"Threats of planetary destruction work wonders." he remarked as Taiga complimented his skills in reforming the Empire after it had fallen apart. He returned to his own seat, contemplating the result that had just been produced. The general was no doubt working on his own schemes now, given his demeanour after the presentation of the situation, but that was a concern for the long term. In the short term, they were all on the same page and working towards the same goal. That was what was important right now as far as the bronze Arcosian was concerned. He noted that one of those slave races that Taiga had dismissed representatives had decided to make an appearance, nodding absently in Orenji's direction. "You haven't missed much. Apart from maybe a poor attempt at humour on the Captains part." said Abzerute with a pointed look towards Botany before returning his focus to the group as a whole. "Now then, hopefully with all of us now focusing on the task at hand we can resume. In regards to the reformation of the Empire into this Federation of yours Koldar, I think our first point of order would be to establish the exact protocols for how the other worlds would choose their representatives." he proposed. "Last thing any of us needs is thugs leading the worlds that can be easily manipulated or outwitted by either the Saiyans or the Mazoku. But on the other hand, we don't want pure intellectuals either since they'd be more likely to capitulate without giving rise to any defence and thus reduce our territorial holdings further." the bronze Arcosian pointed out. "Be careful with your words, Taiga," Koldar spoke up, his tone threatening as gave a glare at him, "You were requested here to speak of the direction to take the Empire with us... You can very easily have that removed."Orenji having come late was probably the best. Taiga's words, the words of a lawless bandit cloaked behind a soldier's visage, and he was saying that in the presence of the man known as, 'The Ice Breaker.' Among those who were broken were Arcosian bandits, and that was known through the the Empire's military! The Supreme Commander looked towards Abzerute quietly, who had been aiming to discuss exactly how the governments of each planet would operate. The worries about thugs easily manipulated and intellectuals complicating an easy reaction to defense. To this, the Supreme Commander replied, "The system I've in mind is a counter control government. One controls the military and the police that are first nominated by the military commander of the world, which the other two leaders of the world would then approve of. The second is one who's operation is to be the head leader of a world, who provides a tie breaker amd is educated in the fields of the other two. They handle assembly of the leaders and moderate the laws presented and requests from eiter individual. The last handles affairs of trade and negotiate with planets aiming to be allies with them. They will, of course, be discussed with the militant leader and head leader of the planet. This is how it operates on a planet to planet level, however. When it comes to a higher level, Arcose has final say on matters proving difficult to determine. Does this make sense thus far?"Koldar had something in mind for the whole federation itself. He had made it clear for the planet by planet level, but in regards to the Federation, or for Wyntre and Taiga, the Empire itself, it would be left for Wyntre, Abzerute, and himself to break a tie and make the course for them all! ( Taiga you're up!)

Taiga glances at Captain Botany with a quick air of amusement. While he had little input, his attempt at levity was something at least. Immediately afterwards, Taiga is surprised to see a Ringonite enter the room in a hurry. While he offers a salute, he fails to introduce himself, making Taiga send a bemused sneer at Koldar, as if saying see what I mean? Rather than bark at the newcomer to leave, Taiga assumes that he had been one of those called to the meeting for one reason or another by Koldar, and opts instead to remain quiet.
Taiga weaves his fingers together and places his hands on the table as Wyntre admonishes him for his challenging words. He shrugs; her point of view on the matter changes nothing in Taiga's mind. She easily could have chosen to return to Arcose and train herself there. And he has little doubt that the former Empress returned to the living realm before he did, and could have stood with him against the Mazoku Dominion's annexation when Koldar would not. Her power alone would not have helped them stave off the second Saiyan invasion, however, and likely would have resulted in far more destruction than had resulted from Xylo's arrival. No doubt the Saiyans would have succeeded in their attack if Xylo hadn't arrived, with or without Wyntre's power. He wanted to pry further at Wyntre for her desertion, and weak counter-argument, but chooses not to.
