It had been a long day of eating, training, and possibly a bit of tom foolery. He returned to his ship just outside of East Capitol, heading inside to take a rest. He'd walk through the quiet halls of his ship, each footstep echoing through the Arcosian design. There was a slight hint of loneliness in Retsu's face, but it was only there for a moment. It wasn't like anyone was here to see him. He headed to the command section of the ship and moved to the console, where he tapped a few buttons here and there. He turned down the temperature quite a bit, then turned to focus his attention to his scouter. He had only recently put it back on. Having not worn it for some time. The floral shirt and shorts wearing arcosian tapped its button a few times, frowning to himself. There were several notifications. No doubt people asking where he was, or giving him updates. He frowned to himself. Had he really been that inconsiderate? It made his heart sink just a tad before shaking his head. He rifled through the lists of scouters he had saved before stopping upon Koldars. A military man just like himself. Older, a veteran deserving of respect. A sigh came to Retsu before he tapped the button to call him. He'd wait a few moments, before speaking up. Either to leave a message or if Koldar had picked up. "Koldar, Its Retsu. I'm currently on Earth. Heard I wasn't Emperor any more, though I can't blame you for that. I did just kind of disappear. I hows the alliance with Xylo and the namekian's going?" He'd pause for a moment. "By the way I ran into Wyntre the other day. She plans to take the throne once more, however she's also said she's willing to work with the current emperor if they are doing a better job than her. We both know no one wants Wyntre to be Empress again. So we have to do our best to keep her from getting the throne back."
"Another thing, about Emperor. I know I'm in no position to do so but I'd like to know if you guys were looking for an Emperor again. I know I was abit shoddy, but there were alot of things going on and I was new to the whole thing. An empire is much larger than a planet you know." He'd stretch for a moment. "I have plans that we can use to not only cripple the saiyans without so much as lifting a finger, or killing anyone, as well as a way to get more income for our empire overall." He frowned. "However I can't put those plans into motion unless I am Emperor once more."
"Speaking of... How are you doing? Not the Empire, not the planet. But you? Last time I saw you you were getting over some sort of disease. Did that heal up alright? Last thing we need is you dying on us. You are a veteran, a strong soldier, and a strong leader. Maybe a bit old for the job, but we both know age wont stop either of us from supporting our people and our empire."

"Emperor Koldar, sir!" A soldier cried out, rushing to the throne room where Koldar was dealing with some aristocrats that were bothering him quite a bit. He saw the soldier and shouted, "SILENCE!"The room silenced, these aristocrats shaking in their robes while Koldar waved the soldier to come up. The messenger rushed over to the first level of stairs before the throne, requesting, "Permission to whisper the message in your ear?" "What requires you to speak it to me in such a manner," Koldar questioned irritably, before demanding, "Speak it aloud, youngster! I've much work to handle!"The soldier gulped, before explaining, "It concerns the former Emperor, Retsu. He... He has been aiming to speak to you directly! He has contacted your scouter!" "Bring it... So help me if this a false individual claiming to be the former Emperor," Koldar demanded, his irritability very prominent. The Soldier brought up the scouter, Retsu's voice having been transmitting through the earhole. It was only until it was within grabbing distance that Koldar recognized the muffled voice! He waved everyone, shouting out, "Wait outside my throne room. ALL OF YOU!"Koldar put the scouter over his ear, as Retsu was talking, asking Koldar how he was doing. Seemed he was excited to be talking to him that he didn't even realize Koldar only just now got the scouter! Koldar cleared his throat, after Retsu finished speaking, and asked, "Retsu? How did you get this frequency? Where the hell have you been?"( Lord Retsu, your go. Let's be quick!) |

