Koldar struck with his tail in a whipping attack that assuredly would have destroyed an unprepared opponent. Even Pin had to admit that if he’d taken the full brunt of that attack, he’d have probably been laid out. Thankfully, Pin was not in fact unprepared, and would not take the full brunt of the Arcosian’s assault. The moment Koldar moved to initiate his attack, Pin engaged his defensive protocols. Cooling vents closed and fans slid into positions that would make more space within his body. His head, arms, and legs retracted into his torso like some sort of shining black turtle shell, and were shut inside with aperture ports made of reinforced steel from the heart of a titan star. His armor shifted strategically to cover his most vital systems, and new armor plates slid out from their holding ports to provide even greater protection. Last, the four wicked chain arms that had caused Koldar such vexation wrapped around the now-floating torso as if it were preparing a gift for some sort of hellish holiday - or rather, as if they were designed to keep something locked within. When Koldar’s tail struck, it did not hit Pin’s head, as it was safely sequestered inside the well-guarded shell of Pin’s body. However, the attack was beyond what Pin had time for which to prepare, and so the damage was not insubstantial. The Armored Core was designed to be steadfast, to keep its place under even massive assault, and so it did, barely shifting under the massive impact of Koldar’s tail. However, physics would not be denied its equal and opposite reaction. The first sign of damage was two of Pin’s four chains simply shattering, their manacle tips falling to the ground with an impotent thud. The second was the horrid sound of rending steel as many of his armor plates tore and cracked. Some of them fell away, hitting the Arena floor with a clattering sound. More damage was internal - cooling fans knocked off their runners, and at least one new oil leak. Still, critical hardware and systems were within operational parameters. Had he been flesh, he would not have fared nearly as well. Slowly, deliberately, Pin’s arms and head emerged from his body, which shifted its armor back into place. His torso showed the signs of Koldar’s attack, but the Android’s arm, legs, and most importantly his head, were all but intact. That glistening clear braincase was untouched, save for a small smear of motor oil sliding from the dome of it down onto his scowling faceplate. “ I must say, I’m actually impressed. It’s been quite some time since I’ve required any repairs. Take pride, lizard. You’ve not defeated me, to be sure - you could never hope to - but you’ve done more than anyone before you, save for Commander Habana herself.” Pin drew his shotgun once more and again opened fire with a volley of buckshot blasts, one after the other. This was no longer the time to stand and charge and see what happened. The android became... What did they call those things on Earth? Tortoes? His torso was like one of those shells of those reptiles, as he hid his face into it! Koldar's aim turned to it, but landed upon the tail. A resounding boom was had, much of the energy in Koldar's tail whip all but gone. However, enough of the power, about half of what they were set to in this tournament, slipped by and crunched the metal down! Koldar's tail became sorely painful, even through the endorphins pumping through to cut the pain out! The forces knocked Koldar back center stage, as he brought his tail forth, wincing and rubbing where it contacted Pin's armor as the android brought his head back out. A compliment? While one filled with resentment, it was still one! Koldar grinned, retorting, "Not a bad shell you've got there, yourself. The version of yourself in my universe is probably just as effective as you are... However, you're gonna be feeling that sort of damage will do to even someone like you!"Pin's shotgun came back up, firing upon Koldar as he aimed to keep distance from the Arcosian! To Koldar, even though Pin was mostly robot, he was still a humanoid. The way his body was, some of the shots weren't as accurate as Pin wanted, aimed more at Koldar's limbs instead of dead on target! Koldar, in return fired some ki blasts back at Pin. The green energy collided with Pin's own, a smokey veil forming between the two. Koldar would take this time to get a move on, circling pin in a counter-clockwise fashion while maintaining his returning fire! "Alright, so he's gotten some more damage dealt to him than what he did to me," Koldar thought to himself, his movement having become sluggish. Several of Pin's shots were certainly not missing, snagging Koldar at the shoulders and hips while still forcing the run, "I feel he'll be getting a bit desperate, to try and take me down. Crap'll hit the fan once more if we let him get a real good hit in with that cannon of his once more! Patience seems to be meritting a greater reward this time around."