[This thread is for the members of the BBA accompanying Vi-Poi to Vegeta]
Space. It was incredibly peaceful, even if some people mind find its emptiness a bit unnerving. Just watching the stars and distance planets drifting by the window, it reminded Cipher of a calm night sky. The android had half a mind to paint the black tapestry some time before they returned to earth.
Right now, the android was relaxing in his room. Once the room had been sparse, but now numerous sketches and paintings covered the blank white walls. Even a drawing table had been brought in. The administrator had learned of Cipher's artistic tendancies and had purchased some supplies for him. A bit of a reward for his work in the Western Capital. Cipher reminded himself again to find some way to repay his superior. He always made his operative feel appreciated and welcome. Right now though, the android was just laying on his bed, getting some rest.
Unfortunately, his rest would not last long, as suddenly the Big Blu heaved to one side, almost throwing the android off of his bed. He managed to catch himself easily enough, springing to his feet. He began to hear the tell-tale sirens indicating an emergancy on board. He quickly strode to the wall, reaching the intercome.
"Statue Report," he spoke firmly. Though he guessed that the other KAOS members were probably asking the same thing.
"We're under fire from an unknown vessel. It just appeared and began firing on us! We've tried to contact them, but they're not responding. They're not doing too much to use, but they're closing in quickly. I believe they're intending to board!"
Cipher nodded. An unknown vessel? Who would attack them? A first thought that sprung to Cipher's mind would be some sort of pirate group, preying on passing ships. If that was the case, these pirates were going to find themselves a very unpleasant surprise when they attempted to board.
"Acknowledged. I'm on my way." he replied, before heading out the door. He would first meet up with the rest of KAOS, before they would do anything regarding this little pirate attack.

As the Big Blu heaved violently to a heavy slant, Liang was mid-toss and post-turn through a post-training power nap. Halfway midair and about to plop back down onto his bed and mumbling incoherently, he was carried from his slightly falling but still slightly midair posture and promptly chucked to the floor. Jolting awake as he rolled a few times and steadied himself by planting his hands and feet to the floor and entering a sprawl, he heard his communicator going wild across the room near where he kept his personal items. Plopping down on his haunches with a half growl and half grumble, his rubbed his mostly-shut eyes as he stumbled to his feet awkwardly and shuffled over to his on-ship comm unit. Staring starkly offended at the in-house comm as if holding it responsible for depriving him of his well deserved nap, his hand fumbled around on the buttons of the comm. He watched as the volume control display bar shortened and then lengthened a few times, then he grumbled as he slapped around a couple more buttons tiredly which ended up switching the channel. After a loud screech and a few other random noise from the other channels, he found his way back to where it should have been in the first place and leaned over to the speaking piece; he still barely knew how to work the thing, but he'd probably make due well enough. Inspecting the controls for a button to accept an urgent transmission, he found it and flicked it with his index finger. ''Zhai Liang, KAOS Unit. What's the situation?'' He stretched and as he did so he yawned lazily into the communicator as a crew member spoke a mile a minute about the current situation.
Halfway through, he realized they were now under attack.
It was a dumb move to make the Blu a target; the thing was basically a flying arms factory with more weaponry you could shake a stick at. Past that, it was usually manned by highly trained personnel, and that's if there weren't any members of KAOS on board; not to mention the Administrator. Whoever had decided this was a good idea had no idea what they were getting tangled up in, but an attack was an attack and he needed to respond accordingly. He shut off the comm unit and hurried over to his closet, taking out his combat uniform and suiting up, sans the helmet. As he raced down to the designated meeting point in the case of emergencies, he wondered who else would respond to the call. Most of the crew were likely too busy monitoring the ship's status from the attack and giving readouts to repel a large amount of boarders, but that's what KAOS was for. His blood began to run hot in his veins in anticipation, and he quickly found himself perked up as if he'd just had a full night's sleep. He broke into a hard run, weaving in and out of the passing crew until he finally arrived at the meet-up point. Upon arrival, he began to perk himself up with a few warm-up ki exercises, lightly rolling a tiny ball of energy between the fingers on one hand and back again. Getting his energy flowing for a little more pep, he stretched his upper body a bit as he waited around, wondering who else would show.
Then again, having had his nap interrupted, someone could have already been there whom he hadn't seen.
Cipher, for example.

Cipher had reached the meet up point not long before Liang had shown up. Then again, with Cipher being as quiet as he was, it was easy to miss him. The android was leaning against the wall, watching as Liang did some warm up exercises. After a few moments of watching his oblivious comrade, he pushed himself off of the wall, clearing his throat. It seemed like none of the other members were coming. Since a number of KAOS operatives were on the ship, Cipher figured that they probably thought that someone else could handle the issue. Cipher wasn't surprised.
