(For this thread, on top of it being an invite only, I'll also be attempting to learn Ki Suppression. Sorry for the shortness, guys. Figured I'd settle the mood in short and sweet aspect instead.)
A restless Pieter found himself waking early in the morning and going out to the edge of Fukurou forest. The powers he felt all around the world had been dipping in and out of his senses, troubling him deeply. He was trying to figure out how it was possible that these people were able to hide their spirit power from his senses all around this world, particularly those beyond both Waputhi and himself. Had they developed their spirits to the point they appear like the rest of the Earth's populace, as well those that coming to the Earth and back? It was bothersome! Sure, there were those, even atop the mystical Korin tower the green Namekians gathered at, that had good natured Spirits. Even that Kagami, Emer, had some good nature about him that was being clouded by guilt. However, that guilt seemed to have turned his spirit for but a moment, which must have caused him to flee into obscurity.
Feeling that change, as well as that massive surge of power that quaked his tribe and those Namekians... It must've even set off some alarms in the cities, as well as visiting ships! Pieter remembered his dad telling him about how a lot of the ships and, at least during his time, government buildings being built with sensors for tracking someone's power. Then, just about a day or so ago, the sky darkened out of no where! No rain, lightning, tornadoes, or other weather came with it though! After about five minutes of this, it disappeared, like it never happened!
There were some terrible miscomings from this. It was why he had been so restless! His power had been spiking up and down within the past hour. Without a doubt, it had probably been raising some red flags, especially to his older brother. However, the giant had been to engrossed with his spouse-to-be and his students back at home that it didn't really bother him. It bothered him that Waputhi was so level headed at times, but it was even worse when all but the grand elder were so level headed. Knowing how that old coot was, Pieter was even more worrisome about it! After all, he had been around for, from what Pieter figured, at least 100 years, so the old man ought to have learned several things during his life. The old coot probably even had a near-heart attack from whatever caused that.
"Grah, come on," an irritable Pieter, who been walking back and forth in the grass outside Fukurou, "I need sleep, but my mind's just becoming wackier than a bobcat in a field of catnip! Serpent, confound it all!"

". . .55,877," murmured those lips, a hand reaching up to brush back a stray lock from his field of vision. Zasho had left the relative comfort of the dark thing's craft before the sun had crested the dunes of the Diablo Desert, his pack-mates and the coal colored beast still soundly asleep or engrossed in other activities, whether they be in the gravity chamber or their quarters. The Saiyan let loose a push of ki from every point of his body, immediately halting his forward momentum as he righted himself in mid-air. In disbelief, he removed the reddish lens from before his eye and squinted as the reading before he replaced the recently repaired scouter and curled his lip as the suction caused his ear to pop.
"Are you sure you're fixed?" he questioned, and had anyone been in the vicinity amongst the cloud with the son of the Hirugetsu, they would have certainly assumed he were conversing with his own person. As Zasho posed the question, however, the programming within the scouter recognized his tone of voice and decided immediately that it was the artificial intelligence within the lines of coding that he was addressing.
"My systems have been restored and are operating at one-hundred percent, Master Hirugetsu," came the reply in the left ear of the man, and he grunted in response. The female voice was sultry but every serious, and quite Saiyan in accent and mannerisms. Zasho found her voice pleasing to hear, and for a moment longed for the company of a female. Zucceta could never play that part, and for some reason, Zasho found himself hardly attracted to her. Perhaps her unhinged nature and barbaric tendencies influenced his lack of attention toward her more womanly qualities.
"55,877, then," Zasho repeated, his mind refocused on the incredibly high battle power across the H.U.D of the scouter. "Ayleen, set our destination for that power level."
"Affirmative, Master Hirugetsu."
Zasho Hirugetsu spun in midair until the arrow across the screen pointed directly up, aiming him north-west. Thirteen hundred miles seperated he and his target, and according to Ayleen's calculations, he would arrive within two hours traveling at just under the speed of sound..a leisurely pace for the Saiyan. Zasho decided to arrive at his goal within the hour.
