HEAR ME
They had spent time upon the planet, but not much time together. It was how things were, she assumed. Much had gone on since they had arrived. From spars to flat out war. Durian had more or less avoided it. Almost like she had been absent of mind and body. A peculiar time, but she was safe none the less. So was her mate. Takeshii? Durian could sense her, but the Saiyaness had not been seen in a good while either. While the Kagami was not outright avoiding any of them, it seemed things would plague her mind upon this odd planet. Water everywhere, or what it seemed to be. Different colors. A whole different atmosphere than she was used to. It was nice... and grating. Odd. It was just odd.
Yet, she wanted to get some things straight with her Saiyan. He had promised to discuss things with her all that time ago when they had left Earth. Nothing had been discussed. Not yet. And her worries had still lingered. The vast expanse of Namek had not dampened that concern either. That past hatred nagging at her soul as she had found mark after mark upon her mate. That he needed to fight. Then him having this leaping sensation to join either that Majin or the Demon in whatever war they were trying to start. Levlidian kept showing this need to fight. And try as she might to not blame this upon his blood. To try and not judge him for the Saiyan he was. She was beginning to doubt those hard thoughts on fate, that it didn’t control them. Was she a fool to think that her Saiyan wouldn’t require the same bloodlust and control as those she had grown up with?
So the Kagami had called out to him. It was time for them to talk. Get the two groups squared away on what they were going to do, as they never really gave anyone a clear answer. And she wanted to find out what all of his scars were about. The pale woman stretched out upon the blue grasses of the plains, just on the bank of the green watered lake. It stretched far, those odd waters, the end not truly visible from this point on the ground. The Kagami looked up towards the sky, red eyes an oddity among the green and blue darkening hues of the planet. Night had fallen, yet light still shone from the sky as it bounced off of masses in space.
Her attire was different for her as well, having been training when she could. Gaining a sense of herself and trying to quiet her mind in regards to Levlidian. Pale legs stretched and near bare as dark colored shorts clung to her hips. Bandages wrapped tightly around her bosom, but her torso covered by a loose tank that currently was partially riding up her midriff as she lay in that odd ‘grass.’ Bare feet. Bare hands. Bare face. The Kagami was particularly uncovered. Did she feel safer on Namek? Partially. Or maybe she was coming to terms with ‘come what may.’
Levlidian would find her though. She’d keep calling for him if need be. He’d come.

Namek, in all it's silent glory bore a calm to the mind behind a singular obsidian orb that observed this alien world, neutrality, it was a fundamental notion he'd been missing back on Earth. Again, a quiet mind swept through him and blanketed his need for combat. However a soft, dove like call soon saw the quirk of Levlidian's attention and his lips blossomed into a slight smile. Durian was calling, they'd agreed some time ago to have a conversation about his steadily increasing aggression. Slowly, dark boots retracted from the slight indentations they'd forged with his weight and his dark Gi swept with the caress of a serpent like breeze. Advancing into the very green scenery, just beyond them a flickering flame attached to their camp- still the slender creature wasn't hard to locate. Dressed entirely differently, exposed flesh the majority for the first time in quite the while they'd been together now. Steadily, her Saiyan drew closer and divulged himself in the darkness- flavouring his appearance as he always had done in that dark Gi of his. The creak of sinew and bone gave way to the motion of his frame, descending to lie aside Durian and trailing his leather bound palms to the exposed flesh of her midriff. Vanishing beneath the green fabric, a paw wandering for the warmth of her and his chest pressing to her shoulder; Levlidian loomed over and his lips would grace her briefly. As Alien as the Moon could appear, here of all places, it felt just as the night after he'd arrived on Earth.
