((Thread PL: 21,988. Cobra's Strength: 65,964 Cobra's Strength currently Inactive. Fang Blade currently not in possession))
Heat. The only thing you could truthfully say about the Desert was that It was Hot and It was sandy. Some people might trudge through the Desert or maybe Crawl, but not Bing. Bing was one of the Few people in the world who enjoyed the Desert and It's ridiculous heat. Bing had arrived in the Desert yesterday, His recent Battle with a Group of Serpent-Men had shown him that he needed to become more accustomed to the Heat so Near-death experiences like that wouldn't have to happen again.
On his Way through the Desert he met a Strange man in Rags. He had a Hunched over Posture and no Teeth. The man looked at his Gi and smiled toothlessly. "ah, I see you are one who Lives by the Serpents code! Follow the Vipers tracks and you shall find what You truly Need to become truly Strong!" As the man said this he disappeared. Bing, Having nothing better to do, Decided to follow these "Vipers Tracks" to it's destination, whatever It could have been. He found them Relatively Easily and followed them to wherever It lead him.
"This could be a trap, Why do you trust that man so easily?" Tang said, appearing from inside a Dune. "Because he seemed trustworthy. What's wrong about a man who has bad posture?" Bing said jokingly.
He continued walking for a while, hoping the place he was heading to would appear soon.
((To clarify, the Emblem on the front of Bing' Gi has been changed to Kamis emblem. the one on the back is still Serpent))

(Heavy Weights On) (Thread PL: 1,317,816 (With Weights: 329,454))
The desert hid many things. Life. Death. Purpose. It was all cloaked here, amidst the obfuscating, fickle sands. One day a strong wind would howl in from the World Sea, and blow a billion grains loose of their moorings, and the bones of a long-dead warrior would be uncovered. But the warrior’s purpose had been forever swallowed. What woebegone war had the owner of those bones waged and lost? Had there been a good reason to fight and die? Or was this the skeleton of a mouse on a wheel, mindlessly scampering towards oblivion, blinded by the scent of a prize?
Vi-Poi stood, brushing his greaved knee off. Whatever the warrior’s purpose had been, it had been swallowed by the Fortuneteller’s Desert, and lost to time. A few much more recent corpses were strewn around him, blood making wild and vivid blossoms of crimson upon the golden sand. Their stories he knew, at least most of it. They were Messengers of the Red Eclipse, some group of criminals who’d turned cultist, as far as he could discern. Blue Banner’s Special Corps information on them were vague at best – they were a nascent nuisance, but a growing one. They’d stumbled near the Zero-Zero Shipyards, while the blue-haired android had been making a visit, and killed some guards along the way. Finding them, chasing and destroying them had all taken mere seconds. Vi-Poi examined their ruined bodies with a pitiless, calculating gaze. They were surely dead, but there had been little more to uncover from their demise. None of them had spoken much beyond exclamations of surprise, and none had offered any surrender. These had been dedicated souls, whatever their cause.
Then his built-in scouter made a chirp of alarm. There was a power, somewhere off in the far dunes. Vi-Poi could not calculate its exact weight at this range, but it was significant. He charged his blue kiai around his darkly-armored pale body, and burst from the sands, leaving the corpses to their doom.
Could it be another Eclipser? Vi-Poi charged his systems to maximum, just in case.
Soon though, it became apparent that there was no chance of that. It was Bing. Vi-Poi easily recognized his ki signature. It had grown stronger though, by a good measure, since they’d last met. Perhaps even doubled! Humanity’s potential for growth, when properly allowed, never ceased to amaze the android. Perhaps in a short amount of time, Bing would surpass even Vi-Poi in ki mastery.
He slammed down into the sands a good ten meters ahead of the human fighter, kicking up a great whorl of grains. “Out for a stroll?” Vi-Poi asked jovially. “If you keep going in the direction you are for another twenty kilometers or so, you will reach yet another secret base of mine, and I will begin to think that you have either a very strange fate or a very intense fascination with our installations.” He said, lowering his head with a smile on his pale face, his eyes blinking slowly.
(Gonna be fun to thread with ya again If you want to add any action, NPCs, events, don't be shy! I'm up for just about anything)

Bing continued walking for a while, following the Viper Trail for what seemed like hours. Suddenly, A strange wind blew towards him. It was definitely Not a normal type of wind however, It was the type you would see when someone Powerful was heading towards you. Bing stopped for a moment to prepare for whoever It was that headed His way. To his pleasant Surprise It was Vipoi. "Fancy meeting you Here Vip, I guess the worlds smaller than I thought." Bing said with a Smile. "A Stroll was definitely my original Intent, but I met a strange man In the desert who told me to follow these Tracks to find 'True Power' I figured I would follow It just in case he was telling the Truth." Bing pointed to the Barely noticeable Trail in the Ground, It looked similar to a Snake.
Bing laughed when Vipoi mentioned his Secret base "Maybe you should move your secret bases if They're so easily found, But We'll probably pass right by It." He continued walking and Beckoned Vipoi to join him.
Regardless of whether or not Vipoi starting following, Bing would say: "So tell me, Who made you? I assume someone made you, but then Again you could have made yourself."
(I have a plan, We'll probably reach It in my next post because It would be boring to walk for too long.)

