(Heavy Weights On) (Vi-Poi's Thread PL: 24,686 (6,171.5 With Weights)) (Power Suppressed)
“We do not learn to impress your friends – the pretty girl, the smiling boy!”
“Ha!” A chorus of young voices responded in kiai.
“We master peace, and in doing so, conquer war!”
“Ha!” The chorus responded, this time more fiercely.
“We only use our skillful art for good, in the defense of ourselves or others!”
“Ha!!!” The chorus resounded.
Vi-Poi quietly entered the Turtle School. Given that his usual suit would have been most glaringly out of place here, he had begrudgingly agreed with his social algorithms and decided to wear a plain white gi, void of any emblem, which folded into billowy charcoal-grey pants, and black dojo slippers. He had decided to suppress his power, moving his reactor into Low Power Mode and his components into Safe Mode. He highly doubted that any scouters were present here – and to any who could sense others through ki reading techniques, he would seem an empty void even at full power – but there was no point in taking chances.
He was here to observe Poi’s old place of learning, not make a scene. It hadn’t changed much in the long decades since the boy was a member. No one seemed to recognize the facsimile of him, even the sensei who was so old he wobbled on gouty knees, though it was hard to tell if Vi-Poi even registered upon the man’s rheumy gaze. Vi-Poi’s memory of those days and its passage of time were somewhat of a mystery. He never counted the years, but it must have been longer than he originally imagined.
The scene seemed all like the faint echo of the boy’s memories here. The pitiless hand of time had passed by this place, as much of the Turtle School seemed precisely the same. It was a learning house of aged bamboo and paper, witch old-timey classrooms centered on a central dojo, where several sparring mats ran orthogonal to each other. The largest dueling floor was now occupied by this exercise class, who sat in perfectly spaced rows and columns, interacting with their sensei’s speech. His footsteps were soft and quiet as a mouse as he walked upon the sparring floor, padded with down feathers.
His large blue eyes shifted from the sensei to a figure standing next to him, which he was about to introduce. She struck a startling profile, Vi-Poi’s social algorithms admitted.
She had a somewhat delicate, elfin face. Her long hair, a dark and ruddy auburn, was kept in a loose ponytail that fell past her shoulders. Her frame was lithe, yet toned, and Vi-Poi could tell even under her dark gi that she was a competent fighter. His built-in scouter measured her strength:
>(10)<
Vi-Poi hmmed quietly to himself. The old and timeworn sensei produced numbers quite higher than that. Perhaps she was his student? But no, the sensei seemed to be addressing her with a certain amount of deference.
“…and now, my young apprentices, please welcome the new Turtle Hermit of the Allied Turtle Schools, Master Ninjin.” The sensei said with a deferring bow of his head.
“Hello Master Ninjin.” The students said in response, standing to bow at the waist in unison.
Vi-Poi caught the sensei’s eye as the old man proudly surveyed his pupils. A look of puzzlement swept across his craggy features. He whispered something to Master Ninjin, and approached Vi-Poi on shuffling feet, hands behind his hunched back.
The sensei bowed his head to Vi-Poi, a gesture Vi-Poi reflected, adding a deeper incline to denote his respect for the man’s positon as fighting tutor.
“I apologize, but we do not have any open classes today.” The man said in a voice wavering with age, but still built upon a sturdy foundation of years of strength. “You seem a bit older than most of the new applicants we get here. Do you wish to enroll in a tutorial package?”
Vi-Poi smiled politely, his blue eyed gaze briefly flickering to the Turtle Hermit. Something in his fractured and shattered memory banks registered on hearing that title, but he couldn’t understand what it meant. “I would like to meet the Turtle Hermit, Master Ninjin.” He responded.
The old man smiled broadly, his face crinkling. “In other circumstances, I’m afraid you would have to travel great distances, but I am sure she would be happy to meet a prospective student.” He began to shuffle back to Ninjin’s position, with Vi-Poi in tow. As they reached the central dais, the sensei directed the students to commence with their morning formwork while the Turtle Hermit and he spoke with their guest. They broke into groups with admirable discipline, efficiently beginning their own efforts to improve themselves.