Abzerute speaks up next, and Taiga turns his head towards the bronze Arcosian. Taiga grins at Abzerute's evident method; threatening to destroy the planets of those who refused to kneel. Taiga puts that bit of information into the back of his mind for later consideration. Abzerute does not continue on the point, nor does he, or Wyntre for that matter, actually argue Taiga's identifying of servants and slaves. But when Koldar does raise an irritated retort, it further cements into Taiga's mind that he is correct, no matter what these three say: They are not completely unified in their ideals. This is another thing Taiga mentally files away for later. When Koldar openly threatens to remove Taiga from the ring of authority, the General only offers an indifferent shrug.
He listens as Koldar proceeds with the meeting, and begins detailing his plans for the splitting of authority.
"You suggest not simply granting authority to a single leader to each world, but multiple." Taiga replies. "In doing so, you open a very easy doorway to our enemies who will seek to exploit it. Regardless of whether or not you find those individuals trustworthy enough, they can be swayed, or bought off, by bribes and threats. Non-Arcosians in particular will be much more easily manipulated in those scenarios."
Taiga looks pointedly at Captain Botany and the Ringonite doctor, and then back at Koldar.
"While there are some who pledge their loyalty, there is no way to ensure it." he continues. "Fear and respect has been the primary motivator for centuries, with little to no proof of failure. But I can see you want to buy off the loyalty of non-Arcosians with promises of power and authority of their own."
Taiga smiles, still maintaining an air of venomous intent.
"To which I can oblige. Those who prove themselves do indeed deserve to get what they deserve, be it authority, or execution." Taiga adds. "You cannot talk of an implementation of authority without also discussing punishment for failure to perform their duties to what is expected of them. Corruption of any kind must be met with execution, or another method that will motivate their successors to perform better."

Botany watched the Acrosians make their power struggle with semi-disgust. They didn't have the time to debate semantics. He was equally unappreciative of the doctor. He didn't care what the level of danger the situation was, he seemed oblivious to the fact that the regeneration tanks they had were able to fully healed any wound and took a lot less attention and energy to use. The fact that he didn't make the proper preparations for the meeting shown his level of tact clearly.
He then listened to Koldar and his explanation of the government. He thought over the ramifications of the checks and balances. It wasn't a perfect system by far, but it was something that could work. At least for the short term. He took Taiga's points into consideration as well, his eyes narrowing at the outspoken general when he looked at the officer.
"Our very out of date and rather loud friend is correct. The system offers many problems. Three people a planet is too hectic, especially with war still raging on. The last we need is a delay in decision making. And it would be very easy to stall. If one of the leaders dies, then what? Emergency powers go to the rest, removing all balances until a replacement is found? Or will a on the spot promotion happen? Too many representatives with too little time. Out planets already stay in line. We need no change in tactic to make sure that they do what they should. Nor is it necessary for trade, as all the planets' have are already government property. We need to slim down the amount of voices so that it is more streamline and allows for less debates and allow for easier planning."
Botany was one for unified opinions and with the amount of people being appointed, it would be very hard to get everyone to agree. They needed quick decisions, not drawn out debates on policies. They didn't have that much time anyway. It didn't matter if they had one or one hundred members of the government once the Saiyans showed up. He didn't want to have to deal with political crap before then.

Orenji had let out a chuckle at Taiga's remarks and after clearing his throat, he stood up in confidents. "I'm sorry but what you are speaking about in terms of authority and that non arcosians are much easier to be swayed is clearly false. How can you say that? Based on that statement I should say that Arcosians kill off non arcosians for their own amusement or when they are mad. Now I'm not going to stand here and say all arcosians are like this because that's not true. Now if you really want to talk about loyalty, you should go about it by a person's character, not their race.
Now as some of you may know, my name is Orenji and I am one of the top medical doctors here. I have done jobs which consisted of repairing limbs, heart transplants, you name it. Now when a member of this faction is seriously injured and they don't have the aide such as a senzu bean or a rejuvenation tank, where do you think they get placed at? The medical center, or my team and I take care of them. We don't care what rank they are or what there species is. We care about saving their lives, saving one of our own. Because at the end of the day, if we don't help one another in times of war, then we will have history repeat itself most definitely! Now I understand why the federation was built to begin with. Now this is just my opinion, but I think it's valid.