The short and unassuming blue-haired android twisted his mouth in thought. “True power? What is that?” He asked skeptically, his large blue eyes hooded in thought. He scanned the sinusoidal line in the sand. “You met another out here? I did not detect anyone.” He said, before examining Bing for signs of dehydration, which could also bring delirium. He seemed well hydrated, but it was always hard to tell with these humans. One minute they were bright as the sun and full of vigor, the next they were slumped and near coma.
He began to walk alongside Bing, keeping an easy pace, sand kicking up around the sleek armoring of his dark boots.
At Bing’s question, he hesitated, then decided to explain his origins. “There was once a human child named Poi, a young scion of some well-to-do family of the West Capitol. Being the second brother in the family, he was trained for fighting and not for managing the household. He attended a Turtle School of Martial Arts offshoot in the city, where he had some promise, but only just.” Vi-Poi raised his eyes to the horizon as they continued their walk. “He was an afterschool city rat, always hunting for new adventures in the less welcoming sides of town. One day, something curious happened to Poi. He ran along a sewer grate that straddled a lonely laneway between two abandoned shops, and crashed through. He landed in an exhaust duct, and tumbled through a series of chutes until he spilled into a blackened room, bereft of any doorway.” Much of what Vi-Poi relayed was from his own recollection. “The only light in the space was from a single computer console, slumped low from its original parameters by the long and unstoppable grind of Time. He tried to leap his way back to the surface, but the duct’s opening was high, and he’d yet to learn the Bukujutsu technique. In his despair, he climbed inside one of the few capsules in the bunker that were still powered, hoping to find a communication device of some sort so that he could call for help.
“He found no way out, no line to the world. All he found was another isolated being, a computer intelligence. The capsule sealed behind him, and he was doubly trapped. Though the intelligence tried to free him, much of the gears and the program’s own code was corrupted and damaged. He lived out the rest of his years in that metal casket, kept hone by the life support systems of the capsule. But one day he died…” Vi-Poi said, trailing off for a moment. “And the computer intelligence tried to remake him, but couldn’t. So the only solution was to combine itself with the signal memory of Poi’s brain, his thoughts, his being. And so I was made. That is why I am named Virtual Poi. I’m the living, mechanical ghost of him, in a sense. By the time I was fully-forged and left the bunker, several decades had passed since Poi fell down that chute. Though I am a perfect facsimile of him, more perfect, really, all of Poi’s immediate blood relations had died. There was no one to relay events to. And so I sought out new meanings, and new purposes. One of them, is to make a more stable Universe.”

"Not exactly sure what the old man meant But It sounds interesting Enough, So I figured I'd follow the trail and see where It leads." Bing looked at the Trail and noticed It was getting slightly Thinner as they went on, Becoming as small as a Toothpick eventually. He watched It as best he could but It was getting hard to see.
He listened to Vipois story intently, Nodding as he went. "That's...Certainly depressing. I'm glad you were able to find Purpose in this world. It's good to have a purpose." Bing tried his best to keep the Air Light-hearted, but that depressing story Made Bing feel a tiny bit uncomfortable.
Bing continued watching the Trail get smaller and smaller. It was as small as It could possibly be for normal humans eyes to see It when suddenly his head bumped Into an Enormous Desert Temple that had risen from the Ground! "Was that there a Second ago? I feel like It probably wasn't." The Temple was Massive, at least as tall as a Skyscraper and It had Windows here and there, Sand was pouring out of each hole. The Temple was caked in Sand in fact, some of It slowly Fell off but most of It stuck to the Ancient Structure.
Bing looked to Vipoi and Smiled "So, Shall we begin our expedition?" regardless of Vipois answer Bing would enter through the front door and Begin Exploring. The Temples main hall had Doors in every direction, some even leading Downwards. He picked a Random Door on the Left and Ran through. On the other side was even moor doors which he continued to Sprint through, each one leading to another Set of Doors. After about a minute of running through Doors, Bing found himself in a room that housed a Massive Statue of a Serpent, It was old and in Disrepair but It still looked like a Serpent.
The Statue had writing on the Base that read: "To Find True Power you must Wrestle It from my Furious Jaws" Looking up at the Statue, Bing noticed a Glint of Something in the Serpents Mouth. He flew up to Find that It Was a Sword. He put his Hands on the Hilt and Smirked. If Vipoi was with Bing he would look to him and say "What do you think? Should I pull It?"
If Vipoi Said yes or wasn't there Bing would forcibly Rip the Sword from it's Rocky Hilt.
If Vipoi said no He would wait to see what else he had in mind.
((Just letting you know that Saying Yes will cause something Strange to happen. You can choose what that "Strange" thing Is.))

