need'em now! You don't want to excite me and my associate's hand here. 'r else you're going to become a nice red spray painted corpse to decorate this shop of yours!"Alaistair got closer, landing on the ground and tapping his shoes loud enough for the people inside to hear. He heard them go silent for a moment, before the barker giving more orders whilst he continued his threats to this 'Trevor' he was threatening. Alaistair called out, "Now gents! There's no need to be so startled! It's only good ol' Alaistair, and a 'friend' of his!""Oh shit..! SHIT! Don't let him in here!""Now, Isaack, you don't want your heart pressure going too high now!"Alaistair looked to Zerori, explaining in a whisper, "Isaack in there is a little piggy that runs one of the mobs in this city. He and his men had a little business trade with whom I'm guessing is Trevor Langly, one of those men I wanted kept safe, which involved the transport of weapons due to a threat he had given them. However, Trevor only a transporter of goods, involving ships and foods, depending on the ship. Isaack also had a big trade, though, with someone lowly hybrid rat that I can't recall the name of that had at one point tried to take my head with my own sword if I didn't provide an adequate service personally to him... Lets just say that the boy ended up getting tossed into an alley with Arthus for an hour and got straightened out, and handing a business over to my knight and servant, Zucar. Zucar also had a hand in straightening him out, but there's not much to it. So, one day, Isaack and his men come in, all angry at what my knight and Arthus did. I tried to speak with him, but he decided to take the aggressive and threatening approach in my building. I had to-"Alaistair halted, several ki shots rapidly blasting at Alaistair and Zerori from above the machinery! He ducked, drawing his sword out and slashing rapidly at the blasts coming at him and Zerori accurately! He shouted out, "Looks like they're still upset since then! Long story short, I kicked their asses outside the Loft for the comment and they tried to vow revenge! However, I scared the ever living hell out of them by letting a little more 'Devil' show up! Isn't that right boys?!"One of them, a short statured Namekian dressed in black suspenders, black shoes and a grey button down shirt with short sleeves, cursed him off as he unleashed a fairly strong attack of 5,000 power level at the two. Alaistair looked at the blast, and with a sigh, hurled an open palm at the attack as he bellowed out, "Devil Wave!"Alaistair's attack shot out as an orange beam, it's power level at least double the attack shot at him and overpowered the attack! It flew out and nearly hit the Namekian directly, but he was rescued by a saiyan double his stature! Alaistair shook his hand, as he muttered, "Damn... Put a little too much in that. Almost killed him... Ah, so you know, Zerori! These men are all decent men, but because they work for Isaack, they're all being squandered. So, if you could, can you not kill these idiots? Knock them out, but try not to kill them. The only one I want dead is that Isaack. Slugs like him aren't needed in the picture, but an example needs to be made somewhat in the open, out of him, without directing it at me. Think you can do that? You can go grab another few objects for payment after this."

Ohhh, so that’s what he meant by a Makaioshin… She thought as if it were a revelation. The clarification helped to clear something she had learned long ago about her mother. The title before meant nothing to her, a simple phrase uttered to try and elicit a reaction from her and bring her down to understanding with the bitch she called a parent. She snorted out through her nostrils when the ‘Devil’ started to rise into the air. Looking down slightly, as she knew he might await her to follow him, she lifted a boot as she compressed the wind into a step. When her boot made contact, the air seemed to charge and pulse as she took the steps up to be at his level. She muttered to him, as if in response to his explanation of his being, “Yeah, I had a mom like that. Real classy lady, that one,” The dryness in her voice couldn’t hide how distained she was with her mother, “-You’re a surprising exception to someone like her so…,” She grinned at him with a wink, “-that’s good news for you, I’d say.” As she followed him, she gave a groan at his desire to show her the people he wished to protect, prompting her to boil inwardly, If he starts asking me to donate money to the cause of helping people, I’m going to drown him… The method in which she followed was simple, jumping quickly from step to step as she maintained a comfortable distance from him – while keeping him in sight. What he would see would look like she was jumping from invisible floor to invisible floor of varying heights and degrees. When he stopped, she made on last jump before grinding to a halt in the air, a line of pulsating air streaming from her feet. They had arrived at some sort of dock, or loading area. From the