Matt wiped the sweat from his brow, finally finishing the final delivery of the day, it was around the time where the sun was drifting closer to the horizon, and the temperature and atmosphere were at a tranquil stand still. Getting changed as to not smell, he bundled up his clothes and sighed- not in a relief way where he was genuinely exhausted, but more in a decompressing kind of sigh that was accompanied by a wave of relaxation sweeping through his body. With his boss calling out "See ya later Tiger!" as well as a few goodbye's from his coworkers, he got up. Trying to compose himself, he put on a big ol' smile as he walked out the employee bathroom and out to the city. Looking out to the calm evening with a sense that didn't come from noon or night. The feeling of being able to go anywhere. Do anything he wanted. He immediately broke out into a light run, speeding behind the pizza shop, and going all the way around. His aura came to life as he flew and sped right towards the thick of the city. Wishing to explore for once.
Coming to the thickest part of the traffic he had to start making sure he didn't run into anyone. Honestly, he let his flight go so he could land. Thinking it'd be a bit more annoying to try to avoid everyone than just land and walk like a normal person.

Cerbris was taking his mood easy for once. His sister was out an about in the city, being the hyper child she was. One might think it was dangerous to leave someone so hyper and adventurous out in the city with fear of kidnapping or some other unhealthy fashion of events, but he did not worry. The half demon was certain his sister would come be able to find him over him finding her. If she got attacked, she'd probably give the attacker a swift bite. Needless to say, she was safe.
Cerbris adjusted the scouter glasses on his nose. They were his newest creation and so far seemed to be working like a dream. The transition lenses has adjusted to drifting sun, the tone still dark to give him that last bit of protection against the harsh remaining rays. As the hybrid looked up and down the street, his eyes searched for a resting place. An inn or a hotel that could at the minimum provide a sleeping space. Cerbris had very little cash remaining from the purchasing of parts for the scouter, as well as the pieces for his still malfunctioning hoverboard. It would be a while before he could probably make up some of that cash again...
The Halfling lashed his purple tail to the ground violently as his mind leaned to hunger. Oh, how he craved spaghetti... It was such a strange craving but one cannot deny one's self. The boy reached into his pockets, finding nothing but scraps of paper for future inventions. How was he ever to pay for his sister's entry into that fighting school? Cerbris slouched over himself and heaved a sigh. What was he going to do? |

The afternoon was beginning to wane as the sky gave way to the night. Currently would be rush hour within the city where people would navigate their way through their city back to their homes or transportation for the night. As such the streets of the city were crowded as people tried to find their way back to their homes. Culu, one who has always slept via the pattern of the sun was beginning to grow sluggish as her body began to respond to the setting sun upon the city. Still, despite her weariness from her adventure in the city and her natural sleeping habits, she would force her eyes open to find her brother. He was the one that would manage their living plans on Earth. He had also mentioned to meet up at a certain location when she was done with her mini-adventure, although much to Culu's misfortune she had forgotten where As she wandered up and down the streets, she understood she wasn't going to be able to find Cerbris on foot due to her height and the sheer amount of people who were out in the city at this point in time. Sliding into an alley she would summon Sharptooth before hastily climbing on his back, giving him the unspoken word to fly up and to help search for her brother. As the skull blaster began to levitate high in the air, Culu looked off the edge, looking for a semblance of purple skin or perhaps an exposed tail as a sign. Even some sort of strange gadget would be enough of a clue to give out his current location, although unfortunately, she was unable to find any clue that would lead to him. "Cerbrissssss!" She called out as she floated around a crowd, attracting some unwanted attention with her voice, although she would promptly ignore those who stared at her. "Where are you?" She would continue to float around, trying her best to search for her brother whom she was unable to find. |

Matt followed the natural flow of the group, looking about to the shops, the theatres, and the restaurants. He put one hand on his stomach, chuckling a bit as he realized he should have eaten dinner at work, for the discount. He was going to continue on with the thought process, however, he heard someone call out for a name he hadn't heard before. [Does someone need help?] Matt didn't think too much about it as his aura flared to life, spooking the traffic just a tiny bit- more in the sense that there was no warning. He floated into the sky, looking around curiously. At the 'where are you?' He turned in the direction of the yelling and floated over to see a small person floating across the sky on a skull. Matt made a bit of a face at this discovery, raising one eyebrow and a smirk growing on his face from the sheer confusion of someone floating on a skull.
"Hello? Are you looking for someone?" He asked aloud, keeping his distance but showing his obvious interest in helping the hybrid. "I could help if you wanted?" He offers, though immediately realized that he had no clue what 'cerbris' looked like. "a-ah, what does Cerbris look like by the way?" he said scratching at the back of his neck awkwardly.