“Greetings, Master Ninjin.” Vi-Poi said, folding over at the waist as he bowed to her deeply. “I hear that traveling masters often are able to depart fighting wisdom to those who request such knowledge. Perhaps I could make such a request of you? I am Vi-Poi, a middling student of the martial arts, one who needs much improvement.”
The sensei laughed a bit nervously, rubbing the back of his liver-spotted neck sheepishly. “Vi-Poi, it would be quite irregular for the Turtle Hermit to offer a training session to one she just met. Perhaps you’d like to register for an advanced course?” His bushy eyebrows furrowed above those rheumy eyes which traced over Vi-Poi’s blank gi skeptically, noting the absence of any fighting school emblems.
“There are other ways for middling martial artists to improve their techniques, without presumptuously beseeching the master sensei for her guidance.” The old man said with the gentle chastising tone of one used to correcting overambitious students. The old man raised a finger to his cracked lips, positing, “I think, given some time, we here at the Western Capitol Turtle School can hone that zealousness of yours into something formidable, should you wish to take classes.”
Vi-Poi’s blue eyes shifted from the sensei to the Turtle Hermit once more, meeting her own irises with his. They were a light blue-grey, like an overcast sky, and like those skies revealed nothing of her thoughts. The sensei’s words hung in the air, and it was obvious to the three that they now waited on the decision of the Turtle Hermit, Master Ninjin.

The western capitol was a place she had yet to visit and it was long overdue. As she had walked the streets as she neared the dojo she was enjoying herself. All the people seemed genuinely happy and well taken care of. Arriving at the dojo at the beginning of the morning workouts she stood there with a proud smile on her face. Before her where all the students that she was fighting for, the students that she would die to protect. Though she did notice behind the students a newer student dressed in a grey gi. IT was not unusal for Ninjin to find new people whilst out training but only few had ever made her instantly go she wished to train them on sight.
Though her talking with the sensei of the school was going well she kept a wary sense out on the man who was not in the traditional orange gi of the school. Her sense was trying to figure out just how strong the man would be and if he was going to be an issue for everyone there. While nothing was registering she had an unnerving feeling like she had when she was trying to read Kojima’s power the last time the pair had met up. As all the students bowed to her after her introduction by the master she returned the bow as a show of respect to the students of the dojo.
The sensei whispered quickly to Ninjin something about taking care of something rather quickly as she stood there to watch all of the students who seemed to be standing at extra attention and acting more proper around her. She found this a little amusing as most times she despite her rank preferred the more relaxed approach to these meeting than these more formal events that the sensei had put together. Her attention though quickly turned as she happened to hear the one clad in grey mentioning her name and title. Her suspicion was quickly pushed aside as the sensei came back over beside her and guided Vi-Poi alongside himself.
As she was greeted by the younger man she smiled and returned the bow to him a show of respect for the wandering martial artist. Listening to him speak her smile did not move as she had been one of those wandering masters before taking up the mantle at the top of the Turtle School. With the introduction made Ninjin listened to the sensei’s attempt at defending her and state reasons as to why she would not just train anyone who walked in off the street. Despite this Ninjin raised a hand to her chin as she let her ki signature slip upwards to ten times that of the sensei standing there beside her.
:: That should get Vi-Poi’s interest as I was so casually able to raise my power without any outward showing of power. :: Shifting her weight Ninjin took a step from where she had been standing the entire time so that she was able to look the android directly in the eyes. Her gaze was unwavering as she kept the look directly at him and spoke up. “I appreciate the concern Sensei Peirin but everyone seems to forget that I was once just a wandering martial artist as Mr. Vi-Poi is. My gi had no symbols on it and then I came back to the school and took back the emblem on my Gi and then became the Turtle Hermit. I have a feeling that a friendly spar with the one before us could be a good showing for the students to watch my techniques and possibly learna few new things from our friend here. Unless you oppose doing that sir?”
She had capped her ki output at the level of 7500 as she looked at the young man. Having several theories on what the man could be made her not eager to show off her fullest extent of power as she liked to keep things close to the vest especially when it came to possible fights and those she was going to be fighting.

Vi-Poi blinked as Master Ninjin raised a hand to her chin, and her fighting rating suddenly spiked on his built-in scouter:
>(2,200)<
Vi-Poi raised his eyebrows. So she could suppress her ki, much in the same fashion he could suppress his power from the energy sensors of scouters. She was obviously just showing Vi-Poi a small sampling of what she could really do, as it the tremendous spike in energy didn’t even make her tense up in the slightest.