looks of things, it was just as run down as the rest of the city. Even though she only cared for money, she had to admit that it depressed her to see the city in such a state. As an after thought, she made to nudge the Devil, “There’s a company I’ve been working with in this city that could use some attention and has a very invested interest in it’s repair; Maybe we can work something out after this,” It was a pathetic attempt at a promotion but Denizen would kiss her ass for it later – if it worked. Once inside, Zerori stepping down to the level of the building like stairs, her hands went straight to her hips when the people inside could hear them. Whoever this ‘Trevor’ was sounded important and with the way the men were reaction to the ‘gent’ at her side – they didn’t take kindly to Alaistair’s particular interruption. She laughed softly at his next short story, occasionally glancing at the men as they were retreated. Nearly at the end, Zerori could see the attacks coming from a mile away and was prepared to make her own ‘salutations’ – only to be interrupted by the Devil making a personal effort to defend them both with his sword play skills. Not bad… She thought as he slashed every blast into nothing but harmless discharge. Summarily summarized, he continued and Zerori just scoffed at the ending of it all, “You know, you really should have expected it,” She told him, igniting her hands before eyeing a nice stack of trash near them and smoothly throwing it at a low angle to impact and explode near their hiding spot, “-that’d they’d try to get revenge, I mean. That’s typically what pride-wounded men do, after all.” She looked him over, realizing a slightly personal blunder and offense but simply shrugged looking at his face with a smirk, “-No offense, right?” The scene before her played out like a novel she’d read, a larger lackey taking the place of a smaller one and trying to intimidate them. The only problem was that he wanted them alive; Zerori looked at him with a half-lidded expression on her face of a dry incredibility, “You’re serious…?” After a second of being serious – which she was sure he was – she gave a deep sigh, “Fine, but you should have said so before the guns went firing,” And with a soft ‘Fwuip’, she evaporated her flames and clenched her fist tightly. Counting them in her head, her face dropped into a serious motive before she spoke dully, “Seven seconds.” Like a switch has suddenly been turned on in her head, she was gone in an instant and quickly in the midst of the blast fire. Her motions were clean, precise and as non-lethal as she could make them. Her body would appear from a whirlwind of air, followed by a hit to either their chin, solar plexus, or behind them to deliver a hit toward some of their nerves near the spine and neck. In seven seconds, making the room explode in gusts every time she would ‘jump’ she would immobilize two as efficiently as possible before moving onto the next. When the room was clear and everyone had fallen, she would stop and turn to him. Her expression still stoic, completely in business mode, she motioned with a nod for him to continue, “Walk and I’ll follow. Pay no attention to those that see you,” She turned back, “They won’t see me coming.” ((Hope that was good; the scene near the end was supposed to be a little like this: stream1.gifsoup.com/view/105348/nightcrawler-2-o.gif))

Zerori made her way around, taking down some of the soldiers in a whirlwind like a bat outta hell! Alaistair took note of this, batting a few ki blasts away with his sword before sheathing it with her return. The soldiers were all knocked out after a few moments. He looked around, counting the number of soldiers KO'd as they move. He pressed his lips together into a frown, as he mentioned, "Mm... Alright. Keep an eye out for those two from before. They don't seem to be among the soldiers here. I think I am recalling whom those two are now, specifically. Keep your eyes open. The saiyan's name Braska Rapa. I think he's among those 'royals' that were sent out, to see if they could handle the responsibilities of delegation... That would explain why the pig in there had inter-spacial trading going on. The other is Goblet. Short and quick to angry. He's more along the lines of my strength, or was until I expanded my strengths."
Alaistair walked forward, calmly stepping over the ko'd soldiers as he did. He proceeded to tell her, "Mr. Trevor the pig's trying to torture for his ships' locations among those few people who're able to safely travel through space, having made contracts with the respective Empires to transport resources and, to Earthlings, 'exotic' species. So, having the gentleman be trapped here, while his ships are possibly being repaired, is not good for business. In addition, he also manages quite a bit of transportation of resources on Earth, as well. Basically, he's one of those geniuses with a tongue to get what he wants and needs that's very much open to making businesses. Business you and I both can make use of, and Isaack here..."