Forgive me Wyntree, but during our first war, a lot of people like myself wondered where you were. Now I wont go into details about that. But what I will say is what came after the fact. The fact that we can't run an empire with one leader in charge. By dividing the leadership into multiple and trustworthy people, those who do wrong will pay for it from the other leaders. I don't mean any disrespect towards you Taiga, you fought bravely during our first war and I only heard great things from the ones that lived through the war. You didn't want to abandon your people and I for one respect that about you. But what I will not respect, what I will not believe that it's true, is that you will speak to everyone here and say that non arcosians are more likely to turn traitor to the Empire. Now I don't know what personal issues brought you to that conclusion alone, but I will say this... Don't let one man or woman, or a small group of people fog your mind to an individual who isn't an arcosian, because maybe that one non arocosian can become an inspiring leader and change the course for the faction for the greater good!"Orenji proceeded to seat down back on his chair and awaited everyone's response. Wondering whether his speech would have any positive affects. Wyntre Cold

Wyntre looked around. Most of if not all of the conflict was being caused by Taiga— no real surprise there— but in all of the raffle some points were brought up. ”Yes, I agree. Three is too many.” Three ruling over something so insignificantly small as a planet just wasn’t going to work. Her eyes went over to Taiga. ”Fear would only work if we had the power to back it up. As powerful as we are, in the galaxy we live in, it simply isn’t sustainable.” There were dozens of Super Saiyans gallivanting the galaxy by now, at least. And Xylo of the Mazoku Dominion… Wyntre had no idea how he had attained the power he had. ”Doctor Orenji brings up some good points.” She ignored the bit about where she was during the first war: there was footage of her murder freely available. ”If we were to be removed from our alien comrades, we’d be the lesser for it.”

"The triumvirate plan could work, if it were tweaked." suggested the bronze Arcosian. "We have the established leaders right now on each of the worlds, so we could have them implement sub-leaders to fulfill the roles as you have suggested. Sort of like a council to advise their worlds leadership, with their leadership making the final say on their world. That way its still a single leader, a single voice per world ultimately, but they have a diverse range of voices to better govern their own world." he proposed. "Consider it as... Taiga and Koldar, I presume you had your own underlings? Quartermaster, armoury officers and such who gave you reports on what was going on with your forces and supplies at any given time? You ultimately called the shots, but you took their words and reports under advisement?" he inquired, offering an analogy for the military minded Arcosians. "Of course, as the Captain has pointed out," said Abzerute with a nod towards Botany, "we are currently in the middle of a war so this may not be the ideal notion that you've designed Koldar, but this tweak could expediate the process and set the groundwork. Speaking from experience when I was rebuilding the Empire, we have to work with what we have got right now, not what we wish we could have. Once we have the groundwork established, then we can build on it and get things moving the way we want to." he explained to the group, rubbing the back of his neck afterwards though and sighing. "The problem however would be the incentive to do so. As the General has pointed out, loyalty is in short supply. Especially with the growing powerhouse that is the Dominion around us. The real issue with trying to use the old methods right now however is that the worlds fear of Xylo and his forces, would probably outweigh their fear of us, as Wyntre has pointed out. Hence the buying loyalty as you put it." said Abzerute with a nod towards Taiga. "And no offence Doctor, but all it took for the Empire to fall into squabbling civil war was Wyntre's demise. A power vaccuum was formed, and each world in the Empire, the majority of whom are led by non-Arcosians, each sought to try and fill that void and lay claim to the Empire themselves." the bronze Arcosian informed the Ringonite. Taiga was the first to debate the plan, stating that it would give an easy exploit for outside forces, before shooting an unwarranted glance at Botany and Orenji. Immediately from the red and blue Arcosian came the statement of fear and respect have been the far superior parts of control for centuries! Koldar knew this and it was for this reason