"You called," the Saiyan whispered, calm dripped from his utterance of humbled words, tugging the creature he'd taken as his closer whilst interlocking the less adventurous limb about the slender fingers adrift above the skull of his beloved Kagami. "That conversation," he whispered in rhetorical confirmation. Still, it had suddenly become difficult to concentrate with the rubies he'd rendered in the fading light- a white and black orb of his own peering to her as Durian dwelled in the night. With little time between his utterance and his actions, her Saiyan was carefully bound to the ground beside her and his eyes drifted to their interlocked fingers. He'd been so distraught not so long ago, a Saiyan wishing one function of his interior and yet his blood reared it's head like that of a Devil thwarting his development. "My Injuries, the ones you saw whilst we sought to board our ship-," he paused and drew in his lower lip. The conversation was moving too fast for any context to truly be made use of. Beneath the sparkling diamonds of stars and suns, the delightful umbra that lay above them distilled the poison, the hatred towards his own heritage. "I know you've noticed how I've been altering, switching back to that of a Saiyan more so familiar to your past-,". The pause came and thus his breath followed suit. "The hunger to fight- it gets worse the stronger I get. I dread each day I awaken thanks to the little serpent in my blood. I'm sorry Durian but I've been giving in to it,"
Hanging his head, dark, chocolate hair draping gently about her chest as Lev's head lowered to drift the brow above her collar; unable to look at her. "I fought humans, I enjoyed it, they died and I bathed in the carnage- it broke my heart as it took a nefarious creature. One I had come across to point out that in that moment I was no better than he. I had to run, I had to leave that planet. What ever magic it worked about me had begun to run out and again I'm reminded how worthless I am, truly, at self control,". His brow met the flesh, a crook of her neck as they lay beneath the stars. How truly helpless he had felt in that moment, clawing at the wooden floor as he lay injured and pleading to what ever God would listen to give him back his nobility as a fighter. "Travelling and challenging souls had lost it's quelling of my desire to get stronger. I found myself craving blood lust- I'm sorry. I'm sorry I gave in it is why i suddenly had to get off that planet. I had only hurt those of evil but I couldn't trust myself to be that modicum of justice any longer and it breaks my heart,". The pleading soon began afterwards, "Help me," he whispered, "Help me cease this advance on the madness my race shares before I throw myself into a combat situation that is going to get inoocent people hurt- for the thrill. I don't want that, I have never desired it, help me please my Wife,"

HEAR ME
The Kagami would sense him before she saw him. Red eyes staring into the partially lighted skies from the planets and stars that scattered the universe, her thoughts were slow and specific. What would be said. What was up with him? What were they to do about the Majin? About the Mazoku? It was like things had been at a stand still with little communication and little move forwards. But this is why she called to him. To push things forwards. So when he’d draw near, come to her side, press his touch to her, she couldn’t help but smile. It was a weaker one, but appreciative none the less. She didn’t doubt he would join her for the discussion, but it still comforted her being to have him near.
Small affections shared, a brief kiss, and continued contact between the two quiet aliens. The red gaze of the female now captured by her other half, she’d no longer stare blankly to space and be within her own world. She shared with him. He didn’t speak a question to her, he merely stated a fact. She had called to him and that’s why he was here. With a short and single chuckle, she’d nod her head once. Closer into his embrace, entwined fingers, and the serene tone of his voice, she wondered if she had doubted him too much. The injuries he had returned with being a mere misunderstanding and she shouldn’t have worried.
But that would shatter quickly. His gaze faltered and moved from her face. Lip and tone quivered. Durian solidified the knowledge that she had a right to be worried. Mitra whispering her own encouragement of calm, she attempted to keep her Kagami vessel from stress and panic. To stay in reason would keep Durian on steady ground, to fall into panic could be devastating. But what he spoke wasn’t helping. The contact helped. The reminder that he was there and that he was hers. But was he really? Her hand tightened with his, gripping for the comfort she desired. The Saiyan with her that she loved, she couldn’t let him slip away.
He didn’t want it and he was fighting it, but it was still there. Why had she let this go for so long? The Kagami felt foolish, frustrated in her own ignorance. She let him fall and wasn’t there to keep him from his taunting nature. Bringing her free hand to him, tying her pale fingers into his darkened hair, she’d press his forehead more securely to her form. Lifting her own head from the ground and letting her face sink into the mess of a dark mop just before her. He spoke. He was stressed. She needed to help him. He begged her and all she could do was keep in contact with him. What did she say? What could she do to help? As lost as he may have been with his own desires, the Kagami was coming up empty with assistance.
Where she thought training with him would help to keep his needs at bay, it seemed getting stronger only furthered his need for a challenge. For war and blood. “I don’t know what to do.” Her voice cracked. She hadn’t expected this. A complete fall of a conversation that she thought would just be clarification, or maybe some minor thoughts. Reality had it that Levlidian was falling and she had no idea how to catch him.
Her fingers tugged closer at the hand she had in hers, closing her eyes and leaning into the familiar scent of her companion. She paused momentarily, trying to locate whatever calm she could from him. Then, she’d pull back, resting her head back upon the ground and hoping to catch his eye if he looked to her.