Fifty seven minutes later. . .
With a trail of cyan streaking behind him, the lean form of the Saiyan touched down before the incredible power that had flashed across his screen for the past hour, his weighted boots touching down with a light toc and barely disturbing the blades of grass beneath those nimble feet. Reactively, Zasho Hirugetsu wrapped that whipping tail about his waist and looked directly toward the man, his keen nostrils taking in his scent and noting that it was overwhelmingly Saiyan. The sight of his tail confirmed that suspicion, and the last practitioner of the Tsurunoha lifted his chin in an upward nod before he offered a greeting.
"Haikei, Saiyajin, Utsukushī ni~tsu, hai?" he offered, his posture relaxed but those hands and feet primed to kick away the impeding weights and enter a combative stance should this man offer violence.

For the past hour, Pieter had been lying on his back in the grassy knoll just feet away from the tree, trying to make use of it as a bed. He, though, struggled to get comfortable, rolling back and forth. One of the powers had been approaching his general direction, but it was far off... That is, until the last ten minutes, when it had nearly been on top of him! He stood up, looking in the direction of the spirit, honestly nervous about it.
The next ten minutes were agonizing in the wait! He was wondering if it were one of the hunters from not that long ago! After all, even though they were weaker than he was, they were able to sneak up on him and nearly capture him. He balled his fists up, as he scanned the clouds and grass outstretched before him. The source was coming in quick, from what he could tell. They had been a hefty distance away, barely noticeable among the billions of others on this planet. However, upon closing in, the hunter gathered a much better feel for this person's spirit!
This person came speeding in at sonic speeds, stopping just feet away! Black saiyan armor, short black hair, and a scar on his left cheek. He strong, but compared to Pieter, he felt like a pushover. The monkey tail at the man's waist told Pieter that this man was definitely a saiyan, and not simply someone who acquired it. Relaxation met the saiyan, but with a warrior's mannerisms, in that they were ready to get to fighting. The man spoke, asking in a language his father spoke when he got angry at someone!
"Haikei, Saiyajin, Utsukushī ni~tsu, hai?"
"You'll have to forgive me, but I speak not that of the saiyans. I speak this language and the language of my tribe... Can I help you with something, warrior," Pieter asked? A violent nature circled this man's spirit, but by no means was it not tame. It was that sort of nature that Pieter felt a tad unease...
"You may call me Pieter Wolfbane, by the way. Might I ask who you are, mighty one?"

Zucceta's eyes blinked open in the dark of the morning. She was lying on the floor of her room, the only place she could sleep comfortably. The mattress was too soft, like many of the things in this world. The previous owners had been too soft. The bed was still made, neat and unused but for the armor that sat polished and glinting, a thing respected, cherished and worshiped, despite its scars. The scars on her armour, and the ones that adorned her body, reminded her of her past and of her future.
Her sleep had been light and dreamless, in part due to the fairly vicious competition between the four occupants of the ship; who could be the last to sleep, and the first to wake, filling the waking hours inbetween with constant exertion and training. Zucceta and Zasho in particular kept trying to best each other in this sense, and thus, when she heard the heavy foot-falls of booted feet outside her door, she had snapped awake. Her suspicion was confirmed; t'was Zasho Hirugetsu. She felt a particular intensity to their particular rivalry, at least from her end; Lady Death desired to prove herself better than a being born and raised with elite blood. She had been sent off-world and intended to die due to her parentage, while he had been cherry-picked... in her view, of course.
Zucceta had noticed something about her comrade's new scouter. It seemed to be a relic; it was an outdated model, though it was difficult to tell, but on top of that it had been scarred and chipped on the ear-piece, as if by centuries of combat. And there was something else; when Zucceta had overheard some of Zasho's recent solo sessions, he had seemed to be talking to himself, but referring to an 'Ayleen'; but their had been a tiny, feminine voice... the scouter? It was odd; her scouter had no such intelligence, simply operating in blips and numbers, which Zucceta much adored; if she had some persona chattering away in her ear, she would likely throw the blasted thing into the air and pelt it with chi until it was scrap.