The devil paused, as they made their way a secluded office in the middle of the factory floor. The lights were on, showing a large man with black clothes that seemed to have been getting dirtied all over from wrestling with what seemed to have been an Arcosian being tossed around! 'Trevor' was the Earthling name he went with. The real name of this Green gemmed Arcosian was Ijs Frozet. He was in only brown pants and what used to be a white collared shirt. He was in his true form, and to be honest, compared to other Arcosians, it had been very low on the average. Alaistair tapped the red Button on his scouter, to measure out the Power Levels on the two of them. 'Trevor's' power level had been very low, after the beating he'd been taken, whilst Isaack had been at a surprising 22,000 power level!
Alaistair was perplexed by this for a moment, trying to figure out what had happened. He looked around the office, trying to see what it was that he took. At the side of the doorway into said office, he noticed that there had been a vial on the ground. He picked up the vial and read it quickly. It had been a new age pill, of sorts... Someone had gone and made a steroid for soldiers to increase their strength 10 fold, it seemed, for a brief moment. From the looks of it, the square faced giant had been taking them for some time now. The side effect were notable with the red flushed face on Isaack, as well as the thick pulsing veins.
"My, oh my! You really have been at it with these pills, haven't you Isaack? Soldier pills are only meant for Soldiers for a reason, and to use them to torture Ijs Frozet here, who's done a hell of a lot of work for the four nations... Shame on you, Isaack!"
"You're next, you lil' prick! Braska, Goblet! Quit messing around and take these two jack-offs down! Leave 'Mr. Alaistair' alive so I can beat the hell out of him personally," the drugged out mobster bellowed, snapping his fingers as he did. Braska came down with a roar, near animalistic in nature, and Ki charged in his knees! Alaistair, and hopefully Zerori, jumped out of the way, the giant shaking the entire factory with the strike!
Goblet made his way down next to Braska, claws out as he responded, "Yeah, yeah. We got this boss! Be quick with it so we don't get the BBA doesn't get on our asses!"
(Power Levels: Braska is at 75,000. Normal PL for Isaack is 2,200. Soldier Drugged Isaack (with no access to transformation) is 22,000. Goblet's at 15,000. I'll give the sheets out to the two of you guys in PM so you know what to expect later! Right now, work is calling!)

Zerori gave a simple nod to him after her inspected some of the troops. They weren’t her concern but a simple glance told her that they were heavily armed for an Earth group. Some of the species didn’t even originate here. Namekians, for instance, lived elsewhere but exactly where she didn’t bother to research. Legends didn’t interest her unless they led to money. And she highly… highly doubted that any legends they could produce were worth anything since she’d never seen a Namekian living the high life.
As they walked, she would give a grunt in response to his information. When mentioning the trading of exotic species, she looked at him curiously. Should she tell him that she might have met a couple of these ‘buyers’ and ‘pushers’? If they were going to work together, it might be good to mention anything related to his business but how would she go about trusting him? Keeping it to herself for the moment, she was stopped when Alaistair seemed to pause in mid-sentence. She saw what he did and narrowed her eyes in suspicion; two being fighting it out in an office like a cage match – is what it appeared like. Glancing at Alaistair, she could see recognition in his eyes and she looked back with a disconcerted gaze.
The two fighters inside the office were different in both power and appearance, one obviously not from the planet with the familiar Arcosian features she’d seen on Arcose. The other looked very much human, however and – surprisingly – more powerful. He’s got to be the guy we’re here for, She mused before looking to Alaistair with a soft mutter, “If that’s him and your boy, we should probably interfere now,” She could tell that the Arcosian wouldn’t last much longer in the state he was in.
The exchange between the Devil and the Human might have amused her were it not for their target calling for a ‘Braska’ to take care of them. With a chilling roar, Zerori jumped backwards, flipping into a back-hand spring before landing on her feet and looking up at the beast he had called. By instinct her eyes noticed the tail first and she could feel a very heavy burden of nostalgia roll over her. Instead of the fear she knew to feel as looking upon such a beast, she felt her lips curl into a grin. This… This is more like it! She scoffed at the interaction the two beyond the man in front of her and knew that if one of them didn’t stop Issac – he’d get away.
Without looking toward where Alaistair had jumped away from, keeping her gaze fixed on the saiyan before her, she yelled out to him, “Let me handle this, A’right?!” Her professional dialect abandoned, she now spoke in the accent she was born on Vegeta with. She raised a wrist to her other hand and grasp the manacle there, unclasping the latch there and letting it fall to the ground. As she released each piece, her gaze never moving from the saiyan in a bid to keep her gaze on him, she relinquished her weights until her power soared to it’s normal peak and she rolled her shoulder with a sigh.