“A distraction? A purposeful situation? Maybe you do need the Wild Hunt or the Mazoku....”
She wasn’t thrilled with the thought. About putting him directly in a situation of violence. She had tried distracting him with herself and only made the situation worse. But... what else did she have? Her hand still in his hair, she’d rub gently at the Saiyan’s scalp.
“They have goals and needs. Maybe it’s an agenda that you can latch onto to keep your lust in check...”

A Distraction? Levlidian's brow furrowed whilst pressed against his beloved's collar, his fingers coiling in frustration about the thin blades of grass either side of his folded knees. It had been true, their endeavour's lately had flowed into the realm's of ignorance for all else that had been occurring and that included ignoring his own will to fight. What would Hinawa think of him now? Taking in a deep breath, the beast lessened his hold on the foliage and drew his head back to free from her fingers, his darkened mane. "When does that end? Working for another'll have me dancing between powerful fights-," the excitement at the prospect sickened him. "Though I did have a goal before we met, to protect rather than destroy and it seemed having that worked far better than when you and I vanished from the world,". Even now, beneath the coiling winds and endless depths of the skys he could feel that stalwart calm she wrought on him; yet even Durian, his beloved Kagami could not be with him always.
"No, if I'm going to join someone it needs to be investigating thoroughly, since our meeting with the Majin- it's become apparent that each number have their own alternate goals. The Wild Hunt I have no doubts would side with the SSE on occasion; something I can not abide by," shaking his head and the guilt washed through him. "Even so, I've met members which share no goal like their supposed leadership. Wrath, war-," a pause came and then his bowed head followed. "Maybe I'll just have to put this training to use. A distraction, a goal like you said. One of my own, get back to those roots of protecting the weaker and neutrality,". Still that Guilt swelled only masked by his biting of his lower lip.
"I'll try that-," he whispered, "-but I'm sorry that I betrayed your vision of me. I'd suppose the old you was partly right about my family," With a tight jaw occurring and a dip in the beasts head. She'd been so adamant and he just as much so to prove her wrong. Again the thought of complacency occupied his theories and yet what happened when they chose to settle down? Durian may have egged him on, denied him his claims before but now the support was very real even if it felt lack luster here, he understood why. What could she say? What could she do? Surely the sheer force of will and logic he was showing to defeat his frenzying blood could prove some worth; but in the wake of his mistakes, was it truly enough? Levlidian's fingers draw from the floor of Namek and cup the hems of her pants, fingers folding into the fabric and his head lowered again, this time in silent deduction.

HEAR ME
There were a few moments of silence. He was thinking and so was she. What was on his mind, Durian couldn’t fathom. Had she upset him? Did it help? Did he think it was a good idea or would he spiral farther away from her? The goddess within whispered further to try and calm the Kagami’s heart, but it beat too quickly to be silenced. Only once had she loved someone as much as him and she couldn’t lose that again. Pulling back from her hold, she’d retract her hand from the blackened hair and set her fingers into the soft bedding of Namek.
“That was the point.”
The Kagami spoke with strained tone. That’s why she had suggested the factions. It would give him some powerful fight to fight for. It would have a purpose. The fight is what he needed, right? Yet what he spoke next was a strike through the heart. He didn’t mean for it to be and the Kagami understood that it was true. But none the less it pained her. In essence, she wasn’t enough. Even worse, him taking time with her had only worsened his aggression and need for battle. Durian had lost him his protector status that she only wanted to encourage.
He spoke of the meeting with Shemha. The Wild Hunt. Durian had little doubt they would side with the SSE more often than not. But then again... there could be times that any group might side with the SSE. Life had a funny way of working against people. When he’d bow his head, she’d raise a hand to find his cheek. One hand still tangled with his, the other searching to comfort him more if she could.
“You can’t do it on your own. And you can’t do it with just me either. What better way to investigate a group than to be part?”
Even Durian knew that to be dangerous. Being a part of something could cause him to create excuses for the possible destruction the group would create. He could still lose at being a protector. Yet... he needed something soon, and investigating every group they came across would cause him to be just as lost as now.
He was sorry. She knew that. A calm and understanding would return. No matter what, she cared for him. Running a thumb over his cheek even as he’d go silent and avoid her gaze, she’d speak softly. Her heart was in pain, knowing she’d never be enough. Losing those brief dreams of not being surrounded by violence and fighting. No kin of their own. But still he was here, she’d cling to that.
