A Cold Welcome Back ((PL: 23,970/47,940 | M. Weights: ON)) A seemingly lifeless body lays on a beaten path. Snow was lightly falling from the grey skies above. There were no signs of the Sun at all. There were no mountains, buildings, or anything worth looking at. All there was was white snow. Suddenly, the lifeless body began to move. He was barely able to lift his own body up. His legs were frail, and he was bleeding from his arms. Once he managed to get himself up, he examined his surroundings. Or more accurately: lack thereof. He began to stutter words, until he realized that he was alone in the cold. The person asked himself, "...where am...I? This isn't hel-"And then he remembered. He had remembered how he had managed to escape the wrath of Hell after all this time. Jican threw his arms up in victory, as he had finally made it back to the realm of the living. But then he remembered HOW he got here. At the expense of his partner, and best friend. He began to ask himself if it was even worth it. Shibo had been his best (and only) friend since he abandoned Planet Vegeta, and yet Jican had the nerve to abandon him. Jican balled up his hand into a fist as tears began to roll down his cheeks. If he didn't find a way out of this frozen wasteland, then he would freeze and die. "I...I can't go back. Not yet.", he thought to himself. He looked around left and right, hoping he could find some form of life. "HELLO? IS ANYONE HERE? CAN ANYONE HEAR ME?", he screamed. Jican didn't expect anyone to answer him, but perhaps there was hope...
((OOC Notes: For context, Shibo, Jican's friend, sacrificed his chance at escaping H.F.I.L. so that Jican could have another chance at life. After going through a portal, Jican woke up here. He's unfamiliar with this part of the world, so he's really lost.))

Just when he thought all hope was lost, Jican managed to make out something in the distance. A rather strange looking spaceship was darting left and right across the sky. "...a spaceship? What the heck?", Jican asked himself. "But why is it HERE of all places, and why is it-". His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the spaceship landing...less than gracefully. The ship simply sat there in the snow, as its hot engine began to melt the snow around it. Jican managed to make himself stand up, and slowly started making his way towards the mysterious ship. As he made his way towards it, he began to notice that the ship was tilting back and forth. The wind around it was definitely not strong enough to blow it over, so that must have meant that something within the ship was heavy enough to do so. Jican gulped and hoped that that something was not a person.
When he finally reached the ship, the door opened. Jican immediately hid behind the back of the ship, hoping that whatever was there would not see him. He peeked around the corner to see a...thing. "Wh-What IS that thing?!", he asked himself. He recognized the color of its skin and the shape of its horns. Ogres. A chill went down Jican's spine. "Have I been caught? Is this thing here to send me back?", Jican asked himself. The ogre was huge, both in height and in girth. He was a lot more monstrous than all the other ogres he had encountered. And in hell, bigger and uglier usually meant stronger as well. He clenched his fists and tensed his body in the situation that he would need to fight. But then Jican remembered why he was even in this situation in the first place. His arms were bleeding and there was a medium-sized gash on his leg. He would have trouble fighting under these conditions. All he could do now was hope that that abomination of nature wouldn't catch him behind the ship.

At first, Jican could hear his heart beating while hiding from the monstrous Ogre. His breathing got faster, until he gave in and peeked around the corner. The blob of crimson was facedown in the snow, not making a sound. "...Well this is new.", Jican thought to himself. It startled him when the ogre rolled over, thinking that it was about to get up. Of course this fear was for nothing, as the ogre had started making snow angels. It was then when Jican realized two things. "Obviously, this guy isn't the brightest...", Jican told himself. "And as long as he can't see me, then I should be ok-". Jican froze when the ogre referred to him as a "monkey". "...why does everyone know where people are when they can't even see them?!", he asked himself, not knowing of the concept of energy sensing. Jican turned the corner with his hands up. Or at least, he would have had his hands up if his arms weren't in excruciating pain. Walking in front of the ship let him get a better view of the hideous ogre. He was a lot taller up close. And larger. Jican sighed in relief when the ogre said that he didn't want to fight. However, this relief vanished once he realized that this guy probably was not the best person to meet in this situation. He needed someone who could get him healed, not...this thing. Alas, a person is a person. "Well, you caught me.", he said. Against his better judgement, Jican asked the ogre, "Do you need help up?". If he said yes, then Jican would attempt to help the ogre back onto his feet. Of course this wouldn't work, because as soon as he would help the ogre up, he would yell in pain. His arms just simply were not in working condition. Kyori

Jican tilted his head when he realized three things about the situation he's been thrusted into. Firstly, there was no way that this ogre could get himself up. Given his weight and girth, it just didn't seem possible. Secondly, it would be really hard for Jican to get this guy back on his feet without using his arms. The last thing he realized, however, is that if he spent too much time here, then he might get seriously injured. While he was capable of moving his arms at the time, he was afraid that that would not be the case in the very near future. Unfortunately for him, he was the type of person who wouldn't leave someone stranded. Even if his arms were busted and that "person" was a ball of flesh that considered itself an ogre. "Hey, I think I have an idea to get you back up.", he said to the ogre. "Just because my arms are useless doesn't mean the rest of my body is. IF I could get behind your head and spring your head upwards with a good kick, then you should be able to stand upright again, right?". Jican turned his head to the red painted ship behind them. He got behind the ogre's head and lied in the snow. "By the way, I'm really sorry if this hurts. Here goes nothing!", he said. Jican then sprung himself up with a kick that wasn't powerful enough to really hurt the ogre, but hopefully should have been enough to get the guy back onto his feet. Kyori