A couple choice snaps and pops later, she cracked her knuckles and held her hands at her sides in an almost claw-like posture, “C’mon, you over-sized son of a bitch!” She goaded hi, picking the strongest opponent out of the three.
[Heavy weights removed; PL is now at 80,752.]

(Alright, I'll try to organize this as best I can. NPC portions will be marked off with lines under their bolded names.)
Braska Appa
These two moved out of Braska's impact zone. It got him pumping his blood! When was the last time he got to chase down rats like this?! The woman proceeded to take off some of her clothes, which crashed into the ground with heavy thuds! Her power soared, rising above his own. She demanded him attack him, to which he replied, in a surprisingly higher pitched voice, "Ahhhhhhhhright!"
He erupted from his crater, fingers curled into claws, at the woman! His movement was exceedingly fast! One moment, he was in a crater. The next, he was right in her face, trying to claw her head off its perch with his left hand! The right hand was situated, in its own claw-like form, at his waist.
(Real simple, @zerori. He has no KP right now, so he's flying right at you. Melee Combat engaged!)
Alastair and Goblet
Goblet grit his teeth, growling, "Damn it, Braska! Keep your wits about you!"
"Same with you, Goblet," Alaistair bellowed, lunging at Goblet with his sword in hand! The Namekian hopped over to the side, the blade nipping him on his cheek! Alaistair whirled around, sending a ki blast at Goblet's chest. The small shot collided with its target, sending the Namekian into the machines a few blocks away from the central building.
The devil shouted, "Goblet, why the hell are you and Braska fighting for this jackass?! You and the lad are more capable as my subordinates! Hell, I'd even help you with your problems with the Police force!"
"No no, not this nonsense again, Alaistair!"
Metal erupted from the pile with Goblet's response! He was pissed off and wasn't about to be treated like a fool! Alaistair quickly rearranged his stance to 'long-tail,' a stance involved with the blade pointed towards Alaistair's back side. It was a warding technique, usually meant for closer encounters. But, in a fight with someone who used ki blasts from a distance, the stance would be able to allow him to close in.
Goblet fired several blasts rapidly at Alaistair in a fit of rage. Most of the blasts weren't aimed properly, some even heading towards Braska and Zerori! However, a few did fly at Alaistair, who proceeded to bat some of them away with his sword.
Isaack and Trevor
"How many times... Times... Do I have to... Tell you?! You can't ta-"
"Wrong answer, boy!"
Isaack sent a large fist into Ijs's stomach. The Arcosian buckled over, holding his stomach as he coughed purple blood. Isaack knelt down and grabbed Ijs's head. He demanded, "I ain't got any more time, boy! You're going to tell me where you hid the damn ships! NOW!"

Fast! She noted in her mind as she pulled her head away and dipped herself backwards to avoid the slash from his attack. Instead of pulling herself back up right, she rolled toward her right shoulder and kicked out toward his legs from under him in a savage leg sweep. Spinning back around to face him she pulled an arm back to throw a fist right into his cheek. She wasn’t sure that it would be much damage but it was just the beginning of their little scuffle. If he was half the warrior saiyans were, size taken into account, her own focus would be on her survival and his death. Alaistair is just gonna have to tough it the fuck out if he wants him alive! She thought with disgust, kicking back into a couple of back-hand springs away from the gargantuan.
In the midst of the fight, she realized that being on the defensive and countering wasn’t going to get the job done. If this was truly business, and one she was already paid for no less, she needed to get this shit done. Eyes and genitals; no one can strengthen those! She thought with a snarky chuckle before dodging another slash that was meant for her head. This time, however, she made to grab for his wrist and throw a heel right into his face.
…Were it not for the blast that nearly clipped the side of her face and had her losing not only her balance, but burn a bit of her sight in the process as it grazed her temple. “Augh!” She gave a grunt and detached from the saiyan beast. A hand came up to cover an eye while she glared in the direction of the blast came from, “Don’t dick around, damn it! Pick an opponent you can control or not one at all!” Through her bitching, and foolishly looking away from her blindside, she would be hard pressed to notice what attack Braska might throw, but had a nice little trick up her sleeve for more ‘closer’ emergencies.