She grabbed her own scouter, and pressed the button a couple of times. One of the features she had learned how to use was the tracking function; and thus she set it to track her fellow saiya-jin. He had been dressed in his armor, which was perhaps unusual for just a training session. Had he found something of interest?
Setting down her own scouter on the bed, Death begins to pull on her own clothes.
She had followed the saiyan outside, minutes behind, with the peak of the sun just risen above the golden dunes. The day would be hot, much like her true 'home-world', the planet that had been designated a 'corpse-world' until she had managed to best it. Like the planet, the days were scorching and the nights glacial.
Her armor shone in the morning's radiance. Her scouter had picked up another power-level, one that seemed to be fluctuating a little, but peaking at around fifty-five thousand. She tuts. "Zasho, you were gonna have all the fun to yourself?" She loosed her chi behind herself, following closely in pursuit of her fellow warrior.
A mere minute after Zasho, the female mercenary drops down from the sky, her long black hair whipping behind her. She grins at her 'pack-mate', wondering if he had even noticed that she had followed him here. She notes the other saiya-jin, immediately obvious to her on first glance, confirmed by the prominent brown tail the tribal being produced from his behind. She chuckles, wrapping her own around the waist of her armour.
"Making friends, dōshi?" She purrs to Hirugetsu.

A tribesman. Zasho Hirugetsu allowed a grin to cross his features, his suspicions confirmed. From the moment the armored fighter had arrived, the keen receptors within the cartilaginous confines of his nose had been testing the air and found no trace of Vegetasei upon the one whom identified himself as Pieter Wolfsbane. Thus, Zasho had offered his greeting in the tongue of the their people, probing further into his suspicions and finding them correct. Unease pervading the natural setting about the pair caused a response in the form of fingertips rolling into loose fists, but a threatening stance had not yet been adopted.
"I said, 'greetings, it's a beautiful day, yeah?'" Zasho answered, a sudden zephyr whipping a stray strand across his forehead as he looked the man over. Pieter had the build of a Saiyan, the musculature of the warrior race in abundance on his powerful frame. The coloration of his hair and those eyes that held his own without an inkling of fear told the same tale, but Zasho had felt impurity within the blood of the man the moment he had tasted the air.
"My name is Zasho Hirugetsu," the aforementioned offered as another of his race touched down beside him, and the male shot the female a glance of annoyance at her covert nature. Simultaneously, he cursed his own blind focus on the target before him; with his scouter locked on the signature of the probable hybrid standing before the pair he had not bothered to continuously sweep the area around him for potential threats nor sneaking comrades.
Doshi. Comrade. Hirugetsu folded those lean, veined appendages over his proportionate chest. With Zucceta beside him, the pair could easily outwork the stronger Saiyan with a certain measure of teamwork. The unease about Zasho suddenly dissipated, and a disappointed sigh passed his lips with the sudden realization that he might have to share the challenge of engaging the superior power of Wolfsbane.
With a tilt of his head toward Zucceta, Zasho took the liberty of introducing her.
"Lady Death," he grinned, "Are there many of you half-breeds on this backwater planet, Wolfsbane?"

(There we are! By the way, guys, could you clarify to me your specific pl, upon entering this? This way, I've an understanding of how strong the two of you are.)
The saiyan replied in Pieter's language, having him calm a bit more. He responded, letting his nerves calm down a bit, "Ah... Yes, yes it is. Yet, though, it is not the-"
Another showed up at the same area, purring at the one named Zasho about friend making... A female-looking warrior. Pieter cursed his luck silently, tensing a bit more again. This one, he hadn't sensed that well, until the moment she stepped down. Her spirit seemed equivalent to that of the one standing before him, who called himself Zasho Hirugetsu. Upon the bow, the hunter recognized a militaristic format before him. It seemed very similar to what his father taught him and his siblings when they were growing up. Pieter decided to take a respectable approach by performing the bow to this person, whom had the title, "Lady Death."
