[Heavy Weights EQUIP]
''Kah! Ugh!'' The resounding echo of vicious impact rang out within the confines of the base known as Site A, the android research facility belonging to the Banner. Currently, Liang was wondering how exactly a massive brute of an alien was clutching him by the head, suspending him off the ground, and beating his guts into mash. With scuffs and scars adorning his body, he mixed blood with spit behind his teeth and growled as the freak of nature handing him a beating gave him a cockeyed look. ''Don't tell me that's all ya got, now. My employer said you guys were worth the trouble of traveling all the way here, and all I get is a punching bag? I gotta tell ya, i'm insulted. How dare you bore me like this?'' Pushing his face forward to stare right into the human's eyes, Liang took the opportunity to spit his dirty mixture right into his eyes. Clutching them in pain as his vision clouded with red, the human dropped to his feet and slammed his fist into the aggressor's stomach, letting out a fierce scream as he activated his Intense Struggle. The brute's heels began to slide in the dirt until he was launched from his standing position across the courtyard, slamming into a vehicle and denting it to a point of painstaking repair. ''You petty raider! You have the gall to come here, attack us, and then discredit the Captain of our most elite forces!? I'm going to show you exactly what humanity is made of!'' While the whole ''Captain'' thing wasn't exactly official, he liked the ring of it lately, being it's all his men called him anymore. Gasping for air for a few moments as his opponent lie limp against the metallic frame, he let loose a fevered growl as he blasted across the courtyard intending to deliver some due punishment. He was stopped, however, by a pair of fighters that had accompanied the ''brick''. ''Not so fast, Earth-trash!'' ''You fight one of us, you fight all of us!'' ''Shit.'' Bracing himself for the incoming assault, he found himself pushed back through the air to the point he started trying to deflect the teamwork flurry of attacks.
Just as he was about to vanish and try his hand at reversing the situation, the last of the group sailed in from his blind spot and delivered a punishing flying knee to his ribcage. Letting loose a pained yell, Liang spiraled toward the far wall and slammed through it, landing on the other side in a heap. Coughing heavily, he clutched his side and groaned before sitting up. ''Clearly you don't know what the term ''Special Forces'' means. This is a joke; are we really getting paid for this?'' ''Shut your mouth. I'm still alive, and i've got no intention of letting any of you leave here the same way! I don't care if it costs me my life, you won't touch the Blue Banner as long as i'm breathing!'' Little did he know, however, that his men were sending a distress signal for backup. They had no idea who would arrive, or when, but it was clear the Captain of KAOS had bit off a bit more than he could chew. As the space-crew formed up in front of him, the human rose to his feet and his aura surged. With the grass around him ripping up into thick clouds of blades in making way for his aura's invasive power, he let loose a defiant scream as he began his sprint across the landscape. As the distance closed, he watched the arrogant fighters form up into a team formation, readying their individual combat stances. ''Even if it kills me...I can't let them win! I won't repeat my mistakes from West City!''
''Captain!''
''Captain!''
...What? He blinked suddenly as his earpiece buzzed to life; he must have left it on.
''Captain!''
He could hear the voices of his men cheering him on. He couldn't lose; he refused to. Even if at the end of the day every bone in his body had been broken, he wasn't going to let this mercenary trash stand in the way of his promise. ''HaaaaaAAAAAAAHHHHH!'' Increasing his pace, he made a bull's charge against the team of five warriors, closing the distance rapidly. This was going to end one way or another, and the Tiger had made it very clear he wasn't going to give in, no matter the cost to himself. He had more than a reputation to uphold as the Captain of the KAOS forces; he had a personal promise to follow through with. Backup or no, he was going to see this through.
Previously....
''Captain! Captain, you've been sleeping all day. I hate to be that guy, but you should probably get up. The Administrator won't be happy if he decides on a surprise inspection and you're still in bed.'' ''Yeah, yeah. I hear you. Thanks.'' The soldier hurried out of the room as the warrior got himself dressed, rubbing the back of his neck tiredly as he made his way to the mess. Getting himself some late breakfast and enjoying his time with his men, they fell on an interesting topic. ''So, um, Number One?'' ''Mm?'' Realistically, it was tough to talk through a mouthful of tamagoyaki and nori, so he hoped his curious noise would suffice to express his curiosity. ''So like...what happens if we ever get attacked? You're tough as nails, but what if something comes along...well, y'know.'' Gulping down his delicious meal (compliments to the mess chef,) he responded simply. ''If it's something I can't handle...call for backup. I hate to admit it, but the Administrator is so far above me that it bothers me. I wish I could live up to my title, y'know? But I guess sometimes even the strong need help. I won't like it, but if it's gonna save my ass, then by all means.'' As his men chuckled along with him, enjoying their food, Liang was met with an unsettling reality. ''I...have to be stronger. I have to be more than this.'' With his pride starting to become his greatest obstacle, it was clear that he probably needed a stern talking to.
Just as his monologue began, it sharply ended.
''CAPTAIN! CAPTAIN!'' Another of his men having finished his breakfast hours ago rushed up to him, panting heavily. ''What's wrong!? Tell me!'' ''Our radar picked up a team of powerful signatures closing in on the base! We're not sure who may have sent them, but we're understaffed for this kind of threat. What do we do? Should we signal for backup?'' Standing from his chair, Liang ejected the pressure sinks from his EMA-PAKS Bracers, replacing them swiftly and locking them in with a click. ''Let me handle this. If some upstarts want to challenge us, i'll put them in their place. Don't worry, i've got this.'' Smiling genuinely, he clapped the comm officer on the shoulder proudly; he'd trained his men well, and now it was time to show them what he was all about. As the audible crash rang in his ears of five space pods blasting into the earth outside, he turned his back to his men. With his ki sense instincts ringing loudly in his head, a small bead of sweat ran down his forehead; he couldn't show his stress. If not for his own sake, for his soldier's. ''...Sit tight. This might take a while. Take every defensive measure we have planned. I want a full lock-down of the facility. As soon as I exit the hatch, you lock it out immediately. Understood?'' ''Y-yes, Captain!'' Wasting no time in making his way to the exterior, he arrived just in time to witness the pods opening up to reveal a conglomerate of alien species who looked nothing less than overly excited for the fight to come.