“You will always be you. You’ve enjoyed battle since I met you. Together we’ll help you guide that joy into something constructive. You need direction. Whether we join someone or create a purpose and gain followers on our own. We’ll work through this.”

A short nod followed her intervention, the grind of teeth upon their own state of being summoned tension in the beasts brow. Still, his eye fluttered to the rubies that shone in the dark and so he'd watch with a steady furrow forming. "What of you?" he'd ask steadily as his minds eye wandered for choices he'd adverted between without a thought. "How are you feeling? Though dance about this again my love-," the tense jaw lessened into a brief smile, "-and I'll just have to ask again until you give way,". She'd been hsi rock from the beginning but seldom entrusted much to him, though Levlidian spoke openly; Durian did not and it bothered him; darkened his heart in a sense for the converse had always been about him and the issues that plagued the young Saiyan. Beneath that starry sky he now loomed over her and against her palms, knuckles seeking the slender blades beneath and fingers interwoven within her own.
"I know something looms in your mind," he whispered, "How can it not with all that is happening? As much as I desire battle, to be with you rises above even that. I haven't forgotten our plans. Why else would I look for a way to not conquer my bloods calling any longer, but to manage it,". The idea of a group had begun it's wain in desire, the lean back towards her, a future more so fulfilling than his vestige as a Warrior. Was this what set him apart or was she that essence all a long? Woven, dark robes swept across his back and blanketed his masculine frame courting her waist as easily as his own. Though the drums of war, those ambling desires to fight the strongest struggled through his memories with her.
Levlidian's heart ached now, soon enough his lips graced hers and with a genuine hold he could feel nothing more but the Kagami he's chosen. The beast's fingers wove tighter, tensing his forearms and soon he'd part with but a breath between them. "Talk to me," he whispered.

HEAR ME
The tide changes so quickly. For one moment they spoke of him and how to quell the beast within. The next, that prying dark eye was upon her and asking for her doubts and worries. It caused the Kagami to hesitate. She hadn’t expected such a twist so soon, she thought they’d find a more concrete way to end his suffering or plan his revival. Yet here the table was turned and she was left in the dark on how she was meant to help him. In her silence and pause from his original question, Levlidian would continue. Asking with more words and then smiling as he partially teased and partially threatened her.
What did linger in her darkened thoughts? Even as he spoke of him knowing there was something, Durian searched. The fear of what may come. The pain of realizing she wasn’t enough for him. The sadness of losing dreams that had been so short lived. And then a spark. A spark of rage or hatred... something from those starting months on Earth that was but a mere flicker in the recesses of her mind.
There was a sadness in the softening of the Kagami’s expression. The Saiyan sincerely believed that his aggressive relapse and admittance that he needed more but in some form of controlled sense would still keep the foundation for what they had discussed months ago. She loved him, but that was gone. She kept her hand to his face, a soft catch of his cheek that she wouldn’t release quite yet. So wartorn and rugged, yet a soft heart that somehow still longed for blood and battle.
A bittersweet kiss. It wracked her soul with pain for she wasn’t ready to be engulfed in the feelings she adored and found comforting in his hold and affection. He put her at such ease, yet now her mind was hard and bloody. Killed hopes fresh for their graves. He’s part but only minimally, their forms still close as to heat the other by mere presence, him ready to claim her in a kiss again if he so desired with the mere hair’s width between them.
Talk to me
She had to. She couldn’t go against those simple words from the man who held her close.
“I shall. But your matter isn’t settled. You hold lofty thoughts and hopeful ideas to sate you, but we have no plan. We have no actions set. We can’t dismiss you.”
Pausing to make sure he understood, she’d want it to sink it. Yet, she would bring her own troubles to light.
“I fear the future, as I often do. Your lust for battle is not one I share and at times it strains my uncertainty and anxiety.”
Smiling faintly, she couldn’t discourage that lust of his, but she would express that fear. That one. For how could she bring to light the pain he brought her? She wished to help him manage his side of battle and war, not further harm him. Pressing him with wants of peace and a life of mere family had caused that break right before they left Earth. She wasn’t about to pressure him with that simplicity again. He wasn’t made for it. And she wouldn’t torture him.