that they would be moving towards this Federation style of ruling! His tone was toxic, but his points were off. They had to develop a punishment system for those who would go against those criminals of the empire. "It is good timing that you mention punishment for those who'd stand against us, or turncoat, Taiga," Koldar pointed out, leaning over the table while leering at the General "For you see, I wouldn't be in this position, had one of our own choose to go to Earth and aim to retake power over the Empire by aiming to sell us out to the Earth's leader! That very same one had been Commander Retsu."Retsu, before having been Emperor before Koldar, had been a Commander in the Arcosian military... Or General. The rank, Koldar recalled, was a high one! Against Koldar's advisement and alarm, the Commander believed it was best to still talk with the Premier. He made it known to Taiga to think twice about going to meet with Retsu. Afterwards, Captain Botany, after insulting the General's out of date mentality, spoke about how Koldar's plan for this Federation was definitely in need of fine tuning. He made the point that since they were effectively in the middle of war, they couldn't have the process be so hectic on each world. This mentality Koldar had for the empire was intended to make the workload on the head of the planet, and the Federation, to be less substantial! He'd get to that, but he brought up a good point about what would happen if any of them were to die off. Koldar had figured establishing a chain of command, like how it is within the military, would be good to have. People that the leaders employed to follow them, and they their own follow up in case someone died. Meanwhile, Doctor Vinograd sought to spout some accusations at Taiga, which spilt towards the other Arcosians in the room before finally deciding to introduce himself. He then went to explain his mindset on how things operate, as one of the military's doctors before establishing his opinion that, at the end of the day, they should be working together so history didn't repeat themselves! He was very long-winded with everything he spoke, something Koldar felt may have been nervousness. He then looked and spoke to Wyntre first, before looking over towards Taiga and speaking to him with both respect for what he's done, before stating his own lack of respect for what he spoke of. He had hopes Taiga wasn't this way, and wanted to earn Taiga's trust that he and Botany could lead, even if he wasn't naming either of them! Wyntre's statements were brief, but it was in agreeance to what was said thus far by Taiga and Botany, in that 3 per planet would be too much! Orenji's words, surprisingly, even had the strongest in the Empire agreeing too! It had Koldar smiling inside, but he wouldn't show it here. If Taiga found himself in agreeance, too, without the venomous tone in it, Koldar would be able to determine that Orenji was correctly chosen for the Ringonites! Finally, Abzerute spoke, stating that it needed to be tweaked. His mindset was largely expansive, although perhaps too far ahead of itself right now in that they've already determined the leaders of the AFP's worlds! He, however, quickly narrowed it back down to how the worlds should be run, individually, which Koldar found quick agreeance with. Afterall, Koldar wanted to talk about making this easier to run everywhere! He asked both Taiga and Koldar about this, to which Koldar nodded simply. Then came an identification that they were going to be working the groundwork... The intent of this meeting. Perhaps he was starting to speak in circles? "The starting point, we've all pointed out," Koldar spoke, after Abzerute spoke, "Is that the old Empire had lacking support. The foundation that the Empire sat upon the history of our predecessors and tried to maintain it as so. We need a response system, and we also need to develop the head leaders of these worlds still! Prince Dorafu of Gorgonia came to me a little while ago to re-establish itself within the Empire, which had gone smoothly. We've yet to receive their assistance, and hopefully, they will become present at this meeting, so we know what we have available! As Wyntre pointed out, we lack power, and developing power is something I can do, especially with our current facilities. Only the motivation need be there... Which is what I feel is also lacking currently. Ergo, punishments, as Taiga pointed out, are important to be discussed, but from the ground up, as Abzerute has spoken of! Therefore, we are to discuss the rules for this Federation to live by, regardless of the planet we are on, within this territory..."A pause came from Koldar, as he recalled his intent of the Planet Terraforming Organization