The sensei nearly toppled over in shock when the offer of sparring demonstration was given by the Turtle Hermit, but quickly recovered, bowing several times to both Vi-Poi and Master Ninjin. “Oh, you have been given a great honor Vi-Poi, a fine and wonderful honor!” The old man said, beaming.
Vi-Poi smiled.
Underneath his gi he still wore his heavy weight plating, the modular components of which he’d removed from his heavy coat and placed in the shape of a series of torus-shaped rings that wrapped snuggling around his torso, attached to a flexible spinal plate. It would allow him more freedom of movement than his heavy coat, and he could remove his gi top and the weight device with one deliberately placed push of ki energy.
Her ki energy suddenly spiked again, and this once more without the slightest look of agitation on her slender face. Vi-Poi's large blue eyes blinked with geometric lines and sinuous graphs as he read her growing ki signature:
>(7,500)<
This was a true master of ki, Vi-Poi decided, one able to control the energy as easily and naturally as they controlled their limbs.
“I would love the opportunity to spar a Master of the art.” Vi-Poi agreed, his bright blue eyes still examining her curiously. He tightened the belt holding his gi top in place as they moved down into the soft padding room, and at the sensei’s nervous suggestion, went out into an even larger drill yard so that they might have more room for movement should the battle become intense.
The students clamored together in excitement to watch, milling about with an air of expectation. They had never seen the renowned Turtle Hermit fight before, but had obviously heard much of her battle prowess.
The match was preceded by all the pleasantries of a formal spar, the sensei announcing the names of each fighter and relating the rules of the bout. There would be no deadly attacks, and the first fighter to fall completely without the support of their limbs or to yield verbally would be considered the bout’s loser.
Vi-Poi cared little for winning or losing, only exploring the fighting techniques of this intriguing being. When they stood opposite one another, a great wind began to howl, drowning out the voice of the droning sensei, causing the Turtle Hermit’s hair to flutter in the air like a great red banner.
The blue-haired android met her eyes, pulling his feet apart as he showed her his fighting profile, forward knee slightly bent, right fist slung low on the outside, his left hanging back with an open palm, fingers curled. It was a neutral stance, one his combat algorithms had created, that would allow him to counter attacks swiftly. Although Vi-Poi was truly perfectly ambidextrous, he fought southpaw since most fighters were unused to dealing with such anomalies. Even the smallest advantage could determine the outcome of a duel.
“I know you cannot sense my power.” Vi-Poi said, loud enough so only she could hear. “But I can detect yours, and though it is very impressive by human standards, I doubt it is your upper limit. I intend to see what great spirit resides in your heart.” He said.
The gong rang.
Vi-Poi shot forward with a blurring pulse.
He yelled out in kiai, his leaping roundhouse kick swirling in the air, heel of his foot lashing down towards her face…

As the sensei gathered the students off to the side of the main central arena Ninjin remained calm and collected. Her power staying rather steady as she listened to him speak up. All of the rules and formalities of the formal sparring match. She shook her head as she listened to him speak up. This was another of the things she did not care all that much for. Such formalities bored her to be all truthful. As she took her position and felt the wind blow past her she placed a hand at her ear keeping the hair out of her eyes.
As he moved into a combat stance she grinned at him dropping herself down into her own self taught stance. It was a combination of the traditional turtle defensive stance and her wolf stance with one of her arms hanged loosely at her side as she watched his movements. It was showing to Vi-Poi that she was also ambidextrous when it came to fighting. Though one who had gained the rank she had had to easily be a master of fighting and that should be easily evident.
Hearing his words just before the gong rang she smirked at him. As the gong rang she did not move as Vi-Poi dove toward her. Releasing her breath she watched his movements come in and she countered with a flash of speed. Her left hand catching his leg as her right arm moved fast and impacted the side of her leg as she released the cap that she kept herself at. The truth that she could not fully read him was true but she spoke up. “For an android your smart to be able to hide your power… Too bad I have spent time around plenty and while not sensing your full strength I can sense some of it.”