Cipher pushed himself off of the wall and cleared his throat to get Liang's attention. "Since it appears nobody else is coming, it's up to use to handle this situation. Apparently some unidentified ship is attacking us. I'm getting the feeling its a pirate group of sorts. This shouldn't be too hard an attack to repel. They're attempting to come in to board the ship."
The ship rumbled, and the sound of metal on metal could be heard.
"That would be them now. Needless to say, we should give them a good welcome."
A ghost of a smirk appeared on his face as he took off down the corridor, expecting Liang to be following them. It wasn't long before he reached the contact point, one of the ship's airlocks. Typical place to make a boarding.
"Airlock! Open!" He'd rather not have the door damaged.
The steel door slid open, leaving a rather confused pirate on the other side. Clearly he wasn't expecting the door to open for him. Over his shoulder, Cipher could see other pirates as well, each of different alien varieties he didn't recognize, much like the one at the door. The pirate shook his head, giving a sinister smirk as his eyes fell on Cipher and Liang, expecting an easy target.
"Men! Take everything this ship's got!" he crowed out, getting ready to attack. Then a rather concerned look appeared on his face. Why were there only two people here, why did they open the door for him, and why were they so calm?

Freezing mid-stretch to peer at the android awkwardly, the human laughed off the situation by nervously scratching at the back of his neck, slightly ruffling his already bed-ravaged dark brown hair. His face straightened up a little bit; by the android's explanation, it was time for business; his nap would have to be resumed afterward. Cipher had guessed it was probably pirates, which by Liang's own guess, probably didn't know any better. They'd been hurtling through space for quite some time now, and though on the outside the Blu looked fairly advanced, it didn't exactly fly around with all of its weapons systems deployed and seconds away from unleashing hell. They had gotten the bright idea of trying for a boarding attempt, which in more ways than one was probably a lot worse of an idea than just trying to disable the ship from range but leave it intact. His head perked up a little bit as he heard and felt the rumbling, hearing the grinding of metallic surface on metallic surface. It looked like it was showtime already. Hiding the bigger part of an amused smirk, he nodded as Cipher noted that ensemble of noises signaled their arrival in what was probably a pretty foolish plan all-around. His eyes drifted to watch the android's feet, intending to keep a close and matching pace with his comrade as the faint smirk briefly flashed across Cipher's face before he took off into a run to go give the pirates the greeting they'd worked so hard for. Folding his arms and walking up to the android's side as he commanded the door to open up, the face of the pirate on the other side was worth a thousand zeni by itself.
It was a state of innocent confusion. He was probably wondering if they were going to surrender without a fight, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Tapping his foot slowly as he gave the pirate and his alien-diverse crew a hard, expecting stare, up until a devilish grin appeared on the lead pirate's face and he ordered his men to take everything the Blu had. The statement was funny enough by itself, actually; even if the pirates found themselves able to take anything at all by getting past KAOS, or rather, a mere two members of it, they'd need a lot larger of a crew to salvage and plunder this behemoth of a ship if they didn't want to spend a few days doing it. The young Tiger hung an arm around his android comrade's neck casually and lifted a hand toward the pirate crew. ''Well, since you so graciously offered to take our cargo off our hands, you can start with this.'' His hand briefly flashed with a clear-white glow as he let loose a basic ki blast over the leader's shoulder, hoping to strike one of the crew standing behind him and catch them off guard to sew in some confusion in their ranks. He figured he'd let Cipher have the first satisfaction of bouncing his knuckles off of one of these idiots; if his tactic worked, they'd have been caught by surprise, giving the android an easy shot in on the leader. Whether Cipher took the chance or not, he'd follow in right behind him to clean house (or ship).
The gears in his head began turning. Nobody ever gets caught the first time doing something wrong, or so they say. The Blu likely wasn't the first ship these guys had attacked, so it made Li wonder exactly how much plunder they'd painstakingly worked up by ambushing people. Perhaps if the two members of KAOS could send these guys back into their own ship and chase them down, they'd stumble upon a treasure trove to add to the Blu's stock rooms. Supplies, maybe? Valuables perhaps? If things went their way, they might have found themselves on the offensive side of a reverse-plunder, as hilarious as that seemed. He took his arm off of the android quickly to allow him any freedom of movement he required; if he advanced, he'd fall in right behind him and sock the first unfortunate alien he came into contact with. He'd likely hold himself back and restrain his usage of ki to basic blasts; collateral damage meant an entirely different thing in space, and he didn't fancy the idea of cartwheeling through space after getting sucked out of a hole blasted through the offending ship's hull. That, and the Administrator would probably have him knee-deep in correctional paperwork and lectures if he even made a scuff on the Blu.