he sought to establish. He stated, leaning back and sliding his hands together, "There is also the matter of having members within the Planetary Terraforming Organization, to restore worlds that had become at a loss of life due to enemy attacks, or by disease. Doctor Orenji, I would recommend you look into this on your own time. Abzerute, I recall you were looking into studying planets as well, when first met about a year prior, correct? To figure out how that wretched Tree the SSE used on Arcose and Kanassa? I would recommend you continue this work on your own time, too. This is so none of us lose our homes again to some power grabbers... Solar Saiyan Empire, Retsu, the Mazoku Dominion, or some other force."Koldar was resentful with the last sentence, especially with the Mazoku Dominion mention. He wasn't sure how many times he told these people that Namek, and with it the Dominion, was attacked by the SSE! However, they were intent of keeping an eye on them, and Koldar didn't mind it so much. However, considering they'd been keeping the SSE off their backs for so long to allow this get together, even if they didn't know it, Koldar felt they ought to throw them a bone for the help! ( Taiga, you're up! Koldar's basically listening to everyone and is trying to get the gist of what everyone's saying, before providing his own input on things! He had also stated that Retsu is a dangerous individual that is shouldn't be trusted. On top of this, he brings up the Planetary Terraforming Organization for Abzerute and Vinograd to talk about! Prince Dorafu, unsure if you're back fully or not, but if you're interested, come join us! )

Taiga's crimson eyes shift from person to person as they speak, and twice the two non-Arcosians fail to refer to him properly. The edges Taiga's mouth droop slightly and his eyes narrow in a scowl as the Ringonite casually speaks his name without referring to him by his rank. Captain Botany went as far as to disrespect Taiga in what was a far too casual way; as if he expected nothing to come from doing so. Taiga doesn't care now who agreed with his sentiments; he had been casually insulted by two weak underlings, and the other three Arcosians simply brush over it as if it had never happened.
Strike two.
And then Koldar speaks of reworking everything from the ground up. Politics and Military restructuring were one thing, but for him to suggest that a complete reformation of lifestyle was going to change as well, Taiga had heard more than enough.
Strike three.
Taiga grits his teeth, pushing back a fresh new wave of fury. At this point, Taiga was staring at the table where his hands are clasped together. He knew this was going to be the case, and yet Koldar insists otherwise; it was as if the man wasn't even listening to his OWN words! His hands tighten their grip, making his knuckles somewhat sore. While establishing a Planetary Terraforming Organization is something Taiga would normally agree to, Koldar's foolish idealism glares right through with his words. If they terraform planets, it should be to SELL them; not hand them out to those in need. Even as Koldar speaks, Taiga stands up from his seat, and leers around the room.
Fools, all of them.
"I have heard all that I am willing to tolerate." Taiga announces in a flat tone; resignation in his voice. He reaches up and pulls a pin off the left pectoral section of his battle armor; a pin shaped in a way that designates him a General of the Arcosian Empire. He flicks his wrist, and the pin hits and slide across the table, coming to a rest in front of Koldar. "You are all obsessed with changing our identities; your identities. You are lying to me and to yourselves if you think doing any of this will save us from stagnation. We are well beyond that point."
Taiga clasps his hands together behind his back.
"There is no Empire, and there is no Federation. Our many defeats have made you delusional, and I will not be part of the cultural dismantling of what little remains." Taiga turns away from the three Arcosians and only gives Botany and Orenji a glance as he walks past them. "I am resigning from my post as General. Have fun tearing this society apart, and distributing the leftovers."
For once, Taiga's voice had not raised, he did not yell, and there was no viciousness to his tone. Only resentment and disappointment. Taiga walks silently towards the door, intending to leave.
Intending to exit the thread! If no one physically impedes him, I'll take PL for this thread! Captain Botany you're up!

Botany watched the supreme commander level out everything. The reasoning made sense, but h still saw another way being better. Such a change was still something that would take time. Something they might not have.