The purple-skinned engineer put his back against a wall as he continued to search his pockets and satchel. Nothing was to find in there except plans, a few spare packs of ramen, and... what were these, arcade tokens? Why did he have arcade tokens?! Cerbris covered his mouth to fake a sneeze, only to yell into it with anger. He was making terrible progress as a brother so far on Earth. I knew I should've grabbed some extra coin... Thought the half demon, his eyes watching the passers, some with wide eyes to see such a strange figure.
Cerbris looked around once more, finding his feet drifting on their own to a nearby shop labeled "Pete's Parts". The Saiyan scoffed and twisted his lips. That was such a dumb name... Wait, maybe he could get the money he needed from this shop? Cerbris looked around the shop through the window to see if anyone was around, finding very few people going through the store. There was a "craft-your-own-device" table featuring few parts with crappy materials and all tools, all spare parts given away to creative children inventing projects. Today, he would be the lucky one using those tools.
The engineer walked inside, looking at the counter to see a man in a jumpsuit close to the one he used to wear when he first started his job. A basic blue for basic beginners, though it was doubted that humans used such suits to label people on skill. Cerbris walked to the back after letting the door close on it's own, stopping at the table of parts. "Let's see, wires, screws, nuts, bolts, some electrical chips, sheets of metal and some..." The Saiyan picked up a circle like piece, see through in a green color. Upon the touch, the circle was still and slimy... It was old candy, spit out by an unwanted child... Perfect!
He put the candy on the table and started to work away on a small devices, shaped like a blade. The insides were filled with electric parts, charging the blade with stunning power. The blade was made of a poorly fractured sheet of metal that he bent and cut into shape with his bare hands, and let me be the first to tell you, that is impressive as hell. The half demon looked at the blunt blade and turn on it's power, a shock running through it. "Perfect..." He mumbled, turning it off and looking at the piece of candy. He reached over and picked it up, smiling. He had left a slot in the knife for a gem to color the lightning, but he hand no gem to add into it. Luckily, this small sucking candy would fit perfectly.
The Saiyan put the 'piece de resistance', giving the dagger a new sense of power. The "gem" fit perfectly, and even looked close to realistic... Why did he make this? The Saiyan walked outside and looked around. It was time to find his sister... To the park! The Halfling started to match back to the center city to find the park he had requested his sister to meet him at. |

After what seemed to be around fifteen minutes, Culu's efforts would turn out to be fruitless. Slowly she we beginning to abandon hope of finding her brother, as it was beginning to show in her search efforts. She became more hasty when looking around her vicinity, her voice no longer had the same drive as it did originally and her eyes were starting to droop from exhaustion and hopelessness. She was beginning to think of the worst. While she was confident Cerbris would be able to hold his own against any danger, she shivered slightly at the thought that she would never be able to find him again. Possibly the two would be able to meet up together once more if they were to reunite in Capper's shop, but that would still require her to spend a night alone. While it was something that was manageable to the more primitive hybrid, she wondered what her brother would do and began to fret. Trying a single more call, to her surprise someone responded. For a moment her eyes perked up in excitement as for a second she had thought the voice had belonged to Cerbris when she realized the tone was far different. Turning her head, she noticed a human flying towards her, causing a brief moment of confusion. She was unsure of how to interact with a human, most of the time she had allowed her brother to talk to them while she would hide in the background. However, Culu knew she would need help if she were to find Cerbris and this human appeared as if he were willing to provide the help she needed. "Yes mister. I'm looking to find my brother. Thank you for the help!" Eyes lighting up with relief and happiness she continued, "He looks like a demon like I do. Purple skin and a loooooong tail like this long with a fuzzy ball on the end." Placing her arms as far away as she could from each other, Culu had tried to demonstrate the length of his tail. For a second she had also paused, thinking about what other noticeable features Cerbris had that would distinguish him from the other humans. "Oh he also looks like a nerd, especially when he wears that outfit of his." She said with a wide grin on her face, feeling proud with her description of her brother. "Do you think you can find him with all I told you?" |