Being a (reverse) pirate for a little while could be entertaining!

Needless to say, the pirates were shocked when Liang effortlessly took out one of their own. All the ships they had plundered in the past put up a fight, yes, but nothing like this. As the pirates slowly turned back to the ships 'defenders', Cipher struck like a snake, delivering a sharp blow to the lead pirate's stomach. The alien's eyes bulged, a few short strangled gasps emitting from his throat before he slumped to the floor in a heap.
Though they were still in shock, another tried to raise what appeared to be some sort of lazer cannon on his arm, trying to take aim at the android. A bit of a poor move on the pirate's part, as that just made him the next target for the android. The alien's shot missed as Cipher grabbed his arm, striking the bulkhead instead. Fear instantly appeared on its alien features before a single blow sent him to the floor.
It was that that caused the other pirates to snap out of their shocked stupor. Since going one on one didn't seem to work, attacking en masse was the only option. With a loud cry, they charged.
And a minute or so later, they were on the ground, groaning in pain, those that were still conscious anyway. Cipher and Liang on the other hand looked perfectly fine. After all, they were operative of KAOS. These guys were just simple grunts.
"There isn't enough of them to be the entire crew," Cipher observed as he stepped over the bodies. He crossed through the airlock, stepping into the interior of the pirate vessal. The ship didn't seem to possess the same level of finesse that the Big Blue did. It seemed keeping their ship clean wasn't exactly high on their list of priorities.
"Liang," he spoke up from across the airlock, "Why don't we make this a game? One point per pirate defeated, ten points for the captain. Five if you discover where their loot is." He looked back, a ghost of a small on the android's pale face. "Does that sound good to you?"

The human warrior let out a hearty chuckle as his blast collided with a stray pirate, sending him crashing to the ground with a small puff of smoke. It continued a little further as Cipher slipped away from him and buried his knuckles into the belly of the one in front, and Li cringed a little as he watched the alien's knees buckle. The adversary desperately clutched for air before collapsing to the ground in a heap. Apparently intending to provide backup, one of his comrades lifted an arm cannon to fire off a shot at the android; Li stood ready to backhand it back in their direction, but found himself instead impressed by the android's heightened reflexes he hadn't been witness to before. The potshot struck the bulkhead, leaving a very annoyed Cipher who snapped to the opponent in an instant and dealt out justice by socking him to the floor in one swift blow. As the pirates stared, stunned, they seem to click into a hive mind mentality. With a share of stunned, confused breaths and ''oh wow what do we do now'' awkward eye rolls back and forth among them, they let out a rallying battle shout before they decided to attack en masse. Liang popped his neck a few times before rolling a shoulder for one last pop, then bounced light as a feather in place, swaying lightly before storming forward with his lead foot; his training in ten times gravity made keeping his speed up a lot more trivial. He charged in on the android's flank intending to back him up, swinging with a hard stepping haymaker that sent one of the unfortunate ''attackers'' sailing. A wild smirk appeared on his face; maybe this would serve as a good way to pass the time for the trip to Vegeta?
''Hey, Cipher! Back to back! Moving in!''
He slipped in behind the android, covering his back and flanks as he stood with his back a few inches away from the android's. Systematically, he followed up off of Cipher's lead, holding off the tide of criminals in the eye of the storm of fists and feet. Catching a striking arm from his most recent attacker, he whirled under a punch and swept the aggressor from his feet before twisting the arm of his original target, lifting him off the ground with a loud crack and pop. Slamming him down as an improvised club-weight on the one he'd just swept, he continued his strategy of two-for-one combinations against the onrushing enemy, making sure to check his angles by darting his eyes around every now and then while staying out of the way of the android's needed range of movement. Before long, probably a minute or two at most, the ragtag boarding party all were either devoid of consciousness or were writhing around in pain on the floor of the airlock passage. Hitting a small button on his comm unit, a few members of the Blu moved in armed with weaponry to make sure that even if they wanted to move, they weren't going to. Having set up a tight defensive perimeter, he turned his attention to his android KAOS comrade who'd made a pretty good point.
Even an idiot wouldn't send their entire crew as a boarding party. In case things went south, they'd likely leave the bulk of their raiders behind to lock down their own ship and try to counter attack after an ambush to scrape together a victory. Li turned his head when he heard Cipher call his name, and smiled as he proposed a friendly game to make mopping these guys up go a little quicker. He cracked his knuckles excitedly. ''Sounds like a plan, Cipher. Split up at the first fork we find, or did you plan on sticking together?''