Pieter slightly balled his fists up and, with a pound to his own chest in a x-cross fashion, he bowed to the woman before him. He raised himself back up, taking a less than laxed form, the fists remaining at his sides. He responded to the back to back insulting comments in a calmed, but notable insulted tone, "This planet has many of us, yes, though I'm more saiyan than I am human... And it is Wolfbane."
He looked back and forth from the two of them. There was definitely a pack's spirit in the air between the two. They weren't strong, from what Pieter could tell, but there was a subdued presence in them... Perhaps they were weighted down? Pieter decided to look at the posture Zasho had taken up again, to get a better understanding of things. His arms were not certainly laxed and his fists ready but there was indeed something going on there. A dangling fist swung a tad like a pendulum, telling the hunter there was much more going on there... But how much? The hunter's own weights, hidden in his vest, made it difficult for him to maintain a straight posture as well, but they weren't heavy as could be. Pieter decided to continue with his statement, to try to ease the tension.
"There are many half-saiyans, but as well as mixtures of other things, like a man mixed with demonic blood... A man I intend to hunt down, the moment I feel him out, as well as a full fledged monster who just recently attacked in the Eastern Capital, though its attack was diverted by a Serpent, believe it or not. However, I must ask, what are warriors of my father's race doing here, visiting this hybrid, especially one who calls herself, 'Lady Death'?"

(I believe I was at about 35k, 25% of that if we assume weights) Zucceta grins in response to Zasho's vexation. Well, I can't let you noblemen have all the fun, her wink seems to answer. From her comrade's dialogue, she notes that the saiyan-breed in front of them was titled Wolfbane. She smirks to herself, wondering if their was a story behind the title. If Zucceta had ran into a similar convention on her test planet, what might her surname be? Worldender? There certainly wasn't much left of any conventional fauna after she had finished decimating the planet the saiyan empire had sent her to.
She smirks at Wolfbane's bow. The two-third-bred saiyan was unnecessarily polite, such a gesture merely bouncing off of Lady Death's psyche. Indeed, while she was formally ranked at a similar level to Hirugetsu after many years of secret service to the empire, she herself showed no such respect to her kin, though it wasn't totally uncommon for gestures of respect within her actual race. It was merely Zucceta who was the odd one out, the psychotic murderess with little concept of formality. No-less, she mocks a curtsy to the hybridised warrior.
There were many like him on this world, then. Zucceta purrs. She'd met Rain, who was also part-saiyan, part-kagami. He had the potential to become like them, but at the same time, he had some unresolved business to do with the Kagami portion of his parentage. He obsessed over their freedom from under the thumb of saiya-jin, though Zucceta had told him that they must each earn their own personal freedoms as he had made his own. A species cannot be liberated by one man alone; they would still have the minds of slaves.
She emits a harsh, barking laugh at Wolfbane's last statement. "This world is a brewing pot for inter-species sexual encounters! Next thing you know, Hirugetsu'll be getting it on with his scouter," she jokes, mostly to herself, though totally loud enough for both of the other individuals within this encounter to hear.
She smiles at the hybrid, flashing a couple of fangs that, in the wrong light, might've looked like a cannibal's razor-honed implements. "I'm merely here to irritate my companion, oketsu."
Oketsu meaning, of course, impure of blood.
"That said, tell me of monsters and serpents. I am intrigued to know what this planet holds for me to best."

(Got it. Speaking of which, for you guys to know, Pieter would be at half pl right now... So around 27.5k.)
Oketsu... That was a term Pieter once heard his father get pissed off at, when a drunk in town said it, in a similar tone of mockery. This woman had a feral appearance about her that certain animals in these lands had: A domineering one. One that said, 'I'm the ruler of these lands here! Everything here belongs to me!'
Her later questioning about monsters and serpents even told him this case as well. To this case, the saiyan hunter replied, "Your presence reflects that of something intending to devour everything in an area, to dominate those who stand in your way... Pride is something you best not let go unchecked, saiyaness. Your 'friend' here, though he may not agree with it, seems to have the sort of aura about his spirit... But, you ask of monsters and serpents. To that, I ask you this: Have you felt the monstrous power colliding from the Eastern side of this continent? Have you watched or listened to the broadcasts of said events happening in that civilization? In the North and South, the powers quaking the planet in an endless drum of battle?"