Matt listened to her explanation of what cerbris looked like, and he grabbed his own tail lightly, checking his tail "Im guessin' the tuft at the end sort of looks like this..." He looks up to the sky which was quickly darkening and thought to himself [The moon's gonna be up soon- a child shouldn't be out when the moon is, just sounds like a miserable time. I better find her brother] With that he escalated his power to increase his flight speed, nodded to the child and said: "Don't worry, i'll be as quick as I can!" With that he focused inward, his ki splitting off from his body to form another clone. Multiform.
The first Matt looked to the other and nodded "You go check that way, i'll check this way" He instructed his own clone- before speeding off in opposite directions.
Looking at the scenery in a vast sea of people, he noticed namekians, Saiyans, hybrids, and demons. There weren't nearly as much as humans who were the majority species on this planet, but at the same time, every time one of the clones saw a demon they'd have to ask their name or check Saiyan tails to make sure they weren't the tail that she'd elaborated on. After a few minutes covering the immediate area, the first clone thought about if Cerbris had gone inside, and the other wondered if he was in alleyways. The first one landed and started running into stores. Thankfully since the traffic was mainly to go home, there weren't many people inside the stores. He took a quick look each time, calling out the name 'Cerbris? Your sister needs you!' waiting one moment, then running right back out to the next store. He went inside Pete's parts, though didn't see him and called out once more 'Cerbris? Your sister needs you!' and waited before running out of the door. and he ran off to the next store.
Meanwhile, The other clone was going through alleyways, searching top and bottom, and railings. Not seeing much, though the more annoying thing was dodging some trash bags that dropped like rocks into the dumpster from someone's window. [Oh, come on! what if someone was flying through this dark alle- actually... fair enough. Ack... I wonder how the other clone's doing. Maybe I should check the parks if the other clone hadn't] He thought to himself, speeding towards the park now.

Arriving to the parks, the Halfling stuck to the dirt roads, eyeing the joggers. They eyed him back, which was only reasonable. He was the strangest creature they’d probably ever seen. Even though the glances were mutual, Cerbris didn’t feel bad behind his glasses, silently observing the passing power levels and saving them into his memory. It was interesting to see the diversity of power level. You wouldn’t think to see certain levels on certain people, but it was astonishing.
A mother had a power level of nearly 500 while her lover was a smaller 138. That may not sound entirely strange at first, but the physique of the man was that of someone who worked out. Maybe this was a spiritual ascension thing, or maybe the mother has gone through something life threatening. Cerbris was tempted to ask but felt it would be rude to ask if she’d been through some chaotic fight scene to the death.
Arriving to a nice spot around a lake, the Saiyan opened his bag and unsheathed a blanket. The Halfling took his time on laying the blanket out and piling rocks on the corners so that it wouldn't fly away due to some heavy breeze. After the area was set, he sat down on the blanket and sighed. His sister was probably going to be late, as she usually got distracted by something. He knew this fact too well, but one way or another, she'd find him.
How did he know? Because the approaching power level in his scouter was hunting someone with incredible speeds. Whether this was Culu or not, he didn't know, but he knew that this was Culu’s search party. This wouldn't be the first one, and if Cerbris had to guess, it wouldn't be the last. The Half Demon raised his tail up to the sky, revealing the pomp of fur that extending from his tail, the usual sign he gave for his recognition.

The man grabbed a tail of his own as she would describe her saiyans tail, revealing his status as a saiyan. Culu was slightly shocked as she had not known that saiyans other than themselves have inhabited Earth after the invasion some years prior, but she would not question this for now. She had far larger problems she would need to deal with right now. "No, not like that. Like a mass of fur on the end while the rest is skinny and purple." As the man split into a clone of the original, the hybrid had nearly fallen off her blaster in surprise. The shock quickly faded away and made way for innocent curiosity. "You can split into more people? How do you do that!" For this moment she had forgotten about her predicament at hand, too amazed by this feat. However he had already flown away before she was able to finish her question. Sadden by his departure slightly, Culu instead decided to continue searching for her brother. She considered for a moment to go follow the man, as she had nowhere else to go. However, she was far slower than he was if she were to fly after him. After a few moments, Culu immediately ordered her skull to fly in the direction of the man as fast as he could before holding onto him tightly as he began to accelerate. However with her attempt to find the man, it appeared that she had gotten herself lost in the city even more. Frantically she tried to navigate through the alleyways and the streets and once where she had reached a dead in, decided to fly higher to get a better view of the city. As she reached the height of the city, she would stand on her blaster before looking around. At her altitude she was able to see the entire city: the business sector, the residential area, the park... The park! Upon seeing the park from that height she would remember where they were going to meet up. For a second she felt slightly guilty about enlisting a help of another person, but quickly dismissed the idea as she ordered Sharptooth to fly down to the park. Hopefully Cerbris would still be there when she arrived. |