Cipher's smile widened slightly at Liang's approval, and his follow up question.
"Split up of course. We can easily handle these pirates on our own, and that way we wont have to worry about stealing eachother's kills."
And like that, Cipher was off, dashing down a corridor and making a hard left. He didn't look back to see where Liang was heading. The man was stronger than him, and could easily hold his own. All Cipher was interested in was finding either the captain of this crew, or where they kept their treasure. The BBA could always use the resources.
As he dashed down the corridors, numerous pirates emerged before him, some wondering what was going on, and some having heard about the boarding party being beaten. Nothing the android couldn't handle. As he ran past, he delivered crushing blows to each and every pirate that got in his way. He almost felt like he was back in the Western Capital, running through Capsule Corp. Any pirate that wasn't knocked flat on their face by the android instantly backed up, frightened. They clearly hadn't met an enemy like himself, and were a little too scared to try and pursue him.
Good. We need people to carry the loot over to our ship.
Seriously, what were these pirates hoping to accomplish, attacking the Big Blu? This was a doom endevure from the start.
And so the android continued running, running towards where he believed was the underside of the ship. If there was any place where he could find pirate treasure, it would be the cargo hold.
It didn't take long for him to find his target. A pair of large steel doors. Cipher slid to a stop before them, looking up and checking to make sure nobody was pursuing him. Good, it seemed like the remaining pirates were either trying to deal with Liang, or simply lost track of Cipher.
Since the android wasn't too particular about keeping the place tidy, he didn't try his usually cleaner methods of getting the door open. Instead, a single ki blast would do, tearing the doors apart and granting him access.
Inside was what he had expected to find. Gold, jewels, and various alien minerals, artwork and what looked like technology. Definately the pirate treasurey.
He tapped his communicator. "Cipher 24 to Liang. I've found the pirate treasure," he paused for a moment, trying to remember just how many pirates he had taken down on his way here, "My current totel is 17 points. How are things on your end?"

''I had the warmest feeling you'd say that. I'll stir up the crew and give them something to worry about. Let's strip this junker of everything they think they have a claim to, eh?'' Liang laughed jokingly, eyeing the battered remains of the boarding party. It was a bit of a shame, though; he'd actually entertained the thought of getting some combat experience after his gravity training to test out his newly gained speed and power output, but it seemed like all these ragtags had to throw out was meat for the grinder. Folding his arms in a playful yet bored sigh, his eyes rolled up to the ceiling. Amused, he watched Cipher dash off into the distance and down the first fork the android found. The young and wild Tiger was looking to be set loose, but he let off an almost predatory form of patience as he folded his arms and advanced in a slow walk. He had a few ideas on how to draw some attention to himself, not only for his own entertainment but to allow for Cipher to secure any objectives he deemed crucial. The vessel was crude enough to most likely only allow for one dedicated cargo hold, but it was an educated guess at most. He decided to take the more combative route, calmly walking down the opposite prong of the fork that Cipher had not taken himself. Sliding one hand behind the small of his back, he extended the other into the wall and passively observed that he was nearing the barracks; he looked above him to see a fire deterrent sprinkler system in place littered across the ceiling of the ship. Suddenly getting a brilliant and devilish idea, he focused his ki into his shoulder from his core, flowing it through his chest to arrive there. From there, he smiled excitedly at the warmth snaking its way down his arm like serpents, his hand flashing a clear-white hot. Planting his hand against the cold metal, he began to walk along, keeping his amused pace.
The result was his intensely focused ki carving a scar into the metal of the doors and door frames, the walls in between as well, of the quarters of where many of the pirates were likely nearby. With a shrill metallic screech akin to precision-clipped nails on a chalkboard, a trail of smoke lightly danced against the sensors of the deterrent system, letting loose a spray of water and an almost annoying bell alarm. Flicking a few metal shavings from his hand, he folded his arms again and tapped his foot patiently to give the ''cavalry'' some time to arrive. This would likely give Cipher the time frame he may have desired to search for something worth anything on the pirate cruiser. As he heard the flood of footsteps coming down the adjacent hallway like a stampede of angry beasts, the fighter within him decided to assert his dominance as king. He took a meditative pose, hovering one hand over the other in front of his body before slowly pushing them outward and flipping them so the pads of his fingers were at eye level, the tips low enough to allow him to see past and form a more reflexive defense against their initial assault. Peering at the first arrivals, his ki flared into a solid barrier, cloaking him in protective energy. He could have let an Afterimage suffice, but he was always looking for more innovative ways to expend his energy; the Tiger Style: Wall being one of them. He smiled as a salvo of arm cannons raced toward his position, but he kept his calm position garnished with an excited smile as the flickering bolts of light deflected off of his energy cloaked silhouette.