Pushing her weight behind herself she grabbed his leg and spun him over her head in a judo throw toward the edge of the circle. At the moment of the throw she tried to ready herself for another attack against her from the android.
{{Power is at weighted cap.}}

Vi-Poi arced through the air in his graceful attack, kick slicing toward her head, yelling out in kiai as the strike neared the Turtle Hermit, who remained perfectly still despite the encroaching danger.
His bright blue eyes widened in shock as she caught him by the heel with her left hand, holding him by the foot before snatching his extend leg in a perfectly timed two-handed grapple, the momentum of her right arm spinning him across her shoulder in a levered judo throw. It was all executed with admirable efficiency.
A flawless technique! Vi-Poi thought with excitement as he spun head over heels towards the edge of the circle. Vi-Poi shot an arm forward and caught himself with his fingertips, his ki-infused muscles easily turning his fall into a graceful somersault. He twisted in midair and landed crisply just before the edge of the circle. He catalogued her words with interest. She spent a lot of time with androids, did she? An intriguing fact by itself, let alone the startling ability to detect some measure of his electronic heart.
It was clear that whatever happened next, Vi-Poi would lose. He was hopelessly outclassed. His algorithms already were reading the probability of his victory in the extremely unlikely, anomalous five-sigma range. Or a one in roughly two million chance. He had a better chance of being struck by lightning. His Overdrive Trigger would close the odds somewhat, but he was very wary to activate it after what had happened in the Bamboo Forest. He didn’t like the way it made him feel.
Even though he was doomed by statistics to lose, Vi-Poi’s enthusiasm wasn’t lessened by the fact. Far from it. He was enthralled with the opportunity to study and record a superior technique. Still, it didn’t mean he wouldn’t make an effort to win.
Vi-Poi grabbed ahold of his gi top and flung it up into the air, baring his lean torso and the dark metal claw of his heavy weights, creating a billowing screen between the Turtle Hermit and himself to mask the direction of his initial movement. He moved rapidly to her right in a burst of speed, appearing to the untrained students as having disappeared. To Master Ninjin’s expert sight however, he would probably be viewed as a moving blur.
He appeared to normal sight directly to her right, throwing a hand forward and firing a blast of golden ki in her direction. He didn’t wait to see if it landed, but flew across the ground directly behind it, using it as another sort of screen before he launched into a combination of strikes.
Should the golden harbinger and his following strikes land against her, and should she not dodge his attacks, the ki ball would hit her in her torso in a fiery explosion, and he would follow with three hard punches to her stomach, chest, and face, before finishing with a flurry of kicks to her legs. His final strike would be aimed at her stomach, and he would attempt to counter any punches and counter attacks she threw with his shins and forearms in a blocking fashion.

The fact that the man did not show any signs of giving up despite her releasing her power to its fullest with all of her weights placed on her body made her smile widely. :: Such a man cannot be taken lightly. Sometime in the future he will be a great spar as right now I have a feeling that I outclass him, but there is no need to make him look bad. I have a feeling that he will land a number of hits should he…::
Her inner monologue slipped away as she watched him toss aside his gi top and noticed the weights upon his body. If she had to guess that would be one of the reasons that she outclassed him at the moment but would not internally dignify that with an answer. Though she raised her arm instinctively as the smoke screen shot up between the two of them. The momentary distraction from the android would give him a free shot on Ninjin as she caught the blur of his movement with her sense and eyes and caught a glimpse at the ball of ki. Quickly she charged her left hand with ki and swatted the balle of energy aside sending it flying into the far wall of the dojo. The swat however left her open for his combination of strike to land true and will all the force he could muster behind them. As the impact of the blow on her face landed she popped backwards from her spot in the circle. Spinning from the strike she narrowed her eyes as she caught her balance a moment later. A large smile crossing her face as she rubbed the mark on her cheek that Vi-Poi had created on her.
“I give you credit. That was a good strategy to get your blows in. But I think it is my turn.” She spoke as she tensed and burst forward toward Vi-Poi before stopping in front of him and using her speed to circle the man striking at random intervals at him. The test was to see just how fast that the androids computer could keep up with her movements before she went in for a spinning kick aimed at the middle of his back.