''You picked the wrong base to raid.'' He smirked as the reinforced steel doors smashed shut behind him.

(Thread PL: 3,133,072)
Emergency. Emergency. Level One Alert.
Vi-Poi sighed, his large blue eyes opening slowly as he pulled himself out of his meditation cycles and picked up his MUG, taking a slow sip of the bioelectric nanogel he’d prepared. It had a taste similar to plankton, his chemical algorithms decided. He rather liked it. He hung on the edge of a glassy patch of ice, suspended atop the fractured rim of an immense Lunar crater. Even here, in the silent serenity of the moon, he was not free from the world’s problems. “What is it now?” He asked, drawing up the relevant alert file. A Level One Emergency was the highest crisis call, meaning there was at best a main base under attack, at worse all the cities on the planet in flames. KAOS would be responding. Vi-Poi peered down at the pearly blue marble of Earth. It looked quite serene from here. He swept it with a cursory scan. No huge power levels. Though there was an odd fluctuation, in the Southland archipelago.
It was a distress call coming from Site A, the Android Research Complex.
Vi-Poi sprang from the crater wall and hurtled off towards Earth, lancing down into the atmosphere faster than a moonbeam. His ki crackled in great forks of electricity, his aura traveling on waves of heat as he descended in a fireball, only cooling himself at the final stages of his descent with a rapid twist that puled the fire away from him. He landed crisply in the thick and jungle-laden brush, just near the long concrete teeth that made up the forward wings of the complex’s bunker-like testing facilities.
The guards at the main gate were dead. Corpses strewn in a bloody arc that became jagged smears of red gore as he entered the outer airlock. The huge pressure doors had been blown open with ki strikes. Heavy power signals emanated from below – he recognized one as Liang’s. It was familiar, yet different. Faint, as if he’d been wounded, but stronger somehow.
He made his way to where the fighting was, in an inner courtyard near the facility’s main control station. Vi-Poi’s pale face lit up with a small smile. A squad of alien mercenaries, some from species he’d never witnessed before, had given Liang a good thrashing, but the tough human was still on his feet, and wearing the new EMA-PAKS bracers, the sleeve gauntlets red with heat and hissing with smoke. The enemy squad was arrayed in battle pose in front of him, but Liang charged at them anyway, in true warrior fashion.
“I can’t let you have all the fun, Captain!” Vi-Poi announced, then somersaulted the dozens of meters to a place ahead of Liang, not blocking his charge but where he’d be plainly visible. Some of the powers they faced ranged in the hundreds of thousands in battle rating. This would be no cakewalk, even for the strong android.
“You’ve stepped out of the frying pan and into the fire.” Vi-Poi warned darkly in his smooth voice, twisting on his heel in a dramatic pirouette. The air around him crackled in a strobing cacophony of colors. “Captain Liang!” Vi-Poi announced, a knife hand gesturing towards the Tiger School master.
Vi-Poi activated his multiform, two of his clones immediately propping up the third who performed a masterful reversed bow while glaring at the opposition from between his greave-clad thighs. “Administrator Azure! Together, we represent the mighty Ki Assault Operation Squad! Face the Kay-Oh Squad, and that’s what’ll happen, you’’ll get KO’ed, must I spell it out!?” The blue-haired android yelled dramatically, shaking clenching his fists.
(KAOS Pose [SU] learned)
They seemed to be filled with an appropriate amount of dread and wonderment. Vi-Poi and his clones glanced over at Liang from their position, hoping to find the fighter in a suitable fighting pose that would rival their attackers.

“I can’t let you have all the fun, Captain!”
...Adminstrator?
Liang's eyes shot wide as he regained his sense. He'd allowed his pride to blind him, if only for a moment; a move like that was daring to be sure, but being outnumbered as he was meant that he probably would have been in even worse condition for it. His mind clearing, he could now feel the Bracers' tight vice grip on his arms; if he pushed them any further, he was going to injure himself and be in even worse shape. Watching in wonder as Vipoi performed a splitting technique and began running through the motions of a surprising battle pose, Liang felt his morale renewed. He diverted his sense to fall in line in front of Vipoi, sliding in a crouch on his heels as he ejected the heat sinks in the Bracers which hissed with relief. Putting one knee forward and maintaining his crouch, he let instinct do the talking and tossed his arms in swift motions before fanning them out into a down-slanting V shape, remaining crouched to not only highlight and compliment the pose behind him, but to show his renewed vigor that he was ready to fight to his fullest! After staring down the enemy squad, their own formation seem to falter; clearly they believed their pose ability hopelessly outmatched in the face of this kind of teamwork. After the point had been made and the pose face-off settled, he rose to his feet to stand in line with the Administrator, swiping a fresh sink off of the in-line of each bracer and sliding them into place, smirking at the click of the lock mechanism. Tightening his fists and drawing his arms back to his waist, knuckles parallel to the floor, the motion closed the slides which also locked and he began to channel his ki through the devices, extending the elbow pistons.
Letting loose a kiai around him involuntarily with released energy as he once again activated his Intense Struggle, he sank into his fighting pose, his eyes scrolling over to his superior and comrade. ''It all happened like a flash. One minute I was sitting in the mess, and the next, a comm officer came bursting in talking about picking these guys up on radar. I told them to sit tight, but the ones outside in the courtyard couldn't get away...'' He frowned, obviously feeling guilty as he surveyed the destruction and gore around him. He wasn't going to let this slide, especially not in front of the Administrator of all people. Facing down the team opposite theirs and locking eyes with them one by one, he awaited the first of the group brave enough to make a move; with how they had been operating so far, though, it was fairly unlikely it would be just one rather than a pair or even three at once. It could have even been all five. It made him think back to his gravity training with Cipher, fighting mercenaries much like the ones he was facing down now. Extending his fingers into a knife-hand position, an orb of ki formed on his right hand above his middle finger. Sweeping it back as it flooded with energy, he swiped the hand in a chop at the group. ''Mystic Aura Assault!'' After the orb's launch, it split into several which arced out and away, and then back inward toward his chosen impact zone; the dead center of their formation.