(Sorry about the delay, again! I'm getting sapped a lot lately, time and energy-wise. Probably gonna start getting this wrapped up. Also, it seems you're giving me a bit freedom with the attack on Zerori, but correct me if I'm wrong and I'll edit it.)
Braska
The saiyaness twisted her body and sent a kick to knock Braska off his feet! It connected and the saiyan was sent flipping upside down, but it wasn't over yet. Zerori slammed her fist into the saiyan's face and being knocked into the metal behind him. She made her way on her feet, while Braska ripped out of the metal and charged at the woman! He charged her again, quickly angered because he was being knocked around! He wasn't acknowledging that, perhaps, he should fight smartly! He slashed at her with another claw, his wrist being grabbed.
He would nearly be kicked, but a stray ki blast nipped her in the eye. Braska grinned as the woman got annoyed at Alaistair not controlling Goblin and sent a powerful fist into her gut, connecting and knocking the wind out of her. He brought the fist back and rose it above the saiyaness, knocking her flat onto the ground. Yet, he was not done yet! The giant saiyan jumped up high and quickly charged energy into his bending knees. The energy exploded to life in a brilliant orange display, though it seemed much weaker compared to his last knee strike!
(Braska gained 1 kp from the barrage and is attempting to use his N1, Shatter Knee. He has 75k pl currently, so he's coming in with a 24750 level attack!)
Alaistair v. Goblin
Zerori was getting annoyed at Alaistair for not keeping Goblin in check... Apparently not focusing on her battle with an equal to chew into Alaistair was more important. The consequence, Alaistair was able to hear. He didn't look behind himself, though, as he was in agreement with her. Letting this linger around too long would attract some unneeded attention and make it difficult for Alaistair to make an example out of Isaack! He called out, to Goblin, "As much as I want to continue this battle of ours and see how much you've progressed since then, I've business with Isaack," he explained, energy rapidly building up around himself in a black-red jet.
He wasn't going to hold back. His power shot up to practically Zerori's, albeit briefly, as he roared, "And you're in my way!"
"What the h-"
Before Goblin could react, Alaistair clotheslined Goblin and sent him down into the machines! However, the devil didn't want him getting up for some time, so the Devil followed suit with a dive kick! The two collided into the ground and Goblin's eyes went white with purple blood spewing from his mouth. His power dropped drastically, but he was alive... Just unconscious.
"My apologies, Goblin. I need to give that pig a lesson... ISAACK! GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE OR I'M COMING IN TO DRAG YOU OUT!"
Isaack and Trevor
"You may be durable as hell, but you'll break eventually... Where are the ships, frost worm? Where?!"
"N-No! I... I won't tell ya cra- GAH," Ijs got grabbed by his neck, getting strangled by the drugged out Warhog. Isaack's patience was running thin and he wasn't about to let the Arcosian's stubbornness get the best of him! The giant slammed the Arcosian on a steel saw table and flipped the power switch. The machine buzzed to life and quickly came to life.
Isaack leaned in and growled, "You're not the first dignitary I've had chopped up here for information, Trev. Now be a good lad and te-"
Heavy metal got sent flying through the window, knocking into the saw table and launching the saw blade out of its socket and into the wall across the way. Isaack was narrowly out of the way, but he was taken by surprise and released Trevor's nape as he fell on his ass! The Arcosian remained lying on the table, scared out of consciousness by what had just occurred! The mobster realized this quickly and slung curses immediately as he tried to wake the Arcosian!
Alaistair's voice boomed out, calling Isaack out. The giant continued cursing, looking around frantically for a way out. The pill he took was running out and he only had 1 left, but it was suicidal to take another at this point! After 30 seconds of cursing and rummaging about whilst the fight with Zerori and Braska went on, there was silence from the shed... A silence that Alaistair had been so familiar with in his life. Someone was going to pull a drastic move and it was not going to end pretty for anyone.
(Alaistair engaged transformation. Currently at 90k power level roughly, but will be dropping back to normal in the next post.)