{{The kick is a flat spin kick so her shin across his lower back. About liver/kidney level.}}

The blue-haired android grinned triumphantly as his punches landed. Though his finishing kick was dodged, he felt good that he could land even a partial combination against a martial arts master.
Vi-Poi’s large blue eyes followed the Turtle Hermit’s movements as she began her counter attack. She was circling him at an incredible speed, nearly too fast for his combat algorithms to capture. Very quick.
Suddenly and with a burst of speed, she vanished from his HUD. His systems rang in alarm, but before he could react a great rending force hammered into his back from behind. If it weren’t for the metallic covering of the heavy weights tracing atop his spine, Vi-Poi was sure the attack would have broken his back. As it was, his spine curled in an unnatural fashion, a shout of surprise escaping his lips. His body hung on her outstretched shin for a moment, absorbing the ki and kinetic energy of the blast, until it could absorb no more and was overwhelmed. The excess energy launched him forward, causing him to skitter and bounce head over heels. Vi-Poi rolled from the force, his protecting forearms and shins the only reason he wasn’t immediately disqualified, until he came to a bouncing halt at the very razor’s edge of the circle. He teetered and careened, threatening to topple over, but with a great strain of his gyroscopic sensors barely managed to remain within bounds.
A low greenish bruise from where his micromotors sent emergency repair gel was appearing under one eye where his face had first met the ground, and another verdant band was forming on either side of the onyx weight along his spine where her kick had landed with such force. The weight itself was dented there, and he would have to hammer it out later.
He charged his circuits to brim full of ki, hunching over on the balls of his feet as he switched stances. He smiled at her invitingly, raising both palms at head level, pointed outward at her, fingers curled back to the knuckles. It was a highly aggressive, win-or-lose stance, that would let him fire ki with either hand or simultaneously, as well as slip into several heavy punches and grapples should she close with him, but provided little in the way of defense.
“I asked to see your best, and I suppose that was presumptuous of me. I think you can win with only a fraction of your true potential.” Vi-Poi said with a smile, staying at the extreme edge of the circle as he began to revolve around her with careful steps. The next moves in the competition might very well determine how well he would lose. He intended to catch the Turtle Hermit with one or two more surprises he had in remaining in his martial arts reservoir.
Vi-Poi briefly thought that he could truly surprise her with a shot from his dark Bullet, but decided against it. There crowd was too close, and he wouldn’t risk their injury or death in a friendly spar. He had other, less explosive options to deploy instead.

Ninjin watched as the man hung on her leg for the moment that seemed to last an eternity. Then he was flying across the ring and was stopped just barely before he would of fallen out of the ring and ended the bout prematurely. It was a delight for Ninjin that he however did not fall out and regained his footing. Noticing the bruises appearing on him with just her first volley she knew that this while enjoyable would be over rather fast should she push herself against Vi-Poi.
Watching him as he maneuvered into an obviously much more aggressive fighting stance she smirked as she slid from the traditional stances of the Turtle School and into one of her own creation. Her left leg was bent at the knee and she was crouching with her right leg planted with the front of her foot pressed against the ground. Her hands where raised her left showing dominance over her right and her right hand actually hung up in an aggressive manner compared to earlier.
As he complimented her her face would blush if only a slight bit. For her she was right that her own weighted vest was there but she was not expecting to only use a fraction of her strength as she preferred to fight at full potential but sadly she had not been able to do that in a very long time. “Well thank you for the compliment. You are not half bad yourself. With some training you would easily be a great student if I had to state my opinion as Grand Master.”
Pressing her right foot into the ground she sprung forth bringing several rapid punches toward her opponent. Several quick jabs into his stomach and upper abdomen as she attempted to press forward against her opponent.

Vi-Poi smiled slightly at the Turtle Hermit’s blush. It showed she was still humble, even after all of this attained power. He analyzed her stance, his sensors sweeping over her lithe body and calculating myriad possibilities as to her next strike. When she slung herself into a new stance, his databases could no longer detect a catalogued technique. Her arms were raised in an unfamiliar striking sequence, her legs sliding into a new position with the liquid grace of a master. She’s developed her own fighting stance. Vi-Poi thought. If he could be even more impressed with the red-haired woman, he was now.