Vi-Poi blinked up at the Temple that had suddenly appeared before them. His circuits whorled in confusion. Sand was layered heavy on its sides, and more seemed to pour out from its windows, as if this were the source of all the sands in this great granular sea. He wasn’t certain how it came to be himself – old stories told that there were zonal magical disturbances in the Fortuneteller’s Desert, and he hadn’t believed it until now. He stepped into the temple behind Bing, charging a small ball of bluish-white ki between extended fingers in one hand, holding it out like a warding flame.
He kept up with Bing’s zigzagging easily enough, his Heads Up Display automatically tracking him while also scanning the interesting-looking hieroglyphics that showed lines of ancient-clothed people worshiping gigantic serpents. It wasn’t long before they ended up in a large and cavernous chamber, whose central piece seemed to be an immense and time-worn snake statue, the limestone faded into a husky gold by the long stretch of time. From its mouth sprouted the hilt of a cruciform sword, its quillons glowing softly with promise, its blade still bright despite the centuries it must have remained within.
After reading the inscription, Vi-Poi spoke, “I believe you should use caution, but do so. Your battle rating is more than high enough to deal with any sort of traps these primitives could engineer.” He said, folding his arms. There was the danger that whatever magic had thinned this Temple from the air could also be triggered in some negative fashion should Bing draw the sword, but he said nothing of this. The chance to observe a magical force in operation was, in the Black Magic Android’s eyes, a positive and not a negative. Besides, in all likelihood, the magical consequences would be weighed against the sword drawer only.
As Bing drew the sword from the stony mouth of the viper with much effort, the snake statue seemed to wobble. Vi-Poi at first thought that it might be rarifying due to the strain put on its old and brittle structure, but no, it seemed to be shimmering with some sort of visual-warping illusion.
Vi-Poi opened up his Magic Operating Gadget and streamed his HUD input for analysis. There was certainly a magical force involved here. His systems categorized both Transfiguration-Class Magic at work and Magical Materialization. He took a short step back. Magic was an unpredictable force, much less reliable in observation than ki energy, for instance. It could move and leap in unforeseen ways.
The statue was hardening from its soft and worn limestone into a deep red hue, its scales sharpening until they were richly and vividly detailed. It’d become an immense, living snake, one that glared at Bing and Vi-Poi with malice. The blue-haired android attempted to scan the creature with his built-in scouter, but magical flux was interfering with his devices. The creature reared back, a hood of flesh springing up on either side of its fanged mouth as it hissed, dripping venom that caused the floor beneath it to smoke and rot.
It reared back, ready to attack…
(Figured we could use some action Make its PL whatever you think reasonable for you, it will also have magical qualities that make it competitive for Vi-Poi I figure.)

Bing wrenched the Sword from it's ancient hold. The Statue shook and warped, It seemed like It was under-going some type of transformation! Bing flew back a bit and watched as the Serpent Statue took full form and wriggled a bit, shaking off the excess stone that rested on It. The Serpent looked at It's two new guests and hissed at them, causing hefty amounts of venomous slime to droop from it's open mouth. It shot it's head forward towards Bing, forcing him to dodge downwards. The Giant Serpent smashed into the ceiling, forcing massive chunks of the temple to crumple.
Bing flew around the Chunks of rock at top speeds, dodging each one just barely. "I don't think thing is gonna mess around, Time to get serious!" Bing said as he landed near Vipoi. He Focused his Ki for a moment before a surge of hidden power burst from him. He engulfed himself in a Brilliant Emerald Aura and began to charge towards the Serpent, Intending on stabbing straight through the Magical beast with his new sword.