He let the question settle in for a moment, before he answered the question in full. He warned, "You, Zasho, and even myself can not underestimate these monsters of might. 'The monkey will drown in the reflection of moonlight of the lake's surface if the monkey does not look up at it.'"
Pieter's arms crossed his chest, as he observed her reaction. The wild aura about her reminded him bit of his younger sister's... It was dangerous, but encumbered almost like Zasho's. The hunter couldn't identify this case with his physical eyes, the but his 'Spirit Eye' could identify it. It made him wonder if she had learned to hide her presence in whatever primitive environment she grew up in. He had to wonder, at the same time: Why didn't he? Why not begin learning now?

35,000~, so around 9,000 as Zasho is currently wearing his weights.
A smirk crossed the scarred features of the male, his companion informing their new acquaintance that her presence here was merely meant to trouble him. Hirugetsu nearly chuckled as his eyes closed, slowly, before they opened again. Speech. How the warrior loathed words, preferring to speak with his body either through subtle language from the physique itself. . .but ideally, with his hands and feet aimed at the life-force of an opponent. There was too little conflict on this world, his presence here one of a scout. Kajaso had given him the task of assessing the defenses of this world before an attempt to subjugate it was made, but with each passing day Hirugetsu grew less and less interested in the task.
Nay, he had met one of those accursed serpents, an Arcosian, and his power had been tested to the absolute limit and been found wanting. The warrior had yet to inform Zucceta, Orache, nor the dark thing, Pipa, of his shaming encounter with that fucking Arcosian whom declared herself the ruler of the quadrants and the purger of Saiyan life. Wyntre had been found lacking in technique, but the brute force of her attacks had been enough to cause Zasho to redouble his training in an effort to prepare himself for her eventual demise. Of course, the budding power of Zucceta and Orache pushed him in the aforementioned quests.
Strength inspired strength.
Wolfbane was telling of monstrous strength threatening the peace of this world, a state which Zasho cared not for. War was all the Saiyan nobleman knew, and truthfully, he never felt more tranquil than when his body was locked in the throes of deadly combat. The man let loose with a proverb, obviously one of his oketsu tribe, that the monkey would drown in the light of the fullest moons unless the ape ignored the beautiful lights of a satellite reflecting a sun, fully.
"I revel in the light of the moon, Wolfbane," Hirugetsu informed, "I drink it," but not now. Though the blutz waves were well beyond the level required to produce his Oozaru transformation, the scouter before his eye was currently blocking a large portion. Certainly, Zasho was experiencing heightened aggression and an invigorating thirst for blood under the effects of the moon, he had yet been shown cause to enter the truest state of his people.
But that blood-thirst did whet his appetites for the subject Zucceta had brought to light.
"I, like my comrade, wish to know more of the beasts of this world," he began, but quickly added, "I wish to test myself against them, as I'm sure you have. Take us to something worthy of our strength, neh?"

She chuckles at Wolfbane's assessment of her spiritual essence. What, did this tribal warrior claim to be able to look into her soul? "Might be I am a ravenous predator, indeed, one that is dissatisfied with the circling of the carcass of beast, but of man I am comfortable and filled." Chuckles. "Might be. If I am proud, it is a satisfaction at my own abilities and achievements, a conscious one. I do not feel guilt at my deeds, Wolfbane. Rather I wish this world could feel 'em sooner." She spits into the earth.
In response to his description, she tuts. "I am relatively new to this world. Many of my days I spent incapacitated and healing after a betrayal, presumably by my own government. If there were great powers I ought not have noticed; I did not have a scouter at the time of my arrival, my previous was destroyed in the firefight. And I don't watch Terran television. Feel of brain-rotting programming." She grins.