In doing this, he hoped for at least one of two results. The first being the breakup of their tightly packed formation, and the second was to provide a smokescreen to cover the Blue Banner retaliation, leaving them guessing whether they split up or not. His fighting spirit rekindled with the appearance of his commander, it was well and clear that the Tiger was ready for round two. Clicking on his communicator briefly, he heard a roar of support from the soldiers watching on a video screen from within the base before smiling to Vipoi, making sure he could hear it before he clicked it back off. Remembering a green alien residing on the left flank that had spearheaded a pincer attack on him earlier, he made a curving beeline his right side, their formation's left flank, where he remembered the individual to reside. With the billow of smoke, he might have been lucky enough to catch him by surprise and forcefully remove him from the adjacency to his allies. He had a feeling he'd be a lot less comfortable under those circumstances, as long as the blue one could be kept in check. Curling his fingers inward as he arrived at the target point and joining them in a claw-handed blow, the Bracers let loose a burst of pressure and propelled him forward as the pistons retracted by a small chunk. He was aiming dead center for the torso, hoping to blast him across the courtyard where he could properly dismantle him one on one.

Cipher had heard the call, and had come to the facility as quickly as he could. This had been the place he had been first brought to when the Blue Banner Army had found him. It was there that they had retrofitted him, made him suitable for combat. It was there that his career in the Blue Banner Army, and as a defender of the planet, had begun. It could almost be considered the place of Cipher's rebirth into the military officer he was today. And someone had the nerve to attack it! He wasted no time getting there, finding the place trashed and numerous guards dead, as well as the craters where five space pods had crashed. Thankfully, due to his ki sense, he had managed to find where the fighting was taking place. He could sense that Liang was already there.
He had arrived in time to see the Administrator's rather, erm, unusual display. He had split himself up simply to perform those poses. When Cipher had read something about that in the information packet when he was brought into KAOS, he had made a point to promptly forget it. His rather interesting encounter with the simulator with Liang had reinforced the fact that Cipher was NOT going to do that. Now, he knew Vi-Poi was one of the most powerful beings on the planet, and Cipher in no way wanted to fight him. But it was REALLY hard to take him seriously when he did something like that.
Thank goodness there were people to fight. Cipher could focus on that and quickly suppress that memory.
He hadn't been noticed yet, mainly because of their leader, so he kept to the side and watched as Liang launched his attack at the group, kicking up smoke around them. Within the smokescreen, Cipher could tell the five were definitely moving, either to avoid his comrades attack, or to get a better position. As Liang shot for the group's left flank, Cipher decided to assist and shot for the right, almost a white blur as he shot into the smoke, making a beeline for the closest power level he sensed. The new upgrades to his system really made it easy for him to discern just where the target was. His feet lifted off the ground as he made a diving kick, striking his target straight into the side. The man let out a satisfying grunt of pain as he was launched back, even hitting another of his comrades on the way out.
Anyone outside the smoke would suddenly see two of the five hostile aliens fly out of the smoke, bouncing on the ground before quickly recovering, just as Cipher lept out of the smoke, his green eyes fixed on the duo. Trust his luck to find himself with two opponents again. This was starting to become some sort of trend, along with fighting giants. Lord prevent the day he had to fight two giants at once.
"Who the hell are you?" one of the raiders growled, rubbing his side where Cipher had struck him. Cipher calmly shifted into a fighting stance.
"My name is Cipher 24." his voice was dead flat as his eyes started to glow, "And you are not welcome here."
Cipher prepared himself as the two aliens charged at him.

(Vi-Poi fighting in Mastered Multiform [SU3] mode, 3-way split, 1,044,357 PL each)
Vi-Poi decided to fight with his multiform active, his processor and ki generating split three ways as they reacted in real time to their surroundings. Fighting this way would provide a more-even numerical challenge to their opponents, and it would be more fun besides. He could feel the shadow of Poi leap on his circuitry at the opportunity for such a battle. He hadn’t really let go for weeks.
Liang’s kneeling pose with vee’ed arms in front of the pyramid of Vi-Pois was an amazing display of perfectly aligned, geometrical dread, as their enemies shrank back in hesitation from the fierce display.
When Cipher 24 arrived, Vi-Poi noticed with some disappointment that his robotic cousin did not initiate a KAOS fighting pose, but rather quickly initiated a fighting stance. Cipher was one of the most dedicated KAOS fighter, but how did he expect to create appropriate amounts of dread without a proper pose? He was pleased to find, however, that the dark-haired android had raised his power level substantially since they had last cross paths. Ki expansion allowed an android to withstand the vigorous upgrades that would cripple weaker and less attuned systems. Cipher must have been training, and training hard.
Just as the Tiger master had been. The three Vi-Poi’s smiled in satisfaction at hearing the cheers of the BBA soldiers, the tip of the pyramid falling softly to the floor as he unwound from their Fighting Pose, each clone landing in a flying chevron formation – two at the flanks of either Liang and Cipher, one near their midpoint and closer up. Liang’s Mystic Aura Sssault peppered the enemy squad with a rain of ki, and created veils of smoke that the seasoned KAOS fighters used as screens for further attacks. It was smart, and Vi-Poi followed suit, his first clone flickering behind a yellow-skinned alien with ram-like horns, while the two flankers suddenly pincered quickly towards the center, entangling themselves in a lightning brawl with a massive four-armed brute that stood more than double their height.
It would be a good fight.
(Got some fun ideas, dependin' on how things go XD Let's make this a nice slugfest if yall want! KAOS is bacckkkkk

[Post-Weightless Base: 87,064. Intense Struggle Active: 261,192]
Feeling his curled knuckles strike bone, Liang wore a satisfied smirk until the smoke cleared and he realized that within the smoke, the squad must have changed positions before his arrival. He had struck the leader instead, sending him in a recovering backwards hop after colliding with the floor. Keeping his eyes sharp to his surroundings, he watched as the rest of the enemy team were now very much occupied. He had intended to remove his weights before Cipher and Vipoi had arrived, but seeing their unrestrained power meant he wasn't keen on not showing his own in return. As the enemy Captain rose to his feet and blinked, his Scouter lit up and started going crazy. Liang could hear the crazed beeping from his standing position as he straps of his weights were undone and the gear was hurled behind him, slamming into the floor with a loud thud and a cloud of dust. His opponent seemed shocked at the reveal of the human's now-correct power level in his transformed state; 261,192. Bouncing from one foot to the other to get himself nice and limber, he smiled. ''Whew! It's been a long time since i've had to fight without restraint. Let's get started; you've got plenty of payback to receive, you freak.'' Adopting his combat stance with the Bracers at the ready, he sized up his opposition as the teal aura rocketed at him like a bullet. Twisting his upper body into a powerful punch that met knuckles, a small wave of force erupted from the impact zone before the two locked themselves into an intense dance of high speed combat. With his power unrestrained, his opponent found himself feeling as if he were fighting a different person altogether; the human smirked as he delivered a twisting kick to the same ribs he'd already struck, launching the alien away before he sped after him in pursuit.