The bolts staining the walls and floor, and even the ceiling around him in smoke and scuffs, his form began to dampen beneath the rain of the fire deterrent system. Bringing on an inner calm from the flow of the water, he let out a deep breath of air before vanishing from his current position leaving the pirate crew confused. When next he appeared, he sprang from the wall like a predatory beast, his fingers curled inward as he struck at the side of the lead attacker's neck, twisting his head sharply before bounding off of the alien's shoulders and taking down the two behind him with aerial stomps to the head. Gaining a little more altitude from that maneuver, he planted his feet firmly into the ceiling before charging a newly-developed variant of his Master's technique. The tight platoon-like grouping of the pirates made them easy targets, and he sprang downward with all the power his legs could muster in a sharp drill-like rotation. ''Tiger King Impact!'' A hollowed-out orb construct appeared in his right hand, and he braced it with his left as the ''jaws'' of the creation slammed down into a pack of the criminals, sending them scattering and bouncing about the hallway. Landing in the center of the group's remainder, he decided on the satisfaction of close combat and prepared himself for a retaliating assault.
Ducking under a backhand strike with an arm cannon attached for extra weight to the blow, his feet lifted quickly in a series of three steps as he evaded attempts to bring him to the floor. Turning his body to sway past a hard straight, he gripped the throat of the offender and slammed him to the floor before twisting in a crouch. Curling his fingers inward into a hooked, knuckles-out palm, he launched from his feet and sent another offender airborne. Bursting forward from his slightly hovering position, he delivered a series of rotating rib-crushing kicks to the last of the pack before planting his boot firmly against the last man standing's jaw, sending him skidding across the hallway. Landing and dusting himself off, he saw one stray alien making a break for an escape pod; he'd given pursuit and managed to catch him by the back of the collar, launching the empty pod just to prove a point. ''My men! Have you any idea what this is going to cost me!? We had a good setup and a great score! You could have just taken down the boarding party; after seeing that video feed we took the hint! Let me go! We won't bother you or anyone else!''
Just then, his communicator beeped.
''Copy that, Cipher. Good find! I found myself a prize too as i'm sure you overheard. My count so far? Let's see...'' With his free hand, he dotted his index finger back and forth across the hallway littered with beaten and battered pirates. ''Technically twenty-three on my end. But i'll call it thirteen since I haven't dealt with him yet, and we're going to need some able bodies to graciously transfer any cargo you might have found. I've just been stirring up trouble. Things will probably go smoother if he gives the order. If he's not feeling up to it, I wouldn't mind collecting the points.'' ''No-no-no-no-no! Whatever you want, whatever you want! We'll move anything onto that massive ship of yours if you just let us go!'' ''Well, it looks like I won't be collecting after all. Find anything good?''

From what Cipher had heard, it seemed like Liang had found the captain, who wasn't in any condition to fight back. A shame really. Cipher would have expected the leader of a group of space pirates to have some strength to him. Maybe the fact he didn't pick up a decent power level on the ship wasn't a glitch afterall? "I found plenty good," he replied, a small smile appearing on his face, "And now we have the manpower to move it for us."Ten Minutes Later... Cipher leaned against the wall, watching as the remaining space pirates begrudgingly carried their stolen goods across the threshold onto the Big Blu. Several soldiers had been called to take the goods off their hands and bring it down to the ships' cargo hold. The pirates would occasionally look over in the android's direction, letting out a pitiful whimper of fear before picking up the pace. He had to admit, for such a ragtag group, they had quite a haul to them. And now, that haul belonged to the BBA. With the last of the goods brought over, the rather brow beaten captain turned to the android. "There, that's the last of it. Now will you please let us go?" The android cocked his head as if thinking, causing the captain's body to tense. The android took a small delight in messing with him like this. "I see no further reason to keep you here. Very well, go. Leave this ship and do not bother us again." The captain quickly bowed his head before motioning to the rest of his crew. The pirates couldn't get off of the ship fast enough. It wasn't long before he heard the sounds of the pirate vessal pulling away, taking off as fast as they could to get away from the insanely powerful ship that so easily defeated them. With a small smile of satisfaction, he tapped his communicator. "Cipher 24 to the administrator. The pirate threat has been delt with and their plunder secured. I have crewmen bringing it down to our cargo hold for the time being. If I'm required for anything else, I will be in my room. Otherwise, please inform me when we arrive on Vegeta. Thank you." He let go of the connection and turned, striding back towards his room. [End of thread]