( Mechanical Punisher Pin Koldar returns a compliment, but points out the damage he dealt was still going to affect him greatly! Fire is then returned in the form of ki blasts, smoke forming in between while some of Pin's shots do manage to slip by, grazing his shoulders and hips as he runs counter clockwise. “ My counterpart from your Universe is likely a cuckold, or dead.” Pin’s targeting array appeared to have been damaged in that massive attack, and some of his shotgun blasts went wild off to one side or the other. Still, he managed to hit Koldar once or twice despite the Arcosian’s best efforts. He could compensate for the rest. He’d taken a bad hit to be sure, somewhat worse than he’d given Koldar, but there was one fundamental difference between the two warriors. Only one of them felt pain. Pin moved closer quickly, but with caution, firing his shotgun as he went. If he filled the air with gunfire, it would hinder Koldar’s options to leap into melee combat before Pin was ready and properly prepared. Meanwhile, Pin was running a systems diagnostic on each of his weapons batteries - he needed to know if any of his offensive options were lost, and he needed to know if anything was at a reduced capacity. He already knew his two remaining Gaoler’s Chains were severely damaged - they could deliver a Chain Saw if need be, but they would probably break in the process. If he used them to attack or defend, that capacity might be lost, so for now they hung limp behind him, filling the air with the haunting shriek of dragging metal. He could win this thing. He was confident that he WOULD win this thing. But reckless action was not the path that would get him there. __________________________________________ Pin moves closer to Koldar Frost while firing his shotgun again and again! This was getting Koldar nowhere. Pin's tracking was too good at the moment. He could feel, alone, Pin's encroach with the trading shots! The old Arcosian then sought to do something unorthodox: Ki blasts all over the ground! Even at Koldar's location and behind him, a ki blast was shot, producing a large amount of dust and smoke that covered the arena. His power, after dodging one last shot, dropped so significantly that it was like Pin was the only one in there. The intent Koldar had would be masked, so that he could bide out his time. He wasn't in much danger at the moment, from what he could gander! The Arcosian sprinted to an end of the arena, wrapping his tail around his ankle as he knelt down. Now was the time to wait, learn about his opponent. Learning what the Android could do was important, even with the amount of time remaining, and recovering his breath even more paramount. If the Arcosian knew how to track Koldar, then it'd put him at a dangerous standpoint! However, if they didn't, perhaps Koldar could sneak a blow on Pin without much retaliation. At his current position, though? Too far away to yield a safe strike. ( Mechanical Punisher Pin Koldar has chosen to blanket the arena in smoke caused by his own ki blasts all over, while also dropping his energy to a considerably low level in the process as he hides away, biding his time to learn of Pin's methods. Pin watched as Koldar kicked up a great cloud of dust and smoke by damaging the arena itself. As the smoke rose, the Arcosian’s power signature dropped. Pin’s cranial fluid bubbled jovially - was this Koldar’s plan? To run and hide, wait out the clock, and hope the judges ruled in his favor? This was hardly the courageous strategy of the warrior Koldar had made himself out to be.
“Ah, the Arcosian shows its true form,” Pin said tauntingly. As he spoke the words, he shifted the lenses within his eyes to view varying spectra of light, cycling through until he could easily see Koldar, as if the smoke weren’t even there.
“If this is how you wish to fight, then so be it. Allow me to show you why they call my motorcycle the Machine Cerberusher.”
With that, Pin kicked his motorcycle’s engine on remotely. It roared to life where it lay, screaming with the voices of the damned. Its fiery wheels spun in place, kicking up an even greater cloud of smoke to fill the arena. As the engine bellowed, a gout of exhaust came rushing out through its tailpipes. Before long, the arena was filled with smoke, dust, exhaust, and the shrieking roar of a motorcycle from hell.
Pin stepped off to the side of the arena, looping around its perimeter as he approached Koldar. The roar of his motorcycles engines drowned out that of his footfalls, but still he strode carefully and deliberately. He would need to time his next attack carefully, as it could be the deciding move in this match.

Pin activated UT1 Eyes of Judgement (Equivalent of U15 Pin’s Multi-Visor), allowing him to see Koldar through the smoke and dust!
Pin turned on his motorcycle and revved its engine, filling the arena with an even greater cloud of smoke and exhaust.