His potent clear-white aura signaling his arrival, he vanished in an Afterimage beneath him and plowed a fist straight into his stomach, halting his trajectory and causing him to clutch the area hit. Zipping above him, he stomped down from the air straight into his back, halting after the stomp to watch the invader crash into the floor. He'd had the element of surprise by removing his weights, and it was unlucky he'd land something that effective again anytime soon. The top of his uniform still very much in tatters from his earlier beating, he grunted as he shredded what was left of the fabric away, using it to tie off a small open wound on his right arm. Wiping a mixture of blood and sweat from his forehead with his forearm, he braced himself for the impending retaliation; he was too focused on the fight to get a read on his opponent's energy, but if he was capable of that previous combination he was confident he was in good shape. Taking a moment to survey the field, Cipher's luck seemed the same as he'd always remembered it. He was faced with a two on one situation, but it was clear he'd somehow grown a lot stronger. He knew Vipoi was immensely powerful, but just couldn't sense him; the fact both of his allies signatures couldn't be mapped with his senses did bother him a little, but it was an easy enough thought to shrug off given his current situation. He had far more important things to worry about.
In this desperate situation though, he felt something strange inside of him. It was more than just an empowered will or bolstered morale. He felt as if his very soul was calling out to him, driving him to win the fight. While he hadn't realized it, his own energy signature had begun to slowly climb past that of his Intense Struggle state as he landed back on the floor a little over a dozen yards away from his enemy, who suddenly vanished from the floor. The human's eyes opening wide, his eyes shot around the room, wondering what the mercenary was planning. A teal light gave him his answer, and he stared up toward the ceiling to see a quick-fire energy ball formed in the captain's palm, ready to crash down right on him. With no time to move, he instinctively tossed up his Sanctuary, but it wasn't enough; the barrier shattered and he was caught in the explosion, a cloud of smoke hiding him from view. Crushed beneath the ball and injured further by the ensuing explosion, Liang struggled to his hands and knees, staring up at the mercenary. As he approached, the human rose to his feet defiantly. ''Just stay down already! You stood up to my Beta Bomb; I can give you that much. But it's time for you to die, Earthling. I've got a contract to collect!'' His hand cloaked in searing teal light as he struck forward, something kicked in as Liang's aura began to surge, taking on a slight orange tinge as opposed to the normal clear-white.
Catching the strike at the wrist, he stared dead into his opponent's eyes as his energy level began to skyrocket. Reeling back and violently striking the alien in the face, he sent him bouncing across the floor at breakneck speed. Bringing his hands back to his sides, he focused his energies into a tight, contained lockdown all at once before letting them explode as a single mass, causing his physique to change to that of a bodybuilder's; gone was his sleek and athletic toned build, in favor of a bulky, powerful, muscular form. The custom-fit Bracers ejected from his arms under the strain of pushing against the sudden muscle, luckily still intact but just requiring minor repairs. Surveying the field briefly before staring down at his hands, he blinked in surprise. ''What...is this? Is this what I felt when I spoke to Daiki? This is that power I wasn't strong enough to tap into. So I have made progress after all!'' He stared to both of the androids, clearly just as surprised by this new development or perhaps even more-so than they possibly might have been. His now light orange aura cloaked his body, the edges sharp and powerful.

Cipher could sense the sudden spike in power from Liang. It was good to see he had gotten stronger too. That beating he was getting earlier just looked embarrassing. Unfortunately, Cipher couldn't really focus on his teammate right now. Right now he had his own problems.
Cipher had wound up finding himself battling two of the five raiders at once. And unlike his superior Vi-Poi, he couldn't simply split himself into copies to fight them. One was a purple lizard looking humanoid, while the other, pink in colour, reminded him of some sort of aquatic invertebrate. Both were wearing the same armour as the other raiders.
"Alright Mr White," the lizard taunted, "Let's see what you can do!"
Mr White? Was that seriously the best insult he could come up with? As the lizard shot forward, Cipher fluidly shifted his body to avoid the strike, bringing a sharp knee to the alien's side. He then lept back, narrowly avoiding a pink arm that seemed to stretch across the room at him. Seems the pink guy had the ability to stretch his body. He gave him another quick glance, making sure he wasn't fighting a Majin. Those were notoriously difficult to defeat.
Both aliens rushed him, with the purple reptile getting in close, while the pink stretchy one kept back, using his flexibility to throw shots from a distance. Cipher had to admit, the two seemed to work well together. They were timing their strikes so as to not hit one another. It was taking a bit of effort on Cipher's part to avoid getting hit. However, Cipher had trained in this sort of thing, having fought that duo in the simulator. His quick, fluid movements allowed him to avoid the incoming blows, all the while looking for an opening to counter attack.
Then he got it. As the pink alien threw a stretched punch, Cipher quickly grabbed hold of his wrist, giving it a good, hard yank. The alien was yanked off his feet, his elastic limb pulling him towards the android, just as the reptile took a swing. The two aliens collided, almost falling onto Cipher before the android delivered a sharp kick to Purple's sternum. The two aliens crashed to the floor in a tangled heap as Cipher lept back, energy forming in the palm of his hand.
"Pale Lance."
The pale green beam shot out towards the two. Purple's eyes bulged as he rolled to avoid it, the beam grazing him in the side with a painful yell. The attack seemed to shoot straight through Pink's mid section, much to the alien's surprise. Purple yelled out in pain as he rolled on the floor, clutching his burned side. Cipher had personally hoped he had scored them both with that attack, but taking one out would be ok.