Levlidian's eye, singular and dark turned cold at her assumptions, the grasp lightened but he didn't move from her as he observed; was that a falter he saw? Still after all this time she shrouded herself, hid away from him whilst he battled with the desire for a fight. It was in the amassed thoughts that stitched reminder wove their way back into the beasts minds eye. "You're choosing to ignore your problems in favour of mine will destroy us. Whilst I grow do you think your own issues will lighten or remain the same; we deal with it all at once or not at all,". To surmise, he was relatively taken back himself at just how quickly the wisdom of an elder swallowed his words; painted them all the more for the woman pinned beneath. "My matter will be settled, if the Saiyan's of old can gather a family, live in releative peace and still protect those who need it- so can I,". Historic figures his Father had forced him to study, granted at the mercy of a fist; it's tales hung with him.
Lowering his head and courting the strength of his back, Lev' retracted from Durian and sat back upon the grass, wrist folded over the knee propped before him whilst his other folded beneath his hips. Every time, when ever his weakness came to light he'd press it down and away for another. Yet, here his own Wife was shielding the swelling void in her in favour of his own; he felt moderately insulted. @regardless of how care free I can be, Durian, I am no child I'd thank you not to treat me like one,". This is what it amounted to if anything, really, his carefree nature and ability to make light of situations; she'd always playfully mocked him for that. Was it entirely playful mocking though? The Paranoia in that thought was rife and it took a meager shake of his head to wrestle it loose. Folding the fingers of his propped up hand, joint creaking gently whilst his head afforded a tilt back to the sky.
Ironically, this had been one notion he'd afforded to evade with his Master, seemingly only serious behaviour was to be placed in the presence of some. From his lips danced a peaceful sigh. "I may look for combat, people to test myself again but not until lately did I look for something more exciting. It's a habit, one I'll break and resolute to becoming a Vanguard more than a Beserker. It'll be hard, sure; though I'm positive it'll just take some restraint- but should threats for the planets we're on come. You had best be aware I will fight them. I'm not a coward, Durian, I am a Warrior- I am not going to wait until I become something I'm not to hear your problems. You either tell me, or you don't; my goal is to be like the Saiyan's of old. regardless if you believe in that or not,"

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Something changed. The softness he had been speaking to her with and the pleas for help he had started with all faded away. In a single moment, the demeanor of the Saiyan was altered. What had she said? His first words shocked her. Destroy them? She wasn’t ignoring, merely not sharing. In due time they could get to her, but so much of her issues relied on getting through his. For them to deal with it all at once... It was likely possible, but the Kagami saw it as unnecessary. One did not often take on the army as a whole when they could take out pieces at a time.
So he wanted to be like one of those ancient Saiyans? Durian couldn’t say she remembered much of them... not personally, obviously, but in study. It wasn’t something she could recall without tainted mind and memory, for her past held all saiyans as the same. So far, she had listened. Not so much speechless as trying to hear him out and weave the right words to say. The Kagami hadn’t meant to make things worse, she merely wanted to make the path to recovery smoother. And he left her. Taking his warmth and comfort from her body as he would sit to her side. Durian didn’t know what to do. Comfort him? Spill all her thoughts? Her arms pulled beneath her torso and she sat up minimally upon her elbows.
“Lev.. I-“
Her words were quiet and an attempt at appealing to his calmer side. Yet what cut her off was that of the opposite. More aggressive than she would have thought she’d be in this meeting, a snide remark on the traits of him she held dear. As his demeanor had changed, so would hers. From confused to fiery, she’d narrow her gaze minimally as her insides seethed. She’d take to her feet. Pressing hard off the ground with her hands and finding balance immediately upon standing to her full height. She’d look down upon him with a cold vision.
“You ask, so you shall hear.”
It was harsh and with a razor’s edge. The thin hands of the female resting about her hips. While she looked down to him, her body faced another way as he. Her back was not to her, but her side. Aggravation and frustration were tearing apart that fear she had tried to express to hi and therefore taking its place.
“I am not ignoring my problems. I have concerns, fears, and feelings of sadness. I am fully aware they are there and what the causes are. However, I felt it best to deal with things one at a time. You disagree, and I’ll oblige your desires. But let us revisit you, dear Saiyan. Those of old had wisdom and numbers on their side. While you are a man, you are often still foolish. Time and again you have relied on your own power and have failed. You are sucked back into that life which you dread and find guilt in. To say that it only requires restraint may be accurate. But then you do not have it, Levlidian. You do not possess that level of restraint.”
Pausing, the Kagami needed to temper her anger. Holding her hand up from her hip and holding up one finger to him, he better not dare speak before she was finished. She was going to speak straight with him, pure and unbridled honesty. But she didn’t wish to harm nor insult him needlessly. And for this, she took the pause and breath.