Adding onto Zasho's sentence, she smiles. "I drink it up." She falls silent, waiting for Pieter's response to Zasho's question. What beasts might lurk in this world's woods? Perhaps something that might be fun, even a little challenging, to hunt?

This woman wasn't taking him seriously, as well as Zasho. Zucceta proceeded to explain to Pieter that she was new to this world and that she was betrayed by her superiors in the government... A renegade group, then? Pieter cracked his neck, letting out a calmed breath with closed eyes. While she was talking, he was attempting to suppress his energy. If they were to fight, without a doubt, he would need to hide his power. They would probably notice this with their scouters, but the level would be so miniscule that he may as well have been at full power... Well, half his power, with the weighted animal skin on him, after all.
He looked at the two battle hungry warriors, thinking, "I'll need to stall them a bit more so I can get the handle on this Spirit hiding thing my brother does so often."
"So, you're intending to take the foolish approach of not learning about your 'prey?' That is very arrogant of you, saiyaness," Pieter responded, "Many names are plastered across that internal network, as well as powerful creatures and people... You may even be picking up your monstrous 'prey' on the other side of the planet. Here, it may be very clear, that I am the strongest here. It is clear you do wish to challenge stronger foes, stronger than I, before you even have the chance to commence these..."
He paused for a moment, a mental 'kick to the noggin,' greeting him with a memory! As he was growing up, and undergoing his training with his father, Pota had taught him a few things about the Saiyan culture, as well as their government.
"There're a GREAT deal of things, we saiya-jin don' talk about in our lifestyle. 1 is that old fart of a council that runs things whilst a King is being chosen. These old men generally handle the sendin' out of, so-called, 'Princes,' although they can be women as well, but there hasn't been a saiyaness in quite some time since the rule of Queen Jinjer, the Stone Guillotine, and her 'daughters,' who were known as Devil-jin, back 200 years back... Anyway, number 2 is the so-called, 'Royal Bloodline.' They're usually a bunch hedonistic warriors who're 'blessed' by whatever confounded luck that gives them higher than normal power level. Most of the time, they're hungry for pleasures who, quite frankly, send out the most 'Princes and Princesses,' to other worlds to spread their names. However, they've also found the most... failure, to say the least. One time, one small 'Royal' family had their son's chest and head sent to them in a space pod with a note from an Arcosian planet, stating, 'Don' send a stupid lil' bastard like this one ever again or we will kill every las' one o' ya backwatered monkeys!' I was actually ballin' in laughter because that family was the least bit prideful and powerful, and they sent one of their six stupid kids who... Ah, I'm ramblin' again. Where was I? Oh right," Pieter recalled from his father, though he was extremely tired. He remembered every single word he said because, at the age of 10, the old man had been making him balance on the end of a spear that was balanced above a 6 ft. diameter spike fall while tossing softball-sized rocks at him. Frankly, Pieter felt that some of the stuff his father rambled about was either his mind going off in reminiscing blabbering, or if was some brain damage he got... Then again, Pieter was restlessly tired, so he could've been remembering this wrong himself.
"Ah right! There were two families, one who actually charged me and a few o' me mates back in my military years to guard their kids and them, that are top notch! They were known as the Hiuren and the Hirugetsu. Very ol' families, trailing back a thousand years... Keep yerself straight now, Piet! Yer not gonna be able ta eat later if you don't keep balance! Anyway, the two families had been engagin' in a bit of a secret war with each other, havin' been equals for quite some time..."
There was a whole history lesson behind it, but at that point, Pieter had slipped and fainted, to only wake up with a splash of water to his a couple hours later in the memory... Or did he end up passing out after from balancing all day long that day? Pieter's mind was scattered everywhere at the moment.
Pieter had found himself looking at Zasho once more, an inquisitive look shown as he looked at Zasho's face. Something was going on there... Like he'd seen it before. Where though?
(Clarifying something really quick: Pota's father was charged to cover Akio Callahan and is still IS charged with that... For your knowledge, Zasho. Zucceta and I made that background a while ago, back when Akio was still around.)