The android then blinked as Pink climbed to his feet. How had he survived that? He had hit him straight in the stomach! Watching the hole in his armour, he saw pink flesh suddenly moving in place to cover it.
Damn. He was able to shift his body to avoid the attack? Just how flexible is this guy?
Purple growled as he stood up, clutching his side. Cipher could see the hole he burned in the armour, as well as the scorched flesh underneath. That looked like it would cause problems for him. At least some good came out of it. He brought his arms up, eyeing both aliens as they charged towards him, determined to resume their attack.

The burly ram-horned fighter stood to his and gave an odd smirk. Flying through the air, he performed a blurring roundhouse kick towards Vi-Poi. The blue-haired android twisted his lithely-armored body to the side and quickly launched into the air. The two exchanged blows, circling each other as they rose like a cyclone of clashing arms and legs into the air. The yellow-skinned warrior was nearly as strong and fast as Vi-Poi in his triadic multiform, but only nearly so. He couldn’t keep up with him entirely. When they rose above the others, Vi-Poi grabbed the fighter by his thickly-muscled forearms and slammed him into it, causing a slight dimple in the ultra-hard armor across the alien’s chest.
The fighter recovered with a strong two-handed ki blast that pummeled Vi-Poi into the courtyard dirt, knocking his circuits senseless for a long moment or two before more ki shots rained down upon him in an immense rain. Vi-Poi grunted and protected himself with raised forearms and forelegs, curling up into a ball. He quickly threw out his ki through his comm channel, and a perfect sphere formed at the cardinal points around his body. The frothing ki strikes hit the surface of the beryl sphere with their immense pressure waves, but no significant damage was done. The Barrier had absorbed the incoming waves of spirit.
The four-armed alien was becoming a dire challenge as well.
A great weight of one of the alien’s fist slammed into Vi-Poi’s first clone from behind, knocking his active systems senseless. The blow flung him down hard, his momentum scraping him into the dirt and throwing up a large furrow of earth. He looked up at its huge boot, the foot eclipsing his vision, and quickly shielded his head with his arms just before it came crashing down.
Luckily, his second clone blocked the attack with an extended shin, his greaved leg meeting the boot with a metallic clang and delivered a full-bore ki blast right into the mercenary’s chest. A dense puff of smoke spewed out all around them as the quadra-armed hulk flipped end over end before regaining his balance.
Vi-Poi was amazed by the fighting prowess of Liang and Cipher. Both had exhibited remarkable increases in battle rating. If their ki expansion rates remained constant, they would surpass Vi-Poi himself in a matter of weeks. Cipher had an impressive new core that his analytics were still trying to make sense of, and Liang had developed a technique he’d never seen a human use before, one that nearly tripled his muscle mass at no detectable loss of speed or agility. Incredible!
It was no wonder that the two had made such excellent KAOS members. As his downed clone righted itself, both Vi-Pois unhinged their left arms, exposing the wide bore of their ki conduits. A sharp electric whine began to rise in the air before he unleashed a twin Supa Bazooka upon the mutant mercenary, the bright wash of ki illuminating the entire base.

Liang took his currently advantageous position's calm to survey the battlefield in further detail, checking up on his android comrades. He watched Cipher's experience in being outnumbered come full circle as he countered a team tactic by using one of the pair's strange rubbery abilities to his advantage, lashing his opponent's arm like a whip to crack against the reptilian alien he'd partnered up with. Kicking them away into a heap of discombobulated limbs, he wasted no time in tossing out his signature move, direly injuring the reptile but somehow leaving the stretchy one still standing. Liang quirked a disgusted brow at the repulsive-looking ability. Just when he thought the reptile was down for the count he rose, though visibly injured. He likely wouldn't be fighting at full capacity from now on, but arrogantly charged on with his elastic comrade regardless to try to resume their offensive on the pale android. The way things were going, it probably wasn't going to end well for either one of them. Now keeping himself mostly alert, he shifted his view to Vi-Poi, attempting to get a good gauge of how his bout was faring. It seemed he was in a similar situation as Cipher; it was originally a two on one situation, but the Administrator's clever tactics had solved the numbers problem pretty quickly.
Even with things evened out, it seemed as if Vi-Poi having split up might have made things a bit more complicated. Liang assumed his power was now divided, otherwise he likely would have thrashed his opponents. Watching the exchanges of energy and strikes, he noted a lot of surprises had popped out of woodwork in this large brawl. He decided to remain alert on their fights as well as his own; if one of them managed to claim victory, it would only be a matter of time before the trio took out the rest and cleaned up shop. His eyes darting back forward to watch the leader clamor to his feet, rubbing his jaw and giving it an audible crack and pop. He looked somewhat unsettled now that his human opponent had gone all out; to signify this, he simply held his ground and postured himself into a defensive stance, likely awaiting Liang to restart the match where he could try and find an opening to fight back, all the while gauging Liang's new output of power, strength, and speed. Standing tall and staring him down, the human took off in a flash, thundering across the floor in a wild sprint with a flurry of dust kicking up behind him. He watched as the alien braced himself for the impact of the first blow; upon arriving, he threw a feinting punch before twisting into a backhand which met air as his enemy ducked beneath it, attempting to counter with a body blow.
Continuing the momentum of the backhand, he used his free hand to slap it away at the wrist, bringing both arms back in series for a standing backhand-hook punch combination, satisfied upon its connection as a mouthful of mercenary spit was emptied into the air. Following this up with a flurry of floating kicks, the ending knee was caught and he was tossed into the air, the mercenary following up with a swift leaping uppercut to gain some more distance. Rolling backwards near the ceiling, Liang took a little time to try and figure out what his opponent had up his sleeve and found the answer when he curled both arms behind him only to fling them forward and loose a large, continuous barrage of energy bolts. With a greater freedom of movement in the air as opposed to the ground, Li zipped about in the air managing to swiftly evade the fine majority in what seemed like it took minutes when only seconds had passed. He'd dodged himself into a trap trying to evade the last few, and a billow of smoke erupted from his floating point in the air; when it cleared, his crossed arms were covered in scuffs and minor burns and he couldn't help but notice his opponent looked a bit spent. Huffing for breath, Liang didn't give him the chance to recover and dashed forward, his aura gleaming around him as he smashed his fist into the same side of his jaw as earlier. Increasing his speed output to follow after in pursuit, he slammed into him again with a knee and continued the assault to batter him across the room; strike, pursue, repeat.