“Your care free nature is often your mask. I notice and see this from you. I allow you to have it, for not every moment is about being blunt, honest, and open. Wishing to protect you from what I feel you need not know yet is not treating you as a child. Do you not wish to protect me? Or is it within your rights to treat me as a child if protection is your definition? You need something more concrete than ‘I shall restrain myself from my inner demons.’ Not even I was enough to help you overcome them. I’m not asking you to be a coward, I’m asking you to be a Warrior with purpose. A defined purpose. So that when you at all begin to stray, you will know immediately and rectify it. There should be no grey. There should be no doubt.”
The hardness remained. The red-eyed woman staring to the Saiyan that sat upon the ground unless he had since risen himself. Her finger she had to keep him waiting would subside. Her arm felt heavy and she would drop her hand. With a deep breath and heavy sigh, she’d look away from him. Even as she had tried to keep things clear and free from as much as anger as she could, she still felt heavy in her heart. Did she doubt him too much?
A saddened gaze would return to that Saiyan of hers. Deflated from her speech and harsh words.
“And I will tell you of my thoughts, fears, and pains when you are ready.”
If he was ready then, had no comments, she’d freely give of what he wanted.

She'd stood even as she spoke, that slender, frail figure loomed over him as others had in the past but what came knocked him as ever his Father's words, she may as well have recited the man from the days he'd been less of a monster and more of an introvert. Though he listened, he furrowed his brow but not a word escaped the beasts lips but the end of her sentence soon saw a vein pulsate about his brow. What was this? His worry sauntered clear and a very different aspect of his worth stepped into the light, stubborness; his rage swam to the bottom of his ocean's breadth heart and in that fine green saw heavy boots plant their flat ridges allowing his muscular figure to rise with generous aid of his Ki. Pocketing each hand, fingers woven into the fabric of his loosely fitted pants but the blandness of his white eye obscured by his chocolate mane. "Who are you to decide when I am ready?" came the calm but no less irritable bark. True enough, he was not angry but she amounted to scald him in a lesser fashion on his words yet, again, it surfaced that she would restrain based on a premise a parent or a teacher would take to a youngster.
"You're my wife, not my Master or my parent, I decide what I am ready to hear- it's you who isn't ready to share. Get -that- correct before doing precisely what you said you do not," Closing his singular eye and drawing in a deep, sullen breath he'd soon exhale and tilt his neck into a simple crack; observing her. "You are right, of course but a man- no, a Saiyan doesn't develop well under such prissy conditions. You wish a warrior? I have been more than that. My carefree nature is no mask, it's no shield, it's who I am when this damned body of mine is behaving itself. I am still young, my blood runs hot and my ancestry takes advantage as we have evolved to do as a warring race. You don't protect me by hiding, Durian, you insult me by in effect burying something I can -feel- from you. You think i am blind Kagami? You think my senses are limited to the battle prowess of a creatures body? I can sense your instabilities, I can feel the energy blocked in areas and restrained in others. I've tried to tell you this, I even trained with you to such an extent that you could begin doing this yourself and yet you failed to notice. Which is fine,"
A pause came, then her sad eyes were finally met with a glimmering obsidian orb and a rambunctious smile that coiled across his lips as though he'd changed moods. "If anger is what it's going to take to unlock your mind to me then I'll do it, not for me but for you. I'll do what ever it takes to be let back in again," the grin exposing his ivory lessened; "Unless it begins to do more harm than good. We're supposed to be a team. I lay my thoughts on you without hesitation because I believe as a pair we're stronger. Perhaps you haven't grasped what that actually means,". It seemed she had more to add, yet his lightening mood could only be that tell tale betrayal of his kind. Lev' seemed to thrive now, his demeanour changed, he knew now what she truly thought. Brutal as it may be and cold if listened incorrectly but beneath those deep red eyes he could see clearly that this was what it was to have at least part of her heart about her sleeve.