The first clone which had been searching the stores was having no luck. He went to store, to store, to store looking for someone of Culu's description. Sometimes feeling embarrassed as some people didn't take kindly to someone just randomly shouting into stores. Now the first clone had thought to himself [Maybe they're at the park? It's a bit unlikely but-] He turned tail and sped off towards the park. Hoping he could do right by someone else today.
The second clone had gotten to the park, looking around. The second clone then heard the first clone call out as the second one had slowed down to a stop to turn and face the clone "I couldn't find Cerbris! Is he here? W-WAIT OH CRUD DONT SLOW DOWN!" The first clone shouted in a panic. The two collided mid-air and fused into each other, causing the resulting Matt to fall right to the ground, on his back "Aghk!" was the noise of choice as all the air was knocked right out of him. He pulled himself up and felt a bit dizzy. So dizzy in fact he could swear he could see someone with purple skin- and a puff tail too. Like how Culu des- OH ITS HIM! Matt jumped up with a start and asked nigh breathlessly as air finally began returning to him "Are you Cerbris? Your sister's been looking for you" He managed to get out before the need to take a deep inhale took over and he fell to his rump, letting himself recover naturally. Taking another look at the person in question; Matt did think to himself [I'm not even sure what constitutes nerd in other cultures but... yup, that's a nerd and ah... those are very pointy teeth.]

Cerbris felt backwards and onto his back, looking up at the Saiyan before him. “Cerbris? That’s me. Yeah, Culu was supposed to meet me here, I was supposed to wait on her return but as it usually end…” He sighed, a little disappointed. “She always loses me…” He wasn’t trying to sound like a jerk, but he figured that he was anyways. The Saiyan halfling stood up and smiled, giving that really big smile he always does. “Alright then, direct me.” he said, noting that Culu was not with this Saiyan.
Cerbris looked around the park one last time, remembering the beauty that resided in this park. His tail swayed happily as he watched the waters of the lake. It was a tempting sight. He wanted to hop in, which was strange, because he never really enjoyed swimming, but he watched anyways. Maybe his sister would enjoy this place? She was young and could probably find interest in the waters, that was, if she was allowed in it.
Cerbris face the Saiyan, eyes kind and smile big. “A warning, I can’t fly, so please keep slow for me, friend” Cerbris put his hands in his pockets and started to walk. “Should a Saiyan even be out this late on a day like this? It is a full moon, you know!” He looked at Mattenes with raised eyebrows, his hands now in his pockets as he started to walk. |

As Sharptooth and Culu descended into the park, immediately she began to shout his name in an attempt to find him. " Cerbris! Cerbris! Where are you? I'm sorry I'm late but I forgot for a second." However, she was unable to find him in the place where he did say he would be standing. Was he late? Or did he leave without her? She didn't want to fathom the possibility, but it was indeed something that could have happened. She would quickly shake her head as if to physically force the thought out of her head. She knew her brother too well, he would never do anything like this to her. Immediately, she went back to her search. She would continue calling out to her brother. Fear immediately took control of her emotions as she noticed the full moon that would slowly rise over the horizon of the sky. What if that saiyan man had found Cerbris? She did notice he was a saiyan and she enough about them to know what would happen during a full moon. Hundreds of thoughts filled her mind, most of them forcing her to think of Cerbris who was in danger if he was near a saiyan at this point of time. However if this were true, if he did find Cerbris they would be travelling where they both met up. Immediately she hopped back onto her skull as the two began to speed back to where Culu had met the saiyan for the first time. It wasn't that far away, as she was able to reach the area in a matter of minutes, before pausing and waiting for the two if they were to return to the area to find her. She would continue calling out her brother's name, possibly to attract his attention so he knew that she was safe and where she was. |

Matt nodded, turning and simply walking back towards the city. "Alright, She was near the alleyway so it shouldn't be too far from here." He explained. "Maybe you two should get a form of long-distance communication? I- I mean, admittedly I kinda... don't know what I'd use if I were in your boots, but. Ya know." He looked around as they walked, trying to grab his bearings. Looking up a little to recount how he flew. "Lemme see... I went... there, there... n-no wait that was the clone... There? Hmm... Oh, I know that store, it should be a bit closer!" He smiled, glad that he wasn't a total failure when it came to directions. "So what did you mean by that? A Saiyan bein' out in the full moon wouldn't be bad would it?" He explained, having never dealt with the Oozaru problem.
He stopped his questioning as he thought he heard Culu, off in the distance. Close to where they first met. Oh, he was going a bit around to get to her, well- navigation skills need a bit of work... "I think that's your sister, I- Think."
(Ah, not my best post but i'm kinda feelin' weird writing wise)