Koldar was quietly knelt as Pin spoke. The android taunted Koldar for his strategy, yet the Arcosian didn't care. He was someone who fought in all sorts of battles in his career! This was just another notch on his career, for better or worse. Pin then made a statement about his bike, of which Koldar didn't care about. It only served to show Koldar his location before the machine revved up! His energy rose back up right before he quickly shot a basic ki wave at Pin's general location. However, nothing would be hit save for the barrier between the two of them and the stands! That bike of Pin's had been making an extra amount of cover for the android. This Pin guy was very attached to his little gadgets, from what Koldar had been understanding of the Android! His energy had already spiked up to its possible maximum, so there was no point in trying to hide again. The Arcosian bolted towards the peeling vehicle, landing upon the seat with his feet. "No driver around, and the vehicle's still operating like this. He's got a remote control of sorts in him, doesn't he," Koldar thought to himself, a hand on his chin as he looked down at the vehicle. He couldn't help but see this thing as a edgy Earthling's toy, something that Koldar had been thankful to not see in his species! The thought couldn't be indulged in the current moment, though, since they were in the middle of this fight! Not much time remained of their match, and while Koldar wanted to legitimately beat the android, there was also that possibility of winning through technicality and neither did this guy... It gave him an idea! "You know, it's interesting. The timer's running out and we've been trading some decent blows with one another," Koldar shouted over the vehicle with his powerful voice, "However, whether you'd like to believe it or not, I'm quite certain that I'm in the lead! These little pepper shots you and I have been trading ain't gonna count much when our major hits are going to count a lot more. You'll have to try to something or you're gonna lose by technicality..!"Would the android take the bait? Koldar was posing logic to Pin to respond. All the while, Koldar had recovered his energy enough to unleash another tremendous attack like the one he provided before! There wasn't time to waste. The final countdown had come and the old man was surely in the lead..! ( Mechanical Punisher Pin Koldar returns to full power, a basic ki wave shot over at Pin's last vocal location to find that the Android was missing! A quick mind, Koldar rushes to Pin's vehicle, to observe its functionality without Pin being in the immediate vicinity. He then comes to realize that they've not much time left and chooses to goad Pin into revealing his location, as his android physiology masked him well in this smoke! Koldar had recovered his energy enough to bring an end to this fight, win or lose. It was a matter of what Pin would do, with the logic of time and technicality posed to him!) It didn’t take Koldar long to figure out Pin’s general strategy - not that it was surprising. Pin was, after all, just expanding on a strategy he’d used earlier and that Koldar himself had just tried to employ. The Arcosian stood atop Pin’s motorcycle, taunting him about how the clock was running down and how he was sure the judges would rule in his favor. Pin had to admit that time was running out, and if the voting was done purely off of damage delivered and raw attack power, Koldar likely had him beat. But he couldn’t let Koldar trick him into rash action. To launch another attack now would be folly - he still hadn’t recovered his energy stores. If Koldar had managed to recover more fully, Pin would trip right into whatever trap Koldar had in mind. But there were ways to win this thing without using powerful energy attacks. He just had to out-think his opponent. He approached the motorcycle, keeping his body low to the ground. As he moved, he picked up a piece of his armor that had been broken off and fallen to the arena floor. When he got close enough to the motorcycle, it was time to put his plan into motion. He tossed the ruined piece of himself off into the arena, where it would land with a loud crashing sound, hopefully drawing Koldar’s attention. But Pin didn’t wait - the moment the armor hit the ground, he fired his shotgun directly into the gas tank of his motorcycle, breaching it and causing the whole vehicle to explode in a forceful and fiery manner. Pin followed up the explosion by planting one of his chain arms into the ground of the arena before launching himself at Koldar and wrapping his arms around him. Pulling with his chain arm, Pin aimed to throw both himself and the Arcosian into the out-of-bounds area, with Koldar’s face being the first thing to land! _________________________________________________________ Pin, using the explosive destruction of his motorcycle as a distraction and accelerant, is hoping to bring Koldar Frost to Suplex City, right into the Out of Bounds area! Only the motorbike and the crowd were making noise. It was difficult for Koldar to determine where