The students watched the two in anticipation, wracked with silence from the shocking and blindingly fast exchanges and the engulfing pause that followed it. This was the clam and quiet eye of the storm. What happened after, when that next storm-wall came howling in, might very well determine the victor.
The old and withery school sensei, formerly distrustful of Vi-Poi’s skills, was gawking openly, his jaw hanging, his body stiff with surprise and disbelief.
Vi-Poi tuned all of his external sensor systems to maximum. He may not be able to see her move, but perhaps he could feel it. Subtle vibrations in the air might give him hints as to where she would move. The blue-haired android hmmed thoughtfully at this, still circling the Turtle Hermit from his orbit at the very edge of the ring. Whatever the outcome of the next exchange, he was surely grateful to have been given the opportunity.
Vi-Poi lowered his eyelids, letting his other senses take hold. Where sight would betray him, touch may not.
The fiery-haired Master Ninjin suddenly moved for him with incredible speed. She blurred towards him, her fists readying themselves threateningly, faster nearly than Vi-Poi’s supercomputer processor could even think. Still he did not move. He waited until she was right upon him.
A careful student of martial arts, the android was well aware that there is only one way to defeat a foe that was much stronger and faster. One must use the foe’s own superiority against them. One could not stop the rushing river. One could only change its path.
Speed. Timing. Distance.
His large blue eyes shot open, and just before her fists collided with him at the edge of the ring his raised hands swept forward in an aggressive grapple. If his hands met her body, they would take hold of her gi with a knuckle-tight grip, and using her own great speed and momentum attempt to turn on his back heel to the side, extending his arms away from his body and catapult her out of the bounds of the match.
It was a desperate gamble. Should she overpower him, or otherwise dodge his attack, he would be in prime position to be knocked completely out of the ring and lose the match, or otherwise exposed to her counterstrikes. It was, as his stance afforded, an all-or-nothing, win-or-lose judo throw, using all the ki-infused might his vigorously-cycling heart reactor could generate.

Ninjin noticed the looks of the students and of the master as she had pushed forward toward Vi-Poi. All their reactions where exactly what she had been expeting. Though what she had not been fully expecting was the manner in which that Vi-Poi attempted to avoid her attack. The grasp onto her gi along with his side stepping and using her own motion against her made her think fast on her feet. Pushing her foot against the ground she launched herself twisting into the air to avoid ringing herself out. Using her mastery over flight she flexed her foot muscles as she redirected herself and grabbed onto Vi-Poi’s arm as she spun back around it and back into the circle.
Using the momenteum of her move she grabbed his arm wrenching it free from its hold on her gi and she sent him flying across the ring with another expert toss. She placed as much power within it as she could muster so unknown to her that Vi-Poi’s internal scouter would chime up to show her true power cap as she had a momentary flash of her lilac colored ki. Standing there as she watched him fly she made little to no motion to follow up on the toss of her own. As unless her opponent knew how to fly she was certain that this would be the end of the little spar between the two of them.

Post by Vi-Poi on Mar 4, 2015 20:10:32 GMT
Vi-Poi was slung around like a slingshot and launched into the air by the Turtle Master’s skillful counterattack. He folded around her body, a loud crack filling the air as her expert maneuver and throw launched him past the sound barrier. He shot like a bullet, speeding towards the far edge of the ring from the force of the throw. Vi-Poi folded his arms and smiled as he sped through the air. There was no winning against this red-haired woman, he had glimpsed her peak energy during her burst of ki which had quickly and quite easily overpowered him.
The blue-haired android allowed himself to sail outside of the bounds of the ring. He passed the white ring, signaling his defeat in the match. Before hitting the ground or the far dojo wall however he halted himself neatly in midair, and, folding his legs with his knees out, he gently lowered himself to the grass. The long blades of verdant green grass ruffled and parted from the energy of his hovering ki. After making the smooth landing, he bowed his head respectfully.
His large blue eyes surveyed her from this submissive angle, peering up from his lowered head. “You are quite easily the strongest fighter I have ever come across, Master Ninjin.” He said, his head still bowed. “You are by a long margin my better, and although I have now seen something of your maximum, I think we have yet to see all you will become.”