If only she hadn’t looked away then maybe she wouldn’t be eating a sizable amount of dirt not meant for her stomach. As it stood, once she felt the fist dig itself into her gut and promptly displace some of her organs a little, darkness started to creep in the corner of her vision before she was on the ground and groaning. By the Gods, what is he made of? She thought with a growl, a hand raised to her head though the pain in her abdomen ached far worse. It wasn’t until she didn’t receive a third blow that she swiftly looked behind her at the 18-wheeler that was her opponent and almost didn’t manage to roll out of the way off his next attack. A few good feet of distance and she was back on her feet, one knee elevated on the ground for good measure as the other had her crooked at the knee but ready for a hasty defensive if necessary.
His attack had shattered the floor beneath him and left cater-sized dents in the metal that she was sure took some skill to craft. After all, buildings weren’t just made to fall or be destroyed so easily!
With a final gasp for breath, she leaned up as she got to her feet and thought quickly about what she could do. Her eyes took in each of his features; from the size of him and his muscles, down to the way he carried said weight and a thought came to mind. An old Arcosian trick she learned whilst on Arcose… and perfect for this scenario.
With a chuckle, she faked holding her side that was damaged and over-exaggerated her injuries. “D-Damn, you sure hit hard for a saiyan with no brain. B-Betcha can’t do it again…” As she did so, the device on her arm would begin to slightly blink, red at first before turning green he very next. And in her other hand, made possible by a simple gesture of her fingers, a device she usually kept hidden began to charge up a bit with electrical pressure. She didn’t have a lot of chance with this, especially if he got wise to her antics.
Bit at least this way, she’d see just how shocking her little toy could be…

(Alright, time to catch steam again! My bad on the wait!)
Braska
Braska collapsed into the ground, shaping the metal and concrete as he made a crater! It would shake the ground several blocks around the area! Yet, despite the mighty attack, it missed. Braska's opponent made her way out of there, and she begun to insinuate that Braska had been a pea-brained saiyan, like the rest of his kin! However, she would be in for a surprise. The saiyan rose out slowly, excitement still in his eyes at the battle, yet there was something off... He was analyzing her underneath the guise of excitement, as well as around the area.
The saiyan noted that Goblin had been knocked out quickly, with Alaistair having kicked up into high gear and was matching his own power. Braska's smile dropped, as he figured out what was going on around him and he wasn't enjoying it. He could sense energy building up from the woman's body, and could see a red light glowing from the manacle that turned green. Goblin had taught the powerful warrior to be mindful of his strength, particularly because people could track them. Unfortunate for the both of them, though, they didn't really attempt to master the art of concealing their energy. However, they at least learned to sense energy... And it wasn't gonna just be them soon. The presence of several people were coming in, each at least Goblin's strength without his Warrior heritage showing.
Braska growled in woe at this, uttering in his high-pitched voice, "Too soon..! Too soon..."
He turned away, speeding quickly over to Goblin's location and pulling his unconscious form out of the rubble. Goblin was slung onto Braska's shoulder, a grunt of air slipping out from Goblin as it happened. Braska turned to Zerori and shouted, "We'll fight without distraction later, Miss, and it will be glorious!"
With that, Braska shot a blast towards one of the far walls and proceeded to chase after it. It collided into it and created a gap for Braska to speed out of!
(Goblin and Braska leaving thread.)
Alaistair v. Isaack
"Well, Warhog?! What's your answer going to b-"
Alaistair's comment was cut short, as the impact from Zerori's battle shook the whole area! The devil shifted his eyes, as he shouted, "Keep that boy in check now, Zerori! Now..."
Alaistair looked back to the machine shop. Spirits felt as though they were dropping quickly, both from Isaack and Trevor. It was silent... Like that day, on that unknown world. The lone soldier was dying, as the devil kaioshin showed up. The soldier was cursing his luck, as the devil looked at him quietly. The one man who could change his world for the better was dying at the devil's feet... And the devil was not about to let it happen. He offered power and the ability to live from his wounds, for the request of servitude. The man was quiet for some time, and the Devil, despite his senses telling otherwise, could swear the man had died. Then, the surprise response came... This time was not much different.
Isaack called out, his voice not commanding the surprising strength it had before, "Alright, Alaistair. Ya got me..."
Shuffling and dragging could be heard coming to the door. Alaistair smirked and was preparing to sheathe his sword... Up until he saw a metal saw blade near Ijs' neck as Isaack dragged the green gemmed Arcosian through the door! The devil grit his teeth as he growled, "You wouldn't dare, Pig..!"