"Sir, with all due respect, if we need a response team, let's make a response team and not hassle with a full government change. Most of the planets under the Acrosian banner are content with everything. The Berī, for instance, are very well integrated into the empire and have little chance of rebellion. They are fine themselves. The only race to show malcontent are the Ringonites, which are now content. Let's not fuss with creating leaders for the sake of leaders. I'm already an officer in the force, I don't need to be a politician."
Still, he listened on. Wyntre was right with power. Hey needed stronger fighters than they had. While Koldar and Abzerute were very high, they were about average for being so high in the Acrosian Empire. Not something Botany saw as strength. They needed a lot more experienced fighters to utilize.
Then Taiga spoke up. Anything felt by the captain instantly switched to anger, with some pity. So much so that as soon as Taiga went to leave, the Captain stood up, his eyes locked on the ex-general. This was desertion the alien was talking about. Something he was drilled to not do. He didn't see a reputable general anymore. He saw the Brenchian back on the refueling station from which he began his career. And he didn't like that Brenchian.
"Lords and Lady, before us attempting to leave is an imposter. Surely the real general Taiga is still in hell. No officer I know would fight, kill, and die for his home faction and then desert when there are too many people sitting at this damn table. If this is truly the reputable general who gave his life fighting and being a hero to the Empire, then that data needs to be changed. What stands before is is a whiny, self righteous, shell of any man. Not the person who died for Acrose. Did you hit your head coming from orbit? Nothing I see is worth the title of general if all you are here for is to serve one person. Power level or not, I would make a better general than you with the amount of unbreaking determination I have to keep what I fight for standing. How many times have you fought someone who has blasted your armor off of your skin, shattered your helmet, and thrashed you with their words to Vegeta and back, all the while with a power level way above yours, huh? Someone who should be fighting beside you and smiling with you? Someone, who because some monkey killed our leader, is now fighting and killing those who had been tasked to defend Acrose? You have no right to go on with your righteous attitude. So what if you died? You are back now! If this is the reason for you to abandon your post, then you never deserved your position in the first place.
His body was tense and he knew exactly what he was doing. Taiga was fifty times his power level, but to him it was worth it. Nothing was more satisfying than lashing out against those unloyal. I may be the most idiotic person at this table, but at least that felt good.

"And there he goes.... and here I thought me or Botany over here were going to turn traitor before General, I mean ex General Taiga. It is true that the ringonites have all the more reason to go traitor because of our histories being so negative with the Empire. However, we have progress in a positive direction thanks to Koldar... Taiga, if you truly leave here and now that's fine. But when you come back, make sure to bring Xylo with you. But you know what's funny. Xylo doesn't care about the Arcosians or our empire at that.
and one last thing before you go Taiga. Those who turn their backs on their comrades, won't ever be trusted again. You really think Xylo will trust you when you abandoned your own empire? If anything, he will eliminate you and I will not be surprised one bit..."
Orenji then turned his head to Koldar.
"Sir, I will gladly perform those task of bringing those planets back to life. However, I have devoted my life to saving these soldiers here for the empire. I consider myself the best medic and hopefully one day become the top medic for the empire... Perhaps after this war and after the wounded have been healed, I will gladly help those planets out."
Orenji had his own personal mission in saving the lives of others before anything else.

All around, good points were brought up. Together they were propagating the sorts of ideas on which strong empires were built (or, in this case, continued and strengthened). Even the weak among them, even the not-particularly-highly-educated, partook. All but one. And, when he left, Wyntre was all the glad for it. She relaxed in her chair once again. Now, this was the proper atmosphere in which to drink some fine wine… but she did not. Now that the dissenter was out of the way, the true discussion could begin. ”This.” She moved her hands to motion to those also sitting. ”This is precisely the solidarity that we need.” And precisely the solidarity that they will continue to need for decades to come. ”While I wasn’t at first particularly keen, I now see that, if handled well, the Planetary Terraforming Organisation will be a boon and not of detriment.” Captain Botany, too brought up a… concept. ”No, that was Taiga. If it weren’t, trust me, the real one wouldn’t have been any kinder.”