Using an Afterimage to swiftly reposition between the alien and a wall, he grasped him by the collar of his armor.
''Taaaaaake....'' He whirled around, switching their positions with a heaving, muscular arm to line his head up with the wall, then lurched outward to crash his head into the surface. He increased his speed and took off along the wall, sending fragments of debris scattering down from the air to rain onto the floor. Heaving the same arm back, he readied himself to fire off his adversary like a cannonball. ''THAT!'' Spiking him with all his might at the floor, the mercenary Captain landed with a resounding crash, skidding on his chin before launching forward into a series of wild, uncontrollable flips and rolls. ''I've got a good answer to your fancy little Bomb!'' Grasping his wrist quickly from his aerial position, he flooded ki into his palm, creating a platform of energy. An enraged, crackling orb soon surfaced, pulsing with power and energetic electricity, floating excitedly above the ''platform'' in his palm. ''In fact, it's one better! SUPER MYSTIC CHASER! HAH!'' Hurling it like a fastball down toward the ground, he held his hand toward the construct with his fingers outstretched, palm showing, and as he moved his hand the orb shifted and gradually curved to follow the alien's wild trajectory. Just as he finished the last backwards flip, the sphere collided with his chest and exploded, enveloping him in orange light and black smoke.
Landing swiftly, Liang gasped for breath.
''If you're so fond of energy attacks, try one of mine!''
He could sense the mercenary was still alive, though he had to be fairly injured after that kind of enraged combination.

While battling multiple opponents was nothing new to Cipher, these two opponents in particular were starting to become a bit of a problem. With the lizard being wounded by Cipher's attack, the two fighters had traded places, with the pink, squishy alien getting up in Cipher's face and using himself as a shield to protect his comrade. The alien's flexibility translated pretty well into durability, leaving Cipher to wonder if any blows he landed were having any effect on him. On the plus side, the lizard was having more difficulty getting any blows in, allowing Cipher to focus more on the pink alien.
Cipher grunted as another blow struck him in the chest. Though being an android made him more durable than a human, there was only so much he could take, and the fight was starting to wear on him. He moved to block another punch from Pink, only for Purple to slip in a quick punch to the side. He had to turn this fight around, otherwise he'd be finding himself on the receiving end of a massive beating. And to go down to raiders like this in front of his comrade and superior was simply unacceptable. Although Pink's flexibility made ranged attacks difficult, and regular punches ineffective, there was still one thing he could to.
As Pink lunged in with a punch, Cipher shifted to the side, suddenly grabbing hold of the limb, as green energy formed in his left hand.
"Damocles Knife!"
The energy blade struck the alien right in the upper arm. Pink froze and spasmed as the powerful shock ran through his system. His eyes bulged as he collapsed to the floor. Unfortunately, since it was only in the arm, it wouldn't hit it with all of its power, but it seemed to be enough to inflict heavy damage on it.
The purple lizard gaped in horror. "P'Tol!" he yelled out, falling to his comrade's side. Cipher paused as he watched this display of caring. Guess there was some honour amongst these bandits. Purple glared up at him, still feeling that his partner was alive. "Come on P'Tol, let's show him what we can really do!"
P'Tol gave a weak nod and then something both shocking and amazing happened. P'Tol seemed to almost melt, slipping out of his armour and beginning to encase Purple like some sort of living suit. Cipher watched as he doubled in size, muscles rippling as the pink covered everything but his head. P'Tol's eyes appeared above Purple's face, both of them staring at Cipher.
"Let's see how you handle this!" he yelled out, charging at Cipher. Cipher quickly brought his hands up to block as the blow sent him sliding backwards. It seemed that their combination also increased their strength. And no doubt any blows Cipher made would be reduced by P'Tol's squishy armour. He kept his defense up, blocking the numerous blows the combined alien launched at him, though he knew he couldn't keep it up for long. As he threw another punch, Cipher shifted to the side, shooting forward and delivering a jab right to Purple's exposed face. The alien yelled out as he stumbled back, clutching his bruised nose. It seemed that any blows to his exposed parts worked well. If Cipher could chip away at that gooey armour, he could have a shot at beating him.
Besides, since they combined, Cipher now only had one opponent to focus on.

Vi-Poi would have been impressed with this enemy squadron, if they hadn’t proved so troublesome to defeat. He’d rarely been pushed this hard since the Battle of the West, when he’d collided with the Super Saiyan at superluminal speeds. Now he was pressed nearly as hard. He could sense through his multiple clones the great ki exchanges raging around him, but his focus was triangular in nature. The yellow rams-horned alien had been proven more than a match for one of his clones, and the quadra-armed behemoth had sustained the double Bazooka, and was still holding out with great fervor. He was slowly working the creature’s defense down while drawing the rams-horned further in, but it was growing increasingly difficult.
The yellow brute was winning. His blows were coming in harder than Vi-Poi could contend with without suffering serious damage, and his movements were those of a crisp and battle-hardened veteran. He wasted no energy or momentum; he was very nearly machine-like. It made Vi-Poi have a new level of respect for his enemy’s efficiency. Still, he could not let it derail his stratagem. He let the attacker pummel his defenses, his thin arms becoming peppered with bands of bright green bruising. Just before a spearing fist broke his faltering defenses, his second clone broke off from the triangular array and reformed with his beleaguered clone while his third screened against the four-arms by activating a confusing pattern of afterimages.
With his power now doubled, Vi-Poi made quick work of the ramshorned. He no longer was on the defensive, and his strikes were causing massive dents on his armor and loud snaps of his bones. In a short amount of time he was a bloody mess, crumpled on the floor of the courtyard in defeat. He quickly rejoined with his last clone, his restored energies more than a match for the massive alien as his hands shimmered before he delivered a bright and florescent pink blast at point blank range. “Diet Chocolate Beam!” He yelled, freezing the creature in mid-attack. With a roaring puff of smoke, the massive alien was suddenly reduced to a wafer-thin chocolate candy in the shape of the four-armed alien. Vi-Poi snatched it from the air before it fell to the ground and flew up above the fray, taking a quick bite.