"Ah, but I would! See, I got what I came for! You, on the other hand, don't have what you came for and that's looking like a good scenario to me, ya son ov'a bitch... Braska! Goblin! Get over here a-"
Braska had gone, carrying the unconscious Goblin with him. The short human shook the saw in anger and stamped on the ground as he shouted, "You weaseling bastards! Get your asses back here!"[/font]
"They're gone, pig. It's just the 3 of us here now," the devil hissed, leaning forward and getting ready to speed at the human. However, the human brought the saw back to Ijs' nape, forcing the devil to stay in his place.
"I still got the upper hand here, guy! Don't even think about coming over here! I'm getting out of here and pretty boy here is coming with me as collateral! This saw's got a diamond edge to it and can easily cut up Trev's head off his shoulders before you can stab or blast me. So, I suggest you drop your sword and back off!"
Alaistair proceeded to do just that, his sword bouncing on the ground a good 30 ft. from his position in the air. He kept his eyes trained on Trevor, but as he did, he opened his mind and reached out to Zerori's. He told her, "Zerori, don't say anything out loud. I'm talking to you through your mind, so speak with your thoughts. Let the two go and be ready to move in. I've got a plan, but it relies on your speed. At the end of this, you'll get the rest of your pay, as well as access to the bar and grill any time, wherever the Loft may be at... Got it?"

Planning wasn’t always something she was good at, especially in the long-run but short-sightedness wasn’t a problem for her! Using the heat of battle to her advantage was what made her a deadly hunter and she took pride in that. Watching the warrior before her notice her little plan was embarrassing; she was found out so easily that it induced a slight rage in her face when the large saiyan didn’t rush at her like she wanted him to. He was smarter than she gave him credit for but that wasn’t going to spell out his victory; no, she had a million ways to survive. Escaping, on the other hand, wasn’t in the list of the things she expected a large, intimidating fighter to do. As he declared that something was much ‘too soon’, she didn’t really understand until her scouter started to beep about something in the distance.
They were getting reinforcements? When the hell did this happen?
He didn’t intend to let me handle this at all, did he? She realized with a incensed growl, turning back to Alaistair as the warrior before her declared that they would continue another time. She snarled at him, “Another time won’t happen if I slash your motherfucking throat! Get back here, you coward!” She yelled, but he was already blasted through a wall and booked out of there. With a roar, she was about to release her attack into the surrounding floor around her when Alaistairs voice invaded her thoughts.
Glancing at him from behind her shoulder discretely, she listened to his instructions. Sure, he infuriated her with how demanding he could be and she’d like nothing more than to show him who was ‘boss’ – but clientele were hard to come by with such treasure and she wasn’t going to let her pride get in the way… this time.
At the end of his words, she let out a huff before standing to her feet and walking over to the Demon Lord. ”Do this how you want to, but explain your plan quickly. If it’s clear, I’ll give you my speed, Old Man.” Playing it off, she hissed loudly, “So, what? You want to let ‘em go or what? If so, fine – I’m still getting paid, even if this is a crap-shoot,” She tilted her head at the man in question, hostage in hand, “You gotten take your time catching your breath or just stare at us with a blade at his throat?”
She wasn’t going to waste the energy that was charged so far, so she let it remain in her manacle – gathering electricity to become even more deadly than before.

"Quick and simple... Rip off his arm holding the saw with that power you were going to use on Braska," Alaistair relayed quickly, his voice and power becoming vastly calmer than before, "I'm going to taking his attention off you. Provoke him a bit."
"Alright, alright. Sword's on the floor. Lets be reasonable, though," Alaistair explained, pausing for a moment as Zerori asked if she was still gonna get paid for her work. To it, he agreed, "Aye, indeed. You'll be able to get your cash later. Now, Isaack. How're you going to get away though? Surely by now the Blue Banner police forces should be coming in, no? With the amount of power being slung about, they'd be coming here with an army! Heck, even that monster of a woman might stop in and pick up a little snack..."
"No, shut it! That shitty force ain't coming, and most certainly, that wench ain't gonna come here either!"