"You say that like all Military personnel don't have connections to one another." He spoke, narrowing his eyes. "As for where I've been, I've been all around the galaxy my friend. Raiti-Zarco, Planet Shikk for a bit. Some other planets here and there. Nothing too big. Currently I'm on Earth actually." He frowned. "Given your question, I'm assuming you didn't hear the rest of the message. So I'll break it down real quick."
"Right now I'm going to be trying to set up a meeting with the man whom rules earth. I don't know his name, but I have matters of grave importance to speak with him about. That is, if I can even get a meeting in a timely fashion. Humans are so strung up about time." He chuckled to himself. "They do so have such short life spans.."
"Other than that, I ran into Lady Wyntre. She aims to take back the throne. Either with words or by force. I didn't get a scan of her with my scouter, but she mentioned something about unlocking a long since forgotten form of the Arcosian people. And once she's mastered it plans to come to arcose to most likely Murder you and whoever else is currently in charge, should you not bow to her whims..."
"And thirdly... How goes our Alliance with the Namekians? That battle I had with Xylo was a test, and I passed it, to some extent. We are supposed to support them to the fullest, however they might need us. You have been doing that haven't you?" He frowned. "Xylo is considerably stronger than all of us combined, and I'd hate to be on his bad side. More so than the SSE."
Retsu opened a can of HETAP with a hiss before taking a drink from it. "We are in dangerous times. The Empire as a whole is going to be going through a lot. We can both agree that Wyntre should not be Empress again. I've tried to change her mind about taking up the throne, but its so far been a waste of time. So, you can have that little heads up as my good will to you. Tell your men to be ready to fight for their lives. I'll be heading back some time soon. Not sure when exactly."

"Considering there's been much time, even if it's only been 3 months, roughly," Koldar retorted, having a seat on the throne and rubbing his eyebrows, "Yes, I wasn't expecting this... And yes, do repeat what you've said."Koldar figured he'd be trying to do something reasonable, aiming to get an idea of where he was going with this. He immediately brought up trying to meet with Vi-Poi, not knowing the android's name or the fact he was a android and not human! Then he mentioned how Wyntre was seen back on the planet, and she mentioned how she'd be trying to retake the throne with some new power long forgotten by their people. On top of this, he asked about the relationship between the Arcosian Empire and the Mazoku dominion, stating how he had battled with Xylo, who was simply testing the younger militant, and how he didn't want the Empire to get on Xylo's bad side. Koldar was gripping the end of the throne's arm rest tightly, but held back some as not shatter part of the throne with his grip. Retsu explained how he was trying to make Wyntre reasonable, and how the Empire was going to be in dire straits should she try to retake the throne. He was stating how he was going to be leaving soon to Arcose, and how they should be ready for when they come to try and take the throne! "I will answer this in reverse, and consider this an order. First, you shall not waste your time on that planet, for the 'Premier,'" Koldar stated, snidely placing the title of the leader of Earth, "Has stated that they will not be assisting us to stop the SSE, even after their most recent escapade on their home world! This is especially so, considering that it was that bastard, Vi-Poi, who blew Namek to high hell, to only restore it and think things would be okay and smoothed over just because he did that for that world, and for both Arcose and Kanassa... Kanassa, of which, has had its entire populace wiped off the face of it without anyone knowing why. If Wyntre comes to try and take the throne, I will be the one to reason with her about how things are running here and how we will need her strength to, instead of having to defend against whatever power she has built up and I know she has, too..!"Koldar brought hand up and slammed it as a fist on the armrest, clearly finding difficulty to speak without pulverizing everything in the throne room. He took a deep breath, before continuing, "As for Xylo, I know fully well his abilities and intend to NOT be trifling him. Which has been why the Arcosian Federation of Planets, as the Empire is to be called from here on although it is acceptable to call it the Empire, is waiting on standby for the Mazoku warlord to give his orders. He has not, as of yet. Right now, we are building our strength, so we are not so weak. We have even re-acquired Abzerute as an asset, despite the coup you pulled... Return to Arcose immediately, Retsu. That is your job right now."( Lord Retsu)