It tasted a bit salty. “Hey!” He called, revolving slowly around the fray below. “You two need any help?” Liang seemed to be having issues with another hulking alien, and Cipher was battling one of the strangest beings Vi-Poi had ever seen, one who seemed some kind of gelatin-covered fusion of two species.

Liang retained his focus; his opponent was down, but not out. Finally regaining his breath after an attack of chest-heaving, heavy panting, his forehead loosed a few beads of sweat upon the already ravaged, bloodied floor around him. Some fresh blood mingled in with the secretion, diluting it briefly beneath his feet as his brown eyes refocused on the task at hand. Posturing himself into a defensive pose and fully suspecting a counter-offensive coming his way at any moment, he took one last survey of the battlefield while he had the chance. If he was going to offer aid anywhere, he had precious seconds to spare in doing so. Turning his head to eye Cipher first, it seemed his two opponents had activated some sort of strange combination ability; the wounded alien had taken on the elastic-powered one as some sort of tough, gooey combat armor which was a bit of a double edged sword. On one hand, the pair would be tough to damage; on the other, they could be taken out together instead of having to worry about them both working in concert independently, effectively making the fight a one on one bout. Turning his head the opposite direction to the Administrator, he smirked as he watched him dismantle his opponent with a strange energy ray that changed the aggressor into...chocolate? Diet chocolate, at that. Creepily specific as that was, he'd still claimed victory. When he questioned if either of them needed help, Liang's response was cut short by a roaring teal aura coming from the cloud of smoke. The radial kiai released from the explosive focus of energy caused the smoke and small littered debris scattered about the floor to be tossed about in a maelstrom, carrying some of the fresher blood with it in a sickening display that splattered it anew across the floor. Sizing up the alien as he focused, Liang narrowed his eyes and tightened up his posture to be ready for (hopefully) anything.
''Ridiculous....RIDICULOUS! I...refuse... to be put down by some HUMAN!-'' His muscles bulged outward slightly, his eyes taking on a fierce glow matching his aura. ''EARTH!-'' Liang shielded his eyes with a bulky forearm against the whipping whirlwind of power. ''TRAAAAAAASH!'' With a bellowing battle cry, the alien mercenary captain let out a lung-tearing cry of anger and frustration. His aura whipping about his body, he moved with inconceivable speed. As he flashed across the room at Liang, his comet trail ripping up the floor behind him, an almost constant afterimage of his form flickered behind him as he reached top speed. Right as Liang corrected his form and prepared to block, the creature's speed beat his reflex to the punch and he took a powerful kick to the stomach. Letting loose a mouthful of spit, a slightly more bulky fist connected with his chin to sufficiently obliterate his defenses. A pummeling storm of furious fists rained down upon his battered body, with the alien seemingly appearing in more places than one to deliver the aggravated assault. His new transformation affording him a greater measure of power, Liang quickly had the polarity of this battle reversed, and power-bombed right into his face for good measure. As the final blow sent him sailing to the floor, he landed in a heap raising a spire of dust and dirt from beneath the what was once sturdy floor. He twitched several times to cling to consciousness, bolting up with just enough time to avoid the re-aimed piercing-handed strike meant for him earlier.
Seizing the opportunity with the alien's hand momentarily stuck in the soil, Liang tackled him in a brutish, formless fashion and pinned him between his knees before he began raining an assault of ground and pound blows across his face. The human roared in defiant fury as they increased in speed, leading to a last ax handled blow straight into his nose after a few moments of battering. Drips of blood falling from his fists not of his own, he looked at the battered and mangled knuckles on his right hand in confusion before grimacing and striking a blow with the battered bones once more for good measure, a hiccup of rocks and debris accenting the force like the ax handle before it. It was clear it was time for desperation, and where once the Tiger had known focus and control, he was releasing the beast and running wild for this bout. Quickly rolling off of him to stand again, he gripped him by the head and attempted a heavy-handed blow before an Afterimage led the alien to safety. Twisting with an elbow worthy of a thug, elbow collided with alien fist as the fight had taken on a new, violent theme entirely. Shortly after the dead-stop, the fighters both threw a heavy-handed haymaker that both found their mark, slamming straight across the chins of one another. It was clear the two were beginning to wear out what with all their heaving in desperate attempts to regain stamina to continue the fight, but soon they'd be reduced to the most basic of brawling to decide the victor for good.

"That's ok. I can handle this," Cipher responded to his superior's question. That was definitely one of the more, unique ways to dispatch an opponent. Why diet chocolate though? If Vipoi was anything like Porsalynne, he didn't have to worry about putting on weight. Anyway, he could worry about the administrator's dietary habits later. Right now, his unusual opponent wasn't exactly happy with Cipher's rather flippant response.
"Handle this!? You'll handle this!? We'll make you pay for that disrespect!" the combined alien shouted, lunging forward to attack Cipher. The android darted backward, the alien's large fist slamming into the floor, breaking the concrete. Though Cipher was confident in his abilities, there was still the issue of the alien's strange armour he had to deal with. There was one technique that might do it.
I need to get him outside.[
Cipher kicked off of the ground, shooting past his opponent's head. The alien moved to dodge, expecting an attack to the face, but turned in surprise when he found that his opponent seemed to be running away from him, heading through a hole in the wall.
"HEY! GET BACK HERE!"
The alien spun around, clearly furious. First his opponent treated him like he was nothing, and now was leaving without finishing their fight? Unacceptable! The combined alien turned and charged after him, following him through the hole and outside of the facility. He was surprised though to find his opponent waiting outside. Was he...smiling?
"Well...that was easy." Cipher replied calmly. This seemed to infuriate the alien even more. What the hell was he babbling about? With a furious roar, the alien charged, throwing a punch that caused his arm to stretch. Cipher quickly moved to avoid him, not seeming too concerned. The alien snarled as he threw punch after punch, getting closer with each swing. Each swing, Cipher casually moved to the side, avoiding the anger fueled blow. He couldn't wait to get his hands on him.
However, as he got close enough to grab him, suddenly Cipher vanished.
"What the!?"
Suddenly, a sharp blow from behind sent the alien spiraling through the air. The blow itself didn't hurt much, due to the squishy armour, but the force of it was enough to knock him a good distance. The alien spun around, eyes burning.