was hiding, at first. Something dropped on the ground away from Koldar, his hands' fingertips lying atop the machine as he waited for more to happen! "Be ready, Koldar," he thought, his eyes bouncing between the location and elsewhere in the fog. His search caught a glimpse of the shotgun ki blast right next to him, his eyes widening! Koldar lept airborne, the shockwave of Pin's vehicle knocking him further upwards! Koldar wasn't out of the danger yet. Pin followed Koldar into the air, a chain-like appendage looking like he was tethered to the ground. Pin wrapped his arms around around Koldar, his shotgun still in hand. The grapple was admittedly tight, but Koldar had wiggle room. They were then sent flying over to the edge of arena, looking as though the out of bounds area was the target! "Boy, you are foolish to think this would work," Koldar bellowed. As he said that, his tail went to the shotgun wielding arm and pulled it off him with ease! Without time being lost, Koldar twirled himself out of Pin's other hand before forcing himself to a stop in the air! He shot a ki blast at Pin to propell back to the stage and also send the android careening to the out of bounds area, like he planned to do to Koldar! Had Pin not been holding to his toy, this would've proved much harder to get out. ( Mechanical Punisher Pin Koldar is leaping up from the exploding motorcycle, to only be caught by Pin's grapple. He then comes to realise that Pin aims to ring him out, but due to him still holding to his shotgun as he grappled Koldar, the old arcosian uses his strong tail to break the grapple and spin out of Pin's grip. Upon doing so, he aims to fire a ki blast at Pin to attempt turning his strategy on him and knock him out of bounds, but is more importantly using the blast to get back to the ring!) (3/3 KP) |

As Koldar broke free of Pin’s grapple, Pin could have spit venom in his fury. He immediately began to reel himself back in to the Arena, Koldar’s blast sailing right over the top of his head. As he set feet back into the safe zone, he tossed his shotgun into the wreckage of his motorcycle. Attachments would always bring you down - to people, to places, even to weapons. If he’d just discarded it after blowing the bike up… No, this was not the time. He could review the fight later, break it down piece by piece and agonize over his mistakes when the tournament was over. Now was the time to finish this, to see who would be the true victor in this battle. He strode further into the arena, the smoke still thick. But he made no secret of his whereabouts, his red eyes shining in the blackness. “ You can’t blame a man for trying, not when you left yourself so wide open. I think we’re both done playing around here, though.” Pin faced Koldar and thrust both arms out to his sides, hands wide open. He began to funnel energy deep into his fingertips. He’d been hoping to save this for the finals, but he was sick of waiting for it. “ I’m going to blow you away with the sheer might of the Empire. Still, tell me...what were you planning to wish for, had you not come up against me? You should at least get the chance to speak your wish.” ________________________________________________ Pin just barely pulls himself to safety, avoiding Koldar’s attack! Koldar cursed, landing on the ring as he looked at his blast fail to knock Pin out of bounds! However, it perhaps better this way. The Arcosian brought up his arms, bent his knees, and laid his tail firmly back, while waiting for Pin to attack. A couple of comments were spouted by the Android, before he brought his arms to his side. Koldar could only believe he'd been bringing out his big gun, so he summoned forth that energy once again! Then, once more like his last opponent, he was asked what he'd wish for, snide comments spoken before the inquisition of an answer! Koldar huff his nose, a frown and eyebrow raised before asking rhetorically, "You wonder what I seek, just like the girl I'd beaten before me? Does she actually come from your universe, I wonder?"He scoffed at his own poorly spoken joke. "That wish, which you think is lost to me, is one that I intend to make happen, even if I were to lose at this point," Koldar spoke, pausing a moment before confirming, "Which I shall not! It is to leave behind the tools necessary to keep the Arcosian Federation of Planets a living beacon of hope... To give the tools that will quell the monsters in my universe, no matter the day and age they may come in! Whether it is right after this tournament, or when I had long become stardust, the tools I shall make a reality will make certain that the Arcosian Federation of Planets and its inhabitants shall survive any dreadnaught brought to them!"( Mechanical Punisher Pin Koldar reacts to Pin's strange motions by redeveloping his energy in the Eps Purah Kahnsh, Level 3 (MP3) stance that he took up before! Seeing another familiar name in this match up the Commander could only have been more pleased if he had won properly or at least maimed the lizard a bit more, clearly he needed some more upgrades or training.