Vi-Poi watched as Bing weaved between the falling rocks of the ceiling. One of the boulders smashed Vi-Poi in the head, though the rock burst into pieces rather than do any damage upon his system. Still, Vi-Poi skipped backwards into the portal of the room, putting more distance between himself and the giant serpent. The creature’s energy signature was fluxing around fifty thousand, but his Magical Operating Gadget was clicking with excitement, meaning that this great snake also possessed magical prowess.
Another surprise leapt upon Vi-Poi’s sensors. Bing had just tripled his battle rating, summoning a bright green energy aura. The blue-haired android’s eyebrows rose. He’d sensed Liang work something similar before. Did all humans have this potential locked away inside of them? It was a troubling notion, a deeply worrying one. It meant that these ki-sensitive humans contained within them the means to compete on galactic scales with the other higher profile races.
It’d be a danger to civilization, should Earth decide one day to expand into the cosmos and contend with the interstellar power-mongers.
When Bing charged the serpent, it delivered a broad swipe of its tail at him, coupled with a stream of black and acrid venom that caused even the air to hiss with smoke. Suddenly, Vi-Poi’s systems went on full alert. His MOG was slowly changing in tempo. Something else was here. Some utterly alien system was peering inside of him, weighing his electronic soul.
Vi-Poi’s shadow leapt off of the temple ground. It was a utterly opaque void of blackness, two dimensional in appearance, a mobile silhouette. Vi-Poi blinked at it in confusion. A dark fist slammed against Vi-Poi’s face, smashing him back against the wall. The entire temple shuddered, the wall cracking. Vi-Poi tried to get a read on the dark construct, but it was as if he was being attacked by the air itself. Nothing showed on the scans. Was he being hacked? He couldn’t detect an intruder any longer. What manner of magic was this?
The shadow seemed to hold no interest with Bing, who was being thoroughly attacked by the massive hooded serpent. The black silhouette was intent on Vi-Poi and Vi-Poi alone. Its limbs blurred out in a familiar combination, Vi-Poi raising his forearms and shins barely in time to shield his more-vulnerable torso from the blows. The shadow was using Vi-Poi’s own martial arts against him!
Vi-Poi yelled for Bing to be careful and leapt back through the hall. The shadow pursued doggedly, a dark tremor above the ground. Amazingly, a wave of black ki was thrown from its whirling arm. Vi-Poi deflected it to the side, resulting in a tremendous fireball that doused them both. He was knocked from his feet and cratered into the wall, bouncing off and rolling. The shadow came on, rolling with him, jabbing at him with swift knifing hands.
Vi-Poi struck back, throwing his fist forward. It hit with a satisfying thud against the shadow’s face, pushing him up and away, giving the android enough time to scramble back and to his feet. Still the pitch-dark limbs came flying, and if it weren’t for them being techniques he was utterly familiar with, Vi-Poi would have been overwhelmed. It was like fighting some wicked mirror of himself.
Vi-Poi’s eyes widened, his circuits straining to maximum. The shadow and the android clashed through the temple in frantic bursts, flickering through the labyrinthine halls and meeting with the force of thunderclaps. Was this the end for him? Was he to be destroyed by his own shadow?
The temple slowly began to collapse around them, so fierce was their fight.
(Figured Vi could have a worthy opponent of his own Fun fightin!)

Bing charged forward, sword at the ready. When suddenly The Serpent lashed out it's tail which released a thick stream of acidic black ooze. Bing stopped himself and slashed his sword through the ooze instinctively. It was as if the sword Itself knew how to defend against this attack as It cut through the Acidic Ooze like butter, causing it to split in two and completely missing Bing. The Acid smacked into the Temples wall and slowly ate away at the materials that formed the Temple. He looked to Vipoi who called out to caution Bing. Vipoi seemed to be fighting himself! He couldn't possibly help him as the Giant Serpent went for the offensive just as Bing turned back to it.
The Serpent lunged forward at Bing, mouth wide open. Bing brought his sword up and slashed at the beast, causing it to recoil slightly in pain. It hissed at him as it danced around the massive room, waiting for an opening. Bing slashed at the Serpent, but It slithered to the side and slapped Bing with It's tail, causing more Acidic Ooze to spew from the tip and smack into the Ceiling. Bing and the Statue were evenly matched, Neither one could find an opening. But It was fate that decided the Victor of this small standoff. A Massive sound could be hear from afar, The sound was that of two Titans clashing with eachother, Vipoi and his shadow were duking it out in rooms all around Bing. He looked away from the Serpent for just a moment to try and catch a glimpse of the action, but It was a moment that the Serpent took full advantage of.
The Serpent coiled itself around Bing, completely entangling him! He struggled as best he could but the Magic Beast was much too strong. His breath was slowly squeezed out of him, The Grip on his sword was slowly loosening, His eyes were dimming...Was this his end? "NO!!!" Bing yelled with air he didn't have, as a massive surge of White Energy coursed through him. The energy was hotter than the sun as It sizzled against the Beasts skin, forcing it to relinquish the young green-haired warrior.
The Serpent hissed in defiance, as Bing bellowed out "YOU THINK YOUR MEASLY POWER IS ENOUGH TO STOP A SERPENT MASTER? FEEL MY RAGE!" The White Energy that was entirely covering Bing morphed itself into a Emerald Hue, and all of It moved to his hands. Bing pushed his hands forward, allowing the massive amount of energy to Coil outwards and take the shape of a Snake! It smashed into the Serpents side and pierced It, crashing into the Wall behind It as the Serpent slowly Dissipated. ([MP3] Serpent's Rage Used!)
The Temple was on It's last legs, any more time spent here was time spent digging His own grave. He followed the sound of Distant Thunderclaps, hoping to find an Exit along with Vipoi.