"You think that was enough to...uh..."
Cipher was below him, charging up energy between his palms. At first the alien seemed worried, but then a confident smirk appeared on his reptilian face.
"You think that would work? You saw how effective that attack was last time right?" The alien laughed. He seriously thought Cipher was going to try the same attack twice? He was in for a big surprise.
"Hyperion Cannon..."
His opponent had expected a thin, narrow beam of ki, like last time. Not the enormous ki beam that was now heading for him. All four sets of eyes widened in horror as both mind realized what was happening. The alien let out a piercing scream as the beam engulfed them, a thunderous explosion echoing throughout the mountain area. As the smoke cleared, any trace of the alien was gone. A small, satisfied smirk appeared on Cipher's pale face.
"Dodge that..." he said softly. Well, that was his fight done. All that was left was to await Liang's victory.

Vi-Poi focused on his two friends. They were hard pressed, but didn’t seem to need any help from him, at least not directly. One of the wounded mercenaries was attempting to struggle to his feet, and the blue-haired android coldly ended him with a searing hot beam of ki that split him in two. He watched as Liang moved on the defensive, pitted against a teal kiai. The hulking alien clashed vigorously against the captain and Tiger master, but Liang was a crafty fighter, and was able to use his new metamorphosis to his advantage, and where the alien was a seasoned fighter, a master of martial arts he was not. Liang was able to batter him backwards soundly, throwing him to the ground.
In their final great clash, a novice might think they were evenly matched, but Liang clearly had the advantage. His rival’s ki was wilting like a dead flower.
Before he could gauge Cipher’s progress, he’d disintegrated the living-armor and the opponent beneath it in one mighty burst from his Hyperion Cannon. “Amazing work!” He said, clapping Cipher on the shoulder. “I’ve always been impressed by your ki techniques. Now if only we can get you in a proper fighting pose!” Vi-Poi exclaimed with a cheerful and jovial grin. He looked over to Liang, arms akimbo. “What do you think? I give Liang twenty more seconds to blast this guy to smithereens. Over or under?” He asked Cipher, then, a bit more seriously. “I have in my mind some new upgrades, but I will possibly need both of your help in… getting where I need to be. We’ll speak on it after Liang has had his fun.” He said, glancing sidelong at his robotic cousin. “How are you handling your upgrades? Any undue strain on your systems?”
(Never felt more like a proper ginyu force XD We need some big Saga drama together soon! Cooking up ideas > ) ( Liang your turn:) )

The two combatants roared at each other as they charged back into the conflict after the momentary stop that the shared blow forced. Both of them re-posturing to deliver the blow again, Liang's strike found the mark first; his entire upper body lurched forward, causing him to stumble after his momentum's carry; the alien on the other hand stumbled backward, tripping over his own feet in a stunned fashion. Before he could recover, the human charged him down and sank a fist into his gut, the flesh around it caving against the force. Driving the knuckles upward, he lifted the teal aggressor off of the floor with a boisterous shout, causing the mercenary to heave spittle and vacate a small choke of blood from his mouth. The fluid drenched Liang's forearm, causing him to wince before ducking down and blasting off into the air, carrying his opponent upward in an uppercut before letting him float by vanishing from beneath him using an Afterimage. Appearing above him and tucking into a backward spin, he brought one powerful leg down in a backwards somersault kick that sent the mercenary sailing from the air down into the ground. The teal captain caught himself on all fours in a spread, defensive fashion before regaining his footing, staring up at the human KAOS fighter above him. His breathing ragged, his bared his teeth and snarled through them with the most primal of rage. Liang was using his prowess in physical combat to buy himself time to prepare another energy attack, but he was now debating on whether to bolster his stamina to finish this the old fashioned way instead of causing more environmental damage to the base than what had already been done. It was unlikely he'd be able to lure the enemy outside; he was fast enough to not allow him to escape long enough to do so.
His definitive answer came with what the teal alien had chosen to do next. Using what little remained of his stamina reserves, he drew a palm out to each side and raised them upward, charging his ki into two slowly forming spheres of energy. ''You handled the Beta Bomb pretty well for a human, but that wasn't the ace I keep up my sleeve. With this next one, i'm going to level this entire room, whether I hit you or whether I don't!'' Liang folded his arms and began to focus his energy, humbled by the alien's strategy. His chi began to flood into his muscle fibers, granting them a second wind if only for the brief while he needed it. ''Normally i'm not a gambling man. Do you think you can charge that and fire it before I get my hands on you?'' If he could talk him down from it and simply beat him down, that would've been far preferable. ''Ever since your little transformation you've had this cocky attitude that I couldn't wait to beat out of you! The question is if you can stop me from firing the Double Beta!'' Energy surged around the alien captain, and Liang stared him down as his light orange aura began to flare around his body into a rekindled spire. With a glare and an angered baring of his teeth, he blasted downward toward the ground. The alien shifted both arms backwards to throw, fully confident his human opponent wasn't going to find his mark in time. In an instant, Liang vanished from sight, and his elbow appeared buried deep into the mercenary's spine. The orbs vanishing from his painfully interrupted focus, he lurched backward and roared in pain.
''I told you when you first showed up here...'' He swiftly locked his arm around the mercenary's bent-backward head, leaping off the ground and allowing himself to fall at an extreme descent. ''YOU PICKED THE WRONG BASE TO RAID!'' As soon as his heels hit the floor, he leaned sharply forward and slung the alien's body against his back and shoulder, his arm forcing the teal alien's head to snap violently backward over his shoulder. His neck cracked sharply and audibly, his eyes going blank as his aura seemed to simply vanish into nothing all at once from the sudden execution. Liang allowed the corpse to limply fall from his grip, the body rolling off to his side. Peering down at it for a few moments, he let out an exhausted breath of stressful air and shuffled his way over his comrades, his muscle mass gradually decreasing as he made the trip over. His knees began to shake in exhausted stress, causing him to plop down onto his rear and wipe a thick layer of sweat, dirt, and blood in a caked mixture off of his forehead. He gave an all-too-cheerful thumbs up to the pair of androids, his demeanor almost having immediately changed away from the fierce, primal warrior witnessed only moments ago.