Retsu stayed quiet, allowing Koldar to speak. He frowned as Koldar went on, not liking the way the conversation was going. Once Koldar finished Retsu sighed.
"I suppose I should of expected this kind of reaction. You think far too much in the Military mindset... A federation? Really? Next thing you'll be telling me is the Galactic Patrol is our best friend." There was heavy sarcasm in that last bit. "Allow me to give you my rebuttle. I am, and always will be Loyal to Arcose. However I, in no way, will ever follow an order that would doom our entire race. You say this Vi-Poi blew up Namek, thats news to me. He sounds like an Arcosian already. Not to mention he controls Earth. The most Prosperous and happiest planet in the known universe. I WILL be dealing with him, as he may very well be our salvation."
He shifted and took a seat in his ship's control chair. He frowned as he continued. "Its a shame about Kannassa. I'm not sure how that happen, or why, or How but losing an entire population is kind of a big deal. I have an idea of a way to fix said problem, but I have a feeling your head is so far up your own rear you wont even hear me." He stretched for a moment. "And another thing, I am loyal to the Arcosian People. Not necessarily the Emperor. You cannot, and will not ever be able to order me around with such a disrespectful tone. I am a General, and while you may have Seniority over me, My records are Flawless. Not a single planet destroyed, or race extinguished. You will show me the respect I deserve, or so help me When I get back there I'll smack that pretentiousness right out of your damned body."
"And furthermore... Agent Vroze is certainly not going to like this in the slightest. He's going to be very cross with you I'm betting. No doubt so will this Vi-Poi when I meet with him." He crossed his arms and shut his eyes. "So, on the fact that I have Empire business here that far exceeds the plans of an old coot playing Emperor, I'm going to stay here, and save our entire race until I feel sufficiently motivated to come back to Arcose and give you are stern talking to. However, there may be the chance that wyntre will have absolutely destroyed you, which if is the case It was nice knowing you."

Retsu spoke back to Koldar, thinking he held position to debate with Koldar. After he finished, Koldar only spoke plainly to Retsu, confirming his order, "You have a week to get back to Arcose, Retsu. The SSE isn't pulling its punches against Xylo nor against us. You have a week to get your chance with Vi-poi. After that, you will get off that lazing planet to Arcose before Wyntre, Habana, or whatever annihilated Kanassa's people get their grimy hands on the Empire and its people. "Koldar, I've made my position very clear. I will come when I decide the time is right. Not a moment sooner." He narrowed his eyes. "You might think you are in charge, but my duty is to the people, not to you." He chuckled to himself. "You think just because you have a title, which might I add is mine, that I'll just bend a knee to you because you want to boss me around? You thought wrong."
"Our focus shouldn't be a military action. As it stands, even if we trained now we wouldn't even so much as scratch one of the SSE heads. If they appear we are doomed. Unless we have allies. Allies who could take down the SSE." He sat back in his chair, taking another sip from his HETAP. "That is just one of the many reasons I'll be speaking with the Earth leader. And Xylo? Please. He is already an ally. I don't know what he's been doing recently granted, but an Ally is still better than nothing. Namek itself is a powerful friend as it is. And if I can convince earth to aid us... Well we wont have anything to fear."
He stretched. "You really should try to be more diplomatic and understanding. I know you have ideals of your own, but the old ways of the Arcosian people can't get us through everything. That is why I am doing what I am. I'm ensuring our people have a future. While you.... You prepare for a military action. Something that no doubt will end our Empire." He sat up a bit. "I'll be acting as an Ambassador from now on. Emperor or Not. And as such I'm going to do what I can to keep our butts safe."
"I wish you'd understand my perspective, but such things are impossible it seems. Have a good few days Koldar. They may very well be your last." With that he tapped his scouter, hanging up on him. "...Things are becoming quite complicated it seems."

"Retsu, you assume I hadn't," Koldar screamed, "He is harboring ZUCCETA despite her having led the entire SSE against the Earth! I saw her with my own fucking eyes! You are in danger just being on that planet! You-"
He heard the fool hang up on him. He ripped the scouter off his earhole and crushed it. He growled, "The damn fool deserves the death comi-"
The messenger from before opened the door to the throne roome, Koldar zapping right next to his hand! He shouted, "I gave you no permission to enter!"
The soldier stepped in and bowed on all fours, apologetically speaking, "My Emperor! I am sorry! However I have alarming news from Namek!"
"What can be so important that you dare step in and-"
"The SSE has attacked Namek!"
Koldar's eyes widened, stepping down from the throne to the lower level slowly. He demanded, "When did this happen?"
"Just now, but the transmission is several days old. Our communications from beyond AFP space is jumbled up from the attack from months ago."
"S-several days?! DAYS?! Get your ass over to the base and find out why we only got this information so late! NOW! And send those windbags outside away or there will be heads rolling!"
The soldier scrambled, while Koldar made his way back up to the throne room. He knelt forward, hands clasping each other while he begun to think. He had to reconstruct his plan for the Federation and how to cripple the SSE... He must!