Never in his existence had the android expected to fight such a power, and one contained in a human, no less. Further, he’d never been expected to be out-calculated and out-maneuvered in a think-on-your-feet situation. His supercomputer processor was no trifling thing, and her greater combat cleverness was startling. Her battle prowess had been exemplary. She was no less than a genius fighter. He walked over to the puddle of white cloth where his gi top was, and shrugged it over his bare, tautly-muscled shoulders before tying it neatly in place over the sleek black claw of heavy weights which still hugged his torso. He moved to face the Turtle Hermit and bowed once more with deep respect, folding at the waist.
“You do honor to the Turtle School with your perfect technique, and the entire Art is in safe hands, I am certain.” Vi-Poi said before straightening. Some of the students who managed to pry themselves from shocked disbelief murmured their agreement at this.
A whoop in the crowd was followed by a cheer thrown up for Master Ninjin.
The sensei scurried over to vigorously shake her hand in congratulations, announcing her the victor of the bout.
Now that Vi-Poi had seen a sample of what she could do, he would be certain to catalog her in his wider scope of affairs. He offered Master Ninjin his contact details in the Western Capitol, and explained that he had come to the school to see how a childhood friend had trained. The explanation was mostly true, without delving too deep into just who that friend was.
He hoped he had made a sort of friend, today. There were too few of people whom Vi-Poi could truly call that, and fewer still of those who knew his true depths, those who understood what it meant to harness immense energies normally associated with stars and other cosmic reactors.
“We’ll meet again soon, I hope.” Vi-Poi said with a smile.
(OOC: Super fun thread Thought we could end the thread there or after your reply if you wanted, though if you're eager to do some non-combat RP in this one and keep going I'm fine with that too. Let me know if you want to thread again, I certainly hope we do!)

Ninjin stood there as she was certain her throw would be taking care of Vi-Poi and it did as he sailed across the room only to stop in midair long after he had left the ring. As he settled down onto the grass Ninjin began to approach him across the ring as the sensei of the dojo came and raised her hand in victory. Though as the Sensei did this she watched as Vi bowed toward her in respect and after pulling her hand back she returned the motion. It was not too often that Ninjin got to cut loose against someone and not have to worry about injuring them. Though it was but for a split second she was happy she was able to do that against the android.
“Well then I am flattered to of sparred against you. And you probably saw the maximum that I have without straining myself. IF I where to strain myself and push my body to its absolute limits I do not know many that would be able to stand against me. Though I do know of a few that can and that continues to drive me to better myself. As I hope today’s lesson will to all of your students and to you my new friend.” Her words where simple but effective hoping to shine through the humility that she still attempted to hold despite her own strength. For Ninjin the spar despite its short length had been a great experience and it made her feel alive for the upcoming day as she hated most of her visits but todays had been a welcome change.
When he bowed to her after collecting his gi top from the ground she once again returned the bow. His compliment about her doing honor to the Turtle School drew another blush onto her face. As the android began to give her all the ways with which to contact him she thanked him for it all. “I thank you for the compliment. I have been trying my best to honor those Hermits that came before me. I am hoping to someday be able to be entered into the annals of honor for both the school and the world at large.”
A rather sheepish grin came across her face as she divulged that information as despite her humility she did have dreams and that was most definently was one of her largest dreams. As the man turned to leave and he mentioned something of possible crossing paths again Ninjin nodded toward him. “Most certainly. Also before you leave let me give you something as a token of thanks for the welcome spar.”
Looking at the sensei she whispered to him to go get her something and he ran rather fast coming back with a small box. Opening it Ninjin grabbed a small pendant with a turtle shell upon it. “Here take this small token as a sign of friendship between yourself and the school here and elsewhere. They will recognize this as a token from me personally and will not question should you in your travels require a roof over your head to sleep under or a warm meal. Take it and until we meet again.”
Balling the chain and pendant she tossed it to Vi-Poi who she was certain wuld catch it with ease before turning to the adoring students and sensei which she began to explain the fight and all of that to the students.

Vi-Poi caught the token and examined it closely with his large blue eyes. It was a chain attached to a small turtle shell, delicately worked. He slipped it over his head.
He left the Turtle School when politeness allowed, making gracious goodbyes to the Turtle Hermit, the sensei, and the attending students. Perhaps he would return one day. Or seek out the Master herself. The shell would be there to guide his way, when he was ready.
