He had felt... different, over the course of the past few days. What was it? It felt like a lack of doubt, or restraint, of fear... what had he DONE to himself? He couldn't quite tell. All he knew was that he still needed someone to train with. He recalled back to his meeting a few days ago, and wondered if any of them would actually listen to his proposition. To train with him, to work with him to escape. Sure, it seemed like he had made a partner out of his fellow Saiyan, but he wasn't even sure if he was STRONG enough to prove as a reliable training partner.
And than, there was also the problem with Plato, his majesty, of whatever hick world he controlled. Konats, was it? Yes, that's what he had said, at least Tomoka THOUGHT he said that. Plato seemed like the only possible obstacle in Tomoka's way. He had proven to be a tad hostile in the past, and he had also proven to be quite all over the place when it came to such. Still, Tomoka believed that as long as he steered clear of the mad king, and treated him with some degree of respect and tolerance in the future, he might just wind up leaving hell without an angry, super strong monarch who wanted to rip his head off following him out.
And than, there was the deal with... that ABSENCE of a being. When Tomoka had reached out, trying to see if he was a threat, he couldn't feel ANYTHING.This could mean, of course, that he was just incredibly weak, and coupled with the first time that Tomoka had actually managed to feel someone else's... essence? Power? He wasn't sure, but maybe there was a chance that Tomoka just wasn't able to feel anything, because he had never TRIED to feel anything before. Or... was that THING not alive? Was that VOID, that lack of life, of what he could actually FEEL From a person, was that what he was? An absence of life?
The more he thought about it, the more it made sense to Tomoka. He couldn't be weak, no no. He and Plato seemed to have exchanged blows in that past, and Plato seemed to be on the same level of strength as XYLO, maybe stronger. So, that thing... was a threat. But he was... strong, to say the least. Very, very strong. Strong enough to prove useful later on...