Post by Abzerute on Dec 4, 2017 15:01:00 GMT
The bronze Arcosian sighed as he returned to his seat, his mind debating whether or not it was the right choice to allow Taiga to leave. "If you come across Retsu in your travels Taiga," he called out to the man as he was leaving, "give him my regards, and leave some of him for me to deal with. I'd like a few words with him before sending him on to Hell." he said as the red skinned Arcosian departed. There was perhaps a use for Taiga in all of this debacle after all... but it was one that he would need to speak with Koldar and Wyntre about in private rather than this little gathering that was going on right now. For the moment however, they had other things to discuss. "In regards to the Terraforming, I was considering re-engineering that nanite technology that the training centers utilise Koldar." said Abzerute. "However, I'm not entirely familiar with the technology, nor the cost output as of yet. I can't imagine that the technology comes cheaply." he admitted and mused. "There's also the matter of the Tree in question. As far as my own research can ascertain, the damned things magical in nature and we are sorely lacking in that department of information and responses to such an act." he said before holding up a single solitary finger. "Yes, I know I said magic. Believe it or not gentlemen," said the bronze Arcosian as he looked towards Botany and Orenji in turn, "magic is indeed something that exists. The fact that people are restored from the literal dead should be proof enough of that fact for some. As well as Nameks reconstruction in particular." he pointed out as examples of proof. He sighed before shaking his head. "The problem however lies in dealing with it. That Tree could come back at any time and resume its march of planetary destruction, and from what little I've been able to glean from old legends and such, simply destroying the plant doesn't inherently stop it from coming back." he said, his fingers curling under his palms like fists. "I had been trying to figure out a way of reversing the process, sort of like flipping the switch as it were. Alter the Tree in some way that instead of draining life when its employed, it instead rejuvenates it... No success so far I'm afraid since its all theoretical and conjecture at best." he freely admitted. Koldar Frost

Taiga... The damned fool! The brash Arcosian couldn't get his head out of his rear end! Koldar's changed color, rage building in him as the General called them all delusional before handing his his pin in as General. Botany gave a compelling speech, which Orenji took some of the energy out of, just to move on with the discussion. Abzerute sought the same, focusing on the Tree and thinking that it was still around! Wyntre, meanwhile, pointed out that this was why they needed to change, and Koldar was in full agreeance. "The seed of the tree is gone... TAIGA!"Koldar shouted out, glaring at the Arcosian's back. He was going to listen, and listen good. "Since you are intent on fleeing, I only have one request: meet me, alone, in the Glacial Belt! The day and coordinates will be given to your scouter," Koldar bellowed, intending to snuff out this ember before it can turn into a fire to destroy what they were creating from the Empire! The anarchic Arcosian would be broken and shown the error of his ways... Even if Koldar had to hunt him down himself! ( Taiga I give you the chance to respond to us all! If you're choosing not to, then Captain Botany is up next! Koldar sounds like he's requesting a duel, isn't he? )

For the most part, Taiga ignores what few words are sent his way as he starts to walk past the door, when Koldar shouts over to him. He stops, not bothering to turn around, a grin appearing on his face.
"Meet you alone, in one of the most inhospitable places in the galaxy?" Taiga chuckles. "I make no guarantees. If you think I'm interested in walking into a trap, you are mistaken. I have nothing more to offer to the Arcosian Federation, and it has nothing more to offer me. Our paths diverge here."
Taiga finally turns back to regard everyone in the room.
"Consider me of no use to your future endeavors; you have your paths to walk, and I have mine." Taiga tells the group. "Use your time to build whatever you like, and do try to keep it from being burned to the ground when your plots are discovered. And as for this Retsu person; consider him dealt with if I do encounter him. How I choose to do this, is mine to decide. Farewell, Lords of Arcose."
With that, Taiga finally leaves, his future now uncertain. And by Koldar's tone, no doubt a violent one. But no matter; Taiga is adept at violence.
Captain BotanyWith that, Taiga exits the thread! I'll take PL!