Slowly, tentatively with the frame of her shoulders courting clear her chest from view, she'd find the length of her beloved's arms occupying her waist and binding if she'd so allow. The crook of her neck now filled with his lips as they'd settle to her neck, "Tell your tale, it makes me feel better knowing I can focus on you- for once. I think you've been looking at ways you can help me in entirely the wrong light. Helping you, being there for you-" he'd squeeze gently despite the probable mood and if she'd allowed his embrace at all. "That is what helps, I am the means to my own Demons, you've caused none of it. You, your Demons and my ability to protect you in other ways; this is how I want to defeat mine and you can help,"

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
There it was. The fury she had expected to have awoken from her string of words. The advice and honesty she displayed had come across wrongly, too harshly, or been taken badly would aggravate her mate and bring his anger out. For if one spoke harshly the other often reciprocated. It had been as such since their meeting. Yet the word that escaped his mouth was not what she expected to hear. ...what? The female’s eyes would hold confusion as she searched back through her own words, the expression gaining shock as Levlidian gained his footing both in physical form and I word. It seemed he had his piece to say.
Yet, somewhere in his tirade the corners of the Kagami’s lips would threaten to break into a smile. For the most part, she stayed straight faced, though the Saiyan would easily take note of the one he knew so well if he paid any attention. There was much he said. Some she agreed, some she didn’t. She could set him straight after he was done or some other time, for the things she disagreed with weren’t overly important in comparison.
No longer sad, his smile would be met with her own amusement. The expression softened further at his silly words, anger to let him back in unto her. He spoke so easily and from the heart, she almost felt guilty to not have spoken up before now. Yet she still listened. His way with words was not elegant, but he could spout wisdom from time to time. Hints of knowledge beyond his years but the energy of ten gods.
The Kagami welcomed his embrace. The lips meeting her neck and welcoming her into his presence once more. Still he spoke and still she waited. It was torture to keep silent for so long, she wondered if he suffered the same when she had been tearing down his previous ideas and views. Her arms crossing over his, giving a light tug to sign she’d stay and appreciate his form being with her, she’d tilt her head to the side and press her nose to his cheek.
“That was poor wording on my part. I did not mean that you weren’t ready.”
Pulling back away from him with an amused smirk dancing on her lips, she’d lean back into his holding and tighten her grip upon his arms. “I had expected your fury after I had spoken my piece. But if you were not angry, and we could continue onwards in our conversation, I was going to give that which you desire to know. I don’t wish to hide from you, love. In a way, I was asking if you were ready to hear my worries or if you wanted to fight.” Chuckling lightly, she’d tilt her head against his and seek that comfort of her mate.
“Let’s not turn to anger. I will try to reveal myself to you more readily, but if you feel I’m withholding then ask of me.”
Another pause, she wasn’t done but she was attempting to gather her thoughts. The worries from earlier, the pains that he had brought to life when they spoke of his fall on Earth. She needed to find them and phrase them, pick how she wanted to speak them to the Saiyan that stayed close to her.
“I am no battle. I can not feed your thirst for power and blood. I am aware of this, yet I still feel guilt and pain for worsening your situation. With Hinawa you had a goal and were doing well. With Lily she also tamed your spirit. When I was added... even you yourself admitted that you took a turn for the worse. It pains me that I’m not enough, but even more that I can’t compare to those who previously helped and shaped you. While I don’t believe you wish rid of me, I can’t help but believe I’ve failed you.”
Her jaw tightened and her grin had subsided. Pain was difficult to smile through and she found no point in it now. Her gaze ahead and not focusing upon the Saiyan or herself, she’d let the different colors and atmosphere attempt to dull the sharp edge of her thoughts.
“We had once spoken of pups. Of home and of peace. It may have been foolish, but I longed for that idea. I clung to the thought of it simply being us and our own. I thought without fighting and vigilantes and warriors.”
The strain was becoming apparent in her voice. She didn’t wish to express such things. To show disappointment in who they were and give him no way to bring her out of it. What she longed for was impossible. She couldn’t be enough. She couldn’t have the family in simplicity. Not without further damaging the Saiyan. Closing her eyes, inhaling and then exhaling in a small huff, she wondered if she should say more or leave it as is...
“My first concern is for you to be who you are without worrying about falling. I didn’t share because I felt the rest would fall into place if we found you your peace of Saiyan heart. And if it didn’t, then we could fight my battle. I didn’t mean it to hide and harm. I wanted to take things one step at a time.”