"Really? I mean, you're holding a fairly known trader and peace talker of the Arcosian empire hostage, just to get a few weapons... Actually, I've been wondering about that! What sort of weapons are you looking at? Laser beams? Rail cannons? Way too big for a small fry like yourself..."
The saw whirred to life with a pull of a trigger, as he shouted, "I am not some simple small fry, brat! I'm Isaack 'The Warhog' Horatius, war trader and leader of the Western Capital mafia! That ain't out of my league and I'm not about to be usurped because of maniacs like yourselves decided to use your crazy magical bull shite! I will gut him with this saw blade..."
In his fit, the mobster rose up his saw arm and pointed the saw at Alaistair. The devil sent out the command mentally immediately, "Now! Rip flabby arm off!"
(Alright, your turn!

His instructions, thankfully, were simple and straightforward as she stared at the pig-headed human. She eyed his weapon as Alaistair continued to vie for his attention and divert his intent away from her. The mention of a couple familiar names and the mention of a 'monster' woman nearly had her questioning their knowledge.
Tertiary knowledge. Stay focused, She reminded herself, throwing out a taunting grin at the human, "Oh, tough guys gonna kill his hostage? That'll keep ya on the top, won't it? Pathetic little human..."
She waited, and waited a little more until the old man literally screamed in her ear and grimaced as she surged forward. One hand grasped the wrist that held the saw while other quickly came up to slash into the man's under arm. With a loud 'SCHLICK', the limb separated clean off and was tossed off to the side where it landed with a meaty thud on the floor. He would have inevitably let out a cry, one which she would ignore with a dark chuckle as she pushed him back from his little hostage.
Grasping their man, she held him up by an arm as she looked at him with a detached expression before looking back at her victim. He was more entertaining to watch as he reacted to her 'disarming' of his diamond-toothed saw. Gently pushing the hostage away from the scene toward the Demon Lord, Zerori sauntered over to the dismembered limb and picked it up, eyeing the saw specifically.
"Hm... Yeah, this is nice. I'll take this, too..." She mumbled with quiet interest before placing her hand where the handle was and slowly cooking the arm, "Oh yeah," She grinned at Horatio. "-Not gettin this back." Having a little fun wasn't so bad, was it?

Zerori landed her strike! Perfect! Yet, she was a bit aggressive, considering the man being weaker than she was by such a gigantic margin, but it wasn't a mattter to Alaistair... It was nearing the time for Alaistair to 'plasticize' his objective into the harbor of the Western Capitol, one of the areas with the most numerous people since the destruction. Alaistair sped over to Ijs and pulled him away before he fell to the ground! Isaack didn't expect the immediate attack, what with his anger getting the best of him! With Zerori taking the diamond edged saw, and his arm, from him, he was left defenseless and screaming in pain! He shouted, "You freaking bitch! How dare you! How fucking dare you! I'm going to- Gah!""Silence Pig," Alaistair interrupted, slamming his foot into the wound heavily and pinning the pig down, "Your life is forfeit now... I now command it!"The devil slammed his fist into the man's face, the force too much for the human to manage. His neck created a sickening crack, ending the life of the man quickly and making him fall lifeless onto the metal floor. Alaistair, without a beat being missed, picked up the dead body and the Arcosian. He looked to Zerori and told her, "Feel free to go back to the Cherry Valley Loft and collect whatever items you feel would be appropriate for your 'pay,' Ms. Zerori. I will contact you at one point in the future. For now... I must make a message to the city and the world with our Piggy here..."With the message, Alaistair sped off, flying through the gap that Braska left and heading towards the harbor. His spirit lowered, as did his power level. But before he got without ear range, he mentioned, "It's time to show the world the path of consequence...!"(I decided to keep it short and discreet here. Gonna be doing a 'training post' to explain what's happening between this and when Alaistair left. Requesting Power Level here.) **NOTE: Gleciar Avierno has requested Power Level for this thread as well! He kinda bowed out of the thread earlier, with loss of interest.**

Zerori looked over the saw as if she were appraising the price of a new piece of art; the truth wasn't very far, however. Denizen was a man of many talents and she knew she needed a new weapon soon.
Looking back her employer, she gave him a saccharine smile, "Hey, sure thing Chief. See ya soon," She gave with a wave of the saw before turning around. The last thing he would see was her back before she disappeared in a gust of whirlwind.