Green streaks and low bruises crisscrossed Vi-Poi’s pale frame, and dents in his dark armored vest were the product of several near death collisions of the shadow’s fist upon him. Still, he’d discovered the magical projection was not half as clever as he was, and so he was able to use his afterimage to constantly attack it from behind. It didn’t seem to show signs of tiring, but neither did the android – his attacks were hitting home harder and swifter than the shadow’s limbs could block.
Bing’s own battle was causing large peaks on his built-in scouter, coupled with booms and shockwaves that were tearing apart the Temple. His battle with his dark mirror was doing much the same – each exchange with the shadow knocked down walls and crippled ancient pillars, causing huge rains of dust and sand.
With a last flicker of his form he detached his left arm, exposing the dark bore of his ki conduit. A sharp electric whine filled the air before Vi-Poi unleashed a Supa Bazooka directly against the shadow, the hot blue ki driving the shadow back into the wall and obliterating its wavering form with a bright flash of light. Half of the Temple erupted into a massive gust of sand and white fire.
“Not so magic after all.” Vi-Poi said with a grin, before spotting Bing. He threw up a hand in greeting and blew a large hole through the temple with another wave of ki from his open conduit before his hanging forearm reassembled into perfect alignment. He flew out of the Temple’s wound and up into the sky, watching as the entire structure began to sink into the sands. He kept his eyes open for Bing, wondering if he had made it out with the sword, and how he’d managed to escape the snake.
(Wrap up, maybe? )

Flying through the destroyed corridors of the temple, Bing was following Vipoi's battle by sound alone. Damn, this is taking too long. I guess I'll have to leave without-- his thoughts were interrupted as a massive explosion of energy came from all directions. He brought his hands infront of his face to shield himself from the gusts of sand and fire. After a few moments he caught a glimpse of his miniature blue companion. Vipoi waved to Bing just before he blew a hole into the Temple wall and went through it back to the outside world. Bing followed closely behind.
Bing floated over to Vipoi and watched as the ancient and forgotten temple slowly sunk back into the sands, never to be seen again. Bing smiled and looked over at his sand-coated android friend. "Well, that's one way to find a weapon!" he slashed his blade in the air a few times. He descended back to the ground and picked up a small chunk of the Temple that had fallen off before it sank fully. It was caked in that strange black acid the statue had been spitting. Bing threw it over to Vipoi. "You should have your scientists study that, it could lead to something big."
The temple had finally sunken fully into the ground, leaving nothing but sand in its wake. Bing waved goodbye to Vipoi. "This was certainly interesting. I hope we can get into more adventures sometime soon, but I think I'll be going now. Seeya later!" Bing slowly walked away, slashing his sword at the air occasionally.
Tangs face appeared on the Hilt of the blade. It spoke to Bing in a slightly dissapointed tone. "Why do you trust this machine so easily? He could have killed you and taken the blade for himself." Bing chuckled at his Swords words "If he wanted to kill me, he would have done it right there. You seem a little too untrustworthy father, is that why we lived alone?" Sword-Tang scoffed at his son and spoke once more. "Your words astound me boy, your trust it going to get you killed someday". Tangs face dissapearred from the blade as Bing continued walking.

Vi-Poi peered back at the crumbling temple, nodding slowly. “Interesting is an understatement. I am certain the Science Corps operations will spend many months digging through this area with a fine-toothed comb, though I am equally certain they will not find much. I call it, my android gut.” He said with a smile.
He said his goodbyes to Bing and then burst from the Desert, marking the coordinates on his map before striking his way out back to Big Blu. His scientists needed a better way to calibrate and control magical phenomena. Could this provide a key?
Only time would tell.