Levlidian slowly nodded to her insight, he'd adjusted his jaw to what she'd spoken of, "Peace doesn't exist<" he muttered sadly and flexed an apologetic smile, "It's in my blood to always seek to be at my prime in combat, though I can settle with simple training; but fights will come. It's the curse of my blood, what I want to be sure of is I can win. We can still have pups my Queen. of course we can, it'll just be you and I in our little world. Though every world suffers from invaders. Don't think I have forgotten our plans because I have no," cupping her cheek and settling a gesture of a kiss to her lips he'd chuckle. "We'll reach there, nothing worth having was ever easy- I feel the two of us know it better than most. First we need to figure out how to free your people whether it by Violence or not, I know it plagues you or it will to think of them where they are whilst we live out our paradise,". A shrug followed and beneath the jewelled sky of darkness he'd slump beside the Kagami and roll onto his back to lay his head about her abdomen. "I know you wanted to take it one step at a time, but just focusing on one of us will cause the other to find it harder and harder to talk. It's better we share at the same time, that way we both have a fous other than ourselves,". A hand rose to cup under her thigh and there it would rest while he watched the air above.
"We still have so many more places to see, so many more adventures and when we have some interesting stories- we'll be able to keep our brats at least entertained at bed time," he'd chuckle, "Maybe even back on Ardot, who knows?" again he'd glance up at her. "I want to understand my blood more, they'll be half Saiyan and if it turns out they struggle like i do- I want to be able to help them find their way. It's not going to be fair if one suffers like I do and all i can do is shrug,". Levlidian flexed a smile, "I want to be wiser, stronger, then when we settle we can say we've learned all we can to teach the pups exactly what they need to know. About both of their species,". The goofy grin returned and he'd tilt his head so his cheek reflected against her tight clothing. "We're a perfect collaboration of two species who people thought would or could never see eye to eye. Don't you think we could do some amazing things with that?". The singular obsidian orb he bore, blades of green licking at his frame whilst said eye glistened with possibilities. He was becoming as he was before, excitable, child like and yet a fire burned in his very being that transcended such delegation.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Peace doesn’t exist.
It only further shattered her hopes. There would have been no situation to which she had her mate’s suffering end. He would continue to battle himself. Some doubts spoke that this was partially due to her presence. She didn’t feed into his training and hunger for fights. If she did, like Hinawa and Takeshi, would he be better sated? But Lily did not fight him. Exhaling through her nose, she’d turn her face forward an away from him once more, leaning back into his form as he continued on with his words. He spoke so many things. Bringing mixed feelings of comfort and dread to her heart with everything he said. Still a promised family, but amidst trial and battle.
“It’s just not what I had hoped for…”
She spoke quietly, a bit of muttering as she still sought him with herself. Her arms over his tightening ever so much as she didn’t wish to insult him or turn him away, but keep open. As she thought he wanted. Towards the end of his first bout with words he’d say something that was abundantly true. The Kagami. Her race. While she would try to ignore their captivity. While she might wish to live in peace with him away from strife and torment in their own little fantasy world. She would be torn apart at having run so far from them. Sighing with a weak chuckle, she’d turn to him and return the kiss he had given her only a few moments earlier.
Taking to the grass, the pair lying within the odd blue colored plantlife beneath their bodies, Lev would rest his head on her stomach. Her fingers trailing through his hair as she stared up at the sky. He was right, now that she knew everything. They needed to focus on one another. Not simply because it would be a distraction and a way of loving the other, but because… she’d never solve his issue. He had already said, he would always need to stay shaped and prepared to be the top fighter. Adventures. Exploring. Stories. With a faint smile, there would be a hint of trouble to it. “I just hadn’t wanted my future to be about conflict now that I had you, I guess. That was my past. And it’ll be the path to free the Kagami. I guess I was hoping it would be done someday.” She spoke quietly. Expressing her concern to the Saiyan with her, fingers toying with his dark locks.
But as he continued on, he eased her mind. A smile coming to her lip, she’d tilt her head to get at least a glimpse of him. His cheek pressing to her, his child-like grin appearing. It was something that often comforted her. The carefree nature of her mate. He had such joy in things when he wasn’t bogged down with stress and anger. He was purer in his joy, and she cherished it. “Okay. With you to keep me steady, this can all come to pass with my blessing.” Smirking faintly, her free hand would stretch for him. A soft caressing touch down his cheek, but ultimately hanging in the air, silently asking for his.
“As long as you don’t regret me. Do I weaken you? I want to be able to help you stand strong, as Hinawa and Lily have before me.” With a slow exhale, she’d grant her eyes to the skies above once again. “But I’d do anything to assist you learning about yourself. Especially if it meant helping our own.” Tensing up slightly, a small air of uncomfortableness at the thought of their own young. Creating it, more specifically. But no less she felt a twinge of excitement. One day. Who knew how long or soon, but one day.
